Investiture of the Gods——Death of Jiang Ziya
Jiang-Zi-Ya made his way back, someone behind him suddenly shouted his name.
So who was this person calling him from behind? Let’s continue the story.
Jiang-Zi-Ya reached Qilin Cliff when he heard the shout: “Jiang-Zi-Ya!” He remembered his master’s warning—no matter who called, he must not respond. So he pretended not to hear, kept walking, even prepared to slip away with earth magic. But the caller grew impatient, calling out again: “Jiang-Zi-Ya! Jiang Prime Minister!”
After several unanswered calls, the voice finally said: “Jiang-Zi-Ya! You’ve become a great official now, and you ignore me? Don’t you remember, we studied together in the Jade Void Palace for forty years? And today you won’t even answer me once?”
