This is good this segment, by the way, is gonna be called The NFL Tonight. Okay? I like it. So back in the back in the 70s, 80s, before my time, before I times, but it's a um there used to be a show called The NFL Today, and that was a big thing. It was coming on Sunday mornings or Saturday mornings, I can't remember, but uh we're the NFL tonight, so you know, there we are. NFL tonight. I like it. Let's go. NFL segment. Um we're gonna start out with uh division winners. We're gonna pick each we're gonna pick pick each division winner, and we're gonna pick uh our uh Super Super Bowl picks as well. So anyway, going to the AFC East here, the fur our first division now on in on the NFL Tonight Show, season two. Season two um goes Look, I've got the Bills winning this. Now, y'all have y'all seen their new stadium everybody's bitching about that they they built like two billion dollar uh Could have done a little better. Two be two billion dollar stadium and you know there's a a bunch of obstructed seats. Could you imagine if you spent I mean, hell, how much are NFL I mean uh NFL season tickets now? You spent thousands of dollars on your NFL season tickets and you get up there and you buy a speaker that you have to pick your wife on your on your shoulder for her to see over. I mean, could you imagine? Um anyway, new coach, they show well, they fired uh they they showed they fired Sean McDermott, who I thought was a coach. Pretty good coach. I mean, did he did he land anywhere? I don't think anybody hired him. Not that I know of. They well, a couple years ago, they know they they fired Ken Dorsey. He was off of the coordinator, so kind of he kind of fell on the sword. Then you know how it goes, uh they kind of underperformed the next year or two, then the head coach got fired. But I mean, I don't I still don't understand how do you fire somebody that has gone freaking 12 and 2 every year. I mean, it it's hard to win the playoffs. There's been great, great quarterbacks, like, you know, held damn Reno just to for for uh for starters who never won a Super Bowl. It's hard to win the playoffs. Like to fire him was kind of I don't know, I thought it was weird.

Yeah, I mean they they lost to Patrick Mahomes. Anyway, I think the I'd like the Bills to win this division. The Patriots They've kind of had a weird offseason. Dinah Russini, uh Mike Vrabels can't uh keep his keep his legs closed. Um They got a very, very, very, very tough schedule. I was wanting to bet on them on my win total bets because I won on them last year. They were like seven or eight wins on the win total. Easy money. They won eleven or twelve games. I just couldn't do it. Man, their schedule is very tough. Like I said, weird offseason. I just know something something just They got AJ now though. Yeah, well I did forget about that. Look, the Jets and Dolphins are bad. We're not even we're not even I'm not even gonna talk about these other two teams in this division. It's all about the Bills and Patriots. Um I'm going with the old school. I'm going with the I'm going with the Bills, yeah.

I'm wanting to be talking about somebody having no ass. This guy literally he's he shits out of a hole the size of a uh a tin nickel, man. I don't know. He has like it's like back. There's no nothing.

Yeah, well, I think Joe Burrow and them are gonna do really good this year. And um I'm gonna I think the Beagles.

But it's Burrow healthy though. I'm a Burrow fan. I'm not necessarily a Burrow fan. Like I bel I I know he's a good quarterback, is a good quarterback. The last three or four years. He's not played enough. He's not he's I mean, come on.

Well, what about the other quarterbacks in that division?

And they signed a bunch of they signed a bunch of offensive linemen. Oh no, I'm coming back to that. They signed, they they got his old line better, but he it's always like freak stuff with him, and his defense was terrible there a couple years. Um But you're right, I mean, you got uh the Browns, they're bad. They got Shadura Sanders gonna start. Um what about that contract they gave Deshaun Watson? I mean, and look, I would have given it to him too. He was awesome. Yeah. Um Pittsburgh, you got uh Aaron Rodgers back for one more ride. And Ravens, you got another kind of injury-prone quarterback, um Lamar. I mean this is a toss-up division here. I ended up picking the Ravens. Ravens have a new coach, too. Uh they can't leave they fired Harbaugh what they did.

I always thought that Aaron Rodgers had a tumultuous or however you say that word, relationship with Mike McCarthy. He kind of Aaron, I thought, kind of got McCarthy ran out of Green Bay. Evidently that was not the case because Aaron was like, yeah, he was finna retire. He's like, well, I got McCarthy. And it may have been a familiarity type deal, I don't know. Or he may he or maybe Aaron didn't realize what he had until it was gone. You know, Mike Tomlins, a defensive coach, and he was was with the Jets. I mean, um we watched tonight play, by the way. Me and NFL Bland he lost a bet on our first bet of the year.

He's uh our offenses were great when he was there. I mean, to be honest with you. Levi's a Cowboys fan, too. And just for reference, this is a we got an Anks fan in between us. But um like I said, Ravens. I don't know. This is And look, the la NFL has these years. Some years are like what I call good years, the games are entertaining and stuff like that. The past couple years they've been pretty good. Now we have some years where like it's just not a good year. Like there's a bunch of penalties and bad quarterback play, but I feel like the past few years it's been I think it's the Ravens division to lose. Me too.

They whenever the Titan well excuse me, whenever the Oilers, the Houston Oilers move to Nashville, there's a year in limbo, they were like the the stadium in Nashville wasn't ready yet. So and they were like, well, let's play one more year in Houston. He was like, no, get y'all even get the F out. And uh so they had they played the Titan the Titans played one year in one year in Memphis. My grandparents took me to the game. It was about this time of year, hot as hell. They played the Bengals. I went and looked it up the other day. Both teams won like two games, four games, two games each, four or five games combined the whole year. Steve Nair was like a rookie.

But uh But the surproducer is anyway straight, sir producer. He said he's pointing to us, though, so I thought we have it. Um the Colts. See, the Colts are pretty good last year till Jones got hurt. Dan Jones got hurt. Um He was the MVP. I mean, he was the MVP of the league till he got hurt last year. He really was. Jonathan Taylor running that ball. Um see the Jack, I kind of picked him to be shitty, but I got to look at the more stuff, and people are they're kind of the sexy surprise team.

And look, Trevor Lawrence, I never was high on him because that he came out the same class as uh in high school as Matt Carral did. And they were 1-2 in that class. And I just always thought I thought Matt Corral was better than Trevor Lawrence. I always thought he was in high school, his highlights were better, and I always thought he was better in college. But everything I was wrong about that. Matt Carral's also better. He's also only like six foot tall. Yeah, that's it. We had him listened as like six, two or three at Old May as he was not that and he's and he's and he's a head case.

I just don't think it is.

And I remember they were like an expansion team, and it's funny they played the very first game the Texas ever played uh regular season was against the Cowboys. Monday night football, the Cowboys had to play them in Houston, first ever game, and it was we were not very good.

We had Quincy Carter, I think, was our quarterback, and Chan, not Chan Gailey, but uh Dave Campo was the coach of the Cowboys. Houston won. Dallas also go. Yep. They they beat us handily as an expansion team. It was bad. But it's tough. I got um I got that speaking I see why I have winning the division is Houston. This is Stroud kind of had a sophomore slump, if you will, last year. You know, he came in, was like, oh my god, CJ Stroud. And then last year. He didn't play bad, he just kind of wasn't.

I'll put Jacksonville second, though. It's gonna be a good year too.
