Today on Conjuring Chaos we have a lot to unpack. We have 4 submissions that will blow. your. mind. First we start down in Texas with 2 different stories about disembodied footsteps today, we are starting to understand carpet a little more. We also have children ghosts making an unfortunate appearance in today's stories, which has Chase looking like a chicken in the package. Both of us were really excited to get the chance to read about some hauntings in Canada that are absolutely bone chilling! Todays crystal of the day is Chrysocolla, stay chaotic!
Don't be taking strangers from their candy. That's rude. It's disrespectful. Welcome to Conjuring Chaos. We're two witchy weirdos with microphones. I'm Chase, and this is my co-host Allie. And my tits are out right now.
SPEAKER_03And we're here to tell you something weird. Let's set the vibe. All right.
SPEAKER_02First, they're not.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_02Just wanted to clear that out. But everyone in our studio audience is not experiencing Allie's tits right now. Don set the puppet right next to me. Ooh.
SPEAKER_03Maybe we'll hear it off. Oh, please don't. Okay. Pull a finger, Allie. Oh, let's get our fingers up and our fucks down. And today's lucky number is 28.
SPEAKER_00Nice.
SPEAKER_03I don't have time for anyone's bullshit. That's true. Right now I don't have time for anybody's bullshit except my own.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, no, I I agree with that. I agree with that. I don't have time for any anyone's bullshit, which is why I had to teach them how to deal with their own bullshit. So let's go ahead and let's take our let's take our deep breath for the week.
SPEAKER_03Let's go ahead and take a deep breath in. And out.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, and still, even after a horrible car accident, your lungs are better than mine. That's because I couldn't go all the way. Oh, what's chaotic in your life, Allie?
SPEAKER_03Uh, well, like you mentioned earlier, I look like I got hit by a fucking car. I had some invasive surgery done recently.
SPEAKER_02Invasive is the is definitely a good word for it for sure.
SPEAKER_03So my body look is just all bruised up and I look like I got hit by a car.
SPEAKER_02But she's doing her best. I am. I'm starting to walk around more. It's great. And what's chaotic about my life right now is that I've been receiving calls from two extras a lot. Oh yeah. No, you know what? You know what is you know what's chaotic in my life? You know how I went to the Oddities Festival. We went to the Oddities Festival. Um while we were there, this group of three people like sat down at the table with us, right? And one of them walked away. And then like after she came back, she asked first thing she says is Body Dead stuff. I say, Yeah, I bought a lot of dead stuff and tea, which is also technically dead stuff. And they thought that was hilarious. But what was really funny is when we walked away, the lady picked up some of the candy that was on the table and put it into my bag and goes, I put some candy in your bag for you. And it was literally my favorite kind of gummy candy, the Coca-Cola flavored sodas. Yeah.
SPEAKER_03So that's cool. When they say don't take strangers from don't take candy from strangers. No, don't take strangers from candy.
SPEAKER_02Don't take strangers from candy. Don't be taking strangers from their candy. That's rude. Disrespectful.
SPEAKER_03The only time you can take candy from strangers is when you're in the oddities festival. Yeah, if you're buying dead shit and art. And art. It was beautiful. If you guys haven't had a chance to go to an oddities festival, I highly recommend it.
SPEAKER_02It's nice. It's fun. It's a fun time. Also, save up if you're gonna do that.
SPEAKER_03Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Especially if you have no impulse control, because I mean, I guess I can speak from experience. No impulse control. Oh, I can speak from just watching her. You know what's sad? Is that is with impulse control, is the worst part. That is with the control. Right. Exactly. I'm like, uh yeah, I can afford it. I can't stop yawning. Me either. Me either.
SPEAKER_03The sun is draining today. It is very draining.
SPEAKER_02Well, you know, we're finally getting sun after weeks upon weeks of rain, which I'm not trying to complain about the rain. I like the rain. I liked the clouds. It burns, the sun burns. I'm not complaining about the rain, and um, but I do want to say like it is nice to see the sunlight. Before we get started on this episode, do you uh you think you want to do some abstract advice in between stories?
SPEAKER_03Do you know what? I think today would be a good day for some abstract advice. Alright. Let's pick like three of them.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, there's four stories, so they'll fit nicely in between. Nice. What colors do you want?
SPEAKER_03Uh yellow. Yellow, I keep looking at.
SPEAKER_02Yellow. Oh, here's that's an orange. Oh, well. And then there's a yellow. There you go. Let's do yellow. Go for it. We're not ready to read them yet, so pick up. There you are. Okay, let me get you some more. There's one right there. Ooh. And here's another one right here. They just popped right on up. So the spirits are talking to us. The spirits like yellow. We have we have four submissions today. Nice. Yeah, it's kind of nice. I love doing listener stories. That's like the my favorite part. Me too. If we could do only listener stories all of the time, we absolutely would. We'd be thrilled to do that. But we don't get we don't get stories pretty much ever. Most of the time, it's ones that people tell me and I ask them if I can tell it on my podcast. And then like every now and then I get brave and like reach out to someone on Reddit after reading something. And then um sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don't. I've learned that if you comment, it works. However, I am worried that eventually they're gonna catch on and kick me off of those subreddits.
SPEAKER_03So we'll see. Uh uh, what is it? Do it now and apologize later?
SPEAKER_02Something like that. Yeah, something like that. Would uh ask for forgiveness instead of permission. Yeah, same.
SPEAKER_03That that could be an abstract advice.
SPEAKER_02It's probably it's probably in there, to be completely honest with you. That's a that's an Ali abstract advice, is what that is.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, no. If you have friends or if you know people that like telling their spooky stories, tell them to send it right on to us. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah, we need more stories anyways. So yeah, if we could have them all be to listen to episodes, we would. But unfortunately, uh, y'all are gonna end up having to listen to like a four-episode long report on the Loch Ness monster at some point this year. So uh if you don't want to have to listen to that, then you should send your story in.
SPEAKER_03Watch, we're gonna get like no story. Yeah, we're just gonna figure out the Loch Ness story.
SPEAKER_02We can get a bunch of emails like do the damn Loch Ness monster story. I would love that. And then I would email them back and I'd be like, only if you send me your story. Send me your ghost stories and I'll read the Lochness Monster for you. I'll even say your name on the I'll read you mine if you send me yours. I'm so itchy, so itchy lately. I don't know if it's the allergies or something that I ate. You know, I had that like allergic reaction when I was in Seattle.
SPEAKER_03And it's just lingering.
SPEAKER_02I think so because I still wake up and my throat's like not making saliva.
SPEAKER_03Ooh, it's weird. This is just a PSA. Wash your apples before you eat them. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. That's not an abstract advice. That's advice. Yeah, even if you're buying it from a market that you would think that they're gonna wash it because people are gonna do what I did and pick it up and eat it. Yeah, the lady gave me a weird look, so I'm pretty sure that I doomed my damn self.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah. I don't uh uh if I any fruit at a market, it's at a market. It's outside. You just someone could have sneezed on that shit, and I didn't even think about it. I just couldn't write it.
SPEAKER_02Oh, thank you. And I put it inside of my mouth.
SPEAKER_03That's one way to eat ass.
SPEAKER_02All right, Allie. You wanna you wanna tell us our our first submission? Hell yeah, let's get chaotic. Let's get chaotic. Oh, I need to make a sticker that says that. That'd be cool. In the font. Wait, I want to show you. Oh, he put my phone on the puppet. What the fuck, John? Uh look, I gotta show you this, okay?
SPEAKER_04Corn.
SPEAKER_02You drive by fields of corn on the way over here. I drove by two large ass fields of corn on the way over here.
SPEAKER_03It was cute. I like seeing the fields of corn and the fields of cotton.
unknownYeah.
SPEAKER_03I haven't grown any yet, but when they do. So, this first submission is from Gaston and I love that. Not the jerk from Beauty and the Beast, though. Don't love him.
SPEAKER_02Don't love him, though. That guy is a douch nugget.
SPEAKER_03So, Gaston says, I was staying at my sister's house one night visiting family. I was staying in her guest room a few doors down from her and her husband's room. Late in the night or early hours of the morning, I was woken up by an unmistakable sound of footsteps. It sounded like a child is running through my room, out the door, and down the hallway in the direction of her room. I pulled out my phone flashlight to look in my room and the hallway, but there was no one there. A few minutes later, I noticed their bedroom light turn on for a few minutes and then back off again. Great! So this ghost knows how to use light switches. That or w let's hope it was the humans in the room that did that. We're gonna find out. The next morning at breakfast, I heard them talking about how her husband was woken up super early in the morning, and I told them, Yeah, I heard footsteps in my room, and a few minutes later your lights turned on. Was everything okay? And they told me that what had woken him up was the sound of a little girl's voice talking in their room. Oh god, no, that's worse. It's worse than I thought. Weird that it happened so close to my experience. Maybe it was the same little girl. I don't know, but I don't stay at her house when I visit anymore. Y'all keep spooking on. Oh yeah. Uh I don't do ghost kids. I wouldn't stay at their house either. Yeah, no, ghost kids are ghosts are a little free.
SPEAKER_02Don't go there without your like protective stones and say something.
SPEAKER_03Oh my gosh. Prayers, all the prayers. I do wonder, maybe, maybe uh I mean, I don't know where this is, but I wonder if a little girl lived in that house at any point. It'd be interesting, uh well.
SPEAKER_02So um when I when I worked at this mechanic shop down in Comfort, Texas, I I experienced a little ghost girl, but I'm not a hundred percent sure she was actually a little girl. Um, she had black holes where her eyes were supposed to be. It was not a fun time. She I mean she never heard me, but um my boyfriend lived inside of the the there was like a room in there for like truckers, and he stayed there for a little while and he has some stories.
SPEAKER_03The only one that I had w involving a child was at the funeral home that I worked at, and everybody kept calling her Emily. And at first I was like, oh, they're just talking about like something, but there was, and I think I've told it before where we were eating in the oh yeah, yeah, in the break room, and then we heard uh like kids running around the freaking lobby.
SPEAKER_02Some parents let their ghost children roam free, get your handle on your ghost kids' parents. I think I said that last time too.
SPEAKER_03Dale shops through and tell real kids to I mean real parents that seriously, yeah, seriously.
SPEAKER_02There's one time this woman was letting her child like climb the product shelves at one of my salons, and granted, like the the at the time the salons product shelves were literally like mirror behind them, and then glass shelves that were like tucked into the mirror by like a little less than a half inch, a little more than a quarter inch. And so, like, she's her kids like standing on the freaking bottom shelf. And I look over and I was like, Oh no, honey, don't do that. Those are glass, it'll break, and I don't you could get hurt. And the mom looks up at me and goes, I'm watching him. And that's how we get ghost kids in the salon. It's exactly how you get ghost kids in the salon. Oh, I forgot to mention that when she said that she had to look up from the game she was playing on her phone to say it to me. Oh God looks back down at her phone, her kid lifts his leg, puts it on the second shelf, and then immediately all of the product from the shelf he's holding on to slides off of the shelf onto him, and she like looks up at me like it's my fault, and I'm like, woman I am literally like eight feet away from your kid. Don't look at me like I'm Matilda. I have Miss Honey as a teacher. She didn't teach me how to do mind tricks. Okay, your kid did that on his own. They couldn't hear the sip of tea that I just took. Hold on, hold on. Let me see if I can get the the straw just right. They might not have heard the sip, but they heard the cough. They heard the dying. Anyways, watch your kids, is all they're trying to say. Way cleaner, way better than my hacking job. I'm just gonna cut and paste that shit. All right, so this one, this one's one of those reddit ones I was telling you that I sometimes get lucky for. I'm just like leaning, leaning awkwardly. Let me just cuddle over to you. Okay, so this is from listen, I don't know how to say it. Capital T U D 13, Barry Allen. So I reached in, reached in, reached out to him then, and said, and asked, can I read your story? I do a podcast where we read stories, and I'm very interested in reading yours on my podcast. And they said, Please do. I love Reddit videos and podcasts, and I'm honored and tell viewers they are allowed to contact me if applicable. Nice. So it's an interesting one for sure. I got excited when I read it, and when he said yes, I was like, Bet. Okay, so it was titled A Completely New Area of Town spawned just for us to get lost in at midnight, and we haven't found it since.
SPEAKER_03Wow. Oh my God, I love this already. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02As soon as I saw it, I was like, I'm gonna end up reaching out to this person, so I'm just gonna get ready for the text now or the message now. One night back in high school, I was out with friends a completely normal night. The friend who was driving us drove all the time, and he knew his way around the town perfectly, and so did the rest of us because collectively we'd moved to different areas of town or changed schools throughout our lives, and we went places almost every day at some point. That night at almost midnight, we cruised around the basic neighborhoods, burning time until we had to be home. Suddenly, we were lost. Not just a turn on the wrong street into a path or a cut into some random alleyway, but lost. We found ourselves on this suburban street that we had no idea existed before this. We recognized none of the houses or street signs or anything. Okay, first of all, that is creepy as fuck. And I can understand how like like uncanny valley that would be, you know. Which already didn't even make sense because we we knew how to get everywhere and what the entire town looks like. We got to the end of the block thinking maybe we would recognize something, turn the corner and be on our way. But from then on, it was this completely random neighborhood. That's crazy.
SPEAKER_03They got into the back rooms of the neighborhoods.
SPEAKER_02That's what it right, that's what it sounds like. The street we stuck to was kind of on a slope, so we were just driving down this little slope. There were no street lights, there was a very dim lamp on one of the curbs, and a few houses had decorative porch lights and floodlights, but they were of no help. We could only see the sidewalk and the front of the houses when we were cruising right past them. The sky was pitch dark, with only the North Star and a couple stars in the distance. The blocks around this street didn't look familiar at all. The streets, including street names, were completely random. Either streets we'd never heard of or streets with extremely generic names. The area didn't even fit the vibe of the town. It was almost liminal, like it was the design of a non-specific neighboring town, but with the same air as our town.
SPEAKER_03Well, back in San Antonio they have this area where you go out, I think toward Portranco, and they have a whole neighborhood that they were building, and I guess they had to stop building because they ran out of money, and so it never opened up. But it's just a like it's a bunch of like neighborhoods and houses with nobody living in them. That's fucking wild. It's cool. I've always wanted to go through it.
SPEAKER_02We should go on a road trip. We joked about being lost, but really we were laughing from being genuinely scared and screwed not knowing how we were gonna get back home. You could have told us that we left town by accident and I wouldn't and I would believe it, even though it's extremely obvious when you leave my town because it requires taking the highway a very specific long road leading to towns that are 30 to 60 minutes away, or going on one of the bridges that have multiple signs. Multiple times right after this happened, two of the friends and I, or I alone, went around town in the daytime and nighttime, taking various turns in streets, trying to uncover where we had gotten absolutely lost. I tried again as an adult, have never found it. Have never found any of the streets or the street lamp or the same slope. Did we somehow leave town a little on a little path and somehow didn't know?
SPEAKER_03Ooh. I like this one. It's so I've been watching the the show from, and it's about people that drive into this town and you can't get out of the town. Oh my gosh. And there's like monsters and stuff that chase you around. But I'm I I've been so into like get like driving around and then ending up in a place that like doesn't exist like exists but doesn't exist. Right.
SPEAKER_02There's like out where I went to high school, there's this like background, and it's like the Stoder kids background, like everyone who ever just like cruised to cruise has gone down this road just for the hell of it. But like I had an ex that like lived down that road, and like you go down there, and then you would get like further down from where he lives, and eventually you would come to this place where it was like there was just this weird clearing, and then like you would walk into the clearing, and it was weird, like you could see it from the road, but once you were in it, you couldn't see the road, it was just trees all the way around you, and there was no cell phone reception, super fucking quiet, like you didn't hear any animals, there was no wind. It was really weird. Yeah, pocket dimension down, pocket dimension. Yep, precisely. Oh, I guess I should give you the next oh before we do that. We forgot to do one in between the other story. That's okay. We can do two right now.
SPEAKER_03So let's get into our abstract advice.
SPEAKER_01How does it go? Save our soul with some abstract advice.
SPEAKER_03Oh, I like this one. Collaboration is key. So CC accordingly. Change's note. CC like an email. Uh what? Took me a sec.
SPEAKER_02Oh not conjuring chaos accordingly. Oh, yeah, yeah. No, conjure chaos accordingly. They oh they mean to conjure the chaos accordingly. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah, for sure.
SPEAKER_03Actually, I think I like that. Collaboration is key, so conjure chaos accordingly. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02I mean, I know that they mean CC like when you send an email and you CC someone in so that they can, you know, see what's going on in the email. Lots of C going on. But I I think conjure chaos accordingly is that's appropriate. It's appropriate. Also matches the theme of the podcast.
SPEAKER_04Yes.
SPEAKER_02And for speaking of email, if you have any stories that you want to share with us, or maybe you don't want to share with us, but I'm gonna bully you into it. Do it anyway. Share your stories with us. We want to read your ghost stories and alien stories and cryptid stories and weird stories and true crime stories. Tell me about your black eye kids. Anything, little tiny story that you think we're not gonna be interested in. Trust me, we have opinions. That's why I was a kid. Not that kind of black eye. We have opinions. That's why I bought a microphone and a laptop. So send me your stories. CCS into that email.
SPEAKER_03I like this one because it also starts with a C. Uh, consistency is overrated. Surprise everyone, including you. That's how I live my life. Same it makes it more interesting. It it really does. It does. I think it's pretty boring.
SPEAKER_02But it's also fucking wild and weird. If you make it It is life is weird.
SPEAKER_03There's some people that just choose to ignore the weirdness and they want a very bland life. Yeah, I I choose to enjoy the weirdness. Same.
SPEAKER_02I lean into it. Yeah, that's why we talk about this shit. So tell us about Jonathan. Yes. This is from Jonathan M from Texas.
SPEAKER_03M is the gender. Oh! This is from Jonathan, a male from Texas. All this time. Alright. I keep uh I keep doing that. One night we were having a family night and we were all in the living room together. All of a sudden, my cousin started freaking out because we could all hear footsteps coming from the kitchen, but everyone was in the living room with us. It sounded like someone running through the kitchen. No.
SPEAKER_02No, it didn't.
SPEAKER_03Don't tell me that, Jonathan. I don't want to hear that.
SPEAKER_02Don't tell me that, Jonathan. You're gonna make me look like a chicken jacket.
SPEAKER_03There's probably more children running around.
SPEAKER_02That's exactly why I said no.
unknownNo.
SPEAKER_03When we went to go look, no one was in the house but us, and the doors were still locked. No, thank you. So I I like these. It's nice when everybody else can share the experience of something creepy going on. Because then you don't sound crazy when you talk about it later on. Exactly. Exactly. Wait.
SPEAKER_02Before you read the next story, we have our other little yellow card. Oh my goodness, is that why you picked yellow? No. Was it subconscious? I just realized it because you're picking it up now. Wowza. Okay, so Allie, why was Cinderella thrown off the basketball team?
SPEAKER_03Oh god, I don't know.
SPEAKER_02Because she ran away from the ball. Oh god. Yeah, that one did bomb.
SPEAKER_03Especially since we were just looking at the pictures of the uh the sunset where the sun is whatever, whoever skin exploded is Oh my god.
SPEAKER_02I genuinely thought that was a picture of the sun with like three clouds in front of it. I was like, oh, that's a really beautiful picture of the sun. No, Chase. That's a mushroom cloud. That is a two million dollar mushroom cloud, is what the fuck that is. Oh, thank you. Thank you, John. So much. How did I give myself all the long ones?
SPEAKER_03Oh my god, I just read where this is coming from.
SPEAKER_02I know, right? This is Kathleen, a female from freaking Canada. Woohoo! So if Canada will send me maple syrup. That's not the end of my sandwich, but okay. So if Canada will send us stories, like come on, come on.
SPEAKER_03Come on, America.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. And other countries as well. But like, thank you, Canada. Thank you for supporting the show, Kathleen from Canada. You're a beautiful, wonderful woman. I actually don't know if that's true, but I hope it is. So I mean it says female, so they're definitely a woman. Well, I know that part. Oh, okay. I'm talking about the wonderful part. I know she's beautiful because all women are beautiful, but so yes. And don't deny it, be. Anyways. Before I start getting too creepy with our customer, with our fans. Um, okay, so hello and thank you for being open to sharing the experiences. I live on a daily basis. Oh, wow. Yep. Okay, so I live in a small town in Canada. I experience things inside my home, outside, and even as far as the highway coming into town the town. What? Oh. Here's the thing.
SPEAKER_00I already forgot everything that I read in this story beforehand when I was vetting it.
SPEAKER_03That's funny. I like how the first and second story were about kids, and uh I don't know if this one's about like driving through town, but um the other one just ended with driving through town.
SPEAKER_02We don't even know if the other one was about kids, we just know it's uh footsteps. Oh yeah. So footsteps and driving is what we're covering today. I guess we've got to go to conjuring chaos where you learn about footsteps and driving. Stupid. Okay, anyways. Perhaps that is the best way to start. The highway. It is said that in 1989, when the slaughter plant was just opened down the road, that got dark quick. There was a truck transporting the cattle that never was able to complete the delivery because it had a horrible crash, resulting in no survivors, animal or human. First of all, the animals were not surviving, anyways. I'm sorry for you. Yeah.
SPEAKER_01So just wanted to point that out.
SPEAKER_02Um, because I'm an awkward bitch. Anyways, uh I can't personally say it is a fact, but I would definitely it would definitely explain the ghost truck myself and others have seen in the morning hours that vanishes once it pulls up to the gates of its longed-for destination. Oh wow. Ghost trucks.
SPEAKER_03I I don't mind ghost trucks. Oh, I wonder that's if a ghost truck is like heading toward you, like head-on. I know most people are gonna like swerve out of the way to miss it, but if it was a ghost truck and you didn't swerve out of the way, it depends. It depends, I think. Can a truck can a ghost truck be corporeal?
SPEAKER_02That's what it's so funny. I was about to ask if it was corporeal or not. Oh, anyways, okay, okay. I've also seen what we call road jumpers. I'm not sure if there's a name for them, so perhaps if there is, someone could possibly let me know. They appear in the morning hours and at dusk when the sun is about to set for the night. They seem like people standing or walking by the side of the road until you get close enough that they leap towards your car, disappearing in the road. Oh god. What the fuck? Canada has some interesting ghosts. I've never heard of that in my life. That is terrifying, Kathleen. Don't live there anymore. It sounds dangerous and terrifying. How many accidents do they cause? That's a question. It's a good one, too.
SPEAKER_03Oh my goodness. Okay. Insurance over there covers ghost jumpers. Road jumpers. Road jumpers.
SPEAKER_02Do you think Flo would let me negotiate that with my name your price tool? Oh, I like that one. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Now we get closer to home. Very close, in fact, that it happens across the street from my house. We have a small man-made river with a bridge that crosses it in the middle of a big field. Some nights we can clearly see a woman in a white dress emerge from the water, walk through the field, cross the street, and proceed to walk between the house I live in and our neighbors just to disappear. I don't like that sentence at all.
SPEAKER_03At least all of these are disappearing.
SPEAKER_02Yeah. Yeah, I mean, that's a good point. When my daughter was very young, we were playing in the field during the day, about to go for a walk, when she pointed at the water and looked at me, asking if she could play with the woman in the water.
SPEAKER_03Oh God, no. We've seen we have, haven't we?
SPEAKER_02We had never talked about what we saw in front of the kids so that we didn't scare them. When my daughter asked me that, my heart raced and I couldn't get my kids away from that water fast enough, telling my daughter she is never to play in that water. I don't blame you at all.
SPEAKER_03Have you guys seen the episode of Courage as a cowardly dog when that lady just beckons you into the puddle?
SPEAKER_02Yes. I know exactly what you're talking about. Yep. Yep. And she's got that like that voice. It's all like uh ethereal, if if that makes sense. Yeah. Oh my goodness. I have more experiences to share next time if these are enjoyed. I would be happy to hear it read out loud for others and to see what they think as well. Thank you again for the opportunity.
SPEAKER_03Oh yes, thank you for those stories. I am happy to hear about the ghosts from Canada.
SPEAKER_02Absolutely. Kathleen, send us more of your stories about the ghosts from Canada because they're fucking terrifying and we like being scared.
SPEAKER_03You know what I was just thinking about it? They do seem more polite than the ghosts in America. Yeah, they just walk around and disappear.
SPEAKER_02Whereas the ones in America like pull your hair and knock shit off tables and flush your toilet. Run around the damn house and turn on all your damn all your lights. Seriously. Well, I think the light turning on was the humans.
SPEAKER_01Because they yeah, but I think that um still like those children are disrespectful. Let me get my sleep. Do you know what would have happened to me as a child if I was running around at that time in the morning? I'll I would have gotten my butts, baby.
SPEAKER_02Ghost parrots. Spank your damn ghost kids. I'm kidding. I'm kidding. Don't abuse children. Abuse children. Discipline.
SPEAKER_03Discipline your kids. Oh, yeah. Love our last piece of abstract advice. Hard work pays off eventually. Lazy not laziness pays off now. Amen.
unknownI don't like that.
SPEAKER_03I like being lazy.
SPEAKER_02So do I. So do I. But I also like paying my bills. So actually, okay, correction. I don't like paying my bills. I just like not being broke.
SPEAKER_03You like being able to pay.
SPEAKER_02And having a good place to live, you know? Like I don't think I could do that without paying the bills. Yeah. Under a bridge doesn't sound like fun. Nope. Well. I love how Allie's the one who's considering homelessness might be a good idea.
SPEAKER_03I've always considered that it would be a good idea, but everybody around me prefers me not to be homeless. So I try not to be.
SPEAKER_02It's very pretty. Um, I don't know what to expect this to be. Maybe some kind of jasper. I know I said like the last four rocks look like Chrysocola, but this almost looks like Chrysocola. It looks like peacock ore. There's a few things that it could be. That it could be. And I it is very pretty. Anyways. So it's like a turquoisey color. I was gonna say it looks like dendrites. Dendrites. Those the those little black liney things that look kind of um lightning-y. And then there's like uh there's like a teal color through it. There's like some reddish-brownish colors. It's it's very pretty. It looks almost like the ocean.
SPEAKER_00Let's see.
SPEAKER_02Chrysocola. Oh no! Wow. The one time that I'm like, oh, I know I've said this a few times that that's what it looks like, but I don't know. It is the actual stone that I thought it was. I love Chrysocola. This is one of my favorite stones. It's just so pretty. It has so many, so much depth to it. Like this is this picture is very recognizable, but like it also does not do justice. Doesn't do it justice. Yeah, yeah. It is a very pretty stone. It's one of my favorites, just because of how it looks. So now I'm gonna actually like learn what it's good for because I always assumed it's blue, which means it's good for calming. So um, Chrysocola. Chrysocola forms near copper or deposits, hence its wavy blue-green swirls left behind by the oxidized metal. Like other materials associated with copper, think telephone wires. Chrysocola opens up channels of clear communication. That's right. It's one of the ones that's good for communicating with ghost disease.
SPEAKER_03That's cool. Yep. Maybe that's why you wanted the other ones to be.
SPEAKER_02Maybe Chrysocola's so bad. Well, so like I also know that it's one that's good for like when you're trying to like be within the veil.
SPEAKER_00Ooh. Yeah.
SPEAKER_02Who needs it? Anyone entangled in the 24-7 fear cycle propagated by the what? By the pol pol politic politico media. Not political.
SPEAKER_03Politico is what it's talking about, maybe. Let me see.
SPEAKER_02I'm gonna look up politico because that's well no, I think it's one word and it's hyphenated.
SPEAKER_03So politico is just uh an influential um digital news company. Okay, I'm gonna reread that. I think it is, it's being influenced because it says propagate propagand propaganda.
SPEAKER_02All right, and who needs it? Anyone entangled in the 20s 24-7 fear cycle propagated by by the political media complex, those who can never find the right words, and this is politico, not political.
SPEAKER_03I'm almost positive is because it's propaganda and political news. Probably that causes fear into everybody in stress.
SPEAKER_02Those who can never find the right words, though. That is me. Words are hard.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, you know what? We're having a hard time describing this right now.
SPEAKER_02That's irony at its best. Where to put it? Hold it, what? Hold it to your high heart and breathe. Okay. So you have to get stoned. I love that we got the same thing out of that sentence. So get stoned, put rock on collarbone. And breathe. And go and out. Surprise, motherfucker. Uh, when to use it when you feel small and vulnerable and are looking for someone to parent you, but then you remember that you are a grown-up. But it's cool because you totally got this. I love the motto for this one. It's be your own mama. Yep, I need your mama. Yep. That's that's actually good advice. But yeah, uh, that's Chrysocola. It's so pretty. If you've never seen it before, look it up.
SPEAKER_03I want to drink it.
SPEAKER_02It's got two L's though, so it comes, it sounds like a disease. Oh, yeah, no, that's that's like cholera. It sounds like a digestive problem, right? Chrysokola. It will give you digestive problems if you eat it. Yeah, there's copper in it, so it's toxic.
SPEAKER_03Oh yeah.
SPEAKER_02That's very pretty. It is and it helps you talk to the ghostesses and spirituses. And stay away from politics. And stay away from that's good for anybody, honestly.
