Hello, hello, hello, and welcome back to Wild Already where we are on the path to discovering our wildest self and I'm here to help you discover your highest potential. I hope you enjoy today's episode. The state that you're starting an action from is the state that determines the outcome. Now what do I mean by that? I mean whatever state you have by doing the thing, it is very important for the thing that you're doing. The action could be the same, but what goes on behind the action in your mind is very important. Let's just say you are going to eat something. Let's say it's McDonald's, okay? You are going to eat something at McDonald's. The action behind it could be why are you eating it? Are you eating it because you feel hungry? Are you eating it because you feel bored? Are you eating it because you have found $10 on the ground and you're like, I'm gonna spend it right now? Whatever it may be, it determines the other side of what's going to happen. If you go to McDonald's and you're like, I can only get a salad because I haven't been good today, or if you get a salad because I want to have more nutrients in my food, it's gonna be a very different state of mind that you take the action from. And you can apply that to every single action that you take. Let's, for example, take an action that you take every single day. Let's say waking up. Let's say you have to wake up early to start your day. You can do that action from a place of ugh I have to wake up early, I don't want to wake up early, I'm tired, I'm not excited for the day. And it's gonna start your day on a note of uh I don't wanna do it. If you wake up and say, I'm so productive, I wake up at um let's say five o'clock in the morning and I'm so productive and I'm such a go-getter that I wake up at that time to start my day in the best way possible. Amazing, then you're gonna wake up in a way more productive, way more happy state of mind, and let's be honest, the thing that we all want is to be more happy in our life on a day-to-day basis because you can have all the money in the world, all the friends in the world, all the family members, all the lovers in the world. But if you're not internally happy, it's gonna be pointless because you're gonna just chase the next big thing to make you happy. At the end of the day, we all just want to be happy and feel happy, and you can change that right now by taking the same actions that you do every day and just changing how you see them. And I think that's a lot of times what people don't see, they see that they have to do different actions, and there might be an action that's more aligned that will get you to your uh desired outcome faster. But if you're just now being like, I can't change anything in my life, I want you to start with I can change things in my life, I can start with an internal change, and that internal change will start to show externally. I can promise you that. But don't be like I can't change it because I have to do it. Like if you have to get up early to go to work and work your job, but you want to do something else in your life, you can start to see all the ways that you waking up early, you doing your job, and doing like I don't know, being in a factory worker, doing that is helping you achieve your bigger goal. You can see that, you can start to have the internal shift of oh, me doing this motion right now is teaching me something very important for the rest of my life. And if you start looking at life as everything is improving for me, everything is getting me to the place that I want to be, even if things are from the externally not looking like they're so great because let's just say you have to wake up early and have to go to your job, but you want to be an entrepreneur, and but at the same time, you're learning tenaciousness, you're learning to show up on time, you're learning to show up for yourself, you're creating a better life for yourself because you have a steady income, and you can use that to invest in yourself to become that great entrepreneur that you want to be. So the internal mindset that you have for taking an action is so important. Let's just say body image stuff. Very big topic. You are going once again, you're going to McDonald's and you're ordering a meal, a happy meal, whatever. And you go there with I actually wasn't good, but I'm really hungry, so I'm gonna get that and I'm gonna feel horrible about myself, yada yada yada. That's not if you have that, fine, acknowledge it and be like, okay, how can I improve it? Don't beat yourself up for the thoughts that you have, but be like, okay, I see that, and I have that thought because, and then you play the why game. Why do I have that thought? Go why, why, why with yourself until you come to a conclusion that you're like, oh, that's why. And if we know something on a deeper level, it's already gonna affect us less if we don't want it to. Okay, so you're gonna be like, okay, I'm gonna go to McDonald's, I'm gonna get that meal, and then you find the things that you don't like, that you like, and you're gonna come to a conclusion that's like, okay, I go to that meal, it's fast, it's affordable, it's gonna nourish my body to a certain extent, like it might be not be the most nourishing thing, but it's gonna give me some energy to keep on with my day. And then you can find the positive thing about it, and then you're not going to be so mean to yourself about that. Because if you're doing it anyway, why also be mean to you? I'm not saying the things that you do should never change, should never improve, I'm not saying that, but if you do them a certain way right now and you're not happy with them, why are you beating yourself up on top of that? That's just making it ten times worse. Because if you do an action that you perceive as not so helpful, not so great for whatever reason, and then you're beating yourself up, then it's gonna be ten times worse. But if you're like, you know what, that's the extent that I can go, and for today, I'm gonna try next time, I'm gonna um see how it feels to do it this way and next time whatever it is that you can say to yourself in a moment that you're like, okay, you know, it's fine, and then you're gonna need way less mental energy because beating yourself up is like a full-time job, and then you can have more energy, like internally, to do things differently the next time. And it's fine to go to McDonald's every now and then, it's fine to sleep in every now and then, it's fine to skip a workout every now and then, but if you skip a workout from a place of oh, I'm such a lazy ass, I deserve to um do a double tomorrow, or you can do it from a place of you know what, I'm feeling like my body needs to rest today, and I'm gonna honor my body and I'm gonna rest today, and I'm gonna do such a good job tomorrow because my body is rested and has recovered to its fullest potential. Amazing! Who would who would say that? Professional athletes have scheduled rest days, they have that. They say no work on this day, no physical work on this day, and it's amazing, and we should all strive to go to the best potential, and how we do that, in my opinion, is looking to the best and seeing how we can implement those things into our lives. So now I want you to take an action that you hate when you do it. I want you to take something, like not the biggest thing maybe, but take something that you actually hate. That's like a pet peeve of yours that you do and you just can't stop. And I want you to go, okay, but how is it helping me? How is it improving me? And how is it good that I'm doing those things? How is it that me doing that is actually also a good thing for me because it's helping me? Because you wouldn't do anything that is just negative or just positive, it's always both. So let's say I go to McDonald's every day after work. Okay, got it. Um, after work I'm hungry, so I need something to keep me over until dinner time. Okay, that's good. And from that place, from that place of going, okay, it's actually kind of good. We can go, how can I improve it? Okay, I could go to a different spot and get something different, maybe something more nourishing. I could uh plan ahead and make a little snack for me to eat, like after la after I'm finished with work. You can improve starting from that, but don't improve starting from hating where you are. Starting from hating where you are is just gonna um extend the hate more. Because change from a place of hating yourself, hating where you are, is never sustainable. Because the hate is just not the right way to go about it. The right way to go about change is I'm okay where I'm right now, I see where I got it, I see what's getting me this, and I want to improve, and I'm gonna improve step by step from a place of loving myself, and that's why I improve. That's the difference between change from a place of I need to change, and then you kind of hate the process or change, or from a place of you love the process and you love yourself. Because let's also be honest, the goal is also the way to get there because we always have the goal in mind, but getting there is also important because getting there is like 99% of the time that we spend on it, and how to how you got there is how you're gonna sustain it. So getting there is something that needs to be good for you, that needs to be enlightening for you, that needs to be nice for you, that you need to do for the rest of your life. If it's something, if you get something and you could say, I'm never gonna do that again, most likely you're not gonna sustain it the way you wanted to. So always pick a way to improve that you could do for the rest of your life and and kind of love. There are parts that we all don't like, and that's fine, we are human, but a way that you're like, I'm actually really good with this. I hope you enjoyed today's episode, and if there's anything more I can do for you, reach out to me. Everything you need is in the description box, and I hope you have an amazing rest of your day.
