What's up everybody? Welcome back to another episode of the Plus Money Sports Betting Podcast. My name is Q. You can follow me on all socials at BettsPyQ, and of course, this podcast is brought to you by Black Sheep Betting, where it is a dog's world. How about the Mastros last night? Rocky start to the week. We bounced back on a Tuesday. We had the Astros minus one and a half on the run line plus 140. They won by eight. Okay. So I mean that was a fairly easy read. Um wasn't even close. Uh got off to an early start, home run in the first. Jordan had a handful of RBIs. Um, just a really, really good game, really good performance from the Astros. And uh, you know, uh Brian Bello wasn't even able to last more than you know two, three innings. So we got to the starter early, which means that we got to the bullpen even earlier. Um, so uh an all-around good game, it's a good handicap to watch coming up today. I don't love the matchup today, um, because you know, with the Astros, it you know, naturally you would think, well, they beat up the Red Sox yesterday, they got to the starter early, we're working through the bullpen. But I mean, today you get the workhorse on the mound, Garrett Crochet for Boston. So it in any other scenario in which you know a team wins by eight, and then the team that lost, you know, ran through their bullpen the f you know, on a back-to-back the next day, I'm normally gonna be betting, you know, doubling down on the Astros. I'm not gonna be doing that today because of the pitching matchup with Garrett Crochet. So um a lot of you might be wondering when I give out the play, oh, why isn't he going back to Houston? Um for a good reason, I guess that is, you know. Um, anyways, uh before we get into the play, um, you gotta get into the discord, man. I mean, look, human error happens, you know. I try to be very consistent with the podcast. I've missed a few days in the last couple of weeks, alright? But guess what I haven't missed? I haven't missed dropping my plays in the Discord. I'm in there, I'm active, normally in the tennis channel, late at night, early in the morning. Um, but yeah, we'd love to have you in there. I mean, uh, my buddy Will, um, he's the one that hosts the the Discord. It's absolutely free. Um, no catch. I mean, we just share our bets, celebrate our wins, cope with our losses when we need to. Um, put some really sharp minds in there, uh, closing in on a thousand members. So uh definitely come join us. It's absolutely free. We talk sports 24-7, 365 every hour of every single day. Um, and of course, I have the VIP off to a hot start this year, okay. Up around 35 units, um, you know, last check. Um, but yeah, we're stringing along these wins, okay. We are taking our chances when we need to, um, but it's a place for where value trumps volume, it's not a place for 10k challenges or parlays. We're not gonna break the bank overnight and retire. Um, but it is a place where you are gonna get the best bang for your buck, right? We're gonna get value, everything's gonna be plus money. Um, but yeah, there's a little bit of something for everybody, so don't feel like you gotta like empty your pockets to join the VIP. I got a$15 package, I got a$500 package, I got a$75 package, um, with some free trials as well. So, um, again, I'd love to have you in the VIP, but let's talk about tonight. Alright, Yankees versus Mariners, the total is set here at seven and a half, alright. I'm looking at this as you know, setting up as a really, really clean pitching duel between George Kirby and Cam Schittler. Um, the uh pitching sensation for the Yankees. So you got Kirby on one side, one of the best, you know, strike throwers in baseball, a guy that doesn't really want to um you know hang the ball uh too much in front of the plate. Um he doesn't need himself, all right? He limits walks, he works deep deep in the games, um and even when he's not perfect, you know, he keep th he keeps things controlled, all right. That's exactly the kind of arm that can neutralize um a Yankee lineup that you know thrives on mistakes and free passes. I mean, this is a Yankees team that like when they get on base, like they're gonna take advantage of it. So, you know, best to give up the solo home run um and not you know have runners on base. So on the other side, you've got Schittler. He's been lights out to start the year, all right? No walks, I think one hit allowed in 5.1 uh innings pitched to uh start the season. He had eight strikeouts, uh but more importantly, then the strikeouts and not allowing the hits when he does get any con when you know when batters are getting contact on the ball, it's just super weak. Alright, I think that that's a problem for this Mariners team that is already struggling to generate consistent offense. I mean, we saw that last night, they got blanked. I mean, they're a very boom or bust kind of team right now when it comes to the bats, and they've been like this for the last couple of years, right? I mean, this has been all about you know, the Mariners are long ball or no ball at all. All right, I mean, you got Cal Raleigh hit 60 home runs last year. Um they don't even make it to the to the NLCS, you know, um stacked lineup, but they just can't all consistently make contact with the ball. Um and and you know, string hits together. The Yankees, you know, that's what they do. They string hits together. They're not really a home run or bust kind of team. They're gonna take advantage of the mistakes that a team makes. Um, so I mean, for Seattle going up against Schlitzer, with them being kind of a long ball or no ball team, it it just doesn't, it's not a great formula um against the pitcher who's not giving you base runners. Okay, so even if you do hit one or two, they're likely gonna be solo, two run shots, if anything. Um, but when you zoom out of this, you get both of these teams. Um, bullpen's um have been, you know, at least the early returns on the bullpens have been relatively strong, um, especially from the Yankees. So um even if the starters only go you know five, six innings here, I think you're still in good shape with uh fresh, effective arms, you know, coming in behind them. So um I know I said it already, but another angle here is Seattle got shut out 5-0 yesterday. The lineup is getting pressed a little bit. You know, when teams start pressing, they tend to chase um a little bit more. So you might see some desperation swings from the Seattle lineup um as they try to expand the zone. Um they could just play right into to Schlitzer's arm um tonight. So um total here is sitting at seven and a half. I know it's a low number. I think by the time it's all said and done, this will be at seven exactly. Um I think it's fair. I think it's a fair number given the circumstances. I know people are looking at that Aaron Judge and John Carlos Stanton batting 500, and they're like, oh, this Yankees team is probably gonna pour it on them, and and maybe they do, but I don't think you're gonna get a lot. I think you need in order for this to clear the total, I think you need Seattle to get three, four runs. I don't think that we're gonna get that, so I'm gonna bet the under seven and a half at minus one oh five on DraftKings right now. Um, I'm gonna put one unit on that. So uh one unit on the under seven and a half. I think it's playable to seven. All right, I think we get like a three-two, four-two type of game here. I think runs are earned truly here. They're not given. Um, so to play for me here, Yankees versus the Mariners under seven and a half minus one oh five for one unit. Alright, one play on the board, one unit in play. We're on the under at the Yankees and the Mariners game. Um, I'll be back here tomorrow with more plus plenty plays from around the sports world. As always, my name is Q from Black Sheep Betting, and I hope each and every one of you hit each and every one of your bets.
unknownPeace.
