In this episode, we’re talking about what surrender really looks like and how to stay the course when life is still life-ing. A lot of people think that once you give your life to Christ, everything suddenly gets easier but that’s far from the truth. Jesus actually tells us in John 16:33 that we will face trouble, but to take heart because He’s already overcome the world. He also reminds us in Matthew 11:30 that His yoke is easy and His burden is light. Surrendering isn’t about having it all figured out, it’s about handing our burdens over to God and allowing Him to shape us. It’s the process of letting go of who we used to be so we can become who God created us to be.
