Welcome, welcome, welcome, everybody, to another Forgiveness Friday. Happy Forgiveness Friday, everyone. Thank you for tuning in to the Forgive Podcast. There are two Vs in Forgive because we know there is victory in Forgiveness. Amen. Well, I am so excited. Welcome, everybody. We are gonna have another dynamic episode. We have a powerhouse that is on the show. That is my sister, pastor, confidant, prayer warrior, intercessor. You name it. You name it. That is who she is. It is a lifestyle for her. You understand? It's not a church ship. She got a relationship with God. And so I am so happy to have you on, Pastor Sean. Can you please just say hello to the people? Because I'm just excited. I'm already ready to see people.
SPEAKER_00I'm excited too. Hello, everybody. Thanks for joining us. We pray that something will be said today that will help you transform your life, not just change your life, but transform your life. So don't turn us off. Don't try to fast forward. You got to stay with us, okay?
SPEAKER_02Hey, listen, we're done. Like, tag, subscribe, tell somebody.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely.
SPEAKER_02Because everyone needs help for giving. So this season, you guys, we are talking about betrayal, boundaries, and becoming whole. So we are learning how to keep our hearts before God. Amen. And allowing him to be the stronger voice. And so again, I just welcome you, Pastor Sean. I want to go ahead and just tell y'all a little bit about her. Now, I asked just for a short bio because her bio could be a book. Her bio could be a book. You're going to find out at the end how you can find her, get in contact with her. Let me tell you something. She is going to bless your socks off. I'm going to plug her already. If y'all need her to sing, if y'all need your church choir tuned up, if y'all need a praise and worship, you need her at a women's conference. This woman is going to change and shift the atmosphere. But let me just tell you a little bit about her. Just a little bit. Pastor Sean Kidd is a devoted servant leader with over 27 years of ministry experience and more than 11 years as pastor of Guiding Light Church in Milwaukee. She is the loving mother of Minister Johnny Kidd. Excuse me, the loving wife.
SPEAKER_00I try to act like his mama sometimes, but see, look, that was the Holy Ghost.
SPEAKER_02He said, put that down. He said, see, I ain't I ain't tell you to act like his wife. Look, that was the Holy Ghost. Okay, gonna repent of that. Go on, repent of that. Lord, she is the loving wife of Minister Johnny Kiss. Sir, you know I love you. You know I love you, sir. And a proud mother of seven children. Girl, I just you've no way. That's completion. She said that was it. She said that was it, Jesus. That was it. With a heart for people, her ministry focuses on mental health awareness, life skills, spiritual growth, and helping individuals unlearn religion. This is my sister. You better come on. Woo, girl, we do not have religion. We have relationship. We have intimacy with God. I am with you. She loves to help individuals unlearn religion. She understands relationship and walk in grace. She leads a weekly women's support group on Zoom called A Safe Space. Walk Through the Word. Y'all need to make sure you check it out. She's gonna let you know at the end how you can get on that. Amen. And a safe space, walk through the word, was birthed in October of 2025. Y'all, this thing has blown up. It has blown up. And we thank you, Lord, that this will be known around the world. Women need a safe space, you guys. Yeah, and so she also has founded another chance ministries in Mesa, Arizona. Come on, congratulations. Come on, ACM. I didn't get one, but uh I'm I'm with you. ACM creating a space dedicated to healing, grace, and authentic relationships. My God, Pastor Sean, we are so excited to have you. Tell the people a little something, something that they don't know about you before we get started.
SPEAKER_00Um, maybe you don't know that I moved here from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and actually right at six years ago. I moved here June 15, 2026, um, during the middle of the pandemic. Everybody's like, you're moving in the middle of the pandemic. I was like, perfect time to go, have a nice day. And my husband and I talked about it. At first, we had a two-year plan to change to an eight-year, an eight-month plan. So, what we were gonna do in two years, God allowed us to do in eight months, and we moved down here in June of 2026, and this will be our sixth year here.
SPEAKER_02Wow, wow, and the best is still yet to come, and the best is still yet to come in Jesus' name. Listen, we know our words have power, so we decree and declare what we speak in the name of Yeshua, our Jesus, our Lord. Amen. Well, before we get into the details of your story, I want to begin here. Where did forgiveness for you start and what does it mean to you before you experienced betrayal? How did God begin to redefine it for you?
SPEAKER_00I have to tell a little bit of my story. Um I'm in the process of writing a book called Chronicles of a Pregnant Preacher. And I think forgiveness.
SPEAKER_02Girl, don't, you know, don't be trying to drive by stuff. Chronicles of a Pregnant Preacher, my preacher, my God.
SPEAKER_00Which is my story. That's my story. Um, I actually had two children out of wedlock. And um the first, my first son, I wasn't preaching yet. I was I was in leadership, you know, over the youth department, over the music department, all those type of things, but I hadn't yet um accepted my call into the ministry. But by the time I got pregnant with my second son, um, I was deep in ministry, um, really deep off in ministry. And just uh, I had to learn to forgive me. Um, regardless of what anybody else had to say about me or my my walk or my situation, I had to forgive myself. So um once I learned that God had already forgiven me, now it's time for me to forgive me. Once I was able to free myself, yeah, then I was able to walk, really walk in what God had ordained for me to do. But I had to forgive me first. So that's where forgiveness started for me, was forgiving me.
SPEAKER_02Right, right, right. Come on here, come on here. Amen. Well, I want I want you to get into your story and just tell me where in your journey you you've lived a lifetime of a lifetime of experiences, and so I I know you've gained a lifetime of wisdom coming through because we don't stay in it, we come through it, right? Absolutely. And so I I would love for you to share with us, you know, some of your journey, part of your journey in this forgiveness.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. Um, I come from a long line of pastors, preachers, singers. Um you a PK kid. I'm a PK. My daddy was um a pastor. So PK, so I know the ins and outs. I know how how it looks from the inside, I know how it looks from the outside, I know all the craziness that's involved with being a PK, being a pastor, being, you know what I'm saying? Being the example. Because my dad, he was a no-nonsense type of pastor. He was old school and he didn't play. He wasn't like the type, if you got pregnant out of wedlock, he was not gonna make you stand up in front of the church and apologize. He wasn't that type of out of control.
SPEAKER_02Amen.
SPEAKER_00Um, but we couldn't listen to blues um in the house. We couldn't play cards in the house, we couldn't uh have dice like that.
SPEAKER_02Listen, that's why we were sneaking. That's why we were sneaking.
SPEAKER_00No, it was way too many of us. We go upstairs, close the doors, and do clusters. We had ourselves a ball up there. Never knew how many car games took place, how many games. We had no idea. No idea. Come on here. But I had I grew up, I'm the baby girl, and I had um six sisters and a brother. Okay, and I would just sit in the middle of them and just listen to all the foolishness that took place. So when you talk about a lifetime of learning, I grew up really fast because I wanted to hurry up and be grown. Right.
SPEAKER_02Because I wanted to understand, don't we all?
SPEAKER_00I wanted to, but if I could turn back the hands of time, if somebody just would have told me to pump the brake.
SPEAKER_02What was that song? If I could turn back time.
SPEAKER_00Yes, exactly. Right. True.
SPEAKER_02But we find out real quick. We'll get you on the next series. We'll we'll get you all over the next series. Don't you worry.
SPEAKER_00Let's do it again. But being a PK in itself is a it's that's a whole story by itself because my dad was like, if we were living with somebody, he wouldn't come to our house. Or he was my poor sister, he would have her stand up. He'd be like, stand up. She stayed with her man. And I have been in her house yet. They scared the hell out of you. That's what they did.
SPEAKER_02He was like, Okay, I don't know who he is yet, but you know what? The alternative.
SPEAKER_00I'm gonna get to know him.
SPEAKER_02Right.
SPEAKER_00So my story started as a PK and trying to grow up fast. And but I love God. You know, I I love to sing, I love that, but you I was a part of the church, but the church was not a part of me.
SPEAKER_02Um I was a part of the church, but the church wasn't a part of me.
SPEAKER_00It wasn't in my heart yet.
SPEAKER_02Come on, I was gonna say explain that too.
SPEAKER_00You know what I'm saying? You know how to show up. We know how to play church, you know what to do. Yeah, you know what to do. You know how to you know how to have church, you know how to show up, yeah. You know what to do, you know what songs to sing, you know what notes to hit, you you know what to do, but right still you learn that you are the church and that it really becomes a part of your heart, and you learn that you are a representative, a representative of God wherever you go. Once you learn this, then that's when you start to walk differently.
SPEAKER_02Listen, it's more than it's more than Sunday morning. You bet girl, listen, girl, listen, that's why there's only one Holy Ghost. Yeah, I say this all the time. We can't say we the church, but don't look like the church. See, a lot of people follow Christ, right? Christian is a follower of Christ, but 2,000 years ago, a lot of people followed. They sat down, they heard, but guess what? When he finished, they got up and they went back the same way they came, right? The Lord was showing me, or even more so this year. You know, I reconsecrated myself. I always, you know, reconsecrate and just get back in the secret place with the Lord just so I can stay there. But he what he said was we can't just be followers, identify, right? We have to be imitators. Well, we should look like him. What did he do? What did he say? That's he makes it easy for us. We ain't gotta make up something or come up with something else, right? And so I'm like being I'm so more intentional about everything I say and how I move and how I treat people and how I release things. Yeah, because I'm like, oh Jesus, I want to imitate you in every way. It is not about me, it's about you. Let them see you. So we had to go through the hurt, sis. We we we had to go through the it was necessary, right? So that they could see the hurt, but also see the triumph, they could see the healing. For sure, sis.
SPEAKER_00Go ahead. Fantasia said it. It was necessary. I mean, we we had to go through it because if you didn't go to right, um, I don't just listen to gospel music, honey. I listen to all types. I've listened to gymnastics.
SPEAKER_02I I got you, uh, because I was on uh lose to win. You know, sometimes you gotta lose to win, Miss Fantasia. Listen, because I find God in every type of music, girl. It don't matter the genre. Did I say the word right? I can't spell it. Genre. Yeah, that's right. Thank you, sis. It don't matter, girl. It don't matter. Y'all know what I'm talking about. Look, you know, look, I can find them in everything.
SPEAKER_00But go ahead. Um, because it makes you who you are, right? It makes us it's it's the making process. I was talking on um our women's Bible study last night, and we were talking about how it's on you're on a potter's wheel, and when you're on a potter's wheel with the clay, how the wheel is spinning and the clay is being shifted and shaped, and it's sometimes it falls off the wheel, you slap it. You stretch it and pull it and mold it, and it's the process to be wet, you gotta keep wet in it, so you gotta keep putting it through this process, and but when it's done, it comes out as something beautiful, and that's how we have to look at things like I know that everything I went through, I went through so I could become who I am now, beautifully and wonderfully made. But it's a process, and you have to be willing to go through it. So being a PK prepared me to be a pastor, yeah, and uh just prepared me to be the leader that God called me to be. Had I not gone through those things, I wouldn't be able to endure the things that you have to go through and to when you're in ministry because that's a whole different um well, not just in ministry, not just in ministry, in life, but but no, no, no, but with the title, the call a pastor.
SPEAKER_02There's a weight and an anointing and an anointing that comes with the call, not somebody that called themselves. I'm talking about that was called by God. There's an anointing and a weight that you carry, a greater responsibility than just being in the church, right?
SPEAKER_00Because it's it's a life-changing experience. It it definitely changes your life. I wanted to, I wanted to keep doing what I was doing. Yeah, I didn't want to preach, I wanted to, I was enjoying drinking. I'm not even about to lie to anybody, like I was asking. I was enjoying it. Yes, I was, but once you give your life to God, once you decide to live for him, then you lay aside your fleshly desires and you start walking in what he desires for you.
SPEAKER_02Come on, come on, come on. There's that imitation.
SPEAKER_00There's that imitation exactly, just what you were talking about. Come on. You want to imitate his lifestyle, and his lifestyle was not drinking mad dog 2020.
SPEAKER_02His lifestyle he gave y'all a little bit, he gave you wine now. He gave you wine. See, you know, you you give some of us a little bit, and we just won't go and take the whole mile. We have created a whole industry of alcohols and had the nerve to call them spirits.
SPEAKER_00But you know, girl. Because if you get drunk enough, you know you be acting like somebody, a whole spirit.
SPEAKER_02And it is a whole demon, and it is because it's spiritual. We know everything is spiritual. Our war is not with flesh and blood, girl. But no, Jesus, we we sorry. You gave us the wine.
SPEAKER_00That's why he said, Be ye not drunk with wine and strong drink. He knew we were gonna do some more and strong wine.
SPEAKER_02He said that strong wine drink.
SPEAKER_00He knew we were gonna have something too. So he said, Let me cover that. Don't be drunk with that either. Just don't be drunk.
SPEAKER_02But you know, he said, Let me cover that too.
SPEAKER_00I got that, I got that too. But yeah, um, it was just it was a process. Being a PK led me to, you know, uh, I started my ministry and spiritual warfare. Yeah, um, that's where I really started. Um and I was just telling people like if you've never witnessed that type of situation, you won't even think it's real. If you've never um saw a demon being cast out first, come on, you probably think it's just like the exorcist. Like you don't think it's real until you see it, but that's where my ministry started, and just that will help you build a relationship with Christ because nothing else does.
SPEAKER_02Listen, I say this all the time, girl. When everything is good, and you know, oh, I'm blessed, I'm highly fed. God is so good. You do not find out your relationship in Christ until you go through adversity. That's when you find out who you really are. Do you really believe what you say you believe? Do you really trust the process like you said? Because this is a process. Because when everything looks good, it's easy to say that. But I didn't find out, like you said, my relationship with God until I lost it all. Until I lost it all, I'm sitting in jail, I'm getting ready to go to prison. Yeah, okay. That's that's when I found out who I really was in Christ, and that whoa, I really didn't have the faith I thought I did. I really didn't have the relationship I thought I did because had I did, I may not have been here. You understand? Right, and so I thank God because He meets us. Jesus. Listen, in jail, in prison, on the corner with the with the what did you say, 40? Mad dog 40, 40.
SPEAKER_00Mad dog 20, 20.
SPEAKER_02See, look, I don't drink, I don't even know what to call it. What I say, 40. I'll handle that part. You handle that part. Look, I'll handle the part about losing your mind, okay? I'll handle that part. You know, I'm almost my ever lost a mind, okay? But go on and tell me about the mad dog 4020. Look, go on and you got it 2020. 2020. Okay, girl, listen.
SPEAKER_00That was 20 years ago, so don't worry about it. I can write a book about it.
SPEAKER_02And you will, and I am, and you are, and it is so in Jesus' name. If he dropped it, it is so. All our we we just gotta believe it, and this is why people have to tell their story because everything that you have gone through is for somebody else, y'all. Let me say, oh, shut up. Jesus, Jesus, everything that you have gone through, God is not shocked, surprised. Is he's not snuck that you went through adversity. In fact, he was like, I'm waiting on you.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_02Come on, I'm waiting on you to look up.
SPEAKER_00It's crazy. I was just talking about that last night on Safe Space. It's exactly what you just said. We don't go through things just to keep it to ourselves, we go through it to share with someone else to let them know if I survived it, you can too. If he delivered me, he could deliver you. Not to just be the keeper of our secrets, like we have to share in order to help someone else be overcome and let them know that they can make it. That's the purpose.
SPEAKER_02Uh you know what? I I am so in agreement with you, and I'm gonna blast you and call you out. I'm gonna do a women's conference next year, and so um the Lord already showed me you there. So as a psalmist and as a speaker, so go on and get ready. Yeah, go on and get ready to take your testimony on how you can free the people. So go on, get ready. So look, you won't hear now, and you must say it. So now you can't take it back. You can't take it back. That's how the Holy Ghost works. He sneak you, you don't sneak him. Come on now.
SPEAKER_00Be like, well, you got me there, Jesus. Exactly.
SPEAKER_02Oh my god, oh my god. So tell me through your story what was one specific moment that you know you were going through the struggle as a PK kid and coming into pastoring and how your forgiveness journey developed. Is there a specific moment or pattern that really marked your heart and made forgiveness feel impossible or unfair?
SPEAKER_00I have to say I always say that we should surround ourselves with a community of people that are able to remind you of who you are and who you are. Because if you think about it, even when the disciples were on the water and Jesus was walking on the water and they were in the boat, and he was walking, they was like, Jesus, is that you? Right. And one of the disciples was like, Yeah, bro, that's Jesus. Like Who else would that be walking on the water? Like who else would be doing that? Right. So I'm a firm believer that you have to surround yourself with people that can remind you of who you are and who you are. And even when you think that you're um unforgivable or that something or someone is unforgivable, there's someone around you to remind you, like, nah, come on, grace still abides.
SPEAKER_02Come on.
SPEAKER_00And where if there's grace to forgiveness, and I think for me, it was even though I was pregnant, even though I was a preacher, my daddy said to me, he said, Have you prayed and asked God to forgive you? I say yes. He said, God is forgiving you. I forgive you. Forgive yourself and do what God called you to do. Come on. And if anybody has a problem with it, tell them to see me.
SPEAKER_02Come on, Joseph.
SPEAKER_00If there was a place where I felt like I was in a place of unforgiveness, or I felt like I couldn't be my daddy and my daddy, we were all as well. And then um, he even placed my husband in my life, um, who had to decrease and declared he wasn't getting married again. I'm not getting married again, I'm not doing it again. Well, I was like, I don't care, fine, be great. I raised one baby by myself, I'll raise another one. Come on, but the Holy Ghost touched his heart. And the day that I was called to, my sister and I were installed to the church. That Sunday, he asked me to marry him. He said, I can't let you go into pastorialship with a boyfriend or a man. He said, I have to help you walk this thing out the right way. And we got married that right.
SPEAKER_02I got it.
SPEAKER_00So God didn't even allow me to go into it, even feeling broken or even feeling um like I can't do it or I shouldn't do it. No, he he put my husband in place to make sure that we were locked in the right place at the right time for the right reason. So I can't, I can't tell you.
SPEAKER_02I love it.
SPEAKER_00I was, you know what I'm saying? I was never in that place because God surrounded me with people to let me know, like, no, we got this.
SPEAKER_02But that's so good. But that's so good, and that's so important, right? Because everybody's story and journey and process is different. And so this is so beautiful to hear. So that this really helps people that are walking this journey, that maybe not have great faith. Maybe they really don't know God, maybe they don't really have a relationship, but they know some good people around them that know how to encourage them, right? That know how to speak life into them, that know how to keep them future focused and present-minded, right? Hallelujah. Oh, Jesus. Community is so important. You know, the Lord says, but forsake not the fellowship of the assembly, right? Yes, forsake not. We're supposed to assemble so we can lift each other up, encourage each other when we don't have the fight in us. Because ain't none of us, Jesus. Look, I speak for me. I this days I just I just I just don't have the fight. I said many times, girl, I had to Google sundown. I'm like, Jesus, why don't we have to be mad till 659? Because this one right here, okay 659. Sundown is seven on that day. It's 659, and it might have been 55 seconds. It might have been in 55 seconds, you know. I just you I'm just keeping it real. I'm not Jesus, okay? And I'm not a pastor, look, you know, so I ain't arrived, y'all. You know, you are funny. Okay, I'm just saying, you know, I we we have to do that, you know, because there are little offenses, there are medium offenses, and there are ones that you just be like, nigga, what right teacher, you know, that that's the Ty Keisha. We talked about that girl. That's the one that be even like nigga earlier. Okay, see, hold on, Keisha come back, you know. I wait, I might have some residue from something, I don't know.
SPEAKER_00But since even as a pastor, though, even as a evangelist, uh a prophet, there are days when you still uh get caught off your square. Yeah, you know what I'm saying? And you need somebody to say, hey, yeah, we're the back kid, yeah, no comeback. Um, don't let anger overtake you, or you know what I'm saying? Because who baby girl sometimes the listen?
SPEAKER_02He told us the flesh wasn't no good, so it ain't it shouldn't even be a shock, it shouldn't even be a shock to us, right? Right, he said we were born into a sin nature, so it's not even my fault, it's not my fault, right?
SPEAKER_00Right, so I could have passed, right? He's like, Yeah, you get grace.
SPEAKER_02Get that's it.
SPEAKER_00How about it?
SPEAKER_02Okay, that's what you get. And he's like, and here was the other thing, dude. He's like, Grace and mercy. So if he this is what he told me, because that's how he talked to me, hard head. He was like, if if I extend, because I had the nerve to be like, Oh Lord, you extended grace and mercy is new every morning for me. He was like, Yeah, the same grace and mercy I extended for you is what you're supposed to extend to others.
SPEAKER_00And you like, uh-oh.
SPEAKER_02I was like, oh, that part, yes, sir. Okay, daddy.
SPEAKER_00Yes, for real.
SPEAKER_02Okay, for real. Right.
SPEAKER_00Absolutely. So, oh my god. It's crazy though, right? Because it's it's so easy for us to want grace and mercy, good, but then it's so hard to want to extend grace and mercy.
SPEAKER_02But you know why it's hard? Because we're trying to do it in our own effort, we're trying to rationalize it, we're trying to rationalize the injustice, and we're battling between the betrayal and how you made the embarrassment, you know, all that stuff. Our fleshly minds process this. And guess what? That's not wrong. God knows that we have a human nature, but what we're supposed to do is take that nature to him to say, Lord, I don't know what to do with this. I don't even know why I'm upset. I don't know why I can't let this go. I don't know why this has hurt me. You know, show me me. That's what I go to God. I'm always show me me. Is there residue in there somewhere?
SPEAKER_00Yes, you know, because search me, oh God.
SPEAKER_02Yes, search my heart. Yes, girl, my prayer truly is Lord, created me a clean heart and renewing me a right spirit, because every day I know I repent.
SPEAKER_00Every day, every day. Um, what's wonderful about it is like right, he already knows us, right? He knows the number of hairs that we have on our heads, like he created us. If you ever think about the intricacies of the human body, how like our heart even looks like the branches of a tree, like how he took his time. He took his time and he he formed us and he made us, and he knew that we would be um borderline crazy sometimes. He knew that we would have anger issues, he knew, you know what I'm saying? He knew all of us. That's true. And he still took his time and crafted us um in his image and his likeness, and he still sometimes come.
SPEAKER_02I'm like, you know, and that's what makes you just fall in love with him any even more. I know I do. I'm like, Lord, you love me and saved me despite me. Because I know I'm a piece of work. You know, you you knew everything that I would ever do, everything I would ever say, the times that I would doubt you, the times I didn't want to talk to you, because I just didn't want to be right. You know, I just didn't want to be right today. Well, I always gotta be the right one. That's why I got till 6:59, because I'm I'm gonna pout today.
SPEAKER_00It's a little later now. You got to like 7:30 because the sun says Jesus had a few extra minutes.
SPEAKER_02We'll praise him, we'll praise him. Thank you, sis. See, that's a sister, iron sharpening iron. I got you. You you got me, girl. You making sure I stay in the time frame. I got a little bit more.
SPEAKER_00Get it all out and get right.
unknownRight.
SPEAKER_02But he loves us so much that he gives us that, and and guess what? It doesn't scare him away.
SPEAKER_00Oh my god, that is the best part about it. He's not gonna run off, he's not gonna shut you out, he's not gonna ghost you, he's not gonna act like he never knew you. Tees us. Wherever we leave him at, he's right there waiting. Like he's just chilling, waiting for you to come back. Like, I know she's coming. So you go bump your head, you go skin your knee, you go fall down. When you come to yourself, I'm right here waiting for you.
SPEAKER_02Girl, sometimes we gotta bust it to the white meat. Do what we used to say, we bust our head to the white meat. To the white meat. I was the white meat kid. I got the scars on my knee. I was rough, girl. I was such a tomboy. I was low. I I had to bust my head to the white meat. I wasn't like some of y'all. I wasn't perfect. I didn't get it right away. I didn't, I didn't.
SPEAKER_00I didn't get it right away.
SPEAKER_02I was a white meat.
SPEAKER_00Just be like, you think I can get away with this? Like, let me try to see. Let me see.
SPEAKER_02Well, listen, I'll be like, you let them. Why not? Not you let them, not you let them. You let them. You let them. I did. That's how I talked to him. Listen, listen, I told God a long time ago. He got a real problem. I am, I'm his little girl, I am, I'm daddy's little girl, I am, I am. I got a whole prayer closet where I get small with him, and I'm I am. Okay. I told him a long time ago I got real problems, real issues, real situations. I need a real God. Ain't nobody got time for hocus pocus, uh rubbing a statue stomach, my own thinking and figment of my imagination. Who got time? Girl, I'll be back in jail and prison. Let me tell you something.
SPEAKER_00Babe, I can't. I can't. The way this world is set up, like I really need um a strong anchor. I need to be anchored in a solid foundation. I don't need anything that can blow away. I don't need anything that could drift away. I need a sure, solid foundation, and I found that in Jesus. I'm so happy that I did. So I searched the whole stuff, but I'm so happy I found them, honey, unless I'd have been like a tumbleweed. I've been out there like a dust storm blowing all over the place. Listen, thank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_02You and me, I'd have been a hurricane. Um I'd have just been a hurricane. The Tasmanian devil, you know, something just wreckshop. I'm just gonna wreck shop because it was it was it was me, you know, my way to highway. I thought, girl, who was I, child? Foolish but God, foolish, but this what girl, and this is why we love him so much because we know what he's forgiven in us, yes, absolutely. I know how he has forgiven me time and time again. How could I not extend that love?
SPEAKER_00And then how can you not how can you not forgive your your own self? Like, how can we um talk to people about forgiveness or talk to people about how to forgive if we still have some places in our heart where we haven't forgiven ourselves?
SPEAKER_02That's real. Well, it goes back to the scripture when he says that we have to love the Lord our God with all our hearts, all our souls, all our minds, all our strengths. And then he says to love your neighbor as yourself. You can't love anybody else if you don't love you. And here's the thing, and it's okay, y'all. If you're in a space where you don't love you, or you you are in self-doubt and and you're in stuff, all this negative talk and and all of that, that's okay. Take that to him. Yes, take it to you. He wants you funky, dirty, stanky. He wants all of it because he's the only one that can wash, he's the only one that can heal, he's the only one that can restore. He doesn't ask us to perform, he just says, Can you come to me authentically?
SPEAKER_00Just show up.
SPEAKER_02Just show up. Well, girl, how he has showed up in your life. I want to ask you a couple more questions because it's just so good. This is just so good. Your story about your story. So for you, once you you at that turning point, right? Where you really, you know, your father said, Okay, did you go to God? You know, you're forgiven with God and you forgave yourself. What did that forgiveness actually look like? Where how did your life change so that somebody who's in a situation and they're they're wanting to forgive or they they're wanting to start that process? What did that look like for you?
SPEAKER_00For me, it looked like because you know, when you're carrying the burden of unforgiveness, it makes you heavy.
SPEAKER_02Talk about it.
SPEAKER_00You you don't smile like you used to smile. You don't have any joy, you know what I'm saying? You you don't have those things. I I I felt sad. I I felt um embarrassed. I felt um like I had disappointed people.
SPEAKER_01Right.
SPEAKER_00Um, however, once I came to the realization that God had forgiven me, me and my dad were good because I was my dude. Um my mama, you knew my mama, so you already know.
SPEAKER_02I got her picture in my room. She's in one of my bedrooms. And here.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, you already knew. So once I came to that, I was able to smile again. I was able to, I was able to laugh again. And it it it was a real laugh. Right, it wasn't fake. You know what I'm saying? I could feel the joy of the Lord still in my heart again. Um, and some people says say, What's the joy of the Lord? You feel his love again. Yeah, you feel the warmth. So even if you don't um really right now have a relationship with him, once you develop a relationship with him, once you spend time in your word, once you spend time in prayer, you'll start to understand what the joy of the Lord feels like. Like even if you don't feel happy, you can feel joy.
SPEAKER_02Come on, Hill. Listen, I used to say happiness. I'm sorry, it says happiness is circumstantial. I just want to add, happiness is circumstantial, it's based upon the circumstance. Joy is everlasting. Come on, joy is everlasting, okay? Because it's from him. Oh, Jesus. Go ahead. You just got me excited.
SPEAKER_00Yeah, me too. Because I'm thinking about it, right? And I'm thinking about the place that I was in, but the place that his joy brought me back to. So I was able to laugh again, I was able to smile again, I was able to sing again. Um, because I had even sat myself down. I wasn't singing, I wasn't preaching, I wasn't doing anything, I was sitting. So once um I made that turn, I was able to feel all those things again. Because once God times one, once God reminds you, you start to feel that thing, you're free, you're free to smile, you're free to laugh, you're free to sing, even if it's in the wrong key. Come on, listen.
SPEAKER_02I'm part of the universal choir. I don't care. Don't listen. He created the universal choir. He he created this boy. So meh, meh, meh. Girl, listen here in my room and in a collaboration, I'm off the chain. I can hit every note. But I want to say something though, and you saying that would just hit me so hard. And this this right here is why forgiveness is so important. If you, oh my god, if you had not turned that corner, yeah. When your father, if you had not get got an agreement and an alignment with God to believe his word that you were forgiven by him, and therefore you could forgive yourself, and therefore received your natural father's forgiveness. You are a powerhouse. See, you are a powerhouse psalmist and prayer warrior intercessor and pastor. Now, I just what hit me is if you had not done that, you wouldn't have walked in this purpose. You would have walked down a different path of anger, resentment, you know. Look at the church people and did to me, and you know what, I'm mad at God, and y'all supposed to be, you know, his representatives, and y'all crucifying me. I don't want that God. Girl, you could have gone a whole nother direction. And see, here's the thing: you have such an anointing on your life. I have chills. See, see, this is about intimacy and real relationship with a supernatural God, not a God that's a figment of our imagination, not a God that we put in a box, but a God that you meet in the secret place. And you have met him in the secret place, and it's evident in your life. Y'all, listen, if y'all ain't heard her preach, she's gonna tell you at the end where you can. This woman will listen, she delivers the word of God. Let me say this. No, let me take this back. She yields, she yields to the Father to allow the Holy Spirit to speak through her so that transformation takes place and change. She doesn't get up there and preach what she wants, she yields to the Holy Ghost. Okay, and that's why there's change and fruit in your life. But she's gonna tell you how to get there. But here's the other thing I just have to see because you don't, it's your fault though. You brought up the choir, it's your fault. Go and give them a Mimi bars, go give them a meme. Don't drop a couple of those. Say what you don't say. No, I want what I what I what I want to say is I need you to drop a few bars. That's what I wanted to say, and just bless they soul. Just give me one, just humor me. Don't give me one.
SPEAKER_00So um sweet trust in Jesus, just to take him and his word, just to rest upon his promise. Just to know my savior. He lives, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, how I trust you how I oh race. Oh, great to trust you trust you, Ma.
SPEAKER_02My God, he is in the room. He is in the room. Oh my god. Oh, there's such a peace.
SPEAKER_00Thank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, Jesus. Girl, see, y'all listen. I everybody's gonna say the same thing. Yep. They needed to hear it. Yep.
SPEAKER_01Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02Yep, yep, yep. This voice needs to go around the world. Around the world, around the world in the name of Jesus. So I just wanna uh ooh, girl, I'm in such peace. I want to lay down. Now I want, girl, listen, I want to enter into his rest and just go on to sleep.
SPEAKER_00Just gotta learn how to trust him. That's all you gotta do.
SPEAKER_02My God. So I want to ask you this question. Um for the woman that's listening. As we begin to wrap up, I want you to imagine the woman right now who feels unloved, unseen. She's had a similar situation or another heartbreak or embarrassment or humiliation that she thought she couldn't come through, that she feels like she's the blame, whatever it is. What would you say to her heart? And what is one simple step that she can take this week towards freedom?
SPEAKER_00I would say this week, my my eyes tearing up a little bit. Uh, makes me think about the woman at the well.
SPEAKER_02Oh, come on.
SPEAKER_00When uh she went to get water and Jesus said, 'Give me water.' She was like, 'Who are you asking me for water?' She had no idea who she was talking to. You may feel like talking to Jesus, you have no idea who you're talking to. But just like he knew the woman at the well, he knows you. So if you just go to him and tell him your secrets, tell him your heart, ask him to come into your life and help you develop a relationship with him. And he'll show you exactly what you need to do. I'm a firm believer that he's gonna even put people in your life to help you better get to know him. I'm believing I'm a believer that there's gonna be a community that will help you develop your relationship with Christ. Because even if we say, Lord, come into my heart, I accept you as my Lord and Savior. Now, what's the next? The next that you have to develop a relationship with them. And once you have that relationship with them, that's when you'll start to feel change and see change. So you don't have to pray a whole deep prayer. You don't have to say a whole button, it's not abracadabra. Magic words. Come on, come on. Just go to him as you are. Say, Lord, I need your help. God help me. And he's able to get it.
SPEAKER_02Amen. That is so good. Thank you for just keeping it so real, so simple. You know, I pray all the time. I say, Lord, help me to make you more real for your people so that they can experience you. I want them to experience and encounter the supernatural God that we know, right? Because some people might not end up in church. They may never have heard a word across the pulpit, right? And that's why it's so important that we imitate and reflect Him. Right? I tell people all the time if I say Jesus, Jesus, and you can't see my Jesus in me, you better run. Come on. Come on. You better run. Okay? Right. That's the truth. So I just want to um leave them with this. What is one scripture that carried you through this season? And then I want to ask you if you will pray over all the listeners.
SPEAKER_00Oh, for sure. Um, my favorite scripture is John 3.16. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son. Come on. That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but should have everlasting life. Um, so just know him, get to know him. Yeah, he gave his son for you so you can have life eternally. So just get to know him, just spend some time with him. Even it's a few, put the Bible app on your phone and just read that daily scripture or get in contact with Keisha, the forgiveness coach, and let her help you um find your way to him. It's not a hard road, it's an easy way to him. Yeah, you might struggle to stay on the road, but it's easy to get to it.
SPEAKER_02Come on, it's a lifetime journey. We all gonna do it together. Come on. He said, I began a good work with you that will continue until the day that Jesus Christ comes back. So that let me know that my work in progress is a lifetime. It's a lifetime. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. And so will you pray? It has been just so amazing. I just want to say thank you, thank you, thank you for being on today. This was just such a blessing to me, for my soul. I'll be the one. So I know that it has touched so many people's hearts, bless their souls. You've just given us hope, you've given people freedom, you've given them a pathway, you've given them tools. And so, will you cover them in the name of Yeshua, the God that we know that answers prayers?
SPEAKER_00Yes, my God, today, Father God, in the name of Jesus, we just want to say thank you, God. Thank you, God. We thank you for uh Keisha. We thank you for the forgiveness coach, we thank you for this platform. God, we just pray that you would continue to open doors for her, God, continue to make ways, God, continue, bless her, Lord, to equip other women and to help other, um, not just women, but even men um to equip them of what you have for their hearts for as it relates to forgiveness, Lord, and to moving toward their destiny. Continue, God, just anoint her all the more. In the name of Jesus, God, we pray against every demon, every devil, every plot that we come against in the name of Jesus. We bind that thing in the name of Jesus, Lord. Have your way in her life, God, in her husband and her children, Lord, and every person that's listening today, that's struggling with forgiveness, whether it's of someone or of themselves. God, have your way today. God, touch their heart, touch their mind. Let them know that it is well. Let them know that it's already done, Lord. That your word says, Seek me first, the key, seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all other things will be added. So, Lord, we seek you today. We seek you for a stronger foundation. We just thank you, Lord. We thank you for life, health, and strength, God, and we pray for every person that's struggling, even in those areas. God, we speak to their finances, we speak to their bodies from the top of their hands to the sole of their feet. We know you are a healer, Lord. We know you are a deliverer, we know you are a way maker. So have your way in our lives today, God. In the name of Jesus, God, don't let this platform be in vain, Lord. Every week, every every guest, every speaker, let something be said to help someone to be saved, healed, delivered, andor set free. And Lord, if I may just pray for my family even today, Lord. Just touch them, Lord, even while you're passing our blessings, Lord. Don't forget about us. And we thank you so much. We stand on your premises for they are, yes, and amen. Even the sound engineer, even the sound technician, even the cameraman, even the videographer, touch today in the name of Jesus, and we'll be so careful to give you all the praise, to give you all the glory. If it's anything I miss, Lord, you already know. And we thank you in Jesus' name. We pray. Amen and thank God.
SPEAKER_02Amen, amen, and amen. I told y'all, I told y'all, I told y'all. Woo! There's nothing like having someone go to the throne room on your behalf. Thank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_01Thank you, Jesus.
SPEAKER_02Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. You know, I I pray and reiterate everything I prayed over you before the show. And I thank him now that you continue to stay hidden in his heart so that you will only look like him, you will only sound like him, you will only reflect him, and he will take you all around the world. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Amen and amen. Wow, y'all. We have had a powerhouse show.
