Let's talk about something most high achieving spiritual entrepreneurs experience. Income inconsistency. You know the strategy. You are showing up consistently. You even have proof that what you are offering, what you are doing is working, and yet your income still moves in waves. A big month followed by a quiet one. Momentum followed by the need to reset. And eventually you start wondering, why does it feel like I'm always starting over? Why am I starting at zero every month and building back up? Whether you do one-on-one group coaching, MLM, self-paced programs, whatever your structure is, whatever your business model is, the truth is very rarely is it a strategy problem. And today we're going to unpack exactly what is going on. This isn't another strategy podcast. This is the energetic edge, where women stop chasing results and start embodying the frequency that creates them. I'm Melissa Goodman, mentor, energetic recalibrator, and the woman behind a new era of leadership, where power is feminine, wealth is regulated, and your business expands at the speed of your nervous system. Here, we go beyond the mindset hacks and surface level strategy. We rewire the body. We build businesses from overflow, not adrenaline. And we lead like the priestess CEOs we came here to be. Grounded, magnetic, and unapologetically in our power. If you are ready to collapse timelines, amplify your magnetism, and make wealth your new normal, you are in the right place. This is your edge. Let's activate it. Let's just dive right into this conversation. So strategy creates opportunity. But what strategy does not create is stability. Stability comes from your ability to hold what you create. Think of strategy kind of like a cookbook. Even if you are not crafty in the kitchen, you are not a chef, you can still make incredible food by following somebody else's strategy, by following their recipe, right? And it's simple. You take one egg with a half a cup of flour, with a dash of salt, and then whatever other ingredients, and if you follow the strategy, if you follow the steps, you know the end result is going to be this like big beautiful cake, let's say, for example. So with business strategy, it's the exact same, right? A coach will give you if you do this plus this plus this, your end result will be$10,000 months. Again, for example. And so the strategy is really giving you the step-by-step structure in order to create the desired result that you want to create the same way that you would follow a recipe in the kitchen. The difference, your nervous system determines whether you follow that strategy and you get the results, or whether somewhere along the way, and I don't necessarily like the term sabotage, but we'll use that term. So somewhere along the way, you unconsciously sabotage yourself. The reason I don't like sabotage is nobody ever consciously sabotages themselves, right? It's a defense mechanism, it's a safety mechanism, it's not a bad thing. It's your body trying to keep, or your mind rather, trying to keep you safe. But this is why so many entrepreneurs experience the cycle where you implement a strategy, you follow the steps, you mix A with B and C, and you should get the end result. And yes, quite often you will see results when you follow the strategy. Things expand quickly. And then all of a sudden, your energy shifts, you start to feel overwhelmed, you start to procrastinate. Maybe you start overworking where you're like, oh, now I need to add in a bonus call. I need to add in a special discount. I need to do this for them. Or on the other side, you might pull back and be like, holy shit, how am I going to stabilize this? How am I going to serve these 10 women who just walked into my offer? Can I do this? And then self-doubt starts to come in. And the growth that you just created by following that recipe, by following the strategies, all of a sudden comes to a grinding stop because your nervous system doesn't feel safe. It's not that the strategy stopped working. You have proof that the strategy works. But it was your internal system that didn't integrate the expansion. And so you're running at the old version of yourself as opposed to upgrading and stabilizing that expansion so that it's not something now where it's this big scary thing. It actually becomes your floor. It becomes the stability, the foundation of what you stand on. Your identity, your capacity, and your nervous system regulation determines whether your success stabilizes or shrinks. Your nervous system is constantly scanning for safety. Whether you're aware of this or not, your nervous system is looking for that. Not just physical safety, like, you know, is like a tiger gonna come get me or somebody hiding in my closet or that kind of thing. But emotional and energetic safety. When your business starts growing, your system will start to seek those deeper questions. Is it safe to receive this much money? Is it safe to be more visible? Is it safe to hold this level of responsibility? Is it safe to outgrow the identity that I've had up to this point? There are so many questions running in the background. Again, whether you're consciously aware of it or not, but when we start to expand because we're searching for that safety, that's when we have these questions coming up. And maybe your questions might not be the exact questions that I just posed here, but it's gonna be a version of those questions. If the answer to your question is uncertain, even subconsciously, your system will regulate back towards familiar territory because it knows what you did yesterday actually worked. And so your system wants to keep you in basically yesterday's blueprint, because that blueprint is your survival guide, so to speak, because you survived yesterday. So if you repeat exactly what you did today, what you did yesterday, well then your mind is like, well, then we're guaranteed survival for another day. And this is where most women will end up misinterpreting what is happening. They start to label this frequency instead of it being the fact they haven't stabilized safety within their system, they start to label these frequencies that they're feeling maybe as being lazy, as being undisciplined, as being inconsistent. Maybe labeling it as, oh, this isn't working anymore. I need a new strategy. So labeling it as that it's not working, I need something different. But what's actually happening is your system is trying to regulate itself. Your system is trying to return to what feels quote unquote normal for you. Because again, that equals safety in your system. So we need to access and stabilize safety as your baseline, even as you expand. I call the expansion quite often the expansion threshold. When somebody expands and they're like, oh my God, this is amazing. The money's coming in, the clients are coming in, things are starting to flow, and then they reach that expansion threshold, and their nervous system goes, no, hell no, this is not safe. And everything starts to slow down. And everybody goes through this. It is normal. There is nothing wrong with you for experiencing an expansion threshold. It's actually a beautiful thing, in a way, when we experience it, because it means that we are outgrowing that old identity. Right now, your nervous system has a level of success that feels normal, that feels safe. And anything beyond that level, yeah, we can be like, holy shit, that would be so exciting once I hit 5k months, 10k months, 20k months. Like, yeah, I want that, I want that. But at the same time, it can also be destabilizing within your system because you haven't expanded into that as your new normal level of success. And so quite often, expansion ends up looking like you invest, you follow the recipe, you mix this with this and this, you grow, you get more money coming in, more client signing, whatever it is, you know, of your goals. Those are generally the main ones, right? I want more clients, I want more money coming in, I want to have a greater impact. Those things start to happen. And then all of a sudden you contract because you haven't stabilized that expansion. And then you go through the cycle again. You stretch, you grow, you contract. And then you go through it again until your system learns how to stabilize the new level. So that as you expand, instead of it feeling like you're taking two steps forward and three steps back, it starts to be two steps forward and maybe one step back, two steps forward and a half a step back, two steps forward, and then you fully stabilize, and you're like, holy shit, this is actually amazing. This is so much easier than what I thought. But what most business conversations focus on is how to get more clients, how to scale, how to set up your funnel, how to position your SEO, how to increase your revenue. But very few people actually teach about how to normalize expansion once it arrives. And this is the biggest piece that I have seen missing in the high-achieving women that I work with. They already have the strategy, they know what to do, they are consistent in what they do, and yet they haven't been able to stabilize and normalize the expansion once it arrives. That's where the nervous system work becomes the real strategy. And maybe you've heard it before about the 80-20 rule, where 80% of your success is actually your inner reality, your operating system. 20% is the strategy. And yet, so many people place more of an emphasis on the strategy than they do on the inner regulation and the inner expansion. So, what does this actually look like then in your nervous system? How does this actually show up in your reality? So, a few patterns. Now, this isn't an exhausted list, okay? There are several other ways that this can show up, but just to give you an idea as to patterns to look for. Becoming the observer of yourself. When revenue spikes and it's followed by a really slow month. When you start to feel pressure or anxiety because things are actually going well. And I know a lot of people don't want to talk about that, right? They want to pretend like, oh, things are going well. I'm going to focus on this, rah-rah, rah. Where underneath it all, they feel that anxiety of, oh my God, what if this stops? What if next month I'm starting at zero? What if this comes up, right? And so it's almost like we try to ignore that and push forward with this, just think positive. That's, you know, thinking positive, it has its place, but it's not going to override your nervous system. Uh, other things to look for is overworking during a growth phase. So you have clients coming in. It's like you're inconsistent, you not inconsistency. You are flowing consistently. There we go. That's a better way of wording it. And all of a sudden you feel the need to overwork. Oh, I need to produce more content. I need to show up like this. And all of a sudden your schedule is jam-packed and then you're burnt out and you're like, oh my God, I'm miserable. I fucking hate this. Um, hesitating to increase visibility, right? You're like, oh, well, things are going well. Maybe I don't want to do it that other post. Maybe I don't want to be showing up on somebody else's podcast because, like, I'll have more people come in. I don't know. So I'm just gonna kind of lay low. Or maybe you're hesitant to increase your pricing because you think that that's gonna push people away. Or feeling like you are constantly having to recreate momentum from scratch. This is a really big one that I see, especially with spiritual women. And I get it, I'm a manifesting generator. I have a million and one ideas at any given point where I'm like, oh my God, maybe I should do this. Oh, this sounds fun. Oh, what if I start to incorporate this? So I get it, right? But when we allow ourselves to get sidetracked, we're trying to recreate something else as opposed to working with what is working. Now that's not to say to never create something new, but knowing that balance of like, is this a distraction because things are going really well? Now I think I need to expand and do all these other things, or is it genuinely because my soul is telling me it's time to, you know, bring forward this next offer? None of these things, and like I said, this is not an extensive list, but these are very familiar patterns that show up with the women that I work with. None of these things mean that you are doing anything wrong. You're not doing it wrong. It simply means that your system is still trying to calibrate to the expansion. It's kind of like this is just coming through, so I'm gonna roll with it. But it's kind of like if you eat something that you know your digestive system doesn't really like, but your taste buds really like it. You know what I mean? Where you're like maybe eating that piece of pizza and you're like, oh my god, my taste buds love this. And then after you eat it, you're like, oh, I shouldn't have eaten that. And I knew I shouldn't have eaten that because now I feel like crap, right? And so then your body has to go through a recalibration. There's steps that your body's gonna do to rebalance, right? To get rid of that heavy feeling, that bloating, all of that, right? It's extra work on your system. It's kind of the same thing when you are expanding. It's like you start to expand and then your system's like, holy crap, hang on, I need a second. And your system just needs that second to recalibrate how it's vibing. I don't know if that's coming through as clearly as what I'm being showing within my mind's eye, but we're just we're gonna roll with that. If you've been hanging out with me on my podcast for a while, you know we go down these side tangents. I just trust when spirit is guiding and offering these different insights, I trust it is for you listening, maybe not you specifically, but somebody else who is listening where they're gonna be like, oh, that totally makes sense. Okay, so let me take a breath and then we'll get back on track. Take a breath with me. Okay, so we've talked about like what to look for. We've talked about the expansion threshold. So, how do you actually stabilize growth? And the solution is not to abandon strategy and be like, fuck this, I'm just gonna do the 80% inner work and never focus on the 20% action steps that are going to also yield results. The solution is to increase your capacity to hold the results that your strategy is creating for you. This means teaching your nervous system that growth is safe, that visibility is safe, that it's safe to receive more money. And I know people love that affirmation, right? It's safe to receive money, I'm receiving more money. But there's actual steps of like rewiring your nervous system, not just saying something and hoping that maybe one day it will feel safe. Another one that leading at a higher level is safe, or having more money or having more clients equals more responsibility, and it's safe for you to have that responsibility. This doesn't happen through mindset alone. It happens through regulation and through identity recalibration. Over time, your system begins to recognize expansion as normal rather than as a threat, where it's a looking out for that, like what's coming to get me. And when that happens, something very powerful shifts because growth stops feeling like something that you have to push for, strive for, hustle towards. It becomes something that your system naturally sustains. When your nervous system is calibrated for expansion, several things will change for you. You stop reacting to growth, you start leading yourself through it. Your decisions become clearer, faster, more aligned. Your leadership becomes steady, embodied. Your standards for yourself, for your programs, for your clients, for your relationships, like literally your standards across everything. Let's just sum it up like that. Your standards are higher. Your visibility becomes natural. It's not something where you have to like force yourself to show up and you know do this like trending stuff. It's you trust yourself to show up as you. You don't need to follow the trends. And your income stops having these extreme swings. Instead of chasing momentum, you literally become your own momentum because you are so stable. Your foundation is set. You know when you are going up that next step that it's not just gonna collapse and cave and you're gonna fall into the basement. It's like that step is stable. And so you can move from the first step onto the second, and you know you're safe there. And then you can take that next step up to the third step. And again, you know that step, that staircase is stable. You have created the most beautiful staircase that you can walk upstairs and you don't need to worry about, am I gonna go through the stairs? Because you're not. That's what stability feels like. And this is exactly why I created the nervous system wealth stabilizer. Because what most entrepreneurs need isn't more strategy. You already have the strategy. Most high-achieving spiritual entrepreneurs need to allow their system to catch up to the level that they are calling in, that they are manifesting, that they are moving towards. Inside the program, we recalibrate the subconscious patterns and the nervous system responses that quietly cap income and have you in these extreme swings, and maybe they're not even extreme swings, right? But those little swings as well. So that growth becomes sustainable without burnout, without pressure, without the collapse cycle. And you can take a nice deep breath with that. If your income has ever felt like a cycle of breakthroughs, followed by resets, followed by maybe I should incorporate this instead. Maybe I need to pivot my business. Maybe I should be off, you know, working with this niche or doing this offer. Oh, you're not broken. You're not broken. You are expanding. And your system simply needs the tools to stabilize at the level that you are stepping into, going up that staircase. And once you have stabilized, business starts to feel very, very different. It's calmer, it's cleaner, it's more consistent, it's more in flow as opposed to chasing or trying to create things and force things to happen. Because we all know that force doesn't feel good and it actually pushes things away. Your nervous system gets to exhale because you create safety that is sustainable. And doesn't that feel amazing? I'm gonna drop the link in the show notes for the nervous system wealth stabilizer. So I'll actually drop in the wait list so you can hop onto the wait list and know when that program reopens. Oh, all right, beautiful. Thank you so much for hanging out with me today. I truly appreciate you being here. I would love to hear from you. Let me try that one again. I would love to hear from you.
