SPEAKER_05All three of them. They did that scene.
SPEAKER_01They killed that scene. That scene right there. Yo, it chose me. He said, Mr. Pretty Tony, 1.53. Do you buy that? He was super mad.
SPEAKER_04Come here.
SPEAKER_01Come in. Come in, man. Yeah, so that was the father in the movie Players Club. Um, the scene where he went in the back with Okay. Jamie Foxx was out there shooting guns.
SPEAKER_05When I watch it again, I um pay attention.
SPEAKER_01All right, so what you got? It's my girl. Yep, it's your turn.
SPEAKER_05Okay. My next person is Morgan Freeman.
SPEAKER_01That's a classic. Like, he's been in everything.
SPEAKER_05He's been in so many movies. And he always plays the voice of God in any movie.
SPEAKER_01He is God. If you didn't know, he is God.
SPEAKER_05And I like him on Kiss the Girls and Seven. Seven. I love Seven.
SPEAKER_01What's in the box? What's in the box? Is it was that Brad Pitt?
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm. Who's in the box? Who's in the box?
SPEAKER_01He was screaming.
SPEAKER_05He was mad. What's in this box? I think he knew what was in the box.
SPEAKER_01He didn't want to open the box.
SPEAKER_05Because he knew what was in the box.
SPEAKER_01What was in the box?
SPEAKER_05His wife had. What's in the box?
SPEAKER_01That was a good movie.
SPEAKER_05That was.
SPEAKER_01That movie was real good.
SPEAKER_05I could watch that multiple times.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm gonna put that up there with Bone Collector. Mm-hmm. Seven, eight millimeter.
SPEAKER_05You watch Um Kiss the Girls? That's a good one too.
SPEAKER_01Kiss the Girls. Is that with Um Samuel L. Jackson?
SPEAKER_05Mm-mm. That's with Morgan Freeman. No, that's a long kiss kidnapping. And um, I can't think of Ashley Judd.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. That's I'm thinking of Long Kiss Kidnapping.
SPEAKER_05About some guys kidnapping ladies. Oh, for real? And then um trying to find a.
SPEAKER_01I might have to put that. I know I've seen it, but I think I might have to watch it again. Watch it again.
SPEAKER_05I love that movie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05It's one of my faves.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_05Kiss the girls. Kiss the girls and make a girl cry.
SPEAKER_01Alright, so it's my turn. It's your turn. Oh. Well, I can't talk about movies if I don't bring up Denzel Washington. Denzel Washington, I think, is up there in the top the twos, the threes for me. I think my favorite role of all times from Denzel had to be. It's between training day and Malcolm X. But Malcolm X when he was the hustler.
SPEAKER_05Red. No red.
SPEAKER_01Red. Or oh man, he got so many.
SPEAKER_05What's the one with the trains? The one with the train, that's a good movie.
SPEAKER_01Not the train.
SPEAKER_05That's yeah, the train, and they was trying to keep it from getting derailed. Wasn't that him?
SPEAKER_01No, wasn't that John Travolta?
SPEAKER_05Mm-mm. That was him. Yeah, the movie with the plane flight. That was good. He was good on that one.
SPEAKER_01He was the drunk, the drunk pilot?
SPEAKER_05The drunk pilot.
SPEAKER_01He got so many.
SPEAKER_05I like the one with um the people who robbed the bank. And he had to figure out how they did it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, inside job.
SPEAKER_05Inside man. Inside man.
SPEAKER_01You know who made that?
SPEAKER_05Who?
SPEAKER_01Spike Lee.
unknownFor real?
SPEAKER_01Yep. Spike Lee directed that movie.
SPEAKER_05Equalizer.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, the Equalizer is a top nine.
SPEAKER_05Man on Fire. He got. I didn't really like Man on Fire too much. Man Like Man on Fire? The Book of Eli. Did you like that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I liked it. Probably once I went back and watched it again. You know John Q? You know the. Did you watch uh Book of Eli?
SPEAKER_05Mm-hmm.
SPEAKER_01So you know what was going on in the whole movie?
SPEAKER_05It was like taking books or something, right? I can't. It's been a while since he's blind.
SPEAKER_01He's blind in the movie.
unknownDid I know that?
SPEAKER_01He's blind. The book that he was chasing down was in Braille. All the fighting scenes, him fighting and stuff.
SPEAKER_05Wasn't it like the Bible that he was looking for though?
SPEAKER_01Supposed to be, you know. It was, you know, they touched on that.
SPEAKER_05I might have to watch that again.
SPEAKER_01He's blind in the freaking movie. I didn't realize that until like it came up somewhere else. Uh oh.
SPEAKER_05Lori Fallen. You ever seen Fallen? That's a good one.
SPEAKER_01I bet you don't remember the song.
SPEAKER_05What was the song?
SPEAKER_01Was it Time Keeps Passing Me By? Alright, so I'm gonna tell you right now. I'm gonna give you three. Because he got so many. Number one gotta be training day. Malcolm X. And then I'm gonna have to go with uh The Siege Is that number two? Huh?
SPEAKER_05The Siege would be again number two?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Nah, that'd be my number three. And that movie I told you about, you talk about the train.
SPEAKER_05That is um It's Unstoppable.
SPEAKER_01Nah. It's Pen of 123. That's um he got that one too.
SPEAKER_05But he got one Unstoppable.
SPEAKER_01Oh yeah, he does. But um Pen of 123 is John Travolta and him. Remember, I was thinking it was John Travolta.
SPEAKER_05You ever watch Ricochet? He was good in that.
SPEAKER_01Of course. With Iced T. That was a 90s, 90s movie right there. Falling.
SPEAKER_05Really? Got some.
SPEAKER_01Ah man, Fallen. Fallen might be one of the one of the tops. I might have to move Mississippi Masala. I don't know why I liked it. Well, I know why I liked it, but Why you liked it? We're not gonna get into that. Why you liked it? I want to know. It was a good movie. The pretty little Indian lady? No. Moe Better Blues. There you go. That's another good one.
SPEAKER_05That is another good one.
SPEAKER_01Yep, yep.
SPEAKER_05So Philadelphia.
SPEAKER_01Moe Better Blues. Did you watch that? No, I didn't watch that.
SPEAKER_05You never watched that?
SPEAKER_01Nope.
SPEAKER_05You need to watch it. That's a good one.
SPEAKER_01I like Spike Lee and Mo Better Blues. I mean, uh Wesley Snipes. I bet you didn't realize he was in it.
unknownDid you? Yeah.
SPEAKER_01You did?
SPEAKER_05I haven't been watching that a long time, but yeah.
SPEAKER_01Denzel, I can't just pick one. That's gonna be his new name. Denzel, I can't just pick one favorite. What you got?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I can't even say nothing after that. You just blew everybody out of the water.
SPEAKER_01You got Denzel?
SPEAKER_05No, I ain't got no Denzel. What? No Denzel. My next person is Edward Norton. I know. And the movie is American History X. That is a good movie. You ever seen that? The skinheads?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_05And he chin checked the guy? Yeah, put it. Trying to steal his um car.
SPEAKER_01Put his face on the curb? Yeah, yeah, yeah. They call that something.
SPEAKER_05A chin check, I thought.
SPEAKER_01I think they call it something else. They do call that something. Curbing them or something.
SPEAKER_05Curb check? Something like that.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that's crazy.
SPEAKER_05That was crazy when I first seen it. I was like, oh my God.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, that was when.
SPEAKER_05You would just have to shoot me because I'm not putting my I'm not putting my own face up there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I think I'll I'll have to.
SPEAKER_05You just go ahead and kill me. If you gonna do that, go ahead and kill me.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I'm gonna have to fight it out. Yeah. I ain't gonna put my chin, my face on nah. Yeah, that was yeah. That was before movies got as gory as they are now.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that blew me away. I was like, oh my god.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. You know what movie kind of reminds me of that? With uh Justin Timberlake and they kidnapped the the little brother.
SPEAKER_05I don't know what to do.
SPEAKER_01Oh my gosh. We don't I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Is he a skinhead too?
SPEAKER_01Nah, but it had the same, it wasn't a skinhead movie, but it was a good it was a good movie, but it had the same kind of feel to it.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, like on that one, it really showed that like people can change because he went to jail and he realized like he didn't like who he was.
SPEAKER_01Alpha Dogs.
SPEAKER_05Oh, okay, okay.
SPEAKER_01Alpha Dogs. That was that was a good thing.
SPEAKER_05You know what? Like I've watched it, but not like the whole thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, watch it. Watch it's good. It's good. Shoot, Justin Timberlake could have made my um my list. He didn't make it, but he could have.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he got a couple of movies on his belt.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, if we did like all artists, uh actors or something like that, he definitely would have made it.
SPEAKER_05We could do that another time. Actors who we like in movies.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I know we're gonna pick HQ.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_01All right. Is it my turn? It's your turn. Al Pacino. I don't have to say everybody knows Al. And I'm not picking him for Scarface.
SPEAKER_05And like every movie he plays in is good. Like, I never seen a bad movie of his. Um movie who I I really like is The Devil's Advocate.
SPEAKER_01I didn't watch it.
SPEAKER_05You never watched that?
SPEAKER_01No, it was out of my age range at the time.
SPEAKER_05Oh my god.
SPEAKER_01What? It was it was too at that time, what what year that came out?
SPEAKER_051997.
SPEAKER_01So 97, I can imagine the stuff that came out during 97.
SPEAKER_05Alright, so I'm not gonna say the usual You're not gonna say Scarface?
SPEAKER_01Nah, he he wasn't my favorite in Scarface. Of all time. Carlito's way. Well, he played Carlito Bigante.
SPEAKER_05Carlito Brigante.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. He was cool in it, yeah. What?
SPEAKER_05He was especially when he was in the little club and he was like, okay, I'm reloaded.
SPEAKER_01That's when they um when they killed his nephew. Uh-huh. Yep. Yeah, so Carlito's wave. Al Pacino. And then probably Heat. Heat is right behind it.
SPEAKER_05I love Heat. I'll watch Heat every time it comes on.
SPEAKER_01Yeah? I think I like Al Pacino once he started getting old, to the point where you didn't realize he was old. Like certain movies he'd be like, oh snap, you know what? Albertino getting old. But by then it was too late.
SPEAKER_05Like he real old now. Yeah, he is. He probably close to 90.
SPEAKER_01He gotta be. He gotta be. What's his his last movie? Probably was like The Irishman. That was his last popular movie, I think. And I didn't watch the whole thing.
SPEAKER_04So did you watch like The Godfathers? Did you watch all those? No, I didn't. You never?
SPEAKER_01I I I probably tried watching them probably twice. And I just can't get into them. Can't do them.
SPEAKER_05As much as I because it's like too old, like I don't know.
SPEAKER_01I guess uh it could be that. But as much as I like mob stuff and stuff like that, just I don't know, something about it. Couldn't do it. What you got next? Okay what you got next?
SPEAKER_05Let me ask you this. Did you like Carlito's um way the second one? No. That wasn't like that one.
SPEAKER_01I can't even call that a second one. That's where um with Diddy? Yeah, Diddy happened, had a little spot in there. No way. I'm so mad about that. Okay. The same as Belly 2.
SPEAKER_05I hated Belly 2. They only did that because the game was hot at that time, and it was like, let's put him in a movie.
SPEAKER_01But why would you call it Belly 2? I don't know. They should have just I don't know. They should have named it something else. All right.
SPEAKER_05All right. My next person is Chris Farley. Okay. From the movie Tommy Boy. Big man and a little coke. How do you know that? Come on, man. I love that movie.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, Chris Farley. Chris Farley. You know, I had a I got a crazy story, I guess. For this movie. No, for the movie. So when this movie came out, me and my friend, we were going to the movies with two girls.
SPEAKER_05Not double dating.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so the girls lived at the group home. So we had to take the cab. We wasn't driving in at that time. We took the cab.
SPEAKER_05Both the girls lived at the group home?
SPEAKER_01Yeah. Yeah. So we get in the cab. We're little. We're not little, but we're young.
SPEAKER_05What is young? 15?
SPEAKER_01Probably. Probably around there.
SPEAKER_05That was 1995.
SPEAKER_0195. I was yeah, it was 60. 15, 60. I don't know. I'm not gonna count it up. Okay. Because I might be older than that. But um, so the cab driver's going crazy in the car. Oh man, y'all little niggas gonna get some putty. Y'all niggas, he's going crazy in the car.
SPEAKER_05How did he know? Y'all told him?
SPEAKER_01He knew where we was going. We said we was going to the movies, but we're stopping and picking up two passengers at the girls' group home.
SPEAKER_05So going to the movies equate to getting some?
SPEAKER_01Oh, y'all little nigga's gonna get some putty. He's he's bouncing around in the front seat. Shout out to Did y'all get some? Huh?
SPEAKER_05Did y'all get some?
SPEAKER_01No, we didn't get. We watched the movie. Because Tommy Boy, we was going for the movie. We wasn't going for no puddy.
SPEAKER_05I think you're lying.
SPEAKER_01I call him up right now.
SPEAKER_05I think you're lying.
SPEAKER_01Oh boy. So Tommy Boy was one of the good movies.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, I love that movie.
SPEAKER_01That's stupid.
SPEAKER_05It's a little funny, stupid, something like Dumb and Dumb.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah, yeah. What's Another they had another movie together, didn't they?
unknownWho?
SPEAKER_05Um Chris Farley and the little David Spade. David Spade played in a lot of movies.
SPEAKER_01I think they had another one together. It was like Tommy Boy and Black Sheep.
SPEAKER_05Black Sheep. That's exactly what it was.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah. Alright, you ready for mine? I'm ready. My next two are like top of the list. But I'm gonna start with this one Michael K. Williams. Also known as Omar from The Wire. Anything with him in it is good. But The Wire probably has to be my first.
SPEAKER_05What's the movie with him? It's like back in the day, like is it Boardwalk Empire?
SPEAKER_01Yep.
SPEAKER_05Have you ever watched that?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, but I you know, I went back to it like a couple weeks ago. Like the first two episodes.
SPEAKER_05Is it worth watching?
SPEAKER_01Uh I don't know. I gotta keep on watching. Because everybody likes it. Everybody like when they when people talk about HBO series, that comes up a lot as like as a gangster one.
SPEAKER_05So I hear a lot of good things about it, but I never watched that.
SPEAKER_01I like his role in it. Yeah. Michael K. Williams, also known as Omar.
SPEAKER_05He's gonna always make a list.
SPEAKER_01For Nawai. Yeah, he's he's up there. Because what's the other shows he played in? Let me what's that one? Lovecraft? Love Country Craft? What's that one?
SPEAKER_05Love Country. What is it? Lovecraft. He ain't had it on long.
SPEAKER_01It only made one season, right?
SPEAKER_05Look, they say he was on Belly 2.
SPEAKER_01On Belly 2?
SPEAKER_05Uh-huh.
SPEAKER_01Hey. I'm gonna have to go look at it then. He's probably you know what he was in that a lot of people don't know? He was a dancer in Crystal Waters um video.
SPEAKER_05The gypsy one?
SPEAKER_01Nah, what's the other one? Um, I'm gonna have to show it to you. Uh yeah. We wasting time, aren't we? Um yeah, Michael K. Wings, that's it.
SPEAKER_05A lot of stuff. I didn't realize it.
SPEAKER_01Oh, you still looking at um the name of that. What was that? Love Town Lovecraft Country. That's something like that. That's what it was?
SPEAKER_05It didn't last long.
SPEAKER_01He was in Brooklyn Finance. I didn't know he was in Killer Season.
SPEAKER_05I didn't know he was in 12 Years of Slave. I love that movie.
SPEAKER_01Dang. Alright, well, that's that's my next one.
SPEAKER_05They say he was on the Django.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, I see that.
SPEAKER_05Who he was at? You seen him in there?
SPEAKER_01I don't know.
SPEAKER_05Maybe I've been watching the Django a thousand times.
SPEAKER_01You know, a lot of times, like these actors, they'll they might get cut from this, like a scene. Oh, but they still put him in the credits. Yeah, because it still was there for filming and stuff like that. But who knows?
SPEAKER_05He might be in uh He could have had him as one of the guys in the He could have been a slave.
SPEAKER_01He's dark, dark enough. He could have been a slave. Oh yep, so Michael K. Williams, that's mine. What you got?
SPEAKER_05Okay, my last one.
SPEAKER_01Oh, yeah.
SPEAKER_05Is Anthony Hopkins?
SPEAKER_01Okay, still Silence of the Lions. Oh, that's not Anthony Hopkins. I'm thinking of a different Hopkins. His name is Jermaine. Jermaine Hopkins. Clarice. Clarice comes out of window, Clarice. Put the lotion on Clarice. Yes, I love that movie too. So you like all old white men actors? I guess. That's what you want to say. You ain't got no brothers on the wall.
SPEAKER_05I had Morgan Freeman.
SPEAKER_01You got one brother. One brother.
SPEAKER_05I'm sorry. I didn't know it was Balaka White.
SPEAKER_01What's his name again?
SPEAKER_05Anthony Hopkins.
SPEAKER_01There you go. Claris. Come to the window. Clarice. Um, I guess we're up to mind.
SPEAKER_05Yep. This is your last one.
SPEAKER_01Yeah. I got one more.
unknownIs it raining?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, it's raining out there. Um, yeah, I do got one more. You ready for it?
SPEAKER_05Yeah, hit me with it.
SPEAKER_01Number one. Is your number one? Probably. Nah, Al Pacino might be my number one actor of all times.
SPEAKER_05Not Denzel? Nope. So you like old white men too?
SPEAKER_01Yep. Al Pacino is Al Pacino played a Puerto Rican, a Jewish lawyer, and he played a Colombian, a Cuban.
SPEAKER_05A Cuban.
SPEAKER_01Cuban. All in one.
SPEAKER_05And he was white on, he was a white man on Um Heat.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so he played every nationality except black.
SPEAKER_05Yeah. Mm-hmm. That's probably next.
SPEAKER_01Nah, it's in the soul. When you hear him talking like when he's yelling at the guys on um any given Sunday. He does got the little soul in his voice. But that's my number one. But my next and last one is Eddie Murphy. You can't beat Eddie Murphy in Harlem Nights.
SPEAKER_05I thought you were gonna say Robert De Niro.
SPEAKER_01Nope. Robert De Niro's up there.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, he's up there.
SPEAKER_01He's up there with Albert.
SPEAKER_05I just watched Hollow Knights yesterday. So, you wanna shoot me in my pinky toe? Go ahead. There it is.
SPEAKER_01There it is. Yeah, Eddie Murphy.
SPEAKER_05He was funny enough. As an actor, he's like, I'll shoot that crusty motherfucker off.
SPEAKER_0148 hours and Beverly Hill Cop, he takes over the whole movie. And he was so young.
SPEAKER_05Like he didn't even need, like, he didn't need no other people on there with him. He's like you say, he commanded the whole movie.
SPEAKER_01He took the whole movie over. Eddie Murphy for me. Number one. My number one black. Don't nothing beat Raspuce. Norbit. I just watched that recently too.
SPEAKER_04I love.
SPEAKER_01The funniest part is when he was drinking that wine cooler and dancing. And she threw the speaker on his head. Niggas had to have a big thing.
SPEAKER_05That ain't the funniest part. The funniest part is when Raspuce is on the slide and she was like, oh, you want to see a bitch go down the slide? Stop. You want to see a bitch go down the slide? I couldn't stand Raspucia. Oh.
SPEAKER_01She was dirty. She had uh Marlin.
SPEAKER_05He was like, um, what's her name? I I don't know her name. What's her name again? Kate bitch! Kate. Uh that's a good one.
SPEAKER_01There was jazz tapping. Mm-hmm. That was too funny.
SPEAKER_05That's a good movie.
SPEAKER_01Yep, it was. I watched it recently, too. Alright, so I think that was it for me.
SPEAKER_05That was it for me, too. I ain't got no um honorable mentions.
SPEAKER_01Cool. Me neither.
SPEAKER_05I would add Robert De Niro up in there though. Oh, Robert De Niro's. A Bronx Tale. I love them in a Bronx Tale.
SPEAKER_01I think collagenal. I think my favorite Robert De Niro was Goodfellas. He was the gangster. He they had um Maury and a headlock. Don't pay me my money. His wig started to fall off, so they both started laughing. Yeah. And casino.
SPEAKER_05I think casino probably be my favorite.
SPEAKER_01Sam Rostin. He was the coolest. He was. His pink suit on. Dang, but he just. He couldn't give it up. He couldn't give that girl up.
SPEAKER_05He was in love. Ginger put that prostitute love on him. She wasn't a prostitute? She was a prostitute.
SPEAKER_01She was, oh, she wasn't a prostitute. She was a prostitute. She worked the room. She didn't show no. No. Ginger was a prostitute. They didn't show no scene when she went up to the rooms.
SPEAKER_05Ginger was a prostitute. He should have never married her. She turned his little world upside down.
