Alright, post second workout of the day. So the second workout was some weight training. It was leg day today. Happy Monday. No excuses, but unfortunately, I did not have time to finish before the gym closed, but I did get at least about two-thirds of the way through. And the most important lift was the squat, and I finished all four sets times eight of that. So something is better than scratching it completely. I did know there was a chance I'd run out of time. However, if I didn't get this workout in tonight, then I'm not gonna get all three workouts in this week. So it was do it tonight or fall short for my weekly goals. But that said, let me know how your Monday went. Let me know what workouts you hit, and let's keep each other motivated. I look forward to hearing from you guys. Philip Hergovich told Moses Italma the truth, not once, not twice, but three times in their face-off. That was a classic pre-fight sit-down between two heavyweight fighters. If you missed it, just go back and check it out. It is on YouTube. What I enjoyed about that face-off was is that it was respectful the entire way through. There was really no trash talking. Both fighters kept it in a debate type format where they did go back and forth, but it never sunk to the level of name-calling and and trash talking. Now, in my quick little breakdown of Herkovich versus Italma, in terms of comparison comparing their experience, brought up a few points that also came up during this face-off. I will leave that main point until the end of this video. But let's start with what Philip Herkovich told Moses Itelma as far as just being moved along in his professional career. Well, Hergovich's point was that he comes from Croatia and really there's not a huge boxing community there. So he didn't get a lot of support. When he he won a bronze medal at the Olympics, but then when he went to turn pro, it wasn't like there was a huge machine of Croatian boxing to support him. So what he did was he put himself into that World Series of Boxing to get some more exposure. Now I have to give Philip Perkovich the point on that one because he's right. You know, um Moses Itama turned pro in the UK, and because he was a hot young prospect, he was he has been moved along quite well, and he did get the attention of the British boxing British boxing media. Now, the second really big point that Philip Herkovich made is he told Moses, if you want to be great, you have to have a good chin. Moses Italma disagreed with that. He said, Why would I want my chin tested? If you can't hit me, you're not gonna test my chin. Hergovitch's reply to that was, Well, you know, at some point you are gonna get hit, and if you don't have a chin, you're in big trouble. That goes along with another point, which is that Hergovitch tells Moses you really have not been tested yet. Look at your level of competition. And again, I do have to give Philip Hergovitch that point. Moses Itelma, if you you know, if you look at his record and who he's fought, he has been definitely brought along. And most definitely, Philip Hergovitch is the most dangerous opponent he's faced to date. Now, the good news, bad news with Moses being such an explosive fighter who gets his opponents out of there quickly, is that he just has also not accumulated a lot of rounds in the squared circle as a professional heavyweight. A lot of his fights have ended in first round knockouts, so he doesn't know what it feels like to go past six rounds. Now, the third and final point, which I really emphasized in in my video, is was that Philip Hergovich pointed out to Moses Itama more than once he said, Hey, you were youth world champion, right? As an amateur. And of course, Moses agreed with that. It's true, he was youth world champion. Philip says, Well, I was also, he said, but he says to Moses, you never fought in the elite division, right? And Moses had to agree, because that's also true. So what I should distinguish for you is that when Philip says the elite division, elite is not an adjective, it's a proper noun. So the elite division in in amateur boxing means grown adult division. It means you're at least over the age of 16 or 17, and there's no ceiling on your age limit. So you could have 10 fights or you could have 300 fights. The person who has 10 fights could get all the person who has over 300 fights. It just depends, as they say, on the luck of the draw. Now the youth division, however, is sandwiched between, I think it's like 17 to 21 or 17 to 20. I'm I'm not sure. A lot of amateur sports do have a youth division. If you follow hockey, I think it's 17 to 21 or 20. In judo, same thing. There's what they call there, there's a special divisions sort of set aside to help young athletes make that transition of being a teenager and then becoming a young adult. Now, when Philip Pergovich points this out to Moses Itelma, he's truly pointing out a big gap in their experience level. And that is that Moses Itelma never fought a grown adult man as an amateur. And that means he did not have to develop a skill set as a young man, say as a teenager, he did not have to develop that skill set that he would need to fight grown men once he became a grown man, which he is now. And I think that's a a huge factor in this matchup with Philip Herkovich. But check out this face-off between Moses Italma and Philip Herkovich and let me know what you guys think. I'll look forward to reading your comments. Saturday sparring is done. I did get in about seven rounds, seven three-minute rounds. And I did pick two combinations I specifically wanted to work on, in addition to my bread and butter moves. And I was able to pull off those combinations a couple of times, so I am I am happy with that. There's uh a Zuba Zufa boxing card this weekend. There's also a UFC fight night. To be honest, I'm not that interested in the UFC fights except for Amanda Limos. I'm mildly interested in the boxing fights because of the main event. Uh, it's one of the McKenna brothers. He's fighting for a title. But let me know what fights you guys are interested in. And be sure to hit the sub and the bell so you know when we do go live. Thank you, and I hope you guys are having a great weekend.
