Short 3-minute video.  Walking with God is the daily, intentional choice to live in close fellowship with Him—listening, trusting, and aligning your steps with His heart. Scripture gives us beautiful examples of this kind of relationship. “Enoch walked with God… and he was not; for God took him” (Genesis 5:23–24). His life shows that walking with God is not about perfection but about deep, steady companionship with the Lord. It is a life marked by closeness, obedience, and a desire to stay near the One who leads us.

Noah is another powerful picture of this journey. In Genesis 6:9, the Bible says, “Noah was a just man and perfect in his generations, and Noah walked with God.” Even in a corrupt world, Noah chose a different path—a path of faithfulness. Walking with God means allowing His voice to guide your decisions, His character to shape your actions, and His presence to steady your heart. It is choosing God’s direction even when the world moves in the opposite direction.

This kind of walk is only possible through the power of the Holy Spirit. The prophet Micah declared, “But truly I am full of power by the Spirit of the Lord” (Micah 3:8). When we walk with God, we don’t walk in our own strength—we walk in His. This short 3‑minute God’s Promises video podcast with Pastor Ed Brady encourages believers to take each step with purpose, knowing God walks beside them. Hello. Today we're talking about walking with God. First, we open with prayer and then a question. Father, thank you for giving us the opportunity to make this video, to honor you, to glorify you. Thank you, Holy Spirit, for showing me what to say, how to say it, and how we can do our best for you every day, Lord. In Jesus' name, amen. Now that question: What does it mean to walk with God? What does it mean to walk with God? In the Bible, there are several people described as walking with God, beginning with Enoch in Genesis 5, 23 and 24. So all the days of Enoch were 365 years. Can you imagine living 365 years? We can't imagine that. By today's uh, what is it called? Life expectancy. By today's life expectancy, most people pass away by 70 and 365, completely out of the question, right? And Enoch walked with God, and then he was not, for God took him up to heaven. In Genesis 6.9, it tells us that Noah is also described as a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked with God. And because he was a righteous man, and God noticed that, they said that he was preparing to destroy the earth by flood, but God did not destroy Noah and his family by flood. He was able to walk with God, Noah, and Noah gained favor with God by his lifestyle, by his faith. Micah 6.8 gives us a glimpse into God's desire and directions for us. He's telling us what he needs from us. He has shown you, mortal man, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God. Walking with God has to be close to our heart. Remember, walking with God is one, a choice, two, a lifestyle, and three, walking with God is a calling from God. So when God calls you, make sure you're willing to say yes. God bless you.
