SPEAKER_04

What's up everybody? Welcome back to another week of Unfiltered Waters. And we are sitting here. If you are watching, you know that the IUPUI pool is in the background. If you were listening, you just heard a whistle from one of the time trials happening. But we are enjoying some short, fun conversations with some of our national team. And this week was all about hot takes. So I supplied these athletes with some off-the-wall hot takes in the pool, out of the pool, and they got to tell me if it was a valid hot take or if they disagreed with the hot takes. This week we welcome Gretchen Walsh, Michael Andrew, Catherine Burkoff, and Phoebe Bacon. And they all have vastly different hot takes. And it was some of them were what I thought, some of them were way off what I thought, and just made me laugh, think, and I'm really excited for you guys to hear as well. Because again, sometimes I think Olympic athletes, professional athletes, are put up on these pedestals, and guys, they're human and they think very similarly from talking about you know, sharing the armrests of the middle seat, talking about pulling into the wall with a kickboard, all things swimming, all things life, and you guys are gonna get a great kick out of this. I would love, in particular, for this episode, for you guys to share in the comments if you agree with the hot takes or if you have your own hot takes. It's always fun to share. Um, and of course hit that subscribe button. But without further ado, please enjoy this hot take episode with Gretchen Walsh, Phoebe Bacon, Katherine Burkhoff, and Michael Andrew. Come with me, I'll show you the top three ways that I use my endless pool. So the first way is obviously my favorite way, which is just straight up swimming. I am now eight months pregnant, and so having any type of gravity on me is a no-ko. And so being able to literally use this remote, turn it up to my pace, and swim breaststroke, swim freestyle at whatever pace I want has been a godsend. Number two, treadmill. There's an underwater treadmill in this pool. My husband has been using it, I've been using it. You can turn it up to whatever you want, I believe five and a half miles per hour. And let me tell you, five and a half miles per hour with resistance is no joke. But again, like not having any weight on my joint, feeling weightless, whether you're recovering from an injury or just wanting to do some cross-training or pregnant, it is a massive benefit. Number three, kicking. I love kicking with a kickboard. I love being able to just, hey, on a day where maybe I don't want to get my hair wet and I just want to get in a good lower body workout, I can kick freestyle, I can kick breaststroke. Um, and for me, again, just being able to feel that weightlessness is huge. Or maybe you're a triathlete and you really need to work on your kick and you really want to specialize there, all of these things can be done here, right in my backyard. So if you'd like to do the same, use code unfiltered or use the link below to get $1,000 off your kiss. I have been raving about Dream Recovery really since the launch of this podcast because let's face it, it's my husband's company, and Dream Recovery has a suite of tools to not only help with your sleep and recovery, but your performance as well. And so I am very excited to announce their brand new launch of their Second Wind Ice Pack, which, if you are new here, Second Wind is their nasal strips. They now just launched gold and silver nasal strips, which you will see so many athletes donning these nasal strips on runs, in motocross, on the football field, on the basketball field. There's so many uses and use cases for these nasal strips. I know I personally have been using them a ton when it comes to pregnancy. It's so hard to breathe at night. So if you're someone who struggles to breathe through your nose, you have a deviated septum. Second wind nasal strips are for you. And then of course, you know, I'm gonna talk about DreamTape Plus when it comes to mouth taping. I have really not broken my streak in the last two years. It's made a huge difference in my REM sleep and my sleep score. Um, and for anyone who struggles to fall asleep or struggles to stay asleep, that is the product for you. So, of course, use our code unfiltered30 for 30% off your order and have the best night's sleep ever. Phoebe Bacon, welcome to Unfiltered Waters Hot Take Edition. Are you ready? Oh, yeah. Thank you for having me as well.

SPEAKER_03

I'm excited. Yes. Are you nervous? No. No, I got hot takes of myself, and I'm I can become polarizing sometimes.

SPEAKER_04

I was, I mean, I will say, like, my selection of certain individuals was around like, how honest is this person? And you were, I was like, Phoebe will always tell you how the best quality. Thank you. Um, okay, so first question is the best food always comes from a place with no Instagram presence.

SPEAKER_03

Oh, that's like a 50-50. I think you find some of the best food, like hole in the wall, ain't nobody know about it. But I mean, there are some places that come up, pop on Instagram, and all of a sudden it's like this is good. Especially if like an influencer posts it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And like finds a hole in the wall, posts it out, and it's like, shoot, everybody's now going here. Yeah. So that's 50-50. 50-50. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Um, reality TV shows produce more genuine culture moments than scripted TV shows. Oh, God.

SPEAKER_03

No, because let's just go with Love Island right now. Every single person has run on Love Island. Well, because I said, I said, honestly, though, half the the 75% of the reason I'm watching it is to stay relevant in what's going on in the world. Right. Like, and that sounds crazy, but everybody's watching it. If you want to get the memes, the TikToks, you gotta watch it. So you're saying so you're agreeing with the hot take? Oh, but not like genuine moments. You don't think? Like, I feel like it's oh, I feel like reality TV also is low-key scripted. I know. I think it depends on the show. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Would you ever go on a reality TV show?

SPEAKER_03

Depending on which one. I'd go on any reality show that has to do with cooking. Okay. In in a heartbeat. If I get Gordon Ramsay yelling at me behind a stove, I'd be very happy. Um, Love Island, on the other hand.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no. Yeah, I agree. I agree. Uh, Spotify Rapped tells you more about a person than their dating profile.

SPEAKER_03

That's awesome. Uh, I actually have to disagree with that one. Just because I have a shared Spotify account. Oh, okay. With my dad, my sister, and I. So we're getting 80s rock all over the place. Pop music now to like my sister's like wave noises and like wails like to calm her or something.

SPEAKER_04

So you're not posting that at the end of the year. Yeah, no, you don't want to see my rap.

SPEAKER_03

But but if you take me out of the equation, honestly, yeah, you learn so much about a person through their Spotify rapts. I know. That's that's uh when people post it, it's like burying their soul. Yeah, it's like, wow, you were in a deep dark place this month.

SPEAKER_04

Like, are you all right?

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um, sprinters and breaststrokers have the most weird quirks.

SPEAKER_03

I'd give breaststrokers that hands down, but I might say more distance swimmers. They're kind of weird themselves, too. Sprinters have superstitions.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's a good distinction.

SPEAKER_03

Okay. Distance swimmers have corks.

SPEAKER_04

I like that's probably the best take on that on this question I've gotten so far. Thank you. Great job. Thank you. Yeah. Um, the shared armrest on a plane belongs to the person in the middle seat. It does.

SPEAKER_03

But I always want it. I'm I'll I'll usually choose aisle or window. Like if I want to sleep, window. If I just want to like stretch my legs, aisle. And I always want both my armrests. I'm a big person, I'm wide, like, but it it's gotta go to the middle person. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Do you think that there's a distinct, like a criteria? Like if you're like five foot one, 95 pounds, and you're in the middle seat versus an athlete, does that play into it?

SPEAKER_03

I think it does, because I think I I genuinely think I've accidentally intimidated people. So yeah, if and if there's like a kid in the middle, you don't need it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I feel like that's a hot take, but like there's there's so much criteria below.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, each each circumstance changes it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah. So I agree. TikTok ruined attention spons. TikTok ruined attention spans more than school helped them.

SPEAKER_03

More than school helped them? Yeah. Oh. I'd almost I would actually flip it. Really? I like I think school when it comes to attention spans, like, is honestly sometimes awful. Like if the teacher's standing up there boring somebody, I'm not paying attention. Yeah. Like I can tell you for a fact I'm not paying attention. But, and this is awful to admit, there are times where I've fallen down like a TikTok rabbit hole of almost watching an entire movie through one like which in that sense, I'm putting my attention towards one thing for an hour. Yeah. Is it great? No. Is it bad? No. But like, like I think no, I think sometimes teachers just like purely lose kids' attention in school. Um, shoot, even in college for that matter. And I think that's more detrimental. Because we're for not force, we're we're there for eight hours a day. Right. And if you're learning how to almost disassociate from focusing for eight hours a day, that can be good for you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. That's it's a unique hot take. It's a unique one. What is oh so, what is your algorithm on TikTok? Is it like is it movies or are there any other kind of weird ones that you can share?

SPEAKER_03

I'd say a lot of cooking. Cooking recipes is the highlight. Occasionally I'll get like throwback vines. That's fun. Those make my day. Yeah, those are fun. That's really, really fun. Um, sometimes just like funny videos. And then I'll run into like a TV show, which then actually gets me to start the TV show in real life. Yes, that has happened to me.

SPEAKER_04

Or spoils it, which is bad.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, you have to be like, get away. Like, not I'm not on that episode yet. Yes, yes, yeah, yeah, bad.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Streaming killed the album or saved it?

SPEAKER_03

I think saved it. Because then there you always get the option.

SPEAKER_04

You always get the option. Yeah. I don't know. Were you like, I'm trying to think of how old you are. Like, were you like back in the day where you just like to pay 99, 99 cents for the song? Were you in those days? Or no?

SPEAKER_03

Well, yeah, yeah, yeah. We were. We were we totally entirely were. Um, and I hated that. Right. But like, I I think like I love music. Like every opportunity I get to listen to music or put in headphones or listening out loud, I will. And not having the like confines of only being able to have what I've purchased is so nice. Yeah. You know? Like you can, you just get it. I feel like it can grow music taste. Yeah. Because you get more more option and variety.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe you expand because it's free, so that and then you engage more with their stuff. Yeah, yeah. And then it's like, oh shoot, now I go back and listen to the whole album. Yeah. It's a good one. Okay. One pull into the wall during a kick set is acceptable.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah. Okay. One one pool is okay. There are the people. I know. Everybody knows them. Yeah. Everybody's got them on their mind.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

Makes you upset. Yeah. A little salty when you're racing over. A little bit, but no. I think one pool's okay because it's you're not gonna kick into the wall and just like hit the board on it.

SPEAKER_04

Right. Or it's like a side swipe, I almost think. Like I'm talking about the like it's a full stroke pull. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yes. Okay. You still get that. Okay. You still get that. Cause like you still gotta kick your, like, if you're taking the stroke, there's still an aspect of kicking into the wall.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_03

If you take two strokes, most people end up stopping kicking.

SPEAKER_04

True. You know? That's a good to see. Yeah. Once you stop kicking, it's like and and it's just your arms. Like, what are we doing here? Right. Yeah. One stroke's okay. Okay. The best coaches say the least on race day.

SPEAKER_03

Ooh. Person to person. I mean, like, I know I there are some people where, like, I know it's like the coach will not talk to them almost on race day, besides like a fist bump before, like uh, hey, go swim your race. And that works for them.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_03

And then there's the people where I need the hug, I need the you're gonna do great. Yeah, I need the affirmation. What are you? Um I'm a little bit in between. I think it depends on the the event. If it's something that's like maybe that makes me a little bit more nervous, I need a little bit of outside confidence, but if there's something that I'm like, I'm pretty strong with, or I feel I already know that I can bring the confidence from within, then I'm like, I look at my coach, I'm like, what heating lane am I? And let's go. He just he just knows, too.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, yeah. It makes sense. Okay. The warm-up warrior is the same person who gets up first on an airplane.

SPEAKER_03

That's just such a terrible no. No, no, no, because that's me. It's a warm-up warrior, but I'm staying sitting on that airplane because I'm usually finishing my TV show. Okay. I'm getting I'm getting extra movie time. I paid, I paid for the flight. I'm getting my my full show. Yep. That's so crazy.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, if you think wait, so what how wrote these hot takes? I did, I found it. I actually no, I wrote this one, actually. I'm lying. I wrote this one. Um, it's very specific. Yeah. Wait, what so what do you define as a warmup warrior?

SPEAKER_03

Kind of jumps in and just goes. Okay. Like starts out going, and I would even say, like, throughout the entirety of warm-up is still going. Hang, so that's you. It is. I have two distinctions from it though. Or there's a couple of different paths. One, I hate cold water. Okay. So I jump in and I go because I do not want to be cold at all. That's fair. Super fair. And but I mean, I I will never not get yelled at for how fast I warm up. Like, I can't.

SPEAKER_05

You yell at for that?

SPEAKER_03

Oh my god. Everybody's fighting your Phoebe. Yeah. Phoebe, slow down. Go in front of me. What are you doing? This is warm-up. What are we training for? The Olympics. That's my younger brother saying that. Um, but dude, they people hate warm-up war years.

SPEAKER_04

No, people, people hate. I actually don't have any like like ill will. It's kind of like if you want to do it, do it.

SPEAKER_03

That's my thought. Yeah. Yeah. And I this past year though, I have changed a little bit. I keep saying my old age, it's finally catching up with me. So old, so ancient. And I I I do warm up a little bit slower sometimes. But for the most part, yeah, I'm just I'm jumping in and I'm going. But I'm staying seated on that airplane. Okay. That's fair.

SPEAKER_04

That's fair. All right. The Hunter Freestyle is one of the most painful events. Nah.

SPEAKER_03

No. Okay. I kind of I I mean, I don't swim it very well, so that's probably part of the reason. But uh, I find it kind of comforting.

SPEAKER_04

Comforting? Yeah. Okay. Long course and yeah, totally. Nice.

SPEAKER_03

Alright. People are gonna hate me for that.

SPEAKER_04

I was saying that is that has been controversial. Controversial, yes. The 50s are the most stressful of all the events.

SPEAKER_03

Uh, I think they're stressful. I do, but no, I think the most stressful event is whatever event you you yourself put the most pressure on. Yeah. I like I know for me a 50-free is a joke. Yeah, but I I because I don't swim it well. I'm not fast at it. I don't have a technique, I don't train it. It's just fun. But for a 50-free styler, there's probably there's some there's pressure and there's you need to perform because this is what you train for. So it's totally one of the most stressful events.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. No, that's good. Do you have any hot takes that you can think of that you would like to share today?

SPEAKER_03

I literally had one in my head as soon as you said hot takes. Oh, oh. Here's a hot one. All right. I don't think distance swimming is that hard. I don't. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

You're saying that.

SPEAKER_03

That's tough for me to tell me why. I or I think it's just as hard as like mid-group and even sprint group. I think everybody always puts distance on this like pedestal of like, no, that is the hardest training, that is the hardest training. I think they're all equal.

SPEAKER_04

I think I agree with you on the like it gets put on a pedestal, and I think it's how you it's I think it's like anything, it's like how you execute it, right? Like, I think mid-distance can be insanely hard, but it's like, yeah, you just some distance swimmers could just do a set and just like go slow for a really long time.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. So I I have there's truth to that. It it comes, it comes back to the like, what do you put the most pressure on? Like I could probably do a distance sweat, like you said, do a do a 8k set, but I wouldn't be going fast on it. And then like, but on my mid D set, I'm putting every ounce of mental and physical like strain that I could possibly like put on myself. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

No, I I I it is a hot take, but I like it.

SPEAKER_03

I that's that's what I think, and it it hurts me or it annoys me because it's it's the complaining that comes from it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Or like the victim kind of like oh well, we're we're the you know, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, I'm like across all across all like genres of Oh, 100%. I mean, you get you get the sprinters talking about it, but then you even get the mid the mid D people and they're like, well, we're the hardest because we and I'm like, oh my god.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, we're all working hard here. Yeah, thank you. Thank you. Well, thank you, Phoebe. Appreciate you and excited to cheer you on this summer. Thank you so much, appreciate it. Yeah, Gretchen Walsh, welcome to Unfiltered Waters Hot Take Edition. Thanks for having me, Katie. So the first one is reality TV shows produce more genuine cultural moments than scripted TV.

SPEAKER_02

I I think that's pretty accurate. Reality TV shows are what was it again?

SPEAKER_04

Like, like a reality TV show, and this is the the the question is more around like, do you think all reality TV shows are scripted? And so it's like, do you feel like they produce more genuine moments, like cultural viral moments than scripted TV?

SPEAKER_02

Oh, okay, I see. Honestly, I feel like they don't really produce more because I feel like I see more reruns than of the scripted stuff than a reality TV show, but at the same time, like how much is the reality TV show notes? I know. It's hard to do it. Is it authentic? Is it all natural? Because I'm thinking of the Kardashians, but then I'm thinking of Love Island. I know. And Love Island, I know that they're seeds planted, and they just and you hear all the takes from The Bachelor and everything. Yeah. But I am obsessed with Joey and Kelsey from Joey's season of The Bachelor, and I have a I think that was purely authentic, and like they are my favorite couple of all time. So in that sense, like I'm rooting for the reality TV shows just because of them.

SPEAKER_04

I think, yeah, I think you like want to, right? Because you're like some of the moments are so like just precious, and you're like, Please don't be please just be real. Yeah, be real. I think it's a I I think it's a mix. And I'm just gonna stick to that. Yeah. And I do think there are a lot of great. So I think the hot take is I think we both think it's true. Yeah. I think so too. Cool. The best food always comes from a place with no Instagram presence.

SPEAKER_02

Ooh. I don't think that's true. Because I feel like I find a lot of the best restaurants online, social media, open table, I treat that as a social media app. Okay. So and if they have an Instagram, I'll go look at it. But anywhere that you can have a review, and if it's new and trendy, a lot of people try to become something on Instagram these days. And so I trust if they've got a good Insta, they've got good food. And I don't think that will ever let me down. But there are holes in the wall that maybe are getting on Instagram now. For sure.

SPEAKER_04

Like get on there. Yeah, no, I mean I do think it's like a calling card, right? It's like your resume of and also food is so it can be so pretty. Yeah, yeah. Yeah. Um, Spotify Rapped tells you more about a person than their dating profile. Wow.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, I feel like I'm going against these hot takes, but I also feel like that maybe isn't true if you're not a super musically inclined person. Because I feel like my Spotify rapped tells you nothing about me. Like I listen to music all the time, but I feel like society has curated it for me. You know?

SPEAKER_04

I like that.

SPEAKER_02

And you wouldn't really know me just from my Spotify rapt.

SPEAKER_04

I don't think you're good, by the way. You're not, these are not like my hot takes. These are just like hot takes the universe. Yeah. So like there could be. So do you agree with it? No, because I'm the same. I actually always feel really bad about myself when everyone like posts the Spotify rabbit.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I'm never posting my Spotify wrapped anything. I would never post my Spotify rapt. I think I'd find it like embarrassing.

SPEAKER_04

Inaccurate. Inaccurate. Yes. Yes. No, I agree with you on that one. Okay, sprinters and breaststrokers have the most weird quirks in the sport.

SPEAKER_02

I definitely think breaststrokers have some quirks. I don't know if that's just, I don't know how that's come about, but especially recently, I just feel like there's a lot of personality in that stroke. Yes. Um sprinters though, I'm I'm thinking about ready rooms at like world championships. I feel like I feel like the sprinters aren't too too crazy, but maybe on the men's side. Men's sprinters and brushstrokers.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. I like that. A little tweak to the hot take. Okay. The shared arm rests on a plane belongs to the person in the middle seat.

SPEAKER_02

I was literally thinking about that on my way here because the woman had the window seat, and I'm a tall person, and I was like, do these belong to me or do they belong to you? Because you're on the window. And she definitely wanted it. You felt the energy, or was she like physically edgy? I I could just feel a little so awkward. I didn't really give it to her though. I was like, I need this. I feel like it's whoever. I think it depends on your body.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_02

If you're a larger, taller, long-limbed person, then you get it. Middle sea on a 10-hour flight, though, they can have the armrest. Yeah. Okay, so those sp those specifications.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Maybe it does just fly on them. But what about the window? Like they deserve something. I know.

SPEAKER_04

It's real. Like, I don't think I think if you asked a hundred people, you might get a hundred different answers for that. It's tough. And I don't feel like it's not discussed. It's an unsaid, like awkward vibe.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. I think there's just too many details that go into it. And it's like, whoever's gonna take control and take it is gonna get it at the end of the day. Well, certainly.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Um, TikTok ruined attention spans more than school helped them.

SPEAKER_02

Uh, yeah, I definitely believe in that hot take. That's super valid. I'm always on two times speed, like for every two times speed. I'll speed up all the TikToks I watch. No, yeah, I didn't even know you could do that. Yeah, you like hold it, hold it down, and then you have an option if you want to watch it on like times one, times 1.5, times two speed. I'm a times two speed. So you're like an efficient consumer doom scroller.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, how okay.

SPEAKER_02

I'm an efficient this is how I like operate in life. I'm just always Todd always says he's like, you're always in a rush. I'm like, honestly, yeah, like just looking at my Doom Scrolling, I'm Russian. Yeah, you're rushing through it. It's supposed to be enjoyable. Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_04

Um streaming killed the album or saved it? Killed the album? Yeah, like an artist comes out with a new album. Do you think like the streaming at new album like it's not obviously streaming hasn't always been around? Has that helped? Does it help or hurt? What is streaming? Like streaming like Spotify, like yeah, yeah. I think that helps. Yeah. Yeah, okay.

SPEAKER_02

Cause just more people can listen to it and everything.

SPEAKER_04

Back in the day, it was like maybe maybe you're too young for this on take. Like back in the day, you would have to like buy on Apple. Like you'd have to buy it like for 99 cents.

SPEAKER_02

And like I think the accessibility and then the like marketing of it, and especially now when people do like drop one song, drop two songs, okay, boom, whole album, now you're hooked. Yeah. I I think it's good. And they definitely get a lot of the they must get some of the rewards of like per listen on Spotify, giving the artist back some of their some some money from the money.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they do they do. I think it, I would agree with you. I think it balances it out, but like I think in the beginning when it was first happening and like social media wasn't as crazy, they took a hit from not getting the money.

SPEAKER_02

So and also I think a result of all of this is I don't really know the names of albums anymore, but I know the names of songs.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's a good call.

SPEAKER_02

So maybe it's taken away from like, you know, what's I mean, I I feel like this is a bad example because everyone knows the Taylor Swift albums, but like, what's your favorite Taylor Swift album? I don't know, but like I know my favorite song, and I think it's from this album kind of thing. You know?

SPEAKER_04

I don't yeah, I'm not good with albums either. Yeah. Right? Yeah, just the yeah, just the song. Just the song. Yeah. Okay. One pull into the wall during a kick set is acceptable.

SPEAKER_02

One pull on freestyle, all good. Okay. I'm not a poller when it comes to fly kick, though. It messes up my rhythm. So I say if we're gonna call it even, if I can be even with everyone, then no for butterfly, dolphin kick, yes for freestyle kick.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, so you're not you're not salty if you're racing someone kickboard, freestyle on a board and they pull, don't pull too. Okay, that's fair. Um, okay, the best coaches say the least on race day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I agree with them. The warm-up warrior is the same person who gets up first on an airplane.

SPEAKER_02

No, I'm a warmup warrior. Are you? I think so.

SPEAKER_04

Like you just crush it right when you get in.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, maybe I'm I used to be more of a warm-up warrior, but now I've kind of chilled, chilled out a little bit. I would say Kate is a little bit of a warm-up warrior. Interesting. I don't know if that is like offensive. I hope it's not, but I could see her getting up first on a plane. So maybe, yes.

SPEAKER_04

Yes.

SPEAKER_02

Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Also, that kind of goes against, you said you rush everything. That goes against your whole thing.

SPEAKER_02

I yeah, I've been trying to be more chill and warm up. So it's a process. But I'll try to sit on the plane. Like, if I see I'm not gonna be able to move, I'm not gonna like stand up and have to crouch. Right. I think I just know my space kind of with that. But if I've got a connection, oh that's fair.

SPEAKER_04

That's like I'm seeing it. Yeah, yeah. Okay. The 100 freestyle is one of the most painful events.

SPEAKER_02

Yes, yes, it is the most painful event.

SPEAKER_04

The most painful event. Yeah. That might be a big hot take. Okay, well, that is my hot take on the 50s are the most stressful of all the events.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_04

No, okay. Uh no. Why?

SPEAKER_02

I just think they're fun and you don't need to be so stressed when they're fun. I understand people feeling like they have to be perfect. I think the first 50 of a meet, if it's your first race, that would be really stressful. Okay. Because I remember always the 50 back being the very first event that I had, um, leading off the 200 Medley relay and to double A's, and it was always just like I felt like I never could get my technique right, I could never execute it right, and it was stressful for me. And I think it was just because it was like first race, such a fast race, and wanted to set the tone right. And I sort of put pressure on myself to do that, but like 50 fly, 50 free. I feel like I just try to get hype and like ready to go, and it's gonna be what it's gonna be. And sometimes it's perfect, sometimes it's not, but it doesn't need to be stressful.

SPEAKER_04

I like that. Yeah, I like that. I mean, coming from you, that like carries a lot of weight, so that's a good one. No stress. Yeah. Do you have any of your own hot takes that you would like to share to finish us off? I guess the Hunter Free is the hardest of man. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's my hot take. And I also was thinking about this today. My hot take is maybe Uggs can't be on the pool deck because the fuzz. I was thinking about my like wet feet, and I was like, guys, we can't do this anymore.

SPEAKER_04

Like you're saying, well, what about if you wear socks though?

SPEAKER_02

Socks are fine. Okay, do people wear socks in the Uggs?

SPEAKER_04

I didn't ever, okay, but I I'm saying that would be the solve if you still wanted to allow it, but you're saying like ban like no Uggs on the boys. I like the socks. That's a good thing. The socks can work. Did you ever because you don't wear, did you ever wear Uggs?

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. You said tennis shoe girl.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, that is a hot take because you know my entire swimming career I wore Uggs. So that's gonna that hits me, but I get what you're saying about the fuzz. Okay. I get what you're saying. It's good. I mean no offense. I did not take it. Awesome. Well, Gretchen, thank you so much. I appreciate you and me cheering you on all summer. Thank you. Yeah. When it comes to being complicit with really any aspect of my life, any bucket, whether it's working out, whether it's taking supplements, whether it's being a good friend, I'm always analyzing, is this something that I can do consistently long term? And the reason that I am such a big IMA Daily Ultimate Essentials advocate is because it replaces 16 supplements. Guys, I hate taking pills. And I know there's so many of you out there that feel the same. And taking supplements is such a chore and a burden. And until I found I am 8 daily ultimate essentials. It comes in a powder form, it tastes delicious. There's three different flavors. They have the mango passion fruit, the lemon orange, and the accept mix berry. And so I never get bored or tired with what I'm having on a daily basis. There's travel sizes, so I know that when I'm on the road, I can just throw them in my bag. But all that to say is it has to be delicious. It has to be easy and it has to be convenient. Otherwise, you're just not gonna do it. And so being able to have that convenience has allowed me to be really, really consistent with my supplement intake. I've said this before and I'll say it again. It's 90 essential nutrients. It's everything you need from performance to recovery to skincare. It hits all the buckets. And so, of course, we've got a special link for you. We'll link it below. Use this link or use code unfiltered to get 10% off your order and make sure that you're fueling your body from the inside out to give it everything it needs for this summer and beyond. Michael Andrew, welcome to Unfiltered Waters Hot Take Edition. Let's go.

SPEAKER_00

Alright.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I like I was thinking about people that were like, who is gonna be really honest with me? And I was like, Michael Andrew.

SPEAKER_00

Who was open to stirring the pot? That is me. Yes.

SPEAKER_04

Um, okay, so first one is reality TV produces more genuine culture moments than scripted TV.

SPEAKER_00

I think reality TV. Wait, so what's like the concept is reality over scripted?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Is reality TV is it actually reality?

SPEAKER_00

I don't think it's actually reality.

SPEAKER_04

Any of them?

SPEAKER_00

See, you you want to believe it's not. I know, but there are people in this world that are like that. So it's like it's cringe worthy, but I think that's what makes it entertaining.

SPEAKER_05

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

And so I don't know. That's why I don't think like I would ever be asked to be on a reality TV show.

SPEAKER_05

I was gonna ask, like, would you ever go on?

SPEAKER_00

So I was invited to be on a dating show. Uh I think it was one of Alex Cooper's, like, it's like something that was the board one? Yeah, something that was being like in the making. Yeah. I was dating someone at the time, so I was like, maybe not a good idea for me to do that. Um I don't think I would do it. I think I think it'd be great.

SPEAKER_04

Because I think you'd be like, forget your scripts.

SPEAKER_00

Fair, fair, honestly. I would kind of beat to my own drum, but I don't know. I feel like I've dealt with enough scrutiny that from the rest of the world, I'll just take it from the sim world.

SPEAKER_04

Fair. You can just be a are you a viewer of it? Oh, for sure. I'll watch that.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. I I say, I so here's the thing is there were a couple years ago where I um I watched, I think it was too hot to handle. I hate to admit that. I hate to admit it.

SPEAKER_05

No, I've watched it.

SPEAKER_00

For the longest time, I was like, I'll never watch this. It's garbage. But then I watched one episode with a friend of mine, and by the end of the first episode, I was like, we have to watch the next episode. Or I sat through the whole season, I was like, this is terrible. Complete brain rot.

SPEAKER_04

People who say that they don't, I think are lying. So yeah, it's true. I agree.

SPEAKER_00

It's too entertaining. Yeah. But it's bad as time scrolling.

SPEAKER_04

The food, the best food always comes from a place with no Instagram presence.

SPEAKER_00

A hundred percent. I agree. Yeah. Hole in the wall. Like, at least in Hawaii, too, where we are, it's like the little pho places where you don't even know it exists until you walk in and you're surrounded by that culture.

SPEAKER_04

So, how do you find it?

SPEAKER_00

You just explore.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, that's cool.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, or you know somebody that's already done the exploring for you.

SPEAKER_04

Cool.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Spotify Wrapped tells you more about a person than their dating profile.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I agreed. Agreed. Just because it's what they're action, it's it's actionable. Spotify Rapp is like, this is what you did. These are the hours you put in. Yep. Dating profile, you can present yourself however you want to be presented.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, I like that. I like that. Okay. This is funny that this is the one, because it's it wasn't targeted for you, but it so is. Sprinters and breaststrokers have the most weird quirks.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, 100%.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, we are the quirkiest bunch. And I think when you put a sprint breast choker together, it's like to the max.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So, I mean, in my eyes, I don't think we're weird because I'm that weirdo, but I do think we're very different. Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, that's just like that's not even a hot take. That's just truth. That's just true.

SPEAKER_04

I mean, I also think that like quirks doesn't have to be a negative.

SPEAKER_00

Not a negative. Yeah. True. Yeah. Yeah, we definitely stand out.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

But agree. Um, the shared armrest on a plane belongs to the person in the middle seat.

SPEAKER_00

Yes. And yes, but the caveat is if it's a really small person, and like for me, for example, I have really broad shoulders. Actually, I don't know.

SPEAKER_04

It's hard. It's a hard take.

SPEAKER_00

Here's the thing is I just never sit in a middle seat.

SPEAKER_04

Okay, but what if you're so what if you're in the aisle and that's a little bit.

SPEAKER_00

If I'm in the aisle, I almost always kind of let them if they don't claim it early, I'll take it.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Because then I know what's early.

SPEAKER_00

Like within the first like 20 minutes of the flight.

SPEAKER_04

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

Like, or at least before takeoff. I'm like, if they're not like resting on it and on it, then I'm like, fair game. It's fine.

SPEAKER_05

That's fair.

SPEAKER_00

And I think when yeah, like when smaller people sit next to me, I think they know like my shoulders are already over it.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So it's like I can like subtly claim it respectfully.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But I would never steal it from a middle person. I think middle seat gets right of way.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

And then if they don't take it, it's fair game.

SPEAKER_04

I actually agree with that. I feel like anytime I've been in a middle seat, I'm kind of like, I feel like I should get this.

SPEAKER_00

Oh no, no, no. If if I'm in the middle seat, I'm not letting anyone. Yeah, you're asserting dogs. Oh yeah, for sure. And I'll I'll like physical touch, like, yeah, sure, rub up against me if you want. Like, this is mine.

SPEAKER_04

Um, TikTok has TikTok ruined attention spans more than schools helped them.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, a million percent. I think all social media. Yeah. I was actually talking about this, and this is like a it's actually an epidemic. I was talking about this the other day with my teammate, and we realized in Hollywood, movies used to build like a 45-minute thing to refill the plot.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Now they have to do it within the first 10-15 minutes because you lose attention span. And a lot of that is because of the social media era where it's like we're so used to scrolling, click, click, click. If it doesn't grab your attention in the first two seconds, it's not gonna generate views.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I noticed that the same with my posting. If I post anything, 30 seconds are over, zero engagement, algorithm doesn't push it.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. It's all gonna be so sad.

SPEAKER_00

It's so sad. I know. Storytelling's not the same.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I don't know how we roll it back though.

SPEAKER_00

Get rid of it altogether. Back to the dark age.

SPEAKER_04

Back to the dark age.

SPEAKER_00

Live on a farm and escape reality.

SPEAKER_04

Maybe one day.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um, one pull into the wall during a kick set, like on a kickboard, is acceptable.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, 100%.

SPEAKER_04

Interesting.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I do it. For sure. Even when we were at ASU, I think. I guess it depends if it's a finish or if you're going into a turn. I think if you're going into a turn, for sure a pull. Okay. If it's the finish, I guess it depends on the coach, but I usually would I'd pull into it and do a one-a one pull. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So you're not like, I see. I would get my hot take is I get angered by that. Really? I'm like kicking.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like I don't do enough kick sets to get to like no. But I I would always I'd cheat the system.

SPEAKER_04

Do a one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. I'm at I feel like that one is like the most hot take. Really? Swimming.

SPEAKER_00

In swimming, it is. Okay. I can see that. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

The best coaches say the least on race day.

SPEAKER_00

I think so. I think the least needs to be said on the race day, and that's usually comes from the elites. Um that's what we're trying to get to. It's like we don't that's why you train. Right. It's your rep repetition and adjustment is for the weeks at home. And then when you race, you execute, analyze afterwards, don't overanalyze during the meet because you have to focus on other things.

SPEAKER_04

Yep.

SPEAKER_00

And then you make the adjustments. Yeah. I think that's a good take. I agree.

SPEAKER_04

Cool. Um, the warm-up warrior is the same person who gets up first on an airplane.

SPEAKER_00

Oh. Honestly, yes. I mean, I can't stand the people that get up on an airplane. Warm-up warrior, I'm like okay with, like, you do you. But if you're getting up early on a flight, yeah, I feel like that's a pretty fair comparison. Okay. At least in the swimming world. I'm trying to think what else could a uh warmup warrior be tied to. Yeah, that's probably it for a travel day.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Or actually, you know what? Like warm-up warrior would be like getting to the airport two hours plus before.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Yes, that's a good addition to it.

SPEAKER_00

I'm like, I do not need to spend more time in an airport. Like I'll show up, get through security, walk to the gate, get on the flight.

SPEAKER_04

I think the commonality of all three of those is just like it's an overly anxious.

SPEAKER_00

It's the rush.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's rush.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. The hundred freestyle is one of the most painful events.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, 100%. And I think that's what kept me out of like pursuing it when I was younger. Really? Well, and it was always at the end of the meet. So I'm like, I get to it and I you have to race it like a 50. Like you're pretty aggressive. Um, I remember when it was getting super fast too. There was a part of me that was like, oh, I want to get that like relay spot and build that. But the endurance you need to build for a fast hunter-free is pretty gnarly. You gotta be training kind of for the 200.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Uh I just, yeah, I could never figure that race out. It was always difficult.

SPEAKER_04

Especially long course.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, long course is brutal.

SPEAKER_04

Dicey.

SPEAKER_00

Legs.

SPEAKER_04

The 50s are the most stressful of all the events.

SPEAKER_00

Personally, yeah. I you there's no room for mistake, no time for error. You make one mistake, it's gonna take you the whole race to try to just get back to where everybody was.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I promise I didn't make that for you.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Um, all right. Off swimming. Last one. Concert and stadium experiences are dying.

SPEAKER_00

Ooh. So growing up, I didn't go to a ton of concerts, but now when I do, I think it's like the most amazing thing. Like, I love experiencing live music, especially. When it's like good artists, like great performers. I went to Post Malone the other day and I was amazing. Um I don't know if it's dying. I do think it's becoming more of a festival culture. I think it's like instead of going to like a one-night thing, people want to go to like a whole week or like kind of like go crazy.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So maybe that's like the shift. Yeah, I can see that being a shift. It's like live concerts are dying a little bit, it's becoming more hole in the wall, or like a whole week.

SPEAKER_04

It's like one or the other.

SPEAKER_00

Like a big experience, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I would agree with that. Yeah. I'd agree with that. Thank you, Michael.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I'm just having a different conversation around the pool. Oh, I know.

SPEAKER_04

See if people agree.

SPEAKER_00

Always a pleasure. Yeah. Cool. Good luck to the rest of the meet. Cheers.

SPEAKER_04

Catherine Burkoff, welcome to Unfiltered Waters Hot Take Edition.

SPEAKER_01

Are you ready? I'm ready. Also, I just want to say before we get started, I don't know if you know you have trading cards out there, but I have one of your trading cards. And I only have you and Ian Crocker. What? Yeah. Oh my gosh. I know I like from a while ago? Yeah, this is like in 2000, I don't know, nine maybe. Okay. But I have your trading card in my dresser at home. And I meant to ask my mom to bring it, but I forgot. Oh my gosh, I want to see it. I know. I'll bring it to the next meet. Okay.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. That's great. That's so great. Yeah, I mean, I know, like, you know, like they get they get circulated, but that's really cool. Yeah. How old were you in 2009? Eight.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_04

Great stuff.

SPEAKER_01

No, I know. That's how I feel when I ask people what year they were born now.

SPEAKER_04

I know. You're good. I know. One day you'll be 37 like me and being like, oh my God. Yeah, it's crazy. Yeah. I love that. Thank you for sharing that. Yeah. Um, all right. So rolling through some hot takes, you just tell me if you think it is valid or you disagree with it, and then we'll go from there. So the first one is reality TV shows produce more genuine cultural moments than scripted TV shows.

SPEAKER_01

Um, I think I disagree with that because I feel like it takes a very specific type of person to go on reality TV, and that does not represent most people.

SPEAKER_04

So you would never get if someone invited you to go on a reality TV show, you would say no? Probably not.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think I'm cut out for it. No, I feel like you're so cut out for it. Like, I don't know. I've been watching Love Island and just seeing what they go like that sort of TV show would be torture. That's I Love Island is an extreme. What about like a traitors or a special forces? I could do something like that. Yeah. Yeah. That's more chill, not so traumatizing.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah. The best food always comes from a place with no Instagram presence.

SPEAKER_01

I would agree. I feel like so many places focus on presentation. And honestly, my favorite places to eat in Raleigh are like food trucks. So yeah, if it's a food truck, you know they're putting all their money into the food.

SPEAKER_04

That's a yeah, that's a good take.

SPEAKER_01

Do what's your go-to food truck? Like what type of food? Um, I've been really into Salvadoran food trucks. Like, there's this, it's like, I don't know if you've ever heard of papusas. It's very similar to Mexican food, but yeah, any sort of food like that has my heart.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I mean, anything anything Mexican, I'm down. So if it's like that, I would love it. It's like that. You would love it. Okay. Alright, Spotify rapped tells you more about a person than their dating profile.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I would say so. Because someone's dating history, that's only a small part of them. True. Yeah. True. Music encompasses a lot more.

SPEAKER_04

Agreed. Yeah. Are you like, do you put your Spotify raps out there? Like, do you share it when that comes around every year?

SPEAKER_01

I'm Apple Music Replay. Okay. But I do like to share it. I like to see what people's are too. I know some people think it's annoying, but I'm interested. I would like to see what music people listen to. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

I feel like it's almost unfair, and I'm not here yet, but for parents, because they share it and it's all their kids' music. And I'm like, that's a cop out. You need to also share yours. You're gonna need a new account for the kid. I'm gonna need a new account. Agreed. Alright. Sprinters and breaststrokers have the most weird quirks in the sport.

SPEAKER_01

I definitely think breaststrokers is accurate. But I don't think sprinters, I would say sprint or breaststrokers and like distance swimmers. Ooh. Because you gotta have like you gotta be pretty locked in in a different way to be a distance swimmer. Yeah. So yeah, I just I think breaststrokers and distance swimmers for me, in my opinion. Yeah. No, I mean it's hot takes you.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I mean, yeah, I do feel like distance swimmers, you kinda have to have some demons that maybe you're literally, yeah. Um, okay, the shared arm rests on a plane belongs to the person in the middle seat. Absolutely. Yes. No hesitation there, okay?

SPEAKER_01

No hesitation, yeah. Although it's kind of awkward like asserting yourself being the person in the middle, but I always let the person in the middle take it. That's nice. Yeah. That's really nice too. Unless they're like really manspreading in my space, then I'll like come in.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Like their knees and feet are taking too much space.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, then I'll like assert a little dominance back and like put my elbow on it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It really can become like a little, like an unspoken fight. Yes. Yeah. Crazy. Okay. TikTok ruined attention spans more than school helped them.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. I am suffering from this myself. Like, I actually I thought for a minute I was addicted to my phone. But I think the problem is my brain just needs like constant simulation now. So I'm trying to like find more chill ways to entertain myself that aren't being on TikTok. How's that going? It's tough. But actually, when I start, like, I like reading, I like journaling. So when I do those things, it just takes more effort to get started. But after I do it, it's much more fulfilling than like scrolling on TikTok. I feel like I'm brain dead after I do that. Like, it's not good. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

That's good. That's like journaling, yeah, like taking the time, you're aware. Yeah, that's good. Okay, streaming. See if you're too young for this. Streaming killed the album, like the music album, or saved it.

SPEAKER_01

I think it kind of killed it because, like, now I used to always listen to all the songs on every album, like on a CD. Yeah. But now I only like select a few, and like I listen to like I remember listening to Lady Gaga's like full albums all the time when I was little, and now I don't know her full albums, and I just feel like that's an example. Like, I don't know every artist's songs now.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, no, I would agree with that. Um, okay, one pull into the wall during a kick set is acceptable.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, definitely.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, I know some people that do two pulls, that's triggering. That is true. I think one is good, yeah. Yeah. Definitely. Okay. And for all strokes. Yeah. Okay. I like to use my kickboard, get a little extra leverage with that pull.

SPEAKER_04

That's good. Are you flipping or open turn?

SPEAKER_01

I understand that some people don't like the flip turn, but I like to flip. So you're doing the one pull and you flip like flip.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. Okay. Okay. Um, the best coaches say the least on race day.

SPEAKER_01

Uh I don't agree with that. I think it just depends on what the swimmer needs. Yeah. Like, I don't honestly, I don't think Braden says too much to me on race day because most of the talking is done before that. But some people need like that reassurance and stuff. And sometimes I do too, but usually, like, I I'm pretty locked in on my own.

SPEAKER_04

So it's kinda- Yeah, so it's so you're saying it's like reading reading the athlete what they need. Yeah. Could be one or the other. Got it. Um, okay. The warmup warrior is the same person who gets up first on an airplane.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

unknown

Yes.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, yes. Oh, a warmup warrior. I mean, I can sometimes be a warm-up warrior, but typically, like, that first 200, I'm going so slow. It's my talent. Your talent of going really slow. Yeah. I can go really fast. I can go really slow. I can do all of it. All entrances. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

What would you say? How would you define, like, or how do you define a warm-up warrior?

SPEAKER_01

Uh, someone who like goes really hard that first loosen. The first loosen, okay. Yeah. And like, I'm scared of getting lapped. That is a warmup warrior to me. And 200? Yeah. You have that on your team? Well, I know you're interviewing Q next. He he might be a little bit of a warm-up warrior sometimes. Like, if I'm in his lane, I'm diving in right behind him so I don't get lapped. Wow. Okay. But he's just really fast too. So I'll cut him some slack.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. And he would be first up first on an airplane.

SPEAKER_01

I don't know. Not in a rude way. Right. He's just maybe because he's eager to go.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, there's something wrong with that. Yeah. Okay. Um, okay, the 100 free style is the most painful event. That's so incorrect.

SPEAKER_01

Like, I feel like there's like if there's any event you can do at the end of NCAs, it's the 100 free. Like, it's not. I don't know if I'm doing it completely right, but I feel like the 100 free is one of the easier events. Like, okay. I think 4 IM is the hardest event.

SPEAKER_04

Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Like, and it's the most fun to watch too. I think it's so cool. Like, you just have to be so tough to do it. And I really admire that. I'll steer clear, but I'll admire. Admire from afar. Yeah. Yep.

SPEAKER_04

I love admiring from afar these days. Yeah. Oh, I bet. It's so nice. Um, the 50s are the most stressful of all the events.

SPEAKER_01

I don't think so. I think um it probably depends on who you are, but I I know you have to get like all the details right, but I feel like with 100 back, I still have to get all the details right. It's just there's more details, and I'm like double. Yeah, I'm a little, I'd say like the 50 comes more naturally to me. Like just because there's less thinking, and sometimes I like to turn my brain off. But a hundred like has my heart, but I'm it just takes more focus. Like I just have to nailing the turn, the start, the finish. It's just there's a little more thinking involved. So I think 50s are not the most stressful.

SPEAKER_04

You know what's so interesting? It'll be like you and Gretchen both have said that, and you guys are the best in the world at what you do in the 50s. So there's something to be taken from that of like just go. Don't think about it, don't overthink it. Yeah. Maybe that's my issue of being a sprinter, just like yes. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No.

SPEAKER_04

Um, do you have any hot takes of your own that I have not covered that you would like to share in any aspect of life?

SPEAKER_01

I definitely do, but I can't like think of any right now.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it's all right. Um, awesome. Well, these are great.

SPEAKER_01

Thank you, Catherine. Of course, thank you so much. Yes.
