Roman Reigns is back… and the entire show changed the second he showed up.

CM Punk kept poking the bear all night, running his mouth like he always does… and it finally caught up to him. Roman didn’t just show up… he snapped. Absolute destruction. And somehow, even after all of that, Punk is still laughing like this isn’t over.

But that wasn’t the only chaos on Raw.

Jey Uso is back as the right-hand man, bringing that energy right back into the mix. Oba Femi continues to look like a problem nobody can solve after taking Brock Lesnar out AGAIN. And Paul Heyman? That man went full villain mode… restraining orders, getting Seth Rollins arrested, and then running his mouth one step too far before getting dropped like he deserved.

This wasn’t just a normal Raw. This felt like things are starting to boil over heading into something bigger… and if Roman Reigns is back in this kind of mood, nobody is safe.

The OTC is definitely back, and so is the right hand man. And old man Phil, old man Phil is now a thing as well. This is your one take, one shot Raw review where I do it immediately following Raw. No cuts, no edits, just say how I'm feeling right this second. I don't get the luxury of going to bed and thinking about it. I just gotta tell you how I feel in the moment. And I gotta say, I gotta say there were some really good developments tonight on Monday Night Raw. They are definitely trying really hard to pump us up for WrestleMania. And I think I think after tonight we have a good, we have a good clear direction on what's happening and what's gonna happen at the showcase of the immortals. But let's talk the main event segment, Roman and Punk and the Usos. But first, let's talk about the belt that they're gonna be fighting for, the one on my shoulder right now. No cuts, no edits, one take, one shot. Alright, so so Jay Uso has been crashing out throughout the night, right? He he had a match, a tag team match, and he actually he was so mad at one point he used the brass brass knuckles right in front of the referee. We'll talk about that match later. That's just set up for the final segment. Jey Uso is just getting madder and madder throughout the night. He does not like CM Punk right now. And and CM Punk, the other hand, the final segment, he walks to the ring and Jimmy Uso says, Man, you need to you need to relax. Just be careful what you say out there because my brother, not Roman, my brother is kind of on the war path tonight. And CM Punk comes out, you know. Never tell CM Punk what not to do because that's exactly what he's gonna do. And he's like, Should I be quiet? Jimmy told me I should be quiet. And the audience like, no, no, no. And so CM Punk just starts poking the bear, but there's two bears. He's poking Roman, he's poking Jay, and finally Jay comes out. Jay's music hits, and and CM Punk proceeds to talk trash the entire time. What are you gonna do? What are you gonna do? Yeet me? You're gonna yeet me to death? Oh, before this, before J Jay came out, CM Punk acknowledged, acknowledged that he didn't get mad that he was called old because he says, you know what? I am old. I am old. I'm like Terry Funk, middle-aged old guy who could just kick butt. And he he names off a couple fake athletes who are who were also old, Nolan Ryan, Gordy Howe, other people. But yeah, and so he's like, I just didn't like that Roman called me old. I don't like this though. He did make a comment that that Roman dyes his beard. I don't like that. I don't like that. You know, if if that's just something personal in the back, if it's not, if it's not known, I don't think they should bring it up. It didn't ruin the segment for me. I don't hate CM Punk because he did it. I just don't like that CM Punk done it. You know, let the wrestlers have some some privacy. But that said, he then starts to goat, goat Jay Uso. And Jay Uso comes out and he's like, let me in, let me in. And Punk starts to say, you know what, Jay, you never gotta, you never got a rematch. You want your rematch right now? Let's go. And then Jimmy comes out, and Jimmy's like, man, what are you doing? Because you're such a hothead, you don't think all you see is red. We lost our tag team titles. And Jay's like, I don't care about our tag team titles. And then and then Jimmy's like, you better care about our tag team titles. And and and CM Punk is just loving this, loving this. And this goes to show, honestly, CM Punk to me is like the bad guy in this situation. Yes, he's trying to get under the skin of Roman, but he's like, Jimmy this whole time is trying to be CM Punk's friend, even though he punched him like two weeks ago, which immediately CM Punk said he deserved. Jimmy is trying really hard to keep the situation calm, and CM Punk is just like, what are you gonna do about it? Huh? Huh? Huh? And that brings out Roman Reigns. And then Roman says to Jimmy, respectfully, so you know Roman's still still a babyface right now because he said the word respectfully, but he did very much have OTC tribal chief tone in his voice and demeanor. He goes, Respectfully, Jimmy, you already had a match tonight. Time for you to leave my ring. And uh CM Punk again just just being a big old jerk about it. And he says something. I can't remember exactly what he said at the moment, but that causes Jay to attack, to attack CM Punk. And and Jimmy's trying to get him off of, he's trying to get CM Punk off, and that then uh springs Roman Reigns into actually does a Superman punch onto CM Punk, knocking them down, knocking them down. And and Roman was about to leave as a bunch of officials come in, but then Jay's on the outside. Jay's like, man, you get him, you know what to do. Smash him, smash him, just like uh Roman told Jay a couple months ago, we just smash them all, smash them all. And that that Jay Uso just completely young smash him. Like Jay is no longer friends with CM Punk, that's for sure. And that unlocked, that unlocked the true tribal chief. That unlocked bloodthirsty Roman, the guy that the whole business revolves around. Because this we've been getting we've been getting subdued Roman Reigns since he came back for his Ulafala, but like this Roman, what we saw tonight was the Roman. He just he just went he just went for it. He just went for it. He power bombed CM Pong, he just he he demolished him, he demolished him, and you know, this is a couple months back, this is what I was talking about, just side note. Remember when remember when Adam Pierce was getting in the face of Braun Breaker, but Bra and Braun would try to scare him or intimidate him, but Adam Pierce wouldn't. But and and I was like, Adam Pierce needs to be afraid of of Braun Breaker while still doing his job. And I I and people said, no, no, no, it can't be like that because Adam Pierce is the uh the GM. Well, Adam Pierce tonight was definitely scared of Roman Reigns while still doing his job. This is the Adam Pierce that should have been doing Adam Pierce acted tonight how he should have acted with uh Braun Breaker a couple uh a month or two back, but that's just neither here nor there. Roman Reigns just demolishes, right? And and Jay Uso's cheering him on, and then Roman leaves. Roman leaves, he speared him too, he speared him, he beat him up, whatever, and he leaves. And while he's leaving, though, CM Punk is laughing, and they're like, Do you need help? And CM Punk is like, No, no, I don't need help, he needs help, basically saying that he got in his head. So CM Punk definitely, definitely wanted to get Roman as crazy as possible tonight. And he didn't care about any friendships that he demolished in the process. Every the Usos were collateral damage, and that's that's a bad friend. CM Punk is a bad friend to Jimmy Uso because Jimmy was trying. Jimmy tried and tried and tried to keep the keep the situation calm and collective and just keep it between Roman and Punk, but Punk just kept dragging everybody in. So if the bloodline forms, reforms, like the complete bloodline, it's it's Kfabe CM Punk's fault. Because this tonight was the final straw, in my opinion. Seems like they're fully together, unless, excuse me, unless Roman gets mad at Jey Uso. Because Jey Uso was telling basically telling Roman what to do. He was like, get in there, you know what to do, get in there. And I don't I don't think that so though. Jey Uso wasn't telling him in the sense of I'm your superior, get in there. He was saying, We're that's our family, man. You need to like if you're not getting in there, I'm getting in there. So, like, you know, handle your business. So I don't think I don't think Jay was doing it in a disrespectful way. He was doing it in, yeah, we need to kick some butt kind of way. So that's how it ended, how it ended. Not a uh, not a not a back and forth, but still a very entertaining segment. I did, I did enjoy it. I did enjoy it. And then we we fast forward to the our rewind to the beginning, and we have we have Paul Heyman and Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar comes out, and Paul Heyman proceeds to say, you got lucky. Brock beat up 20 guys, and then he got distracted, and then you attacked Oba. So, like, that was your WrestleMania moment. You've already peaked, right? And Brock, for his part, is looking really he's like rogue BA, and he's like, he is like, I don't know. At one point he takes off his hat. I think when they mentioned he beat Undertaker at for the streak, and so Brock was really playing it up. He was very sports entertaining tonight, but then Oba comes out. Oba comes out, he does his thing, ooh, ooh, ooh. They they meet up uh face to face and Brock swings, and he gets he gets oba for an F5, oba gets out, clothes lines him out, and Brock sells. He's like, Oh my god, I can't believe it. Can I beat this guy? And that's that's that. So I really wish they would have let Oba have promo time. I wish he could have said something tonight. What I'm thinking's gonna happen is next week they're gonna give him the microphone and Brock will attack him. Don't worry, everybody. It all only it all all that matters is we need Oba Femi to get beat up one week before WrestleMania. That's it. That's it. One week before WrestleMania, so we can get the WrestleMania victory. But yeah, it was entertained. Like I was very much, these are, I think these are the two, the two programs right now that I'm really just at the edge of my seat with, and just very much like, what's gonna happen next? Not knowing. CM Punk Roman, Oba and Oba and Oba and Brock, and kind of sort of Cody and Randy Orton this week on SmackDown. And they also announced that Cody's gonna give out, gonna talk first on Pat McAfee, which give I don't like that, but I understand it. They're trying to sell tickets, so and but whatever. Then then we go. The other most entertaining segment of the night was was Paul Heyman and Seth freaking Rollins. We'll talk about that in a second, actually. We then go to to a tag team match. It's the the vision, the vision, uh uh uh Logan Paul and Austin Theory versus the Usos. And this is what I was talking about earlier. They have a fight, it's non-title. At one point, Logan Paul tries to give get brass knuckles, but but LA Knight, yeah, comes out, stops him, gives it to Jay. Jay right in front of the ref, punches, punches Logan Paul or Austin Theory, one of the two, who cares? And they're disqualified, which is like kind of weird, like not a great, not a great match or segment or whatever, but it does add to later, which then it's like forgivable. But yes, I'm thinking it's gonna be LA Knight versus LA Knight versus Jay Uso at WrestleMania. That's what I'm thinking right now. So poor Jimmy, poor Jimmy. He's like always the um the odd man out while being like the the kind of the the linchpin, is that what it is, of the uh of all the storylines. But I think that's what's gonna happen because later LA Knight's gonna be like, hey Jay, why'd you do it right in front of the ref? And Jay's like, Jay gets mad at that. He's like, man, I'm doing what I want, I'm doing what I won't. And LA Knight's like, whoa, you're sounding like Robin. And he's like, keep your keep your my family's name out of your mouth. And LA Knight's like, you know, so it looks like that's gonna happen. And then another great match tonight, another great match was Javon Evans versus Grayson Waller. However, however, even though I love Grayson Waller, I love Kofi Kingston, I love the New Day, I thank God for the New Day. I I I don't think that Grayson Waller should have put up as big a fight as he did for Javon Evans. Javon Evans has been presented as a big deal, and while I get it, he's not as big and strong as Oba Femi. Grayson Waller has been presented as a jobber, like a jobber. He's like, he's like the jobbiest jobber on a on a tag team that is a jobber, which sucks because the new day shouldn't be jobbers, but they are right now. And and Grayson Waller is just like, dude, Javon should have beat the guy in like three or four minutes. He really should have. And I'm a Grayson Waller fan, but yeah. But that said, a lot of cool moves. One time though, Javon, like, I thought he, I I honestly thought he might have broke his neck one time when he jumped out of the ring. I'm really worried that that guy is just gonna hurt himself. Please, Javon. Please don't. You got a you got a great career ahead of you. Slow it down just a little. Because believe it or not, Javon, you have a great personality, and it's not just your moves that the WWE universe is in love with. You you you have you have a lot of connection with the crowd. We don't need you to break your neck. Pull out those, pull out the break your neck moves at like WrestleMania. But but yeah, that was a good match, though. I'm not gonna lie, I was entertained. Then another match, we had Bailey Lyra versus the Kabuki Warriors, and Kyrie. Kyrie took the pin, I think, and Asuka gets mad. Why are every time Kyrie does something wrong, you know, wrong, whether it's at the Royal Rumble, she eliminates Asuka, she didn't help Asuka win her elimination match, or or or she lost her elimination match. I don't know, whatever it was. And tonight we should do a segment following up every time Kyrie makes a mistake, and the next week on Raw, there should be a video of her punishment, whether it's just like carrying up buckets of water up a mountain or something, or or I don't know, just something. We and and that would get us more invested in hating Asuka for the treatment and and be more emotionally, oh poor Kyrie. And then so I I wish they would just do a little follow-up on every time Kyrie messes up and you know, messes up. EO did the EO did try to consult her now that Rhea's gone. I guess EO's trying to make up with her her old friends, and then Raquel would get in her face and say, yo, next week we're gonna fight. And let's see, let's see, let's see. We're gonna talk, we're gonna talk uh uh Seth in a minute. We have another thing. Oh, Becky came out, Becky Lynch came out, the best in the world, not just me saying it, Sports Illustrated, Bleacher Report, and me. She comes out, she talks trash about AJ, said a lot of truth, you know. I uh sh AJ might have mastered, conquered the uh Divas Division, but I killed the Divas Division. And she said that her daughter was skipping around to AJ's music, and that that offends her, and she's gonna destroy her. And then AJ comes out and she runs away, and in the crowd, they start talking back and forth, and finally AJ's like, I just gotta get you out of my hair. Let's have a match at Mania. I don't want to see it anymore. I'm gonna be honest with you, I'm kind of over this feud. It's like they gave it to us at at Elimination Chamber. So I don't know, is there something I I can't remember if there's a stipulation. They're probably gonna add a stipulation or something. Though Becky did did it say, hey, you know what? 11 years ago was your last mania the day after you quit. So I'm gonna make you quit again, something like that. So yeah, it'll be fine. It'll be fine, it'll be whatever. I hope Becky wins the title back and AJ just, I don't know. I don't know, just not feeling it. I'm not feeling it, which sucks because AJ Lee was was my one of my top, she was tied for tops, my my fit top, tied for my top female wrestler of all time up until this run. Now she's like probably third or fourth. That said, that said, you know, whatever. I'm happy. If you're if you like AJ Lee, I'm happy for you. And then we had Penta versus Dominic Mysterio. When they're coming out, it's Dom and Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vakir attacks. I did like this, they had a pull apart brawl too. I don't think we should have had them on the same show. The uh the Roman pull-upart brawl and this pull apart brawl, but I actually liked this one because they fought and they actually went and fought in gorilla position. Gorilla position being where it's all the red lights where where Triple H usually sits in the Unreal documentaries. And so that looked really cool because it was different, visually different, and I liked I like how Liv just screaming in the whole time. So that was cool. That was cool. I wish there was a little more meat to their storyline because their their promos, you know, haven't been, you know, they're they're not they're not as juicy as Romans and and Punks. So like I would like to see something, I don't know, something, something more, you know, but uh it was fine, it was fine. I did like their brawl because it was in gorilla position. And then I think that's about it. Bailey and Lyra won that match, by the way. I show speed, he got cursed. I hope I hope iShow Speed does some some things on his on his YouTube channel. Like that'd be kind of a cool crossover. And then I think it's time, oh uh Dominic Mysterio lost his his matchup against Penta because Finn Balor's music hit got distracted, and then coming off like the top rope, Penta turned it into like a small cradle, and they they said, Oh, that's kind of like when when Dom did to Finn Balor last year at WrestleMania. So if you didn't if you didn't hear that or remember that, you would miss that. But then Finn chased out Dominic Mysterio after JD helped pull him out, but then Finn beat up Dom J D, but Dom just watched it didn't help him out. So it looks like there's gonna be a WrestleMania match. And then after that, the the real the real talking point after that is Paul Heyman. Even though he's having a horrible night, he comes out and he says, All right, I may be a weasel, but I have no one to hide behind, but I am still a man. Let's go. Seth Rollins, I need you to come out here. You know, you get a free shot, you can do whatever you want. I'm just I'm over it. I'm over it. And then the masked man comes, and Seth is on the announce table. And then Paul Heyman says, you know, a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do, or something like that. And he's like, a man, a real man would call the cops. Where my family's a man of stitches, snitches, and so the cops come. And I guess Paul Heyman had a restraining order on Seth freaking Rollins. And the the commentator said that Seth didn't know about this, but I I think you have to know about a restraining order. I'm not a hundred percent sure. It's been a minute since I had a restraining order. Just kidding. I have like five of them. I collect no, no, no. I'm just okay. Moving on, I would totally cut that if this is what was it one take one shot. But, anyways, I don't have any restraining orders, uh, by the way. So the cops take away Seth Rollins, and then and then Paul Heyman, and it was funny because Paul Seth was like, Oh, you got me, you got me, and so he gets arrested, right? And then Paul Heyman proceeds to say, you're gonna be arrested, you're gonna go to jail, your wife's gonna divorce you, she's gonna marry half the locker room, your kid is not gonna have a father, but I'll adopt your kid. And then Seth Rollins just runs away from the cops, jumps in the ring. Paul Heyman throws the microphone at him and he punches him in the and Seth Rollins punches him in the face, starts to attack, the cops get him, and it was very reminiscent of when when Stone Cold Steve Austin was kind of like taken out by the police. That's what it wasn't like to that impact, but it did give it bring me back to that moment, I'm not gonna lie. But Seth Rollins, I you know, it's almost like he he's done that joker laugh so much, it's hard for me to take him serious when he's angry. Like, I don't I just don't see him as angry. I just see him was always smiling and stuff. So, like, either way, either way, they they they they carted him to the back while Paul Heyman was just like laughing about it. So, you know, the Paul Heyman-Seth Rollins feud is actually kind of uh like I'm kind of digging it, honestly. This was this was a step in the right direction. I feel like I feel like I probably should feel a little more like, oh my god, that was awesome, but I liked it still. Like I said, Triple H is trying, and I appreciate that. I do appreciate that. Uh do you guys like the chops or do you like the letter grades? I'm gonna give it, I'm gonna give it one, two, three, four, five, six, six, seven. Six, seven. Seven, I'm sorry, I would cut that too. I would give it seven chops. There was a lot of effort in tonight, and the uh the the old stuff was good, the the the Paul Heyman stuff was good, and we had we had uh the the Roman Punk stuff, J Uso. Honestly, Jay Uso might be my MVP of tonight, even though it was stupid when he when he punched uh with the brass nugs. I loved him at the end, just crashing out. Crash Out J is so freaking awesome and amazing. And CM Punk, I didn't like him just like smack talking the whole entrance music too, so and then Roman coming back. Yeah, you know, decent, decent, maybe 7. 7.2. Let me 7.2. I'll I'll add I'll I'll add little a point two right there, chops. Yeah, what'd you think? What'd you think of Raw?
