This Advent, we ask the question many of us feel in seasons of waiting: “God, when are we going to get there?” Just like packed childhood road trips that felt endless, our walk with God can feel long when prayers seem unanswered and hope feels delayed.
Through the faith journey of Abraham and Sarah in Genesis, we discover a powerful truth Christmas reinforces—our hope isn’t found in the answers God gives, but in the Savior God sent, Jesus. Hope grows best in the waiting. God works even in what feels impossible. And nothing is too hard for Him.
If you’re hurting, praying, or still waiting—you’re in a safe place. Be encouraged, lean in again, and let the God of hope fill you fresh this season through the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13).
This Christmas, choose to hope in Jesus one more time. One more prayer. One more step. Because true hope always arrives right on God’s timeline.
