SPEAKER_02

This is serious. Hey, I am Chad Davis, and if you like clean comedy with the side of poop jokes, you're in the right place, my friend. Hey, we have a really good show for you today. We're gonna laugh a lot. We're gonna talk about some uh some things that are on our minds, on our hearts, and it's gonna be a good time. Uh today with me I have one of my best friends, Jared Chamless. He is a comedic actor, he is a writer, he is a man of many talents. Uh love the dude so much. He is a man of integrity. And uh what else does Jared have? FG. FG, oh, FG status. Uh, you gotta watch later shows to figure that out. Uh that's a little Easter egg for you. Uh Father Glore. But um, we have Amber Davis, my lovely, beautiful wife. Love her so much. Uh her blue eyes are matching and um popping with the green. Uh, she is a comedic actor herself. Uh she is a writer, producer, director, uh florist, apparently. She's into flowers a lot. Like flowers. She's growing a lot of stuff stuff here at the house. Um what else? What else do you do?

SPEAKER_08

Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_02

A lot.

SPEAKER_08

A lot. I can't even think about it. All of the stuff. It's so much.

SPEAKER_02

Wow. Okay. So much that she can't think of it. So much. Yeah, you don't want to brag on yourself. That's a big thing. Kind of a big deal.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, no, no big deal. No big deal here. Yes, not at all.

SPEAKER_02

But we are the creators of Nashville Nonsense, the uh family-friendly sketch comedy show you know you never needed. It's out on the channel right now. We have a lot of fun, a lot of great cast members. We have a wonderful team, love them so much. And uh, you know, seasons one and two, uh, what we have on there, and we've already started filming uh for the next session, and uh, we have some um pretty cool plans and aspirations and desires and uh things like that that we want to do with the show. Uh that's coming soon. Uh and uh anyway, yeah. So uh how's everybody doing?

SPEAKER_11

Doing good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, what'd you guys do last night? Oh, yeah, interesting. Uh-huh. Well you see somebody special. We did. Uh we saw one of our favorite people last night, and uh, I think you were there too. I was gonna say, let me interrupt you because I saw somebody special last night. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, who did you see?

SPEAKER_11

I saw somebody special.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Uh we saw Jerry Seinfeld. Yeah. He was in the Nashville area. He was in uh Franklin at the first bank something other amphitheater. Yep. Uh we went with some friends. It was a great time. Did you enjoy the show?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I did. Yeah, I guess we should say we you know we didn't go together. Right, yeah. Um we actually sat extremely close and didn't even realize it. Found it out later. Yeah, apparently you were two rows ahead of us. Yeah, so you were in your fancy seats with your backs.

SPEAKER_02

We didn't know. It went best. I didn't buy anything. We did know that we were going, and you know, all of us were going. And so when we got there, I I took a quick selfie of me and Amber. So if you don't pull up that that Chad and Amber. You did, yeah. You sent it to us. Yeah, yeah. I sent it right to Jared, hey, uh, there's us uh right before the show started. At that time, we were still uh we were still in route to the venue. And so this is the text I got back from uh Jared immediately after I sent that to him.

SPEAKER_04

Uh yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's him and Matthew, his brother, his brother. Uh I just thought that was hilarious because it was just the look. They're so excited. Look at him.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, we had a good time. If you're wondering, he does have clothes that fit, but that shirt was all he had that was clean. So uh hi Matthew.

SPEAKER_11

That was great because we're like, here we are, where are you?

SPEAKER_03

And then it was like, where we are is we missed, we misguided the amount of time it was gonna take us to park and walk. So we did we got there in time to see the opener. Yeah, and Ryan Hamilton. Ryan Hamilton opened and very funny. Uh me and my brother liked him. And we walked around the venue, it was very nice too. I'd never been my brother. I'd seen a show there, uh Incubus, if you've ever heard of that. I know exactly who that is. My brother went there to see them and he really enjoyed that. I liked them a lot. So it was he said it was probably one of the better shows he's ever been to. That's cool. So he had been there before, I had not.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Uh my daughter took me there um last year and we saw Primus. Um just another 90s band, whatever. Uh but it we had a good time, it was fun. Uh, but uh yeah, it was awesome. Like, okay, let me ask you this. Yeah, so what would be very irritating for a stand-up comedian uh something to happen during the show? If you're up there and you're and you're bit and you're you know, it's it's it's a one-way conversation.

SPEAKER_03

All right. I know I know what you're talking about.

SPEAKER_02

So if you're up there and you're and you're in your bit and you have your certain transition and flows and cadence that you're trying to pull off to for the timing, it's it's important. What would be the worst thing? Would be interruption. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Like heckling or because any any interruption would be heckling, even if you're trying to be a fan and like you know, not even being insulting to him, but just just making an obscene amount of noise or drawing attention away from what he's trying to.

SPEAKER_09

What could y'all be talking about? Oh goodness.

SPEAKER_03

You know what we're talking about.

SPEAKER_02

Oh goodness. So as you know, we just talked about we f we later found out that we're only a couple rows from each other. To our left, in a section just right next to us, uh, was a lady, and uh what was she what was she doing? She was hooting and hollering.

SPEAKER_03

Amber, you heard her, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Oh yeah, it was like every time that he made like a joke, she was like, Woo! Woo! But it was like she was on a mechanical bowl. Yeah, it cannot even be as loud as she was right now because it would it would spike the mics. Like it was so loud.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, we were a ways way back too. And even Jerry remarked, because like so she did it happen so often. He was like, Is there another show going on?

SPEAKER_08

Because that guy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. So this lady did it through all of his uh his uh show. A good 20, 30 minutes into his set.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, still do still doing it.

SPEAKER_02

Like every every couple of seconds she would holler just randomly. And finally, this guy did what everybody wanted to do. He had enough gumption and courage just to turn around and yell at his top of his lungs, at the top of his lungs, at matching her volume. Shut up.

SPEAKER_03

And I'll say he said it as polite as you possibly could in that situation. Yeah, he screamed it right at it. Yeah, yeah. I was like, but that was polite though. Yeah. Because it it needed more.

SPEAKER_10

And it wasn't until he said shut up that that Jerry Seinfeld said.

SPEAKER_02

That's because a lot of people gave like a cheer when he said, Everybody was like, that's what set off, and that's what Jerry said. Is there another show? Yeah, well, yes, there is, Jerry, because we're cheering for this nice citizen to shut up this uh I would probably guess that alcohol was involved.

SPEAKER_10

I'm sure. Or medication of some kind.

SPEAKER_03

Maybe a mixture.

SPEAKER_10

Maybe like some kind of yes, concoction that she was doing.

SPEAKER_03

If you were local and you were there, please comment and you can say that you because I mean this was a big venue, but still I'm guessing you would we were right next to it, but I'm thinking you would have heard it.

SPEAKER_10

Yes. You would have heard it from a ways away. And the challenge was is that you know, because she was like, Woo! Like you we're we're trying to listen to what Jerry's saying, and I would miss like a setup of a joke. Yeah, and then he and then he would say the joke and everybody would laugh that was closer to him, but all of us in that section we didn't know what he said.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. And so Jerry's missing our laugh.

SPEAKER_10

Right, yeah. So it was yeah. But but after that happened, right before that happened, right before he said shut up, one of the last things she said was Michael Jackson.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that was towards the end. Yeah, that was towards the end when she was leaving. Yeah, I think she saw him. Yeah. Oh yeah. But the thing is, I don't know. He's been spotted in pregnancy a couple of times. Right. If she was either she was by herself, which I I don't know how she got there.

SPEAKER_08

She was by the end of the night.

SPEAKER_02

But she was by the end of the night because nobody who came with her apparently walked out and chased after her at all. Nobody was admitting they were with that.

SPEAKER_10

Oh, did y'all see her walk out?

SPEAKER_03

I think I saw I mean I saw the securities and people come. I mean, even from the distance we were, I don't think Jerry looked like Michael.

SPEAKER_08

No.

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_03

I mean, the spotlights were hitting him kind of where his skin was super white, but I mean, yeah, it didn't look like it makes me think that she was like, I'm tired of Jerry Seinfeld, I want Michael to the show. She wanted to see if Michael. Yeah, yeah. I don't know. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

That tells you how much she'd been drinking.

SPEAKER_03

But aside from the lady, Jerry had a good show. Oh, it was great. Very funny. It was the third time I'd seen him.

SPEAKER_02

I will say that the Ryan Hamilton guy was funny as well, but his his cadence and his timing reminded me of a younger Jerry.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

And Jerry Seinfeld, uh, he's always funny to me. He he seemed more like Larry David to me.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he was very animated.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, and he did a lot of scream, and I'm saying this in a good way, like his screaming, like at the points where he would like yell at the whatever, you know, at whatever he was talking about, like, you know, he screamed, like, he's 70 something years old. He's putting everything into this bit. I it I thought it was a great show.

SPEAKER_10

He was full-on energy.

SPEAKER_03

My brother even remarked, because we got there right before the uh the opening, what was his name again? Ryan Hamilton. Ryan Hamilton, right before Ryan got on.

SPEAKER_04

He was great.

SPEAKER_03

We get there, and so I've never seen the venue, so we're walking around the back, not where he could see, like not through the audio. We're walking around the back with the rocks and stuff. And my brother goes, you know, we better get to where we can see him because this guy kind of sounds like Jerry a little bit. Like it's like if we can't actually put our eyes on him, we might think that he's like, you know, my brother goes, What's the deal with airline peanut? That's how that was a bad impression of him. That was close. He sounded like a young Jerry.

SPEAKER_10

I really like Ryan Hamilton. I've followed him for a number of years, and I think. I mean, not like stalking him, but I've seen his specials and different things. He's really funny.

SPEAKER_02

He's a clean, clean, uh cleaning. Uh he's got some nice insight and uh very funny.

SPEAKER_03

I was thinking Jerry's show was uh extremely clean, no dirty content with it, but did have a couple of uh couple of profanities throughout. You know, maybe maybe maybe four at best. But uh there was nothing uh obscene or nasty. Right, nothing nasty. Like you could have definitely brought like I'd say a teenager or something to the show.

SPEAKER_02

It was a couple of uh uh close spit takes from me um on some of his stuff. One of the things you it won't translate well, but you guys will know, uh, is when he's when you're talking to people and they can't finish their stories or they're making uh no connection between the conversation that you're having with them, and he said, Sometimes I just want to just lean into them and look them in the eye and just yell, I don't care. And he screamed it. Yeah, but he screamed it. But it was very how he did it, the timing, I I mean, I spit take it.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, his timing is like masterful. Yeah, really.

SPEAKER_03

I love how he opened it about the cell phones. Yeah. A lot of comedy I've been to a lot of comedy shows, and I'm not gonna say all of them, but in a maybe about half, you know. I've been to them where they like you have to lock it up. Yeah, you gotta put it in the little Sometimes they give you something that you magnetly lock it, and you can't get to your phone unless you get up and leave. Right. Or have them get so you can do it, or some place have just been like, you know, we don't want your cell phone out. But Jerry was like, no, bring your phone out. I don't care what you record. Right. Nobody cares what's on your phone. He's like, then somebody took a picture and he was like, What are you gonna do with that?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, right.

SPEAKER_03

Everybody knows what it looked like. Yeah, what are you gonna do with that? You're gonna send that to somebody and they're gonna come back with cool.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah, it was so good. It was so good.

SPEAKER_02

Highly recommend going see Jerry Seinfeld. Uh I know we've seen him a couple times. I know Jerry, you've seen him and we've seen him.

SPEAKER_03

I've seen three times total. I mean, we've got the greatest comedian alive, I think, right now. Oh, yeah. Top notch. If you could put any other people in the in the I mean, I think his name would be in the uh one of the you know the best comedians alive right now ever.

SPEAKER_02

One last thing, so one last thing. Oh yeah, yeah. One last thing here is yeah, I'm sure you guys experienced, I mean, you experienced like we experienced it. But at the end of the show, he wrapped up and he was walking on stage, and you know, I I stood up for Stan Innovation, I was like, Standing O, Jake. There was David O and he and he came right back, but when he was coming back, there was a sea of people leaving. Yeah. I mean, a lot of people. And and they kept and he go, he was, hey, uh, thank you for being so polite. Uh at this time I'll take some questions, and and this is a candid moment, and people were leaving.

SPEAKER_03

He does that at the end of all of the other times I've seen him, he always takes it's usually Seinfeld questions on the show that somebody asked, but he takes questions from people out in the audience he like point, like, you know, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And I it I was just floored at the amount of people who were leaving that weren't I think it was probably because of maybe the I think the venue had a lot to do with it. The way where they had us park. Right, yeah, okay. People are like, it's already, you know, in the end.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, they had babysitters and stuff.

SPEAKER_03

He went for uh over an hour. Oh yeah, because he didn't get up there till he didn't get up there till a little after after 8 30. And he went well close to you know, it's 9 45.

SPEAKER_10

But I mean, you're already out. You're already out, and you're already gonna have to deal with traffic. Why leave the show when the show's not over? And you're you paid to come see Jerry Seinfeld and he's being asked questions. And my whole take is that my goodness, could we get some better questions?

SPEAKER_03

And let me tell you something. That's always how it is. Again, like the questions aren't being screened, it's just him pointing going, hopefully you've got a good question.

SPEAKER_09

They did not.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Wow. It was nothing of interest.

SPEAKER_10

No, it was random. One guy was asking about Milwaukee or something.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it's because of the the playoffs.

SPEAKER_10

It's the right because of the Mets, because he's a Mets fan.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

I think that's why they were.

SPEAKER_02

Not playoffs, but uh the baseball baseball. Baseball. I was I'm thinking of the Stanley Cup playoffs. Yeah, not not the Cup Cup.

SPEAKER_10

Baseball season just began.

SPEAKER_02

Right, right, right, right, right. Um, but anyway, it was uh a very good show. And so what do we got now?

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, so uh we're gonna jump into some more news besides just what's going on here with us. But if you have any news clips, we would love to be able to hear from you. SPEAKER_03

Uh I've got people that tell me they watch that, and I'm like, man, don't tell me. I want to hear it through the comments. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Like, subscribe, share, all the things. All right. So in the news this uh last week or so, uh, a couple things. One thing is is this news? The real WKRP is here.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_10

So does anybody know what I'm talking about with WKRP?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, Winnie. Oh, that that wasn't the radio station for the bell, the TV show.

SPEAKER_10

No.

SPEAKER_03

Okay.

SPEAKER_10

No. WKRP in Cincinnati was an awesome TV show. It had um Lonnie Anderson in it. It had uh Gordon Lightfoot. Is that his name? I know. Um but all these great actors and they owned a radio Les Nessman and um all of the characters.

SPEAKER_02

That wasn't his actors.

SPEAKER_10

Andy Travis. Um Andy Travis? Andy Travis, not Randy. Uh but all the characters on WKRP in Cincinnati, it was like in the late 70s, early 80s. It was a really funny TV show. Uh but anyways, um for years a lot of people are like, well, why don't you have an actual radio station that is this? Well, now we do. We actually have it. So here it is. There's an actual radio radio station.

SPEAKER_12

Well, it's uh truly a case of life imitating art, and one media outlet in Ohio is living up to its best life on air. WKRP in Cincinnati is now real. Three stations in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, and Dayton, Ohio, simultast the station's programming and listeners are now hearing them all identified as WKRP. But are considered a different classification. And of course, they have a 70s and 80s based format. Actor Gary Sandy, who played program director Andy Travis in the show, was there to kick things off. No word on if the station plans to have any kind of uh Thanksgiving turkey giveaway.

SPEAKER_10

The humanity Yeah, that was the best episode ever. But Andy uh Travis, um the the guy he was mentioning, um he was the station director on the show. He like helped to launch the first pairing of the show. And they're gonna play music that they played on the TV show, like the 70s and the 80s. Yeah, yeah. Music, that's kind of music they're gonna play. And they're supposed to have some like all kinds of like giveaways and different things and WKRP stuff. So cool. I don't know, is it news? What do you think?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I think it's news. I mean, I'll say I didn't I wasn't uh a super fan or of of the show, but if you like the show for sure, you're gonna want to know that about that. Yeah, that's awesome.

SPEAKER_02

I also think that's a good marketing for radio because uh I think radio could go by the wayside like the Blockbuster or the Kmart and stuff like that, because of all the streaming uh or um you know access to your phone and when you do car play, you may not be listening to radio, you might be just listening to your playlist or or a podcast or whatever coming in. And uh so uh but yeah, I think it's a good marketing uh for for that.

SPEAKER_10

I think so too. I think it's smart marketing. Apparently, the guy that owns the station has been trying to get the rights to it for a number of years, and this station in North Carolina had the title WKRP and he worked it out somehow that he finally got it. So even though North Carolina has a WKRP, um it's gonna be totally different. And it's Cincinnati. I mean, that's what it's known for. That's what's gonna be.

SPEAKER_02

The FM range is too far away. It'd be fine, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

That's right. So yeah, it's kind of interesting. Okay, so we all know about I'm sure by now what happened to Spirit Airlines.

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Like Spirit Airlines went under. Are you serious? Yeah. I mean, so Spirit Airlines like went under. It canceled, like, like, and it was a as far as I know, it was in the night. It was like the day of, it's like we're canceling all the flights and we've done it. People stranded. Yeah, people were stranded.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, we're not a plane anymore? Right.

SPEAKER_10

We're shutting down the whole thing. So it's no, I didn't know that.

SPEAKER_02

What's funny is John Chris has a bit about Spirit Airlines that he did like a handful of years ago. Yeah, well, he well no, it's about like how crazy. How cra crazy it is. And he said, he he says, well, a lot of people are blaming me for the shutdown of Spirit Airlines because of my bit. And he showed the bit. It's really funny. It's a funny bit. Asking for a doctor, is there a doctor on board? And it's Spirit Airlines, like, we're on Spirit Airlines. Right. Anyway, it's a very funny bit if you haven't seen it. Yes. But uh, yeah, they they canceled it.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, so Spirit Airlines RIP is done, and it just completely went down. Well, so that's been all over social media and all the things, and it's been crazy.

SPEAKER_03

When did when are they crazy?

SPEAKER_10

Last as well, as we aired this.

SPEAKER_02

A couple Saturdays ago.

SPEAKER_10

Let me think it'd be like the 5th or 6th of May.

SPEAKER_02

No, it was the 2nd of May.

SPEAKER_10

The 2nd of May, okay. Yeah, something like that.

SPEAKER_02

So beginning of the month. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah. So it's kind of crazy. But in addition to that, Frontier Airlines, oh yeah, uh, pedestrian was hit and killed by a plane.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, I did see this, but he did not look both ways before he was crossing, though. Oh, okay. Yeah, so he didn't push the button.

SPEAKER_10

So, number one, we never want to take light of somebody's life that they actually died. And we don't know the family. This is, I'm sure, a horrible situation for the family or whatever. But it's odd that a plane hit a pedestrian.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, how low was this plane flying?

SPEAKER_10

Well, so and it was Frontier Airlines, it just made me think of the Spirit Airline because they're kind of like competitors of one other two. I didn't know that. Okay. I think so, because Frontier is I mean, maybe not.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe it's about milk crates on there sitting in on.

SPEAKER_10

I don't know. So um, what I learned about this is that the plane, this was in That the pilots um aboarded a takeoff and passengers were evacuated from the aircraft because there was smoke in the cabin. So somebody was smoking. And I don't know about that, but there was smoke on the cabin.

SPEAKER_03

Started a fire.

SPEAKER_10

And uh they had to stop on the runway. So they like halted on the runway and hit a pedestrian. That's all that is being shared. Like there's no other information.

SPEAKER_03

He shouldn't have probably. I mean, I I guess you're right.

SPEAKER_10

And then in one report I saw that it's like the fence was intact. And so then I'm thinking, like, was it one of those things where it was like they went all the way to the end of the runway and there was like a fence? Yeah. You know, and then I mean they literally like came off the target.

SPEAKER_02

What if it was the the guy with the lightsabers and he's like stuff right?

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, yeah. I don't know. So they're not revealing how they hit a pedestrian.

SPEAKER_03

No, because I would say like a worker. Oh, it's true. A pedestrian is someone who's just walking walking.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

So what like an air a plane hit a pedestrian. You don't hear that every day.

SPEAKER_02

Right. And yeah. Yeah. It must have been going pretty fast because usually when the planes are taxing.

SPEAKER_03

It must have been going pretty fast.

SPEAKER_02

Taxiing on the runway. When it's taxiing to the terminal, it's not going. Of course it was going fast. I'm talking about when well if it's in the air, it can't hit a pedestrian. No, no, it hit him. Yes, it hit him while it was flying. It was just low. No, what I'm saying is that if he got hit when he's walking near the terminal, you know how the you know the planes are taxing to the terminal? Yeah. They're not going fast. And that's where most people are walking.

SPEAKER_10

Oh right, no, but what I'm thinking is that a plane that is taxing is going faster than even a car would be.

SPEAKER_02

I under I understand what you're saying. When you think it's like a school zone and these planes are going like No, no, no, no, no. If it's on the flight path and it's taking off, that thing is booking. You're right. And that person shouldn't be out there. They should know, like, oh gosh. That's where we have to stop because the people are landing and taking off planes. I thought that this person was walking near a terminal where all the you know the guys with the big uh Princess Leia muscle on their baggage. And these things are not going that fast because they're parking near the terminal, so they're not going as fast. So if you saw these things coming, you could probably, you know, like, what are you doing just standing there? It's like Austin Powers with the big Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

This is the pilot. The pilot said we're stopping on the runway. We just hit somebody, we have an engine fire.

SPEAKER_02

That's what causes smoke?

SPEAKER_10

I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

When he hit him that caused smoke, I don't know.

SPEAKER_10

That's just a weird that's a weird, like I'm thinking this plane was probably moving.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and he's not this guy, some not as smart individuals out there where planes are taking off and landing. Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Maybe so. I mean, who's walking around?

SPEAKER_03

Like right before the the the wings do like this, something and it takes off. That's where he's like, stop. You know, so yeah.

SPEAKER_10

I mean, who's who's walking?

SPEAKER_03

I guess he was also going slow enough that when he hit somebody, he kind of, you know, he could do it.

SPEAKER_02

Was that in the roadway or was that the plane? Let's run it back. And then he has to look in the rearview mirror. Yeah, no, he's gotta go up and come back down and land again. No, that was that was a runway.

SPEAKER_09

Oh wow. That's just wild.

SPEAKER_02

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_10

So I think news, but there's a lot of questions that I have because there's no answers here.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, the answers you should have gotten on spirit.

SPEAKER_10

It's random things. Okay, here we go. Everybody in America is talking about this, so we're gonna jump in. Okay. We're gonna jump in. Is America ready for this?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know. I think they are.

SPEAKER_10

Here we go. Is America ready?

SPEAKER_02

America should have a good idea. I think I like this guy.

SPEAKER_06

They would uh be they'd be alarmed about what it is, and I think, but I think mostly they'd be alarmed at why why the government won't allow it out.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_06

And and what what's at the base of it, and and you know, all the theories aside whether you think it's extraterrestrial, if you think it's if it's something from this earth, you know, it's the Russians, the Chinese, or the Americans, which I don't think it is.

SPEAKER_03

Um at the Denver Airport.

SPEAKER_06

And then maybe allow some of the pilots to talk and tell exactly what they've seen. And the last um the last briefing, I had that some pretty incredible photos, and I think that you should you should have the right to see those.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, of course he's talking about uh who is this? This is Tim Burchard. He's the U.S. Congressman uh out of Tennessee based out of Knoxville. Um he's got a lot of no notoriety uh for talking about uh UAPs, UFOs, extra extraterrestrial life, and things of that nature. Um and uh he's been on a lot of podcasts l recently and interviews.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, just recently on Joe Rogan.

SPEAKER_02

Joe Rogan, yeah. I I actually like the guy. He um seems very genuine, he's he's very um calculated in what he says. Um he he's very comical as well. He has like little country one sayings and stuff that light in the mood. But recently what just happened uh is uh uh President Trump just uh released some um files that people were asking for to uh start a slow leaking uh like pictures and video of UFO UAP activity that they can't identify. Why would you slow leak it? Exactly. And that's what a lot of people are mad because that's what she's talking about, is America ready for this. And I think they are, and the thing is that I think the expectation was built up so much that they were gonna leak something that nothing was really leaked that we didn't already have seen, haven't haven't already seen.

SPEAKER_10

Right. And I think I'll show you some stuff that was leaked. I've got a video.

SPEAKER_02

For real? Yeah, yep, yep.

SPEAKER_10

Let's see.

SPEAKER_02

I gotta get on that internet. I didn't know any of this. Yeah, and it the thing is, we if it's the same video I'm thinking, you're gonna say you're gonna watch this and you're like, well, I've got a lot of things.

SPEAKER_00

So White House and Shama might be the most talked-about files on the internet right now. We're talking never before seen UFO and extraterrestrial life documents tied to Apollo missions, FBI investigations, and years of government secrecy. And honestly, some of this stuff sounds like it's straight out of a movie. One newly released Apollo transcript describes astronauts spotting what they called jagged angular fragments tumbling outside their spacecraft while orbiting the moon. Then another photo from the lunar surface appears to show three unexplained objects just hanging out in the sky. And one of the newly released videos reportedly shows strange objects moving near US aircrafts during this FBI investigation back in 1999. Objects the government still can't fully explain. The Trump administration says Americans can now finally make up their own minds instead of being told what to believe. Then you have officials from the Department of War, the FBI, NASA, and Tulsi Gaver's office, all backing the release of this as part of a massive transparency push. Now, no one's saying aliens, but after decades of rumors, cover-up accusations, and grainy UFO footage, the government is suddenly opening their vault.

SPEAKER_02

And this apparently is just the first time. Immediately, I think people are more upset. And this is my take on it, okay? No one's come out and said this directly that I'm aware of, but my take on it is people are upset about this because we've seen stuff like this already. Like these little objects flying around, whatever. What we want to see is biological life, proof of an alien, or what you know, honestly, what I believe um in the spiritual realm or something that was already here and um you know before all the stuff.

SPEAKER_09

Anyway, well, that's a good segue to something else.

SPEAKER_02

Just demonic and fallen angels and all that stuff. The Ark of the Covenant or something. Yeah, Nephilim, children of Nephilim, or whatever. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Because um just a couple years ago, Ring, um, the Ring Camera Company actually turn it down a little bit. Okay, the Ring Camera Company, um, they wanted to get on this and they were gonna give a million dollars for proof.

SPEAKER_01

Ah the truth is out there, and Dorbo Company Ring wants you to help find it. They're giving away one million dollars to whoever can capture evidence of extraterrestrial life on your ring camera. That's a lot of money. All right, if you're not a believer, that's okay. Whoever can create the best fake alien video like this one can win a $500 Amazon gift.

SPEAKER_03

So that's a great way for ring people to let them. So what is a ring?

SPEAKER_01

Ring's getting into the water.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, ring knows no one's gonna do that, so they're not gonna pay the million dollars. Right.

SPEAKER_10

But um, yeah, that's that's the kind of the thing that I've been seeing all over like the internet and stuff, and uh that's why, you know, and here we don't talk a lot about politics and other things, but this is so huge, and people are talking all about this everywhere.

SPEAKER_04

Right.

SPEAKER_10

And it really is where it's like, okay, well, you've released some, and as we're filming this, they've released some, but it's pretty much stuff that we've seen. So stuff that people have seen.

SPEAKER_02

And then there are in the the the administration, the current administration has talked about how they're going to start leaking out stuff, like a a slow roll of things. So by the time this comes out, um uh here on this Tuesday, there could be something that that morning that comes out or the or the night before or something. So but hopefully, hopefully.

SPEAKER_10

But then Tim Burchett guy says, I mean, him and like a group of um congressmen, they've seen some things and he has said like that there's some pretty blatant stuff that that when you see you're gonna be shocked.

SPEAKER_02

That's what he said, and that's that's that's what I meant by the expectation wise. Like the expectation is built up so much that you the congressman says this, and but the information that's being uh leaked out is not meeting that. So Right.

SPEAKER_10

So it's interesting. Uh what are your takes, Jared? What do you think?

SPEAKER_03

Man, I don't know. It's hard to believe anything now. I mean, even with the videos, they're I mean who's to even say? I mean, I don't know, you know, AI. Yeah, I hate using them. Yeah, I mean, because the stuff can be created and made, and then you say, you know, this was 20 years ago. Well, I don't know that.

SPEAKER_10

Right. Yeah, that's true. Yeah, that's a lot of truth. It's interesting.

SPEAKER_03

Uh, do I believe in aliens? Uh no. I mean, if they are, they don't want us to be, they don't want to interact with us.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

I don't think I think if they wanted to, then like somebody, somewhere, you would have some kind of interaction, you know, like uh, you know, like with the kid that hides the alien for, you know, somewhere the the alien finally comes out, you know, you find it's like smacking me. You know what I'm talking about? You know what I'm talking about.

SPEAKER_09

Flight of the Navigator?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you know what I'm saying? Like somebody E.T. Come on. Somebody's gonna see it, and it's it's no one's ever seen one. They haven't come. So if they are real, they don't want to fool with us.

SPEAKER_10

And it's interesting, all the timing of all of this, too. It's like the timing of all this release, and then also the timing of Steven Spielberg's got a movie coming out this summer that's called Disclosure, and it's about all of this kind of stuff.

SPEAKER_03

I don't know whether even the purpose, even if they even let's okay, just f for discussion's sake, let's hypothetically say that the aliens are real. Right.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

So now what? Yeah. Right. I mean, they're they're not they don't live next door, right? They're not hovering up. I mean, they're not right.

SPEAKER_02

And the biggest thing we've uh seen in the news, uh, well, internet news, put it that way, is that uh apparently there was this kind of summit where top officials, uh leading officials, uh gathered in some pastors, and they told these pastors like, hey, listen, uh, some information's gonna be leaked out that aliens are real and they are um the ones that created everything and they created us, and this is how we got our beginning. It wasn't they created religion of Christianity and all the different religions, so um, and that's supposed to shake people's faith. However, it doesn't shake my faith at all. Um yeah, I think it's super big time kooky talk. And but you know that people are gonna say those types of things.

SPEAKER_10

It's like I've always said is that when the rapture comes, people are gonna say we were taken by aliens.

SPEAKER_02

Right, but there's gonna be even the Bible talks about um like Christians being deceived, and I think that's gonna be a part of how they're being deceived. Yeah. Um, and so I don't be don't be deceived.

SPEAKER_10

Well, I mean, it's hard with like what like Jared said, yeah, is that you don't know what's real because of like AI or like people adjusting photos and stuff. I just believe that you know even if it is real, so what?

SPEAKER_03

It doesn't change anything of of what we believe. Yeah, right. If that alien does have a soul, then the only way well that alien will get to heaven would be through Jesus.

SPEAKER_10

So right, that's true. I just I believe it's all more in the demonic angel realm than it is in in all the alien stuff. And why not?

SPEAKER_03

Why wouldn't you know and again if they are real, it's not like we have some kind of treaty with them or something. I mean, it's like there's there's nothing going on, even if that yes, they're real, they've flown over us and they left.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

We're like that vacation spot for the aliens, you know, that nobody wants to go. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

Imagine President Trump sitting down with a group of aliens and trying to knock out a peace treaty. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Alien's like, we want to just come here for vacation for once in a while, but your planet sucks. Right.

SPEAKER_09

And he's like, I'll build you a hotel.

SPEAKER_03

Right.

SPEAKER_02

Right. That's really funny. It's like, yeah, it's like a plant earthly wall you promised. Planet Earth like to the aliens like Myrtle Beach.

SPEAKER_03

That's all I'll build you a hotel. He's like, didn't you promise aliens a wall too that we never saw? Oh wow.

SPEAKER_09

Wow, well, yeah. So that's the news. That's what's going on. There you go. In the news, interesting stuff out there.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah. Well, uh, into some more entertaining stuff.

SPEAKER_09

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Right. Uh it's time for what's the punchline. Uh excited about this. Um, super, super excited about this. So we have some uh some videos I want to show, some videos. Um, and let's just go ahead and play the first one. Um I uh it's either it's called what? What's the title of it? You got a scroll chain link. Uh that's the second one. You have to scroll down there. Awesome lady. Um, there you go. Okay, this one's called Liar Liar Pants on Fire. Let's go ahead and play that one.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, we'll just say the first part is I like the name of it. Yeah, it's a fun name.

SPEAKER_02

It's gotta warm up.

SPEAKER_10

There we go.

SPEAKER_02

Oh shit. All right. I don't have to lift your hanging or not.

SPEAKER_03

No, no, no, I'm saying warm up, pants on fire.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Here we go. Heating up. Uh this is gonna be good. It's uh this is one of my favorite parts of the show. Uh what's the punchline?

SPEAKER_07

Say there was a man here delivering meals when all of a sudden he saw flames coming out of that window.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, man delivering something, pizza, I guess, and he not Dan the pizza man we talked about on past, but he quit. Yeah. So this guy, he saw flames coming out the window. Okay, okay. So what do you what do you think is gonna make this funny? What's the punchline to this video?

SPEAKER_10

Well, um, it's gotta be something to do with the news anchor because she's the one that I mean, she's talking about it. So like something's gonna happen with her. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you would think. Yeah, I don't know. I don't want to say what I think would be funny. It might it might not sound right. Let's just see what it is and then and then I'll say if I liked it or not.

unknown

Liar, liar, pants on fire. All right.

SPEAKER_03

I don't want to make fun of somebody. There's no flames coming out.

SPEAKER_02

And yeah, and this happened look apparently looked like back in the 90s, so I think they're doing okay.

SPEAKER_10

So somebody's lying, so either she's lying or the guy that said that there was a few.

SPEAKER_03

I want to say like she called her husband like lying, and then she set his pants on fire, soaked them in gasoline, and made him run through a There was a man here at the grain meals when all of a sudden he saw flames coming out of that window.

SPEAKER_07

Then he heard someone was still inside and he ran through the front door. Actually, my husband looked out the window and he said the house across the street was on fire. I didn't believe him because he lied so much.

SPEAKER_03

So we don't know.

SPEAKER_10

Well, we know she she's got old Trump's haircut.

SPEAKER_03

She started it. She looks like she started the farm. Oh, goodness. She said my husband said it was the house across the street was on fire, but I didn't believe him because he lies so much.

SPEAKER_10

Wow.

SPEAKER_02

That's all right. So uh going to the next one. That did not go the way I thought it was gonna go. So magic trick. Let's see what this one's about.

SPEAKER_08

Magic trick.

SPEAKER_02

Oh wow. It's kind of neat. Watch it again. Yeah, let's watch it again. It's kind of neat. I thought she was about to choke it.

SPEAKER_10

Okay, so she's got a scarf. For those people that are listening, she's got a scarf behind her neck, and she pulls it and it looks like it comes through her neck and it's looks like she decapitated her, but her head stayed on. But her head still like it's like it's kinda cool. Yeah, it's good. Kind of cool.

SPEAKER_03

It looked like a magic trick, Chad. Yeah.

SPEAKER_10

It does look like a magic trick.

SPEAKER_03

So what do you think's gonna be funny about this?

SPEAKER_10

Um I have no idea.

SPEAKER_03

That's gonna be funny is she then takes it and just wraps it around and then actually.

SPEAKER_11

Wow, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And actually we see her. Chad knows what I like. Let's see it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, let's go ahead and watch it. Yeah, that's nice. Uh-oh. Oh no. No, no, no. What are you what are you doing though? It's not people trying to copy on the internet when they see me.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, somebody's gonna get choked. I knew it. Yeah. Good one too.

SPEAKER_10

So you saw the magic trick happen, and then you see trying to do it. Murder his wife's wife disappear.

SPEAKER_03

He was like, hey.

SPEAKER_10

Right.

SPEAKER_03

But you disappear one scarf at a time, honey.

SPEAKER_10

She better not go anywhere because he's gonna be in trouble with this footage.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, wow. Yeah. That's good one.

SPEAKER_09

Wow, wow. Interesting. Yeah, okay. That's that's pretty funny. All right. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So let's go to number three. Worst water slide ever.

SPEAKER_11

Worst water slide ever. The worst.

SPEAKER_02

Worst.

SPEAKER_11

Is that John Chris?

SPEAKER_02

No. No, it's JD Vance.

SPEAKER_03

I like that you have a video of them with their both of them with their shirt on.

SPEAKER_02

Why? He's covering the lips, though. Oh, yeah, that's PG13.

SPEAKER_03

That's the Janet move. Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

This guy is coming down the water slide, and he's I like how he's trying to grab onto the scene.

SPEAKER_03

He's like keeping himself portioned from the wall, and then he's doing the Janet Jackson Justin Timberlake move from the Super Bowl.

SPEAKER_02

And everybody knows when you go down a water slide where you don't have a mat, you have to, you know, put your because you don't want your arms flaying because it hits the sides, whatever. But he's trying to balance himself. So a quick a quick story uh uh after this. So let's go ahead and um let's go ahead and watch it. Yeah, let's go ahead and hit the that's what makes it the worst. What makes it the worst?

SPEAKER_10

Oh no!

SPEAKER_02

No He went right out of it.

SPEAKER_04

I gotta see it again. Do you have too much water in there?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, you can watch it again. Yeah, and uh this place looks uh pretty happy on the like on the mountain.

SPEAKER_03

I was gonna say it doesn't look like it's just like a little fall down. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I got it.

SPEAKER_03

The person dropped the camera immediately. That lets you know how serious it is. Usually people just stand and watch. So he must have kept going that they were like, nope, we gotta help you.

SPEAKER_02

He's in trouble. I think the reason he dropped the camera is because he's trying to film what happened below.

SPEAKER_10

Maybe. Wow.

SPEAKER_02

I think the guy still hadn't hit the ground. Yeah.

SPEAKER_11

Oh my goodness.

SPEAKER_02

Where'd he go?

SPEAKER_11

That's wild.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So horrible. Uh I remember uh many many times going to Myrtle Myrtle Beach with my grandparents. They were so kind, taking us places, and uh they took us to the water slide down there, and this is back in the 80s, and before I would say a lot of the the PVC or plastic slides are put in place down there, they were all like uh these cement um That's kind of like that one. Yeah, well, yeah, it was like yeah, yes, but this was different because they didn't keep up with it, and there was chips of paint out of the water slide. And so you were on a map, and if your mat hit the unchipped part, whatever, it would your mat would stick because it would be on that rock, and then you're left on your own to dodge the rest of the rock pieces.

SPEAKER_11

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And we loved it as kids. We came with a bunch of scratches and stuff, but it was so much fun trying to dodge that. That's Gen X Gen X style right there.

SPEAKER_10

So yeah, Gen X style for sure. Because in our in my hometown in Kansas, where uh we had a water slide, and it was like this oh my goodness, there was probably like four or f I think there was four water slides, like big ones. And you know, you climb, like climb up, and but you always had like nowadays you don't even have the mats anymore because everything's like made out of like PVC or plastic or whatever, so it's safer, but it was the same deal. It was all like that concrete with the chips.

SPEAKER_02

Made out of sandpaper, yeah.

SPEAKER_10

And then you've got the the mat, foam mat, and there was no like person down in the pool like whistling up to the person at the top saying, Hey, next one can come. There was none of that, it was just the person, the 16 year old at the top, deciding when. people went or didn't long enough it's been long enough and they could be stuck they could have hit that chip paint and like got stuck and then or got knocked off your your I don't know if y'all had that happen where like it would stick and it would you would scrap no the the the slide that we went on there was nobody monitoring the slides yeah and so you were going up there and you look like oh yeah they're halfway down let's go and you would be the judgment as an eight year old to decide when you want to go.

SPEAKER_02

So of course you were patient waiting for people to go to the bottom. But what would happen more times than not is that your mat would stick and you would lose momentum because you didn't have the the you would cry your your body would cause too much friction so you would slow down on this slide and then here comes someone like a bullet coming to get you got the lock dam. They still got their mat. Yeah you got two size tens in the back of your look lumbar pushing you down.

SPEAKER_10

I mean this this water slide would be packed obviously in the summertime but in the bottom of the pool because all these slides would go to the same big pool and in the bottom of the pool and that was made out of concrete and all and it was only like maybe two and a half feet deep or three feet deep and you get down to the bottom and it would just be like mayhem where people would the people that would get stuck would get ram the other people and then there's bruises and we would leave with bruises and cuts and all kinds of stuff. But you'd also leave with memories lots of memories lots of good times sunburnt bruised broken bones at least crazy.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah you guys do not make me jealous that I didn't do water stuff when I was young no you didn't know how to swim.

SPEAKER_10

Did you do slip and slide?

SPEAKER_03

I've done one before yeah but no it wasn't something that I could say like yeah we did that all the time no I wouldn't do this I wouldn't do I think I maybe did one once oh slip and slides once?

SPEAKER_10

Really? We would tear up a slip and slide and put baby oil on it and then you just go flying.

SPEAKER_03

Baby oil yeah you put baby oil on the slip and slide did what's the next video no that was it that was the last one what's your favorite one definitely the one with the one before this okay slide yeah yeah yeah yeah that was good so you like the magic trick oh yeah which one did you like Amber?

SPEAKER_02

Um yeah I like the slip and slide okay that okay you can keep that right there for a second so yeah I'm joking that lady all right so we're now we're moving on to some serious takes all right so the first one to bring up so I just recently got to hang out with my awesome mama uh she's there in North Carolina um and she is amazing love her so much and uh I know you love her so much yes and uh she's my best hi Linda we love you and she's very sweet happy late mom mama's day because when this airs will be right after mama's day yeah so actually it's early hey um but yeah so uh my mother absolutely adores Amber she loves the socks of you uh and uh so she's very always thoughtful you know think about what I want but also she thinks even more of like what would Amber want or what amber cares about I say that in preference in context of this video I'm about to show you oh no so yeah so but um let's go ahead and play if you don't mind uh scroll up a little bit have you done I haven't done anything I haven't tell you just scroll up a little bit let's play that little that little house like all caps nope nope there you go awesome lady so before you play it this is uh uh a a hot take from a gentleman that I uh have recently followed and I shared this video with you already okay uh and he does a lot of uh comments or commentary on things that we grew up with so let's go ahead and play it okay Little House on the Prairie was like that warm chamomile tea at the end of the night and it might be some people that assume that black people don't watch Little House on the prairie au contraire my frère mad black people watch Little House on the Prairie this was my mama's favorite show when she was growing up but in the 80s and 90s this thing re-ran so much you would have thought the remote control just set it as default for when people couldn't make a decision on what to watch.

SPEAKER_05

It's one of them shows that didn't feel scheduled it just existed like the hum of the refrigerator. When I was a kid I used to be confused. I'm looking up from my toys like who are these white pilgrim looking dudes printing aggressively through this field? Why is the wind always blowing? Why do everything look itchy but two reruns was on every single day. And this was back when appointment TV was still in no streaming no I'll watch it later no on demand. Whatever was on was on. The theme music alone got embedded into our DNA you would hear it and your whole body would just automatically go, well, guess I'm folding clothes. You see Michael and his face and be like you know what let me go ahead and get somewhere and sat down rest my nerves for a little bit and that's the thing Little House wasn't even really about watching it closely. It became ambiance this show was a spiritual fabric like light and sage in TV form. You could be doing homework cooking half paying attention but the vibes are immaculate evil spirits gone nerves calm house temporarily at peace we have our own little algorithmic bubbles back then nobody was curating content you just absorbed what was on the screen and America was like let's go and watch these people struggle and here's the kicker it wasn't until I got a little older that I realized yo this show is gangster. Oh these episodes was wild crops failing kids going blind fire flags racism capitalism the bank taking the farm somebody always dying from a disease that no longer exists all out here fighting the economy with a fiddle and yet every episode ended with a lesson something about families survival help your neighbor but don't trust the railroad and if the opening thing something don't even start it on the closing thing. Lord have mercy father God it's one thing for show two things for certain can't nobody frolic like Laura if there's one thing Laura gonna do it frolic. Understand this and hear me clear whenever I'm somewhere I want to be in my mind I am frolicking right along with her. Her and that daggone doll. Did it did it yeah Little House of prairie not just because of Ram forever because it raised a whole new generation of kids that didn't choose it.

SPEAKER_10

It chose us amen amen mic drop yes you know this is my favorite Little House and prairie is my favorite show every Charles McBee you have all of them?

SPEAKER_02

SPEAKER_13

Just like John Boy What was that show?

SPEAKER_02

She is all about the John Boy The Watt I had to help her out the wall the watt was too we had to watch it I did man wow it is like North is perfect you know these little houses on the prairie is perfect yeah they had to kill their own house and prairie which is a good thing you know it's a good thing the good things happen it's a good thing the good things happen is a place that good things happen but it was always like it was there were health issues yeah but it has health issues there was all kinds of stuff going on in that show oh anyway I liked that okay I like that a girl going blind she calls a health issue okay couple of things okay hey I'm gonna say my mom here she had no idea I was recording her oh okay so I have my phone up to know now yeah yeah yeah yeah she's gonna see this she's gonna see this becomes no I mean she knows you're gonna put this on it hold on hold on hold on so I secretly I secretly recorded her oh this is a great mother's day gift yeah yeah but I showed her immediately and we were laughing about it and she's like oh Chad don't you dare show Amber this because I want I I love her. I don't want her to think that I I I was hating on her show whatever and first of all mom you look super young in that video. Yes she is uh something something years old and doesn't look like her age no huh uh she looks super young yes uh and second of all I've already preferenced that my mom loads the socks off you everything and I also preference that I secret record you and so my mom's like shoot another video shoot another video and um and play this one too so here we go here's part two all right as long as she knows we're playing these yeah she knows you ever uh watch Little Hassle on the Prairie chat have you ever watched Little House on the Prairie I have it's a great show really good it is good things and bad things happen a good show it's very healthy for the family nobody get shot oh my goodness no I get shot that'd be a horrible show now said it'd be a horrible show she said it'd be a horrible show if somebody got shot I love it she said it'd be horrible and then she turns love she better not watch gunsmoke man a lot Mama love you you are hilarious people on little house did get shot I know she said it'd be a horrible show if they did it right the thing the thing is she she didn't like the show so she didn't watch multiple episodes she didn't know what all happened right so uh but mom you're so cute and adorable and so youthful looking holy smokes she's the best she's 30?

SPEAKER_10

Yeah she's great if that yes my bad all right she's the best she didn't want to hurt my feelings dog on my favorite show you didn't write the show that wouldn't hurt your feelings they did remake the show yeah and it's supposed to be coming out I think this summer right and I just you look like somebody who would like the Anna Green Gables I did like Anna Green Gables. Not as much as Little House Little House way more way more you said I did like Anna Green Gables all four parts no but little house they're redoing and I watched a trailer for it and I just was like come on you don't like there is you just cannot it's it's Charles Ingalls you cannot Michael Landon yeah Michael Landon I mean he like that was his baby hit that show in fact did you know this little known fact about Little House on Prairie is that and I could talk about this all day long but um the set that Little House was on after they wrapped the last show and they wrapped the I mean because they did like Little House when she was little and then they did when she was older and she got married and everything but once they wrapped the entire whole universe of Little House they had the whole cast come out everybody that worked on the show come out and they blew it up. They blew up the whole set right because he said he didn't want anybody else marketing off of it or taking it and writing that part and now they're redoing it.

SPEAKER_02

Well you know in all fairness I I I don't really like a lot of remakes but in all fairness it wasn't his original story.

SPEAKER_10

I mean these are all diaries from an actual little girl so fair yes yeah but um they'll be the the one they gotta do like Anne Frank or something yeah well she's got some diaries but not as long yeah but there's only so much summy scenes you can shoot in a yeah sad the way to bring it down yeah but the but the little house the thing about little house is that yes she had her her diaries and everything which are awesome and I've read like her books and stuff so good but he also took that and expanded because there's a lot of things that are not true that happen like that are in the story or whatever. And he made this whole world his own he wrote it and made it his own and so for them to like I just cool cat I really like him.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah um but yeah okay so that that that was just a a a a serious take from a mom. So good job mom. Yeah that was awesome yeah all right so here's here's a take we can all talk about all right all right so let's say that there was a choice that you could have the power to have a pause button in life or a rewind button in life what would you choose? A pause or a rewind okay yeah um yeah if you had choose which one do you think you a pause or a rewind?

SPEAKER_10

I would a hundred percent choose a rewind. I don't know what I would use a pause button for when you s you stop.

SPEAKER_03

I guess I should ask like what what is this like if I pause I'm like everybody quits moving? Like what can I do?

SPEAKER_02

Oh yeah yeah it's like I'm freezing everybody's time except for my own think of the movie like Adam Sten like click where he's the the his kid's throwing ball with another uh kid and he moves the kid's glove down so the ball hits him in the face.

SPEAKER_08

Oh okay and then okay what about rewind?

SPEAKER_03

Like how far do I how far can it rewind?

SPEAKER_02

Well I I don't know.

SPEAKER_10

I guess a good question I think rewind a hundred percent and the reason why is because if you said something that was off color or offensive or that never happened to me. For sure and you've said something that you're just oh I wish I wouldn't have said that you rewind yeah but my mom pausing isn't gonna help that my mom would like the rewind button on the I think I would say pause.

SPEAKER_03

I wouldn't I don't want to go backwards. Yeah you wouldn't want to go backwards why would you want to pause something what would you do you can you can pause maybe if like if all the kids left the house and I was alone then I could like pause and then like nobody would ever come home again.

SPEAKER_11

Or or that would be stop that would be stop not pause.

SPEAKER_02

Check this out or you had an awesome weekend and you like you're you gotta um by your like it like he's saying by yourself you get off work and it's a Friday you push pause and you have an extremely long Friday or and you extremely long Saturday you can m use pause multiple times.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah but if you could rewind but you can do it over again.

SPEAKER_02

I know but you can do it over but you only do it for a certain amount of time pause you can have unlimited time.

SPEAKER_10

Well technically how long's a pause?

SPEAKER_02

To you unpause to you unpause it.

SPEAKER_10

Because pause and stop then what's the difference between pause and stop?

SPEAKER_02

Because it just cuts it off. Yeah stop you can't cut it back on. Oh you can't cut it back on yeah interesting so you're talking about ineff uh like an indefinite pause stop yeah I would pause because I don't want to rewind I don't want to go backwards all right I already been here's another one is it is it suspicious of people do you you find it suspicious of people when they say hey trust me before they go on to the next statement or hey when they say honestly I'm gonna be honest with you I'm gonna be honest with you does that make I hear that antenna go up or red flags like when someone goes no listen honestly because it makes me go like well then what else are because if you're saying that that means there are times you talk 100%.

SPEAKER_03

So you either have to say it all the time right or I'm only gonna believe you when you say honestly. Yes.

SPEAKER_10

If you don't say honestly then I'm like I don't know where do you think that came from though I don't know because I wonder if it came from the Bible because when Jews truly truly right when Jesus was like I really want you to pay attention and I think like the Greek to Hebrew is something like you know you need to pay attention to this truly truly.

SPEAKER_02

I think that's exactly why people say stuff like that because they want you to key in but I've been guilty of that I've said statements like that. Take it back on it.

SPEAKER_10

Right. It's like when people say things just to say things it's like when you're walking down the hall in an office and you just like hey how's your day going and then you just walk right right back.

SPEAKER_02

Shut up Judy don't do that.

SPEAKER_10

Right or like I don't do that.

SPEAKER_03

Hey how are you doing? There are people in the neighborhood that are like wave and like I have to kind like you like wave and I'm like sorry I have to like wave like I've Yeah if I don't know you then no well I mean it let's say you do know them but you're walking past them down the hall Okay have I already seen them once today.

SPEAKER_10

And you really don't have time to talk to them. Nobody has time to talk they're like just pass you're passing in a hall whether you're being in a church or you're Hey how's it going? It's like hey how's it going?

SPEAKER_02

I wouldn't do that.

SPEAKER_03

You don't have enough time to figure out if somebody says something to me I wouldn't be rude and ignore them but I'm saying like I'm not the one walking by going hey as we pass by.

SPEAKER_10

Well I'm not saying just hey I'm saying how's it going?

SPEAKER_03

That's even more any interaction out of you if you're like if you're passing somebody contact maybe a maybe a tip of a head or in my work in my job experience if if I've already seen that person that if it's the first time to see you then maybe you get like you know maybe you can get like hey what's going on you know like a but if we've already done that and like we're like we're and we're passing again no we've there's no acknowledgement. We've already done it. We've already acknowledged no acknowledgement. So you're saying is every time you pause people's path you're just supposed to hey hey hey hey you know I mean that that's I'm saying in office settings where people walk by each other they're like hey how's it going?

SPEAKER_10

But you need all the things you would walk by everyone's key so like if you're let's picture you're in an office and there's 10 right 10 different so every office you walk by you're going hey Judy hey Bob hey I get what you're saying I mean that's first time first time hey how's it going like in training in HR we would train people not to say hey how's it going you just say hey good morning something like that that's like definitive but you don't say hey how's it going because you really don't care right how's it going.

SPEAKER_03

I I take these examples in my regular life like I'll in you know I will answer questions in a way that kind of where you're not gonna ask me another question. Right. You know a really good way to do that is like always like thanking them. Ah whatever they do you know if they do say oh like someone hey how's your day oh my day's been going great thank you for asking and that kind of shuts down like oh so we're not going any further.

SPEAKER_10

That's true. That's good. That's a good way to do it.

SPEAKER_03

Okay thanks for asking I would say when I walk I would say hey hope you have a great day the there's no I don't like to fib always though because depending on who I'm talking to I may not hope that they have a great day or I'm not saying that hope they have a bad I'm I'm just I'm saying I may not hope that they do.

SPEAKER_02

So all right well I wish we could rewind that I know put a pause in it um should there should there be any age limits to using slang which way that's what I'm saying like going up or down right so like there have been instances just so and it I know you're not supposed to provoke your children um but there's sometimes as parents or fathers that you kind of poke a little bit I'll find out a word that's the all the cool kids are saying and I'll use it in context and it just oh you can see the cringy when you do it right yeah yeah yeah yeah well I'm gonna have to say I don't agree with that and here's why is because it's not about age it's about person because our children they when you use slang word they don't bat an eye they usually don't make fun of you at all.

SPEAKER_10

If I say it they're like Mom what are you doing? You can I was like dad says it well he can pull it off I can't like that and so they don't really get on you. It's more me.

SPEAKER_02

I think here's the reason I can pull it off is because you're very mature you're classy I'm not so much I got a 12 year old and living inside of me constantly so right now he's at 100%. Yeah he's he's he's nailed every one of those yeah so that's why that's why it doesn't it does it come off weird if it was coming out of your mouth if you said like that we were capping after this episode you're cooking after this episode what'd you say I don't think I'll expect food if you say that.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah right the other day they were like oh just stop I don't think there's an age on it you know I think the rule I think a good ru I don't necessarily abide by this but I think this maybe would solve a little bit is if you only you're only allowed to use the slang that you used or that was popular when you were we'll say uh 13 sure to uh let's say like 19 you know whatever that whatever the slang was then you can use that slang and people can't make fun of you. Right but when you try to operate outside of what's yours. Sure. Okay. So meaning like younger youth couldn't tell us well you can't use the word psych just like I can't tell them they can't Right. That would be some kind of relationship.

SPEAKER_10

So I could go around saying as if and I don't look weird.

SPEAKER_03

Well if it was from your age from your age range. Yeah, I think your age range, some of the sayings were stuff probably like holy cow.

SPEAKER_09

I'm G Willakers my phone at both of you.

SPEAKER_03

Swell. I'm sorry, anything that you would see in the old Batman machine.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe agreeing with you, maybe agree with you, maybe disagree with you, but I think it's like if it fits with your personality. Yes, I think that's but like if it it just it is a it comes across disingenuous when you're trying to force something in there. Right.

SPEAKER_10

Like it comes across like a news anchor that is saying like Nicaragua.

SPEAKER_02

What is it?

SPEAKER_10

Nicaragua or whatever.

SPEAKER_02

Get closer to the mic.

SPEAKER_11

I'm not getting in that.

SPEAKER_02

Got you in 4K.

SPEAKER_09

I'm not even gonna say it like that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

No, that's gonna be one clue. Two words, I feel like. I mean it's a one word.

SPEAKER_10

I don't know, but I don't know what you're trying to say. It's like news acres trying to say other countries and they say it in like the native language, but they're they're definitely not from there.

SPEAKER_04

Gotcha.

SPEAKER_10

It's the same kind of thing, right?

SPEAKER_09

It's like I'm I'm trying to say, if I try to talk like my children, then it just looks like the problem is usually you use it in the wrong spot.

SPEAKER_03

And then they feel like you're old and you're trying to use their saying. So I think we should be able to use ours. And some of ours, I don't necessarily know that they know what it means. Well, here's the thing. I could use some slang with my kids that they probably would be like, What are you saying? And I'll be like, Well, this is this is what we said when I was a kid.

SPEAKER_02

So slang like the bet that you just mentioned a while ago, that was used when we were kids. And the kids.

SPEAKER_03

Not only when Amber was kids when we were kids. Right.

SPEAKER_08

Stop.

SPEAKER_10

She hates that doesn't say just because I like Little House on the Prairie doesn't mean that I live during Little House on the Prairie.

SPEAKER_09

Oh man. Ridiculous.

SPEAKER_03

That's how she knew they were.

SPEAKER_02

Oh she was there.

SPEAKER_09

Oh no.

SPEAKER_03

It was a heartbreaking day for her.

SPEAKER_09

I'm about to come at you. Woo.

SPEAKER_02

No, those are good.

SPEAKER_09

Yeah, you are cooked. Those are good cooked.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. This is serious.
