Think of it like chatting with a trusted friend who’s been there too — someone who reminds you that you’ve got this, and you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

As this year comes to a close, I wanted to share an episode that gets to the heart of why this podcast exists.
Real change doesn’t start out there. It starts inside.
In this episode, I talk about the importance of doing our own inner work — noticing the stories we carry, especially from earlier in life, and choosing to engage with them instead of letting them quietly run the show.
I share what has helped me most over the past several years, including therapy, learning to separate facts from old fears, identifying my values, and understanding that other people’s behavior is often about their own pain — not ours.
We talk about:
- Why awareness is the first step to real change
- How old patterns can show up in our reactions today
- The power of slowing down when we feel triggered
- Letting go of what isn’t ours to carry
- Building a bench of resources that support growth
I also leave you with a few gentle reflection questions you can carry with you — no pressure to fix anything, just an invitation to notice.
This is a grounding, honest episode to help you close the year with more clarity, compassion, and intention.
