Something strange happened again with Danhausen on WWE television… and most people missed it.
During Monday Night Raw, Danhausen appeared during the commercial break doing a bizarre t-shirt giveaway segment. It looked like a simple comedy moment at first, but when you slow it down there are several small details that feel very intentional.
Then on SmackDown, Danhausen popped up again during the segment with The Miz and Nick Aldis. And once again, something about the moment felt… off.
In this video we break down every Danhausen Easter egg hidden in both appearances. From subtle visual clues to small character references that could hint at what WWE might be setting up, there may be more going on here than people realized.
Is Danhausen just being funny… or is WWE quietly planting clues right in front of us?
Let’s go through both segments and see what WWE might have slipped past the audience.

Very nice, very evil, and very over. Very nice, very evil, and very over.
SPEAKER_02Yes, his debut was met with booze, but comes to WWE in a box promptly to get booed out of the building.
SPEAKER_03Just two weeks later. Listen to this place. Well, now the fans have changed their tune.
SPEAKER_05And Dan Housen wanted to come out here to thank all their fanhousings.
SPEAKER_03Rock had the people. Dan Housen has the fanhousings, and this channel has citizens of the Chop Nation. If you become one, you can win this belt. How do you become a citizen of the Chop Nation? All you gotta do is subscribe to the channel. To win the belt, you gotta also comment on the video. Every new video is a new chance for a chance to win said belt. Just comment on every every video. And well, at 20,000 subscribers and at 30,000 subscribers and 40,000 subscribers, you get a new opportunity to win said belt. It's not a toy, people, it's a replica, and it hurts because it's pointy. All right. Oh, and by the way, I will ship it anywhere in the world. Here's some t-shirts for the fanhousers. If you notice how he threw the shirts, they all went to the same guy. Even Michael Cole calls it out. One guy got all two shirts. Either he did it on purpose because it's weird and awkward, and that's his humor, or he noticed he screwed up and threw it to all one guy, but he doesn't care. Split him up! He's just like, yeah, split him up. Tori Grablin, Michael Cole. Actually, low-key brilliant. If the announcers are wearing your shirt, well, then they're gonna put you over. Go to wwshop.com and sell it out. While I don't think they have sold out on WWE.com, I do believe that Danhausen shirts are number one in the sales chart. So, like, good job, fanhousens. And if you don't, you are they finished it for him. Like, wow, he was being compared to the gobbledygooker.
SPEAKER_01They booed thunderously. Everyone's talking about the shockmaster. I brought that up. In the gobbledygooker.
SPEAKER_03Literally two Saturdays ago, and now the fans are cursed, cursed, we're cursed. He bows like a gentleman, you know. Chivalry is not dead. The lights go out, which is on point for a spooky character in WWE Undertaker. The lights always went out for him, and then poof, he was gone. Okay, so is that just like a commercial spot lights out, and I'm guessing he'll be gone, will he? Okay, well, there he is running away. However, however, Dan Housen's a little different of a spooky character because here they come back on, the lights come back on, and he's running away, and we see it. That's the joke, you know. Like, we're not supposed to see him just running away. We're supposed to think that he's that he is he has these supernatural powers, but it's like it's so funny. I am like so glad that WWE is leaning into this. Okay, so now we're on SmackDown. If you're the boss here, as you say, he says, Hey, you're the boss. Can you get me in the hall of fame? You can get me this uh Hall of Fame induction this year, which actually has been the way to get into the Hall of Fame in the past. There is no real Hall of Fame, as Scott Steiner says.
SPEAKER_00It's in somebody's mind, it's a creation of all of his own. It's thing that you know, it's just it boggles my mind that people like care about getting in the hall of fame, going to a place that it doesn't exist.
SPEAKER_03Like, whoever the boss is is the person. If it's Vince McMahon, it's whoever he decided. If it's Triple H, it's whoever he decided goes in, that's how it is. So it's not that far-reaching for Dan Housen to just say, Hey, you're the boss, get me in, because that's how it works. Side note, congratulations, Scott Steiner, for getting in the 2022 Hall of Fame. Getting me a mentor. He asks for a mentor here. It's not really my job to find you a mentor. I said, And then Dan Housen's like, well, it kinda is. You gotta really pay attention and listen to these little, these little uh little snide comments that Dan Housen speaks under his breath. And honestly, he's right. In almost any job, you should, the boss should find a mentor for their employee. I do it all the time at my job. I I hire somebody and then I try to pair them up with somebody that will acclimate them to the restaurant business.
SPEAKER_04I am trying to help these young superstars.
SPEAKER_03Miz's character right now is actually trying to be a mentor to the next generation. Master your emotions so you're not going after the guy that's trying to mentor you. We are mellow, don't Miz! However, he has been a mentor for many, many moons now.
SPEAKER_05Ariel Hawani just had Logan Paul in his show, and he opened up and said, like, that you've been a big mentor for him and you've really helped him out.
SPEAKER_03I have someone for you to mentor. I really like this pairing because historically speaking. Meet Danhausen. I really like this pairing because historically speaking, up until recently, the Miz seems to have been trashed by, like, you know, the the wrestling fans who are more like the internet wrestling fans.
SPEAKER_02And I'd see Miz and go, how the f is this guy manga venting WrestleMania?
SPEAKER_03Stereotypical internet wrestling fan. While Danhausen is an internet wrestling fan's darling. So putting these two together is very just a position. And I honestly think that it'll help both both fan bases appreciate the other one. Dude, I know why once I worked with him once, I was like, that's why and they go for a handshake, but the Miz does not want to shake his hand at all because you know this guy's this guy's a weirdo, right? To the Miz. He counts one, two, three on his hand for his pillars, and he's saying, you know, I need someone who will follow these pillars, but but Danhausen just grabs it as his handshake. One way or another, he was getting his handshake. Not some goth kid that nobody invited to the party. Oh, he's a jock, it was a fun king, eh? I did look it up, and as far as I could tell, Danhausen was not a jock. Okay, so he he did karate at six years old, and that was about it. But to be fair, to be fair, that's more than I did it. Anyway, you're perfect for this. You got a legendary career.
SPEAKER_04He is a two-time Grand Slam champion, walked into WrestleMania 27, the WWE champion, walked out of WrestleMania 27, the WWE champion. He is a future Hall of Famer!
SPEAKER_03So you shall make Dan Housen a WWE champion of some sort. If they ever wanted to bring back the European, the cruiserweight, the 24-7 or hardcore title, this is the perfect opportunity to do it. And you're gonna get Dan Housen his own television show. I bet they give Dan Hausen some kind of talk show segment. He would be great on that. But honestly, what I would love to see. I'll harm you is a mystery science 3000 type of show for Dan Housen. I can't remember where I heard this from. It might have been on like the Cornet on Jim Cornett's podcast, but I heard it somewhere and I fell in love with the idea of and I'm gonna I'm gonna alter it though. I'm gonna alter this idea, but but give Dan Housen all the old footage of WWE, the the craziest, most zaniest stuff. You know, the gobbledygooker, hillbilly gym. And I'll tell you folks something. You're gonna see some things that you've never seen before. You know, Mae Young giving birth to a hand. You know, let's have Dan Housen watch those segments and review with, like, I don't know, I'm sure he could have a couple of zany characters with him, maybe a maybe a co-host, maybe Miz, who knows? But like, I think that would be a perfect segment for for Dan Housen. We don't have to do it every week, but maybe once a month. And I think people would really get into that. And so he watches it while he kind he just talks over everything. Like, that would be that would be so good. I'm not gonna mentor you. Yes, you are. Miz finally finds somebody who wants to be mentored by him, and the Miz is like, no, no, we're not doing this. No. Because if you don't, you are cursed. Some people have said that the Miz has been cursed, but if you listen to him, he said, if you don't, then you are cursed. So the Miz still has an opportunity to say yes to the mentorship. So right now, the Miz is not cursed. He laughs, he should laugh. You know, nobody should take it serious until they're presented with the evidence. Remember what happened to Dom on Monday. Dom lost the Intercontinental title to Penta. And poof, boys and girls, he's gone just like me.
