Jo Bell's first year in business, she made £3,000 — not because she lacked skill, but because she was too scared to be seen. In this conversation, Jo and I go deep into the inner child and inner teenager work that's been the missing link for so many visionary women stuck at their next level of visibility. We don't just talk about it — about a third of the way in, Jo takes me through the exact process live, and we land somewhere I didn't expect. If you've ever felt yourself hold back right when it mattered most, this episode will show you why — and what to actually do about it.

⚡ Why the "fawn response" might be quietly running your business (and your income)
⚡ The difference between inner child and inner teenager work — and why the distinction matters
⚡ How a childhood belief about being "different" can shape your visibility for decades
⚡ What "empty chair work" is and how it's used to access parts of yourself you've outgrown
⚡ Why healing isn't enough on its own — and the one thing that actually shifts your reality
⚡ What it looks like to release a limiting belief live, in real time, in under 15 minutes

Have you ever thought that maybe it is not your inner child, but your inner teenager who is running the show in your business and making you play so much smaller than you actually could? This is one of the juicy parts of this conversation that I had with Jo Bell, an incredible woman that I had the pleasure of meeting in my women's circle in Lisbon. She is one of those powerful women who sees a big future, who is a visionary, who works with other visionaries, and she does that mostly with inner child work. We also talked about how healing that inner teenager can actually blow the ceiling of what you even think is possible. If you've ever pulled back right before being seen, deleted the post, didn't apply for the stage, this episode shows you exactly how inner child work dissolves that. And about a third of the way in, Joe actually takes me through it live, on the spot. You'll want to stick around for that. I have done plenty of inner child work, but never named my inner teenager until this conversation. And if you're a visionary woman sitting in that same edge of being more visible, of wanting to be more visible, this episode is for you. Here is my conversation with Joe Bell. Welcome to the Bold Expansion Podcast. You are here because you know your business is meant for more. I'm your host, Emai Drost, and this is where you'll learn how to make more money, create transformational offers, and step into your truth as a leader. True premium strategy, identity work, and my signature method, Millionaire Breath Work. Each week you'll get the strategy and the shifts to expand your wealth, your impact, and your freedom. This is Bold Expansion. Are you ready? Hey Joe, so good to see you here. I'm very excited for our conversation about inner child work, about the visionary woman. And can you give an introduction for the listeners here? Because I know you have so much magic to give. So can you share a little bit who you are, who you serve before we dive in?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, absolutely. It's such a pleasure and a privilege to be in this space. And I'm Joe, Joe Bell, for those of you who don't know me, which probably is quite a few of you. And I coach visionary women and I help them to stop shrinking and start taking up space. So that's space in their bodies, space in their voice, space in their lives, however, it's showing up for them. I really create lives that feel like theirs. And it's such a beautiful, sacred space to work in. And I do very deep inner child work, somatic work, trained in like loads of things, so I can go wherever we need to go. But inner child and somatics tend to be my favorite.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. And can you maybe share a little bit about the type of woman that you work with? Because I know that you work with people on business and life. So who comes to you? Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, absolutely. So it really depends where they're at. I always work with the women where she is, but it's somebody who normally is at a level where they are stuck and they can see the life that they want. They can sense that there's something bigger calling them, but they're not moving towards it. And they've gone through various things, like they've listened to the podcast. They kind of have an understanding of self-development, they have an understanding of patterns, but things in their life aren't changing. So it can be like I have clients who are filmmakers or scientists or business owners. I mean, really, as a woman who is called to something bigger than her current reality. And she's determined to create that, but she's keeping on coming up against these roadblocks when she's doing it on her own, which makes so much sense.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. And I think this is work that we can all relate to because even when you have already had many breakthroughs in your life, lived many lives, have gone through different seasons, there's always that next level, right? So this work, it doesn't really stop. I would love to talk with you about how do you actually support people through that journey, women through that journey? Because I've been there many times. I know I will be there many times. What are the first things that you start with to help someone go through their next level?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think that's such a beautiful question because all coaches are different. So I have the first thing is I have a super intensive intake forum because I want to get so clear on exactly where she is and what the priorities are for her in her life so that we know exactly what to focus on. And so often women do come to me and they want to change their whole life. But it's like things like self-trust really need to be at the forefront of the change that's happening. So it depends on where she is. So we get so clear, so focused on what the goals are, and then we move into in one-to-one sessions, but also if I was doing group, we might go here as well. We move into really deep processes, but we look at what's alive. So if somebody is coming and saying, I am trying to launch this thing, but every time I do, every time I go to post online, I stop myself or it or post it and I'll delete it, or whatever the experience is that she's having, I will go into a sort of questioning, like, oh, interesting. What comes up in your body? What do you notice about that sensation? Does it remind you of anything familiar? And we I like to think of it rather than diagnosis, which I find really restrictive, it's like going on this journey of discovery around what beliefs she is holding, what experiences maybe have lodged something in her system, and then what is actually present in the body. And then quite often when we release from the body and we release from the belief, life starts to change. And with the inner child work that I do, it's very much like going back to a part of you that is frozen inside, being with that part, loving on that part, and then letting that part rest and give up the belief it's been gripping onto so tightly, like its whole life really, really depends on it, so that you can become the woman that you actually want to be, and you're not reacting from that part of yourself anymore. I love that.

SPEAKER_02

Can you share a bit more about the inner child work? Because I have done my fair share of it, but I would love to hear what your vision on that is because I have definitely some strong opinions about inner child work. And I would love to hear a bit about maybe where you found it for the first time, how you're using it actually with your clients, and why you believe this is the most powerful tool.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, absolutely. So I think it is the most powerful tool, but one thing that I would say is it's not a tool that you always have to use. So if someone was in my container, it's not necessarily something that we would go into in every session. We go into it when it is required. But I found it through my mentors, um, Christine Hassler, who's one of the kind of the OG coaches. I got really into her work and really into understanding that I was showing up in the present as someone that I tried to escape from in the past. And for me, I had a lot of a lot of pain as a teenager, a lot of secrecy and hiding and shame and things that were just completely unprocessed that I didn't know I was carrying around. And I think, like a lot of people, I was like, I got through that time. So I don't want to revisit that. I'm just like gonna be like, I'm okay. But actually, when I started to access the beliefs and work, I did some empty chair work, remember, was one of the first things that I did with her. And empty chair, oh, empty chair is so magical. Empty chair is where you can do it with any part of yourself. So if you do IF, I use IFS as well. I don't just use inner child, but it's basically where you have a chair, and then you like current day me would sit in one chair, like my highest self, the woman who knows she's made for all of these things. And then the other chair, usually I would invite forward the part of me that was really present. So if it was a part of me that was showing up and I was like, I'm really afraid to make this move, I would be like, I would like to invite the part of me forward that is feeling fear, right? And then we would go into usually like a visualization to help that part come forward, and then you speak as yourself and you speak as that part, and you have a conversation. So you go back and forth. And for me, with the inner teenager, she had never had the chance to express anything. So I actually went into the sea as her, and she was just crying and screaming and doing all the stuff she didn't have space to when she was that age. And I could just hold that for her, and then that no longer presented in my current reality. It's wild, it's like this miraculous process where like, oh my god, like all that part wanted was to be seen and heard, and now it's like no longer subconsciously running my life. So great.

SPEAKER_02

Like, how did you notice it in in conversations with other people when you were running your business?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it was really big for my business because when I started my business, I was really in the fun response in the nervous system. Where I don't didn't know this at the time, right? But I look back and I'm like, oh, I was just like, if I know about this, then you'll like me. If I say this, then you'll like me, you'll want to work with me. And it's so interesting to look back on that. But my inner teenager was really present because she wanted to be chosen. She was like, and it was showing up with clients, like and it was a horrible energy of like, I want to be chosen, I want to feel like they like me, I want to feel like they want to hang out with me. But it was coming from like a really, really unhealed place, like it didn't feel good to me. And it was really blocking me from just being my authentic self because I was trying to contort myself into what I thought people wanted. And it's kind of like embarrassing to admit because that's you know, but it's true, it's the truth. And so when I first started my business, my results were so limited. The first year of my business, I wasn't coaching, I was it was like writing for mental health. I made 3,000 pounds in a year, like such a small amount of money because I was like just in such restriction and limitation because I was so scared to be seen as such a deep wound around visibility. I was as you know, because we had met in person, I'm very tall. I got really bullied for that as a kid, and so I made myself smaller in in all sorts of ways. And so then it was like I had this business and I gotta be online and I gotta be visible, but that didn't feel safe. And so healing that helped me to exponentially increase like my joy in work, but also my visibility as a human and just if to do work that feels so much better for my soul, you know. I love that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and for the listeners, we have met in person a bunch of times on this incredible women's circle in Lisbon, which was amazing to experience you. And what I love about you sharing this is actually you have such an outspoken personality today, and what you're sharing basically shows that that wasn't always the case, that you were holding back a lot, people pleasing a lot, but you are actually so quirky and you're just so unapologetically yourself. So I love that I have seen that side of you and that you're now explaining kind of how you got there. And I'm wondering with that inner child's work, the first thing that comes up for me is visibility is something that almost everybody has. Is there a certain place that you start with everybody, or is it really a unique journey for whoever comes to you?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's a really beautiful question. I would start with what's alive. So if we have, I had a client who's a musician, and she was talking about how she was like, people talk about being visible in their business, and it's not, and I feel like I am visible in the business, but I'm actually not visible in my life. Like I cancel appointments and I'm not performing my music, and I'm not hanging out with friends because I don't feel comfortable in my own skin. And a lot of people have this. I think women, you know, such a deep part of my own journey was having an eating disorder and really hating the way I looked and all of that. And I think that there's layers of that that run for many women, you know, and they can be extreme or they can be kind of lower, but being able to just work with what's alive and what feels challenging, and then digging into what might be underneath and what you're really believing about yourself and who you're believing that you need to be, that's not just you. Because essentially, when it comes to being seen, if we have a fear around that, it's because it doesn't feel safe to truly be ourselves for whatever reason. And when we can heal and clear for that, it's like such a beautiful sort of I want I want to use a word that's more descriptive than transformation, but that's all I got right now.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. I'm also thinking, okay, what if you then have all these things come up and maybe someone works with you for three months? How much trauma do we take on? How much do we bring into our business? Because one of the things that I truly believe is that in this industry, a lot of healers, coaches, facilitators, they are doing too much inner child work. I think there is a lot of power in it, and it has helped me a lot. And as you're speaking, I'm like, there might be even some more parts that I want to shred some light on. But what do you think about the person that actually does obsessive inner child work? Because I've also met people that literally spend every day at least half an hour talking to their inner child. And I think here's also a difference between being held in a container with a mentor that actually guides you to a clear endpoint versus just hanging out with your inner child. Because this is my personal frustration. People who do that tend to not really take ownership in their business as well, and they just let their young self be wild and free. But actually, your young self is not a CEO, it's not the person that should run your business. So I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

SPEAKER_01

I love this so much because I think it's so real. And I for me, my objective is to help my clients to get to who they want to be and how they want to experience life and what they want to build as the woman. Not as the little girl, but like as the woman, and I think that there's so much interesting, I call it interesting practice. And I feel very fortunate in the way that I've experienced it. But for me, and that's why I was sort of saying, like, I don't always do an each other. Sometimes I just celebrate with clients, sometimes we're in the mindset shift, but when your inner child is showing up and it's very present, it will continue to persist. So it's like if you don't acknowledge it, it's then you know it becomes a battle with yourself, and I don't have half an hour conversations with my inner child every day. That's not something that I do, but when I was deep in it, especially when I was doing my inner teenager work, I would be dedicating and devoting some time to that when it felt alive. But what I think we forget is it's like a both and. So I know you were talking about like inner millionaire, and it's like, yes, inner millionaire, and our and our like little girl gets to come along and just be witness to that. And like that's cool for her, but she doesn't need to participate, she doesn't need to create, she can just be on the sidelines and enjoying enjoying that, right? And for me, the key to this is you do the healing work, and then you're like, okay, now that you've released that belief, what are you gonna do? Because if you're not doing anything different, then it's not gonna change your life. Like if you're just having these realizations and breakthroughs and healing moments, but you're taking no different action, your identity is gonna stay the same and your reality is gonna stay the same. You have to start taking action that a part of you didn't want to take in order to really shift. That's my that's my kind of take on it. Just that makes sense.

SPEAKER_02

That makes a lot of sense. This is exactly what I'm always saying because I do the millionaire breathwork with my clients, but I always end with some sort of action step at the end. And I also tell people who come into my world, like, yeah, it's it's cool that you can do breath work with me and you can feel amazing, you can feel your power, you can feel your inner millionaire, you have conversations with them. But what happens if you don't take action is that it will just fade away. It's like wearing an expensive perfume, and you need to keep spraying it on if you only do the identity work. Because for me, the the being part, you I'm sure you've heard of be do have, right? And this is something that understands to the core because some people are manifesting and they're just wishful thinking, they're meditating, visualizing, but they're not taking the action. So if someone comes to me and they're like, Oh, I wish clients would just show up randomly and would just pay me and would just be in my world and that I would sell out without needing to follow up with them and do anything. Like, that's amazing. That's the dream. And at some point you might get there, but you do need to take the steps in between. And what the breathwork does is not it magically, well, sure, it does change something in the field, it just does change something in the energy. And I've had a lot of people actually sharing that after a session, people would just come out of nowhere and wanting to hire them. That happens, but then you're still playing the waiting game. And if you're actually wanting to go faster, which I believe we can live a lot of lifetimes in one life, if we actually do this process over and over again of changing your identity, and you only change your identity by doing, by taking that action. So, yeah, this is very much aligned with what I teach. So I love that you have such a grounded perspective on this approach of inner child work and inner teenager work. I actually realized when you said inner teenager work that that might be my gap because I have done some inner child work until a certain age, but then I've never even called it inner teenager. And I felt something in me going on a little bit like, is she talking to me? Is she talking to me? And was like kind of like juicy of like okay, there's something here. I have uh I think a fun request that you can say no to this. Would you want to do a small demo and to just do a little bit of your magic so that people can also hear what happens?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, of course. This is uh this is what I thrive on. I'm loving 100% my love. I would I would say that the the inner teenager, like I call it that. Most people just call it inner child, but I feel like the fields are so distinctive because child, like childhood to me, before teenagehood, they're very in that pure and tender place. But then when you become a teenager, it's like all of the social stuff activates, sexual feelings activate. The things that we start to feel shame about really like can really get activated. So I like to think of it like your teenager also expresses differently, like than your little girl does. Your teenagers, well, my teenager was like rolling her eyes and just like whatever. I was there too a lot for I would I'd love to do a demo with you, my love. Absolutely. Okay, how do we do this? I'm ready. Okay, so tell me, is there anything that you feel that is currently present in your life that your inner teenager may be objecting to or blocking you from? Like anything you want to do or go for or embody.

SPEAKER_02

I've done a lot of this work, but not directly with the inner teenager, so it might be nice to have the perspective from that point. I am currently breaking through a visibility ceiling because I am not afraid to be visible. I'm not afraid to stand on stages, I'm not afraid to be on social media, but I have noticed a small holdback in hot take type of content, which I'm doing it anyway, and it's a process already of a couple of weeks that I'm putting myself more out there. But I've also made a commitment that I want to have 30,000 followers if I can before the end of the year, which is kind of insane because I'm at 2100, almost 2200. So that's gonna be a big jump. And I don't know exactly how yet, but I want to put my energy and focus there. So maybe that's something we can work with.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, then I just see him. Let's say curious, and then maybe your energy in the country or might be something else. We always just want to play in curiosity. So let's see. Are you open to closing your eyes down and just going into a little process? Yeah, beautiful. Okay, so 30,000 followers, is that right? Yeah, yeah, okay. So just take a second and connight to your body and just really, really land in this moment. Just acknowledge yourself for being so freaking courageous and choosing like another level of visibility, another level of being seen, another level of ignition for yourself and claiming it, claiming it publicly, which takes also a lot of courage. Just take a breath. Into your body. And then on the exhale, letting go with the style and just letting anything that doesn't need to be here. It was just one bit more breathing into your body, early landing. Then letting go. Yeah. And I'm really curious when we bring to mind you imagine like a holding back. You're doing hot takes and you're holding there's a part of you that wants to hold back a little bit. I wonder if that part feels present. You can connect to the part of you that just wants to hold back a little bit. Doesn't want to go all in. That might present as yeah? What's here?

SPEAKER_02

I feel a part of me doesn't want to get the full attention. And I have a twin brother. He was bullied quite heavily. I'm not sure if it's the teenager though, because in that well, in that time also, but especially when we were younger, we were in the same class, in the same schools, and there's this witnessing of him being bullied, being the center of attention and being bullied in that moment. And me being more on the sideline to protect like my myself, but also to help him.

SPEAKER_01

So there's a part of you that believes, let's see if this is if this lands for you. Is there a part here that believes that being visible means being attacked? Yeah. Yeah. And that feels true for that part. Yeah. I wonder if you can connect to the part of you that believes that being visible means being attacked. And this might come through a sensation in the body. You might see her, you might see the younger self. We're just getting curious because we have a short amount of time to just dive in. We really want to connect to this part. We really want this part to come through and be present. Can you sense this part that thinks being visible means being attacked?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there's there's because one part of me is like almost jumping up the table, like, yeah, I want to be seen, of course. This is gonna be fun. Probably a bit of my Leo energy as well. And yeah, I also my throat being a little bit um not blocked, but just some more sensations happening.

SPEAKER_01

Like be careful of what you say when you're having knowledge of the okay, okay. This is so beautiful. So I wonder if the part of you that wants to jump up and down and be seen, if you can just let that part know that we see her, that she's awesome, and that we're actually here for the same reason. We want you to be visible, but we also just want to hear what this other part might be storing. And would it be okay if we just stepped aside from it? She can still jump up and dine, she can still keep that enthusiasm. But would she be okay with just letting us explore this area in your throat? She's doubting. Yeah, okay. What why is she dining? Let's speak to her.

SPEAKER_02

Why is she guiding she feels like she's been on the sideline long enough?

SPEAKER_01

Okay. Okay. She feels like she's been on the sidelines long enough. And how does that felt for her? Boring. Yeah. That makes sense, right?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. Yeah. We totally hear that. And again, we're here with the same intention. We want it, we want you to be visible. And we're here to investigate why that might be challenging for another part of you. How does that land for her? Better. Yeah. Okay. Beautiful. So we really know she's here and we've heard her message. Like, she is bored. She is ready. She feels like she's been on the sidelines long enough, and we really want to let her know that we hear that. We're here to honor that. Yeah. We're here to really honor that. We're just gonna check in briefly with the part that's in your throat that's alive. Is that okay? Yeah. Yeah. Amazing. Amazing. So she can still be there. Like let her bring her sass and her enthusiasm. She can even feel like she's front and center. It's okay.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's what we want for her, right? Let's just investigate the throat. What is present in the throat?

SPEAKER_02

A lot less is present already. I think they are kind of connected.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I think they're connected. I mean, can you tell me, is it in the bottom of her throat or kind of like in the neck? Like here in the middle. Okay. Okay. Okay, this makes sense because this is a zone of uh expression. So it makes sense that something would be showing up in the body here. I also feel my jaw a little bit. Yeah, amazing. So if we just focus for a moment today, all we're just gonna hear is really what is present for you. They focus for a moment on the jaw and the neck. If they had a message for you, this tension, this this contraction, what would they say? It's okay to shift the energy. Okay, so that the the part of the jaw and the neck, that's saying that it's okay to shift the energy. That's amazing. The the context that's really amazing.

SPEAKER_02

The context is also that because my brother being bullied quite severely, especially young, so this is not per se teenage, a little bit also teenage, depending on when you count that it starts. But there was always so much focus on how heavy that was, that there was very little space for joy and excitement and just being light, and so maybe the attention and the group setting is kind of connected to a heavier energy, but then at the same time, I didn't, it wasn't my energy. So the shift about energy is not so much about me, but about how I affect the people around me, how it's okay that I can actually use my lightness and happiness and share that and show that to others and that they will like me for it, and that it will be the right time and not too much.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Mara, that makes complete sense. That makes complete sense, right? If you were holding back from being light and joyful because you couldn't be, because it didn't feel like there was space for that. It makes so much sense. So I'm curious, does it feel like your body wants to shift this energy right now? Yeah, yeah, and okay, so we're just gonna do a little release process, right? And we're gonna get a bit wacky and wild. Lucky podcast listeners. And what we're gonna just begin with is I'd love for you to just tap on the areas where you're experiencing the tension. So just really tapping on those areas and bringing in some movement, some stimulation to those areas, and then just start to express from the space of the part of you that's been holding this tension. And this might sound really tribal and strange or might be quiet. Whatever comes through comes through. I'll just make some noises, and you can just do whatever feels okay for you. So, like whatever comes through, like five this wants to express and be heard and be released from your system, let it go. It's okay to shift the energy. I don't have to be on the sidelines anymore. It's okay to shift the energy, it's okay to bring my joy, it's okay to bring myself, letting yourself express. Yes, beautiful, it's beautiful. So good, yes, letting that come through, yes. So good. Let's celebrate it being here, getting released. Yes, I keep jumping. Oh good, yeah, what are you having? Beautiful. It's really like your system of releasing while it's been a whole day. You might even want to shake your hands if there's a lot of energy. Oh, that'd be great. Oh yeah, just allowing yourself, allowing your body to shift that energy and letting it be okay in this moment, letting it be here and present in this moment. You don't need to do anything different. You really can just be yourself, and you can bring in that partner that wants to jump up and down, and you can let her be part of this, let her activate as well. Is anything she wants to express? Yeah, she can be here, she can be here. Yeah, it's so good, so good. So just taking a moment to just let that settle a little, being really spacious, and just reconnecting with the body, maybe putting one hand on your heart and one hand on your belly just to anchor in. Yeah, and taking a second to really just acknowledge the profound wisdom that came through from your system, the things that you've been holding for such a long time, and send some love to your throat, to your jaw, and to the part of you that learned to shut down a little and not be as bright. The part of you that navigated a situation in which she needed to adapt. She did a beautiful, beautiful job, and now it's safe to shift the energy. She doesn't need to be on the sidelines anymore. It's safe to bring her forward. Yeah. Taking a second when you're ready and come back to me. No rush.

SPEAKER_02

That was so lovely. Well done. Came through was this permission of having joy in front of others.

SPEAKER_01

And that can be big, you know, for a child where they're in an environment where their natural expression of joy is unwelcome for whatever reason. We learn that in the nervous system. We learn in our body to shut down, and we learn in our shut down. So, what I would welcome for you is now just every time you notice that whole holding, holding back, coming up, just being like, Is this this part of me that learned that it wasn't okay? And then you can start to work with her. If we had longer, we would unpack maybe a little bit more with her, but we we did we did quite a lot in the short space of time, which is actually what my work tends to be. I love that. People think like they have to spend like yeah, and it's like, no, like we can actually do something in 25 minutes that can change your entire life if your system is open to it and we've set the context, you know.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. I love that people got to hear this as well because I think one of the qualities that you bring is this lightness and joy and this really authentically being you, even when you're holding someone in a space like this, because it doesn't all need to be that serious. So thank you for bringing that, for guiding me through this. I'm gonna sit a bit more also with this energy, of course. What would you say was your biggest journey with inner child work where you mentioned a bit about how it started and how it kicked off your next years? But was there another moment, maybe a big month or a really breakthrough moment in your business where you were like, Whoa, this happened because we did this with the inner child?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, a hundred percent. So I actually was in a bit of a survival pattern with my business for a while, and I just couldn't shake the feeling like it was something deeper. And I was like, Oh, Joe, right, you know this, like there's something here, and I was working with my coach, and I was like, I keep just feeling so blocked. And I got to this place where this was actually wasn't even specific work like we just did, which I've done a ton of. It was more like, what am I believing is true? Like, what is the deep belief that's here? And I came to this belief that I learned, so I had echolepsy when I was a kid, and I internalized I internalized this belief that if people worried about me, then I was loved. And it was fucking up my life. I was in this cycle of being like, oh, I need to worry about my business, and then other people can worry about me, and then this is how I get love. And it was like, wild, it was the exact pattern I wanted to break. But until I could see this, like, I was like, oh, this is my subconscious pattern just playing out in real time. And then I was like, oh, I need to be too worried. Like if we're thriving, people are still gonna love us. And that's how deep the subconscious patterning can go, but also that's how quick it can shift when you bring it into your conscious awareness, and then you're like, Oh, and now I can do this. Like, I was you know, a little bit about my coaching business, but before I was I was kind of afraid to go to the joy. Like, I was like, no, no, I need to talk about the pain. We gotta be in the pain. People want to escape the pain. And I was kind of bored. Like, I was like, no, like I want to, I want to talk about visions and dreams and what we're bringing into reality. So honestly, uncovering that one belief really shifted something massive for me because I was like, it's a bit like where we just did together, it's safe to be joyful. And I think that people don't think about this as much because we think, well, of course it is, but for a lot of us, it didn't feel safe to be seen, it didn't feel safe to bring our joy and our light because both squashed it for whatever reason, you know. And as a child, that could happen on one day, and you can still be carrying it in your system, so it's like I think of this a little bit like magic. I'm like, whoa, this is so magical. That when you can just uncover something, it can shift your entire reality, you know.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. Yeah, it's so true. So many people think they are scared of failure, but most of them are actually scared of success. Because what happens when you actually break through, when you have everything you want, when you have the income, when you wait, not just the income, because your your internal system doesn't only count business, but it collects everything from business and love and body and health and everything combined. So, what happens if you have everything you wished for? Probably there's a belief underneath that that you won't belong anymore, that you won't fit in anymore. So, this is this is definitely one of the things that I work also a lot on with the inner millionaire, but I think there's a lot of overlap, and it's just using a different archetype on the internal system to really make sure that you evolve and that you have a different belief system because your belief system creates what you expect in life, and you don't get what you want, you get what you expect. So, yeah, thank you for bringing that in. And I would love to ask, because we were talking about the vision and you dreaming big. What is your next chapter in your own bold expansion journey? Like, what is the next thing, maybe in the next 12 months or five months? Uh sorry, five years, if you really think of going where you want to go, dream really, really big, even that if you say it out loud right now, that you are like, did I just say that?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's so this is so real, right? The saying the out loud thing is so real, and the visionary thing. What I think some people experience and I experience really, really intensely is like I'm different, and different is wrong, right? Like that's why I internalized as a child, and so I think a lot of people have this wound, and then so to claim your vision and be like, no, I'm here, and this is it, yeah. It's actually so liberating. This is why I love coaching containers for so good. So for me, I'm this year I launched my container that is devoted to vision read called Dreamer, and that for me feels so so embodied. Like since I was a little girl, I've I've been like going after my dreams, but in ways where I was always cutting them off and not fully being in it because of my own internal system. So now I being able to like build this business and move countries and embody this and and continue to embody it is so exciting. So Dreamer feels like it's gonna be my brand. Like, my brand is gonna be it's for dreamers, it's for people who are like, I'm here to make my vision a reality, and I'm here to step into the highest expression of myself and just even know what that feels like in my body. Like, how delicious. And I really want to be a thought leader. Like, I want to be on stages, I want to have a book, I want to be sharing with people how they can do this work in a way that is accessible and not so heavy, you know, and share the magic that I have and be just really selfishly in really amazing containers with really incredible people where I get to learn and grow. Like that's such a huge part of it for me, too. I do this work because I love this work and I want this work for myself as much as I want it for my clients, yeah. Yeah, so that's my big vision. Dream work. I'm about to do a challenge called Dream Woman and become an arm of it. And I can just like be in the deliciousness of being an express woman and having a business, which honestly just breaks so many cycles, it is unreal, you know.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. I cannot wait to be back in Lisbon, to be back in the women's circle with you to talk about these things on casual Tuesdays. I think it's so important to surround yourself with women or people in general, but people that really get this, because if you don't have these people around you that remind you of being a visionary, being a thought leader, really going after your dreams, then the default is to just blend in. Mediocre is already waiting for you. Like every time that you don't catch yourself, you step back into mediocre. So thank you for bringing that energy onto the podcast today for sharing this beautiful journey with the inner child work that you took me through. I think it's gonna be so juicy for me to even listen this back on my own podcast. So thank you for that. If people want to find you, if they're like, okay, this was something else, this inner child work, where do they find you?

SPEAKER_01

Sure. So my Instagram is with Joe Bell. My website is Westjo Bal.com. So either of those are beautiful places to find me. And I'm always around. So drop me a DM. I'd love to know if you've listened to it. Or if you have questions about inner child, I know it can feel like, oh, I don't know, this feels big. And I'm always available to just have a chat. So that was where I live.

SPEAKER_02

I love that. Thank you so much for being here today. You're welcome.

SPEAKER_01

It's an absolute joy. I loved it.
