SPEAKER_03

You found temple tea, a ceremony in every cup.

SPEAKER_01

I'm the muse, tuning to what lives between the lines.

SPEAKER_03

And I'm the medicine, honoring what's hidden and holding what's heavy.

SPEAKER_01

This is where the spirit speaks and the body listens.

SPEAKER_03

Welcome to the temple.

SPEAKER_01

Welcome back to Temple Tea. This is episode 34. 34. Um, here today we have the medicine, the muse, and Mariah. Now we will introduce Mariah a little bit more, a couple minutes from now. Um, but you know, here's our usual, our usual, what's in your cup? Tell us the tea. I'm gonna start because mine always is crazy. I am drinking a bag of tea from Hmart. Um, it's some kind of peach something. It has a little penguin on it. It's all written in, I think, Chinese. I'm not really sure.

SPEAKER_03

Um, are you a hundred percent sure it's tea?

SPEAKER_01

Nope.

SPEAKER_03

Okay, that's exciting.

SPEAKER_01

Nope. I I can't read the I should have taken a picture and like ran it through Chat GPT to see exactly what language. I mean, it could be Korean, it could be Japanese. I I don't really know what that writing said on the back, but it's peach and it has a penguin, and I think it's tea is brown. I don't think there's red dye 40 in it. Um, yeah, that's what I'm drinking in my cup.

SPEAKER_03

Love it. And you I have a tea by Lock and Key that I just absolutely love the name of. It's called Chill the Fuck Out, and it is a blend of peppermint, lemon balm, St. John's wart, chamomile, blue lotus, and lavender. And um, I've added my agave and raw milk, and it's quite delicious. It once again looks like a bag of grass clippings, um, but even without milk and sweetener, um, it's very good. And you can buy it at their website, lockkeyapothecary.com. So now the big question for Mariah: what's in your cup? All right, and welcome to the show.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, thank you. So excited to be here. You know, I love listening to the show, so listening to you two open right now, I feel like I'm just listening to audio on my phone, but here we go. I'm gonna participate. Um I am drinking a matcha latte that I made. It was an impulse Costco by. They had this giant bag of matcha powder, and I was like, huh, I feel like I could use that in my life and didn't have any weird fillers, and it was organic, so that's been my go-to with some oat milk and some honey.

SPEAKER_03

Nice.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, very satisfying. It's a little bit of a sleepy day, so this is gonna help.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it is kind of sleepy for sure. That's been um Lucy's go-to recently. She does matcha and then chills it and then adds milk and puts it in like the largest Stanley that she owns, and drinks that throughout the day, which is pretty funny.

SPEAKER_01

Delicious. I have some matcha. I've okay, I've been drinking the Tazo matcha that's like liquid that you mix with milk or whatever you want. But I bought some matcha powder and I was telling my friend, he is from China originally. He's in the United States Air Force now. He came to America and got his citizenship when he was 16. Um, but he grew up in China anyway. He was like, Oh, you bought this. He was like, Did you buy that? And he's like making hand motions. He I think that he's talking about this little whisk thing, you know, and I wish that we have video because I'd be like, No, I don't have a, you know, and he's like, Well, then I'll have to buy you a thing. So anyway, I haven't used my matcha because I don't have one of those little things, and um, I don't know what to do with it. So I yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Is it like one of those mechanical whiskers or whatever?

SPEAKER_01

No, it's this little handheld thing, and no, I'm gonna have to send you a picture like we always do. I don't know what it looks like. It looks like a dish scrubber, okay, but it's not. I don't I don't know what I can't explain it, but I'm gonna send you a picture and then you're going to tell the world. Oh, oh look, I thought it was wire. It's not, it's made out of wood.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's fancy.

SPEAKER_01

Um, okay, I swear we're almost there. So close. Okay, describe this thing.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, it's yeah, I know. It's like uh it's like a bristled mortar and pestle.

SPEAKER_01

But it's wood.

SPEAKER_03

I think that's I mean like a way like a wood old-fashioned whisk and bowl, and I don't know what the other thing is, but I have seen exactly what you're talking about. Yeah, so that's pretty cool.

SPEAKER_01

I don't have a like I have the matcha powder. Why do I need to whisk it? I I don't understand.

SPEAKER_03

I think that's I don't know. Maybe Mariah can tell us is I think that like whisking or frothing matcha is important, and maybe it's an oxidization thing. I I don't know much about it, but yeah, I'm not sure.

SPEAKER_02

I think it's ceremonial to me. I do froth it, but I don't have a nice whole mortar on pestle situation. I have like a little you stick the wire thing in and it spins and it makes it yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Nice. Right on.

SPEAKER_03

Well, um, we have a guest, and now you've heard what she's has in her cup, but we want to know more about you. So tell us about the plastic, um, tell us about like surface level, the work that you're doing now, and we'll briefly remind our viewers or tell our viewers so that you can um compound on it that you are studying in the same um shamanic lineage as us now.

SPEAKER_01

So wait, tell us about sorry, let me pop in. I gotta share this with our listeners. This is the second guest that Ren has invited, and he's like, Do you know what this person does? And I'm like, I have no idea. So, listeners, I'm with you on this one. This is brand new to me, okay? I am being just as surprised as you are. So, Mariah, go ahead and educate me.

SPEAKER_02

So, what do I do? Um, well, I do I wear many different hats. So, for a while now I've been a clinical massage therapist and just kind of working in their realm of pain and um always doing some energetic projects on the back end, you know, understanding people's stress, clearing stress um quietly and secretly because they come in and they're like, my cervical nerves are impinged, and I'm like, okay, and so we work on that. But um, it's been super confounding. I started off in psychology um back in the day because I had pretty significant health issues when I was younger that impacted um stress, anxiety, hallucinations, all sorts of crazy things related to my thyroid. So I really had to train myself early on how to breathe and meditate without you know really knowing what exactly I was doing to help me cope with reality. So I was like, okay, I'm gonna go to school for psychology. And I was in that and it was an amazing experience. However, I did not finish because my dad got sick, and you know, with illness and death, it really makes you analyze, you know, how are you showing up in the world and what can you do, you know, in life that's most important for your time. And so I stopped going to school and I was like, you know, bumbling about. And I was at work one day and I was waiting tables, and a manager walked up to me and went, You're not wearing a name tag. And I went, huh, I quit. I'm going to school for a massage.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And um, just on a whim, you know, I hadn't even been considering that. And I went to school, and that was a super transformational experience. I mean, you're showing up and and doing the work physically to help yourself, you know, recover from mental, emotional, physical pain. And you know, we did all sorts of super fun stuff like craniosacral therapy and chakancing, and um, chakra balancing was really cool and cranio, really, because you would go into these quiet experiences with people, and you know, you'd finish your session and you'd come out and you'd be like, Oh, I saw this field with a house in it, and grass blowing in the breeze, and there was a forest pine, and there are rocks along the forest, and you draw a picture, and then someone draws a picture on the other side of what they saw, and so many times there would be matching pictures on either sides of the board, and you're like, dang, that's that's pretty cool, you know. There's really something to this. And when I went into massage, I really didn't even like being touched, so that had a massive curve in healing for me. And so here I am doing massage for a few years, and I am washing dishes in my kitchen, and I was like, I need to learn how to play singing bowls. And I'd always been fascinated with Nepal. I think that's a past life thing. And there's a school in North Boulder that teaches in-person singing bowl classes called Alma Booty, and I was like, wow, that's really convenient. All right, I'm gonna go. And it just like these compounding experiences of really deep healing and I don't know, crazy transformation. So I went through a bunch of series of training with them and utilize singing bowls in person for just singing bowl sessions. I don't really bring them into my massage sphere. It's kind of its own little entity. Um and it just helps people tune in, you know, it helps with the physical release from the vibration of the bowls and it alters your brainwave states because I mean, sound just really does influence what's going on in our brain and allows us to kind of show up a little differently. And um, when you get to experience rest and relaxation, that's when that kind of innate healing happens.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So here I am. I'm going, all right, I'm gonna play bowls at the Body Mind Spirit Fair. And I go, and I think it's my first time there in Healer's Way doing my same bowl thing and uh loving it totally. And across the way is our teacher.

SPEAKER_05

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

And I I went in and I was like, Oh, you know, I don't think I'm gonna work with anybody. I'm just here to work, and I'm in the middle of session with someone, and it was another one of those messages that was like, go talk to Jerry. Yeah, like, all right, well, here we go. I'm gonna go talk to Jerry. And so I sat down, and I'm sure she gets this a lot. I was like, I was told to be here, and I feel like you can really help me. And she was like, Okay. And so I kind of launched, and I'm like, I see things, I hear things, I know things, um, and I don't know what any of it means, and I feel like a crazy person. And she kind of laughs, you know, she does her laugh thing, and we launch into session, and you know, just receiving the messages and like feeling the healing that really wasn't hands-on um was super empowering. And I was like, wow, this is this is next level. So I sat on it for a while, and then I reached out to her a few months later and we connected and I asked questions and was a little hesitant because of you know the the cultural appropriation thing. I was like, I don't know if I really want to enter a shamanic training when I'm, you know, not Peruvian. And so she told me to read the book. Was it the Andean Codes that Marcella wrote?

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, sacred Andean Codes.

SPEAKER_02

Sacred Andean Codes. Yeah, and I, you know, as she's going through it, it really felt like it was beyond that. You know, the lineage and the teaching is so amazing and empowering, and it gave me a lot of comfort for her to be like, you know, yes, you're going through this training, but you're also connecting with, you know, your teachers' guides and your teachers' teachers and all of your guides and your lineage, and just helping to reinforce that connection that is meant to be shared with everyone. And I was like, Okay, I think I can do this. And wow, the wheel. Um, how do you describe people? I would come out of weekends, right? And people are like, What did you do? And um, you're like, Well, we meditated and we went on death journeys and fire ceremonies and sand paintings, and I feel like a new person. And they're like, Okay.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I wrote my eulogy and yeah, right.

SPEAKER_02

Um, and it was an experience to say the least, but I mean, every step of the way was so powerful of you know, doing the shadow work for, you know, the good and the bad, and the transformation and learning how to be in your power and showing up with people and just speaking and communicating back and forth, because in this massage field, you for the most part are working quietly and you're thinking things, and sometimes you say things, but you're not going like more often than not in the work that I do. Um going, well, I'm seeing you know, purple elephants with like sparkly painted toenails. What does that mean to you? Right, right, right, sure and having conversations around the experience of the work is really brings in that somatic healing of seeing, hearing, feeling, and then giving them tools with this is what I'm getting from you, and this is what my guides are telling you. And like, how do we kind of reinforce this healing in your life? So um, you know, life is interesting, it just takes you from one thing to the next, and I feel very fortunate that I listened to the messages because it's been awesome.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, so cool.

SPEAKER_01

I have some questions. Ask all the questions. Well, one is a comment. There was a person next to me at um Art and Soul, and I don't know, she was doing this health stuff. Anyway, she um she's very intuitive, right? And so she does like a body scan, just looking, she doesn't touch you. So, you know, intuitively, like, oh, is this messed up or that messed up? So she concluded that I have parasites, probably came from red dye 40, but whatever. Um, and so she's like, You you need to do like parasite cleanse. And she was like, you know, I recommend this one or that one. And she was like, Can I ask you a personal question? Sure, of course, whatever. I summon, you know, dragons. Yeah, you can ask me whatever, lady. Um, and she's like, Where are you at on your healing journey? You know, because that's gonna depend on which one I recommend to you. And I'm like, I said, Well, I mean, like we always have work to do, but I'm thinking I'm a girl. I just went through the medicine wheel. Like, there's I'm healed, like I'm a good, like I'm I'm good, my guy. Anyway, I was just like, Yeah, like pretty good, pretty good. I just left it at that because I wasn't gonna really go into, you know, all of that. But of course, at the same time, you don't want to be like, well, yeah, like I'm healed. Like, what's wrong with you? Why are you not healed? You know. Um, so I just kept it at, you know, well, we always have work to do. However, comma, I'm pretty good. So that was the comment, just thinking about the wheel. I wish that you would have been part of our wheel episode that we did a couple episodes ago. You could have chimed in, but we'll we'll come back to that. Where are you located?

SPEAKER_02

I am in Louisville, Colorado. So, like the center point between Denver Boulder.

SPEAKER_01

What's your business name?

SPEAKER_02

I have two separate businesses. So the energy healing side, where I'm doing kind of more of that heavy energy clearing singing bowl situation, is called the Sound and Energy Healing Center. And then the clinical office with all the microcurrent neurostimulation therapy and massage therapy and salt and sauna is called Boulder Valley Massage Specialist.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, I'm writing this down.

SPEAKER_03

And there's a physical location.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there is a physical location. I'm really excited to like branch out into the remote healing because you know, I have these sessions with our teacher, and I'm like, this is so nice because you're not distracted, right? You're like, I'm in my space, in my comfortable spot, and you can feel the work, you know. I know you both know, but it's just so cool working on that quantum energetic uh field. And I never thought that I would, you know, I was always a little weird and like, oh, I probably see ghosts or know how people feel, but whatever. Because I was super clinical in school, you know. And here I am getting further and further and further away from hyperclinical work and stepping more into this energy field of healing because I feel like that is a part of the holistic healing that happens. You know, you need Western and Eastern medicine to reach your fullest health. And we have a lot of um, we have a lot of Western medicine out there.

SPEAKER_01

I am getting a master's in Ayurveda and integrative medicine. I'm almost done. Um I'll be finished in June. You had talked about Nepal, and like it made me think about that. But I spend a lot of my time complaining, I guess, about Western medicine. Um not complaining. I do, I mean, I really do. But like in my papers that I write for this class, you know, I'm like, why would they recommend Ashwagandha? The FDA doesn't regulate it and they can't make money off of it. So that's why you're not seeing it heavily promoted in Western medicine. Like I turn it into all that. But um have you thought about okay? Let me just pause. I went to see someone, she is in Lafayette. Uh-huh. Um, she's at the yoga place that I go to. She's a yoga instructor, but she also does some Ayurveda um type of massages, um, Abianga, and she she does all the things. She does this um, I don't know what it's called. It's like a Chinese like stomach massage.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, I don't know.

SPEAKER_01

I did, I don't know that it has a name. Um, but when she does her massages and stuff, she also incorporates her singing bowls. Do you do that?

SPEAKER_02

Um, I really don't because you know, it's in my massage work, most of the time people are coming in and they're like, you know, I was referred by my physical therapist, and you know, we're working around her native discs or nerve impingements or um post-surgical recovery. So it's pretty well saturated in time for work that I can't really kind of get out of that. But um I'll be afterwards like, oh, you know, singing bowls or heavy energy clearings or whatever, what have you could benefit you on this journey that you're on. And sometimes they're into it, and sometimes They're not, and it just is what it is, you know. Everybody has their lane, so but having the bravery to be like, actually, um, I think you have like three portals open above your head, and you know, right that's like sending you down this, you know, path. But I mean, that's talked about in wide range in school too. The you know, the body keeps the score, and a lot of pain that we have is how we hold ourselves and how we move ourselves, and that's linked to beliefs. And I mean, you could just go down the rabbit hole of what is the physical experience.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, I talk about that book a lot, actually.

SPEAKER_02

I feel like that was a hard book to read.

SPEAKER_01

That was you know what's worse than reading it, listening to it on Audible. Um, the person they did not choose a good narrator for it, and yeah, I'll leave it at that. But then next time I see you, ask me to play some of it for you. And oh, okay, yeah. Um, okay, so your energy healing, do you do that? Do you have a place like a location? Where do you do this?

SPEAKER_02

I do it in the same office.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

So we have a three-room office, and um, yeah, I have a room set up with the singing bowls and everything, but honestly, I'm using them really. I the only time I use them right now is if someone is coming in distinctly for like the vibrational therapies. So I'm placing the bowls on the body or rubbing the bowls on the body, and that's focused. But when people are coming in for energy healing now, more often than not, we're just using the bowls in the beginning to help kind of like orient and ground and change our brainwave state and you know, slow down a little bit and kind of enter that trance state so that we can have a conversation around the work. Because I mean, singing bowl therapy too is like you're very quiet and you're very slow and you're just listening to the bulls, but now the bulls are showing it more of a as a supporting cast than the the main shindig, you know what I mean? Right.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, so I'm sorry, I have all the questions. Jeff, he knows all the things, like I don't know the things.

SPEAKER_03

I love I love hearing it, and yeah, I was I'm when I bought in, it's gonna be just to talk about the work, you know. I got to experience um uh uh a sound bowl session with Mariah. And um, we did that in in exchange after first meeting, and um yeah, so I love the questions that you have. I have a few, but um I'm a I'm a little bit more learned since we've spent some time together.

SPEAKER_02

He heard my whole life story in the QHAT.

SPEAKER_03

I did, I did, and I'm blessed for that.

SPEAKER_02

So I'm blessed. That was an awesome experience. Talk about also empowering and super gentle, you know? Yeah, I feel like it's really easy to get lost in some of this energy work where it's like really harsh almost, or like really shaking things up to have revelations. But that one was like, Oh yeah, you're kind of just like out there and you're seeing things and it's relaxing and you feel safe. I don't know, it was it was really nice. I wasn't like sobbing uncontrollably, like it would have been okay, but right, right, yeah, yeah, it's good stuff, it is good stuff, but yeah, singing bowls. I mean, with the metal bowls, the thing that's really cool too is that they do hold resonance and vibrate for a really long time. And talking about the bowl specifically, crystal bowls kind of oscillate between their harmonic first and third, so that's why you get like the wah wah wah wah sound with singing bowl uh crystal balls, but metal bowls really create all harmonics, uh and it's just a little bit of a different vibe, a little more grounding, I call it. Well, I'll bring in a crystal bowl of if you know people are trying to commune with aliens or things like that because they feel very etheric to me. Um yeah, but the vibration gets in there and helps stimulate cell regeneration and ease tension and it helps you really feel embodied. You know, a lot of times things are so heady, heady, heady, heady, and so just helping people get into their bodies is major. Yeah, I agree. I am very thankful that this was an option for me to learn.

SPEAKER_03

And so cool to hear your pathway unfold to it. And you just have, again, since we and and you know, so that our listeners know, um while the Muse does not have um insight or or knowledge of you know Mariah's day-to-day work, we've definitely met and we've enjoyed fire ceremony before and some shamanic gatherings, and so this isn't a first-time meeting, but I must say, you know, I'm I I just remember um we met at the fair and um I snagged your card, and I just knew right away that we were gonna work together, and that's because, and I think I told you in our session, like I selfishly like, especially when it's lineage people, to offer, you know, QHHT because of its impact and power, and I love working with other practitioners, and then you were gracious enough to offer a trade, of which even though I think I reached out and I was like, hey, not to be weird, but you should come for a session, and you were like, Yes, great, and you and you too, but then my session with you got booked before your session with me. And um it was when I came that I think two weeks from then was a fire ceremony, and so here we are interacting for the 20th, 30th minute total of time that we had ever interacted on this planet or in this in this lifetime, uh and I'm like, you should come to my house for a fire ceremony, and the the point of the converse, this particular conversation is just you have this amazing um like attitude of kind of like yes, and it's and it's just so soft and understanding, and you're like, I would love to do that. I love fire ceremonies, and I'm like, great, and no offense, but like a lot of people say that, and then I just wonder as I leave if they're like, Whoa, I'm not going to that for sure. That sounds scary, or like, I don't know this person, and why would I do something like that? But then I texted you and you're like, absolutely, and then you came a few days later, hadn't had your session, and it just really synced up with what you share with our listeners, and we, you know, I was blessed to be a part of hearing this like life, just like you said, following the breath breadcrumbs, you know, allowing each door to open, you know, and get to the threshold and walk through it, not necessarily, you know, knowing where or why things are going where they're gonna go, but having this trust and um just this open attitude of like the universe gives what I'm supposed to do. And so all of that has been awesome. And you know, now I think it was within like 10 minutes that we texted you about being on the show, and you're like, Yep. So all good stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was just so excited to be invited, and you know, I love the community that you're building, and just having an outlet for talking about these things with people is a game changer, and being in ceremony together and you know, taking time to honor the earth and come together. I mean, that's a super powerful healing mechanism in itself. So I also am very appreciative that it's hosted, that you host it. So and um I'm a very Sagittarius person too, so I'll do pretty much anything.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, right on.

SPEAKER_02

Love that, but yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Well, Muse, you were you had some questions lined up. I'm at the part of the show where I'm I want to do, I have some off-the-beaten path, silly questions, but do you have anything for Mariah, you know, before we get into, you know, like what color hair would she have if she could pick any color?

SPEAKER_02

Yes, I'm curious.

SPEAKER_03

She might be muted right now, too.

SPEAKER_02

Um I would definitely do rainbow.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, yep.

SPEAKER_03

Well, that then I'm gonna offer, I'm gonna start it off.

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no, no, no, no, stop. She's back. I've been talking, I have been talking and asking questions, and I just told you to take a seat, and it wasn't until you said maybe she's muted that I'm like, oh shit, I'm muted. Yes, no. I have a whole host of questions.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, well, I'm not done. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um, you don't do any remote work at this time?

SPEAKER_02

I'm starting to. Yeah, I'm really starting to dip my toes into that. I had a session the other day with somebody that was in person, but in the middle of the session, I was like, I feel like we need to clear your house. And so we kind of, you know, went into trance, and I'm seeing this house, and I'm like, oh, that's interesting. The antiques in the living room and the the sheer curtains blowing in the wind and this spot in your kitchen. And and I go in and you know, kind of do whatever, clear the space and close the stuff, and I come back and I'm describing it to him, and he's like, That's my house. Whoa, you know, these little cool like reminders or affirmations that like it's not all in your head, you can't make this up. It's like showing up in reality, proving itself real. So I think remote is very amazing and an awesome resource. And I'm seriously considering going to the body mind spirit that's in Honolulu in the beginning of May. Maybe I'll get some remote work there.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. Stop it.

SPEAKER_03

I was I mean, that doesn't sound half bad, not gonna lie.

SPEAKER_01

No, okay. I shut up, shut up, Jeffrey. I was thinking about body, mind, spirit, and Honolulu really, as well. But my birthday is the the beginning of May, and Mother's Day is the beginning of May, and then middle of May, there's Longmont, and just going into my summer, it's just super congested. But yes, everything in me was like, I want to get on that plane and go do body mind over there. I can't make this up. Um there was another one, there's a couple others that I was looking at, but yeah, Honolulu just didn't work out for me, but that's very interesting. Okay, let me keep going. Yeah, aliens. Tell me your thoughts on aliens.

SPEAKER_02

Aliens. Um, well, it's funny you asked that question. So I had a major phobia of aliens when I was little. Like I was convinced that they were gonna come in the night and like abduct me. So I would like close the windows and like lock the things and like hide underneath piles of blankets because I was like, the aliens will not find me, I will not be abducted, I refuse. And then when I was a little bit older, I was probably around 14, I was spending the night at a friend's house, and we were going to sleep, and I was like, There is some weird flashing light outside your window. And she was like, Oh, okay, whatever. You know, I don't say anything. And I was like, You're crazy. And so we go to sleep, and their aliens were in the room. And I was like, This is my worst nightmare. Yeah, so um, yeah, I think they're out there and real. I mean, I feel like it would be kind of funny to say that the whole universe doesn't have any other living life, so aliens, yeah, I believe.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Next, tell me about your guide team. My what? Your guide team? Do you have a guide team?

SPEAKER_02

Guide team. Um yeah, I have quite a few animals, which makes sense to me. Um I have a badger that hangs out with me. I have I've always loved horses, so horse energy is really strong for me. Um, actually listening to one of the podcasts that you suggested, it was like the Norse mythology one, because I'm very Nordic in my kind of genetic string for this life. There were so many things that I was hearing on there that I was like, whoa, I do have like a fixation with trees, or you know, oh, I do believe in these flying weird things. And the only way that that makes sense is that that's probably a part of my lineage. You know, I was an Icelandic person and I came from a tree, you know, somewhere down the line. So uh tree spirits are very strong for me. When I first started the wheel, a Aborigine spirit came to me, and he's kind of been like my strongest go-to. And yeah, but I wouldn't really say that I like know them all by name. I love all of the taras, green tar, white tar. Um, I love mantra because I do a lot of yoga, so you know, medicine buddha or things like that. That's kind of my team that I ask help for with. But then I do a lot of work just asking directly from source, source energy or light energy, or um it's interesting to see who pops up for people, you know. Is it Mary Magdalene? Is it Mother Mary? Is it Pachamama? So I think that also is a really cool avenue for connecting with guides beyond like my own team.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's funny that you talked about animals because I kind of went out of line with guide team. And so I have aliens and then going up spirit animal. So you just talked about animals. I was going to ask, what's your spirit animal?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, badger and horses are real strong for me. I think badger was the very first one that I was like, you know, when we did our power animal journey. That was my that was my buddy, and I followed the badger down into the underworld, and he was, you know, showing me truths.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah. And then my last question of the real question. I know that these don't sound like real questions, but they really are part of my real questions. Dragons. Tell me about your thoughts on dragons. Do you work with dragons?

SPEAKER_02

Um, I do not actively work with dragons. Um yeah, that's just I believe that they're out there as like an energetic force for people, but I wouldn't really say that dragons show up a whole lot for me. Fairies, but not really dragons.

SPEAKER_01

I like that. There's someone, she I met her at the Love Line Body Mind Spirit, and she was down at Art and Soul Dirty Fairy Designs. Um, I was really sad that she didn't have any of her fairy wings, but I bought some fairy wings off of her. So if you look her up on Instagram, you should check out her fairy stuff. Okay. Okay. Jeff, I am so sorry that I cut you off so rudely. I told you to shut up about Hawaii. Like, shut up. I want to stop it. And then, you know, you want to ask your silly questions, and I cut you off. I'm so very rude. And you're not going to be able to do that.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I have a couple normal ones and then I and then silly. So the I mean, these are the they're lighthearted. So the first one I wanted to ask, because I think I know the answer, but I want to I want to ask again um your sound bowls, the metal ones, or really whatever you want to answer. What what one would you say is your favorite and why? And if you want to break it out, what is your favorite like to use for a client and why? And then, like, what selfishly is you're just like, this is the most badass one, and what's the reason?

SPEAKER_02

You two both ask such good questions and make this so fun. Um, my favorite singing balls? I mean, they're staring at me right now, so they're gonna be like, uh, what do you mean? But and they do talk to me, you know. If I am in session on the rare and I'm like, okay, I just need to play a bowl for a second, and I just like because it's like, hello, just play me for two minutes, and I'm like, all right, fine. So they each own kind of have an identity. Um, four of them I brought from Nepal myself. Um oh wow. Yeah, so I landed in Kathmandu. I haven't slept in like 49 hours. And, you know, we're all meeting because we're gonna do clinics together. And this guide is like, You're looking for singing bowls? I'm gonna take you to the store right now. And so we're like walking down the streets of Kathmandu, and I'm like sleep deprived, but um, you're doing it anyway, right? And I walk into this store and they just have like stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks and stacks of bowls, and I look at this one bowl like a third of a way down a stack, and I was like, I want to hear that bowl. And so we take it out, and I get bowls that are in 440 tone and 432. So 440 is like the musical standard, and 432 is like the quote healing standard. So if you get a bowl that is in both of those in the same note, then it's considered a pure bowl. So it was a pure bowl, and I was like, this is coming home with me, and it rubbed really well. Rubbing is really important. Um, for my metal bowls, I don't rub them for like the pitch, like the I rub them for the vibrational quality, and do they rattle or do they um do they produce high tone? And this one just like rubbed so nicely, and I was like, Oh yes. And so I have a moon bowl from Nepal and a few other ones, but I mean, they really each have their own personality since they are all in the tone or the key that they're meant to be for 440 and 432. It's really a family that you build out of bowls. Do they work together? Um, are they connecting together? Are they creating nice harmonics? Um, because harmonics helps with nice smooth healing as opposed to dissonance is kind of disruptive. Um, and you create dissonant tones when you're I'm sorry, I'm getting really hyper technical.

SPEAKER_03

Um I love it, I love it though. So cool.

SPEAKER_02

Um, you would get like dissonant tones if you played like a C and a D together, that's just like not the best match. So you want to kind of follow the cycle of fifths and music. So you're playing in thirds, fourths, fifths, sevenths. Um yeah, so I mean they each have their own purpose and use, and they each all you know connect to a chakra. So if someone has something going on in their heart chakra, I'm gonna use that bowl. If they have something going on in their root, they have that bowl. Um, the way that I learned was Tibetan chakra system as opposed to like Vedic chakra system. So the notes are a little bit different, but even if I play one bowl, it is impacting every single chakra in the system because it eventually makes that note. So I mean, you can really do lots of healing work with just one bowl. I happen to have like 13 bowls, and then my big mother bowl, which is like 23 inches that people can stand in. That's the one that I bring to fairs all the time. And people just love that one, and it just like helps them tune in real quick because it is so powerful. But mother bowl. Does that answer your question?

SPEAKER_03

That's such a good yeah, that's a great answer. I didn't I did not know, um, not that I would, um, that you had actually been to Nepal to get some of those bulls. So I love hearing the story um behind them. And yeah, I I I can now say I did not really I now I do, but before I I did not know anything about singing bulls.

SPEAKER_02

So yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

You've you've enlightened us for sure.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Nepal was amazing. It's probably one of my favorite places that I've ever been to. It was just so steeped in you know, culture and and spiritual orientation and reverence and just the beauty behind it. And right after I started going to school for you know to learn in Nepali culture these singing bowls, I got invited to do clinic in Nepal, like totally separately. So it was super serendipitous.

SPEAKER_03

That's awesome.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I can't please.

SPEAKER_03

So quasi briefly, although this is a deep question. The I I I was reading your about page as we were getting introduced, and I wanted to know before you told us about um the Atma Bhuti singing, and I and that is a Sanskrit phrase for soul medicine. So tell us what is give us give us Mariah's take on what soul medicine embodies or means.

SPEAKER_02

Soul medicine. Um that's a really good question. So I think that that can mean so many different things. You know, we are souls that are encapsulated in this physical body um in all of its remembering and all of its learning potential. And you know, while that is super important, we also have these physical containers to love and nourish and learn from in tandem. So soul medicine I think is when you can show up in situations and be present and live your dharma and follow your path and take lessons for what they are is what's nourishing. So for example, like being present in your experience, I think that's super powerful medicine and being community in presence is also very powering empowering and kind of not falling into the duality of beliefs that kind of take you out of this harmony and yeah, and just unsticking the stuff when it gets stuck. So soul medicine is whatever works for you, right? It's it is the singing bowls, it is massage therapy, it is going to your doctor, it's going to your Ayurvedic practitioner, it's working with shamans, it's like how can you help these things that are in your field and in your body become unstuck so you can be your fully illuminated self is what I would say soul medicine is.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, that's awesome. Yeah, appreciate it. Okay, so um that's what I have for mostly serious questions. Okay, Muse, do you want to start us off with some fun ones? Or do you want me to go?

SPEAKER_01

Well, you've already asked about the hair.

SPEAKER_03

Um Okay.

SPEAKER_01

All right.

SPEAKER_03

Was that really one of your questions?

SPEAKER_01

You'll never know. Um, okay, so but I'm gonna I'm gonna taper off of that one. If you had to get some dreads right now, tell me what they would look like.

SPEAKER_02

Um, I really love braided dreads. Okay, what color? Like how long? Like tell me all the things about your future dreads. Oh man, okay. Well, I used to have super duper long hair, like all the way down to my low back, um, that I cut off last year. And so I would probably go that long again. And what color? I guess I hadn't really thought about it. Probably like closer to my hair color. I don't know. Or maybe I just go in there and I just start grabbing things and I'm like, we're gonna have a hoshbosh of hair situations going on.

unknown

Wow.

SPEAKER_01

All right, that was the first question. The second question that I have. Um, you know how prisoners on death row, they have a final meal. I'm stealing this one because Jeff did this before and I'm stealing one of his. Um, you know how prisoners have meals on, you know, death row, their final meal. Well, tonight you get to have your final meal. What would it be?

SPEAKER_02

Uh wow. Um I wanted to be really out there and be like the flesh of my enemies, but that's not really my personality. So um though it could be a little um I don't know. That's a great question. How weird can I get? What if I was like they come in and they go, Mariah, what's the last thing you want to eat? And I'm like, rocks. Would they really bring me rocks?

SPEAKER_03

You're like, I want you to fly to like this remote village in Nepal and get this one meal that I had that was like amazing, but it has to be authentic.

SPEAKER_01

Exactly. Could buy some more time, okay. Exactly. Well, let me think of a third weird question. You know what? I'm gonna save my third weird question and I'm gonna defer to you, siren. Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Um, my first is if you could be any mythical creature, what would it be? Oh my goodness, or like what's yeah, what like mythical creature like is your avatar or that you would embody?

SPEAKER_02

Uh I'm gonna go with Pegasus because it's a horse that can fly.

SPEAKER_03

That's oh, there you go. Yeah. Okay, very nice, very nice.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Um, this one I I know the answer to, and so this again, I'm teeing this up because I think it's worth a couple minutes for us to kind of just joke with. But um you if you are to design uh like all the all or most of the time ideal weather that you enjoy living in, what is what is that?

SPEAKER_02

I'm well I'm originally from Canada, so I'm gonna go with I think my favorite weather is gray and either snowing or raining.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. And I'm glad that you were honest because I think um, I mean, you and Muse, you guys just can't really travel together or like grow old together, and that's okay because that ideal scenario is so misaligned. But um, that was that was one thing that um yeah, you were honest about a lot because I think the day that we worked together it was like kind of snowy out, and you're like, I just love this and I love the cold, and I do too, but I don't know that I would say like that's how I always want it to be. So I just love how you're like, I want a cold and I want to make snowman most of the time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I mean I can enjoy a good beach, but I mean at the end of the day, that's like my happy place.

SPEAKER_01

But yeah, you want to go to Hawaii. I mean, look at that.

SPEAKER_02

And just enjoying my rogue beach day.

SPEAKER_01

And okay, all right. Hold on, Ren. What would my ideal environment be?

SPEAKER_03

Um, I mean, you you're definitely a cold body, so you're you want warm weather, and I feel, I mean, maybe like quasi tropical.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

If I were to guess. But I know that you like Sedona, which is more dry heat, but you, I mean, I feel like you're you're in this definite like category of people that always want it to be warm. I don't live I can't live in always warm, but um yeah. I feel like if you never saw 65 or below again, that would be completely acceptable for you.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, I think that I mean I grew up in Louisiana, so like during October, it wasn't we didn't have counties, it was parishes, but that was the fair, you know, like what you would think of as a county fair. Um, and so it would always get cold, like okay, so I call it cold, but it was fair weather, like that's just what it was referred to. Um, right. And you get up in the mornings and like it's just really cold and crisp outside, um, and just a bright sunny day, but it's like a fall day. I could deal with that, I suppose, but like I don't want it too hot, all right? Like Sedona was hot. My ideal place would be think Hawaii. I mean, I've never been, but I want some mountains over there, right? I want some green, lots of green. I need so much green. I want the water. Um, if it snowed every now and again, like I'd be okay. I guess. Um, yeah, no, yeah, I'm gonna be in somewhere tropical, but I want some mountains there. Like I don't want flat. So okay. Next question, sir.

SPEAKER_03

That I mean, for the most part, that's what I have for goofy ones.

SPEAKER_01

Really? No, you have to have a third.

SPEAKER_03

Well, I asked the the hair one. I'll think of a third. You do the last one of yours.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, um, who's your favorite shaman on this podcast?

SPEAKER_02

Oh my jeez, please. How would I know? I haven't even worked with you, Frey. Which is so sad.

SPEAKER_01

It's uh I responded to you, but I didn't hit send. I wanted to confess that on air.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's the story of my life. That's cool.

SPEAKER_01

Uh my husband had COVID, my youngest had COVID, my middle kid had the flu. I magically didn't get sick. Um, and then I was in clinicals, and so I responded. So I'm gonna I'll risk I'll hit send. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

I did that to people all the time.

SPEAKER_01

I did that to Anne too. Um, do you remember Anne? Oh, yeah. She's yes, I love Ann, she's very lovely. Um, she messaged me a couple weeks ago asking about my arrangements for our next shaman weekend. And I responded and I said, you know, do you want to stay with me? Like, I'm I'm getting a hotel. Do you want to stay with me? And she didn't respond. And then finally she responded and she was like, Yes. And then she sent a second text that said, or I could make my own arrangement. So I immediately replied and said something to the effect of, no, like, of course, you can stay with me. Um, I'm gonna change hotels. I wanna like this other one's a little bit cheaper, but I also want to see if the energy is a little bit different because energy's been kind of funky. Do you stay at the hotels in town?

SPEAKER_02

Um, I stay up there with the only other person in my group at the comfort in, and that's the only one that I've stayed there. But those like motel hotels are so cute over there. I I would be curious to branch out. Like, what is the energy like there?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so I normally stay at the Hampton Inn there. Uh-huh. But I don't know, I can't explain it. It's super weird. I I'm not gonna use the word haunted, it is not that there's just some energy there. Um so yeah, I'm a little bit just a couple blocks down brand Brown's Canyon Inn, but you've stayed there before, correct, Ren?

SPEAKER_03

Yes, yeah, that one's not bad. I mean, it's not a for me, like it's not as cutesy as just getting the job done at a decent price, but it's kind of cool, and it's a one, you know, it's a single location, like it's not a chain or anything. So I've had that's nice, I've had luck there.

SPEAKER_02

My classmate that I go with, she did not like the Hampton and only stayed there one time before changing over to the Comfort Inn. I did stay at our teacher's house one time, and I feel really bad that I haven't stayed there since because the next morning she was like, How did you sleep? And I was like, I didn't sleep.

SPEAKER_00

Okay.

SPEAKER_05

Oh well, yep.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I was in the room and it was like just a crowd of like entities staring at me while I was sleeping, and so I was like, Oh, this isn't the most relaxing thing in the world. So I hope I didn't hurt her feelings, but no, not the first time she's heard that. I'm sure not.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Alright, I have I have one. Um you have the the name. This is hypothetical. The name Mariah is no longer serving you. There it's it's upgrade time, and so what what is your new like galactic ascended master name?

SPEAKER_02

Um well I really love my middle name. It's Danish. It was my grandmother's name, and it's Incena. I would probably use that, but I couldn't see what the meaning is. I don't remember.

SPEAKER_03

That sounds like fire energy in a nutshell.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that sounds like my personality.

SPEAKER_03

I might start, I'm gonna change your name in my phone to Incena. But you have to text me how to spell it so I don't butcher it.

SPEAKER_02

Like phonetically spell it, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Right, right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's cool. I really should start going by that name, actually. I've been fantasizing about it my whole life, and that's why I added it to my sound and energy healing cards. I was like, you know what? I'm throwing a little bit of Incena in here.

SPEAKER_03

So that's awesome.

SPEAKER_02

We're on the upward trend.

SPEAKER_03

Well, Muse, do you have anything left for Miss Mariah before we sadly part ways?

SPEAKER_01

I'm sorry, who's Mariah?

SPEAKER_03

Oh, right, Incena. Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Um Mariah has left the building. This is now Freya and Cena and Ren.

SPEAKER_05

Right.

SPEAKER_01

There you go. You know, I confuse people, I I mean I don't confuse people, but you know, sometimes I call you Jeff, sometimes I call you Ren.

SPEAKER_03

You know, I man, I think of the no the yeah, you know, the different nomicers.

SPEAKER_01

So what does CZ call you just around the house?

SPEAKER_03

Babe.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, well, if you're in Walmart and she has to get your attention, if she screams babe, a lot of people are gonna look. So what would she use outside of the house?

SPEAKER_03

Wren. She calls me Wren always so sweet.

SPEAKER_01

So sweet. Okay, Mariah, you get to ask us two questions each, then we'll go.

SPEAKER_02

Oh my gosh, I was trying to think of questions. Okay, the spur of the moment. Um spur of the moment question. Shay. Let's see what question is coming up. Oh my gosh, that's so hard. Okay, five lives ago, what were you doing?

SPEAKER_01

So I have parallel lives, actually. Um so I no, I really, this is a new thing. I think that probably five lives ago, I was on the Titanic, and my son told me that I dropped him. And we're in the middle of Art and Soul, and I'm like, I would never drop you. And he said, Yeah, you had to because they were attacking you. And so that was probably five lives ago. I was on the Titanic with my son, and I kind of feel like I was a peasant, honestly, during that life, like the lower class, but I'm not real sure because I haven't really looked at my Titanic life. But that could explain why, like, I like the water, but at the same time, you know, like I drowned, but I think he said that we lived. I'm not real sure, but that could also attribute to why I hate the cold because it was really cold, you know. Um, yeah, that was five lives ago.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Um, Ren, have you added anything new to your mesa?

SPEAKER_03

The only thing that I've added to my mesa is um I have fed um I fed it some of my north fire ashes, but I have not added any additional um stones or other um totems to it yet. But I have I now kind of finally have one in mind that I might want to add.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, do you want to tell us what it is? Or no?

SPEAKER_03

Um Freya will know. When we got close to graduating, I just because I got all like stoked about how cool it was, um, I bought enough youper light for our entire group. That's a stone that when you put um UV on it, it glows.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, cool.

SPEAKER_03

And so we all have little pieces of youper light. And I think my sappy thing was like, so now that we can, you know, glow bright from the inside and always stay connected. Um, and I I kind of want to add it to my Mesa. So it's been chilling the last um week and a half, starting to acclimate itself near the Mesa.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that's pretty cool. That's a good answer. Are you two on your way to your the last class in April? The rights and race.

SPEAKER_03

We are.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, no. Well, no.

SPEAKER_03

It's it's the last it's the last class of classes, and we'll be the first group that's now doing a fifth um clinical weekend. So there'll be a fifth advance that's more just like practicum and check-in.

SPEAKER_02

Are you two going to the June 20th thing? Yes. Yes. Oh, sweet. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Um Mariah, I need you to transpose those questions and ask the opposite question to the other. Ask him my question and ask me his question.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, darn. Okay. I'm just going off on a tangent. Okay, no, no, no.

SPEAKER_01

I no no no. I need I really need you to to do this.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_01

There's a purpose.

SPEAKER_02

I believe you. Um, Shay, have you added anything to your Mesa?

SPEAKER_01

Well, as it turns out, I lost my whole ass Mesa. Um, so my whole Mesa is added. Um, but I do have the Huper light in there.

SPEAKER_02

Okay. Well, yeah. You had to start from scratch.

SPEAKER_01

Um, sort of. Um, have we talked about this on air?

SPEAKER_02

I think you mentioned like nonchalantly in an opening of like, remind me when I misplaced my mesa, but I didn't really go any further than there.

SPEAKER_01

I here's in a nutshell, I did a home clearing in Manitou Springs, like right at the base of the Garden of the Gods. So I pull out of this person's driveway, I drive half a block down, half a block to the left, and then up maybe a mile or so, I'm going there to feed some salt to Pachamama and in my mesa, I carried it in a bag. And so anyway, I unzipped this bag and I took my mesa out. I carried it with me down this trail. I dumped out the salt. I did some light language stuff. I came back up into the parking lot, and then I walked out of the parking lot again. I climbed up on some rocks. And when I say climbed up, I mean I didn't really climb. I just, you know, kind of hopped up on a rock. I took my shoes off, like so I could ground. I took a picture this way, I took a picture that way. I got in my car, I went to a cute little tea shop in Manitou Springs. Then I went to What's her and as I was in line at Whataburger, I looked over and I saw my bag open, and I'm like, oh my gosh. So I go back to the Garden of the Gods, it's dark. I used my flashlight, which my mace is brown leather.

SPEAKER_05

Uh-huh.

SPEAKER_01

And so sitting on the red rock, like you would have seen the difference. Anyway, it wasn't there. Um, I went back the next morning with my husband, checked the garbage cans, like I've called the visitor center. Um And they're they have a store like a general store. Um, I called those places, it was just gone. And so Jerry was in New Zealand at the time. Um, or at least I thought she was, but I thought she was. But regardless, I was like, Yeah, I'm not calling her, I'm not telling her. Jeff was in Sweden at the time, and so I'm like, oh my god, what am I gonna do? And so I just talked to my guides and I was not freaking out, like I could have freaked out about it, but like I stopped myself, right? And so I asked my guides, like, what do I do? And they're like, all that work is in you, it's not in the Mesa, like the Mesa is like representative, right? But all of the work that we did, you know, yeah, the fire ceremonies, the sand paintings, all of that lives within us, right? So all I had to do was um replace everything, and so it was a lot more thoughtful this way, right? Because now it's not okay, bring red, green, and purple rock, you know what I mean? I could actually let me knowing what goes into it, let me pick the right redstone, let me do this. So I spent about a week procuring the things, but so prior to that though, I did a lot of Mesa cum. And now I know why I did a lot of Mesa cum. And the night prior to going down there, I slept with my Mesa in the bed. So, like looking back, like we were saying goodbye, and that's why I was practicing Mesa cum, right? So for that week that I didn't have it, it was still energetically with me. So, anyway, you know, I just I got all the stones and you know, I just I took a moment, like I blew into all of them, and then I put them in little bags and I wrapped up my Mesa and yeah, then I made an extra bag that's in there that has the youper light in it. It has something that Ian gave me is in there, but I have both of those things, like I have a feather anyway. All of these things were in my Mesa bag with the Mesa, so like it was integrating. Um, but yeah, I have a whole new Mesa, so I've added everything. Every single thing in there is added, except for the only thing that I'm missing, but I have a stone that's like representative of it. I don't have the lineage stone. Um but and we were sitting in our shaman class, and somehow that came up. And I said to Jerry, I was like, Jerry, what happens if one loses a Mesa? And she's like, hmm, well, I don't know. I've never had that happen. I said, Well, let me tell you a story, it has happened, and this is what I did. And she was like, Why didn't you call me? I'm like, lady, you're in New Zealand, you know, and she's like, anyway, but I was also kind of chuckling, like, well, you don't know what to do right now. And I posed the question, what were you gonna do in New Zealand? You know, like we would have been in the same situation. So that's what you do. If you um lose a mesa, you call me and I will connect you to my guides and they can tell you how to fix it.

SPEAKER_02

Can you imagine just like finding a mesa and not knowing what it is and like opening it up and being like, Oh, look at all these rocks in here. That's so interesting, you know. Or how many mesa stones or cuyas are in mesas now that were in mesas before in some life?

SPEAKER_03

That's so interesting.

SPEAKER_02

Um I lose everything, so I try not to be overly attached to my mesa, though I love it very much, and it's sitting right here, and I hope that I never lose it. But if it ever happens, I think I'll be mentally prepared to some degree.

SPEAKER_01

Well, and some more synchronicity. I lost that mesa on a Sunday night, and then that Tuesday was our show talking about mesas, and during that show, I asked the question. One of us asked the question, probably me. What happens if we lose a mate? No, it was me. I'm like, what happens if we lose it? Do we have to like have all these separate fire ceremonies again? Like, I had just talked about that, so it's like I knew I subconsciously knew what was coming.

SPEAKER_02

I remember you asking that question.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, well, yeah, and then after I lost it.

unknown

Surprise!

SPEAKER_02

Oh that's what an experience he went through.

SPEAKER_03

Yes, right.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, Ren. What were you doing five lives ago?

SPEAKER_03

As soon as you asked that of Freya, um, I just thought of the Trail of Tears. I know that I had a life, I know that I have a lot of native past lives. Um, and that was what came to mind that that that it was um and and that was how I how I died um was being a part of the trail of tears.

SPEAKER_05

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, it's it was a tough life, but you know that that led me down a lot of research when I found that out. And you know, just to take like 30 seconds, the the Native Americans and and most natives, when they look at that, like it's such a beautiful example of duality for them. Like they knew and completely like embraced, maybe not like from a physical aspect, because obviously that's always the most difficult, but like energetically, um they just knew it was something that needed to happen as a part of the shift that's is still going on, and so you know, I know from some place like that was an honor to be a part of, I guess, which is so mind-numbing to think about. Like wow, yeah, so comfortable in duality, right, right, and so just ancient and wisdom and understanding of those things.

SPEAKER_02

Wow, mic drop, okay.

SPEAKER_03

Sorry that that came up. Sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Don't be sorry. Mic drop as in, like, you know, you just did the MM rap and you're done.

SPEAKER_03

Uh I still have my Mesa, so I don't have a cool story there.

SPEAKER_01

But my Mesa is upgraded, okay. It is so I mean I can help you lose yours, and then we can make you a new one if you want, but you know a great test in Buddhism.

SPEAKER_02

Like, okay, you love this thing now, throw it in the trash.

SPEAKER_03

Right, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

You know, right, right. It is one hit me. That's right.

SPEAKER_03

Well, this has been a great show, and I don't know if you have anything else, Muse, but I want to close with just asking Mariah to to send us, and I have a I have a theme that I want us to ask her to send us off on. So is there anything else on your final to-do list?

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no. I've asked a million questions, I guess it's enough.

SPEAKER_03

You made a really awesome comment about your journey, Mariah, that stuck, and I threw it in my notes next to the questions that I had already thought of asking you. And so sign us off, if you will, and thank you again um for being a part of this and being a part, you know, of our little tribe and community. Um you talked about shifting. This is when the shift uh the the clinical work you were doing, and then you had the um the job with the badge, and you had this shift of like now I want the perspective of you know work or career or life to be um what I can do in the world. You said something like, what can you do in the world? Um, so give us uh uh um eagle condor perspective, um, something for our viewers on um what they can do in the world, why that's important.

SPEAKER_02

What they can do in the world. Um so when I'm opening sacred space, when I get to the east, I've started saying um, you know, with compassion and needs for all life. And I really, you know, we're all humans right now in a human experience. And how can we find a path that brings satisfaction, love, and balance into the world, and that looks different for everybody. But I really describe my messages from source as kind of like an aha moment and not letting fear or hesitation, which is really hard, um, not letting those things hold you back from what can make a real difference in your life and the lives of those around you, because when you can show it fully, you can show it for the world.

SPEAKER_05

Beautiful.

SPEAKER_00

I love that.

SPEAKER_03

So nice.

SPEAKER_02

You just want us to love each other.

SPEAKER_03

Well, huge virtual hug, team hug going on right now.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. This is so awesome. I love listening to the show. I wake up on Tuesday mornings and I'm like, is the episode out?

SPEAKER_03

That's great. Well, humble moment. Right on. Well, thanks for being here, and until next time.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, thank you for having me. Thanks for being here. Thank you.

SPEAKER_03

Aho.

SPEAKER_02

Uh-oh.
