The Consequences of "Undertone"

This week you get to meet Aly's mom as we discuss the movie "Undertone" and the potential dangers of watching it without cleansing yourself afterwards. Aly's sister went to go see the movie, and these are the experiences that her mother ended up having once her sister returned home after. We also discuss poor decisions made by the main character (slight spoilers! Be warned!). Erica is back on the pod again as a G-host and our crystal of the week is Fluorite, her favorite! So what's chaotic in your life, Erica? Um, so I pitched um my album idea to a producer. Um, and it's like a producer that has a couple songs on the uh like top Billboard 100. Um and he actually responded. What? That is so cool. And he did say, like, hey, I'm busy right now, having a lot of chaotic stuff going on. I'm moving and I'm not having a lot of things open on my schedule. But the minute I do, I really want to circle back around to you. And he made sure that he like told me that he really appreciated how much detail that I put into my submission.

So more cards. Actually, kind of, I got them fixed. Um, so my other day, or uh uh yeah, the other day I was driving around um and I made it from like one side time to the other. I was on the road for probably about an hour and a half that day. Uh, but my tire light sensor came on and it'd been kicking on for a little bit. So it's like, you know what, there's a discount tire. Let me just go and get it checked up real quick. And so the guy's checking it, and then he's coming back after each tire. He's like, uh, he's like, there's no trend on your tires. He's like, I can't even fill these up. He's like, If I fill these up, I'm scared they're gonna like pop. He's like, can you park somewhere? And the sad part was like this was close to their closing time.

So he's like, Can you park somewhere so I can just take a look at your car?

He's like, I really don't feel safe with you driving on the road right now. And I was like, Okay.

So what it was was your tires were so bald it was seeping air, basically.

Yeah, he showed me the inside of that tire that was giving me issues, and the inside of it was like bald, bald. Could you you almost could see the wires of it? Yeah. Jesus. So luckily they caught it, and I was able to fix my tires up. But I was like, wow, I was like, I could have just been driving, and it was raining that day too. I could have been driving, blown out of tire, and died. Well, try to hit the brakes and you have no tread. That's you know, slide everywhere. Honestly, I didn't realize how big of a difference tires made. And today, when I was driving, I was like, oh, this my car's not sliding.

Um, so Jesus is our biggest fan. I'm kidding, it's not really Jesus. So um a little over a year ago. Uh huh. Yeah, a little over a year ago, Ali and I went to Sherwood Forest Fair in Page, Texas. And which is is super cute. Like, if you live nearby, like go see Sherwood Forest Fair. It is just a delight upon delights. And we were doing a quest. Quest, yes. We were doing a quest. And while we're like trying to figure something out and looking at this map, this guy that was standing next to me looking at the same map was like, wait a minute, are you doing the yellow quest? And we're like, Yeah, we are. And we made friends with this person and did the quest together. And it was a really fun time. And his name was Jesus. And um, we started the podcast between that run fair and the more recent one that we went to back in October. And he also like went to that same run fair, and so we gave him one of our cards, thinking, like, oh yeah, you know, cool, whatever. And apparently he avidly listens to our podcast. So hi. Hi, Jesus! Yeah, we just wanted to say hi and thank you for your unwavering support of this strange little project of ours. And um, we hope you continue listening to our weird chaoticness.

Oh yeah, maybe you can join us um next time we go to Renfair. Yeah. So that was the fun part is like when we met him, we started a whole adventuring party that day. We got to see a witch's hut that told us about all the glass portals she was making. Oh yeah. And then while we were there, there was another person who was also waiting on friends who also joined our quest to help us out figure shit out that we couldn't figure out. Um, we did complete this quest and we had an adventuring party of four that started off as strangers. Yeah. And it was the most fun I'd ever had with people.

So yeah, we have something extra special for y'all today. Y'all have already heard one of my family members on the podcast. And now it's time that you get to hear one of Allie's family members. So you want to introduce what we're on the play? Yeah.

Okay. So I I just thought that this was really fun. Um, so just to kind of give you guys some like background a little bit. So uh my family grew up very religious. Um, we were very Christian. Uh my great-grandma worked for the church, and at some point in her life, she uh felt like she was able to see, communicate, fight with like demons, paranormal stuff, to the point where um she was she was diagnosed schizophrenic and uh like a lot of things that she would say, people would just kind of write off and be like, You're just kind of like crazy old Christian lady. Well, after she passed away, my mom started having those same issues. So, I mean, not she it's weird to say because I'm like my mom's not I know my mom's not schizophrenic, she's not crazy. Um, because I have also dealt with uh certain things growing up. My siblings have also dealt with things growing up. My dad, who isn't a very um spiritual person, I just got goosebumps out of nowhere.

My yeah, I did actually. I felt the draft. Yeah, my dad, not very spiritual person, doesn't believe in a lot of that stuff, but he has had experiences around like my mom and stuff like that. My my family just has on and off experience. So not too long ago, there was a movie that came out about podcasters and they were listening to voice recording? It was a it was a recording um about some people. Anyway, the the movie is uh undertone. Yes. It's a new movie that came out.

Um quick synopsis is basically like they're listening to these recordings and like weird shit is happening to this couple where like the wife starts sleep sleep talking and then like it gets weirder and weirder until eventually, like basically like spoil alert, um skip ahead a couple minutes if you're gonna be able to do that. If you plan on watching watching the movie Undertone and haven't yet. Um, so like eventually, like a demon enters their home and possesses the wife, and the female podcaster really gets like in depth into like re-trying to find research on this recording situation that they're dealing with or listening to, and um bad shit starts happening to her as well. And then it didn't give away too much.

Well, I don't know. But the thing is, when we were watching this movie, one of the things that stood out to us was um when they're doing the chant for this demon. Yes. Um I mean I've I've seen scary movies, I I've seen movies where they mentioned like real demons or they talk about demons and stuff, and I never feel as like freaked out or anything, but for some reason, and it could have just been the way that the movie was made with like the sounds and the effects to make it uneasy. But um, I think a lot of people had the same reaction of like, this feels a little too real.

This feels too real, this feels different. Yeah. Why are they using a name of a real fucking demon and saying it over and over again? And like are they trying to like conjure this thing in every freaking theater across the world? That's how it feels, yeah.

So uh me, Chase, and a few friends of ours got to see it, and the three of us kind of had that same reaction when that part of the movie was coming out, where we're like, okay, um, I hadn't really talked about it since, or like to anybody, because I was like, oh, it's just a movie. But my mom and my sister are having experiences because of that movie, and uh, she wanted to share her experience on this podcast, so I have it um I have my call with her recorded here.

Okay. So it's a little crazy, okay. You might even be like, oh what? Like, were you dreaming or whatnot? So Jasmine went to go watch um what is that movie? That new scary movie that came out? Undertone. Um Undertone.

No, you went to go see it. Did you see it? Yeah, I went to go watch it. Okay, so I I still don't know. She told me a little bit about it. Honestly, you haven't even seen the previous to it. But I don't know, I never find them to go watch it. So she sends me a text. Um, guess when the movies finish me and she tells me, Hey mama, she goes when when I came home, can you please pray for me? I I really don't like what I just watched, which is very unusual because you know the kids love scary movies. So we've watched everything conjuring, all of that stuff. Yeah. Um so I was a little like taken back, but you know what's what's weird is that I was here um with uh Joseph and Jojo, and we were just listening to music, and I don't know why. Something, something kept telling me, like, because we'll play music and then all of a sudden I'll change it to to like Christian music, I'll change it to something different. And something was like telling me, like, change it to like spiritual music, Christian music, something different. And I even told I even told uh uh uh Joseph and Jojo, I told them, all right, now I'm gonna put on my worship music on um just to let them know, just to prepare them. And they were like, Yeah, okay. So Jasmine sent me that text. I don't know why when she sent me that text, I felt that urgency to pray. Um and I even told uh Joseph, I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna, I'm gonna start praying. Like, I'm just gonna pray over the house, I'm gonna pray over, you know, everything like this, everything. So I started doing that, and then Jazzy gets home, and I could see that she's just a little uneasy. And like, oh, I follow her to the room, and I asked her, I'm like, what happened? And she's like, I she goes, honestly, she goes, I didn't think it was gonna be that scary. But she the fact that she told me she was like, I have never felt so scared in a movie like I felt with this movie, which to me that's weird because you know we watched really scary movies, yeah. So and I asked her, Well, why? Like, what happened? And she said that what made her very uneasy, she says, is when they start invoking uh demon that the girl is speaking backwards, I guess. Yeah, but she says that as soon as that happened, she said that something like something in her, like she she thought to herself, like this is real, like this is a real demon, they're invoking something real, and that it made her feel even more scared. And she says that even her friend told her I'm not liking the movie, like that even thought of like yeah, that they were thinking of walking out, and I'm like, you should have just walked out, but she's like, No, I know we just texture it. But she says that as soon as she got out of the movie and into her car, that something told her you need to pray when you go home, like pray as soon as you get home. So that's why she texted me. So I did, I and I'm telling you, it was something, you know, like when like a child asks you to pray, and you're like, Okay, yeah, let's pray, and you know, we pray. So I'm telling you, even before I was feeling like an urgency, like pray. So then I pray for her, and then I thought, you know what, I'm just gonna bless God already blessed all the house, and then I I prayed over Joseph, I prayed over JoJo, and don't need I even pray for you, I pray for uh Adrian. Yeah, like I pray for everybody because I know the devil will come and attack, you know, everything, and then anyone like your family. So um that night, oh my gosh, my love. So I'm I even went to sleep praying. So I'm praying, and then I fell asleep, and in my dream, I'm dreaming that I'm here at the house, and that I walked into my room, and in between like my closet and that little white resting chair that I have, that little sofa that I felt like I was gonna faint. And in my dream, I feel like I'm sleeping away and I'm trying so hard not to faint, like I'm trying to hold on and get this.

So I see in my dream, I see the cat there by the chair, and I'm trying by the sofa, and I'm trying to reach to her, and all of a sudden I feel something grab me, like super tight, like just hurting me tight. And I can't even turn my head, but I look with my eyes, and it's this dragon-like thing. It's like a it's a demon. And I could just see it's its side, like a little bit of its profile, but it's like squeezing me and it starts growling. The growl, I had never I can't tell you I've heard that growl in a movie. I've never heard a growl like that. Um I start fighting it like I'm trying to get away. Um but for a moment I'm scared, and then all of a sudden I just get angry, like I'm telling it no, like no, and I'm trying to pray. Well, from there, I'm I feel like I'm waking up now, like I'm in my bed, and then my eyes are opening and I'm trying to pray. And I open my eyes, and and I'm on to my side. I'm like facing the my doors, like my the doors for my room. So I'm on my right side, and I still I feel it. I open my eyes and I feel it still squeezing me, and I can still see it on me. And by this time, I'm awake and I'm like battling, you know, those times where you can't even you can't even talk like you can't. So I but finally I guess I fully woke up and I was able to say in the name of Jesus, I said that, and then it just poof, like it left me. As soon as it left me, I got off the bed, like, but I don't know why, like Jasmine and then and Jojo came to my mind, and I ran, I ran to Jasmine's room, and she was I think she fell asleep listening to to Christian music, and then she was fine. She was, but okay, so this is a weird thing. I guess Joseph helped me get up, so he followed me, and I went with Jasmine and I looked at her. I I just pray over her and I left and I went to go check on Jojo, and he was fine. And then up my arm was like hurting and burning, like I could feel it. I even asked Joseph, like, check my arm, like check the back of my arm because it was like burning and hurting. And he's like, No, you don't have anything. And it took a while, like it was hurting a lot. And mind you, it you you could say, Oh, well, she was sleeping on it. No, I was sleeping on my other arm, but that's exactly where I was feeling like it was it was like squishing me.

So, anyways, um before I continue with this, so I don't know if uh the like this part that I'm about to mention uh made it into the recording or not, but I did kind of want to um mention it on here. So after um talking to my mom after this recording, or not after the recording, but after we had done this talking, something in my head was like, look up uh like the demon that they were uh talking about in the movie. Because in the movie you don't really ever see the demon, it's just like a face of a distorted woman. Okay, yeah, so um I looked up the name of the demon that was mentioned in the movie, and I just think that it's interesting that in a lot of these um like depictions of the demon, it's like a snake-like, kind of like scaly creature. Oh interesting. Yeah, so um it just made me think I was like, because in her dream, the demon that was like holding her back was uh reptilian, just actually like reptile, like reptile kind of. But um, the other thing that I found when I saw it, so I mean, like that it has a quick overview of this demon, and on the Catholic exorcism.org website uh for St. Michael Center for a spiritual renewal, um, they have uh an incident with this demon as well. Um, and one of the things that they mentioned I'm like so traumatized by that information. What? Lucy's possessed by possessed and being tortured nightly by the demon. They taunt her, mark her body with scratches and burns. Ew. Claim that they own her and often twist her bad leg, which is excruciating for her. So um the torment for this demon is to like grab and like cause pain where it like yeah, where it's grabbing. So I just thought that those were interesting because that that's what happened in her dream. And she uh at the time that we're like listening to this, she didn't know the like what demon it was. And like I should say, she never um saw the the preview to the movie or anything, so she didn't know what it was about or what was going on.

Uh I come to bed and then Joseph's like, What happened? So I'm telling him, I go I was fighting, but I could feel it had something to do with the movie, the praying, the all of that. So then I'm just telling him, and he even he panicked and he's like, you know what, just go to sleep or whatever you just go to sleep. But then he asked me, he's like, What was that music? And I'm like, What music? And he's all that music in the hallway, and I'm like, What are you talking about? He's like, I could hear the like the music you were playing. You know, I told you I put on Christian music before Jasmine. Gun.

He says he could hear that type of music. And I'm like, there was no music. And he's like, Yes, I heard it. He's like, when you went went to go check on Jasmine. What's weird though, I did ask Jazz, because I I didn't. I even listened and I'm like, I can't hear anything. He's like, I could hear it. What's so strange to me though is that because I asked Jasmine the next morning, I'm like, how did you fall asleep with her, Christian was like? He's like, yeah. Oh, did it stay on the whole night? And she's like, I don't know. I I think so. But what's so weird is that I couldn't hear it. Joseph could hear it. I could not hear it. Even when he told me, I'm like, I'm not hearing anything. I even went over there to Jasmine's room, and I'm like, he's like, I can hear it. I'm like, I cannot, I don't know why I could not hear it. Um, which that's weird. I don't I can't explain that. I don't understand it, but I can't explain that.

But um like they were like they were listening to it at the moment and you you weren't hearing it?

Yeah, I couldn't hear it. I'm like anything. And Joseph's like, how could he's like, you have better hearing than I do? I'm deaf. He's like, how can you not hear it and I'm hearing it? And I'm like, I don't I couldn't hear anything. I heard silence. I don't know why. I I honestly I don't understand that part. But so, anyways, but that I mean I did come from the jasmine, because I'm like, well, maybe there wasn't any music, but Jasmine did I remember telling her proto speak with your Christian music on, and she said she did.

I have chicken skin right now from that. So I don't know it, I don't know if this is exactly what she experienced, but I know that there was one time where I was mess I don't know if I was messing with something I shouldn't have been, but I was trying to see what was going on. Um, but I was trying to get myself in a dream state where I could like communicate with other things, and um I it was weird to me because when the when I tried that, wherever I was or whatever I was doing, like it was I was in my the same room that I was like laying in and stuff. The only thing was everything was more quiet than normal. Ew.

At that uh when I had that experience, it was weird because it was like everything had shut off, everything went quiet, but the only thing I could hear were footsteps walking back and forth in the hallway in front of my door. So that's the only time that I've experienced something where I'm like that there's noises, but everything just kind of goes deaf.

It's it is it's an easy feeling. It's like it gives that feeling of like uncanny valley, like you're not uh yeah, it's it's an uneasy feeling, and it kind of gives it like uncanny valley where it's like you're there, you know it's real, you're not scared of it, but at the same time, it's like something's just off.

But I don't know if it's last paper of the night or what. She couldn't, she stuck out on oh, I don't remember turning it off. So I don't know if it was on or if there wasn't, but I couldn't hear it. Only Joseph could hear.

So then and then anyway, so then Joseph and I are he was like hugging me, like he was kind of like looking at me, but like hugging me. And I start falling asleep. But um, mind you, I'm not scared, I'm more like um feeling um not angry, but like, yeah, like I need to be aware, you know, like I just need to pray. And then I fall asleep again, and in my in my dream, I'm I'm there where I'm at with Joseph, and all of a sudden I'll I'll see something reach over the side of my bed and it's trying to pull me off the bed. And I wake up and I do I'm telling Joseph, do you see it? Do you see it? And he's like, What? And I'm like, uh think I was dreaming. And he was like, Wow, I heard you're struggling, but it was like a whole night thing, like I was just dreaming these weird things, like that something was trying to like attack um and yeah, that was that, and actually, you know what? Yeah, that was the end of it. I woke up and I started, I just kept praying and praying and praying for the house and everybody, but um, it's been weird because lately the cat has been the only staying in our room. Like she sleeps here all night long.

Well, yesterday, and then the weird thing is the past two days, she's been even all throughout the day, she stays at the foot of my bed. Like she's just there at the foot of my bed. Wow. So yesterday I was feeling this happened. This happened with Jasmine. After she came? It must have been like on I don't know if it was from after she came from my channel before. But it's been a couple of days. Um Joseph's the one that he says he's been seeing things at the corner of his eye. Like the other day we're sitting in the living room, and then he's like, Did you go see that? And we're like, What? And he's like, and then at the same time, the water just like does a bubble. And he's like, I just saw something there, like there where the where the water thing is, and me and Jojo were like, Oh, and he's like, Man, that's been happening a lot, except I keep seeing things at the from the corner of my eye. Um, I haven't seen anything. So then last night, no, no, yesterday in the in the evening, in the it was still the afternoon. Um, I've been feeling sick, like very nauseous and stuff. Um I we feel frustrated because um uh there's a lot of stuff going on right now into the Dolores and she ended up spending the night here, and it became just a little bit frustrating. Um I wasn't feeling good and Joseph went to his mom's and I stayed here, but I was feeling kind of nauseous, but mad. I was feeling mad. And then I started falling asleep on the cows at the foot of the bed, and all of a sudden, out of nowhere, she's awake, don't think she's asleep. I could just see her little ears like she's looking around the room. And all of a sudden, she she jumps up and she faces, and she's like, it's weird, it's like she was attacking something on the bed. So I get up right away, and she she's looking at me confused. Like she I have never seen her behave that way. And she keeps looking at the bed, and then she looks at me, and she looks at the bed, and I'm like, what is it? But and then I thought, well, maybe there's a bug or a spider something got on there. So I start removing everything just like to shake it off, but I'm removing it carefully, and she would just like look. She was it's like she was helping me look on the bill. Um, but her eyes, they were like seeing like she was just like stunned or something. And it took her a while, like she was just looking everywhere, like just looking all around the bed, and then she gets off the bed, she's looking all around the room, and then she all of a sudden she just gets back on the bed and she lies there again. But I have never seen her normally she misses, it's very rare for her to miss, unless it's to a person, right? Like the grandpower, like she's hissed at you, you know, a couple of times, but never to a bug, never to uh nothing. Like she'll those are the only phones she uses. And so then, okay, so then Jojo was in the kitchen and he was making a margarita. So he had to blend her on it. And so it was uh right around that time when I the cat did that. So he's coming, and as he's coming, uh that's when I was looking under the like on the bed and I'm I'm up and I'm telling him, Hey, I'm like, just happened, and he's like, Oh he's like, Did you hear the door open? And I'm like, What? He's like, Yeah, right now that I have the blender on, I could have sworn. He's like, I heard the door, the front door open and closed, and I was expecting to see dad. He's like, I thought dad forgot something or um he hadn't left yet. He goes, but that's why I stopped the blender and I looked. He's like, but nobody was there. And even me, I'm like, well, whatever it was came through our door. Probably came all the way to my room. I don't know, attack the cat. I'm trying to piece it together. But yeah, just little ever since then, ever since the husband watched that movie, like weird little things have been happening. Like here at the house. But now that you tell me that you watched it, like was the bad. You know the funny thing is I can't remember too much of it. I do remember that part too when they started um chanting out the demon's name.

Just to give you guys some more information. Um, the person that's about to jump in and comment is uh Louie. Madame Lou Louie. Yeah, so Louis was one of the people that went to go watch the movie with us as well, and he was the main one that was like, they're breaking every rule that you shouldn't do. Yes. So he's gonna he's gonna mention some of those rules.

Can you tell me what you thought about the movie?

Um, okay, for one. If you can't pronounce something and you obviously know it's Latin, probably don't write it as long as you don't know what it is. Well, it's written as like a like something involved. Like you're gonna ever rule, you don't know. I was like, you don't write the room, and we're not gonna open the door, you're just leaving it open, and then you're feeding all, like why do you want feeding to stop? And the problem was like, you know what? Mama's gonna go, like you want to follow her, like she wants you to do one thing for her, but why do you want to do that? And the demon corrupted you so much that by the time you thought about your mom, you were going parable because she was part of the cult.

That's the scary part, is it in that movie? That's what the demon did. It was attacked the mothers.

That is what annoying. Yeah, that is weird. No, and and trust me, it kind of like why so it took me back to my grandma, Ellie Bert to grandma, but it took me back to her because I remember every time that we experienced something and she would go pray for us, the pattern was that she would, it it always happened, and she would call me and tell me that all night she was fighting over something that um um and she knew she would tell me it's because it's they're angry because I came to pray over you. So she would have this spiritual battle for a while um after praying for us, or even after praying for somebody who needed prayer. I I would, you know, later on in my life, I felt bad because I'm like, my gosh, my grandma really did battle through stuff because she would go pray, she would deliver, she would help even, you know, people that were possessed or whatever. And then she would take that home with her and battle. Um, you know, it was like a spiritual battle for her. But my grandma was never scared, she would be like that, like, oh, this dumb demon didn't let me say it was weird to hear, you know, but it took me back, it took me back to like, oh my gosh. But in me, I thought so I thought, I thought this I'm like, okay, maybe it's hungry because I prayed and I blessed the house, and you know, I didn't give it opportunity to whatever the intention was. But then something I kept trying to ask Jasmine, but she's been busy and I wanted to ask her exactly what the movie was about because I'm like, what is who was this? What was this demon? What was this thing? What was it doing? You know, yeah, like she didn't tell me everything.

Overthink it because when you overthink it, you're also inviting unknowing things, and you're all you're inviting like all like a different type of credits, and you gotta be careful because we bless the house a lot, but someone was so inviting unknowing.

Well, no, no, no, no, no, I don't know the movie, like the movie was kind of dumb. Like everything that they were they were kind of putting in there felt rushed, or like it didn't really make too much sense.

Um well no, no, but the the movie was basically that there was this demon.

Um, probably I forgot if it's like in a printer or if it's in a song or something. But when you it's pretty like the demon's name or something, it was one of those things. But the whole the the thing they put it together was a um it's a podcaster group. And then you would get sent these videos and then they're watching these videos, and it's about uh girl getting possessed in those videos.

Oh wow. So no, and and that's the thing that's what's saying, Thomas, you know, I've always understood for a very long time now, like you watch these movies and you wonder, like, where did these because some of them are so out there, but you think like, where did these ideas come from? You know, it's I think back in the day probably wasn't so bad, but I think somewhere along the way in Hollywood, like these ideas come from somewhere and they have a purpose. So I that's what I've always told like the kids, and I and I think I've told you, Ali Bird, like watch too, like be careful what you watch, because there's there's a purpose why they put these movies out there. There's there's like some twisted mind thought of making this into a movie, but there's something, you know. And what's so weird is that I did actually um the day after after all that happened, there was this this video on my feed of a pastor talking exactly he was like he was saying something like, these Christians who watch scary movies, they just they what is they like they astound me. Like, why? Why would you watch these things knowing very well that there's truth, there's something with these movies that you're opening doors. He was talking about that was the sermon, and I was like, uh like everything that was happening, but no, you know what? Now that you and I even told um Jojo, I'm like, you know what? I'm like, something's up. I go because I'm not feeling good. I go feeling frustrated, like I'm not my usual, like I I even had to start crying again because I'm like, I'm not my usual, just look past things and don't be upset, don't be but it it wasn't even just I'm frustrated, I'm upset. I'm I feel sick, you know, I was feeling sick. And then that happened with the clock. And I'm like, maybe I'm like, I'm like letting my guard down. I don't know, I just it just something felt off. But no, last night I prayed again and I'm like, and I got out of the bed. And luckily, my mom and my dad showed up. A nature and agent came to watch a movie, and he wanted to watch uh Hopper, that animation one. That it's like about hearing about everybody shows they like it.

That's ironic that that movie was playing at the same time that we were watching Undertone at the drive-in. Yeah, I just thought that was a weird synchronicity.

Yeah, so that was nice. That was a great, that was a cute movie. Um, so but yeah, it kind of got me out of my funk, but yeah, I'm like, oh I need to take a brain into that's so weird that after that, like Joseph, I don't feel anything, I haven't felt anything until yesterday. But Joseph was the one that kept saying, like, I keep seeing things at the corner of my eye, like Mam Steve I keep he's been getting a little scared. But yeah, that was that. So maybe, yeah, and I was gonna tell you, I was actually gonna probably be like, don't watch that movie too late or you watch it.

No, well, no, um, but yeah, so that was uh that was the gist of it. But one thing that I kind of no noticed right now too as I was listening to this, and I didn't uh yeah, so uh yeah, one of the things that I've noticed, um well, I was listening to the recording, but I didn't uh realize it at that point. And Chase, correct me if I'm wrong, but in the movie, wasn't everybody else, like the person that was actually being possessed, wasn't feeling anything, wasn't really seeing anything, but they were just like they felt like they were getting irritated or they seemed like they were getting irate easy. But then the other people were the ones that were like like the friend on the podcast, wasn't he the one that was able to like he was experiencing weird shit and he's like maybe we shouldn't keep doing this?

Yeah, and then uh in the recording that they were listening to with like uh the couple that was in it, the husband kept experiencing the weirdness, and the wife was just like, No, like that's just yeah, yeah, yeah.

But mainly because she seems to be the only one that like experiences it. But listening to her, I was like, She sounds like my mom.

It's like at some point, yeah, all of that sounded crazy to us, but once we started experiencing the same things, we're like, okay, maybe some things are not too crazy.
