SPEAKER_00:Why you don't like cereal? I'm trying to figure out.
SPEAKER_02:I don't know.
SPEAKER_00:You don't have one that you like, so that's why you don't.

SPEAKER_02:For real?
SPEAKER_00:I sure did.
SPEAKER_02:Do they taste the same like back in the day?
SPEAKER_00:To me, they do. Okay.
SPEAKER_02:Well, mine is going to be a cereal for this week. From 1983 to 1988, they made a cereal called Pac-Man. It was a cereal. It was the same thing as, like, a Lucky Charms, but it was, like, the Pac-Man figures, and
SPEAKER_00:he had the marshmallows. Oh, it's a fake Lucky Charms. You could just eat
SPEAKER_02:Lucky Charms. Nah, but, you know, back then, Pac-Man was big. The video game, Ms. Pac-Man, and, you
SPEAKER_00:know... gonna start eating cereal?
SPEAKER_02:Nah, you know what I really want to do? I want to collect cereal boxes.
SPEAKER_00:Don't you got enough collections?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, but I want to collect like old, like cereal boxes. Remember this? Remember the Mr. T cereal?
SPEAKER_00:Where would you even find those? Um, they're
SPEAKER_02:around.
SPEAKER_00:You would have to get it from someone else who collected it?
SPEAKER_02:Be a collector, yeah. Okay. I don't know, it's just, I did a photo shoot with different cereals at one time and ever since then I was like, I'm obsessed with seeing boxes now of cereal boxes.
SPEAKER_00:They did have some cool boxes back in the day.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. The toys inside.
SPEAKER_00:All right. When I be yard selling, if I see a whole collection of cereal boxes, I'll let you know.
SPEAKER_02:You know me. If you yard selling, if you see cell phones.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, I see cell phones all the time. You ain't told me that.
SPEAKER_02:Boom boxes. Well, you did call me on
SPEAKER_00:one. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:CDs. I just got some stuff a couple weeks ago somewhere I picked up. Some 45s.
SPEAKER_00:They be having the goods at the yard sales.
SPEAKER_02:Yep, those estate sales and yard sales. But that's my snack for the week. Pac-Man cereal. It was created in 1983 and it lasts to 1988. He
SPEAKER_00:be having all the years and stuff. I don't do all that. I just tell y'all what it is. He's so professional.
SPEAKER_01:Nah, that
SPEAKER_02:ain't it.
SPEAKER_00:Well, I'm going to go into my My snack is Fun Fruit. From Sunkiss They were like little Oh
SPEAKER_02:yeah They were shaped like fruits But they were
SPEAKER_00:Yeah like little fruit snacks Little gummy fruit They got
SPEAKER_02:that now
SPEAKER_00:They're not fun fruits though
SPEAKER_02:It tastes
SPEAKER_00:different? It tastes different Oh okay
SPEAKER_02:You know the year?
SPEAKER_00:No I sure don't
SPEAKER_02:So do they make it now?
SPEAKER_00:No they don't make them no more
SPEAKER_02:Oh my gosh I just remembered I forgot something Last week we talked about Tang
SPEAKER_00:I don't want no Tang
SPEAKER_02:And I was gonna bring the Tang today I don't want no Tang
SPEAKER_00:Why you even got Tang?
SPEAKER_02:No, I was going to go and get Tang.
SPEAKER_00:I don't even think they make Tang. They do. I haven't seen Tang.
SPEAKER_02:It's in a, you know, plastic bottle now.
SPEAKER_00:I'm good. Dang, I forgot. I told you, if you wanted to get something, get me some Kool-Aid.
SPEAKER_02:Nah, Tang, same thing. I was going to do it on the air and all that. I
SPEAKER_00:don't want no Tang.
SPEAKER_02:You making it into a Fear Factor episode. I don't want no Kool-Aid Tang. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00:Fruit snacks. Fun fruits.
SPEAKER_02:I remember those. You remember those the shark bites?
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_02:And they had the great white the great white shark in there.
SPEAKER_00:It was white and blue. Yep. Come on, man. They don't make the good stuff like they used to. It probably
SPEAKER_02:wasn't even good. We probably just eat it because we
SPEAKER_00:were kids. My fun fruits was good. I always had to have those in my lunchbox.
SPEAKER_02:See, I didn't have a lunchbox. I didn't.
SPEAKER_00:You didn't have the little old joint, you know, you do the little silver thing and latch it. You didn't have one of those?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, the one with the Dukes of Hazzard
SPEAKER_00:on it or something? It had like different characters.
SPEAKER_02:The Mr. T? I had the Mr. T one.
SPEAKER_00:I think I had Strawberry Shortcake.
SPEAKER_02:You probably did. With the thermos
SPEAKER_00:inside?
SPEAKER_02:Mm-hmm. Dang, that was 82 to like 84 I might have did that.
SPEAKER_00:Those were the good old days.
SPEAKER_02:The metal The metal one or the plastic
SPEAKER_00:one? The metal one. I had the metal one at first and then I switched to a plastic.
SPEAKER_02:I don't know if I had the metal one. That might have been too old for me.
SPEAKER_00:Maybe. Oldie but goodie.
SPEAKER_02:I had the plastic one with the thermos.
UNKNOWN:Okay.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I think I might.
SPEAKER_00:The good old days.
SPEAKER_02:Yep, yep. All right, well, you want to get into it?
SPEAKER_00:Let's get into it. All
SPEAKER_02:right, well, give me your first one. Your first sad moment in movies. that make you say like, oh my gosh. This
SPEAKER_00:one is the saddest one on my list, I think. This one is my number one. I
SPEAKER_02:wonder if we got the same one.
SPEAKER_00:We probably don't.
SPEAKER_02:I don't know. You
SPEAKER_00:kind of
SPEAKER_02:like some of the stuff I like.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. I don't think we got the same one.
SPEAKER_02:All right, go ahead.
SPEAKER_00:But my first one is Seven Pounds with Will Smith.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I didn't watch that.
SPEAKER_00:You didn't watch it? Nah. If you don't want to cry, don't watch it.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, it was a sad movie.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, I cried. like real tears like I couldn't even see the TV cry.
SPEAKER_02:But did somebody die or anything?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Who? What happened?
SPEAKER_00:He died.
SPEAKER_02:The guy? Will Smith? Is that the one? He killed himself.
SPEAKER_00:What?
SPEAKER_02:That wasn't the one with the son right?
SPEAKER_00:This one was I don't know why he was giving them away but he wanted to give his organs away to seven different people. Oh okay.
SPEAKER_02:I didn't even know
SPEAKER_00:that. Yeah. So he killed himself and he gave all his organs to seven people.
UNKNOWN:Dang.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_00:And one of the people who he gave, I think he gave her his heart. That's the true meaning of I'm going to give you my heart.
SPEAKER_02:So he gave it to somebody he knew?
SPEAKER_00:No, but he fell in love with the girl. So he was kind of conflicted. Like, should I still do this? But I need to do this to save her. Yes, I cried and cried. And I let my daughter watch it and she cried and cried. Yeah, that's a sad
SPEAKER_02:movie. Have you watched it lately?
SPEAKER_00:No, I don't think I want to watch it again
SPEAKER_02:for real
SPEAKER_00:yeah
SPEAKER_02:so wait you seen it back then or you seen it
SPEAKER_00:I seen it I seen it a couple of times but I don't think I want to watch it again okay because it's it's sad whichever time you watch it all right okay yeah
SPEAKER_02:that was a good one seven pounds seven pounds that
SPEAKER_00:was if y'all want to cry like snotty nose cry watch seven pounds
SPEAKER_02:that was a that was a that was a sad movie I think I didn't watch it probably because it was a sad movie
SPEAKER_00:I think you should watch it
SPEAKER_02:nah I'm So
SPEAKER_00:you want me to try your tang, but you won't watch this movie? Alright.
SPEAKER_02:I'll bring the tang.
SPEAKER_00:I'll try the tang if you watch this movie. Alright. Okay.
SPEAKER_02:Do I have to watch the whole movie?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah. You got to get the whole effect.
SPEAKER_02:Where's the cliff notes? Remember that? I had to find the cliff notes.
SPEAKER_00:Oh God, you a cheat. Or you got to just go to the Wikipedia. No,
SPEAKER_02:go to the highlights on YouTube or
SPEAKER_00:something. Don't do me like that.
SPEAKER_02:Alright, well, since you talk about Will Smith... This scene, 2007, a movie called I Am Legend. Will Smith was like by himself, him and a dog.
SPEAKER_00:And he had to kill the dog? Is that the scene you're talking about?
SPEAKER_02:The dog died on his own. The dog got bit by one of those things.
SPEAKER_00:Remember he broke the dog neck?
SPEAKER_02:Yep.
SPEAKER_00:Is that the scene you're talking about?
SPEAKER_02:That's the scene. Yep.
SPEAKER_00:I love that movie. You
SPEAKER_02:can't tell me that wasn't a sad scene.
SPEAKER_00:Yes, it was. I love that movie to say that he was basically in there all by himself. That was a
SPEAKER_02:good movie. That was a good movie.
SPEAKER_00:It's kind of like Castaway.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah,
SPEAKER_00:exactly. And I love Castaway. You know
SPEAKER_02:what? I like this one better. Castaway was real good. A lot of people paid attention to it, but maybe it was the action on this one.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know. I like both.
SPEAKER_02:Yep, so that was the scene. Oh,
SPEAKER_00:that was a sad scene. I
SPEAKER_02:Am Legend.
SPEAKER_00:He had to love that little dog.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, he had a dog, and I think that dog grew up with him, right?
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, because he gave the dog to his daughter at the beginning yeah but remember his daughter and his wife died in a plane in the crash the helicopter crash
SPEAKER_02:yeah so um he had to kill the dog because the dog got bit
SPEAKER_00:and he cried like he cried like a baby
SPEAKER_02:yep so that's my that's my first
SPEAKER_00:one okay that's a good one i like that since we was talking about that's my movie yeah
SPEAKER_02:will smith
SPEAKER_00:okay my next one is gonna be a time to kill i Okay. I think I've seen it once. Really? That's a good movie. Yeah, I think I've seen it once. The scene I like is when he shot the two guys that raped his daughter. He got one of the guards, too. So he went to the hospital to say sorry to the guard. Oh,
SPEAKER_02:okay.
SPEAKER_00:So that was kind of a touching scene. And when the guard got on stand and was saying, you know, I'll do the same thing. I would have did the same thing. Yeah. Oh,
SPEAKER_02:that's a good one.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:A Time to Kill. A Time to Kill. Okay. Matthew McConaughey and Samuel L. Jackson.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, okay. Well, I got one. It's a tough one.
UNKNOWN:Um...
SPEAKER_02:It's a black movie, you know. I like black movies or hood movies. This movie is from, when is this movie? This movie is from 1984. A movie called Sugar Hill.
SPEAKER_00:I've watched
SPEAKER_02:it. Now, this was Wesley Snipes.
SPEAKER_00:Alan Payne, I think, right? Was Alan Payne in that one?
SPEAKER_02:Uh-uh. Nope, that was Blue Hill Road.
SPEAKER_00:Okay, Blue Hill Avenue. Blue Hill Avenue, yeah.
SPEAKER_02:This one was with, what's the guy? Nice like this, I wish.
SPEAKER_00:Was he the brother?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, he was the brother.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know his name, but I know who you're talking
SPEAKER_02:about. Carmelo. They called Western Snipes Mello. But their father was a junkie. And there was a scene where the brother came to give the father bad drugs to kill himself. And he killed himself by shooting a dope. He had to overdose right in front of him. And it was bad. It was... If you could see it. It was real bad. It
SPEAKER_00:was... That's the guy from... Is that the guy from Prince? Is that the father from Prince? That's the
SPEAKER_02:father from Prince. Clayton...
SPEAKER_00:Purple Rain.
SPEAKER_02:Clarence Williams III. And it was a real drawn-out scene. where he overdosed right there.
SPEAKER_00:Have you watched this lately? Or you just remember this from back in the day?
SPEAKER_02:No, I remember this.
SPEAKER_00:Really? Oh,
SPEAKER_02:man, he falls off the chair and everything. Like, does that... I can't really.
SPEAKER_00:Wasn't his brother jealous of his girlfriend?
SPEAKER_02:Yep.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:Okay. Don't cry now. Oh, baby. Uh-uh. No?
SPEAKER_02:I was trying to...
SPEAKER_01:I'm
SPEAKER_02:sorry. I was trying to get to the point where... he falls off the chair and does the... once the drugs really hit him. I'm sorry, baby. The music was sad. Everything was sad about this scene.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:That was a tough one. Did you ever see this?
SPEAKER_00:I've seen it before.
SPEAKER_02:Look at that.
SPEAKER_00:I don't remember that scene, though.
SPEAKER_02:What this scene is like.
SPEAKER_00:I watched that a long time ago.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, the brother brought the father the drugs.
SPEAKER_00:He always plays somebody bad. Don't cry now.
SPEAKER_02:Look at that. He like falls off the chair and... He's a
SPEAKER_00:good actor. Oh, yeah, he did that scene.
SPEAKER_02:He killed that scene. Like, if you wasn't sad before, you was definitely sad after this scene. That was it from Sugar Hill. Romello's Pops. Okay. That's what, you know, it was from a hip-hop line when he said his veins popped like Romello's fathers and
SPEAKER_00:whatever. You know my memory is bad.
SPEAKER_02:I'll have
SPEAKER_00:to find
SPEAKER_02:it out. But 1994, Sugar Hill. Okay. I don't know what
SPEAKER_00:you're talking about. that? My next one, I'm going to go with A Boy in the Striped Pajamas. What's that? It's a Holocaust movie. I didn't see that. You ain't never seen that? You should watch that too. Have you seen that recent? Probably a couple of years ago. For
SPEAKER_02:real? Yeah. I don't like those Holocaust movies.
SPEAKER_00:So, it's about a little boy. His father is in the German military. I can't think of his He's like a Nazi. Not
SPEAKER_02:the KGB.
SPEAKER_00:He's a Nazi soldier. So they moved next to the concentration camp. So the little boy and a little boy from the concentration camp become friends, but they only talk between the fence. Okay. So one day the little boy from the concentration camp, he wanted to find his father, but I think they had took his father to kill him. So the other boy came across the fence to help him find his father.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_00:So he put on the uniform that the concentration camp people wear, and they get mixed up into the little room, the gas chamber. Yeah. And they kill both of the little boys.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, wow.
SPEAKER_00:So then his father, who is the officer, he come looking for his son and find his son dead. So it was real sad. Yeah. The little boys didn't really know what was going on.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. So that's crazy. Yeah. So you pick like sad movies. Yeah. I pick like action movies. The action movie and it just happened to have a sad scene in it. You pick a straight sad movie.
SPEAKER_00:Yes.
SPEAKER_02:All right.
SPEAKER_00:Well. Yeah. Boy in the Striped Pajamas. That's a good. That's the
SPEAKER_02:name of it?
SPEAKER_00:Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. All right. Mine is from 1991. You
SPEAKER_00:just have to put the. This is
SPEAKER_02:a classic movie. I know you've seen it. Keisha. From the CMB Brothers.
SPEAKER_00:Rock-a-bye, baby.
SPEAKER_02:Yes. When Keisha got killed on New Jack City at the wedding, she came out
SPEAKER_00:there with the Uzi. And she went back in her little scarf.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. The real lady name is Vanessa Williams, known as Keisha.
SPEAKER_00:She played that part.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, she killed that part. Give it one more time.
SPEAKER_00:Rock-a-bye, baby.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. Yeah, when she died on New Jack City, that was a sad movie. Oh, you was crying? No, I wasn't crying. I didn't cry on any of these. I don't think I ever cried from a movie.
SPEAKER_00:Never?
SPEAKER_02:Uh-uh.
SPEAKER_00:I think you lied.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, I did.
SPEAKER_00:What movie?
SPEAKER_02:ATL.
SPEAKER_00:Why would you cry on ATL?
SPEAKER_02:Because it was like the... Was it the Brothers? I think it was the... The uncle? Yeah, it was the uncle and the brothers.
SPEAKER_00:I had
SPEAKER_02:just lost my uncle at the time.
SPEAKER_00:Oh, okay. Okay, so you cried for a different reason.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that was it.
SPEAKER_00:I had an experience like that. I lost my boyfriend before and I went and saw, what's the movie with Queen Latifah?
SPEAKER_02:Set It Off?
SPEAKER_00:No. It was her with three, it was Queen Latifah. What's Swiss Pete's wife's name?
SPEAKER_02:Alicia
SPEAKER_00:Keys. Alicia Keys. I can't think of that movie. The Secret Life of Bees. Is that what it is?
SPEAKER_02:I guess so. I didn't
SPEAKER_00:see that one. Never saw that? Mm-mm. And I went to the movie theater and saw it. Oh, okay. And I guess I was thinking about, because their sister died in the movie, and I guess I was thinking about my boyfriend. I was in there boo-hooing, crying. Yeah, so I can understand that. It wasn't a sad movie, but. Yep, yep.
SPEAKER_02:Okay. Yeah, so that was it. Keisha, New Jack City, 1991. Okay.
SPEAKER_00:Rock-a-bye, baby.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_02:What else you got? I know you got, I know you got a Don't try to change your list up now.
SPEAKER_00:I'm not changing out my list. All right,
SPEAKER_02:go
SPEAKER_00:ahead. You're going to get what I got on this list. All right. My next one is not a movie, but it's a TV show. The Walking Dead. You ever watch The Walking Dead?
SPEAKER_02:I did, but I didn't watch the whole thing. I did see the last scene, though.
SPEAKER_00:You should watch the whole thing.
SPEAKER_02:With that guy.
SPEAKER_00:The saddest scene on there is when Glenn died.
SPEAKER_02:With the bat, right? With the bat. Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:I was so done with The Walking Dead that night. That Sunday night that I watched that, I was crying like I knew Glenn.
SPEAKER_02:Everybody was.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, I didn't like that.
SPEAKER_02:Everybody
SPEAKER_00:went crazy.
SPEAKER_02:They went crazy when that happened. I
SPEAKER_00:feel like I'm getting emotional now. I don't like that
SPEAKER_02:scene. What's his name, Glenn?
SPEAKER_00:Glenn.
SPEAKER_02:From Walking Dead.
SPEAKER_00:All right. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Let's see what I got.
SPEAKER_00:I'm about to cry now, y'all.
SPEAKER_02:No, don't do it. Don't do it.
SPEAKER_00:Don't do it. All right. What you got? Um,
SPEAKER_02:2008. I don't know if this was a musical
SPEAKER_00:or not. I don't know why you put that year on there. Like, I'm going to automatically know what you're talking
SPEAKER_02:about. Nah, because, you know, sometimes they make remakes or sometimes they never heard a movie. Oh, girl. So I just put the year so people can remember. Well, Chess Records, the home of Muddy Waters, the home of Lil' Walter, the home of, what's that, Ella?
SPEAKER_00:What is this, Kelly? Cadillac Records?
SPEAKER_02:Cadillac Records.
SPEAKER_00:And I watched it, but not enough to, like, tell you what happened.
SPEAKER_02:The last scene on the movie was Leonard Chess, the head guy, the head white guy. Mm-hmm. He was leaving. They was getting ready to close the Chess Records. He was leaving, and before he got around the corner, he had a heart attack while he was driving away.
SPEAKER_00:Aw.
SPEAKER_02:It was sad.
SPEAKER_00:I'm going to have to watch that again. What? What? Because I seen a clip of, what is it? The Howlin' Wolf something?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:And you were singing to the little woman? Yeah. That makes me want to watch it again. So wait, you haven't seen
SPEAKER_02:that
SPEAKER_00:movie? I've seen it, but I can't remember. Oh,
SPEAKER_02:that's a good movie. A lot of people don't like it because they don't like Beyonce's part. But
SPEAKER_00:I like her. They just don't like Beyonce. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:They don't like her singing, I think.
SPEAKER_00:Was she good in it?
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I like it. I
SPEAKER_00:can't remember. I might watch it. What
SPEAKER_02:was that? She played... Etta James.
SPEAKER_00:Etta James. Yeah, Etta James.
SPEAKER_02:I'd rather
SPEAKER_00:go blind.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that scene right there was sad. I wouldn't. I'd rather see him with the girl. I ain't going blind. That was like they set that whole scene up.
SPEAKER_00:Because was she dealing with the head white guy?
SPEAKER_02:She loved the head white guy. They never really did anything.
SPEAKER_00:I thought they was together. No?
SPEAKER_02:He saved her for a lot of things. I'm
SPEAKER_00:not going to tell you the whole thing. Yeah, don't tell me because I'm going to watch it. Cadillac Records.
SPEAKER_02:She ended up getting on drugs, and he was trying to help her out, and he made it so she wouldn't lose her house and stuff like that.
UNKNOWN:Okay.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, yeah, you got to watch it. But they liked each other, I think.
SPEAKER_00:But they probably couldn't deal with each other because of the times back then. Oh, he was married? Yeah, he was
SPEAKER_02:married.

SPEAKER_00:The Lovely Bones. You got to watch it. The
SPEAKER_02:Lovely Bones. It sounds like a ladies movie.
SPEAKER_00:It's not. It's got some killing in it. A little girl dying in it. Okay. So, okay. Tell me about it. So, a serial killer moves next door to a family. And he watches and watches the little girl. And eventually, he kidnaps the girl. Oh, wow. And he builds like a little underground box. bunker and that's where he take her to kill her.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, for real?
SPEAKER_00:So it's good.
SPEAKER_02:Text it to me.
SPEAKER_00:Okay.
SPEAKER_02:Because I'm not going to remember. That sounds like something good.
SPEAKER_00:It's good. They live right next door to each other so the father think he did it and her little sister or her older sister think he did it too. It's pretty good. I might
SPEAKER_02:have seen that.
SPEAKER_00:With Mark Wahlberg?
SPEAKER_02:Oh, if Mark Wahlberg is in it, I've definitely seen it.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Because I watch all his movies. Send it to me anyway. Text it to me.

SPEAKER_00:that's what you get when you get all the rings, the power.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, he had that power.
UNKNOWN:Okay.
SPEAKER_02:He snapped his fingers, and there was a scene, I think, they started showing, like, Spider-Man. I think, I kind of think... Iron Man, Tony Stark was holding Spider-Man. And then he just started, you know that. You
SPEAKER_00:make me want to watch it just because of this.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:Well, is it like a series or something? Do I need to watch the other ones before? No, you don't have to. And what is it?

SPEAKER_00:out. You know how Tyler Perry
SPEAKER_02:do. Yeah, he's, come on, man.
SPEAKER_00:I'm mad at Tyler Perry, too.

SPEAKER_00:one. It probably is. Yeah,
SPEAKER_02:that's my last one. Well, I'm going to end it off with a bang. 1995. I've seen this in the movie theater. And it probably was the saddest scene of the whole movie. No, no, no, no, no. There was another sad scene, but dead presidents.
SPEAKER_00:I should have known.
SPEAKER_02:When Skip overdosed, when the cops came to get him.
SPEAKER_00:Skip was Chris Tucker.
SPEAKER_02:Chris Tucker was Skip, and it was a scene where he was sitting in a chair, needle in his arm, and the cops busted
SPEAKER_00:in the
SPEAKER_02:door.
SPEAKER_00:I can see it in my
SPEAKER_02:head. Yeah, and it was playing like Al Green or something at the time. It was a real dramatic scene. but it fit the movie. It made the movie that much better.
SPEAKER_00:And you know what? Music. The music they play in movies, it makes such a big difference. It does. It really does.
SPEAKER_02:Especially, you know, 90s. Just like we talked about Purple Rain.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:I think if that music wasn't in that movie, the movie wouldn't have been as good.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:But I don't think they do that anymore because you don't hear nothing about big soundtracks or anything. I
SPEAKER_00:don't think they do it like they used to.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah. So when Skip died.
SPEAKER_00:That was a good one. You make me want to watch Dead Presidents.
SPEAKER_02:You got a list of stuff to watch. I guess I got
SPEAKER_00:a list of stuff to watch too. How Cuddy rolled up on him.
SPEAKER_02:Oh that was good. Is that baby girl back
SPEAKER_00:there? Sucking on that lollipop.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah she's spoiled. Somebody got to
SPEAKER_00:spoil her. It's a little something for her. Like, oh, Cuddy, this is... Make me want to watch it. I might watch it tonight.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, when Cuddy caught him in the hallway, that was it, though.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:Anthony.
SPEAKER_00:Anthony.
SPEAKER_02:Anthony. Anthony. Yep, yep. So that was my top sad moments of movies. I have a couple, yeah. Oh, okay. Shoot them. John Q. Okay, another movie I never watched the whole thing. I'm telling you, your list is like...
SPEAKER_00:What is wrong with you? I don't know, maybe
SPEAKER_02:I was reaching for sad
SPEAKER_00:moments. I'm not supposed to bury my son. My son is supposed to bury me.
SPEAKER_02:Ooh, that
SPEAKER_00:was a scene? Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:That was a good one.
SPEAKER_00:That's a good movie.
SPEAKER_02:That movie was... I kind of think that movie was like, I guess a blockbuster at the time. I think it was. Everybody was talking about that movie.
SPEAKER_00:That was a sad movie.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that one and between that and what's that one with Will Smith and the son?
SPEAKER_00:The Pursuit of Happiness.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, those are kind of like the same kind of feel movies, right?
SPEAKER_00:I guess so because it's dealing with kids. Yeah, because the scene with Will Smith and his son in the bathroom, he's holding the bathroom door closed. That's a sad scene. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02:I'm over here. I'm watching something on TV behind you.
SPEAKER_00:Yeah, he's supposed to be on a show. He's doing a podcast here.
SPEAKER_02:I'm sorry, but have you seen what I saw? What are we doing?
SPEAKER_00:I can't turn around.
SPEAKER_02:No, you should have, but never mind. Okay. We're
SPEAKER_00:going to have to rewind it so I can see what he was looking at. Okay. What else you got? All right. and I got 12 years a slave. I don't know if I saw that. You never watched that?
SPEAKER_02:That's with the black guy, right? Yeah. What's his name?
SPEAKER_00:Don't ask me his name. He got like a funny name.
SPEAKER_02:The guy that got in trouble.
SPEAKER_00:No, I don't think he got in trouble.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, that's the black guy. They dropped him from Marvel and they picked him back up.
SPEAKER_00:No, that's not him.
SPEAKER_02:Jonathan Majors. That's not
SPEAKER_00:Jonathan Majors?
SPEAKER_02:It ain't him. Oh, no,
SPEAKER_00:you know what? This one got like an African-like name.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. That's, oh, man.
SPEAKER_00:Don't ask me to say his name.
SPEAKER_02:Well, what part you didn't like? The
SPEAKER_00:part that made me sad was... when the girl in there, the girl that he liked, the main character liked another slave on the plantation. And she was going to another plantation to wash. It was something with soap. And the... Slave Master.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_00:He was liking her, but he didn't want her to, I guess he didn't want her to wash because he didn't want nobody else to be with her. Oh, for real? So he got mad at her for going to the next plantation to wash, and that kind of made me mad. Dang. So you should watch it.
SPEAKER_02:The last slave movie I watched was pretty good, and that was that Will Smith movie.
SPEAKER_00:And I never watched that.
SPEAKER_02:That was good. He should have won an award for it. That's how good it was.
SPEAKER_00:It was on, it's only on Apple though, right?
SPEAKER_02:no I'm gonna have to hook you up with the app they got certain apps where you can find certain things
SPEAKER_00:you keep saying this you keep saying it I ain't got hooked up yet I got you I got you cause I wanna watch it but I can't find where to watch it at
SPEAKER_02:I got you yeah
SPEAKER_00:so
SPEAKER_02:that's a good one
SPEAKER_00:and I got one last one and I'm gonna end it what you got The Passions of the Christ oh yeah
SPEAKER_02:another movie I haven't seen
SPEAKER_00:Don't watch that movie. Now, I was like really choked up on that. Mel Gibson made that movie? Yes.
SPEAKER_02:Yeah, I remember that slack he was getting for it.
SPEAKER_00:That was a hard watch. Yeah? Yeah. It will make you cry.
SPEAKER_02:Do you think they should have had a black character play it?
SPEAKER_00:No.
UNKNOWN:Okay.
SPEAKER_00:I don't think so.
SPEAKER_02:So you think Jesus was white?
SPEAKER_00:I don't know what color Jesus was. I wasn't back then with Jesus. But what is he portrayed as? Everybody portray him as a white Jesus.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_00:You see, Florida Evanston wanted to be the black Jesus. You
SPEAKER_02:know, I wonder sometimes of people that think there's a black Jesus. Like when they, you know, say they pray, I hope I get this money. I hope I get this.
SPEAKER_00:Just a black Jesus. I wonder I wonder if
SPEAKER_02:the vision of the black Jesus is in their head.
SPEAKER_00:No, it's the vision that everybody sees. It's
SPEAKER_02:the white one.
SPEAKER_00:It's the white Jesus. It doesn't matter what color Jesus is. Just pray to
SPEAKER_02:Jesus. That's crazy. All right. Well, what are we going to get
SPEAKER_00:into? We got our flashback movies? Is that what we're doing? I do have a flashback, and I just watched it before I came up here.
SPEAKER_02:Oh, you were doing homework.
SPEAKER_00:I wasn't doing homework. It just was on, and I just had to watch it. had to watch it anytime this movie is on I got a couple of movies that No matter when they come on, I'm going to watch it.
SPEAKER_02:No, no,
SPEAKER_00:no, no. And I can watch it 50 times. But if I catch it on TV, I'm going to watch it.
SPEAKER_02:No, no,
SPEAKER_00:no, no. One of them is Gladiator. The first Gladiator. I'm going to always watch that.
SPEAKER_02:Russell Crowe?
SPEAKER_00:Yes. Yeah. Another one is the Django. Okay. I'm going to always.
SPEAKER_02:Yes. To put the D in the Django.
SPEAKER_00:The Django. I'm going to always watch that. Django was good. I watched it 50 times.
SPEAKER_02:Django was good.
SPEAKER_00:And another one is. Casino
SPEAKER_02:The name of this movie that I'm going to say is two actors, but this movie is different. 1983, a movie called Bad Boys came out.
SPEAKER_00:You better stop. Because you know what? I started to put that on my list of sad movies because I watched this when I was young watching this movie. Ain't no way. With Sean Penn and the little Puerto Rican guy. Yes, that's a good movie.
SPEAKER_02:Yep, so that's my movie to go back. Sean Penn, there's a lot of actors in there. I do not know the Spanish guy's name.
SPEAKER_00:I don't know him either.
