Ryan Garcia is really making the most of working with Zufa and Dana White. Did you catch him on that recently on the WWE? WWE is owned by the same group as Zufa Boxing and the UFC. So I can see how Ryan can make a quick transition and show up, hit somebody in the back with a fake guitar, I assume it was fake, and truly broaden his reach to the pro wrestling crowd. So I gotta give Ryan Garcia credit for figuring out how to do collaborations with other people that are outside of his immediate audience. Do you guys think that all these extracurricular activities like streaming on kick, showing up for WE, is all this proving too much of a distraction for Ryan? Is he gonna blow it in the ring versus Connor Ben because he's spending so much time trying to broaden his reach? Let us know your thoughts on Ryan Garcia in the WWE in the comments and fan mail. Thank you.
SPEAKER_01Wow. Voldemort now bought out the PFL. MVP is about to change the landscape of an professional MMA. Voldemort pretty much invited other fighters. He didn't say state the UFC by name, but I think you know that's what he's extending the invite to other MMA fighters to come join him with the MVP MMA promotion. Now, seeing as they have inherited the MVP promotion, has now inherited the PFL's professional MMA roster, Voldemort is effectively opening up the opportunity for fighters who are not under contract or want to get out of their contract with another promotion to face some of the very good fighters on the PFL roster. They're I feel like the PFL does have some very good fighters, but they're just not as well known as fighters in the UFC, even if they are, in fact, probably more skilled than the UFC. I actually think this is um good news for uh fighters who are signed to the PFL because you know, as much as I don't really like Voldemort on a personal level, on the business level, he has secured that deal with Netflix. And as we all figure Netflix does have a huge budget available for that. So the money is there to pay the fighters and to which is more important, but more important than just paying the fighters big first. Netflix has the ability to promote new fighters. I'm guessing that's why a lot of boxers chose to sign with your superbox. Now, tons of fanboys love to count other people's money and say, well, hey, Dana doesn't pay his spiders enough. But the thing is, the UFC invests a ton of their resources in promoting individual fighters. For example, with the UFC embedded series, fighters like Chugoshano Valley, Alexander Bolkonovsky, Max Holloway. These guys have become household names. That is something you really can't put a dollar value on. And quite frankly, I think most fighters would rather get that huge promotional lift rather than a huge first. Because with that type of publicity, they should then be able to leverage that to grow other businesses. So, in parallel to what the UFC has done to their promotional efforts for their individual fighters, I think MVP and Netflix are capable of doing that as well. The question then becomes just how much is Netflix willing to spend on free fight build-up in generating content around fighters on the MVP slash PFL roster. And in the end, how much of a rivalry can they how much of a rivalry can MVP PFL provide for the USA? Well, let me know your thoughts on Baltimore joining in on the MMA fight scene. I look forward to reading your comments and fan man. Thank you.
SPEAKER_00The great news is that I've been selected to represent represent Team USA at the World Championship Powerlifting Competition in November. This is the organization uh affiliated with USA powerlifting. They are dedicated to being drug-free, so all athletes have to commit to being drug tested. And while I consider myself a fighter, not a powerlifter per se, you never turn down an opportunity to compete in a world championship. That's just a rule for life if you're an athlete. So while I don't feel like I'm really ready to compete on that level, I'm gonna step up to the plate because I've had the opportunity to do so. That is a principle I learned as a young athlete, which is as soon as you're eligible to compete at the next highest level, you should just go ahead and do it. Of course, you're not gonna be ready. So, for example, if you're a child and you're 14, 15 years old and you have the opportunity to compete in the next level up, which would be the say 17-year-old to 21-year-old division, or even the adult division, you're you may not win your first try because you're still only 15 or 16. But you should definitely go and compete because it's a reconnaissance mission. You have to learn what it's like to compete at that level. You have to experience the unknown for yourself, and you need to feel the chaos, which is what I decided to do for this training cycle with powerlifting. I pushed myself to compete at the national level, and then lo and behold, against all odds, I qualified to compete at Worlds. So now, also in the lead up to that, I decided to compete in the Olympia, which is in Las Vegas, in September. Chose that one because one of my coaches said, hey, it's a really fun event. There's less pressure, and of course, at the Olympia, there's all sorts of other activities going on as well, such as the bodybuilding competitions, there's tons of vendors around with, you know, supplements, equipment, etc. So I think that'll be an interesting educational experience for me as well. So this year the World Powerlifting Championships are going to be in Houston, Texas. I don't have the full schedule just yet, but I anticipate I'll need to be there for at least four days, maybe five days. And as some of you may or may not know, a lot of amateur competition like this is self-funded, which means I get to pay for everything. Now, of course, in the lead up to this, I've also incurred expenses to travel and compete at the state championships, then at the national championships. So here's the bottom line. If you would like to support my efforts at the World Championships, you're more than welcome to leave a super thanks here or a super chat on one of my lives or super thanks on any video at all. You can also consider becoming a member of the channel because that also provides long-term support for this channel growth and therefore the income over time that's generated by the channel. If you would like to ensure that 100% of your contribution it goes towards me and not some other third party, you're welcome to head over to buymeacoffee.com where you can purchase coffees in increments of $5 US. So as I get a little more organized with this, I will post another video outlining specific expenses for the World Championships and maybe even the expenses I incurred already for states and nationals. So if you are feeling generous, please do go ahead and leave a super chat or super thanks. It would be greatly, greatly appreciated. If you're hearing this as a podcast, then you can there is a support link in the description that you can click on to make a contribution. So every penny helps. Don't be shy. I appreciate it from the bottom of my heart, and I look forward to doing my best in training and at this competition. So thanks again for supporting this channel, and thank you for supporting my efforts in the gym and on the field of play. Rhonda Rousey seems to be going all in versus Hunter Campbell and the UFC. Apparently, uh Rhonda Rousey's fight versus Gina Carano pulled in 17 million views. So Rhonda was basically telling Hunter Campbell, hey, in your face, you didn't want to put on our fight because you said you didn't know how to market two 40-year-old female fighters. Rhonda's reply to that was, well, I guess you don't know how to market anybody. And Rhonda points out that uh because of Hunter Campbell, the UFC missed out on promoting this huge fight between yourself and Gina. I'll let you guys be the judgment of that. I think the fight lasted what? Less than 60 seconds. So we have to call it fight and quotations. But Rhonda's also said something about that she wants to be bigger than the UFC, like with MVP MMA promotions. Do you guys think Rhonda Rousey and MVP can do that? MVP, meaning Voldemort's productions. They certainly have the tie-in with Netflix, but are they just gonna put on in quotations gimmick fights? Or will they actually become a valid uh boxing and MMA promoterslash uh platform partnership? Tell me what you guys think of the possibility of Rhonda Rousey becoming an MMA promoter. I'll look forward to hearing your opinion in the comments and fan mail. Thank you. And sorry for the kids screaming.
SPEAKER_01But not in MMA. He's gonna jump onto the wrestling hat with Shamayev. Tyron Woodley versus Kamza Shemayev. That is set to take place on a real American freestyle RAF wrestling card. It's set to take place in Moscow, Russia. That's about six weeks out. That RAF card, Moscow, will take place on September 5th. So I'm surprised that Woodley wants to jump out back there. I'm wondering if he'll how he'll do. Like, will he be in fight ready shape? A tough match versus Shemayov. As because as inactive as Hamza has been, he's been more active than Woodley has. He lost twice to Boldemore. Well, let me know what you think about Tyron Woodley making this wrestling comeback. I look forward to reading your comments at the end now. Thank you.
