Debut Album Vision And Singles
SPEAKER_06Man, what'd it do, man? This uh this happy for a new year. Blessed to be alive and once again appreciate the invite to the Bab Talk Podcast, also, once again.
SPEAKER_05Oh, you know, you always welcome here. Oh, yeah. You know what I'm saying? Okay, what's going on with you though? I'm I mean, I mean, uh, I know you tell me the other day that your album that you're working on, you like one or two albums. I mean, you like one or two songs.
SPEAKER_06Um Yeah, that's correct. Um, I'm working on my debut album. The title is called From My Eyes to Your Ears, and I'm uh actually one song away from from the project being complete and plan on releasing in the summertime. I'm not official with the date yet, but it'll be sometime this summer, though. But right now, I dropped two singles on my YouTube page, YouTube slash Major Talk TMR TV. It's a song called Only Bad Talk and uh a song called Blues that'll be on the album. So make sure y'all check it out. Give me some feedback. Copy that.

SPEAKER_05Yeah. So tell us something about the music on there. The rap is on there.
SPEAKER_06All right, the music is um it's a pretty much uh vibe motivation for the hustlers. Uh even the people that's clocking in for that nine to five, they need that inspiration to make you want to get it. So you can just press play to it to some fly tunes, some laid back, flight, getting money music. But it got a message behind it too, to stay focused.
SPEAKER_05Always, you know. You gotta stay focused no matter what it is. Yes, sir.
SPEAKER_06So on this on this album right here, how many songs gonna be on the next thing? It's looking between 14 and 15 tracks. 14 to 15 tracks? And I have um I'll have like three features, and the rest is just all me, about 14 to 15, yeah.

SPEAKER_06Yeah, yeah, but uh pretty much all major platforms. And I'm also gonna print them out, get them wrapped up and stuff, and have some uh personal CDs also with merch too to give the fans a little organic feeling. So take it back to the old school, some CDs pressed up.

Release Plans And Distribution
SPEAKER_06This one is actually gonna be a comedy movie. Oh, comedy, okay. Yeah, it's gonna be a comedy movie, yeah. Okay It's about, you know, someone was gifted something because a guy trusted something, trusted these guys and they ended up losing it. Right. And because it got stolen from them, so they're trying to figure out a way how to get it back, and they all running around like three headless chicken. Right. Yeah, it's gonna be a funny little, funny little project though.
SPEAKER_05Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. So at that location that you're looking at to film your movie yet? Or not you got on?
SPEAKER_06Not a particular location, but I'm probably gonna start in Minnesota, then uh everything goes right, make my way around different areas.

SPEAKER_06As far as the Houston, to the Chicago's to the Atlanta, and hopefully we get some Kelly scenes in it and mix it all in one if everything goes right the way I plan.

SPEAKER_06And I haven't thought of a title yet first, so I was like, let me just get the the script and everything out the way first, then see how it flows. Then I would come up with a title, whatever. But for the time being, it's not titled yet though, but the plot and everything is already together though.

Because, you know, I would say all of them, but one that stick out to me is uh probably gonna be one of the lead singles, is uh called uh uh Only Only Bad Talk, produced by Snigs. It just had that old feel sample to it, where it makes it take you back, give you that nostalgic type of feel, but it's still up to date, but it just makes you just want to get it, you know. That's all I'm trying to give my fans. I want to give them some music just to make want to motivate them. Okay. Like as soon as you hear, you may not even be in mode, but as soon as you hear that music, alright shit, it's time to get it. That's what I want to bring back to the game. Some motivation, fly music. I feel that. Yeah, for sure. So, right, you're from Houston, correct? Yes, born and raised southside Houston, Texas, all day long. So if I was to go down there, what would you recommend me to do? Uh, for starters, you man, gotta get you some good food. So I'm gonna always recommend recommend you go to Chimmy Chan's. And what's that what? Rice and gravy. Rice and gravy? Yeah, that's the that's the go-to. But they have shrimp-fried rice. It's a Chinese spot. It's a Chinese spot with good fried rings. But uh far as, you know, if you into the seafood, we got Papa Dou's, Papacitos, etc, etc. What about some soul foods? Soul food, we we definitely had that, and we definitely have some of the best barbecue. And the thing about Houston shit, even when you leave the club too, or you might decide to hit the after hour spot, that bitch don't close to four or five in the morning. You still can find somewhere to eat. So not like here. Yeah, yeah. Not like here. Yeah, nah, for sure. That's the best that I'll tell you to do that first. Okay. Then a club life scene is lit.
SPEAKER_05Because I asked because I might be going down there this summer, or not the summer, but a little bit after the summer. It's just like I'm appointments I got, some appointments that I gotta step into. And one of them is down there in Houston. Well, I'm definitely your go-to guy. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So I'm like my boy from down there. So I was telling him like like my people from I'm like my people from there. I'll holler at them. You know what I'm saying?

But I know somebody out there right now that they'll be like, I want to do that, and then they can learn from you.
