Have you ever opened your Bible and thought, where do I even start? Or maybe you've wanted to be more consistent lately, or maybe you're having a hard time understanding what you're reading. Maybe you're having a hard time actually having it grow your faith. And I just can really relate to all these things because I used to be there too. And I know how life gets busy. I know how studying your Bible and spending time in your Bible isn't always the most fun thing that we want to do, but we also know how important it is. And so if that sounds familiar, if you feel like you could resonate with any one of those things, today's episode is definitely for you because I am going to be sharing everything you need to know about the Bible study made simple community and how it can help you finally learn about the Bible, stay consistent in it, and really grow your faith. So I really feel like starting my Bible study journey, I was super overwhelmed. I didn't really have a community or have any support. I was, it was last year, and I was figuring out, okay, like how am I gonna study the Bible? Like, what am I gonna do? So I just spent hours and hours and hours listening to different podcasts, consuming different books, trying to really understand everything that I needed to figure out an actual plan, a process, a strategy to do Bible study and not just do it at all, but to do it in a way where it really did transform my life, transform my faith, help me grow as a person, connect with God more. And so I'm just really excited because I really feel like this community has been everything that I ever needed. And I believe that it's gonna be everything that other people have been looking for too, to have that real support system as well and to be around women who really care about them and want to see them succeed and also have the strategy and the mindset and the heart behind it to really succeed in their Bible study. So I really believe that this is why God led me to create this community. And since the beginning of me starting these platforms and sharing my faith online, he keeps telling me and has kept telling me like people really need community. They really need that so much, and you need to create a community, create a community. And so this is the community that God really did lead me to create. And I am just so excited to be able to help women stop feeling overwhelmed about the Bible or intimidated by it and really feel like they can use it in their everyday lives. And I'm your host, Whitney. I am a fellow Jesus Lover, wife, mama, and your Bible study bestie. And I'm so glad that God brought you here today. It is just so important for us, and I can't wait to dive in. So let's get started. So, we are gonna start with why God led me to create this community. So, again, when I started my Bible study journey, I felt super overwhelmed, very intimidated by it. I had no idea what tools to use. I had no idea what questions I should ask myself. I was trying all these different plans that I felt like didn't really impact my life. It was like crossing something off a to-do list, but I didn't actually get a lot of value from it, if that makes sense. It was a lot of like education without a lot of application. And for me personally, I really want the Bible to feel like it can transform my life. It can grow my faith, it can make me become a better person, it can make me become more like Jesus. So those are the things that I've specifically set out to do to help people with and really help them feel like they have a step process, step-by-step process that they can do when they're at home, where you don't need to go to church to know how to read your Bible. You can do it on your own at any time and feel like you can get something from it. And a lot of you might already own Bibles or study tools or devotional books or different resources, right? But maybe they're not serving you in the way that it really should, or maybe it's just you're missing a key aspect. And a lot of times, those key aspects that people are missing is number one, consistency. They're not staying committed to their Bible reading, especially every day. Maybe they feel just super intimidated, like these tools are helpful in a way, but they're not actually helping you become the confident Bible studier that you deserve to be, right? And then a lot of times the third thing that people are missing is the application. Maybe they're learning these things, or maybe they feel like they can read about, you know, God or Jesus, but they don't actually see like how can this be applied to my life? What am I supposed to learn from this? How can I transform myself through these different things? So that is really why I created this community because I want people to stop feeling overwhelmed, to stop starting and stopping Bible study because they don't feel like they get anything from it, stop feeling like they don't know where to begin and they actually do know where to begin, right? And wanting the support, wanting the accountability, wanting the community, wanting to be surrounded by other women of strong faith and not having it to having that. So that is really why I feel like God led me to create this community. So throughout this podcast episode today, I am gonna actually read some actual testimonials from people who have joined the community. And so far, we already have over 10 women inside, and it's just such a special community, and I want it to be just such a great, safe, and supportive space. And that is what Chesney said here. She said, I love all of it. I love being a part of something so wonderful, empowering, and full of love and support. And I know for me, if I was looking for a Bible study community, I would want to feel all those things too. I would want to be around a place that is wonderful, empowering, and full of love and support. That is something I try to do every day, whether it's in my free content or my paid content, any anything that I'm doing, even in the DMs, in in the, you know, in the lives that I do and anything I'm doing, I want to make sure that I come across that way and create a safe space for that. So women do feel empowered and like they are loved and they are seen. And I got such an emotional message the other day from someone on TikTok who I talked to. And, you know, she was just like, I can't believe you even, you know, reached out to me and responded to me. You made me feel so seen at a time in my life where things are really low and I feel really overlooked. And she's got a very tough situation, and I'm gonna be praying for her. But it just reminded me like people just want to feel seen. They want to feel valued, they want to feel like they're not just a number, right? And I truly feel like I try to do that within every one of my resources because I do truly care about you and I want to see you succeed. I want you to see, I want to see you grow in your faith and become transformed and become a better version of yourself. So that is the first one I started off with. Okay. So section number two here is who is this community for? This community is for Christian women who number one, want to understand the Bible better. Number two, want to stay consistent in Bible study, reading their Bible, opening their Bible. Number three, want guidance when they open the Bible to know exactly what to do. Who number four want to ask honest questions without feeling judged about the Bible. A lot of times when we're learning about the Bible or we are newer, or maybe we're not even newer, but it's just something that hasn't been taught. A lot of people feel like they can feel uncomfortable asking honest questions, you know, or and I like literally say, like in the group entry form, like there are no dumb questions here. Like there, this is a safe space where we're not going to be judged because it's so important for that. And number five, they want a supportive space to grow in their faith and want that encouragement and accountability and empowerment and all those things. And the last one is that they don't want to do Bible study alone. Bible study, it is very important that we take the daily time to do it by ourselves and have that quiet time with God and mark it in our calendars and do all the things, but also we have to do it around community too, to really learn from it, to talk through different things, to grow in our faith. And so it's so important. So here is the second testimonial from someone inside the community. Her name is Susan. The first girl's name was Chesney.
