Okay, to me it's a classic. To Nick, it's horrible. It was called In a Broken Dream by a band called Python Lee Jackson. Rod Stewart, the Python Lee Jackson were an Australian band. Found formed in Sydney in 1965. Rod Stewart actually sung lead vocals and he got paid enough to buy some seat covers for his car. That's the payment he got. And he it's an absolute classic. Yeah. Top top one.

Yeah, but they all started somewhere, didn't they? Yeah, sorry. You know, just walking as a superstar, you've got to get a record label, but you can't imagine, you know, David Bowie again, you know, just bubbling round London playing pubs and clubs, you know what I mean, until they get noticed. T-Rex, same, you know, a lot of them. And you know, they they made the name on you know on circuits going around London playing so and places like that. Got noticed, got offered a recording contract, and and that rate, Beatles cabin, you know what I mean, and sell the black cabin. You know what I mean? That's how they all kind of started. And that and you know, back then they'd sell a lot of records, not like you know, download today, actually to go to the shop and and buy it. And you know, when when an LP came out, it was fantastic because you'd look at the LP and you'd really look at the cover, and sometimes they'd have the lyrics on for the songs. You know, I've still got an awful lot of my vinyls, still look at them and whatever. Yeah, fantastic, fantastic.

Well, yeah, none of that quite sad. You remember like record booths, so you you go to people behind the counter and said, Can you play this record in booth number four? And you go and stand there, and you can either, you know, booth next door playing the record or what have you. You could listen to it before you, you know, before you bought it. And yeah, yeah. It would I'd like to say it were good days, then sixties, seventies, eighties, and stuff like that. Music were good, and you kind of owned it, didn't you? You know, you bought it.

Yeah, yeah, 80s was brilliant. Synth all synthesized, weren't it? All synthesised pop and stuff like that. Yeah, good. It's whatever era was your teenage era. You know, mine's late 60s, early, you know, 70s, and that's it. And you know, Alice Cooper is Auckland and bands like that, yeah, ELP, and you know, it depends what era you grew up in, and that kind of music stops with you all your life. Would you agree? Well, you will is that you will, but you're a bloody whatever they're called.
