You've tried forcing yourself into 10 minutes of meditation and then when life happens you slip into being a raging bitch the rest of the day and you're wondering why your inner work isn't working.

What if stillness isn't something you sit down and find, but something you walk into?

In this episode we're exploring why movement is the doorway to the inner work, not the distraction from it. How motion generates energy, energy generates clarity, and for the woman who has so much on the go, this is how you stop compartmentalizing your spirituality and start embodying it all day.

This is about stepping into the identity of the woman who holds it all the time. Not just for 10 minutes.

You are not lazy about the inner work. Chances are you have tried to do all of the things. You have tried so hard to follow the structures that other people have offered as to how to move into stillness, how to do inner work, how to journal, how to meditate, all of that. You've tried, but yet every time you sit down to just have a moment of stillness, your mind starts to race. Your to-do list gets even louder and probably longer. And you start to have this subtle undertone of shit, I'm failing at this. I'm really not good at the stillness. And then probably you even go into stories as to, well, I know I should be doing stillness, so I'm gonna sit here and try to force myself into stillness because that is how I evolve. That's the inner work. And so you try to push through. And as you're pushing through, the reality is you become more disconnected with your body because you're trying to force something as opposed to surrender into it. I'm here to offer a new way in. I invite you to think about this for a moment. How many good ideas have come through for you when you're trying to force stillness, when you're trying to force a meditation? Or how many good ideas have come through for you when you're just sitting on the couch or scrolling mindlessly on social media? Good ideas generally drop in in the most quote unquote like random times. When you're in the shower, because there's movement, you're doing something. When you're out on a walk, all of a sudden you're like, ooh, that's such a good idea. Okay, I want to make a note of that. Or even when you're driving. Okay, yes, we can argue this one because physically your body might not actually be in a lot of motion, but you're still in motion because you are in a car and you're moving, right? So there's still that energy of motion around you and you are in the car for that ride, right? There's a reason that good ideas come through in these moments, and that's because motion creates energy. Or maybe you've heard the saying before, energy creates energy. And when we have that motion, when we have that energy flowing through us instead of being stagnant, that's when clarity comes through. That's when really good ideas will randomly pop into your mind. The reality is, yes, there is space for the stillness and sitting down and meditating and journaling. But that's not the only pathway to inner work. The body also needs movement in order to open. There's actual actual portals within our physical body, within our energetic body that need motion in order for those portals to fully expand so you can receive. Now, if you're sitting there and you're nodding along and you're like, okay, this is actually making sense. This is pretty cool. I've created something for you for you to go through so that you can see certain patterns and how they're playing out within your system so that you can start to transform them, okay? It's a free PDF for you. It's called You Are Not Stuck. I'm gonna drop it into the show notes. It is there for you when you are ready to grab it. So I used to teach yoga, you may or may not know that. And I'm not here to say, like, oh, yoga is the way, you need to do yoga, okay? Yoga is an avenue where it's actually creating stillness within our body where at the same time we're in motion. It's creating that mind-body connection. It's not asking you to sit there and force yourself into doing something, it's asking you to listen to your body, to build a relationship with your body and allow it to move, allow it to expand. Now, yoga isn't the only way. Maybe you enjoy strength training. That's actually a way where you can turn it into more of a stillness practice. Or the simplest way that is accessible to you every single day at any time of the day, really, is walking and just going for a walking meditation. There was a time when I'd try to force stillness throughout the day. And I was like, okay, I need to sit down, I need to meditate. This is part of the inner work. If I'm not doing this, like I'm such an imposter. And so I try to force it. And some days it's like I could drop into stillness, other days my mind was racing. And there was one day in particular when my mind was just racing nonstop. And I was thinking to myself, like, oh my god, I just I have so much energy, I can't be laying here, and that's why my mind is going. And so I decided to get up and go outside and go for a walk. And as I was walking, I actually felt the energy start to shift, and this wave of stillness washed over me. The wave of stillness that I was trying to force when I was laying there trying to meditate. And instead, through moving my body, all of a sudden I was like, oh, this feels so much better. And so I started to incorporate this practice on a more regular basis, and an interesting thing happened, and that is there was a certain manifestation that I was working towards at the time. And if I was in stillness, sitting on the couch, trying to, you know, bring forward the manifesting energies, I could tap into what I was calling in. I could feel the feeling. And then when I would come out of that stillness and go back into my daily life, all of a sudden it's like the feeling would just vanish. And it I wouldn't remember the feeling until the next time I'd go sit down to tap back into it, right? And maybe you've experienced this before where it's like, okay, in the moment when you're still, you can feel the feeling. And the second life starts to happen, all of a sudden you're triggered, and maybe now you're in a bad mood, you're grumpy, like whatever's happening, life is happening, and that feeling slips away. And so what I started to do is I started to turn my manifestations into walking manifestations. And I noticed that because my body was in motion while I was in that feeling, the feeling expanded throughout my body at such a rapid pace that, first of all, I didn't need as much time because I could just like tap into it. And second, it was actually imprinting itself deeper within my nervous system because my body was in motion. So I was able to anchor it into my system. So that feeling stayed with me well beyond the walking manifestation. And as life happened, I could feel that feeling still percolating under the surface. And it actually allowed me to manifest so much faster. And this is like a little manifestation hack. If you want to take it, you are welcome to because it will help you get there. But of course, we need to know the patterns that are running underneath this and remove the patterns, and that's where that free PDF comes in for you. But this is really about giving yourself permission to understand that stillness can be found in motion. It's not about bypassing and trying to skip the inner work because you think you suck at doing it. You don't. You just need a different doorway into it. And I know that you already have so much on the go. And so trying to force a practice that goes against the very reality that you are currently living in doesn't work. And so instead of trying to force something, it's looking at how can I make this work for me in the energy that I'm in, right? Some days, yes, are all about walking meditations, movement meditations for me. Other days, fucking right. I'm laying down my yoga mat and I am just going into a deep meditation that way. There's no right or wrong way. It's about knowing yourself enough to understand what is the portal that I need today. So that you're not trying to separate, like, oh, I'm gonna go be spiritual for 10 minutes and then I'm gonna go be a raging bitch for the rest of the day. Like, no, right? It's not that separation. You actually get to step into the identity of the woman that you desire to be and you get to embody her at all levels at all times. It's not one or the other. So this is really your permission slip. You don't need an app, okay? You don't need to know the perfect to-do list of how am I going to make this the most? No. You just need to go and move, breathe, notice what comes through for you, feel your body, feel the expansion, feel the release. It actually gets to be so much simpler than what a lot of people on social media create it to be. Oh, just take a nice deep breath with that one. And if you're sitting here and you're listening to this and you're like, oh my goodness, this is incredible. I want to go deeper. I want to actually experience shifts within my body. I created the calibration reset. It is an audio for you to listen to, and I'm actually adding in a walking meditation alongside the audio as well. So there's two access points: one for when you're craving stillness and just laying there, and one for when your body needs that motion, needs to create more energy and shift. So I'll drop the link for the calibration reset into the show notes as well for you. All right, beautiful. That is all for today. Go ahead, go out on a walk, go to the gym, whatever it is for you. Maybe it's yoga, maybe it's Pilates, just get your body in motion. Allow that energy to move through you so that you can start to anchor in that next level identity that you're calling in.
