Ep. 13 Endo Isn’t the End: The Beginning of Advocacy
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
Monika Spieker shares her raw and honest journey living with Stage IV endometriosis!
Her symptoms began at 13, but like many women, she was told it was “just bad periods.” After years of debilitating pain, more than 10 ER visits, and one unforgettable moment of realizing not everyone feels like they’re “passing liquid acid” during their cycle, she started questioning what was actually normal.
Officially diagnosed in 2022 after laparoscopic surgery, Monika now navigates chronic pain, multiple surgeries, and a condition with no cure all while holding onto her humor and resilience.
Her story is vulnerable, validating, and empowering for anyone who’s ever been told their pain wasn’t real.
