Once Upon A Time In Music
Black Love Tv and Movies.
This week, Cheryl Poison and EL talk all things Black Love — from the TV couples we grew up admiring to the ones we definitely don’t want to be like. They read a hilarious letter from listener Shaha Kwanasia, debate the greatest Black couples on screen, and keep it fun with “Kiss, Marry, Kill” and “Spotlight Albums.” It’s love, laughs, and a whole lot of 90s vibes.

SPEAKER_00:I'm Cheryl Poison we back for another episode and another one another episode this week's episode is about black love yeah black love we got a a message sent in said hey y'all should try this and y'all should do this so shout out to our listeners we love y'all we love y'all keep writing in yeah I think this is a real good one I think uh this episode might be good I I didn't pick the regulars so I picked the ones that I looked up to okay all right we'll we'll go with that because there was some on TV that it was like I wouldn't want to be in their position so yeah I picked the ones that I looked up to okay well well along with that we got uh what's it kill kiss or marry kiss marry kill I get it wrong every single kiss marry kill we got that uh I don't have a movie for this week you got one movie I got a movie we'll still go with yours and price tag oh snap I forgot about that you falling off bag you know what I got something though I got a treat and substitute for that we got spotlight albums that came out this week however many years ago uh I'm gonna start with this first thing I got I got this message and it's about the show okay so you didn't know about this I didn't tell you about it you're surprising me because it was like surprises I like to be in the know oh yeah oh yeah well check this out okay what's up this is Shaha Kwanasia writing in to tell you how much I enjoy your show I make sure I never miss an episode I be making sure I give all five of my kids mad melatonin and locking them in their bedroom so I can make sure I listen to your show. And even though like all seven of my baby fathers be giving me a hard time I be like listen I cannot miss this show because they really be giving us the rim on the 90s of RB and stuff. Now even though I was not like really born in like the 40s and the 80s and the 70s and the 90s like y'all I still really be appreciating the knowledge that y'all be dropping on us. But all I wanted to write in and say was like I really think that you should start incorporating like more newer people into your show like you know I really think that like Tory Lanez is like Michael the new Michael Jackson and how NBA Youngboy is really like the new Biggie and Mariah the scientist is like really like the new Mary J. Blige so like for your younger people because I'm only 23 like for the younger people that's listening y'all would really do good if you was like an old school show but like you talked about all the new stuff I really feel like that would like really make your podcast popping anyway shout out to Brooklyn Brooklyn Yep yep I think that was a good one I think that was a good one shout out to what's her name she had a lot of names I couldn't keep up with them it was shout out to our listener what's up Daha Kwanasia right in itia right in it Quarnasia we're gonna call her Quani or shiny thank you for listening give them kids that melatonin yep um yeah thank y'all for listening and I wasn't born in the 40s nor the 80s why you looking at me like I was born in the 40s I'm just checking she said like y'all girl I'm a Tinderoni.
SPEAKER_05:I don't know what you're talking about she sounds like you tinderoni what's that mean it sound like better than me you never know you got kids with melatonin I put them kids to sleep it do sound like you all seven of my baby daddies hold on this do sound like you we got to check on this but uh yeah no shout out to our listeners um that was a dope message I think we're gonna we're gonna try to get her to send a message in every week okay a little feedback I'm not gonna hold it against her that she said that we were born in the 40s or the 80s she might think you old no not me she said y'all she might think you old because I'm a Tinderoni um well I I guess it's time you want to get into it let's get into it all right today's episode is about black love uh you know people from movies or movies or TV yep TV show um I'm ready I'm ready too you gonna start it off or you need me to start off I'll start it off ladies first my first couple is probably someone that a lot of people look up to and I know who you're gonna say whatever it is Cliff and Claire Huxtable I knew it like when I was growing up I was like oh they rich they black they got professions like real careers a doctor and a lawyer together they bossing up you were thinking that when you were kidding I wasn't I was like how the ugly Bill get that girl clear was fine clear was fine she still is yeah right she is yes she is look at you sometimes it's about personality he had good personality that's what it was he's funny he's funny funny guys get all the girls oh they do they do well I'm gonna try to be funny from now on well you better try better get your jokes up maybe I need to try to be funny too and get some um dudes you are funny I'm not funny yes she was I don't try to be funny oh so is by accident it just be happening it's like a Mr. Bean kind of reaction yeah like I'm not meaning to do it and it just happens okay maybe I'm like a Benny Hill funny not the Benny Hill Benny Hill was a pervert though don't compare yourself to Benny Hill that he was famous he was but he was a pervert if he was a pervert all those women that were on the show they were down with it they were perverts maybe they was but I was watching that when I wasn't supposed to be I definitely was watching it too I was sneaking watching Benny Hill what time it came on 730 I don't remember what time but I wasn't supposed to be watching it I thought it came on at night nah it came on right before like the the um it came after the wheel of fortune no way Benny Hill came on at the wheel of fortune it did look it up look it up while we're talking I think Benny Hill I think I think it was 730 because I think when it went off that's when like the good you know the TV shows came onny hill always want to feel on some buns yep flat ones too he likes those um flat buttons he liked those flat buns yep um he liked pancakes that's a good one though that was a good one I um I didn't want to put that one because I know that one was gonna come up oh you know what I did put it I just looked up yeah I didn't put them how can you talk about black love and don't include them because I was trying to you know pick the people that I thought you wouldn't pick so I didn't want to pick don't be worried about my list because I thought you were gonna pick that one well since we're talking about the Cosby show my black love was Theo and Justine do you know how he felt about Justine at first but it seemed like it fizzled off it definitely fizzled off whoever was doing the writing when they was ready to get rid of her there it was slowly going.
SPEAKER_01:But when you know she died in real life not during that time did she nah she just died like in the 2000s right I know she died in real life sing that song that um Bill was singing Justine just Justine yeah I remember that that was yeah Justine and uh that would have been good if they kept it going and those two got married I think it's just a name that really clicks like I don't I don't remember too many episodes with them together but I do know he liked her is that the same one when he was a counselor that's that season that the counselor was kind of like the end the ending of it the other guy was on it that died too what other guy uh Stan Oh um Rudy's little boyfriend yeah Stan Stan died he died much later I think though because he was on the show with um Bullethead and Steve Harvey Steve Harvey show what's his name Santana Santana something yeah yep um so that's mine Theo and Justine of the Cosby show what you got that was a good one all right my next one is George and Wheezy.
SPEAKER_05:Okay the Jeffersons that's definitely another one I was gonna pick but I didn't pick this one George had loved him some wheezy. George and Wheezy. He talked a lot of trash but he loved him some wheezy yeah those names go together like uh like that's crazy how the names would go together it's kind of like they could be like a real couple yeah yeah they really look like a real couple if you didn't know you know you know what George played for the other team do you know that for sure though yeah I think that's staple like he's that's why he's such a good actor I think I can't even see him playing for the other team yeah you don't see how flamboyant he is on the other shows why just because he had his little walk going down not the walk is the dancing and I don't know once I once I heard about it I was like oh okay and you started adding some stuff up see it a little bit yeah the Amen days once once amen like kicked in or special appearance on other shows you give it um sister sister he was a grandfather that's I mean that's why he was a good actor look at Uncle Phil yeah look at who else is there any more not that I could think of oh there's definitely more it's probably a lot out there it's probably some that you don't know about yeah they still probably don't tell especially back in the 80s 80s 80s they definitely didn't love who you want to yeah ain't nothing wrong with it do with do with it whatever you like all right it's your turn who you got okay a small show no I'm just gonna say the names Michael and Jay do you know who that is Michael and Jay Kyle see I don't really watch that no too much I can't get with that my wife and kids yeah I know that was a they definitely needed to be together they did seem like they could be a real couple I really saw I could see them more of a couple than uh nah I can't say that Martin and Gina that's stapled I know that's probably on your list.
SPEAKER_01:No I even put them on my list. Oh yeah oh okay Martin and Gina was always going through something I don't want to go through that many changes with my person.
SPEAKER_05:I think that might been that might be why I didn't use them because that last what last season they was they was always going through something though they wasn't together Martin was real stubborn like he was like setting his ways okay so that's definitely not on my list.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah it's not on my list either.
SPEAKER_05:Yep Michael Kyle and Jay Kyle they seem more realistic yeah they did they look I I guess it was the acting but I like Damon Wayne's I like Damon Wayne's more than all the other Wayne's okay comedy out of them he's like real funny like he's funny without being goofy like the other one Marlon is funny but he kind of goofy with it.
SPEAKER_01:Like when I watch the Wayans I'll be like he always doing too much. Yeah he is the goofy one and what's the other one Sean Sean Sean Sean Wayans he doesn't uh every time I see him I think of a DJ S1 that's what I think of too like you should be DJing trying to be the funny ones but who knows DJ he just needed a job at that point he was like oh just be the DJ did he have he never even touched the turntables leave him alone all right that was mine Michael and J. Kyle all right what's yours my next one is James in Florida Evans okay do the do the do the but I'm kind of on the fence about them do what the thank y'all thank y'all at least we can catch you can see me anytime if people knew how quiet you were yeah I'm real quiet like I'll say this I'm quiet with people who I don't really know that well but if I know you you're gonna know I'm crazy. I'm quiet and crazy. Yeah you are crazy I'm crazy sexy cool I wouldn't go that far you crazy a little crazy I love crazy yeah so all the people that listen let's see I'm gonna I'm sorry to pull this up real quick oh god what you about to pull up uh I can't find it right this oh here we go with all the countries and cities you're not shy no more you you just did that damn damn damn impression in front of five countries and 17 cities but them people right they're not like right in front of my face if you're not right in front of me oh I I could get crazy oh I'm sorry eight countries eight countries what's up everybody 33 cities 33 yeah okay okay they heard you do the damn damn damn that's funny right there thank you thank you thank you thank you for the applause thank you if they saw you last night they were like who's that that ain't the same person you know I'm shy and quiet I got you talking about last night how how did you feel about the versus I feel like it was too short okay and I felt cash money won it cash money took over the internet is saying like everybody's saying no limit everybody's saying no limit yeah but in my opinion Mia X saved them she came through and she she was the best one out of the no limit camp yeah the two MVPs of the night was Mia X and Juvenile and you know what Chopper Chopper came through and did his little thing too yeah we was talking about that on the DJ Blaze radio show podcast like how Chopper came out there and performed that hard like his he's a let's say a C list artist against you know the song that dropped before that I forgot what it was I can't remember what it was either but he he showed out yeah he the he had some rent to pay yeah he did he did Job style chopper style I hated that song then that's a good club song that's the only place it's good for chop chop chop chop ladies love that song guys love the twerk the guys love it when the ladies love it yeah any twerk song the guys gonna love okay it's my part but chopper did his thing yeah he did he did Mia X did her thing and Mia X is gorgeous they don't never put her in the category of the pretty rappers they don't never include her yeah they don't they don't she is pretty though she's very pretty her hairstyle threw me off though she was looked like she was kind of going old school like nah you know she don't have no hair oh she don't she had cancer and you're right you're right she got like a like a like a baldy baldy okay yeah yeah but she killed it last time she killed it yep yeah she came through shout out to Mia X yeah shout out to Mia X saved them yep I'm sorry to jump off subject but that just came about okay George and Wheezy no we're on James in Florida James in Florida yeah the damn damn damn damn damn damn and you did it again anyway that's too funny I'm gonna that's gonna be like the the snippet of the show don't do that I'm kind of on offense about them I felt like they loved each other but I felt like they didn't let each other grow I felt like my friend she said something about Florida one time and she said that she was holding the family back and I kind of feel like that like every time they tried to get ahead the mother would do something to kind of hold them back she just wanted to stay up in the projects she wanted to stay in the projects but what about James always getting fired he couldn't help getting fired now he was willing to work yeah he wanted to beat everybody up he was willing to work yeah but he wanted to beat everybody up remember when um JJ painted the black Jesus and the mother didn't want the painting in the house yeah but black Jesus brought black Jesus was bringing all the good luck and she didn't want it up in there now James didn't hit the number oh yeah something else happened everything was just happened good for them and she didn't want um the black Jesus up there JJ got paint supplies or something like that see that's too funny so that's how I feel about them I'm kind of on the fence about them but I still like them yeah that's a good one that's a good one um I guess we go with mine my next one oh boy Trey and Brandy really who you choose from a little show a little movie in 1991 in the hood boys in the hood I mean he cried on her he loved her he did not love her that was like a baby love what he was on his knees he was crying about his friend his he just saw his friend get shot you would be crying on your knees too not on some girl I don't love did you see the video though what video when he was on his knees I I seen it no did you see the video what video you talking about I seen the movie all right there's a video oh god I don't want to see it do you know how nutty uh what's his name what is his name cubit Gooden Jr.
SPEAKER_05:Yes you know how nutty he is yes he is kind of they call him Mr. Butt naked because it's nothing to be at a Hollywood party and he come running through there with no clothes on really just a chicken bucket on his head and stuff like that like super is he kind of on some drugs or something that too but he's like out there like crazy like and he don't look like that type he look easy going yeah he's definitely not like his roles trick me so with knowing this now and the videos coming up you know he got he got into some girl trouble too you kind of thinking what he was thinking when he was down there on his knees you can see it in the video he took a sniff oh my god he took a sniff like a while he was dead during the lines you're stupid I'm serious I believe you I believe you he was right there he had no other choice no but it's in the video he he had no other choice he took an extra like like he in between the words you see him like like one of those strong smell of the weed good he probably I I love her off screen he did he probably did he probably did she was a cutie she's still a cutie yes she is Mr Trey Mr Button and Brandy and Brandy from 1991 Boys in the know what he was thinking even if he he shoot that was his girl he didn't want to let her go okay but why is she up there at the altar yeah Whitney is it Whitley Whitley Whitley right yeah Whitley Where was she from Texas she was from Georgia I knew it she was somewhere southern she fast she a fast girl she a fast girl he had she had her nose his nose wide open baby please yeah that's crazy yeah but yeah they definitely loved each other yeah did they she switched up her whole style was that the end of the end of the show no because they got married and they had some another like season of them being married and doing their little married thing oh word yeah okay Dwayne Wayne all right well I got another crazy one for you uh 1988 a movie uh you know what I'll just say the name the each other did she lick his head or something she licked his part she licked the part in his head yeah that got to be love she loves him yeah she did okay she definitely licked the part of his head okay and that was like the craziest thing I see like oh they do you wanted somebody to lick your part no you can't feel the top of your head can you you know what it feels like when somebody be um playing in your hair oh I don't let nobody play in your hair what if somebody massage your scalp yes you let somebody play in your hair yes you know it probably feels like you just can't pull my hair you know what it feels like when you get your hair done and they part it and put the grease in the in the part and it feels so good don't that feel good do feel good see Julian was on to something see Julian's a freak or she's a freak she probably was greasing his head and he probably was like let's do something different this time no let's do something different that she went for that like that was the thing like yep Julian big brother almighty I'm gonna get somebody lick my scalp name Jane of um Jane what they couldn't come with a better name yeah spike lead he he ran out of names the whole cast he was like you know what just call it Jane she was probably gonna be in the whole movie but that was mine okay what you got that was good my next one is from Insecure Issa Ray and Lawrence okay I never watched that you never watched it nah it looked too girly for me it's good watch it be uh be easy he liked that show he liked he easy be having some good ideas like when he be saying stuff to watch it be good stuff he do he do but so why you ain't never watched this he watch everything he sure do anything that comes yeah I think he watched everything I can't keep up with y'all um I don't know why I never watched it it looked girly to me it looked it looked sex in the city ish to me it's good well anyway they broke up and then they found their way back to each other see yeah that was kind of good what what kind of good is it because you I'll tell you this I never really liked living single I like living single and that got the same kind of vibe it got that and sex in the city all in one right sex in the city is good see I can't do it can't do it whatever don't tell me to watch nothing nothing all right so don't don't watch mayor king's towns then I already watched it too late then it was good too late yeah that was that was a good one that was a good one um let's go with Jody and Yvette why would you pick them two cuz they would fight and and make up and fight and make up and make up 2000 want to be going through all that 2000 fighting every day and making up hey and you dropping me off to work in your in my car and you go and put some rims on my car put rims on it
SPEAKER_01:It all for it. That's how much he loves her. Because he thought it was his car. He was gonna take over her car.
SPEAKER_05:He loved it so much he brought it over to his Mexican homies. Let the Mexican homies put the I don't want no Jody. The gold Daytons on there.
SPEAKER_01:Jody, why you doing this to me? No, I don't want Jody.
SPEAKER_05:You want Jody.
SPEAKER_01:I don't want no Jody.
SPEAKER_05:It was all good when it was at the end of the movie when it was picnicking the kids.
SPEAKER_01:And that was fake. Because Jody did not change.
SPEAKER_05:So they didn't love each other?
SPEAKER_01:They probably did, but they had some toxic love.
SPEAKER_05:He was ready to catch a body for.
SPEAKER_01:It'd be some toxic love out there. Snoop came through. Do you like toxic love?
SPEAKER_05:No, I don't know. I don't know anything.
SPEAKER_01:Do you want to fight every day and then make up?
SPEAKER_05:No, I'm I'm too quiet to fight.
SPEAKER_01:See?
SPEAKER_05:I'm not fighting.
SPEAKER_01:Jody was messing with the girl at her job. Like you couldn't find nobody else to mess with.
SPEAKER_05:That didn't mean he didn't love her. Right?
SPEAKER_01:Toxic love.
SPEAKER_05:Oh boy.
SPEAKER_01:I don't want no toxic love.
SPEAKER_05:2001 movie. Baby boy. Baby boy, Jody and Yvette.
SPEAKER_01:That's regular.
SPEAKER_05:That was regular hood love right there. Jody.
SPEAKER_01:Jodi. All hood love don't be toxic.
SPEAKER_05:Okay. You think so?
SPEAKER_01:Jody. I I know so. All right. Okay. Who you got? My next people or couple are Idris Elba and Gabrielle Union and Daddy's Little Girls. I thought that was a good movie.
SPEAKER_05:I thought that somebody wasn't there.
SPEAKER_01:They were kind of like opposites.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, yeah, it was a baby mama. Yeah. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01:They were kind of like opposites, but they came together in the end.
SPEAKER_05:I don't remember their relationship too much, though.
SPEAKER_01:Like she was his lawyer.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_01:So she was like kind of Sadiddy, and he was like from the hood. Not Sadidity. Siddhitty. Siddity and pretty.
SPEAKER_05:Siddha.
SPEAKER_01:And I wouldn't say she lowered her standards, but she she he kind of like grew on her.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, okay. That's a good one there.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah.
SPEAKER_05:That's a good one. Alright, I got I think I only got one more because two of mine you named.
SPEAKER_01:Who was the two?
SPEAKER_05:A different world. And uh nope. Uh Bill and Claire.
SPEAKER_01:Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_05:So I got one more. And I'm gonna tell you why. I'm gonna tell you why. Yeah, I'm gonna have to sit back a little bit. Alright. I know this is a one of the best black couples. You don't see them arguing. You don't hear somebody sign these papers.
SPEAKER_01:I can't wait until you say who it is.
SPEAKER_05:You don't, you don't, um, what else? You don't see them arguing, you don't see them, you know, they never sat down with Barbara Walters.
SPEAKER_01:Is this a real life couple?
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, I think so. Okay, and I say that lightly. Oprah and Steadman. And you never seen them together, and you you never seen them even talk. You never seen do they wear rings?
SPEAKER_01:They're not married. Oh black love. If my man was worth billions, you think I'm gonna be mouthing off? No.
unknown:Who?
SPEAKER_01:Who gets sweet, Cheryl? Steadman and Oprah. Stedman's worth. No, Oprah's worth the money. Oh, yeah. So he ain't gonna be he ain't got nothing to say.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, that's why I think it's black love, because you never seen them together, you never seen them talk and you don't even know whether they're together for sure.
SPEAKER_01:That's how black love they are.
SPEAKER_05:They say steadman gay, but you know, that was just the 90s talk.
SPEAKER_01:They say when you keep people out of your business, your relationship lasts a long time. And they've been together forever.
SPEAKER_05:That's what you think. They're not even together, but you don't think they together? I don't think it's real. Back in the it's been like that since the 80s. You don't know their life. Steadman.
SPEAKER_01:Do Oprah really need a husband? I wouldn't get no husband either.
SPEAKER_05:She got Gail. That's her husband.
SPEAKER_01:Gail, her husband? I got Gail and a couple more.
SPEAKER_05:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:I'll have me a little team.
SPEAKER_05:Dang, a whole bunch of girls.
SPEAKER_01:Not gals. I'll have some men. I'll have me a little lineup.
SPEAKER_05:I was about to say something crazy. Oh boy, yep.
SPEAKER_01:So that's probably why I ain't got no money. Because I'll have, I'll be a hoe cake out here. Okay.
SPEAKER_05:That's today's new word.
SPEAKER_01:Whole cake.
SPEAKER_05:I would be a hoe cake.
SPEAKER_01:Lord, you pick open steadman.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, open stepping. Those are my last ones. What you got? I know you.
SPEAKER_01:I got two more. Give me them. But these are the people who I don't want to be in a relationship like. Oh, you turned the hook. You made the whole new show. No, I just had to put the name. Who is it?
SPEAKER_05:Blueface and Dagma and Chris.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, but they they on that list. I don't want to be, I don't want to be in love with a man. I put his face on my face. That's love. She loves that boy.
SPEAKER_05:It's either that or she's nuts.
SPEAKER_01:It might be a little of both.
SPEAKER_05:I think I'm gonna go with the nuts because she likes rocking the no-tooth more than the tooth.
SPEAKER_01:She put him on her tooth. That's how you know she. The new tooth.
SPEAKER_05:Sick.
SPEAKER_01:I love me some Nas, but he ain't going on my face. What? Or my tooth. And I think she got his um face on her throat. I think you're lying though. I ain't lying.
SPEAKER_05:If Nas came in here right now and said, if we're gonna be together, you gotta get a tattoo on your face.
SPEAKER_01:First of all, you ain't gonna put no um, what is that? You ain't gonna have no demands. We gonna be together, we're gonna be together. You say that now, but I'm saying that.
SPEAKER_05:Let we let us pull up a Nas anything.
SPEAKER_01:Uh, that's my husband. It's my boo. Shout out, baby. I'm waiting on you.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, you know what he's saying?
SPEAKER_01:I'm at the tattoo place.
SPEAKER_05:Pull up. Tattoo on your face. Mike Tyson style.
SPEAKER_01:Mm-mm.
SPEAKER_05:Alright, so who you got? Okay, who you don't want to get? Yeah, you're thinking about it now, aren't you? You're like, well, maybe I would do it.
SPEAKER_01:Maybe I could put it on my back or something.
SPEAKER_05:Nah, it gotta be on the face.
SPEAKER_01:No, it's a no.
SPEAKER_05:I'll move on. Nah, I'm not even gonna say that. What I was gonna say. Cause just thinking.
SPEAKER_01:You I'm not putting nobody in my face because stuff don't last forever. Because how I'm gonna get another man that I got nah's tattooed on my face.
SPEAKER_05:Hey. You better you better pick somebody that look like him.
SPEAKER_01:That's a negative. No.
SPEAKER_05:You got a type now.
SPEAKER_01:I'm good. That's that type I like. Let me get to my person. My person is Steve and Laura. You don't want them to be together? I don't want to be in a relationship like them. Steve was sweating her hard, and she kept playing hard to get.
SPEAKER_03:Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01:And he turned into a whole nother person, and she all up on him. I know. Back then you didn't want me. Now I'm hot. You all up on me.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, turning to Stefan.
SPEAKER_01:Yeah, now she wants him.
SPEAKER_05:And she knew it was Steve, too, right?
SPEAKER_00:She knew.
SPEAKER_01:So no, I don't want to be like Steve and Laura.
SPEAKER_05:Laura Winslow. That's a good one.
unknown:See?
SPEAKER_05:I thought about Steve and Laura, but I was like, it wasn't together. She ain't even like Steve. She liked him.
SPEAKER_01:Laura. Now Steve loved him some Laura. It just was one-sided. Steve and Laura. Alright, give me another one. Okay, and the next couple is Thelma Fry and Reverend Reuben Gregory. Wait. You know who that is. Yeah, you, but wait. They ended up getting married, didn't they? But after 300 years, he turned her down for 300 years.
SPEAKER_05:He was uh he wasn't finished uh scoring his royal oats.
SPEAKER_01:He was the Reverend.
SPEAKER_05:That's what you know what the Reverends did, but you know he played hard to get too much.
SPEAKER_01:I would have been pushed up off him.
SPEAKER_05:She definitely won, she definitely got him.
SPEAKER_01:She loved her some Reuben. Ruben.
SPEAKER_05:Who she liked like that on uh the Wayans? Sean?
SPEAKER_01:Was that her on the um Yeah, that was D.
SPEAKER_05:D is her. Who she likes? Sean on the Wayans?
SPEAKER_01:Did she?
SPEAKER_05:She used to like one of them like that. She used to like somebody on there like that.
SPEAKER_01:If it was anybody, probably was Sean. Because Marlon was too goofy.
SPEAKER_05:Or that little pimp guy used to like her or something. I don't know.
SPEAKER_01:Okay.
SPEAKER_05:That was a good one, though.
SPEAKER_01:Those are my two, I don't want to be like.
SPEAKER_05:They got married though. So that uh they had an on-tv marriage too.
SPEAKER_01:So you want somebody to turn you down for 300 years and then want to spin the block or marry you? I don't know. Because why you ain't I want somebody to like me first time they see me.
SPEAKER_05:But you know, if you like somebody, you don't not like that person ever again. Like if you don't, if you like somebody, it's hard not to like that person.
SPEAKER_01:Really?
SPEAKER_05:I think so.
SPEAKER_01:I didn't like people before and could cut them off cold turkey.
SPEAKER_05:So have you ever liked somebody and it just didn't work out? But if you've seen them again, you still like them? Yeah. It's it you can't get rid of the uh if you're liking them.
SPEAKER_01:Because once I'm off you, I'm off you. I could be in love with you hard down, ready to put that tattoo on my face.
SPEAKER_05:Like nice.
SPEAKER_01:But once it's over, it's over.
SPEAKER_05:But it don't be over because it never started.
SPEAKER_01:I don't know. It's over.
SPEAKER_05:Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01:Because I be wanting you to like me from get-go. As soon as you see me, I want you to like me. And that just stick with you until you get me.
SPEAKER_05:So when you stop liking them.
SPEAKER_01:If something happens. If something happens and like if we do get together.
SPEAKER_05:Oh, see, that's different.
SPEAKER_01:So you're saying if you like somebody and you never get with them, you always like them.
SPEAKER_05:Right?
SPEAKER_01:I'm trying to think if I like somebody and never got with them.
SPEAKER_05:Uh-huh. Yeah, see? You like Nas since '94.
SPEAKER_01:92, I think.
SPEAKER_05:See? Live at the barbecue. So you like Nas since then?
SPEAKER_01:Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_05:And nothing ever happened. He done win chase milkshakes in the yard.
SPEAKER_01:He didn't got milkshakes, and I still had like him.
SPEAKER_05:See, and you still like him now?
SPEAKER_01:Because I know.
unknown:See?
SPEAKER_01:He belonged to me.
SPEAKER_05:That's what I'm talking about.
SPEAKER_01:That's why the marriage ain't worked. The marriage fell apart. Cause he not fun.
SPEAKER_05:Well, talking about like, let's get into this uh segment of what it is.
SPEAKER_01:What's the name of the segment?
SPEAKER_05:Kiss, kill, or marry.
SPEAKER_01:Kiss, marry, kill.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. You want to go first? I go first. Nah, I always go first.
SPEAKER_01:I always go first, because I always say ladies first. Okay then.
SPEAKER_05:Let's go then.
SPEAKER_01:Let's go.
SPEAKER_05:Baby from Cash Money. Spike Lee or Tyler Perry. Ooh, that's a good one. Usually I throw a girl in there, but I threw Tyler Perry instead.
SPEAKER_01:Wow. Yep, yep. Baby, Spike Lee, and Tyler Perry.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah, that's a hard one.
SPEAKER_01:I'm gonna kill off baby.
SPEAKER_05:You're gonna kill off the drug baby, the dozing off baby?
SPEAKER_01:Yeah. Let's just get rid of him.
SPEAKER_05:He got that bread.
SPEAKER_01:He do, he got a lot of money.
SPEAKER_05:I don't know. He might have a lot of money.
SPEAKER_01:I think he does.
SPEAKER_05:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:So we're gonna kill him off. Kill him off.
SPEAKER_05:Okay, you about I know you who you got a lot of stuff going on. I know who you're gonna kiss to. You gonna kiss me.
SPEAKER_01:I'ma kiss Spike Lee.

SPEAKER_01:I'ma kiss Spike Lee. I'ma tongue him down.
SPEAKER_05:Ugh.
SPEAKER_01:And I'm gonna marry Taliper. Cause guess what? Taliperry ain't gonna bother me about nothing. He's gonna be writing his little movies, and I'ma just be shopping. I'm gonna be at the Chanel store, just picking out bags.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:He ain't gonna tap me on my shoulder for nothing.
SPEAKER_05:You saw the boondocks. You know what he was doing at the compound.
SPEAKER_01:He ain't gonna tap me on my shoulder for nothing. I'm just gonna be the face, the face of the wife.
SPEAKER_05:You know what he was doing at the boondocks.
SPEAKER_01:No prenup. Okay.
unknown:Okay.
SPEAKER_01:That's a good one.
unknown:All right.
SPEAKER_01:I thought eh. We're gonna kill off baby. We kissing um Spike Lee. And I'm gonna marry Tyler.
SPEAKER_05:You said tongue him too.
SPEAKER_01:Tongue him down.
SPEAKER_05:You like him?
SPEAKER_01:No?
SPEAKER_05:Y'all probably about to do it.
SPEAKER_01:But if I'm already kissing him, I might as well do it right.
SPEAKER_05:Y'all be at the next game.
SPEAKER_01:Floor seeds, ain't it?
SPEAKER_05:Floor seats. Every game. Alright, give me lines.
SPEAKER_01:All right. Remy Ma. Viola Davis. You know who Viola Davis is?
SPEAKER_05:Yeah.
SPEAKER_01:From Scandal?
SPEAKER_05:Uh, give me another one.
SPEAKER_01:That's from the She played on fences with Denzel Washington. She was his wife.
SPEAKER_05:The fake uh Black Panther movie with all the girls. With all the women. The bald-headed girls. Yeah, go ahead.
SPEAKER_01:Her and Mary J. Blood.
SPEAKER_05:Dad, that's a hard one.
SPEAKER_01:Who I gotta kill? Uh Remy Ma, Viola Davis, and Mary J.
SPEAKER_05:I might have to kill Remy Ma.
SPEAKER_01:Good choice.
SPEAKER_05:I think I had to kill her.
SPEAKER_01:She'll probably kill you.
SPEAKER_05:Because I remember the old Remy was a little boy, a little uh I'm sorry. Boyish? A little boy trapped in a woman's body.
SPEAKER_01:Oh my God.
SPEAKER_05:A hood nigga trapped in a woman's body. That's what you gotta say. I remember those days.
SPEAKER_01:Remy, I ain't say nothing about you. Remy, you'll fight.

SPEAKER_05:And I guess. Uh so who I gotta kiss?
SPEAKER_01:Either Viola Davis or Mary J. Blige.
SPEAKER_05:That's tough. I don't think I want to kiss either one of them.
SPEAKER_00:You don't like Mary?
SPEAKER_05:Not in looks.
SPEAKER_00:Mary's cute.
SPEAKER_05:Yeah. She's drunk. I know she's drunk.
SPEAKER_01:She had problems.
