When a restaurant is not just about outstanding food, but also an incredible experience, visit Burns Steak House in 10 minutes. Eat, play, stay. And this is a new series as part of Inspired Travels with Patti. Welcome to the podcast and YouTube channel. If you are new here, I created these channels to inspire you to live life more fully, and that is through adventure, new experiences, incredible places, and meeting amazing people. Today during this new series, I'm talking about Bern's Steak House in Tampa, Florida. From the time you walk in the door, the atmosphere is elegant and welcoming. The staff makes you feel like you're at home. there are eight uniquely decorated dining rooms for you to enjoy either a meal with that special someone or anywhere from a small to a large group of people. They have the highest standards of food and service that I have seen in a long time. The food is absolutely outstanding, and then we went behind the scenes. So let's break it down. Let's talk about the food. We had a sorta set menu where you had choices, and there was everything from an appetizer to a soup and a salad with different choices, your main meal, sides with those meals. They had extra sides that were brought out, including macaroni and cheese with lobster on it, and I could go on and on about the incredible food, the service that, again, I'm gonna say was absolutely over the top. If you're listening on the podcast, I suggest you go to the YouTube channel to see pictures of all the things that I was able to take pictures of. But the food's not the end of it. This place, as I said, is truly an experience. They have one of the largest private wine collections in the world. They have over 150,000 bottles of wines on site with more in storage, featuring rare and vintage wines. Some of the wines date back to the 18th century. I have never seen anything like it in my life. You can also schedule a tour. The tour not only took us to the wine cellar, which I would say is the highlight of this experience, but it took us through the kitchen where there are some 150 people on staff at any given time. This was one of the most amazing kitchens I have ever seen. You are allowed to take pictures of the wine cellar and the kitchen. You're not allowed to take video. So I hope I got enough pictures to really give you an idea of what this looked like, what this experience was. After our tour, we were brought back to our dining area where we were served dessert, and there were probably five or six or seven choices for desserts. Of course, I chose a chocolate cake, and it was just mouthwatering. And as I'm talking about it, I am getting hungry and wanna go back to this steakhouse and experience this all over again. Now, as part of one of the things you could do at Bern's Steak House is the private dessert room, and this dessert room, I am told, is something to be experienced. We did not, as a group, go to the dessert room. I don't have any pictures, but just so you know, when you go to Bern's Steak House, this is something else that you can add on. Bern's Steak House motto is, and I don't wanna get this wrong, so I'm gonna look at it, "A taste of excellence, an experience to remember." And it truly was a taste of excellence and an experience to remember, and I wanted to bring this to you on Visit Bern's Steak House in 10 Minutes, Eat, Play, Stay.
