Well, good afternoon, everybody. And my guest is upside down. Praise the Lord. I have a very special guest today, and I'm so excited to hear his story and what the Lord actually did in his life. Now, this gentleman's name is Kevin Hill. And believe it or not, I have never met Kevin before. And today is the first day that I'm actually going to speak to him about the life-transforming, the miracle that God did in his life. And it's amazing that God is able to do extremely abundantly above and beyond all that we can ever ask or think. But I'm just going to turn my gaze right now to Kevin because his camera is somewhat upside down. So, Kevin, we need you to come the right way up. I'm not sure how we can do that. There we go. Powerful, wonderful. Praise the Lord. So I'm going to ask Kevin to pray for this episode. And remember, ladies and gentlemen, let's talk about healing has started. My name is Israel, and we need you guys to be sharing, okay? Share, share, share, because what we are going to hear today is an amazing, extraordinary testimony, literally, about who Jesus Christ is and the power when we talk about the resurrection power of Christ. We are going to be hearing that today as we are talking to Kevin. So, Kevin, I'm going to just hand over to you for you to pray for everybody who's going to be watching and those who will be watching in the future and what you know what God did in your life and whatever, just pray as the Holy Spirit leads you.

Okay. Father God, thank you that we are called children of God and we are full of your power. So I pray, Father, that you will anoint me as I speak, that you will touch people's hearts, and that you will touch their hearts so that they will believe again and again that you are a miracle working, God. You have the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. So just bless each one as they listen and hear, and not just listen to my story, but hear about who you are at this time. As I said, my guest today is Kevin Hill. He's a co-pastor of a church in Doncaster, and he also has his own ministry that he that God has given him. Kevin, do you want to tell us a little bit about yourself and then we can dive into the juicy part of your story and the reason why you are here on Let's Talk About Healing?

Yeah. When I before I was a Christian, I was I was I had I had two parts. So one part was very powerful because I was involved in the martial arts, karate, akido, jujitsu, tai chi, and I had a lot of power with that. But on the other side, I was very broken. My dad died when I was five, my mom died when I was 16, and I was bullied at school, and lots of rejection, lots of pain. So I had this mix, you know, two two two different worlds. And then when I was 17, I'm from UK, I'm from the UK, by the way. I'm I'm in the UK. Billy Graham came to came to Sheffield in the UK a few years ago. I was 17. And I'd never heard of any anything. I didn't know who he was. I didn't know what he was talking about. But he talked about God and how God had changed can can can change my life because he died on this. And this was like, wow. I only went allow myself. Nobody took me, nobody invited me. Just I wanted to find out. But it was so strong. I I I had to respond. I've got to respond, got to respond. So I went forward and became a Christian. And it was the first time in my life I felt completely loved. I was accepted, and this is where I belonged. And then from there, a few weeks later, God filled me with the Holy Spirit and baptized me. I was baptized in water as well the same day. And God just, I was a scrambled egg. I was a mess. Wow. But God healed me, put me back together, you know, made me into a new person and gave me purpose, gave me direction. And then I went to Taiwan for 10 years in 1998 to 2008. Taiwan as a missionary, teaching there, teaching English over there, but being a missionary as well. Wow. I got found my my wife there, and three of my four children were born over there. Wow. And we came back as a family to the UK in 2020, and just been serving God since then.

Now, you know, I'm even I'm even afraid to start your story with kind of like a very holy fear about about what you are going to tell us and what we are going to hear, because just from what you described briefly when you when you when you kind of like wrote to me about you know coming on to let's talk about healing, you had a condition in 2021. Let's start from there. 2021, something happened to you, and you ended up in hospital, you ended up with a with a condition known as calichylaxis.

I was like, uh calichylaxis, calciophylaxis, calically.

Calciphylaxis. That's where that's it. That's it, calciphylaxis. And when you listen to it, it almost sounds like a very horrible thing, you know, for those of you who are listening. Can I just ask you to share? This is this is gonna be a mind-blowing testimony that you are gonna hear, you know, share the YouTube link, share the Facebook link. And good afternoon to you, Mark Ian Brislin, praise the Lord. And Victoria Shepard watching from Kent, glory to God, and Trina Dalton watching from MB Canada, praise God, praise God, praise God. Thank you, Jesus. So take us from there. You started off with your legs swelling. What was the thought that came into your legs? Because I mean into your mind, because I'm thinking swelling, can't walk, can't breathe. I'm thinking DVT, but obviously that was not the case.

No, it all began one dark and stormy night.

So in in 2021, my legs started to swell and getting painful, and my breathing became labored, and it was hard to breathe. And I went to the in the UK, we say A E, accident and emergency. Some places say our emergency room. So I went there five times, and they turned me away. This is over a few months, and they turned me away. You're not sick, you're okay. And I'm getting worse and worse, could hardly walk, could hardly breathe, you know, a lot of pain. And they refused to treat me or see me. And we in the UK, we have a walk-in center, which is it's not a doctor's and it's not a hospital, it's kind of in between. And I went there and they just looked at me like, we can't deal with you, you're complicated. It's like, oh, okay. And but I got a I got an appointment with the heart specialist. So I I shuffled into the into the room, sat down on the chair, they took one look at my legs, and which by this time they were three times of what they should have been.

Oh my goodness.

Extremely painful and difficult to breathe. My legs were just like waterfalls, you know, just rivers coming off, and you know, I had nowhere else to go. And they said, they took what you're in hospital today, now. And and they admitted me into the hospital. They said, Do you have a bag? No, I wasn't expecting, I wasn't expecting to come to hospital and stay. Because I've been turned around turned away before. So they admitted me into hospital, and that began my hospital stay of one whole year.

Wow, it is like 365 days in the hospital without being discharged. Yes. Wow. Okay, that's it. Some of us get admitted for three days, and we can't wait to jump out. Five days is a long time.

Yeah, it's it is horrendous, and most of that because of the condition, and I'll explain it in a bit, but most of that time I was bedbound as well, so I couldn't even get out of bed. Wow. And yeah, it was and and again, most of the time I was in my own room as well, right? Um, because I was so severe. So I I had to, they told me I had problems with my heart valve, and I needed my heart valve replacing, but I need to lose all this water retention, all this water before they do the operation. And uh I I lost 65 kg more of just water weight. Wow. My wife doesn't even weigh 65 kg. Wow, I should be ripped, shouldn't I? She'd be like, Yeah, you should be. And I'm just like, wow. Wow. So then so I I was in two hospitals, I was transferred between, but I was basically I was in a hospital for the whole year. So one was the heart hospital, and one was my local hospital. The heart hospital gave me sepsis.

And then they sent me back to my hospital. Like, okay, you deal with them. You know, we don't want to deal with it.

What what what were you? I mean, as a Christian, what were you, what was your conversation like with God at this particular time? What were you saying to the Lord? Because you know, we we we believe in healing. We are we we we know God is able to heal us, but I'm trying to think you are it's it's like an endless, okay, fine, one week in hospital. Now I'm in my second week, now I'm in my third. Uh, this is the fourth, this is two months later. What what what where is your heart posture right now with Jesus? What are you thinking?

Uh uh this at this stage, I was asking God a lot of questions. Why, not so much why this is happening to me, but it's like, what's going on? You know, why is it taking so long to sort this out? And with the sepsis, as I said, they sent me back to my local uh hospital, and they basically sent me back to die. They sent me there, and I'm like, God, they've sent me here to die. Because I've got really good earrings, and I'm in I was in my room, like the doctors stood outside talking about their patients, and I heard my name, so I'm listening okay, okay. And then they mentioned, oh, Kevin Hill, sepsis, da da da da. And to be honest, I didn't really know what sepsis was at that point.

And then, you know, so I talked to them, I said, you know, is this right? Went a bit later, the doctor came in and they said, Yeah, you've got sepsis. And I looked it up and I was like, What? Basically, my body was shutting down, my whole body was just, you know, shutting down and dying. And it was very severe. It wasn't just a little bit of sepsis, it was a very severe case of sepsis. Wow. And I'm like, why did they send me back to die? Why did they not deal with it? Why why did they not want to do with something? And my heart was like, I thought, God, I don't understand what's happening. Why is all this? And also, what I I when I I had then my my wife was praying and and and she spent a lot of time talking to the hospital staff and the doctors, and we got we we convinced them to take me back to do my heart valve replacement because they said, you know, look, if he doesn't have this, he's gonna die. And they're quite hesitant to do that. Um and and I was getting a bit out of it at this stage because my whole body was just infected and just shutting down, systematically shutting down, you know. So I'm trying to be like, God, why is this? I'm in so much pain, what's happening here?

Did the Lord speak to you at that time? Did he give you a word of comfort? Or you were so out of it that you would just pray and hope that God was and believe that God was hearing you and that he would deliver you from it?

SPEAKER_01 16:29

Yeah, at that stage it was more the latter. God did speak a bit later on, but also because of my the water retention, I had blisters, you know, dinner plate size blisters on the inside of my leg from my groin to my knees, from my knees to my ankle. And when I had the heart valve replaced, I woke up in recovery and I didn't really do too well in biology at school, but I was like, I'm pretty sure my heart is up here, so why am I my legs and my side all bandaged? And and then it came to change the bandages. I was screaming because the pain was so intense. And then I saw that all my legs were covered with this dead necrotic skin, which I didn't really know what it was at that time, and the doctors didn't either, but it was super, super painful. Wow, excruciatingly painful, and you know it was hard because right, so imagine all of these together. I'm trying I'll try and explain what the pain because the pain was excruciating.

And a bit later on, I had this young young lad from early 20s, he'd just come out of university and you know he'd never experienced any pain except maybe nappy rash app. That's the only thing he's ever experienced, pain-wise. And he goes, he's like, on a scale of one to ten, how would you one being okay, ten being painful? How would you describe your pain? I'm like, 200. And he's like, please stop messing about. No, I'm not messing about. This pain is excruciating. It's like having a thousand root canal with no anesthetic all at once. Oh my god. It's it's like having lava poured into your bones, just burning away and not not burning up, but just constantly burning. It's like a thousand bites from the bullet ants. It was intense, and it was 24 hours.

And I I was screaming, I did a lot of screaming. Wow, you know, the cut my leg, I'm screaming, change the bandages, I'm screaming, clean it, I'm screaming, put the new bandages out, I'm screaming.

It was screaming 365 days in the year. Because I I'm I'm interested because for you to be in such a lot of pain like that, this means that you were put on like narcotic medication and things like that. You you probably were was on a lot of morphine, morphine type medication that is addictive and things like that. And we're talking, we are talking about not just one day, we are talking about quite a few days, maybe a length of time with you being on it. So, which means you would have been referred from even from the usual consultant to a pain consultant in order to manage the pain, you'd have had the pain nurses coming in, you'd have had the the PCAs put in there, patient-controlled medication and things like that. How were you coping spiritually?

SPEAKER_01 20:08

Um I didn't have the pain patient control because I was on high-powered high doses of things like fentanyl, oxycodone.

My goodness. And um you must have been sleeping all the time.

SPEAKER_01 20:26

It was a mixture. Sometimes, some sometimes they'd give me that, and I'd be like, okay, this is why I'll they didn't give me the control of it. It was good because they'd give me the the dosage, and then a few minutes later, I'm I'm okay for a couple of minutes, and then it's back again. The pain is unending 24 hours. Wow, and so as I was just screaming, there's these days when I couldn't sleep, and when I did wake up, I'd just be crying like a baby again because of pain, and this was due to the calci calciphylaxis. Calciphylaxis, yes, right.

And for those of you who are watching, I actually did a very good thing for you. I went and simplified this uh this condition. It's a rare and fatal condition where calcium builds up in the body and blocks small vessels in blocks small vessels and fat tissue, causing intense pain, tissue necrosis, which is like death of tissue. And the there is a 45 to 80 percent mortility often, and also the the the mortility is is due to sepsis, and he is a survivor, but you didn't just survive. There are two things, two big episodes that happened, Kevin. Tell us about those episodes.

They this is a super rare condition, calciophylaxis. And I was in the hospital three months before they were able to diagnose what it was, and in that time, it's like, let's try this, and they're like, didn't work, let's try this, didn't work, and the pain is excruciating. You you said there that the mortality rate is 40 to 80 percent. Uh I personally would put it higher from the bits that I've I've found out about it. Yeah, but so you so you've got the dead necrotic skin, you've got the then you have deep wounds underneath, yeah.

And ulcers that are not healing and all of that.

SPEAKER_01 22:39

Yes, yes. Wow, and I had that all over my legs and my side, and it was eating away my skin, my flesh. Again, this is why it's excruciatingly painful. So that's it's it wasn't just like oh I I cut my finger or anything. This is you know, my body was actually being eaten away by all of this as well. Sorry, sorry.

So you let's go to the first episode. So you Actually, go to a place where you died.

SPEAKER_01 23:16

Yes. So mine's a super rare condition, and mine was even more rare because I'm I'm not, I wasn't on dialysis or anything like that. It's because some people with dialysis get it as well. So I had I had a perfect storm of things to give me this. So I had this, and the first, so yeah, it high mortality rate, and yeah, it killed me. Yeah, I died. And uh the first time wasn't long after my heart valve replacement. I I don't know if you like or seen Star Trek or Star Wars in the movies, but when they're going through space and all the stars are zooming past.

So I I had that experience, and but it was so vibrant, the colours were just alive, and I can't describe the colors because there were just so many, and so you know, just so bright, so colorful. And I was zooming along, and then I get to this place, and I immediately see a person, and I know straight away it's Jesus, and it's Jesus Christ. So I fall down on my um fall down and start worshipping. He's like, Oh, it's gonna get up, it's okay. And I and I was like, Am I dead? Yeah, am I am I in heaven? Because have I died? And Jesus said, No, this is like a halfway place. So I'm like, oh okay. And it is uh it's Ezekiel and Paul talk about going up to the heavens, going up there. So I think it was that possibly, you know. But Jesus was there, and this is when God spoke to me first about this. God had been speaking to my wife, and she'd been getting she got people to pray, and she was getting people all around the world to pray at this point, and God was speaking to them, but not to me at this point. I was hoping there's like, please God, do something. Yeah, like you said, we we believe in prayer and miracles and healing. Please God, do something. But it was just getting worse and worse. And I said, This time I died, and Jesus turned to me. I couldn't see a face, I know I can't, you know, but it was just glorious, just radiant, glorious figure, but I knew it was Jesus, and it and he turned to me and he said, It's not your time to die. Wow, I've still got things for you to do. Wow, and I'm like, and you know, it it's it's okay you read that in the Bible. Oh, God's got something for you, God's got plans for you, and all this, but when he says it to yourself, to you, it's it's so amazing. And so that was the first time in this for this situation that God spoke directly to me that I would I would live. My wife was trusting God for that and had believed that, but we're still praying. So I went back to my body, and and the nurse was like, Oh, you're back. And I was like, Why? What happened? And she said, Oh, you died, and we were trying to bring you back, but we couldn't resuscitate you, we couldn't do anything.

Wow. And uh so we Was it like was it like a room full of people? Or no, it was just this glorious No, I mean, when when you when you got back into your body and the nurse said you died, did you was there like lots of people in the room with the equipment? What what was the scene like in there? Do you remember? That one was only only the nurse this time, right?

SPEAKER_01 27:15

So I guess it happened fairly quickly, so they hadn't had time to really do much. But yeah, she she she was trying to bring me back, but you know, and I guess she'd call the doctors. Uh uh, yeah, so but it wasn't uh this this one wasn't a full room at all. So I was we I told my wife later, Camille, I told my wife, she was like, oh fantastic, brilliant, praise God. But it didn't get better, it got worse, and I'm like, God, you promised me you said this. But I did I made an active choice that I wouldn't where possible, I wouldn't scream and shout at the nurses and the doctors, I'd be pleasant with them, I'd be nice to them, I would even make jokes with them because not they're just doing their job. But yeah, so it got worse. Wow and the wounds and the skin was spreading, the pain was increasing if it could, you know, and it got worse and worse, and I'm like, okay, God, and I really in one part it was God, you said this to me personally, so I'm holding on to this, and I had that faith and that trust that God would do it. But then the second part is like, well, why isn't it happening yet? Well, you're you said you're gonna do it, so come on then, heal me. But yeah, then the second time was much, much worse. Wow. So Friday, Saturday, Sunday, because of the deep wounds, uh, you often bleed. Right. And I was bleeding in a few places, two on my leg and one on my side. Um I didn't notice because I because I was in pain, so I didn't notice the stuff. So I'm just laying in the bed, and uh you know, my wife thought, what's this? What's this? So she moves the bed cover, and the bed is just a pool of blood. Wow. And uh, we're talking rivers of blood, we're talking like paint the walls red with blood, we're talking biblical level, plague level of blood. Wow. And then it wasn't stopping, it was gushing out. So my wife pressed the emergency button. The nurse comes in and it's like, what oh okay. Then went down, got the other doctors, and Friday, Saturday, Sunday. They try everything to stop the bleeding. Bandages, they put them on and take them off straight away because they're just soaked in blood. Wow. We call them nappies, and you know, Americans call them diapers, but you know, for the babies, and they put them on because they absorb more again, but they just have to take them off. Wow. Friday, Saturday, Sunday, the doctors tried medicines, they tried bandages, they tried everything to stop the blood flowing. And my my wife, and by now, the the people praying for me was global, and it there were hundreds, maybe even thousands of people praying. Many of them even now, I still don't know who they were.

I've had messages from a school in Canada, I've had messages from other countries, people are we've been praying for you. And it's not just a one-time prayer. Wow. But the they they stayed with with us praying through it the whole time.

And so this weekend, so I died again. But and and I met Jesus again, but we didn't speak, we didn't do anything, but I had this incredible peace because of what it said before. It's like, okay, I mean I could I could I wasn't like floating over my body, ooh, there's my body, it wasn't like that. It was just I I was again in in in one of the heavens or not not on this earth, but I could see what was happening. Right, I could see that it was serious, I could see where I was bleeding from, I could see all the doctors, nurses rushing in and out, trying this, trying that. Wow, and time works differently. This was over three days in our time, but there it just seemed a few moments. Wow. But yeah, I I knew who was coming in, I knew you know what they were trying to do. Well, much. But you could hear what they were saying as well? Not really, sometimes a little bit. Yeah. Wow. But not all the time. Some of sometimes I could, and you know, but it was I I had such an incredible piece. Wow. So so deep, it was just like, yeah, everything's gonna be fine, everything's gonna be good. And so that weekend was a major, major battle, physically, spiritually.

Can I can I just ask a question, Kevin? Did it when when you were watching all of this activity happening in your in your hospital room, and you could see all the doctors rushing in and rushing out and and everything was going on, is there a point when you heard them say he's gone? Or when they seemed to have given up and you know, that was it, they'd done everything, or did they just continue going on until you found yourself back in your body?

I personally didn't hear that. I mean, they they told my wife, they told my wife all the way through this, you know, let him go, he's too severe, he's gonna die. You know, prepare the kids. Right. And again, this weekend they were telling her, but I didn't actually hear that myself. Right. I was just watching, then I thought, oh, I'm getting a bit tired now, so I'll close my eyes and went went to sleep. And then you know, I was I woke up Monday morning, and I was like, Hey, how are you doing? What what are you doing? What's the what's the problem? And it was like you were in such a severe state over the weekend, and you died over the weekend.

And oh my gosh.

Oh, okay.

But how long you were gone for? Did they say how long you were dead for? A minute, two minutes?

SPEAKER_01 34:17

Did they say to your wife? No, they just said I was I died. Um just a bit of information for those who like the numbers. 30 blood loss, critical. Wow, 40 blood loss, you're basically dead. 50 or more, you're well dead. Wow. And they put in we we use pints, so you go America use liters. I I'm not quite sure what it is, but we we they put into me at least five pints of blood, which means I lost a lot more, and that's half of what a human body does. Wow. So at least I lost at least 50% of my blood. Wow. Just for those who like the numbers, because I know there's a few of you out there that do. So but they were so shocked. But what happened, and this is you know, my wife told me afterwards. Sunday, when it got to the point when the doctors said there's nothing medically we can do now, we give up. There's nothing and we can't do anything else. We've tried everything, we we're giving up, we're stopping. Then God stepped in, then the bleeding stopped, then things changed and started, you know, starting. Wow, yeah, and it was also a big spiritual battle because we were actually dealing with uh a very big powerful spirit, demonic spirit, Abaddon, the destroyer, and um it was a battle. But that weekend that's when we have the victory.

For those of you who are into numbers, so five kinds is almost 2.9 liters, yeah, 2.2.9 liters, and the body functions on a normal human being. I'm just looking at the figures at about 4.5 liters. So you were you were gone.

Wow, yeah. I don't know whether I'm sorry, ladies, I don't know whether to cry just because of the mercy of God or what. We serve such an amazing God that he is able to defeat the laws of earth and our bodies when we talk about that scripture that says he's able to do exceedingly abundantly above and beyond all that we can ever ask or think or even imagine. Medically, it's impossible for me to be talking to this guy and he be sitting there, but for the mercy of God, but for the power of the resurrection power of God. You know what? I said to Kevin earlier, I said, Don't tell me anything about your story. I want to hear it as it unfolds when the people are hearing it. And I'm just hearing it for the first time, just like you all that are watching, and I stand amazed at God. I stand amazed at God because truly what a healing Jesus we have. And he is able to, he is able to restore, renew, and I don't know, I don't know about you guys that are watching, but I think I am just in a place of complete awe of God. I don't know if you don't get moved by the fact that a dead man, dead man is sitting in front of us who had absolutely was running on almost less than two liters of blood at the point that the hospital put in the fire. I don't know, I don't know what that does for you, but for me, it tells me that God is real. God is real. And he's able to just, you know, shock us into life. You, you who are watching, somebody who's watching, who's who's come to the end of their their their faith, and you're saying it's too late for me. I want you to look and see. There is a man who is standing in front of us who had less than two liters of blood in his body, and he is sitting before us because God is able to heal, God is able to deliver, God is able to do it, he is able to bring you back from the brink of death. If he could do that with Kevin and you are still watching this, it means you're alive. Praise God. And you can tap into his testimony right now and have your faith stirred and have your mind stirred and have your mind renewed to the fact that Jesus is alive and he is able, he is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Glory to God. Hallelujah. I'm about to have church up in here.

I mean, there's so much that happened. There's no possible way. Humanly speaking, medically speaking, I should be here. I should have died, and I did die beyond any doubt. You can't, well, maybe you imagined it, maybe it wasn't as bad as you thought it was worse. Yeah. And God stepped in. God, God stepped in, and that weekend was my healing. That's when yes, I've got my healing now. And from that weekend, the dead skin started coming off, the wounds started healing up. I I had to learn to walk again because I couldn't walk. Um sit up, stand up, walk. Now I can walk. I had I had a wheelchair, then crutches and walking stick. Now I don't need that. I'm completely free from that. I'm getting stronger and stronger each day in my legs and my body. Wow. We talked about the high dose painkillers. Me and my me and my wife like to watch police shows. And after I came out, I was watching these mostly American police shows, and they'd be like, man or woman overdose on oxycodone. Oh, okay. I had that. Man or woman overdose on fentanyl. I had that too. So I checked it out, and you need the smallest amount to overdose. And I was on high doses because it, you know, my body couldn't, yeah. And even then, it it didn't help the pain at that stage. But I prayed to God, I'm like, God, I don't want to be on these, and God delivered me from the drugs. I'm not dependent on other drugs anymore. I'm not taking painkillers. You know, I'm free from all that. I can walk. I've did my driving assessment so I can drive. So it's not just I came back to life and I was still in a bad state. I'm I'm, you know, God promises life abundantly, you know, and here I am.

And this was 21, 22. So this is only a few years ago.

Wow. Do you know what I'm hearing right now? I'm hearing the scripture from the book of Hebrews. Hebrews 10, chapter 35 and 36, it says, so do not throw away your confidence, it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised. Kevin did not throw away his confidence in God when he couldn't, when he didn't even know that he was in a state, there was a church praying, just like it says in the book of Acts, that the church was praying for Peter and he was delivered out of prison. And we see our friend here, Kevin, he was delivered from the brink of death. He did not throw away his confidence. The Bible clearly tells us, ladies and gentlemen, that without faith, it is impossible to believe God. And I want to just talk to people who are watching this, and you've, you know, in a in a, I think in about two, three weeks' time, I'm having a healing service online, and it's going to be only for people with cancer, not only, but people mostly with cancer, because I think this is where we get it wrong. When we throw away our confidence in God. And what Kevin said to me, which was so, so, so, so, so vital and so important, was when he could see all the doctors running around in that hospital room, he felt peace. He was with Jesus. He felt peace. And he felt, he said at some point he felt tired. But even though he felt tired, guess what, ladies and gentlemen? He did not lose confidence in the one that saved him. He did not lose confidence in the fact that Jesus had said, I am the God that heals. He said, It's not your time to die. At any point, Kevin could have said, Well, I give up. I'm not seeing the manifestation of my healing, I'm not seeing anything. You know what? I must have dreamt it all because there will be people who will say that to you. Did you you must have thought it up? You know, you didn't see Jesus. But he is living proof that when Jesus came and said, It is not your time in 2021, it was not his time because he's standing here as living proof that Jesus Christ is real, ladies and gentlemen. Glory to God. He is a real God. Glory to Jesus. So, Kevin, you went ahead because of time, we've only got like 17 minutes left. You went on and you wrote a book. Yeah, tell us about your book.

Very quickly, I just want to make a point. My wife was a very powerhouse. She got she was praying and got other people to pray. So you might say, Oh, I've got nobody to pray for me. Well, there are people that are available, but remember, Jesus is always interceding for us. Always, Jesus is on our side, yeah. So even if you don't have anybody, you can but there's people you can pray for and ask for prayer. So, so yes, I wrote a book, but it was it was partly because the condition calciophylaxis is so rare, it's a super rare condition. The doctors hadn't even heard of it, yeah. So I wanted to talk about that as raise awareness for that, but I also I wanted to show people something that God had shown me. But just by part, so my sharing the story is part of this. Have you ever had where you read in the Bible and this verses kind of come out like whoa? It's like I've never seen that before. I've I've been a Christian nearly 40 well, 40 years now, but. At the time it was, you know, 37, 30, 36, 37 years, whatever. And I've read the Bible, I've read the New Testament numerous times, and I've never ever seen this. So I was reading reading the Bible, and it's verse, Luke chapter 20, Luke chapter 20, verse 36. Luke chapter 20, verse 36. So it starts off, and he's like, Oh, you are children of God. Everybody knows that. We know that. We've I've heard people preach about that, and it's podcasts and books and all that, but you're a child of God. But the next the last sentence, you are a child of the resurrection. Let me say that again. You are a child of the resurrection.

I've never seen that. Wow. For some reason, I'd never registered or seen that. Or I mean it was there, obviously, but I never registered it. And from that, God has recommissioned me. You know, so again, I just want to say it's never too late to be commissioned or recommissioned by Jesus for ministry. You know, but I was recommissioned. My mission now is to tell people that you are a child of the resurrection. Wow. And just to put this in a little bit of perspective, Jesus said to the disciples, wait until you receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit, or the gift of the Rosebirth. After that, it's have you received the Holy Spirit? The waiting is over. As Christians, as children of God, we don't need to wait for the Holy Spirit. We might need to wait for ministry or things that God is doing in our lives, but we never need to wait for the giving of the Holy Spirit. We just need to receive it.

We are children of the resurrection now. Wow. When you become a child of God, you are a child of the resurrection. That means we have the resurrection power at work in us. The same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in you. Amen. So you can go out and preach in Jesus' name. You can go out and pray for the sick in Jesus' name. Amen. Because it's the Holy Spirit resurrection power working through you.

And that's my commission. I've been recommissioned to go and tell people. So it was I I had to do the I don't know anything by half, you know, so quite a dramatic way of me learning that lesson. That I literally had to die and come back to life to fully understand that we are children of the resurrection. But yeah, so I wrote this book as part of that story, as part of that commission. Count down to flatline. Wow. To be honest, some people say, Well, why don't you focus on the resurrection here? Because I was telling people about my story, and they're like, Oh, that's nice. No, it wasn't nice. It was horrible, painful.

It wasn't nice. No, it wasn't nice. No, I can imagine it must have been so horrible. I mean, I work in a hospital and I get when people are in agony and they are screaming. And mind you, people scream from as if little as a procedure, as something like a appendisectomy. But imagine when you've got everything going on that was going on in in Kevin's body at the time. Praise God. I want to ask you something, Kevin. So, now how has your life changed? How has your relationship with the Lord changed since going through all of that? And I mean, I I say this with um with a lot of respect for your healing journey because to be quite frank, I don't think I want to experience what you experienced, but you did. You know, I I can just imagine how painful that was and how trying of your faith that was. Some of us we just have migraine and we are thinking, oh, the world is coming to an end. Oh, but it's it's like one little event, but you had 365 days in the year where you did not leave the hospital. Your faith was tried, your ability to endure was tried. What is in in a few words, Kev? We've got like 10 minutes. In in a few words, what would you say to people who are living like that? I mean, I'm gonna be just honest. That was a death sentence that you received, number one. Yes, number two, your your condition was fatal, you were going down, expected to die. What is the one thing that you can say to people that are watching to encourage them never to lose hope in Jesus? Number one, number two, what's what's changed about your relationship with Jesus?

So I'm not saying it was a very difficult, very challenging year, and afterwards you've been in the recovery. But in there's the there were days in hospital when it was very dark. There was days when I I asked God, God, take away this pain because it's so intense, it's super, it's excruciating, it's 24 hours, it's just constant pain. I'm not getting any, I'm not my sleep was disrupted. And so I have days like that. I was but you have to be real with this. But you know, you you can't have a condition and sort of say, oh yeah, I'm fine, I'm wonderful. It doesn't work like that. Because it wears you down physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually. But part of it is you've got to keep choosing choosing to keep going. Yes, you know, and yes, God did speak to me personally eventually, but at first I was just hoping and hanging on to God, quite desperately praying for for healing. Because my wife had felt, you know, God has spoken to her about nothing for me of okay, that's great, and you've got the faith for that. These people can support you, these people who can pray for you, but be real when you're in your dark days and ask God, God, I need your help in this day, I need your help in this situation because it is hard, it's difficult, it's painful, and these days when you feel like you want to give up because for me it was the pain. But you know, stick at it, keep going, hold on, call, call a Christian friend, and just say, hey, just talk to me, pray for me, whatever, and don't give up. How it changed me, my relationship with Jesus is that after the second time I died, my wife was just changing, trying to just straighten in my socks. I mean, yeah, and she was talking about socks, and I'm like, why are you doing this? The socks. I want to talk about eternal things, I want to talk about deep things, I want to talk about God, I want to talk about this. And you know, I things like socks, it was it was trivial, irrel irrelevant to me. You know, so I wanted to talk about the deep things of God, but I realized that some people that's how they dealt with it, that's how they could cope with it, because it was an extreme situation. So you will have people who have different levels of coping, but for me, I I want to I want to tell the world that you know you are a child of the resurrection. I want you, I want to tell them that you can have a relationship with God, you can be healed, you you know, God will do all these things. So that changed in me. I mean, it's not like I wasn't I was superficial before, but I mean it's gone to a much deeper, deeper level of of being with God, looking for God and talking about God.

Kevin, would you like to pray for the people that have been watching this show, this episode, and just as the Lord leads you, would you like to pray for that before we close here tonight? And I, you know what? I would actually love for you to come back. Yeah, so God gave me two words that I want and I'm gonna those people and pay generally for God. So one person probably maybe more, but as bowel cancer. So if you have bowel or know somebody who's barrel cancer, God wants to hear today. One barren, you've been barren and been trying for children for years and years. God is gonna change that now, and God's gonna bless you with your children. But also, if you've been barren in spiritual life, emotional life, or just finances, just a barren life, I'll pray for that also. Father God, you are the God of the resurrection. You are the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow, and that same power works through us, Lord, that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in us. So, Father, we just ask that you'll stretch out your hand to those with bowel cancer, and I command that bowel cancer to go in Jesus' name and be healed in Jesus' name. I rebuke and curse every cancer cell in their bodies, and I command that pain to go, I command that discomfort to go, and I command those cancer cells to go in Jesus' name and pray for healing right now. Right now, you that you will be touching people's bowels and that you will be bringing healing. Let them feel the fire and the glory of God in their bodies right now, and I speak life into them, Lord God.

I speak life, physical, practical life into the women who are barren. I break that curse of barrenness in and over their lives, and I speak life by Lord that you will give them a baby, a child, you will give them, you help them to conceive whatever is needed. But from this day, I speak life into you. I speak the resurrection power and the life into you so that you may be able to conceive and have children. And all the effects of barrenness are break and cast off in Jesus' name. I pray, Father, that Holy Spirit will just enable these couples and these women that you've heard their cries, their anxious cries for the years to have children. And I pray, like Hannah, that you will bless them with children in Jesus' mighty name. I pray for those who are just barren, feeling barren in their life, different aspects of their life. We break that power and the curse of barrenness. We speak blessing, speak blessings in their finances, we speak blessing into their family relationships, we speak blessings into their work, we speak blessings in their ministry, we speak blessings over those barren areas in Jesus' name.
