Ep 18: The Gospel of Enough: Profit, Margin & Building a Business That Proclaims the Good News (Proverbs 3:9-10)
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
This episode is a little different — and honestly, one of the most personal ones Dr. Lee has recorded to date.
She recorded this one in her car. No desk, no studio setup. Just her, her thoughts, and a whole lot of things God has been doing in her life and business that she could not wait to share with you.
This episode is all about Dr. Lee's word of the year: profit. Not profit the way the business world defines it, but profit the way God defines it. As margin. As space. As the gap between what is absolutely needed and what is available.
And y'all, when she started actually living that out, everything changed.
In this episode, she shares:
- Why God called me to focus on profit and margin at the start of this year — and what that actually required me to do
- The truth about our agency restructuring — we have fewer clients now than when we started, and we are making more money. Here is how that happened.
- What it looks like when you follow God's direction and people leave — and why that is not always a bad thing (even when it hurts)
- The difference between a God-ordained opportunity and a Wish.com version of what you actually want
- How God has been calling me back to writing and speaking — and what that has to do with my primary spiritual gift as a professor
- Why I believe the most important thing we can do as Christian entrepreneurs is share both the love AND the truth of Jesus through the way we run our businesses
- What Regulated Roots Academy is really about — and what the three tiers of membership look like moving forward
- A sneak peek at our summer podcast series on the seven spiritual gifts
This episode is for you if you have been grinding without margin, saying yes to the wrong things, or quietly wondering if the way you are building your business is actually aligned with what God is calling you to do.
The good news? It is never too late to create space....
And God always honors obedience.

So I'm recording this podcast in my car. And I cannot remember the last time that I recorded anywhere but a desk. And I used to record our previous podcast like all over the world. And on my phone a lot. So this episode, I think, is definitely more raw and real than any episode I've done on this podcast to date. I wanted to just share about some of the things that have been coming up for me personally as we have been growing regulated roots and as we have been growing as agency owners and as partners and entrepreneurs in general and children of God. Because I think that a lot of this stuff just doesn't get talked about. And in the next several months on the podcast, you are going to notice that we're getting a little more locked in. There are going to be themes. You're going to notice that there's two episodes per week. The first one's actually going to be YouTube slash TikTok video podcast. And it's going to be me training. So you will get the audio on the podcast. My high-level suggestion is that you go watch it as a video podcast or you head to YouTube where it's going to live, at least for the first seven days. You'll still be able to listen to the audio here forever, but the video is actually going to get taken down. It's getting put into the training vault in our regulated Bruce Academy School community. So if you haven't joined that yet, it is one dollar per month. There's a free seven-day trial. And that's actually what I'm going to be talking about in this episode too, is how we are shifting our membership community and how we are really changing how we approach the academy, which we're really not, but on paper it looks like a change. But I'm going to tell you about why it's not actually a change. So if you haven't joined that space already, you can head to the show notes and join the Regulated Roots Academy today. So you'll be able to access all of those Tuesday video trainings. I'm using a whiteboard, y'all. They're going to be amazing. And then on Thursdays, you're going to hear our guest episodes. But they're all going to have a vibe to them. You're going to notice that there's some significant themes. And the reason behind this is that God has been nudging me so clearly to speak more. And not just on stages. I get the opportunity to speak and to teach, to train on stages a good three to four times a year. And I would absolutely love more opportunities to do that. And he's been really calling me back to, okay, Lee, it's time to be speaking more on the podcast. It's time to be more intentional with the YouTube channel. It's time to be more of a prophet in the sense that I am speaking out what I'm seeing, what I'm hearing, what I'm discerning. I'm using my judge gift and my professor gift and my motivator gift, which are three of the seven spiritual gift profiles. And another plug right here. If you haven't taken our spiritual assessment of gifts for entrepreneurs, the Sage Diagnostic, you can also find that link in the show notes. It's grow inyourgifts.com. But he's calling me to use those gifts more from a profit perspective, to speak out, to give people good news, right? It's so funny. I'm recording this in front of my daughter's music studio, and there's a church right next door that says the good news church. And it's yes, we need to be talking about the good news, sharing that more. But the good news and how it pertains to entrepreneurship, the good news and how it pertains to leadership, how we can be good stewards and CEOs and leaders and bosses and collaborators and independent contractors and students and mentees and all of the things. So he's been calling me to that. And I had a word of the year laid on my heart. And I think I've mentioned this in previous episodes, but I had a word of the year laid on my heart in January, and it was the word profit, but I heard it. I didn't see it. And so when I asked God, like I was praying about it, I said, which one, God? Like P-R-O-F-I-T or P-R-O-P-H-E-T? And he was like, Yes. I went, okay, cool. So we're going to focus on financial profit and we're going to focus on the prophetic word, like speaking and sharing, right? And so the first half of the year, a lot of this was focusing on profit, the F-I-T version. So a lot of times when we talk about profit, we talk about profit margin, right? A business that has a really good profit margin is a business that we typically look at and consider to be healthy. What I think is so interesting about that is that sometimes yes, sometimes no. But a business that is more profitable is more likely to be successful, right? That's not the only thing that determines a business's success. But that margin piece is really it. So margin is space. If something is profitable, it means it has space. There is a gap between what is absolutely needed and what is available. So there is capacity. There's capacity for growth, there's capacity for change, there's capacity for other things to happen and to still have enough assets to do the thing that has come up. And as somebody who's for most of her life just operated at like pedaled to the metal, 100% max effort all the time. It's all or nothing. I've thrown myself into things and maxed my capacity for the longest time. And that's something that I was, like I said, working on for the first half of this year, even before that. But I feel like God really called me to work on that. And we've made some incredible changes. We actually did an entire restructuring of our agencies. We opened last April, and then in November, we did a little bit of a restructure. And then in March, we did another really big restructure. And so we had some clients that left. We had some clients that changed the way in which they were in relationship with us. And the coolest part about it was that the vast majority of all of the relationships that restructured were done in a way that we're still good with those people, right? And they don't always go that way. And I think that's something that a lot of people don't want to hear. They don't want to hear, oh, when God calls you to move, when he calls you to change or to shift, everyone's going to be happy with you. There's a way for you to find to shift that no one's going to get upset. No relationships are going to change. Everything's going to just stay hunky-dory, copacetic. No, that's not how it works. Things are not going to stay the same. They can't. Relationships have to change. And a lot of times, you going in a different direction doesn't mean that person's bad or you're bad. It just simply means that you're not meant to go in that direction. And sometimes, like following God's direction, there is so much divine protection in that. Because as you shift to the direction you're going and you start feeling like you're really aligning more with where God is calling you to go, where Jesus is leading you to go, the Holy Spirit is speaking to you to go. Other people are like, ooh, I don't want that. Or they get kind of upset or dysregulated or irritated. And sometimes their demons start coming out, y'all. And it has been a really interesting experience to watch how the vast majority of those relationships, yeah, it was painful. It was tough to have those conversations. And there was so much on the back half of that when we were like, hey, we are trying to get more in alignment. This is what needs to shift for us. How many people were like, yeah, okay, let's go. How many people were like, not quite like that, but maybe like this? And there were a few that were like, peace. See you later. Don't call, right? Don't call me, I'll call you. We know they're not gonna call. I share that because I want you to see the reality behind it. But here's the numbers behind it. And I recently shared this testimonial with a dear friend of mine who helped us with some of our alignment, particularly around our pricing and packaging. Her name's Shannon Mattern. She runs Web Designer Academy and Anchor High. She is a pricing and packaging specialist, and she has this proprietary system called Package Matrix that I've actually become a certified teacher and practitioner in. And in that process, as we were going through it, I was talking to her and she's like, well, what results have you seen as you've been working on using package matrix to make your business more profitable? Because that's the whole point. And it's not just about money, it's about space, it's about time. Can you work less and earn more? Or can you work the same amount and earn more? Or can you work less and earn less and still get back so much time and so much space? But basically, package matrix helps you create more capacity. And so I'm talking to her and she's like, What have you seen? And I was like, Well, we restructured 85% of our contracts and kept 15% the same. We are working 60% less, and we are making 12% less per month. And that was at that time. We're actually making more now per month. And she was like, that's such a wild testimonial because a lot of times people go, Oh, I use package matrix or I restructure, realign, and I make more. That's always what people put out. Y'all, sometimes you're not gonna make more. Sometimes you're going to lose money, but not all money is good money. Not all money is good money, not all money is aligned money. And there is some money that will come to you and it will come to you from the world. It will not come to you from God. It will come to you from the enemy. And God's gonna allow it because He's gonna use it for your good. And you've got to be a good steward. You've got to know when to say no. This was all also happening as I was going through the book Mission Drift, which, if you haven't read that book, I will link it in the show notes. It's absolutely phenomenal. And as we were approaching our business, you know, that one's a lot about nonprofits. And as we are actually preparing to found a nonprofit, as at the time this podcast comes out, the paperwork will already be filed. And we'll be telling y'all more about that later. As my husband and I are planning to start this nonprofit, I will tell you, your commitment to your mission is caramo. Like the mission is the thing that matters. And if every single person who is entering into your company, particularly those who are going to be decision makers, is not in alignment with that mission, you are going to have problems. Okay. So that counts on the internal side of the business, where you and your employees, your contractors, your collaborators, your business partners, whomever, like y'all have to stay true to the mission. And also when you have people wanting to throw money at you, because this will happen. I've seen it happen time and time again. You'll let people throw money at you or try to throw money at you and say, Hey, can you help me with this? And it's like, okay, let me come back to my spiritual gifts. Yeah, this would be in my spiritual gifts. I would get to use my primary motivational gift. Oh my gosh, like this would have all these benefits. And then God's like, don't do that. Don't go there. That's not it. Pause, pray on it. Like you maybe you don't even stop to pause and pray on it. You just say yes and you don't even consult God. Like, again, not all money is good money. Not all opportunities are good opportunities. Just because they look good, like they on paper evaluatively may be awesome. That doesn't mean it's right for you. That does not mean it's right for you. And so that was the other part of this that we were really going through was like, we had the opportunity of pursuing some things that had a lot of money attached to them. But we learned that lesson last year that, like, just because someone's willing to pay you a lot of money does not mean that your values align. And if you have to drift from your mission, you have to drift from your own values in order to be able to stay in a place with a client or to get along with a with one of your employees or one of your collaborators, that is a sign. That's a sign that this isn't a good opportunity. This isn't something that God probably has ordained, right? It's it's tough to own that. It's tough to own the fact that there are opportunities out there that the enemy is gonna put in front of us that I like to refer to them as the wish version. If anyone's ever shopped on Wish. I remember I used to get Facebook ads on Wish for Wish.com all the time. And it and I see all these reviews, and people are like, yeah, I bought this thing that I thought was gonna be five foot tall and it's five inches tall. It's the wish.com version of what you actually want. It looks good, it sounds good, it appears to be good on the surface. What is seen looks to be good, but the unseen, if you take a moment and really drop into that inner discernment, you're gonna be able to tell right off the bat this is not it. Or sometimes you can't even tell, but you just get such a clear nudge from God and He tells you, wait, or not yet, or no, this isn't it. And you have to be obedient, and that is so tough. But this is how we at regulated roots have been creating space. So we have less clients now than when we started last year. We're making more money now than we were making last year, especially after these last few months of that full release, and then other people who were more aligned coming in. We're operating more in our gifts since the beginning of the year. So that first part of the year was truly focusing on creating that margin. And we're continuing to do that. And there's still things that get to get cleaned up. We are by no means finished. This is an ever-evolving, iterative process. And it just feels really good. It feels really good to be able to look at what we're doing in our business and go, okay, we've created this space. And here's why I think God called me to focus in on the profit FIT piece first. And it was because I needed space to be able to figure out what the heck I was supposed to be saying and how I was supposed to be saying it, and where I was supposed to be saying it, and why I was supposed to be saying it, and to who I was supposed to be saying it. But that's been such a cool journey because my primary spiritual gift is that of the professor. And I'm pretty strong in the judge area as well. And I'm also pretty strong in the motivator. And by the way, if you haven't taken the Sage diagnostic yet, or maybe you have, and you're like, man, I'm not totally familiar with the seven types. This summer series of the podcast, you're gonna get several episodes where I break down each and every one of these seven spiritual gifts. So just so you know, that's coming. There's gonna be an overarching episode that explains all of them, and then I'm gonna really get in there and talk about how these gifts work. So get excited for that if you're interested in it. And like I said, those replays will live in our regulated Roots Academy, the training pieces with the whiteboard and the notes and all those pieces and parts. So make sure to join that little nudge there. So what I realized was is like being called back to writing and being called back to speaking. So God laid two things on my heart. The first was around speaking. The second thing that God really laid on my heart was around writing. And for those who don't know, I've been writing for a very long time. A funny story, in high school, my senior year, I enrolled in AP English. And I remember after the first two weeks, my teacher came to my parents and said, Hey, I think she needs to drop out to just regular English. She's not keeping up, like the reading comprehension's not there. And my parents were like, What are you talking about? This girl's been reading since she was three and a half. She's voracious. What do you mean? And she's she's a great writer. Like, what's going on? And that teacher was like, Well, she just she's not doing well in the quizzes. And it, the quizzes were all like very, very detailed. Well, I'm like more of a big picture person, which, hello, now that we know my gift, that makes a lot of sense. If if you want to ask me, like, what was the name of this character on page 25? I'm not gonna remember that. But you want me to get into themes, you want me to get into lessons? Absolutely. But that class was really helpful for me because it was one of the first times that I had somebody really doubt my ability. And I had the opportunity to go, you know what? Yeah, I'm just gonna drop down or be like, no, I'm gonna try this. Well, I stuck it out in that class and ended up getting the highest score you can get on an AP exam, which is a five. Got full credit for English when I went to college, and then ended up using a lot of these skills in my master's programs. But you have to write so many papers in there. And then in my doctoral program, I wrote a 60-page practice project. So I have a practice doctorate, so it's similar to a dissertation. It's not quite as intense, but 60-page project, like essentially wrote a book. And we're talking eight and a half by 11 paper, y'all. So we're not talking like a reading book. And I share that because God laying this entire outline for this book and it being about my experience as a Christian and particularly as a Catholic, and getting like slowly sucked into new age spirituality and really the devil meeting me right in the middle of all of that and being like, hey, I'm not just gonna mess with your business. I'm gonna mess with your marriage, I'm gonna mess with your body, I'm gonna mess with your parenting, I'm gonna mess with everything. And learning about God's grace and Jesus' true salvation, because I thought I understood it before, but that experience just really taught me about how insidious the enemy can be and how he can sneak in, even when we think we know Jesus and we think we love God and we think we're being righteous and holy and like following what the church teaches us. Y'all, it is very easy to get led astray. And a lot of the saints have talked about this, they've written about this. A lot of times we don't start sinning with something really big. We get, once we're like pretty good and we're in a routine and we're feeling like, okay, I know Jesus, I'm drawing close to him every day, things are going well. That's when the devil gets us because it's, oh, well, just skip church this one time, or just don't read your Bible verses this one time, or just don't do this one time. It's gonna be fine, right? He will start messing with the habits and the structures and the practices that you've put in place. And a lot of times what happens is then it gets replaced with other structures and other habits, and that's what happened. So I had been like deep into pagan rituals and new age spirituality, like worship practices, not even recognizing it when I was a self-professed Christian. And it took me, like it took a lot of that stuff falling apart. And Jesus, honestly, when I asked him for help, like humbling me and saying, I'm gonna open your eyes and let you see all the places that this is not of me. This is not of my father, right? Well, when that happened, it took me a solid two to three years to really process that. And this past several months, as I've been creating that space, it's allowed for me to really sit with a lot of the decisions and the mistakes and the patterns that I've had for decades and to go, okay, how do I want this to shift? And so for me, writing has always been a really beautiful way of teaching and sharing out the lessons that I have either just learned or am personally learning. And speaking is too, like right now, when I do a podcast, I love speaking to y'all. I love sharing all of these things with you. And it's such a mutually beneficial thing because I process, I talk, I learn more, I embody things while I'm talking to you. So I started writing. I started just sitting down and really trying to process out everything that happened. And that's when God was like, This is a book. And I said, Okay, all right, cool. I want to write this. I don't want to write this book. Like, I just processed. Like, I'm good now. Do I have to? And he was like, Yeah, I mean, you don't have to. You've got free will. But other Christians, other Catholics, other women who love me, who have been led astray, or other women who might be led astray and don't even realize that they're about to be led astray, need to read this book. And they need to read it from this perspective of not being ashamed and being called in in love while also experiencing the truth. And when I think about the good news of Jesus, Jesus brought love and truth. He brought to light to anyone who wants to know the truth about who God is and who Jesus was. And he brought God's love down to a point that we could actually reconnect with it again. That's what Jesus did. He restored our ability to be connected to God. And not only that, to have the Holy Spirit in us continually so that we can always receive his truth and always receive his love and also always give him love back. And I just think that's so gorgeous. And that's the book. So I have been just in my head really struggling with okay, how am I gonna publish it? And how am I gonna do this? And how am I gonna do that? And then I realized, oh, I've fallen into one of the biggest traps that people fall into, which is I'm worrying about the how because I'm trying to figure out how to get certain outcomes to come out of it instead of just doing what he tells me to do. So I sat down and I asked myself, okay, well, how is this gonna be the easiest for me to do? And I was like, well, it's gonna be blog articles. And then I thought, okay, well, most of my blog articles that I write now, I write from speaking. And I was like, well, I could just record this and then turn it into blog articles and then turn that into the book. So hilariously, even the writing that I'm doing is coming from speaking. It's coming from this profit perspective. And I really also feel I'd Like this is kind of cool because a lot of the letters in the gospel, a lot of the gospel itself was oral tradition that was then written down. These are stories that people heard or stories that were like orated. Paul's letters and other apostles' letters written by their scribes, written by other people who would be able to help them get their ideas down on paper. So I just thought that was such a neat thing that it's, oh, I'm doing this the way that a lot of them would. But some of them actually wrote it themselves, but a lot of them orated this, narrated this, and then it was written down by someone else. And now we get to read that all the time. And to be clear, I'm not comparing myself to an apostle. I am not St. Paul. Although, God willing, I could become a saint like him, but that's gonna require a lot of change and a lot of works on my part. And it's just doing it in the way that they used to do it. I just thought that was so neat. Well, that also led me to okay, well, I'm processing all of this stuff around closing our trauma institute. We ran the Institute for Trauma and Psychological Safety, which then we changed the name to the Institute for Trauma Recovery and Regulation. But we ran that institute for four years. And there was so much good teaching in there that I felt like I just had to completely set to the side when we decided to no longer run a secular business and to run a Christian business. As I've been thinking about how we want the academy to be set up moving forward and really moving toward being more of a teacher, using the speaking gift as teaching. So these podcasts being more teaching focused, especially my solo ones, calling them even trainings, teaching way more in the academy, less coaching and more teaching and training. And obviously happy to answer questions, but not coming at it from the perspective of the motivator gift, which a lot of people do when they speak. The motivator gift is all about helping people transform. The professor gift is all about helping people embody wisdom. Those are two different things. When we embody wisdom, that is a receptive process a lot of the time. Motivation is really about then, okay, how do I take what I've got and then go use it, right? So motivators oftentimes are trying to spur people into action. Professors are trying to get people to slow down and get still and listen and pay attention and understand in a deeper way what the wisdom of what's going on. And so I started to kind of tease that out and go, okay, I want this to be less motivator, although that's there. Don't get me wrong. I will be your hype human, especially if you're being mean to yourself, like the devil's in your ear and you can't remember God's words. I will show up, I will pull up and I will show out. You're gonna get some scripture from me. And I just really wanted to focus in on more of the professor side. And so I started looking at how we could restructure the academy. And in that, this weekend, I had the opportunity to sit down with two dear friends and they helped me. As one of them was talking through an issue, I pulled out the whiteboard. God had nudged me to bring the whiteboard to this weekend retreat that we were having because I wasn't planning on teaching. And I actually pulled out a training, one of the very first frameworks that I came up with when we had started the institute called the Six Patterns of Chronic Dysregulation. And it's all about nervous system regulation. And what was so cool is that back then, when I had created that framework, I had never looked at it through the lens of Jesus. But this time, when I did it, I was able to tie in biblical wisdom. I was able to bring in how Jesus was the perfect example of how we want to be regulated. And also I was able to show these few times that Jesus got upset, those were actually regulated things because of how stressful of the situation is how much stress was present in those times. And as I was doing that, I was like, oh yeah. Okay, I've been sitting here doubting if the way that I'm setting up the academy is correct. The enemies in my ear telling me that I'm not going to be reliable, nobody's gonna want this, nobody wants to listen to me, nobody wants to hear me. And y'all, I say this with humility, okay? Because humility is owning who you are and not pretending to be someone you're not. God has given me gifts of speaking, God has given me gifts of reaching people with a message of teaching. And what I think is so funny is that this is how our gifts get distorted. And I wanted to just give you this example so you know I'm not immune to this. Even as you become way more knowledgeable about this, sometimes the devil comes after you even harder. He has been in my ear, pulling up all of these examples of times that I tried to start a membership before and failed, times that I tried to do something and I wasn't consistent, times that I said something out loud publicly and people got upset with me. He was trying to just pull up all of these examples. And the deepest one that I wasn't even planning on sharing here, but the deepest one was when you start to speak your truth, people leave. When you get more aligned with God, people leave you. And this goes back to what I was saying at the beginning. When we restructured from that profitable perspective and really aligning with how we felt like God was ordaining our business to be structured, people left. And the interesting thing was that didn't feel stressful. If that didn't hurt like it did in the past, because I knew that if those relationships were relationships that were meant to be sustained, then God would help me sustain them. I knew that if those relationships were healthy and aligned with where God was taking me and us, that they would survive. And I realized that in this moment of starting to speak more and starting to write more and publishing that book and bringing the academy out and doing a lot more training there and starting to talk a lot more on Instagram again, because I'm back on Instagram and sharing these messages on TikTok and on YouTube and all these places, I've got to trust that even if people leave, God won't. Even if people leave, God won't. And also, my husband is my best friend and he's not going anywhere. But even if he were to leave, even if my kids were to leave, even if my parents were to leave, even if my siblings were to leave, even if everybody in the world decided that I was like persona non grata, would I still want to be sharing the message that I'm sharing right now? Would I still want to say these things? Would I still think it mattered? And the answer was yes. The answer was yes. And so part of the reason that I'm sitting here in the car recording this podcast right now instead of waiting for later is because I just realized the devil's just trying to keep me from doing this because I get to share so much more of the good news on the other side. Just today, I recorded a video and put it out about how we as Christians need to talk about God's truth and Jesus' truth just as much as we talk about his love. Because the love might bring people in, but not telling them the truth will make them leave. Jesus' love will bring people in, but not telling them the truth about what they're gonna need to change, what they're gonna give up, like how letting the Holy Spirit into your heart is literally gonna wreck you in so many beautiful, amazing ways. It's gonna suck, it's gonna be so painful. It's also gonna be the best experience of your life, and you wouldn't have it any other way. We've got to talk about the both and. We've got to talk about the both and. And so that is really what Regulated Roots Academy is about. Yes, it's a place for entrepreneurship. Yes, it's a place for leadership, yes, it's a place to learn the roots of business and how to be regulated in business and learn how to create offers and learn how to set up your operations and learn how to grow a team and learn how to sustain your business and scale. And it's really about can we utilize our gifts, our unique spiritual gifts, in a way that honors and obeys God's will, that shows his truth and his love, that centers Jesus and that really proclaims the good news. That when people experience our entrepreneurship and our leadership and what we create and how we interact with the world, when people experience us, it makes them want to get to know Jesus more. It makes them go, wow, if she can have peace through all of this, I want to get to know him more. If she can forgive that person, I want to get to know the savior that's allowing her to do that. If she can stop and pause and pray and stay calm in a situation that everybody else would flip their lid, I want to learn more about how the Holy Spirit helps her do that. If she can have faith and trust in a situation that most people would just completely give up, I want to learn about this God that she respects so much, that she reveres and is in awe of so much that she's like, God, even if it doesn't go the way I want, even if this kills me, I will do this because I trust you. That's who we want to be in our businesses and as leaders and in our lives, right? Because a lot of times we focus on this stuff professionally. And in reality, the personal and the professional don't have a line between them, especially as entrepreneurs, especially if you work out of your home, if you work with somebody that you're related to or that you're like really good friends with. Some of you work with your kids or your spouses. That this stuff is not demarcated. There's no clear line between my business and my personal life, right? I might have on and off time where I'm focusing on one or the other. And this idea that you becoming a better Christian business owner isn't going to make you a better person. That's silly. You work on one, it's going to improve you in the other. And I've seen it time and time and time again. So, like I said, we've got our free content. You can listen to my TikTok videos. Those also get posted to Facebook, to Instagram, and to YouTube. And the way that our academy is going to work moving forward is we wanted to create three tiers for people that really serve them where they're at. So the first tier is the VIP tier. And by the way, y'all, I did not come up with these names. Standard, premium, VIP. These are school. They would choose something different, but this is just what they're named. So we go with it. In the VIP tier, it's 99 a month or 999 for the year. You are going to get everything in the standard and the premium tiers. Okay. So everything that I talk about moving forward, you get access to all of that. And you're also going to get access to our monthly challenges. We ran one of these in April and one of these in May. And this was the most successful emotional embodiment of wisdom and practices I'd ever seen. We had such positive feedback. And what this looks like is that each month you're going to have a theme. And they are so fitting, y'all. The themes just always come, and people are like, oh my gosh, this theme is so perfect. So you're going to have this theme, and then we're going to have a training that directly relates to that theme for that month. So in the month of July, the theme is going to be all around our gifts. In the month of August, it's going to be all around regulation. And then the training will be in July on our gifts, our spiritual gifts. And in August, it's going to be on the R of the roots of business regulation. And then we'll have more moving forward. But you get a daily prompt and you also get a daily tracker. And so this tracker is amazing. This is what people were absolutely loving. The tracker is going to basically help you really start to embody the things that you're trying to learn. Trackers are awesome because they're great evaluative tools. They take you less than three to five minutes a day. You write a couple of things down, and over time you start noticing patterns. You start noticing where things are working, where they're not, where you need help, where you need to pray, where you need advice, where you're like, I don't need to change anything. I just get to keep doing what I'm doing. But we do that every day for the whole month. You also get weekly mentorship trainings with me. And this is the only place besides the monthly QA in the premium tier. This is the only place you're going to actually get coaching or mentorship from me. I want it to be with the people who are locked in and ready to go. And so this is, like I said, you're on those calls live. I'm going to have a theme. I'm going to talk for minutes. And then you get to come in and we're going to have a conversation together. And I really have designed these to be more like, yes, it's mentorship for me, but it's mastermind because we want to have a good community conversation. We want to learn from each other. We want to edify and exhort and support. And if you've got a resource, if you've got a Bible verse, if you've got a good book, if you've gone through something similar and you want to share in the comments, like, yes, you know, here's what I'm thinking. It's going to be that kind of vibe. And I'm very excited about that. You're going to have that monthly challenge, which I did not mention. You also can win up to $2,000 in prizes every single month. Every single month you can win $2,000 in prizes. And we have multiple prizes. And it's for participation. It's not the person who participates the most. There's a standard of you participate in 15 of the 30 days, and you're going to be entered to win one of those prizes. Okay. So you get the monthly challenge with the prizes, you get the weekly trainings, and then you get access to everything else in these next two tiers. In the premium tier, you get everything in the standard tier plus where you're going to get a monthly training on the roots of business. And then you're also going to get access to a monthly QA. And so you can come and ask any questions. I don't just have to be about regulation or operations or whatever, like anything around being a Christian business owner. You can get that there. And then you also will get access to our 10-day Sage Journey course. This is a course I recorded earlier in the year. It is one of the most in-depth and also one of the best trainings I've ever done. And I'm giving God the glory on that one completely because I was fully inspired by him. And it just walks you through how to use your spiritual gifts in entrepreneurship. But we deep dive, y'all. We talk about so many different topics. We talk about marketing, we talk about selling, we talk about building that team. We talk about all of the ways that you, after identifying your primary gift, can use that to then completely revamp and deepen and divinely align your business with God's plan. So you get access to that. You can join the standard tier of our regulated Roots Academy for $1 a month or $10 for the whole year. I know it's a lot for that whole dollar a month. You get access to a weekly Bible study with me. You get all of the replays of the TikTok, YouTube trainings from the past. And then you're going to get access to our three core masterclasses. You're going to get access to growing your gifts, which is going to teach you all about your spiritual gifts. You're going to get access to our timetable masterclass, which really talks about operating in God's time and with his assets. And then you're going to get access to our Roots of Business masterclass, which really walks you through what I just said, the regulation, the offers, the operations, the team, and the sustaining and scaling and talk you through that. So I hope that y'all consider joining us in Regulated Roots Academy. I hope to see you taking the sage. If you're in Regulated Roots Academy and you've taken the Sage and you want to post in there and let me know and be like, these are my results, I'm always so happy to take a peek at them when I have the capacity. So this is what the word profit has looked like for me for the last year. And this is how I am planning to use my gifts as God has been revealing them to me more and more and helping me understand why I went through everything I went through in the last several years and really my entire life in order to share his good news, in order to share his word and his wisdom. And I hope that this encourages you to really start thinking about how you can use your gifts or if you have a word of the year that he's called you to, what does that mean in relationship to your spiritual gifts? And again, go take the Sage Diagnostic if you're not sure what they are. I promise you it's different than any other spiritual gifts training you've taken before. Okay. Go look at that. Find out what your primary gift is, the one that just lights you up inside. Get inside of the academy and watch our Grow in Your Gifts masterclass, watch our Roots of Business masterclass. Just get in there and really start to dive into and better understand how God's calling you to operate in your business as a human, like how he designed you to show up to share and to exemplify his good news. And as always, I am here for y'all. Okay. If you want to shoot us an email at hello at regulatedroots.com and be and share what's going on. Again, we don't just have the academy side of our business where we're doing these trainings for under 99 a month. We also have our agency side. So if you're feeling really called to get more personalized or intensive support in creating more regulation in your business, creating better offers and packaging and pricing and really ensuring that's structured in a profitable way. I would love to do a package matrix analysis with you. I would love to bring those tools in and show you how you can shift your offers. If it's operational support, we are so happy to look at that from a strategic high level with you and help you figure out what your roadmap is and what needs to shift for you to have the business that God has really called you to have. The same thing goes for team and for scaling and sustaining. Like those areas require high-level strategy and they require maturity. They require the ability to be regulated. And so if you're still working toward that and you could use some external support that you feel like is really aligned, we are here. Okay. I can't wait for you to start listening to our episodes next week. I think you're gonna absolutely love them. And like I said, everything I've talked about today, the books I've talked about, the stage diagnostic, the regulated Roots Academy, our YouTube and our TikTok channels, like all of that, I will link down in the show notes to make sure that you can connect with us wherever and however you'd like. And again, if you want to have a more personalized conversation, please just shoot us an email and say, hey, I'd love to get on your calendar and we will connect with you there. I love you all. I'm praying for you all. And I hope that God shows you a little bit more this week how you can go share the good news in the way that He has designed you to do.
