Some testimonies of seeing God's miracles among the humble

SPEAKER_01

Hi you guys, welcome again to Miracle Stories Podcast. My name is Katie, and this is my husband Wade. You guys were on episode 28. Can you believe it? We've already gotten to 28 episodes of miracles that Jesus has done. And we just give him all the glory for that. And we've only got two more episodes that really the Holy Spirit has put on our heart left after this. And so I really hope and pray that this podcast series has been edifying for you. I pray that you feel more rooted and established in God's love and that you're coming away with just maybe a new appreciation for all that that there's no limit to what God can do. So today we're going to pivot just a little bit and talk about humility and talk about how Jesus is drawn to the humble and the broken. And so Wade was going to just share some testimonies along that route.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, before actually we do, I'd like for you to read from Luke chapter 18. I also think about Psalm 51 that the Lord says that the sacrifice that's acceptable to him is a broken and a contrite spirit. David said, a broken and a contrite heart, oh God, you will not despise. And we can just look over our years and we can just see how the Lord is so drawn to humility. Of course, we know the word says that he gives grace to the humble and he resists the proud. But I thought it'd be appropriate just to read this one passage just to be a platform to the testimonies we're going to share today.

SPEAKER_01

So this is from Luke chapter 18, verses 9 through 14. To someone were confident of their own righteousness and looked down on everyone else. Jesus told this parable. Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector. The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed, Oh, God, I thank you that I'm not like other people. Rumbers, evildoers, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. I'm gonna be famous twice a week, and I give a tenth of all again. But the tax collector stood at a distance. He would not even look up to heaven. But he beat his breast and said, God have mercy on me, a sinner. I tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and those who humble themselves will be exalted.

SPEAKER_02

Amen. Yeah, we we have just bore witness, bear witness through the years of watching God his glory, especially among the most humble people that we've ever met. And the first one is I want to share today, is coming from India. And I want Katie just to we we we want to give a shout out to Matthew and Hannah and Shinna and Presana and Ronnie, this amazing family. But I actually I met them because of Katie. Yeah. Yeah, it was how many years ago?

SPEAKER_01

So I think it was around 15 or maybe a little bit more years ago. I had the opportunity of traveling to India with my friend Alicia and my friend Lee to visit a ministry. Of really, it's just one family that is so precious. And they just really felt that God had called them to orphans, widows, and lepers. And really, it doesn't get much humbler than those three categories, honestly. And this family themselves were not wealthy, but they really just decided to give everything they had to reach those people in the untouchable class of India for Jesus. And boy, the work that they're doing was just mind-blowing and so beautiful. You know, they'd taken in um probably several, I'm gonna guess, over 20 orphans at the time I was there, living with them in a very tight space. And at the same time they had like um a place where widows could go and learn how to sew and sell handicrafts, and a place for for lepers to come and get food and have a place to create art that this family would then sell for them so that they would be able to make some sort of an income in a place where most people never speak to them or look at them. You know, they are just treated like just the scum or the refuge of the earth. Um, this family, for the sake of Jesus, just took them in and showed them the love of Jesus. I don't think it gets much closer to the heart of God than that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so Katie came back chained just for that impact to that ministry and really was perseverance the way you need to go.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I kept going. For years I told him, Wade, you need to go, you need to meet this family, you need to meet Chinna. Because I felt like Chinna would be such a kindred spirit to my husband, Wade. Um, and my husband's heart and my heart is to reach the end of the earth with the gospel. We just have a real heart for people who have no access to God's word, people who want to reach the ends of the earth where Jesus has not been made known. That is really our deepest heart and our deepest calling and desire. So I just knew that Chinna would be a person that we could partner with because that was also Chinna's desire.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so I was just amazed and blown away when I'm so thankful Kate was persevering to go, and I was deeply humbled by what I witnessed, and uh I was blessed to have my dad come this most recent trip with Bob. But just to what Katie has said, you know, we've been in a lot of ministry venues, big ones, hundreds, thousands, and I can say that there's been a few times I felt the presence of God more strongly than in a room full of lepers worshiping Jesus, um, who many can't walk, missing limbs, missing fingers, legs, but full of the Holy Spirit, full of joy, and so grateful for the little that they were given with food and soap, uh, things just to sustain them. Even as Paul said, with food and clothing, let's be content with these things. And they showed more than contentment, it was just overwhelming gratitude. Yeah, I just would cry, uh, just being in the presence of God with these lepers and can only imagine one day in heaven. Well, many of them get their new bodies, what's gonna how wonderful it's gonna be.

SPEAKER_01

I think many of these lepers were so full of love for Jesus Wade because I learned that many of them contracted leprosy when they were going on pilgrimage for Hinduism to appease their false God, they were told to do like really long, long, long, long like um pilgrimages crawling on their knees. Many of them, hands and knees. And so, in doing so, you know, going all the way to the Ganges River or whatever, they were contracting leprosy through the filth of the soil there.

SPEAKER_02

And then the only one that was taking them in after they were diseased was Christians.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so when they met Jesus, they were like, wow, we don't have to do anything, like it's already been done for us. He just loves us the way we are.

SPEAKER_02

It is finished, it's a finished. Such a carriable testimony.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So we were just so blessed by this family, and we sent our love to them even now. Um just amazing humble servants in that regard. So, this testimony that I want to share with different just different three different groups of just humble people that God draws near and his grace is poured out, and one of them was there. And so, China had asked me to go with him and his dad, his brother, to a really remote area where there are pastors working in a difficult area uh with persecution. And so we went in this really remote area, and uh beautiful men of God that were there, sisters in Christ. Um, the family of God is amazing. Yeah, it is truly amazing. The best, amazing, famous family in the world. And I was just so blessed by all of their humility. These are no names in the eyes of the world. Uh, you don't see them on the internet, you don't see them getting any kind of subscribers or whatever. They're just humble servants.

SPEAKER_01

There's gonna be a lot of wake-up calls in the kingdom of heaven, isn't there?

SPEAKER_02

I mean, the the reward in heaven is gonna be really amazing. Yeah, these people are gonna have quite a reward. So truly um it's a cause for all of us to pause and say, what are we, what's our motive? Yeah, what are we living for? And they're truly doing it as unto the Lord. I can tell you that. So as we were ministering in this pastor's conference, I had an opportunity at one point to say that's if you want prayer, come forward. And one man came, uh, there was a couple, but one came forward that stuck out to me. I want to share this. So while the pastors were kind of out taking a break or whatever, this uh pastor named Isaac came forward, and I didn't notice the issue that he was gonna ask for because he was wearing long sleeves, but um he was involved in some kind of an accident with a machine where it grabbed his arm and it pulled it into it and it destroyed his muscles up through his shoulder all the way down, and so they never healed right, and his arm just became atrophied with all of the damage, and he it just kind of hung beside his arm by his body. He could raise it a little bit, but it was just really minimal, and it was almost useless. And I remember his prayer request was not even for himself, he was brokenhearted because he couldn't finish constructing the church building. That was what he was most brokenhearted for and wanted prayer for to be able to complete the building. And I that just that's astounding. I'm sorry, that that just struck me so powerfully that it wasn't even about himself. And I think about C.S. Lewis's um famous quote on humility that humility is not thinking less of yourself, it's thinking of yourself less. It's not like I'm this, I'm nothing. No, that that can be actually a false humility, but a true humility is you don't even think about yourself, you just want to serve people, other people, loving other people, and that's just what this man exemplified. And uh so we prayed. I didn't know what to expect, what was gonna happen, but we prayed in faith, and the power of God went into this man's arm. And right there, in the name of Jesus, as we finished, his arm, I said, try to do something, and he lifted his arm right up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, thank you, Lord.

SPEAKER_02

And obviously he was celebrating, but that wasn't the end of it. Now, this is an arm that was so atrophied he could barely do anything with it. One of the first things he did was he went over and that as he was testing different things, we said, Let's testify in front of all the brothers when they come back. So when the other pastors came back, we called him up to come forward, and what he did was to come forward, he was holding a thick Bible that what he had would have had to have used in his good arm, and now he had the strength to hold and carry that Bible in this arm that was totally atrophied, and it was so powerful, so he was just it was such a testament to the glory of God. He carried it up there and he shared about what the Lord had done, and he's pulling the word of God, and right there he picks up uh uh a chair and he does like a side lateral and lifts it up, and all the brothers started clapping. We were rejoicing and giving glory to God, and it was the Lord, I believe, honoring this humble man's prayer to go back and to be uh to finish that that building, that church building that he wanted to build. Wow, thank you right there in our presence, immediately to go from heart just hanging on the side of his body to carrying a Bible to lifting up a chair, undeniable, to the glory of God, instantaneous, powerful testimony of the of the Lord's um power in answering the prayer. So praise be the Lord. And there's many more, but that's just one that we wanted to share concerning India. The second one was I was humbled by the humility of the Japanese. I went with a dear friend Jeff, and he was involved with Samaritan's Purse. Some of you remember the devastating tsunami that took place years and years ago. Um, I'm trying to think what year that was, but he was with Samaritan's Purse, and they had done a lot of restoration with all the houses that were damaged. And I was not there for that, but I had the privilege and the honor of going after these houses have been built and to see the tremendous gratitude of the Japanese for how their houses were rebuilt. I mean, wow, such grateful people. You would have thought that you had done something so much more than just rebuild a house. It was it was very humbling. But we came into one church meeting, and uh we we let them know, they let them know that we're gonna pray for the sick, who those are sick. And there was uh several that came forward, and I remember this. What struck out to me about the humility, you know. I don't I guess I almost had a preconceived idea that maybe God wouldn't do many miracles among the Japanese. It's amazing how you can just box God in.

SPEAKER_01

Right?

SPEAKER_02

When God is God.

SPEAKER_01

Why would you think that?

SPEAKER_02

I don't I don't I you know sometimes we think maybe about this how sophisticated they are. Oh, okay. And the rat, but there I'm gonna tell you the Japanese when we met, they were so hungry and childlike and and humble. So, anyways, woman came forward. I said, What what what does he need prayer for? She said, I I cannot, it was not an atrophy thing. She had some kind of a damage to her shoulder area, so she could not lift her arm up. And uh I said, uh, I felt led to ask her, as we've talked about in a previous podcast, uh, forgiveness.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Is there someone that you need to forgive? And immediately she was convicted, and she said, Yes, my husband. Uh he had been um emotionally and verbally abusive, had been really bad. She had shared some of the testimonies, and so we said, you know, about again, forgiveness is a choice. Yeah, it's not an emotion. Are you willing to forgive what he has done to you? Because God wants you free. And this bitterness is just we talked about this bondage.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And so uh she said, I'm willing to forgive. And we said, and she prayed out, I forgive him, Laura, I give him to you. We prayed over her, and the power of God went into this woman. She felt she lifted her arm right up. Oh Jesus, she's moving all around, and I'll I'll never forget how happy. Well, she was weeping, also. But just the childlikeness, like she kept going like and then the woman next to her also ended up getting healed. They were like, look at each other like that. Like it was like so like childlike, you know. I mean, she was like 60 years old, but it was just childlike faith, humility that that Jesus had touched her.

SPEAKER_03

Wow, crazy.

SPEAKER_02

And um, anyway, it would she just went around the room just showing everybody tears, people. The other thing that struck me was how they all celebrated with her.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, yeah, they're just happy for her.

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, like truly, rejoice with those who rejoice is a sign of humility.

SPEAKER_01

Yes, that's true.

SPEAKER_02

Sometimes you're like, oh, that's maybe I didn't get what I wanted, but they were all so exuberant. It was like it was like this great, like Praise the Lord. Yeah, that's humility also.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Are we excited when God blesses somebody else?

SPEAKER_02

That's it.

SPEAKER_01

So true.

SPEAKER_02

Such such a great testimony.

SPEAKER_01

So true. I know a friend like that in my church who herself, Sharon, Sharon, my dear friend, Miss Sharon, she's been uh dealing with a lot of physical limitations for a lot of years. But there was she was so happy for me when God healed me.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's a great example.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she's so humble.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, Sharon's really humble. She just rejoices no matter who it is. That's a great that's a that's a great example.

SPEAKER_01

And there's not gonna be anybody more excited than me when she gets healed. Except for her husband, probably.

SPEAKER_02

And her, maybe.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and her.

SPEAKER_02

Um the last one I wanted to share, you know, we we had spent years with the Lakota, uh, living among uh ministry among them for four and a half years, and they are some of the most humble people that we have ever met. I mean humble people.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, truly.

SPEAKER_02

Um we we they I get humbled when I'm around uh many of our local people. Well, the Christian Lakota. But even none. I I have I've I've been amazed how humble they are. All I'm all of them. I think it's just such a testimony. So um, and I want to connect this with people sometimes say, well, how you know, if God is doing miracles and healing, why doesn't why doesn't it happen in hospitals? Well, I think many times in many hospitals, he's not invited into them, to be honest. Um, but let me tell you of a couple testimonies closing out here that happened in a hospital in the the one in Pine Ridge. We had come in and asked the staff, hey, uh, you know, is it okay we're from you know this church down the road? Is it okay if we just come in and pray for anybody who would want prayer uh in here? And they graciously said yes, and we honor them and we honor their work and their labor. I mean it's a weird job. Nurses and doctors, we we honor them, all that they do, and they're amazing, precious people. So we tried to bring in like maybe like some cookies or something, snacks, whatever. And uh they they allowed us to go. You know, we said if they don't want prayer, then we'll just move to the next room. Well, I was amazed. We rarely ever were turned down. People consistently said, yes, you can pray for me. And let me just share a couple of standout testimonies from that time. Uh a dear brother Russ, that we we know, Russ and Pam. Russ came out and said, I want to go out with you. And he had to drive all the Sioux Falls.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, long drive.

SPEAKER_02

Uh you know, but if you want to see the Lord, you'll go anywhere. That's right. I love Russ his heart as I want to see the glory of God. So we he drove all the way out, and we were in there ministering together, and uh we came to this one guy, Raymond. We walked in, I could sense the atmosphere. When you saw his arm, it was really swollen uh and full of infection.

SPEAKER_03

Oof.

SPEAKER_02

It looked like a horrible staph infection.

SPEAKER_03

Awful.

SPEAKER_02

And uh it was so swollen that he could barely move it.

SPEAKER_03

Wow.

SPEAKER_02

And I remember even like some of the skin looking like it was like that, you know, like when you get like it looked like it was gonna split. And uh I, you know, obviously this is a very um dangerous situation. Yes, so you could feel the anxiety on him. So Russ and I prayed, and the first thing that I noticed when we prayed for him was peace come into the room and upon his face. And uh we've talked about how that's the greater miracle as the heart and the mind of the presence of God comes. We said we want to pray again for you. And uh this is what we've talked about before Jesus has watched and pray, and I often don't do that, and and I have missed seeing God's glory by keeping my eyes closed. But Russ had his arm, his hand on his arm, and his arm was not just swollen, but was hot, you know, as you know what happens with infection. Yes that he that was that just exudes off of that that area. So he had his arm, I mean his hand resting on this man's arm, Raymond, and Russ got to feel it. I did not see anything what happened after, but my eyes were closed. We were praying, but as we're praying for like whatever four or five minutes, Russ felt his hand go down. Wow right there, yeah instantaneously.

SPEAKER_01

Praise God.

SPEAKER_02

And when we finished in the name of Jesus said amen, we looked down and the arm was visibly smaller. I don't know how, okay, you just can't wrap your mind. Yeah, like where did it go? That kind of a miracle, what happens before you? But right there, Raymond looked down in astonishment and shock and began to move his arm around. The swelling had so dissolved that he could now move his arm around right there before, and obviously it opened the door for the gospel. It was awesome to see what God did. And uh the Lord alone gets all the glory. You just let it be an encouragement. The Lord is the same. That is nothing not by the work of any man or manipulation or mental estate to get yourself to, or some kind of a um, I don't know, like just it's Jesus. Positive thinking. No, it's just miraculous, it's Jesus. So let me just I'll close with these. I I I told, you know, we've talked about this before, like it's important that you write down things so that you don't embellish or exaggerate or miss details that you could have uh said for the glory of God. And so I I I wrote these things down when they happened because it's amazing, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it is.

SPEAKER_02

That even after years you can you can forget if you don't write.

SPEAKER_01

Write things down and you can forget details.

SPEAKER_02

Some of these are really precious details. So let me let me just finish with these short ones. We went at um this is again in the hospital, praying over a woman named Colleen. Diabetic, had s because of that diabetes, had gotten neuropathy and had lost feeling in one of her feet and uh could not feel it. That's a very dangerous, dangerous place, as you know. And so we asked if we could pray for her, but she also actually had some severe stomach issues, and I I didn't know what the Lord was gonna do. I was definitely believing for her stomach to be healed, but with her foot, not sure, not diabetes. So we prayed over her uh the first time, and um didn't see anything really dramatically happen. Prayed over a second time, and when we had finished, she said, Look at my toe. And the toe that she couldn't feel was spazzing, moving back and forth on her on its own. It was obviously she was shocked, this is not normal, and uh but but more than that, as it was doing that, spazzing, um obviously I believe faith is getting stirred in all of our hearts. So she invited a third time. So we prayed a third time, prayed again, and then Jesus touched her, and then she exclaimed, I can feel coldness, I can feel my foot, which you could not feel before. And uh the joy that came on her was so beautiful, and uh she was giving thanks and praise to the Lord for what God had done in her, which is just an awesome testimony. The last one I'll share uh was a person named Avis. She was in a car accident, she's about 60, mid-60s, and she actually had rods going through her leg because it broke her her uh femur in several places, all wrapped up. Um and um we prayed, couldn't see anything because of the rod. I mean, we don't know what God's doing in that, but we did ask her again is there anything else that you would need prayer for besides the obvious? And she said very humbly, I'd love to be able to comb my hair. And we of course it doesn't even cross your mind like why can't you comb your hair? Well, she had because of the accident had dislocated her shoulder, she was not able to get her hand to her head, and that was a big deal to her. So she asked if we would pray for that, and uh so we prayed that the Lord would touch her, and uh um as we prayed, the power of God went to her body, and we said, Hey, just try it, and sure enough, right there, I don't know what the Lord did, but something got loose or put right in its right place, and she was lifted her hand, she was moving her hand above, exaggerating above what she could do before, even on her other side of her head, and she was so overjoyed, so happy. Um, in fact, yeah, I don't know why I say something some. I said to her, do something you couldn't do before. And the whole time she's moving, she's like, Everything I'm doing I couldn't do before. It was kind of like foolish for me to ask that question. Anyway, she she was just so full of happiness, and um and then I I asked her, I said, Um, you know, Abis, this is just a demonstration that God loves you, Jesus loves you. And uh she said, and that's why I write these things down, just direct quotes. I want to know, remember the exact quotes. She said, I've heard, I've heard that, but I didn't really know. And uh I told her about how Jesus died for her for her sins and rose from the dead. And she said, quote, I've just felt the need to pick up the scriptures recently and read them. Wow, and the Lord just verified, confirmed that by his power touching her in that way.

SPEAKER_01

So wow, I actually have another testimony before you close.

SPEAKER_02

Go for it.

SPEAKER_01

Is that okay?

SPEAKER_02

Amen.

SPEAKER_01

I was when Weed was sharing, I was actually just thinking because we started off with that testimony about the lepers. And actually, this entire series, all these 28, in the back of my mind, I have kept thinking, I want to share this story about the first encounter that I had with lepers. Um, but I've never felt a time that I could do it, it just didn't seem the right time. But I felt like God's saying, right now, just want to share a really quick testimony. When Wade and I were um not even married yet, we were on a team together overseas in Tanzania with Youth with the Mission. With Youth with a Mission. So we were on our DTS, our three-month trip overseas. And while we were there, um one day, for some reason, Wade and I were out alone doing evangelism, right? Think what is it for you?

SPEAKER_02

Lamech.

SPEAKER_01

Lamec. And so we were with one other African and walking around doing ministry. I guess we were just praying. I don't know what we were doing.

SPEAKER_02

It was prayer walking, I think.

SPEAKER_01

Prayer walking or something, but we came across um this like this like a valley. Like a valley, yeah, that's the best way to describe it. Like a valley. So you walk down into this valley, and it was a leper colony. And I had never in my life encountered this. I was just 20 years old, and um never in my wildest dreams had I ever imagined myself going to a leper colony, but there I was um almost what you would think of, you know, it was people with limbs missing, noses missing, ears missing, you know, legs missing, just with leprosy. And um, it's a really horrible, horrible disease.

SPEAKER_02

In fact, remember they were only allowed to come up once a week.

SPEAKER_01

Yep, they were allowed to come up into the city once a week to beg for money and food, and the rest of the week they were on their own and they had to stay confined to this particular leper colony. Well, the thing that broke my heart so much was seeing the children that were living with their parents there who had not yet contracted leprosy, but there they were living there um with their moms and dads. And you knew that it was only a matter of time they were gonna get it.

SPEAKER_02

When we went down there to pray for these lepers, I had never seen anything like that either. It was completely blew my mind. Uh I don't remember this. We were praying over different ones, and that one woman came up to me. I do remember and she said, You don't know how much this is to us. You make us feel like we're human again.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, that's right. I remember that. And you guys, this was such a long time ago, but that woman made such an impression on us. She was like, She was like, Thank you for actually coming down and like touching us and praying over us, giving us hugs, because you make me feel human again. Like nobody wants to talk to us or see us.

SPEAKER_02

So that was the first time that we were with them, and then we came back another day, and that's from the second time.

SPEAKER_01

I didn't remember that. Yeah, I was four times. Okay, so we came back and we're there in the leper colony, and I remember that you guys, this is the dry season in Africa. And anyone who hasn't been to Africa, um, you might not know this, but it'll go for nine months, and not a single drop of rain will will fall during the dry season. Five months, it's a it's it's a long period of time. It's a long stretch of time where there's zero rain. Rain just doesn't come in the dry season. But this this snake oil salesman had come.

SPEAKER_02

I think it was actually a witch doctor.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, was he?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that's what Lamech said. This is a witch doctor.

SPEAKER_01

So this guy had come down and he was asking people for money and trying to sell them a cure for leprosy, which we could tell. I mean, just we could tell that this was just nonsense. It was nonsense, it was fully junk.

SPEAKER_02

It was like taking the little money they had.

SPEAKER_01

Right, they barely had anything, and they were of course giving them their money, giving him their money to get this medicine. And so my heart um became so filled with indignation and sorrow. And I was like, Lord, Jesus. I mean, Wade and I are just standing there in disbelief at first, but then we just thought to ourselves, well, we're just gonna start praying in English because they can't understand us. But we're gonna just cry out to the Lord right now.

SPEAKER_03

With Lamech, too.

SPEAKER_01

With Lamech. So my husband and I, who was we weren't yet married, but we just started to pray out in English.

SPEAKER_02

Stop the lies, Lord.

SPEAKER_01

God, just stop this man, shut this man's mouth, Lord. Stop them, God, fight for these people. And um, no one, of course, knew what we were saying, but this is what we were saying. You guys, tell what happened.

SPEAKER_02

It was uh I don't remember any clouds in the sky.

SPEAKER_01

There wasn't a cloud in the sky.

SPEAKER_02

I did not. So we were witnesses, Lameka's a witness, and obviously what happened. It was a cloud that came right over right around where we were. It was not like an overcast. There was it was like one like just renting. One cloud. It just didn't get cloud right up. And it started dumping, right? Because the wish doctor had like electrical equipment. Yeah, he was like had a like a microphone and speakers. He had like people placed in the audience to try to like sell. Oh, this is this worked for me.

SPEAKER_01

It was like a complete totally cake.

SPEAKER_02

And so the I mean, just started pouring.

SPEAKER_00

Buckets, you guys, and you could see the line. The line of brain.

SPEAKER_02

Right, like right around the other. It was just right.

SPEAKER_00

It was only on the lepers and on this man's equipment. On his equipment.

SPEAKER_02

And uh we were like, damn, we were like shot in the rain.

SPEAKER_00

Everywhere else except for on this man and around this area.

And then he sort of like they started panicking, like the lepers, obviously they were people looking for shelter. But it started ruining his electric equipment.

SPEAKER_01

That's right. And we were looking like quick to leave and waiting now, dancing in the electricity.

SPEAKER_00

That was so amazing. That was that was a fun miracle.

SPEAKER_02

That was yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It was probably our first miracle that we got to witness together.

SPEAKER_02

Probably.

SPEAKER_01

That was so cool.

SPEAKER_02

We were rejoicing. I actually, when we came back to America, I actually shared that in front of Bethel.

SPEAKER_01

I remember, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

That's so cool. Anyway, God's so good.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, great.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, he is such a good, he's a father who I think he can't resist the brokenhearted. Like he really, really does want to work on their behalf.

SPEAKER_02

May we humble ourselves.

SPEAKER_01

So yeah. Anyway, so that to close out this powerful episode and these powerful testimonies, I also wanted to say that um aside from the miracles, the bona fide miracles that we've just heard, there's also something that is so precious when you're in that place of total brokenness and humility before God, because you don't have the answers. You know that you in a and of yourself can do nothing about maybe a circumstance that you find yourself in. Maybe you're finding yourself in a really painful marriage or a really difficult situation, maybe with one of your children, or maybe there's an unanswered prayer, or something that's really hurting your heart. And you've come to the place where you realize, like, God, I can't do it. I can't do anything. I'm so humble before you, God, that you are the God of you are the God of the impossible. There's nothing that is impossible for you. And I'm fully yielding myself to you and um laying myself open before you. I don't know, but it I can only speak for myself. There are many, many times in my life in deep brokenness and in um just poverty of spirit, where I'm just crying out for God to just come and be God on my behalf. And he does so often, he does. You know, he just he cannot, I don't think, resist a broken heart. And even if your situation maybe might not immediately change, when you come to God with a brokenness in your heart, with a humility, right? Acknowledging your weakness, I do feel the grace of God comes to be at least the lifter of your head. You know? And so on that note, I just want to close out in prayer for. Yeah, Father, I just want to say thank you so very much for each and every single person, Lord, that is in our listening audience, those who will hear this. Father, you know what they're believing you for. And so, God, we stand with them right now. We're just asking for you. Would you come and just meet them in their brokenness, meet them in their humility before you? We just say, God, there's nothing we can do in our own strength. There is nothing we can do about these situations that we find ourselves in. But God, you are the God of the impossible. There's nothing too difficult for you. So I'm asking for you, would you come and just bring your presence into these lives, Lord? Would you show them a way out or a way through, God? Would you show them the answers, Lord? Would you bring a breakthrough in their health or in their finances or in their marriages, Lord, with their children? God, we're just laying this on your altar before you. Thanking you, Father, that you are near the brokenhearted. You save the Christian spirit. Lord, I just want to say thank you for being so merciful, so kind, so good. In the name of Jesus, amen.
