The Breakthrough Collective

Traci Swain is a multi-faceted storyteller, creative director, and host of The Breakthrough Collective podcast. She creates space for authentic conversations that spark transformation and help listeners get unstuck and move forward with achieving their goals. 

Born and raised in the South Bronx with summers in Talladega, Alabama, Traci’s love of storytelling began at age 12 through creative writing courses. Her decade-plus career in publishing helped foster joy in reading for countless students, while her work as a creative director and producer brings stories to life across multiple platforms. 

Traci is the author of Finding a Friend, a teacher favorite that encourages reading while teaching empathy, inclusion, and kindness. When she’s not creating content, Traci is traveling, spending time with family and friends, and checking off her bucket list—her biggest feat being climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.
