Tonight I break down everyWWE SmackDown highlight — and while parts of this show frustrated me, one thing is clear… **the future is bright.**

Trick Williams continues to feel like a star, Jacy Jayne and Fatal Influence brought major energy, and Sami Zayn continues to be one of the most entertaining parts of WWE television right now. Even Lil Yachty getting involved added to the chaos.

I also talk about:

🔥 Tiffany Stratton winning the Women’s U.S. Title
🔥 Why Jacob Fatu chasing Roman Reigns instead of Cody Rhodes feels like a plot hole
🔥 Why Solo Sikoa & the MFTs getting run through felt ridiculous
🔥 My full honest reaction to WWE’s post-WrestleMania SmackDown

Did you enjoy the show — or are there major booking issues WWE needs to fix?

I'm gonna apologize in advance today. I might not be my jovial self. I I've had the worst day. Work sucked. Work sucked today. From the moment I woke up, ring ring ring to the moment I got home and watching SmackDown, ring ring ring. I had to go back and watch like three segments because I had to deal with I I had to grown adults, man. Grown adults don't know how to adult. Anyways, anyways, SmackDown, right? Smackdown. One take, one shot. This is your SmackDown review where I do it immediately following SmackDown. I probably shouldn't grade tonight because like I might allow my my outside emotions affect my my uh my SmackDown review. Okay. Uh you know what though? You know what the bright spot of my day was? I had two people, two people cheered me up, and that was JC Jane and Trick Williams. Those two are a joy to watch. No matter how bad of a mood I'm in, they like they lifted my spirits. Holy cow. They really did a good job introducing fatal attraction, influence, influence, fatal influence, and JC Jane. And boy, I love that the crowd hate her. I love when the crowd hates somebody. And she played it off. She's like, I got all day, I got all day. And her her entourage saying that this is all your fault, that we're gonna beat up Rhea Ripley. They they first they first jumped, they first interfered in the women's tag match against Paige, Brie Bella, Charlotte, and Alexa. They took them out, and it was three on four, so like that's a pretty powerful statement right there. Yeah, they got the surprise, and I thought that was done. I was like, oh, that's a that's a cool little introduction to to Fatal Influence. But then Rhea Ripley came out. She's giving her props to Jay Cargill, kind of sorta, saying, you know what, you, you, you, you, you, you made me fight for it. And then, and then JC Jane and Fatal Influence came out, and man, the crowd hated her, and she just ate it up. They they it was just good, it was just great stuff. I am really digging this latest batch of NXT call-ups, and and Trick Williams, too. Trick Williams right now is involved in my favorite storyline with Sammy Zayn of all people. We had Trick Williams, he comes out of his bus with the gingerbread man mascot from last week, or yeah, last week, and little Yachty is still there. They there's a scene where little Yachty knocks on Trick's door, Trick comes out, and then they knock on the gingerbread gingerbread man's door, the gingerbread man comes out, so the gingerbread man has his own fitting room now. They come out, some guy, some guy goes to Trick, and Trick just slaps him like a stage hand. Like, what? What is going on here? There was a moment where someone's gonna spray him down, you know, and he's like above the belt, below, below the necklace. So just his abs, and they're that is so funny. That is so funny, and the opposite of JC Jane, though, the crowd just they the crowd just loved everything that Trick was doing. And little Yachty is like, you know what? Now that the celebrity tour of WrestleMania is done, guess who's left standing? And little Yachty's like, I'm gonna now be your manager. I'm gonna be the Don King to your Mike Tyson. Oh my gosh. Oh, man. I actually, I actually, Trick doesn't need, Trick doesn't need little Yachty, but I actually do kind of like little Yachty with Trick Williams. It's like he really does add something to the act when it wasn't needed. So, like, great stuff, great stuff. And then then the gingerbread man is with them the whole time. This is like, this is I like I wanted to really see more of this faction. But but like all great factions, the the gingerbread man pulled a Seth Rollins shield betrayal when when Trick wasn't looking, he hit him. The gingerbread man hit Trick Williams. I love that I'm saying these sentences right now. Hit Trick Williams with the candy cane and was revealed to be Sammy Zayn. And Sammy's like, what's going on? Why you guys booing me? Boohoo boo. Oh yeah, and that's like the most, what is it? That's the most redundant costume of all time. A gingerbread man be the gingerbread man. Great stuff. I love Sammy Zayn and his three rider dies somewhere in the audience, cheering him on. And I love Trick Williams. I love this is a storyline. This is actually a story, not just you've got a title, and I want the title. No, at this point, Sammy hates Trick Williams and he wants to fight Trick Williams, and getting the US title is a bonus. It's a it's a bonus, and you know it's a bonus also for you boys and gals out there who watch the channel and enjoy the channel. Well, a bonus is I'm giving away this belt. I'm giving it away tomorrow if I don't have to work. If I do have to work, then I'll I'll just push it. Literally, the first night that I have off, I am going to give away this belt. So my plan is tomorrow. My plan is tomorrow, but I literally might have all right. Time out. You know what? I don't care. We're doing the belt giveaway one way or another tomorrow. Fire me if you have to, job. Just make it quick. I don't care. I said we're doing 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. We're doing 7 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. All right, back to the back to the review. How do you win it? Comment below, subscribe to the channel, and you can win. And if you don't win tomorrow andor Sunday, then 30,000 subscribers. I'm gonna give it away as well. Again, comment, subscribe. Not a toy. Replica. Sorry, one take, one shot. Oh man. Okay, so yeah, Trick Williams though. And Sami Zayn. Best storyline, best storyline. That's what I love about wrestling. Like two months ago, I didn't want to see Sami Zayn at all. And now I'm like Sammy and Trick. Sammy and Trick and Little Yachty. I didn't even know. I didn't even know who little Yachty is. I don't even know what a Yachty is. Why? Is there a big Yachty? A medium yachty? Like, is there this multiverse of Yachtis? I have no idea. But I know that little Yachty and WWE, I don't mind them. And what else? JC Jane did great. Little Yachty did great. Jacob Fatou has totally leveled up. But then I kind of like. I I didn't actually, I'm starting to not like Jacob Fatou as much as I I don't know. I don't know. I know fickle, fickle, fickle. The moment they start pushing Jacob Fatou, you don't like him. And it's like this. It's like this. There's some inconsistency in the storytelling. That's what I really don't like. And they I feel they overpowered Jacob, kind of, sort of. Or so we'll talk, we'll talk about that. So Jacob Fatu comes out. First, he says, I've been told all my life that I'm not ready. And Roman, maybe you're right. Maybe I'm not ready, but we'll just have to see in the ring. And it's like, uh, he could have worded that better, but fine, whatever. Then the Usos come out. It's just us, oos. They come out, and Jacob uh and and Jimmy makes valid points. This is what's so frustrating. Triple H literally sees that there are plot holes. He calls out the plot holes, but then he just ignores them. It's like, I think Triple H is like trying to give me an aneurysm by like, yeah, I know there's plot holes, but I don't care. At least, at least Vince McMahon just ignored the plot holes. But but but like but Triple H just like flaunts the plot holes. He's so Jacob is being told by Jimmy. Jimmy says, Man, why are you going after Roman? You can have everything you wanted. You're on SmackDown. Cody Rhodes is injured and hurt right now. Like he's the guy to go after. You can have everything that you wanted. So don't go after Roman. And then and and that's all true. Literally, it makes more sense for Jacob to go after Cody Rhodes because Jacob has literally said to Roman, I don't want your Ulafala. I do not want to be tribal chief. I just want everything that you have, the money. And you could get that by getting the undisputed title on the brand that you're already a part of. Like, because he didn't he didn't jump ship because apparently he had interview time on SmackDown. So he just went to to Raw to fight for the title when he's a Smackdown guy, and the champion is hurt and injured right now. Why wouldn't he go after Cody Rhodes? In fact, Cody even said later in the night, I'm I'm here. Come and get me, guys. Like all these new, all these new faces. I'm ready. I'm ready. And it's like, so Jimmy literally points out every little flaw in the storyline, and then and then J he's like, What do you think, Jay? And then Jay's like, you know what your problem is, you stepped up against the tribal chief. Now I love right-hand man Jay Uso, so that it was good to see that guy back. And I don't think the I don't think the kiddos understand why Jay isn't eating anymore, because he totally came out not eating and not cut not, you know, in neon colors with yeet across his uh face. And he's like, you stepped up to the tribal chief. And if you want his respect, you're gonna have to like, you're gonna have to step up. So it's like Jay didn't even acknowledge anything that Jimmy said. It was like Jay just wanted to say what he wanted to say, which I'm fine with, but again, why wouldn't Jacob go after Cody? And Jacob doesn't even really say anything why he doesn't go after Cody. He's just like, he's they're interrupted by Soto, Sokoa, and and it was kind of cool because the MFTs come out, and then Thomas like, what are we even doing here? Like, why are we why are we part of this? And he gets super kicked for that. And Solo makes fun about how Jacob has never beaten him. So they're a match is gonna happen tonight. And the Usos are like, well, we'll get your back. And Jacob's like, no, I don't need your back. And what I did not like about this, what I did not like is, and I might be a little hypocritical here, but I'm more I'm more apt to be okay with a with a villain, a heel being overpowered, because then the babyface has to overcome, than a than a babyface being overpowered. Because Jacob Fatou, during this whole entire match, he completely owned the MFTs. Like, literally, it was 1v4 because Tall Tonga was not present, and he owned them. He beat them all up. At one point, the Usos were gonna come and help, but he was beating up the entire faction so bad that the Usos just stood there and watched. And and he beat Solo Sokoa. And I don't like that. I don't like that. I I gotta I gotta be true to myself. That was one of the things why I stopped liking Sami Zayn a couple months ago. Because I was like, Sami Zayn is completely dominating the uh the MFTs, and if I'm being honest, no, Jacob completely dominated the MFTs tonight than Sami Zayn. And I get it, there is a difference. And even when Jacob Fatou first appeared on the scene, he literally won V3'd Cody, Randy, and Kevin Owens, and I applauded that. So I think it's the fact that he is he is a face now, a baby face, and I just was like, oh man. And I like solo Sokoa. I don't like solo getting completely just owned like that. So like I I did feel some kind of way. And it's good for Jacob. Like he's getting, you know, the hero treatment, but I don't know. It's just just what's the point of the MFTs? That's what I'm wondering. What are the point of the MFTs? It's not like they're the it's not like they're a job squad. I mean, they are, but it's they're not supposed to be the job squad. They were supposed to be they were supposed to be solo Sokoa's answer to the bloodline, and and they might as well be 3MB from back in the day, you know. So I'm I'm a little I get it. He needs to look tough to face Roman, and we're trying to level him off. You know, it's just I don't know. What did you think? What do you think? Am I overreacting on this one? Um I may be. Maybe it's maybe it's the fact that I like I am so bitter at life right now that I'm just like it's spilling over into my into and I'm I'm I'm uh I'm pointing my bitterness at Jacob Fatu, beating everybody up. I don't know. Let me know in the comments below. Do you like when one guy beats up an entire faction that is supposed to be taken serious? Let me know in the comments below. What else we got? Solo comes out, Ms. Ms. and Danhausen. I like this. I like this. I am a little afraid we're gonna overexpose Danhausen, but I liked that there are two, there were two segments, there were two segments on on SmackDown that just were Dan Housen going to the Miz's house. And you know, it was it was campy, it was campy, but it was still kind of funny. I like that the Miz or Danhausen stole the Miz's bike, a daughter's bike. That was funny. So there were moments. There were moments where I was like, oh god, that's lame, and then there were gods like that's cringe, and then there were moments like oh I'm laughing, I'm laughing. So great stuff there. And then Danhausen and Miz will have a match. They will actually have a match, and he stole a slammy too. What I so I don't like that the curse is like a real thing. I like when the curse is a coincidental thing. When he cursed Dominic Mysterio and then Dom just lost, like that's like Danhausen should believe that his curse is real, but but Dom could be like, I just lost. It wasn't like, don't read too much into it. But tonight, he cursed the Miz and the Pyros went off. But this is the second time the pyros went off here, so it's like this curse is real. And I I don't like that. Like we even with The Undertaker. I never liked when The Undertaker shot lightning out of his when the when he shot lightning out of his hands. There was just a point. I like creepy, but not like superpower, supernatural. And I know, I know it's funny, it's this, it's that, but like the first time the Pyros went off with Kit Wilson, you know, that was, you know, could be a coincidence, a malfunction. But the fact that it did it twice in a row the moment he did it. I hope next week they can fix it, though. It's an easy fix. Next week, just have Dan Housen like paying somebody off, or somebody like just a huge Dan Hausen fan, a Dan uh a Stanhausen, and then we could be, and he's the pyro guy. Then then it's all explained because we just need to have real life coincidences and explanations for Danhausen's curse for it to, you know, be to for me to really land better. I like the coincidental things. The the curse should be 100%, but it needs to be coincidental. Does that make sense? Does that make sense? I hope it does. Like, oh, you just you just hate Dan Housen. I don't. I actually really enjoy Dan Housen. Tiffany Stratton beat Tiffany Stratton beat Julia. I thought this was a grill really good match, a really good match. There was a point where they were gonna do a tilt of whirl into a Alabama slam, and they kind of missed that. So it took me out of that moment, which was unfortunate because I was right at the go home, at the go home part of the matchup, but it was a really decent match. I feel bad for Julia because like both of her title rings have sucked. She just deserves better, in my opinion. She deserves better. It looks like we're gonna get Julia and Keanu Reese breaking up too, which probably is a probably is a pretty good call. Hopefully, hopefully Julia just goes to Raw, to be honest with you. Just say, forget it. I'm done here, I'm done here, and goes to Raw. Also, Ricky Saints is coming. Ricky Saints is coming to to SmackDown, JC Jane, Blake Monroe. Oh, I love Blake Monroe. She did like a little like vignette or or or promo to set her up. And like she's speaking in third person the whole time to it's revealed, and I think she's in a bubble bath or something, and it's her talking. Like, I think Blake Monroe is what I wanted Tiffany Stratton to be. So I'm very much looking forward to Blake Monroe coming to the main roster, and it's gonna be like it's gonna be a packed, it's gonna be packed. JC Jane and Blake Monroe, like that's a score. That's a score. Then Bella and Paige came out, they said how happy they were, and then Charlotte and Alexa came out and said how happy they weren't. And then, like I said, during the match, at some point, the fatal influence came out and attacked. We have Cody. Cody comes out, he is getting booed, but he does win the crowd over, and they start cheering him. I like he has a really nasty, nasty eye, and you know, he doesn't, you know, he doesn't say anything crazy. He does kind of call out TKO, wink, wink, nudge, nudge, saying he's 3-0 against the powers that be, because you know, there was the rock that came for WrestleMania 40, then Travis Scott, WrestleMania 41, and then and then Jelly Roll and Pat McAfee, WrestleMania 42. But technically, Travis Scott did beat him, so in reality, I mean and and honestly, the rock did also beat him in in night one of WrestleMania 40, but I think I think he means last man standing. I'm still here, they are not. And so, but the crowd started to cheering him again. We have we have uh a tag match, we have Truth and Priest versus Tomatonga and JC Mateo, hate that name, and yeah, uh Damien Priest, Damien Priest, and Damien Priest and Truth, they won again, and they're building a healthy resume of tag matches, I guess. We have Trick Williams, already said, just came out. God, I love this guy. Like, honestly, all in, all in. He's probably my favorite right now. I think Trick Williams just shot right to the right to the top of my favorite list. And Sammy Zayn, his heel work is is well loving Sami Zayn right now. Loving Sammy Zayn. To all the people who've always said, Oh, you just hate Sammy. No, I don't hate Sammy. I hated his character the way he was being presented. But now I love the character that he's being presented, and he's like, ride or die, baby. We already talked Dan Housen, Blake Monroe, Rhea Ripley. Rhea Ripley did a had a great, it was a great match with JC Jane. It really was a great match, and that's pretty much it. Because then and then we end, we end with Jacob and Solo and just owning the MFTs. It's like, I don't know what we're gonna do with the MFTs. Like, how do they ever, how do they ever seem like a threat after this? How do they ever seem like a threat like after this? It could happen, you know. You just I don't know, whatever. Alright, boys, all right, girls. You know, it was the Smackdown after Mania. JC Jane and Trick really, their parts were spectacular. Everything else I was a little iffy on. I'll give it a six. One, two, three, four, five, six. Not sure if I said I was gonna grade this SmackDown or not, but now I just did. It's a six, but like let me know if my only like me being in my feelings or aggravated, like, was this a better Smackdown? I need you to tell me. Tell me what you rate this Smackdown between, you know, one to ten chops. All right, boys, all right, girls. Hoping tomorrow we do the belt giveaway. Like, I really we're we're doing it. You know, we gotta do it. We gotta do the belt giveaway. Boys, girls, see ya bye.
