Getting ready back to school's coming up.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Oh goodness. Rampant for that. Oh yeah. And did you ever get excited for back to school?
SPEAKER_08Yes.
SPEAKER_05Not near one time.
SPEAKER_08I got excited every time.
SPEAKER_05Like leading up to it, I was like, man, summer's gone. And and that means that I gotta go back to school and everything. But then I started thinking about the night before. I was like, oh, I'll get to see such and such and such and such and such and such. And I was like, that's kind of cool.
SPEAKER_08And I was, you know, and I was so looking forward to it. But I liked school. I liked being at school. I liked studying. I liked hanging out, doing all the clubs and all the things. I thought it was so fun. That's great. And we always got to get like new clothes for school.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I did like that. Like the first day you get to wear your new Jordans and you're like, yeah, I got my fives.
SPEAKER_08So fun having all the new clothes for school.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I remember that. Going shopping. And yeah, that wasn't that fun though. Going, I mean, I love my mom, but when you you get to a certain age where you don't want your parents to go shopping with you anymore, and they're in the dressing room with you, and they're putting their finger in like the uh wayside to see if it's gonna fit. And they're shouting really loud.
SPEAKER_08Like, hey, yeah, you need more room in the crotch or whatever. Like they're just shouting.
SPEAKER_06That's what I would say shout at. Yeah, that's what yeah. That's yeah, that's I was never I was never going with I'm like, can we get these any tighter? That was not the that was never a problem. It was always me. Like more room. She's like, these are too baggy. And I'm like, no, I'm gonna need some more room.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, yeah. We were like what we did is that my mom would say that she would match up to so much money. Like we would we would work all summer and we would have like we would put money towards school clothes, and then my my mom would match what we would up to so much money. So then we would like be able to go, and it was really cool because we get to go to Wichita, Kansas, and buy our clothes at the mall. That's where everybody goes.
SPEAKER_05That's where it has all the that's where we went to get my school clothes.
SPEAKER_06We went to Wichita Kansas.
SPEAKER_05Of course. Fashion shows are in Wichita, aren't they? Mm-hmm. Wichita. I don't know. They're just called shows there. Oh yeah. I think they're called rodeos.
SPEAKER_08No, Wichita's where they make all the they made all the airplanes.
SPEAKER_05No, Wichita's where that big tornado came through and killed the old lady. No, she didn't die. She they saved her in the house. What? The documentary? Remember that? He's talking about uh and all those little people came out. No, I'm talking about the window. Well, Bill Paxton played the the uh part um in the documentary in uh Helen Hunt and they played that uh documentary the by the whatever the true accounts and what's his name tightly tightly based on uh true story.
SPEAKER_08What's the other guy's name?
SPEAKER_06And the the the guy he got a gobl uh got a golden globe for the starring in that movie was the wind.
SPEAKER_08The wind, the chimes, the chimes to ball when they tie themselves to that bar during the tornado like comes through and everything goes apart. Yeah, they're just swinging in the wind, holding on to that bar like that would happen. They'd be like smack, smack, smack, smack against the ground.
SPEAKER_06Like the Hulk with Loki.
SPEAKER_08Yes.
SPEAKER_06Were you there?
SPEAKER_08Yes, I was. I was a writer on that uh documentary.
SPEAKER_05You did a good job then, because it's a true account. Congratulations.

We have Jared Chambus on the show, my best pal. He's uh uh an amazing dude, got a lot of kids, and uh he does a lot of stuff uh for uh comedy, like writing and acting and uh making me laugh. And um Leanne is uh, you know, came to Nashville for music, country artists, amazing, talented singer, um, songwriter. Um, Anthony also singer songwriter, but he was a professional boxer, still is a professional boxer.
SPEAKER_05He's won a couple fights here.
SPEAKER_08Late and he was a contestant on The Contender, um, which was a show that Sylvester Salone and Sugar Ray Leonard does.
SPEAKER_05He was on the first season.
SPEAKER_08First season. Yep. Yep.
SPEAKER_05Yep, that's right.
SPEAKER_08We have known them for years. They're very good friends of ours. And we actually have partnered with them before in business with our production company, Dad Chavis Productions, helping them out with some things that they do on social media. But check them out, they are amazing, they've got pure hearts, awesome. They do so much here in the Nashville area, outreach, uh, Ring of Faith Ministries. Big shout out. Everybody give a big punch.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. Wow. Man, I actually years ago, uh my uh my baby mama and I were on the the Ring of Faith. We were down there. They they treated us very well. That's cool on the show. It was very cool to it was actually more for her for the music thing. I was just uh just there like uh behind the scenes. I'm not I wasn't on the podcast, but I was there while we uh they treat their guests top notch. Yeah, very nice people. Love Anthony.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, I was on there. Um an author and I I was promoting my book years ago um on there, and I mean they just treat it.
SPEAKER_06They've been doing it for a long time. They've been doing this for a good minute, doing good work, doing the Lord's work, I'd say.
SPEAKER_07Yeah, absolutely.
SPEAKER_05Anthony is such a uh a cool dude. I love him. And uh the supercoopers, and uh Anthony is extremely funny as well. He's he's got that dry sense of humor. He'll he has a little what we call throwaways or one-liners. Yeah. Uh Jesus quick too. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, yeah. He's got amazing testimony. He does. And uh, if you don't know Jesus, you're about to know Jesus if Anthony's around. That's for certain.
SPEAKER_06I think he actually told their story on the uh Lit 86.
SPEAKER_05That's right. Yeah, we got to film him on Lit 86, and he was out there.

SPEAKER_08A couple episodes ago that we talked about um Lit 86 and Choose Different Media and Crossover, Anthony was actually on Lit 86, the TV show that we um our production company did. So yeah, just amazing. We are blessed to know a lot of amazing Christian artists, but if you know a Christian creative that you want us to give a shout out to, maybe that they are in ministry or they don't have to be. Maybe they own their own business or they are an artist, a songwriter, a uh video producer, or a candlestick maker. Candlestick maker. SPEAKER_08Some news. Is it news? All right. So last week was all about animals, but this week we got some crazy news going on. We got the video um of the loudest shouter.

SPEAKER_08This guy is now the loudest. I guess he's the loudest shouter, so you decide. Welcome to Canada. Guinness World Records.

SPEAKER_06Sounds like a white Lorjan.
SPEAKER_00I've been winning some uh town crying competitions, but um I thought, what can I do that's a little bit different? So I turned to the Guinness World Record book. It took me seven attempts just for one word, which was the word now. And um now uh my voice was shot uh for the uh the next couple of days as well. I like it was husky, uh was terrible.
SPEAKER_08I've never described my voice as husky, but there you go.
SPEAKER_05Or my pants size.
SPEAKER_08He had a husky voice. So he this man won the husky section loudest person in the Guest Book of World Record.
SPEAKER_05His decimals how loud he was shouting. I don't think they've uh measured a whole lot of people then. I've known some loud people.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, there are some loud people.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, my daughters can get the high-pitched scream, like if there's a spider or something in the sink or something, they can hit some they can hit some high notes. Okay.
SPEAKER_05I wonder how they it was it like uh one of those meters, like a yeah, it was the decibel. That's what they did.
SPEAKER_08Like him shouting. It wasn't like screaming, but like him shouting, the world's loudest shouter. So like he's shouting like I gotcha.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, not screamer, not screamer, but shouter, not yeller, not yelling, not yodeler, not yodeler or yeller.
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_05Not screaming, but shouter. Well bragging rights. Sure. To whom?
SPEAKER_08You get to be at like Ripley's believe it or not, right?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, is that something that you I'd go to every party and that's what I'd leave with. Hey, guess what? I'm in the Guinness Book.
SPEAKER_08You just carry around the book?
SPEAKER_06Yeah. How many names are there in that book?
SPEAKER_08Check this out!

SPEAKER_06I'm saying do you think there's probably over a like 5,000 records? Oh, I would say probably more. So I'm saying so. Your name is in there with a There are records for everything. Like That's what I mean. I don't I don't think it's that prestigious, is what I'm saying.
SPEAKER_08Over 53,000.
SPEAKER_06So your name is in there with 53,000 other people?
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Which on the planet is like a small I'd rather see my name in the uh maybe the Book of Life or something rather than uh Yeah, the Land's Book of Life. Yeah, that one's pretty. Yeah, I'd like to That's important. I'd rather see my name in that one.
SPEAKER_05You show up to the Great Throne judgment, you gotta look what I'm in.
SPEAKER_06I'm in the Guinness Book, and then he's flipping through and he goes, Well, you're not in this one. And you're like, but this one, and then like there's a button where you just figure it out, and then you show you show somebody else that he was like, come in, we like that book. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Wow, that went dark because it's called a flame kissed.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I just think there's that's a lot of people to be in the to be like 53,000.
SPEAKER_08It's a lot of people, right?
SPEAKER_06I mean, my name isn't in that 53,000, but still, hmm.
SPEAKER_08Okay, let me let me ask you this question. How badly do you want to get somewhere quickly?
SPEAKER_05Oh, now like I should be there now.
SPEAKER_08You should be there now. So, like if you I'm impatient. You're impatient. So, would you want to get somewhere so quickly that you'd be willing to drive on this road?
SPEAKER_06Oh wow.
SPEAKER_08This bridge?
SPEAKER_06Where's the bridge taking me?
SPEAKER_08Okay, so this bridge is in Greece. Okay. And this people will take this shortcut just to save time.
SPEAKER_05How much time?
SPEAKER_08I don't know how much time, but people are taking the shortcut for this bridge. The bridge is broken, but they're having a challenge preventing people from driving on this bridge.
SPEAKER_05Which is well, I mean, could they not just block it off with like the road barriers?
SPEAKER_08Yeah. That's what I think. It's like, okay, have have you ever seen those bridges in um like the keys, the Florida Keys? Yeah. There's a bridge, like there's a movie a long time ago called True Lies with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
SPEAKER_04I remember that movie.
SPEAKER_08Right, okay. They filmed one of the like the movie.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the end scene where they're driving down.
SPEAKER_08But if you drive down like the Florida Keys, I can't remember the name of that highway, but it it connects all the Florida Keys. But if you look off to the side, you see that other bridge that like is a bridge to nowhere because it just drops off. But they blocked it off. Like, there's no way that you could drive on that bridge. Like it's completely blocked off. So this makes me like one of the things.
SPEAKER_06I mean, the only thing I can figure is they're just putting block. They're putting like cones up, and then people are just like That's what's happening. Yeah, they're not putting up an actual barricade or right. I mean, it'll just one person will go in and and then they'll have to shut it down.
SPEAKER_08And then it's just gonna collapse. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Would you okay, would like, you know, they always tell you, don't drive in like around here in Tennessee, don't drive if you see it's flooded.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, turn around before you drown.
SPEAKER_08Right. And so, but people just like oh, I just I gotta get there, I gotta get there, and then they go through and then they drown.
SPEAKER_05I just were like, I gotta be there immediately. I mean, I don't I'm not gonna drive through like a body of water, and I don't think I'm gonna drive on that bridge. Now, if it was now granted, if it was some kind of emergency, I'm talking about like Life or Death. Yeah, life or death. Think about like it's um Dante's Peak, all right? Other side is hilarious. Is the volcano erupting and this is the only bridge out. Oh yeah. I mean, we're taking that. You know, I'm taking that. But if it's like an my daily, my daily drive to get to wherever we're gonna go, I don't know, man. That seems like uh too exaggerated. I mean, I can I can drive the extra 15, 20 minutes.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, depending on how long it was. If it was like an hour, oh yeah, just about like an hour, what I would do is is if like I'd call work and say, like, hey, I'm running late because the bridge is out, I would I would take the out bridge and go park somewhere for an hour and hang out and then just tell them like I'm having to go around. Yeah, every day the bridge is out again. Bridge is out, I'm gonna have to just I would go sit in the park.
SPEAKER_08Okay. Didn't you talk about the book of life earlier?
SPEAKER_06About okay. Yeah, I'd probably be reading something to get in there. Okay. Getting that book and that extra hour.
SPEAKER_08Interesting. So, um, have you ever been in a situation where you've driven and water starts coming in the car?
SPEAKER_06Never.
SPEAKER_08Because I I had a friend of mine when when I was in Kansas and we were driving, and my friend was just like, We got this, and it was like the water was like, you know, pretty high, and we're driving in the car, and we were like in a Mustang, and the water starts coming into the car, and then he just like slammed on the gas and and we got out of there and it it receded, but I was freaking out because the water's coming into the car.
SPEAKER_05That's not a good situation. No, I you're you're close to floating at that point if it's getting into the car. Right.
SPEAKER_08So Yeah, that's stupid. Yeah, yeah, that's pretty stupid.
SPEAKER_05And what will happen typically with sports cars like that, they're gonna get flooded because they're low profile.
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_05So yeah, I'm surprised that we're real low profile. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, so yeah, I don't know. It's kind of crazy.
SPEAKER_06That's wild you would drive across it, but right.
SPEAKER_08Okay, last week we talked about like old men, but this is an interesting story. So too old for street racing? Do you think somebody's too old to for street racing? No.
SPEAKER_05Well, apparently not slow in the curious.
SPEAKER_08Slow in the curious. That's what I said. Oh, did you say curious?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, slow and the curious.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. Uh delirious. 85-year-old driver clocked going 110 miles per hour miles per hour, accused of street racing.
SPEAKER_06Accused of street racing.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. Because a 57-year-old guy was um was was also charged. They were racing each other. This 57-year-old and this 85-year-old were racing.
SPEAKER_07Who won?
SPEAKER_08Yeah. I think they got stopped.
SPEAKER_04But they were who stopped first?
SPEAKER_08It says they were both they were both facing charges of street racing and dangerous speeding more than 50 miles per hour.
SPEAKER_06Wow. More than 50 miles per hour.
SPEAKER_08Over the speed limit.
SPEAKER_06Oh, was the speed limit 50?
SPEAKER_08Yeah, because they were going like 110.
SPEAKER_06Oh my goodness. They were flying.
SPEAKER_08They were flying. So yeah. Both men deny that they were racing against each other. Of course they did.
SPEAKER_06The police said that somebody told them that that the Corvette wasn't capable of reaching speeds that high. Oh wow. The Corvette can't get 110? Yeah. It's not. I think my Kia's got 160 on the dash. Why can the Corvette not go 110? I don't know. That's ridiculous.
SPEAKER_08But can you imagine like an older like street racing?
SPEAKER_05I've had some cars, some had the restrictor plate on it. Well, I I've I've drived some um Jalopies before where they they weren't getting above like 60. Right. Was any of them a Corvette? No. Okay. No. No.
SPEAKER_08I don't know. I just for the very first time saw that Fast and Furious movie the other day. Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_06There's like nine of them.
SPEAKER_08It was the first one.
SPEAKER_06It's a good movie.
SPEAKER_08So yeah, our son was like watching something and it was like, what is this? And he said the Fast and Furious. And I started watching this, so this is ridiculous.
SPEAKER_06If you I mean they're all about the almost the same. And you know, there's racing. I like it. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I guess. Yeah, I'm not really into it.
SPEAKER_05There might be a chase scene or two in there.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, there was a couple of chasings.
SPEAKER_05Maybe a fight. Like fighting.
SPEAKER_08While they're chasing each other, they're fighting and they're fighting over girls.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, there's gonna be a love interest. Yeah. And there's gonna be some kind of drug pen, drug kingpin, or some um like uh uh undercover agent or something.
SPEAKER_08Yeah.
SPEAKER_05That's pretty much the scroll. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08I'll tell you what, there's not an 85-year-old man going 110 miles an hour.
SPEAKER_06Well, wait till you see nine. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08That's what that's what number nine's all about.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it gets older every time.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, and it's a Van Diesel and he's 85.
SPEAKER_06Progresses to him 85.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, he's in a walker.
SPEAKER_06I think one of them they went to space. I'm serious. They race to the moon.
SPEAKER_08They do not know. Are you serious? I am serious.
SPEAKER_06I believe so. One of them went to space.
SPEAKER_08Ridiculous. They went they went to nursing home.
SPEAKER_06They race to the moon and back.
SPEAKER_08They race to the nursing home.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, touch it.
SPEAKER_08I thought that was kind of interesting. Do y'all know? Okay, what's in the news big right now is daylight savings.
SPEAKER_05They talk about this every year.
SPEAKER_08They talk about it every year, but Congress has just passed that daylight savings time was voted on and it passed. Now it goes to the Senate.
SPEAKER_07Oh.
SPEAKER_08And they've got to decide, but here's the deal. How is that going to affect? Because there's a thing called daylight savings time and standard savings time. So watch this video on this.
SPEAKER_02I like their latest technology. Tennessee is one of several states that's already passed a law to make the switch, but only if Congress acts. Peter Algus, Alex Libby joining us now in studio to explain what's the next in Tennessee.
SPEAKER_03Alex for most of the year guys it doesn't really change anything because we already practiced daylight saving time from March all the way through October. But in the winter time, November, December, January, February, March, and April, we'll go from standard time and we'll stay dirt permanent daylight saving time. And here in Nashville, that means our sunrises and sunsets will be later, which many people are excited for a later sunset in the afternoon instead of a 432 of our earliest sunset, it will be at 532. Much more manageable. But the sunrise will also be later. So we won't see the sun during those shortest days of the year until almost eight o'clock in the morning. Really not even the worst part of the area. So here's the earliest sunset times. They'll be as late as 5.44 or as early as 5.44 in Memphis, but the they'll be as late as 6.21 in Knoxville. Now the sunrise, though, is what a lot of people are kind of concerned about. So in Nashville, our latest sunrise will be at 7.58 in the morning, almost 8 a.m. But in Knoxville, almost 9 o'clock in the morning, you won't see the sun. And it gets worse as you can. If you go up and park in North Dakota in Montana, if this becomes if daylight saving times becomes permanent year-round, they won't see the sun until 10 o'clock in the morning. Back to you.

SPEAKER_08I don't know, but the whole thing is when we moved here, so I lived in Texas and Kansas, and then we lived in North Carolina where we met and moved from North Carolina over here and all those places Kansas, Texas, North Carolina, I had never experienced Jared's yawning. I never experienced anything like Nashville like in the fall.
SPEAKER_05You've been here your entire life, so here you still have to do it.
SPEAKER_08The sun setting at 4 30 in the afternoon is the craziest thing I've ever experienced.
SPEAKER_05So just imagine you you've been here all your life and it's setting at 4 32 in the fall all the time, but then you move to North Carolina and it starts setting at 6 30 every time. You're like, wow, this is kind of cool.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. Well, even if you drive down to Chattanooga. Like if you drive down to Chattanooga, um, that when we go visit our daughter down there, like it's like the sun is setting up.
SPEAKER_05Oh, now it's like it's like almost after nine.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, it's like almost ten o'clock at night, and you just can see the sun.
SPEAKER_05I love it.
SPEAKER_08It's awesome.
SPEAKER_06We were in Germany for about a month in uh Rammstein, and like my sister-in-law had uh windows that like did not let sunlight in because the the amount of time that they have for day is longer. So it'd be like nine o'clock at night, but it looks like it's daylight, so they have like special blinds that you could black out curtains and whatnot.
SPEAKER_08Alaska they have to do that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, because it wasn't uh depending on what time of year or whatever, it's like you're it's still daylight enough.
SPEAKER_08Right.
SPEAKER_05I I actually heard something very interesting about sleeping patterns here recently.
SPEAKER_07Okay.
SPEAKER_05So um man, I'm trying to think of the the reference where I got this from, but it was a credible reference. I I saw a video on it and it was it wasn't like some jabroni there making a video, it was like some kind of educational whatever. Um, but they were talking about a normal sleep patterns uh as you know before all the daylight savings time and all the stuff that was implemented, and before people would go to nine to five jobs, that you would go to bed for three to four hours, and then you would wake up for a couple hours, and then you go to back to bed for three to four hours. Okay. And then in that middle of the night, it was it was it called a certain time, and in the Bible it references that too. I mean, I have to find that. Yeah, it's really cool. That's interesting. Um, but um it it talks about that in the Bible how that there's something uh where people would I forgot the term. Yeah, I don't know. Rats, all you biblical scholars out there, chime in, let me know.
SPEAKER_08Well, in um a lot of countries, a lot of cultures, they like like in Spanish cultures, they have siestas because it's so hot that they'll take a break in the middle of the day and take a nap. When I went to Egypt or that at all. Well, when I went to Egypt, that's what they did because of the desert. I know, I know. Like they would like in the middle of the day, so like from like two o'clock, like three-ish, yeah, like you go, you leave work, and then from three until like five or six at night, like you are taking a break, you're taking a nap, you're resting, and then they don't eat until like eat supper until like nine or ten at night because the sun goes down.
SPEAKER_05Right, and they also don't work like the five days a week either, typically. Um like the uh daily work. I think four.
SPEAKER_06Right or sometimes. Yeah.
SPEAKER_05But they break it up, I don't know.
SPEAKER_06You know I used to go to work very early, and since I haven't been doing that, sometimes I will wake up still at like you know three, two or three in the morning. Oh. And if I get up and then just do some dishes or do something, and then I go lay back down. I still get like, you know, a couple hours where no one's awake and I get a couple things done. Yeah. That'll be good for you.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Um but anyways, I I I found that interesting about the normal sleep patterns, and that's how our our wired or have been wired. Anyway.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, it says something about how uh biblical was um daytime work is based on twelve equal hours. So I don't know.
SPEAKER_05I have to find that maybe I'll find that real and uh um show everybody.
SPEAKER_08Let us know, and I'd like to know um also any of you listening or watching, what do you think about this daylight savings time? Do you think that we should stay in savings time, which is what we are right now, or go ahead and fall back, and then that's called standard time. Should we do that or that, or should we just keep doing this? Or what do you think?
SPEAKER_05I like that idea, and here's why, because I I do a lot of my work and stuff in the morning uh and in the afternoon, and then when I'm ready to kind of kick back and kick it and relax, whatever, I like to have more sunlight if I'm at home. Instead of like if all right, my work day's ending and it's at four o'clock and I see the sun dipping down the sky. Yeah, I'm like, oh man, yeah, exactly.
SPEAKER_08Yeah, it's hard when you go to work and it's dark outside and you come home and it's dark outside.

He wants to have everyone around so you can count knows where everyone's out. He's got some kind of ship in him. But so we hold the dogs and Zeke would go around the house, or the kids would go in the house, and they would hide and the dogs would go find him.
SPEAKER_08And if we would say, Hey, we're gonna play hide and zeke, that Tux, our our dog, would go straight to the bathroom and he would just wait there because he knew that we were gonna go. No, he'd go to the bathroom and I'd shut the door and I would count to 30, and then I would let him out.
SPEAKER_05But and and here's the good news is and we could be sitting right now, I'm like, hey, go find Zeke. And he would just go wow. Oh, he would find him. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Even if he wasn't here. Well, he'd go looking for him. He'd be up at In and Out.
SPEAKER_08He'd be running running around.
SPEAKER_06But yeah, so uh he looks innocent. I think he's gonna hide something though that he's not supposed to be hiding, like maybe car keys or something. Yeah, he looks like a complete angel.

SPEAKER_06I would do that. I would tell the lady that, as long as she conveyed that to the gentleman that's gonna work. How about this? You pull up, you're ready to pick your car up.
SPEAKER_05You pull up and get your car, you're gonna get your car right. And you go to the counter, like, hey, I'm here from a car. Like, oh yeah, they're pulling her around right now. She's just she's just finished up a couple things. You're like, what? You look out in the gar garage and they're they're lowering the car and closing it, and she gets in. Oh, if they were lowering it, I would go, I'll I'll pull it out.

SPEAKER_06I was giving you some opportunities, man. I wouldn't take it away. Not all those, and I looked at them as I walked by. Yeah, yeah. Not near narrow one. And I would say if if a woman came out like in a mechanic suit and maybe she had grease on her face, or I would be like, okay, then but that lady did not look like she had been in that position. SPEAKER_05Okay, I'm gonna tell you a story. I used to work at a Goodyear, and this is in uh Carey, North Carolina, off Harrison Avenue.
SPEAKER_08Oh my goodness.
SPEAKER_05There's a Goodyear there, and the owner of the store, I don't think he owns it anymore. He might own it uh still, but his name was Vito Basonia. Okay. That's a great name. Shout out Vito. And he he was a very sweet guy, very nice guy. Uh, and uh he was the boss, and he just ran the the Goodyear and um major sales and tires and other auto mechanics and stuff. So I got a job there, and I started changing oil, changing tires, hoses, brakes, and I started working my way up, and then I started uh repairing brakes. So taking off the you know the rotors and putting resetting the calibers and putting um the brake pads on, turning the rotors. This is when you used to turn you could turn the rotors. What I mean by that is just like this little metal thing that was shave off a little bit of your rotors to make them even. It was a little process, and it was it was very tedious. Um so I did all that, and um, and I had done it multiple times. Okay, and I was you know, I it comes muscle memory. Well, there was this one caravan that I did, and I did all that stuff I just described, and I put everything back together and um put lowered the vehicle down and I started up the van and I forgot one key step. The key step is you gotta put air in the lines to put brake fluid to the calipers to push in the pads on the rotor because if you don't, the brake pads stay there and there's nothing to keep the wheels from not rolling. Oh no. So I went right out of the bay, backwards, all the way around to on the front of the parking lot, had multiple people in the shop, technicians running, going, ah, they're yelling, and what they're yelling is throw it in park, throw it in the park. But I'm I can't hear them because I'm yelling, ah! And I finally throw it in park. And uh it wouldn't stop. I wouldn't stop, but uh I did not wreck it.
SPEAKER_08That's I was like mater.

SPEAKER_05I was like mater.
SPEAKER_08That's a miracle that you didn't wreck it.
SPEAKER_05Uh a hundred and thousand percent.

SPEAKER_05That's what I did. I said he I sold tires, but what I did actually was I went to go pick up patrons and then uh I did fill up the little candy jar. Yeah, and uh I'm sure um I went out, uh it said sell tires, but I went out and got the numbers from the tires and told the other guy.
SPEAKER_08Yeah. That's amazing that he didn't fire you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_06That is cool that you didn't wreck it, though.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Yeah, that's the thing is is that I have done multiple times. I mean, it was I probably had multiple horrible things. No, no, no, no, no, no. Mul multiple cars, like multiple brake jobs. And now it was successful. Yes. Boom, boo, boom, boom. Yeah, exactly. One mistake. Yeah.
SPEAKER_08That's what a pilot says, right?
SPEAKER_06One time. So I put everything back in him, but I did forget his heart. Yeah. One time.
SPEAKER_08Right. I'm a great pilot, except for that one time.
