There are moments when the path we are walking on comes to a T. We are offered two completely different directions on which to travel. Go this way, or, go that way. It is a choice and sometimes it means letting go of earlier expectations and long-held, maybe unfulfilled, aspirations for our lives.
When I found the courage to put down my dream of becoming a Broadway actress and chose to say yes to a new vocation in the healing arts, I was given a blessing I could never have imagined.
This episode tells the story of the extraordinary gift I was given in my life and reminds me, even today, that sometimes it isn't "either/or" sometimes we are given the miracle of "both".
