Recap Of The Street Battle

Okay, great. I think everybody beats the natural one. Andrew, you wanna give it a go?

Alright, yeah, it's gonna be a three-peat tonight. Uh so we uh after gaining a level or going up a level, we exited the builders hideout. Are you sure about that? Positive. Okay. Uh exited to the uh city where we heard some buildings crashing and some fighting in the distance. We went to investigate that uh thinking that there were citizens to save, and found a frost giant, two giant spiders, and six were guards uh all fighting. There was a building that had collapsed on a man and a woman, and there was a child just kind of standing by itself uh crying, uh, watching the melee landfall. Uh the party decided to act, um, probably in a way that Brandon didn't expect. So Elvar went to go help the giant by uh running up and attacking the Wareguard captain. Um Zane went to go comfort the child by summoning a rather large sword and smiling with his uh half-orc tusks at the child. And uh Nelvax went to go um, I think he first started beating on a guard and uh then maybe fought a spider uh with that. And then Harlach decided to disguise himself as a small child and ran up and uh eventually levitated some of the building rubble that was on top of the people to try and save them. Uh after a lot of missed attacks, um a lot of back and forth between the wear guards and the monsters, and the party just kind of being in the middle, uh we eventually uh got one of the people safe, uh as well as the child. Um Zane casts suggestion on the frost giant to have it kind of help us, and then Nelvax promptly then attacked it and broke that, but then uh uh Voss cast Hypnotic Pattern to just kind of stop everything as it was happening. Uh the party then left and on the way home encountered a traveling merchant by the name of Twill that was a cobald uh with a sack that seemed to be an extra-dimensional space. Uh we asked for a couple items. I think uh Nelvax bought a replacement lantern for Harlick. Uh he also bought himself a tentacle dildo sword. Uh Voss asked for uh Twill to get in contact with Eldvar asked for Twill to put a good word in with uh Voss's mother, and Zayn asked for anything that scared Twill. Um, and maybe something else. Uh I forget exactly what. Uh we ended that uh social encounter with Harleck getting a totally not cursed opal or no uh Onyx. And then uh headed back to our mansion where we had a little bit of RP between the characters. So Harleck asked Zayn to help him identify information about the cursed uh or not cursed um Onyx crystal, uh, which I think the Arcana check was like really, really low, so nothing to be had there. Uh Elvar asked Nelvax to help him uh animate the model of George by stuffing the of LeBron or Leron into it. Uh and after a rather successful strength check, uh George was shattered into four pieces, uh which Eldvar is now carrying around in a basket. And then also uh Eldvar offered some armor to Voss uh because he attuned to the Lux Eater armor, uh which is really awesome armor for um Eldvar. And then I think we took a long rest and oh yeah, uh during that long rest, while Voss was in his trance, uh he got in touch with his patron, uh, which some people think clerics have gods, but Voss is his patron. And uh changed his domain from Tempest or sorry, from trickery domain to Tempest Domain. And so he is now going to wow us with all his lightning prowess. A rhyme. Good job.

Uh that while we were gone, uh Bastion was more militarized than when we left. Seems that Lorne Sigmander has settled in with his troops and they are making themselves at home or making our home their home.

Oh yeah, we have we have two catapults now.

Oh yeah. And uh we were at the end of it, Zayn had a question for the group that never got answered. Um, are we the bad guys?

Um goes without saying the answer to that question.

Yeah. Yeah, I think that's uh statistically speaking, we killed more guards than we killed monsters.

But the guards have attacked us in the past. The monsters had not previously attacked us.

Technically speaking, the guards are monsters? Um technically. And uh oh, Steinmonder messaged or mentioned that uh we t when we told him about the creations from the builder, that he said there should have been a lot more of them, or something of that nature.

He said that um Nader Tyke was supposed to stop with that. Because he thought initially that we saw one of them, and then we're like, no, we saw a whole bunch. And he said there were more.

Oh, and he appears much older and tired than he did when we left. We were gone for like five hours and he aged ten years while we were gone, which is saying something for a dwarf.

Yeah. Well, he's had to give up his uh his his comfy house with the showers and everything like that. Now he's he's uh roughing it in your mansion. At our comfy house with the showers and everything.

Just a lot in his life. I'm gonna point out that we have electricity.

Uh I mean nobody pigs showers is like one of their rooms, so we don't actually No, we have a spa.

You do have a ghostler. We do have a ghostly spa. That's what I'm saying. Wipes you down with baby wipes every day. Spa treat. Alright.

New Powers And Morning Routines

So right, a everything you said. So, Eldvar, as you are getting up in the morning and you're going to strap on your your brand new armor, um, you you put it on your skin, and the metal's cold when you first lift it. It's not like it's not cold like steel, but it's cold like it's never actually touched the sunlight. Um, and as you tighten the first straps around your body, a tremor runs up your arm, and the plates don't sit on your body. It feels like you almost have a second skin attached to you. Um, like it was made specifically for you. It is the best fitting armor you have ever worn. Uh and as you fasten that final buckle, uh, the world around you dims just a little bit. Um, it doesn't go dark, but it just dims a little bit. And it's as if the armor is drinking the light around your body. I am shadow. I am shadow. And uh Harleck, I need you to roll me a D20.

Okay. Alright, so uh thirteen. Okay. So yeah, Harleck, this this this Onyx stone, it's you're drawn to it, and you need you need to hold it pretty much at all times. You feel empty when you're not touching it. But the the longer you hold the stone, the heavier it seems to be. And uh the glossy black surface seems to not it doesn't reflect anything. Like it doesn't it doesn't show you anything around the room, it doesn't reflect the light. Um but as long as you're touching it, the stone seems to pulse just a little bit. Not like magic or heat, but more like a heartbeat. And you feel this strong pull towards the stone, uh so much so that the first saving throw that you have to throw this this today has this advantage.

Uh-oh. Awesome.

Alright. So, you guys are all up. Uh, what are you doing in the morning? Uh how what what is your normal root uh daily, your morning routine? Uh boss, how are you coming down after that that long night with uh your your uh patron, kinda your new patron, kind of giving you gifting you all these powers. What do the other players see where you're gonna be? Long night.

Uh I think Voss is just kind of he's he's feeling like his fingers and he can feel the lightning like the tingly. Um he's probably just gonna spend some time in his workshop just contemplating, trying a few new things. He he's got some new spells that he wants to play around with, and just uh he he's gonna take some time to prepare a spell or two. I know that's like a new thing that Clerics have started doing in the most recent rule set. Um he's probably gonna do that. Take some time to prepare his spells.

And he'll just be hanging out in his workshop.

Uh he'll go through his like normal more uh stretches. So is this like more of a whip or still kind of a short story?

Like uh it's it No matter how the fuck I say this, you guys are gonna make fun of it. So it's a little stiff at first. Uh but the more you wave it around, it loosens up a little bit and it seems to like almost grab things as you as you uh as you move it towards objects. So uh one time during one of your swings you moved a little too close to uh the table in your room, and one of the uh the tentacle on it seemed to latch on and it pulled the table about an inch towards you.

So is it grabbing like Indiana Jones wrapping around it and grabbing it, or is it cupping?

SPEAKER_01

No, it's it's the actual cupping on it and you're pulling it. Yeah, a nice cupping action.

Uh and so the uh I'm just trying to get a visual for this thing. Is it still like a book cups on like the flats of the sword?

SPEAKER_01

Or is it like No, this is a tentacle, but the cups on it have these barbs that seem to dig in and cut as it touches things.

Got like little claws and all stuff, and that's where the slashing is coming from. Yeah, so he's gonna spend some time in my just getting a he's gonna keep carrying his Sylvan Cemitar, but he's and he's gonna go get some breakfast.

What's Harleck doing?

Farlek is probably probably fascinated with his little stone now. Rubbing it and whatnot. Um No, but he's probably getting up trying not to be a bother to everyone in the bastion, like waiting for everyone to get up and uh start moving around, but is eagerly trying to find out what they're doing next. Probably just bouncing around from spot to spot until everyone's up. Maybe hit up the garden.

He's in there rubbing his stone, screaming, don't bother me while I'm cleaning my room.

I can clean it as fast as I want.

Careful, buddy, you might rub a hole in it. What about Zane?

Uh so Zayn will be getting up and he'll walk down into the kitchen area and and greet Mortain and ask him where the coffee is and get some coffee and head to his library to he'll he'll do some stretches, but for the most part he's not doing that. Um and then he'll get a vat of coffee and bring it up to his library and continue researching as much information as he can find out about the the castle and the um what you call it. But he'll have a conversation with the spectral or with uh Mortain while he's waiting for the coffee to be made, asking him anything interesting while they were gone.

Okay. And finally, Mr.

Eldvar. Yeah, so Elvar was just inconsolable at the loss of George. Um he cried himself to sleep the previous night, uh, and as he puts on his armor, he's like, it makes sense that it's just sucking out all the light because the loss of George has sucked out all the light in uh Eldar's life. And so he begins thumbing through his um leatherbound book of giant magic, and he finds a spot in it uh with a spell that he thinks might be able to help him resurrect George because to him George was always alive, and so he's gonna spend a good hour just staring at this spell, trying to figure out how to make it work, and he's gonna cast Find Familiar, and he is gonna summon George as a familiar. Okay. And so once he has uh summoned George as this familiar, he's gonna just hug it and he's gonna carry it down, and he's gonna eat himself a nice large breakfast of a dozen eggs, probably a side of bacon, um, you know, a gallon or two of milk, and he's gonna be like trying to force feed George at the same time, uh, making sure that he gets his nutrients so he can grow up big and strong, like the children that the builder had. Okay.

Uh so does Eldar realize that this is not actually George, it's a Faye creature?

Okay. I am looking forward to killing this thing multiple times. You've already killed it once. I know.

Twill Dragged In By Guards

So as you're all going about your normal daily routine, you uh you hear uh a little bit of a commotion outside. Um and the door the front door opens out to any of you that are in the uh the the main uh entrance to the bastion, and one of the guards comes in dragging a short cobalt behind him.

Um does it look like Twill be Twill?

It does look like Twill.

I imagine we would have all heard it and showed up. Yeah. Yeah.

Unless one of you is actively ignoring it.

Do we know this guard's name?

SPEAKER_01

Uh you've seen him around, but not you've never really stopped to talk to him.

I'll jump in, but I'm not charismatic.

So Zayn will walk down and and say, you know, it's it's okay. We we know this guy, we told him to come here.

Yeah, that's our friend.

Uh the guard looks at both of you and looks down at at at Twill, shakes his head, and just releases him. He says, Next time, use the front door. And he starts walking away.

Zane will sharply look at Twill. How did you try to come in? There's only one door. So had you gone upstairs into the second floor, you'd have been pretty pretty surprised. There's like literally nothing there. It is a void.

Oh, well. I wonder if there's anybody that needs any items on there.

SPEAKER_09

Nothing, including people, are there.

SPEAKER_01

There are other things besides people that need magic.

SPEAKER_09

It's a negative space.

SPEAKER_01

Oh man, positivity.

Oh man, let me tell you, I got so many things for y'all. Okay, so first off, uh, saw your mom. Uh okay, here's the thing, boss. I I found her. Um he looks around conspiratorially, making sure that nobody's listening, even though all of you are listening. There are three other guards in this room staring around. And uh he leans in a little bit while not lowering his voice, and he says, Okay, she's in the tower. She's not a prisoner, not not a not exactly. More like uh a highly monitored guest. Uh she's got a fancy bed, uh, guards who never blink, and a window that doesn't open. Uh she's safe, but she's not really free. Uh you could call her a prisoner and everything but name. Um she's she's fine. Like they're treating her well. She gets food, she's able to go out for strolls, but she's under constant guard.

Alright. Yeah, I mean, I I think we already knew she was pretty fine, but uh let's go here.

That reminds me. Uh she pulls a paper out of his pocket and looks at it real quick and then shoves it back in his pocket. And uh she sa she looks back at Voss and says, Listen, I don't I don't really know this. Uh she she told me to tell you I don't know who Eldvar is, but uh I I would appreciate if you kept your friends on a leash.

Yeah, I mean she can she can put me on a leash if that's what she wants.

And I don't think that's uh quite what she was uh she was intending. So he was actually able to get a message to her? Are you asking that? No, no, so sorry, you're you're implying that he he actually was able to talk to her even though she's in this cell?

He was able to get some kind of message to her, yes. Okay. She's not in a cell. She's not in a cell.

Yes. She is able to roam the grounds as long as she doesn't leave the grounds.

Okay. Is this the arcade the tower organization, or is this just the magic tower for the city?

This is the tower for the city. Is it also the organization?

Is it a tower? This is very confusing using the tower as both an organization name and a structure.

So my question is to for lore, is it the tower is the organization? That's what we call, that's what the name of the magic organiz the magic police organization that has since collapsed. The organization has fallen. Um, and then there's a tower, the mage tower for the city. Is that a you said that that's not part of the tower organization?

It is okay, all magic, but then. Is associated with the government is part of the tower.

The tower, the mage tower, and this is part of the organization, the tower.

Okay. Because that's where she's being held as a guest.

But even though it's even though the organization as a whole has fallen, I'm assuming then each organization, the overall organization has fallen, but each of the towers in their subsequent cities are probably still operating in some capacity. I'm guessing.

That is probably a safe assumption.

Alright. Is there anything you want to ask, Twill or Jorvin?

So you said that the guards don't blink? Is that literal literally or figuratively?

Well, I mean they're not uh meaning they you know they don't really look away.

Are they still all are all the guards still the were wolf variety? Yep, yeah, they all got big teeth, sharp claws. Who else is still in the castle?

I didn't see many other people other than the uh administrators, some wizards, uh the guards. Saw the princess a few times, well, now queen.

Are there any other prisoners other than Voss's mom?

SPEAKER_01

Listen, I went and got the information that I was paid to get. You want more information, you gotta pay me more.

Okay. Well, did you get anything else we asked for?

Prisoner Mom Intel And Tower Lore

SPEAKER_01

He pulls out his bag and starts laying some things out on the floor. And he says, as he's pulling these things out, he says, Oh, here's the thing. I have everything you guys have been asking for. I actually pulled it off. Money changed hands, favors were owed, promises were made, I'm in debt to at least two people who don't technically exist. And he starts ringing his hands together. But, you know, these kinds of things that come with a price. So uh monkey boy. You asked me for some bracers. I have three options for you. Who's monkey boy? The monk.

Oh, I didn't think you knew that they cut my tail off with a flying disc a couple years ago. That's a real surprise.

Alright, so I've got three items for you. Uh each of them, obviously, you don't have to buy them all, but uh I wanted to bring you some options because the only actual bracers that I found are these cool little things. And he pulls out uh two armbands. And uh it looks the bracers themselves look like they should have a spot to attach thin daggers to them. Um, but you don't see any daggers. And while holding them, he pulls one out, he pulls a dagger from the nothing and throws it into a wall, and it sticks and then it disappears. So called uh braces or flying daggers. Don't know if you really want it, it doesn't really help too much, but you can throw daggers and look really cool doing it. I've also got these things. Uh and he pulls out uh gloves with some claws on top that uh they're called insignia of claws. Uh they will um make your hits a little stronger, uh give you a better chance to hit. And finally, I've got these special bad boys from a friend of yours. Uh well, I don't think he's actually your friend, but wants to be your friend. Said sell them to me, so I can sell them to you if you wanted them. I said they're gonna help you get into places you shouldn't be in. So your three options, Justin, are the braces of flying daggers, insignia of claws, and the gloves of thievery. Um he has not given you gold prices yet, but those are your three items if you want to look at them while I'm going over everybody else's. Alright. Uh big tall bald dude. Fighter? Are you a fighter? I think you're a fighter. Okay. Uh you asked for a big sword. I found a sword.

Yeah, yeah, it's pretty it's pretty great. Okay. Yeah, he turns around and you can see him scribbling on something, and he turns the sword back around and it's in very rough black mark. It says great on the side of it.

It says, Yeah, it's a big thing. It's just it's not happening this morning. Okay.

He says, yeah, yeah, uh, uh that's a great sword. Um he found a great sword plus one. Okay. Uh alright. Uh Scary Fly Dude, I saw you. You asked for spellings. I've got some spellings for you. Depends on what kind of level spell, what level spell you really want to uh write in. Uh for the amount of ink, uh, it's 50 gold pieces for the first level.

No, they're both warlocks, but I'm talking specifically to Zane. Arlock doesn't fly. He's a bird. He doesn't fly. The warlock that's a bird doesn't fly.

Magic Item Catalog And Hard Bargains

So I've got some spell inks. It's gonna cost you a few gold pieces if you want it. Depends on how much ink you need. So we can talk about that. Uh ooh, you got some sparkies going on over there, big guy. Uh you said you wanted something with lightning. I've got two options for you. I've got these uh these little gloves that have some I don't know, they're shocky, they hurt me. And then I've also got this uh this this big old javelin. So he pulls out uh storm gauntlets and javelin of lightning. Voss. And finally, for you, my bird friend, uh really between the two of us, you're the only one that's been nice to me. And I was able to offload something that's been worrying me for a long time to you.

I found a couple things. You said you wanted uh something to help you disguise yourself a little bit. So I found two options for you. One, I found this cloak lets you change your appearance at any time. By appearance I mean clothing. It really only changes your clothing. It's uh basically like a like a quick slot thing. Uh and then I also found this hat that lets you change everything about you. So he pulls out the hat of disguise and cloak of many fashions.

Yeah, I'd probably go for the hat of disguise, even though I can do that now, but that is what I'm looking to get.

Okay. Uh so he says if you're looking at the hat, uh it's gonna be 450 gold pieces.

Ah, the great great sword, yes, yes, yes, yes. Um, okay, so uh it is well made. I know it's gonna be pricey, but it's gonna be 650 gold pieces.

So Zayn will look at the investigate the inks and see what does he know about that like what can I use them for?

Emporium Map Keys And A Grudge

time. I I do need to tell you a little bit of a background though. This this you're gonna need to take this map, and I I know exactly what the what Master Ranbert is, and I know what he did to my wife. He pulls a small locket out from his vest, and inside you can see uh a photo of a beautiful half-elven woman um with blue eyes, uh confident smile, and her hair tied back, and uh Recio's voice is barely holding it together as he continues, and he says, uh foolish. Foolish the way that love blinds even the clever ones. Uh my wife and I, Aranthia Avrathia, uh, we we met, we were thieves. Not the cruel kind, but the smart kind, the clever kind. Um the Emporium, it was the grand prize, a vault full of artifacts and horrors. We planned it for years. Uh Avrathea infiltrated the place as a student under the master uh under Master Randbird, and uh we thought he bought it. Act line, act, hook, line, and sinker. But uh this is what she's got. And he he reveals a map, and on the map itself it's got uh look it's got four X marks that have uh switch over top of it. There's two vault doors, and there are rooms labeled Sentinel Quarters, Lab, and Lecture Hall. And a scribbled warning that says do not touch the painted clock in capital letters, or in uppercase letters, like bold. Uh this is this is what she uncovered. Uh there are four switches to get into the vault. You've got to activate them, and then you've got about ten minutes to get into the vault door and turn both keys. Uh Avrathya mapped it all, and he hands you all the map. She planned uh she planned a waiting for me, but the day Rambert left the shop, she saw her chance, and she went in alone. As soon as she stepped into the inner vault, there was a teleportation circle, and she didn't know she stepped on it until it was too late. Uh his eyes lower and he his voice gets a little darker, and he says She found herself in an underground cavern beneath Cloud Peak, face to face with this massive crystal that stuffed out every spell she tried. Uh and someone was waiting for her. She said she saw Ranbird there, but the things he said, the way he spoke, it it it wasn't it wasn't him. I think that was the day that everything changed. She was able to get back through the circle. Uh she grabbed one thing on her way out, that that chest, and then she came here. Uh she she kissed me, gave me her notes, made me swear not to follow her, and then she disappeared and I never saw her again. But I know the truth, I know Randberg killed her. I can feel it in my bones. Now I hear he's got something in his chambers, something that looks like her. Something he's pieced together. I know we're here for the box and to get what's inside of it, but I want him, and I want him taken alive, and I needed to hear what he did. Normally a one-way trip, so you can't go back and forth between them. Uh, it is just a from here to there type of thing.

Magic Detectors And Street Tension

Uh you can see you can see some of the werewolf guards they're patrolling. Uh nobody's really paying attention. It looks like they're more there to keep the peace. So they're not really looking for anybody specifically. Uh you do see a few uh or sorry, you see one particular uh group of these were guards carrying a device that looks familiar to you all as the the magic detectors, but it doesn't seem to pick up on Eldvar's cloak.

Uh is there any are any of these guards recognizable to us as like transporting with? Leadership because we knew like of the of the guards that were assembled who transformed. It's like, do we recognize any of them as people that we need to be wary of?

After after we saw the I I was gonna specifically ask if we saw anyone with those magic detectors. Um but if uh if I do see if we do see them, I want to try to uh as indiscriminately as possible uh cast silent image of like a bird and try to see if the detect m if the detector is picking up where the illusion is and where I'm placing the magic, or if it's come if they're detecting where I am casting it.

Uh a talking bird, a uh monk that likes to hide in the shadows, a red bearded triangle top-shaped cleric in a dress, and a large Goliath in a pink dress um walk towards the lucky leap casually. Nope. You don't you don't see any wanted posters. Um as you're walking through the town, you can see that the people are avoiding the guards. They uh seem to go from building to building as quickly as possible. They're not dilly-dallying the the market that you normally see that it's bustling with people exchanging uh conversations and and telling rumors. You you you don't see any of that. If anybody's at the market, they're there to get whatever they need and then hurry back home. Nobody is is nobody's really free, it seems like. Everybody's going about to do the whatever they can to survive.

And yet there's people in a tavern. Yep. You gotta drink. So how uh looking at the guard I'm sorry. Looking at the guard, how well is he paying attention to the people coming and going?

He is looking at them as they go in and out. He's not stopping or challenging anybody though. Is he carrying anything with magical doodad? He's not carrying a magical doodad.

So uh the guard as you approach, he he says very flatly, uh tavern's open. Welcome in. And your silver piece drops onto the floor and he looks at it and then looks away from Zane says and walks in.

Alright. So you walk into the tavern, and you know, it is midday, so the sunlight filters through the dusty windows. Uh, you can see moats of dust and and and flour uh kind of floating inside the bar itself, as a barmaid carries a tray of bread and stew to a group of miners that are in a corner. The bar is about uh the Lucky Leaf is about half full right now. Uh kind of miners?

So he'll say that he's been out of touch for a couple of days, and that he thought that this place was closed because the proprietor was gone and try to and he didn't think we were allowed to drink liquor anymore.

So Zane will carry on a conversation knowing that neither one of them are gonna respond and they're not paying attention, but he'll carry on a conversation with them to make it seem like they're not distracted.

Okay. Uh so through George, uh you see a little puffy foxtail flickering in and out of George's peripheral vision. And uh as you're as George is going through the the back behind the server counter, behind into the back rooms, um, you start to hear what sounds like uh uh groaning. And uh you hear a couple muffled screams as you as George leaves the the the noise from the main room. Uh George goes up some stairs, and you can still see the fox going along with him, and uh you can see a a you see a door at the very end of the hall that's shut with a guard standing outside of it, and he uh and that's where it seems that the that scream the screams are coming from.

So uh go ahead, Arlock. Uh, I was just gonna say it looks like without reading the Fine Familiar thing that it just says that you sh you uh can take on the sight and hearing of the familiar. I think you'd be able to, like, like with astral projection, be able to like say what you're seeing and and hearing. Um just you'd be deaf and blind to what's happening in your own physical body. That's just what I'm reading right now. I was just I was just curious as we were looking at all as we were talking about it.

As he returns to consciousness, Elvar's gonna start squeezing a little bit harder.

Uh yeah, Voss will kinda slap Elvar's and no we're hey, we're trying to get some uh we're trying to get information out of this guy. Don't uh don't send him back to Sleepy Sleep Land.

Oh okay. And he'll uh just kind of toss him and go back to looking for hidey holes. Yeah.

Uh so do we know that this was the guard that was was he just looking after or was he actively torturing him or hurting him?

Uh you can see that his sword has some blood, dried blood on it. Uh some sorry, some fresh blood on it. Uh his hands have some marks. Uh his his knuckles have been roughed up a bit from where he was hitting Risio. And Ricio is staring at him very angrily.

Interrogation And A Brutal Finish

Okay. Uh so Voss will look at him and say, uh, who are you working for?

Hey, we my my contingent and I we were we were enlisted by the guards.

Do you mean the uh the werewolf guys out there?

Yeah, they they're starting to they're starting to hire and or they're starting to train normal civilians to complement their their ranks.

What did they tell you to do? What were your marching orders?

Well we were and he coughs a little bit, uh rubs his throat, and he sa and then looks up at Elvar and says, Well, we we were just told to guard this to guard the tavern. This is one of our favorite their favorite places, and when we saw Risio come in, we thought we had an opportunity.

Not the proprietor anymore, he's a traitor.

I he looks over at Risio again and says, All he had to do, like the rest of us, was keep his mouth shut and keep working. That's it. They're not doing anything to the rest of us. So who are they doing something to? The ones that are that have started this whole rebellion. I'm assuming you know where Seinmonder is. I lost his name for a second. I had to load it.

So we've been looking for Seinmonder. Where do you think he's at?

The guard looks around, uh, or the human looks around, and then kind of uh he clams up, he doesn't say anything.

You know, we do have the spell speak with dead. So that's some good advantage. You can talk now, or we can get information later.

Lomi intimidation. Eldvar got a 16 on insight, so he's gonna assume that he understands that Voss is lying about not knowing where Seinwander is, so he is not gonna speak up.

That that would be great. He's back in our house. We just left him. We just saw him. He was drinking in our kitchen. He's back at Bay Ram Grove.

Yeah, he's in Bayram Grove. But but in all seriousness, Elvar is pretty certain he's gonna kill this guy at the end anyway, so he doesn't really care about what information they give him.

I got it through Druid, so the guard uh the guard pulls the sleeve up a little bit, his chainmail, and on his wrist you can see a small tattoo, and it looks like a human skull, but where the incisors normally are, there's no there were no fangs there. And in common it says hollow fangs, and he looks down at it and he says, If I tell you, they'll kill me. I I or you'll kill me. Either way, I'm dead. I'd rather not betray my city.

So you know, so he looks uh Zayn will look over at Sign or at uh Sidemoners here. Ricio and say, Do you know his who his family is?

Well, I'm sure we can find out who your family is. You can die here, you can die later. The difference is is what happens to your family.

The Holofangs? No. Uh this is based off the conversation you just had, this is something that was started by the werewolves. Holofangs, you could probably guess, is a kind of like an insult from the werewolves, uh, making fun of the humans for not really having any teeth to bite with.
