SPEAKER_01People are mad. That's all we're here to say. People are mad about that.
SPEAKER_00So I want to specify up front and early. These guys die all the time. Literally, like, it's it's it it look, I love the engagement. I love the passion for it. It's just funny where everyone's like, they could take him down. No, he's they've they beat gods, and I'm like, okay, but they've also died to like a random guy in a basement.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, so like let's be serious here.
SPEAKER_00Who's to say they don't come back? So to be very specific and power scaly, this is seasons one through three, Sam. Yes. Playing this game, seasons one through three Sam. Could they beat these various horror franchises and or monsters?
SPEAKER_01This is 2007 Salmon Dean. This is not 2020. It's 2026. It's not 2026 Salmon Dean.

There's a few surprises for you. Oh, okay. Because we kind of made a list and then I we had a couple wild card things, so I just uh went through and found a few things I thought would be fun.
SPEAKER_01Let's get fun with it.
SPEAKER_00Uh, should we just where do you want to start? Do you want to start at 10 and go to one or one and go to ten? Does not matter in any way.
SPEAKER_01Are they in an order? Nope, not at all. Let's start at 10. I'm feeling lucky.
SPEAKER_00So, would Sam would season three, Sam and Dean, survive the Omen?
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00Yep.
SPEAKER_01Now, this is an interesting one.
SPEAKER_00A bit of a lesser scene one. More for the freaks. Ooh. Uh, not many people saw the first omen, which is a very good movie. I very much recommend it. That's a fucked up movie. But the original omen's like a maybe not a cult classic, but a slightly lesser scene classic.
SPEAKER_01It's to me, it's a cult classic because no one has seen the The Omen. Like, I I showed that to you and I was like, honey, just wait until this guy gets a set taken out with a plate of glass.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, it's crazy.
SPEAKER_01Um it's an awesome movie. Um, this does beg the question. However, this movie, a lot of this research is heavily required in this film.
SPEAKER_00And you know who's really good at research?
SPEAKER_01So get this.

SPEAKER_01So I think once they figure it out, like I think Sam is jumping the hurdle of figuring out what's going on.
SPEAKER_00Can I throw out a bit so we're again, we're talking seasons one through three. Yes. There's certain things that will come into play later that the omen directly deals with.
SPEAKER_01Correct.
SPEAKER_00Uh, that will change. Um get there. Later seasons, Sam and Dean. I don't even know if they'd fight it. Like, because that was my that becomes my question is how what what do you fight? What are you fighting? Are they gonna take out this kid? Like what's happening?
SPEAKER_01So here's the thing. I think The Lore says the lore, so low so we get this. I think Sam jumps the hurdle of figuring out what's going on, and that Damien is the Antichrist. Yeah, I think they're both, I'm picturing them now in my head digging up the jackal skeleton, like having a great time with it. I think Sam is like, we can't kill a kid, Dean and Dean's like, why not? Why not?
SPEAKER_00Well, but Dean has a soft spot for the kids.
SPEAKER_01He does, but I think the moment he sees this kid like evilly tricycling down his hallway and knocking his mother off the rails, he might be like, Yeah. That's a good point.
SPEAKER_00Dean also has a uh place for moms.
SPEAKER_01That's see, that's my thing, is I think also it becomes very clear that he's not really a kid. He's the he's the vessel of evil.
SPEAKER_00And the powers in it are loosey-goosey as to whether or not Damien has powers or if the devil has kind of an overreaching thing.
SPEAKER_01We've already seen the first one.
SPEAKER_00Again, we're taking this and the first omen.
SPEAKER_01And the first omen.
SPEAKER_00And we're taking this as if they are transported into that world, not their own. So like their version of devils and demons are not the same. Yes. Uh, they're in the rules of the world of the omen. I still think they win. Yes. You know what I mean? Like, unless they both very quickly get like mind-possessed, which vaguely happens.
SPEAKER_01Like, so so in that Damien has like the pet Rottweiler that's like a hellhound.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Which I think they could be like, oh, sick, we got this.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. And then take him out.
SPEAKER_01Um, and then that he has like his nanny who's like part of a satanic cult or whatever.
SPEAKER_00Is she or is she like possessed by something?
SPEAKER_01I thought she was like part of a cult.
SPEAKER_00I don't know. It's vague.
SPEAKER_01It's been a little bit since we watched that one. Great movie. Um, shout out Richard Donner.
SPEAKER_00Um Richard Donner.
SPEAKER_01I think they can make pretty easy work of this if they can stomach coughing a small job. Yeah, if they can if they can do the dirty. Yeah, but see, the thing is, is like in that movie. Who is it in that movie? It's like a famous guy in that movie.
SPEAKER_00Is it Richard Peck or something?
SPEAKER_01It's Gregory Peck, yeah. It is Gregory Peck in that movie. Like the moment Gregory Peck is like pulling back the hair and you see the 666 in the scalp, I think Dean's like, cool, let's wrap it up.
SPEAKER_00Like anyway, so I started blasting Dean very quickly.
SPEAKER_01What a crazy one to start on. Would they kill a child?
SPEAKER_00Well, I did funny enough, when I wrote it down, because you can see I think you can see the box set behind us, when I wrote it down, kind of didn't think about that part. And then we sat down to record this and I thought about that part.
SPEAKER_01But you know what? It there's a lot of there's miscellaneous moving parts in that film. And I think Salmon Dean can handle it.
SPEAKER_00I think they can handle it. Cool. Here's a much tougher one.
SPEAKER_01Okay.
SPEAKER_00So we had the debate last time. Could Salmon Dean beat Mathrigan? Technological, not supernatural. What's the difference here? I'm taking this a step further.
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00I'm long jumping over a lot of other robots.
SPEAKER_01Are you about to say what I'm thinking?
SPEAKER_00Could Salmon Dean beat the Terminator?
SPEAKER_01Oh.
SPEAKER_00And we should I'm gonna specify we're gonna stick with Terminator 1.
SPEAKER_01Okay, not T2.
SPEAKER_00T eight hundred.
SPEAKER_01Okay, not T2.
SPEAKER_00Not T2. Uh that will be for a later debate. Yeah, yeah, that will be for a later debate. Could they beat the Arnold Terminator from the classic movie?
SPEAKER_01Hmm. Because, like, that's an interesting question.
SPEAKER_00Look, it it Sam is very smart. He's not like an engineer.
SPEAKER_01No, he's a smart guy, but he still needs time to pick things up.
SPEAKER_00None of their weapons are known to hurt the Terminator. Correct. Like, even the grenade launcher in the back of the Impala is like questionable as to whether or not it will take it out. So they're gonna have to get creative, like they do in the movie with like pipe bombs and like getting it into its little circuitry and then blowing it up. Like, and could they survive that long? And then that also begs the question is there a difference if they're protecting someone or if the Terminator is after them? Like, say they're their Sarah Connor's protectors. What does that change in the debate?
SPEAKER_01I kind of think I think if it's just after them, I think Dean is a little more loosey-goosey with it. As we've seen from this point on, Dean is a little like, if I'm in the one in danger during a hunt, I don't care about myself. But I think if he was given a Sarah Connor to defend, yeah, he would be going to the ends of the earth.
SPEAKER_00So, but yeah, okay, but can can they do it? Like, are they gonna stump? Because that's the thing is they beat the Terminator in the original Terminator movie by accident. Yeah. He has the pipe bombs and that gets them a little bit, but they still are gonna lose until they hydraulic not to spoil Terminator, it's like a 35, 40-year-old movie. It's old, yeah, it's like 40. They crush it with the hydraulic press.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00How does that change?
SPEAKER_01I had forgotten about that. Because I kind of thought, because I was sitting here like, oh, well, they kill a lot of things with fire. How how different is it to kill the terminator? You need lava.
SPEAKER_00You need molten lava. Or you have to put it into a smelting plant with a tank to like literally melt it to nothing.
SPEAKER_01See, okay, so then I think it's 50-50. I think they can hold out okay. I think they're more motivated to hold out if they're protecting somebody.
SPEAKER_00Maybe.
SPEAKER_01But also, I don't know. I don't have a whole lot of like it's the terminator.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Like it's the terminator.
SPEAKER_00It's it's a perfect killing machine that is only killed by a handful of ways with weapons they would have at their disposal. Yeah. Right? And the reason I like these technological debates is like it it strips back the well, they have the demon blade, will they have an angel blade, will they have a whatever, right? Yeah. And I think seasons one through three, Sam fighting this thing, is a really tough question. Yeah. Because I don't know, they don't really, they don't, you know what's going to affect the Terminator.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like they don't like I don't see them picture I don't see them figuring out. I see them going the route of trying to blow it up, not going the route of crush it into a teeny tiny ball.
SPEAKER_00I'm still I'm not necessarily convinced they can win. I don't yeah. Like again, I think there are versions where they win where they happen upon a place with this, like because that's the thing, is the other people are gonna be like, they're smart enough to figure it out. Um I want to point out, no, because and not because they're not smart, because Arnold in T1 is a supercomputer in his brain, or in T2 is a supercomputer in his brain. No, we're talking about T1. But Arnold in T2 has a supercomputer in his brain, and he doesn't even go, we should go camp out here because we can trap it and kill it this way. Yeah. It's like it's not until way later in the Terminator franchise that they start coming up with stuff to like, oh, we can beat these lesser ones, it's not a big deal. No. Right? No, it's like even with a supercomputer, he didn't think, oh, we have to we can defend it this way, I just have to get you out of here, right? Yeah. I I if Sam and Dean stumble into a place like that, they can take it. However, I don't necessarily think they could take it in a straight fight.
SPEAKER_01I think this is like when we talked about alien where it's a 50-50.
SPEAKER_00I think it's more like 80-20. I'm gonna be so honest with you. I'll take it. I'm be tell me if I'm wrong. Tell me if I'm wrong thinking only 20% of the time they're gonna beat the Terminator.
SPEAKER_01Who's to say?
SPEAKER_00Anyway, so we're split on that one.
SPEAKER_01I mean, I'm with you on that one.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but you still you think they stand a little bit better chance than I do.
SPEAKER_01I would say like 64.
SPEAKER_00This is just a fun one because I want to see Sam and Dean fight this thing because it would be really entertaining. I I to be up front, they're gonna win. Child's play.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, can you imagine?
SPEAKER_00Can they beat Chucky? Of course they can beat Chucky.
SPEAKER_01Of course they could, but it would be so funny.
SPEAKER_00Wouldn't it be the most entertaining thing to see like Chucky jumping on and stabbing Dean in the back with like a fork? And Dean's just freaking out and he has to like throw it.
SPEAKER_01Gender fluid. Um, I think it's my favorite line read of all time.
SPEAKER_00Not even until like way later.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, Brad Doriff. I love you. Um he and your daughter. And your daughter shout out the pit. Um the pit.
SPEAKER_00Could Sam and Dean survive a shift with the pit? No. No, that that would break.
SPEAKER_01Dean's passing out immediately. Sam holds out for an hour.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, maybe.
SPEAKER_01Like, oh my god. Anyways, um, no, I think that would be so easy for them. I think that possessed doll, it's cursed object. It's all it is. Like except I haven't seen a single child's play movie, so I don't know, I'm not familiar with the lore.
SPEAKER_00Sam's gonna knock out that research incredibly quickly. It's just gonna be really funny for the little bit it takes them to like figure out how to fight the doll.
SPEAKER_01They're gonna see like little footprints leading away from a murder scene, and then be like, dude, what the hell are we doing? They're gonna see little footprints and like flower walking through the room. And they're like, dude, what the hell's happening here?
SPEAKER_00And then one of them just gets like bit in the ankle when it's like jumps out from the room. 100%.
SPEAKER_01Hundred percent. He's gonna be like, Dean's to get this. Uh there's the serial killer who died, he's just a dog. And every night and every night, yeah, blah, blah, blah. Like, that's gonna be I'm picturing it in my head right now.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely clapping.
SPEAKER_01Yes.
SPEAKER_00However, Chucky, however, hysterical deeply entertaining. I would like to see it. I would watch that in a heartbeat. Okay, number seven. And I'm especially this is from the 1980s version of this movie. I guess you can classify the 50s one too, but the 80s is the one I prefer. So we're talking about the 1980s, uh, the blob. Oh. Right? Gelatinous blob from the sky. Uh, and that one I believe it's like an experiment of some kind, not just an alien. But it all it does is like go around and consume things. Yeah. And there's no real way to like fully kill it. They're only able to stop it, split it up, and contain it.
SPEAKER_01I think Dean senses a kinship with the blob and becomes one with it.
SPEAKER_00No, you think Dean, he's gonna get melted, baby.
SPEAKER_01But he comes one with it.
SPEAKER_00No, he's gonna become one with it as in it absorbs his nutrients.
SPEAKER_01He died doing what he loved.
SPEAKER_00I mean, that is sure. I don't because like here's the thing there's not a lot for Sam to research. No, you'd have to get a sample of the blob somehow. And he would and he's not a chemist guy.
SPEAKER_01He's not gonna be Sam's not in the lab. Sam's in the library, there's a lot of things.
SPEAKER_00If they had Bobby, yeah. There is that is great. In the library, not the lab, there's a difference. That's very true. Smartest thing you have ever said.
SPEAKER_01Thanks. Came up with it just now.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Uh okay, so the this is questionable because there's no there's no great way to fight this thing. I mean, yes, fire works on it a little bit. Yeah. But all it's like.
SPEAKER_01I'm trying to remember it. I was so tired when we watched that movie.
SPEAKER_00The only way to beat it is like they use fire and fire helps, but the only way to beat it is again, much like the Terminator with like nitrous oxide or whatever the cooling um is to freeze it and break it up. That's how you beat it. And it took like a whole town of people rallying to do it.
SPEAKER_01See, and I don't think they have that kind of charisma to get like they don't, they're not people they can get hunters to follow them. I don't know that Sam and Dean are getting like an entire town. Well, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00Crowatoan, they kind of rallied.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, they still only get a couple people.
SPEAKER_00I don't know.
SPEAKER_01What do you think?
SPEAKER_00I don't know how to how to classify this one again. It's like if there happens to be a tanker there that they can like shoot and freeze it, sure, but Sam and Dean are not known to like you know, they're known to trap. They're not necessarily known to booby trap as much.
SPEAKER_01I don't like they're smart. I don't think they're like the best battle tacticians we've ever seen.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Especially not at this point. They have not gone through enough.
SPEAKER_00There's no no spell, there's no special weapon to kill this.
SPEAKER_01This is again season three, Sam and Dean have not been to war as much.
SPEAKER_00There's the debate can the cult kill this?
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_00Um, I'm assuming the cult could kill it.
SPEAKER_01The concept of the cult in one bullet killing the gigantic blob is really.
SPEAKER_00But yeah, but okay, what if the blob splits up into two chunks? Uh like can it, you know what I mean? Does it kill both ends, or does it now it has to be?
SPEAKER_01Yeah, do you shoot the blob with what do you shoot one end of the blob with the colt and then the cult anyway?
SPEAKER_00I think I think they will find a way to win, because I think Sam is smart enough to I think they're smart enough to get out of one or two encounters and they're smart enough to try fire. They're like, okay, fire's working, and then they're smart enough to realize, like, well, what if we freeze it, right? Like, I think they're smart enough to do it. I don't necessarily think they're leaving with all their limbs. I think somebody's limb is getting melted off.
SPEAKER_01I think this is a little more I'm I'm to this as you were determinator where I'm like, I don't see them surviving this as well.
SPEAKER_00A bunch of teenagers do.
SPEAKER_01That's a good point.
SPEAKER_00You know?

SPEAKER_00Now the government's involved and like burns it together.
SPEAKER_01The government.
SPEAKER_00Yeah. Oh, great. Brought up the government. Um, okay, so we're a bit mixed on that blob as well. Okay.
SPEAKER_01I am now picturing, I don't know if it's on your list. I'll keep it to myself. We'll get there.
SPEAKER_00Number six, the thing.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god, I was literally about to say the thing. Oh my god, honey.
SPEAKER_00I knew you were.
SPEAKER_01Honey, that was so exciting.
SPEAKER_00The 1980s John Carpenter classic, The Thing. Sam and Dean are now trapped in this like Arctic resort with uh Kurt Russell. Resort? Well, i to them it would be a resort. It would be a resort, I was gonna say.
SPEAKER_01I was like, yes, that's fair. Dean would make uh snowman and those two freaks would 100% be like, mmm, this remote military-run lab, my vacation.
SPEAKER_00I mean, yeah, considering where their home becomes later. Um okay, so seasons one through three, Sam and Dean fighting the thing from John Carpenter's the thing. You think they can take it?
SPEAKER_01They have a lot of practice with guessing who's a shapeshifter and who's not.
SPEAKER_00You know what? Very true. However, how do they deal with the like in infection component of it?
SPEAKER_01I think, look, McCready, handsomest man in the world, first of all.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Um second of all, he's not one of the scientists there. He's just the helicopter guy. Yeah. And he figures out that every part of the thing reacts to heat.
SPEAKER_00Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Again, these are two guys who are very good at killing things with fire. So think about it.
SPEAKER_00But they're really good with fire.
SPEAKER_01They're really good with fire. Yeah. I know my way around a flamethrower. Okay.
SPEAKER_00And but it's the solving it mystery before like too many things are.
SPEAKER_01Every episode is a mystery.
SPEAKER_00Do but then do they survive the Arctic? Do they get out of it like this?
SPEAKER_01Spoilers if you've never seen The Thing, but what are you doing? Um, I think they do go full child and McCready at the end, and they're like, We're just sitting here. Mom mom.
SPEAKER_00But they're beating the monster.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, like I think they beat the monster, and I think they beat the monster in the thing 1982 as well. But you know, I think I think they're they're both not the thing, and they just die, and that's how they save it.
SPEAKER_00But anyways. Um, you think they're winning this movie?
SPEAKER_01I think they're winning the thing.
SPEAKER_00I think you're probably right, especially with like the weirdly readily available amount of flamethrowers on that site.
SPEAKER_01Yes, which again, I'm totally I guess it's because they have to like melt ice. Yeah, I'm sure. But like I I think I think A, they have the shape shifter experience to be able to tell when the other person is them or not.
SPEAKER_00They're smart enough to realize heat. Yeah, heat. They're scientists on site to be like, here's the thing.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, and then I think they figure out pretty quickly that every part of the thing is is re-reactive. So I think they make light work of this. Now, are they winning against like being killed by someone else on the base? Who's to say? Because those two are pretty annoying.
SPEAKER_00Um those two really will get under your skin.
SPEAKER_01Like, unfortunately, love them so so much. Dean is definitely getting killed for being too mouthy at some point.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, but you know Dean and McCready are like off in his shack getting whiskey drunk together. That's not what I thought you were gonna say. No. They're getting whiskey drunk together. I'm a barber's army. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01Anyways, now I want to watch the thing.
SPEAKER_00I always want to watch the thing. Okay, I I agree with you. I think they're gonna they're gonna take this out. Yeah. They're gonna beat it. They're gonna beat the thing. Okay. I can't believe we didn't do this one last time. Are Sam and Dean beating Pennywise? Because we know one of them is basically useless in this fight.
SPEAKER_01Which one do you think it is? Sam. Oh, I was gonna say Dean. Sam is scared of clowns! Oh, fuck, I forgot about the clown part. Wait! I forgot about the clown part. I was jumping straight to Pennywise taking advantage of Dean's. Paralyzed clowns. I was going straight to Pennywise psychologically torturing Dean.
SPEAKER_00Well, yeah, but he's gonna psychologically torture Sam, but also he doesn't even have to transform to do that.
SPEAKER_01That's true. Fuck, that's true. Wow, Sam's really gonna have to push through for that.
SPEAKER_00Can he?
SPEAKER_01See, here's the thing.
SPEAKER_00No, this is Pennywise. It's it. Here's what it is, it is. The thing, do you get Do you get it?
SPEAKER_01Do you get my whose eye first? Anyways.
SPEAKER_00I looked at I'm picturing the Bill Skarsgard, Annie Michete, and I'm not sure.
SPEAKER_01And we're the fucking authorities on this, by the way. We've both read that gigantic book.
SPEAKER_00It's ginormous.
SPEAKER_01And all of the adaptations. So um I think I'm gonna say something. I think that Dean figures it out before Sam that if they just try really hard and do like a belief that what they're doing is going to hurt Pennywise at work. Because we know, like, basically believing that you can hurt Pennywise hurts Pennywise. Um in the 90s one, which I showed you.

SPEAKER_01I don't know how well they fare against this. I think they figure out that someone's been taken. But it's too late when someone's been taken and you're already still.
