You can manifest things for your business literally in just a few hours. Or maybe a weekend or a week. But it is so, so fast. And yet, from time to time you wonder why can't I manifest love? Why is it this huge thing that I can't seem to be able to manifest? This isn't because there is something wrong with you. This isn't because it's not meant for you. Welcome to Shift and Receive. I'm Alexandra Belrose, your host, hypnotherapist, and EFT tapping expert. I specialise in all things love, subconscious rewiring, and manifesting the amazing relationship and life you've always dreamed of. Let's get into it. Hi guys! So today I want to talk about this topic about how as an entrepreneur or a successful person you seem to be able to manifest everything except love. As an entrepreneur, I have had this conversation so many times and I have lived it as well. So I know this topic so well. And it is something that no one really talks about because when you are an entrepreneur, your focus is on being an entrepreneur. It becomes like your personality. Everything that you do is for your business. Every investment that you make is for your business. The people that you have around you tend to be around your business as well. You go to retreats, you go to events, networking events, your friends, everything is around that business. And when it is your career, this is the same, right? Your friends become people that you work with, you go to networking events, you work after hours, you go for drinks with your colleagues, you have networking events, etc. A lot tends to be for your ambition around career or your business. And because you are listening here, I know that you have also done work on yourself. You know mindset work and taking care of yourself and self-love, and you know about manifesting, and you have applied those things to getting more clients, to get in a promotion, to getting more opportunities to being able to speak on stages and all those types of things. And you are so good at it. You know that you are so good at it. You can manifest things for your business literally in just a few hours, or maybe a weekend or a week, but it is so so fast. And yet, from time to time you wonder why can't I manifest love? Why is it this huge thing that I can't seem to be able to manifest? This isn't because there is something wrong with you, this isn't because it's not meant for you, but I'm gonna go into more detail about this. So you know that you are successful, and success looks different for everybody, but you know that you are doing something well that you're passionate about that really lights you up and it is going well, and you're focusing on it. You know how to do that. And whether you are in a very aligned business, when you are building your business and growing your business, that is always going to be a masculine energy. There are going to be moments of hustle, there are going to be moments where you really have to be in that masculine energy where you are selling, where you are pitching yourself or meeting people in networking events, for public speaking, anything, that is going to be a masculine energy. Even when you are manifesting and you know about manifestation, so you know about rest and you know about how to manifest those things, but you still have a very specific strategy to make that thing happen. Yes, maybe you have to surrender it to the universe, but you still have a strategy. So when it comes to manifesting love, your subconscious already knows, well, to manifest everything else, we've had to do X, Y, Z, and it had to be like this, and there was a strategy, so now we need to do the same thing. So you approach manifesting love with the same masculine energy as everything else. And I see this with people then going on a million dates, which then leads to burnout and to then having a much higher possibility of dating men that are not aligned, that are not good, that are not what you want. And then that starts creating a belief about well, men just really suck. And the same way that trying to do a million things in your business leads to burnout, going on a million dates just because you believe that dating and finding love is a numbers game is also going to lead to burnout. And then you take some time to recover and you numb by focusing on your business, and then a year goes by and you still are single and wondering, why am I still single? Something that I also really see a lot is that society has made us believe that our worth is based on our success. So then you start making these rules and these beliefs in your head that you need to have X before you can find love. And this can be your business hitting six figures, or be at the next level in your career, have the next promotion, or have enough savings because when you finally meet the person, you're gonna want to have a wedding and you don't want to have a basic wedding, you want to have your dream wedding, so you need to be saving. So then you postpone it until that point. But then when you reach that point, you reach that goal, you think, well, I might as well just go for the next goal because now you're on a roll, you feel good, you feel ecstatic about how things are going with your business and your career. And you've just been, again, numbing yourself instead of focusing on the one thing that you actually really, really want. Of course, you want your business to succeed, you have passions and you want to change the world, and that is so satisfying, but you also want to find that partner to share all of those wins with, to go traveling with, to share that success with, that partner that is going to make life so much more exciting. But you also know manifestation, and I have talked about that masculine energy in your business and in your career, but there is also something that as entrepreneurs or business owners or just ambitious career people, you have to remember that the universe hates empty space. Whenever there is empty space, the universe is going to fill it up with something. And here I want to be very clear, it's not just a something random. The universe always fills that space with what you believe. You can only manifest what you believe. So then those empty spaces will start filling up with the things that you're focusing on in that moment, such as your work. So maybe you will get a new client or you will be invited to a new event or a new training because you are ambitious, because you believe that I am doing so well in my business or in my career, and therefore I need to take it to the next level. But you need to have that space to be able to welcome someone in. And this is a fear that I also see in so many women that have the business, that have careers, is that fear that, well, when I meet someone, they're going to take so much time that then everything else is going to drop off. But that leads me to my point here is that you know about yourself. You have worked on yourself, you know that you are worthy of love, but you are blocking it because part of you doesn't believe that she can be loved just for exactly who she is right now, but also is because a part of you doesn't know how to do it, how to be able to have both at the same time. The amazing business or career and the amazing relationship, how to be a healthy masculine in your business and a healthy feminine in your relationship. That part of you doesn't know how to just exhale, how to receive, how to manifest love from a feminine energy rather than just the doing. How to be magnetic in love and not just in your business or in your career. And maybe there is even a belief that you can't find love anywhere without having a strategy. That that is why you need to be on all the dating apps, that you need to do things specifically, go on a million dates, that the first date has to be this, and then the second this, and then the third this, and you ask these types of questions. Manifesting love can be so much easier when you finally rewire your subconscious to believe that you can have that. Not because you have a successful business, or not because you have followed a strategy, but just because it is something that you want and you can have. But once you believe that, you also have to be able to embody it, to know how to show up for it. Because if you show up the exact same way that you have done in the past, you're gonna keep attracting the same type of person and the same type of relationship. If you want to have the healthy, incredible relationship you've always wanted that matches the rest of your life, the success in your business, the happiness with your friends, your network, how incredible your life is, you have to first, and this is going to sound so cheesy, but you have to shift and receive. And you do that by rewiring your subconscious, changing those beliefs, and showing up differently. Because now you have changed those subconscious patterns, and then you can show up differently. So then the results are different, and then you can have your whole amazing life in every area of your life. Thank you so much for listening to this episode.
