Welcome back everyone, lads on the sideline podcast, episode number forty-six. It's me, Connor, joined by my brother Sean, as always. How's it everybody? Welcome and back. Oh, well done, Sean. Yeah, in English, don't today. Oh well, welcome back. I'll go in there quick. Thanks very much for listening. A bit lost our boards, a little bit after that Argentina game was. Yeah, if I look at the sea and fling a messy up in the air, alright, like you can find it's a great comeback, good game, but they're not playing great, are they? They're making hard work, but here looked that's real, wouldn't he? That's a few. Egypt. Are you building a little momentum? You know what I mean? They did they it's sort of one of the it's like when Ray Madrid are in the Chapman's league, isn't it? And they struggle past a few teams, you're like, uh is it just there for them to win? Are they just gonna go on and win it again? Yeah, when you play against a really rock's all the time, Argentina, they're gonna come out of shells. You know what I mean? Like like they can play, you can play against these things. Look, you even look at the second goal off of um Egypt, it's still against the run of play, isn't it? You can get caught in the hop like that, and that's why teams play. You know what I mean? Like goals though. Still like in the game. Look, two and 15 minutes ago, and I know there's obviously six or seven minutes of range of trying before to hold a baloo and add another four. Um still to come back and score three goals and in the World Cup, like it's still tough. Mateo, you're playing. I'd say that cross from Martinez for the for the winning goal was a great cross. That was a sister of the tournament so far. But that was brilliant. Fernandez has had her down. She's that was a great goal. Great goal. Yeah. That was a good goal, yeah. Um yeah, we get back onto the World Cup now in a little while. Um apologies if you heard any noise in the background. We have the window open, it's like four million degrees again in Ireland, isn't it? You figured it's a stuff was after. Yeah, pump me off the pumpkin. Make me feel very small. Oh yeah, just delete us now. That's a lovely father, like daughter. Anyway, um you sit down and go to the fellow working about that. Um where was I? That was a bit of news. Big news. Alright, you're taking a piss now. Oh right, we'll get an answer news. Right, not to bring the mood down a bit. But we do have a bit of serious now, so we yeah. Um I was wondering, I was watching the Morocco game the other day, wondering why Hakimi wasn't playing. Now supposedly he's been just like a big hull of a live over now, and he could be charged with like sexual assault and he could get like 16 years in prison, so pretty serious. He knows like uh yeah, he's in there that I was wondering why he wasn't playing the other day because he played all the other games and it's like possibly the best right back in the world. Yeah, yeah, arguably. Going forward, and definitely yeah, because we had the captain's iron band on, it's like he's a very takimi. And then it came out that the following day that that was the case. So look at it there is new, so we had to bring it up. Like we couldn't just skip over just in case. Like, no, it's the bond news and it's it's disgraceful. Like, and even like as you say, like even when if it's not true, to be put out there, people don't can't put things stories out there like it without having a little bit of truth in the south. I'd say it is true. He's even too he's a scumbag, and that's it. Yeah. Simple as that, but we won't judge him yet. But I mean, surely God, like when news comes out like that, it doesn't just be thrown out there, and it's not just Willow Swords getting thrown out there. Oh yeah, yeah, it's not smoke or fire, like no, yeah, it's very true. He's in the proven guilty, but as you said, no smoke or fire. Yeah, yeah. So very true, he needs to full feel the full length of the law, whatever the punishment is. Not then he needs an apology. Yeah, but as you said, this don't don't put that out there. I don't think anyway. And if they do, then they're the leading. They need to get reprimanded as well. That's serious. That's not fair, you've destroyed his character, like you know, um Ray Ronaldo. He's retiring from World Cup football. World Cup football. Yeah, yeah, so international football. So he's gonna play in the Euros if he can get to the next one. Yeah, yeah. It makes sense, he's not gonna play like him come back here another four more years when he's about 52. He's getting a bit slower, but he's not as if he's gonna be. You can even see Messi now. I know you're not you're talking about Ronaldo to say that, but you even see Messi slowing up a bit, yeah, and he's totally eight. Now Ronaldo's about 41 here, so like he can understand why like the statement messenger today is walking on the pitch. You see that? No, he covers like six and a half, seven kilometres a game, and something like sixty-two percent of it is walking.

SPEAKER_01

That's mad, isn't it?

SPEAKER_00

The rest of it's thinking just where they're running on and not waste energy. Playing the game as well, trying to defend that would be a nightmare. Yeah, it's clever, it's very rare on the offside. Yeah. So how would you mark him? You can't just let him pick up the ball, yeah, and then he could he still has that devastating left foot. Like, yeah, it's very clever. He's like that's really smart, actually. And it's not as if he's been obviously went a lot more when he was younger, but he was always a bit like that. He's brand fans, yeah. He analyses the game apparently in the board. He's not playing to North Powell where you can do a little bit more running, like it's 40 vertical degrades, you know what I mean? Maybe 40, so you have to save your energy just a little boards. And a fairness, maybe he's gotten used to that playing in Miami. Yeah, well, I suppose yeah, we were saying when we were out there scorching over there, winter wasn't really cool there on a such one. Not really, no. Not really, but yeah, no one else was tired of on international World Cup football team. Yeah, which you would expect that I suppose. Yeah, fairly true, yeah. So Ermore International News again, which is sort of came out of blue. Naggletsman is gone. I think it's a hundred percent confirmed. And they say Klopp is gonna be the next German manager. Yeah. We'll be back in for him. Yeah. He did a great job with Liverpool and we'll never forgive him for that. But um, but he's a good manager, yeah, and he's still a good manager to have in the game. Yeah, isn't he? Like he'd it'd be a waste if you if he if he did all his work still at Red Bull and I'm signal behind the scenes of all the businesses and all this thing. It's he's he's good to have in the game, isn't he? Yes, he's like he's a great manager, isn't he? And he's good for football. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, so look at it and it's alright if he's managing the German team, that's all right. Yeah, it'd be strange. It's a bit like what we keep saying about like sort of mid-table Premier League managers going to like better teams, you don't really do it. It's it's uh very rare that you see a good club manager doing well at international level, isn't it? You look at all the managers that do well, like Deschamps and all, and your man Scaloni, is it Argentina Spanish chap? Like they're all it's like they're just made for international football, isn't it? Sort of struggling on Martinez a partial and Belgium, but they don't really sort of walk, isn't it? So completely different for him, isn't it? Come here, you have to be used to like uh for any international league, it's just like a part-time. It's hard, yeah. It's already it's not an everyday job like where you can get into the players and all, and then and then you're getting players together for in international football, and you don't might not yell because they're playing with different teams against each other and all them for playing all over Europe and all over the world. It's it's it's hard. It's hard to get them going. Like so international football and and and and just say we talk about the premise, you can just say alright, um it's completely different. And it's weird, it's not as if he exactly has a brilliant team there, he's coming into the Germany, is it? No, like just none of them, is that you look at you. Yeah, it's very powerful. It's sad to say they haven't won a knockout game since he won the World Cup that year. Yeah, like very powerful. Standard. And but it looks like they were like knocked out by Paraguay. Like I know Paraguay did half the easy against France and they frustrated them and they were physical against whatnot, but France delayed them. Yeah, you wouldn't expect you still wouldn't have expected him to win. Oh yeah? Yeah. Another managerial name was Anj's taking over Ronaldo's thing. Al Nasser. Who is Al Nas Anj Posta Coggloop from America already now is it? No, not your teen, yeah. He's taking over Ronaldo's team in Saudi Arabia. He's got plenty of money to go without. And the fairness, it's close at home for him, isn't it? Yeah, if you're going that direction. Where is he from? He's trying to lay in mind the young New Zealand, I think. He was a good manager and fans, like you got a raw deal with O'Donnell, that time and all the same when you went back, the way they exposing it back now, they didn't send anything back to him like that. He was good with Celtic, wasn't he, when he was up there again as well. So come here, he has a good bit of experience behind it to go over to he could do well now over there within Saudi Arabia, but come here. He's gone over the money. It doesn't matter, it's a draw over there for no matter what we're looking for, do you know? Shamak Rovers. I probably saw our day, they're playing their Champions League qualifier now. I think it's actually now, is it? Yeah, half six is hard this evening, like for a bit of look they do. Alright, they're losing one nil at half time. Like Joe, I don't even know where the team are from. Floriane. You mentioned Malta from. Malta, yeah. So come here, look. Hopefully these can get I think if the if they get knocked out that you go into the Europa League. Yeah, you step down a little bit, isn't it? So look, even if they get through a couple of rounds, they get a bit more money for them, isn't it? Yeah, look, come here, it's money. It's all much it's all to do with money to keep the hands. Yeah, but he's on the telly now earlier on there. He's back in Ireland, so it'd be bad to fly back, obviously. You wouldn't be on flying back goals straight away, yeah. Yeah, yeah. But they'd probably they'll probably play now on Friday early months off or something, so I'm sure he'll be back for that game. Like, there is a big unfairness like for a league world pair going over to the World Cup. It is an important part of the season, you're missing, isn't it? Yeah. Like in fairness, like you're it'd be delight to have him back. Yeah, we don't especially if we're in Pairs of all we're doing what we're focused on. No. So and then for them to do so well and and and go through the whole group stages and and be knocked out by the Argentine and then that's just say Toki too. Um like didn't lose the match, did he? He's there for a while, no, with 90 minutes. Oh yeah. Oh, because you lost that and even an extra time, didn't he? Yeah. Didn't lose a match, yeah. So they can be very proud of themselves in fans. There's a few players that play with him, like a lot of them played with that Ludow Ludigarets. Yeah, yeah. So there's a few of them that are proper professionals, like that's that's their job, they're not hosting. Like so people just for nobody really looked into them, I don't think. Yeah, no, I certainly didn't. You just look at a country and think of it. Yeah. But like there's only like about two hundred thousand people or something living. Like, you know, that was something small, and I know it only it's very small and some of them players are proper. Proper. Look at all of them, they're all proper footballers, special footballers. Like it's not like uh what's the Fair Islands and all that? Yeah, I know they had some too, but like they give Ireland a hair game. Yeah, it'd probably be Ireland, yeah. Like if you thought you'd gonna fair the world and all these and the whole lot, like Luxembourg and all them things, the Maryland things should earn them on them. They get worse, it's okay for an equal game. Yeah, absolutely. Did you story of the World Cup? Do you have to do that? Yeah, yeah, I think so. Surely there's no vision. Is there any other story that's no unless like Norway gonna win it or something? Like I don't yeah. I can't really think of anything that sort of matches. Four touches and two goals. Yeah, he does it, doesn't he? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Right, last bit of new ones, I left this one to the end because it's the most controversial. America and Balogun and the red card and the Donald Trump ringing thief and what's the way all that? It's a man, isn't it? You know, Yanni Infantino, ten years old, to corruption and all, and they take back a red card and you ring to Resident of America. He's dealing with wars and all, he's dealing with wars all over the place, and he gets a phone call off and just receive the red card so he can play. So making a mockery of the sport, yeah. Fucking fuming it. Yeah, you can't be just the owner of the like this is not FIFA. No, yeah. You know, the PlayStation game. You just press reset and have to crack and put it on cheap mode and it doesn't work like that. No, you're making a mockery of the fucking sport. I actually like Donald Trump. Some people I do, but like that's ridiculous. You don't understand this now. I think he's mad. He's a lunatic. Did you hear you just heard of the day? He's like, oh, I didn't think I know sport, I was great at sport and his young and all this sort of shit. And he goes, Um, I didn't even think it was a foul. And supposedly the record he took out this card, it was red, and I didn't even know what that meant. And then I found out he wasn't gonna be playing in the next game, so I thought I had to make a phone call. And it happened and it went through. And he did it, and it's a disgrace, is what it is. And I think the whole world is glad they got knocked out. Yeah, they got slaughtered. I wouldn't be surprised if we interrupted everything for the USA, like all that rig and roll and all the talk in the media and all about it. And should they never shock up, did it even when they got slaughtered at four one? No, no, no. I wonder what some of the fans felt. I know we have a couple of listeners from America. Like I wanted to they sort of think, oh, this is a bit Yeah, far fetched. Like fuck off. Sorry for coaching, but you know what I mean? Like, just let football be football and come here, like it's embarrassing. Nothing they can do, like if you're listening, like there's nothing he was doing. Red card was a red card, he shouldn't have played 28 players, and many of you had somebody to replace him. Yeah, pick up to another eleven to the next match and just leave him off. It's a red card. Oh, it's mad. But that's a man again, the infantino just go all show you all the corruption and it and he's there ten years, and it it's it's always always like this, isn't it? Do you know? And and you go again and you probably get another four years because who's gonna stand in his way? Like I don't know, you know. The only sort of way that he could get out is if UAFE tried to create their own version of a World Cup and their own version of like a club World Cup, and then they take money away from the World Cup and all this sort of stuff. But like UAFA, they have enough money, like you know what I mean. They said they're just as powerful as FIFA, but they have what they have and they're happy with what they have, like, well look at UAFA be uh as you said they're happy because the World Cup is the World Cup is as you said different competition. Yeah. Uh that's football every day of the week for them, do you know what I mean? Like where the World Cup is hard to organise as as a as a government body to say, but um fucking just corruption all over the place, isn't it? That's what we look at. Hard it is, yeah. Even going back to the African Cup of Nations, remember when he scored and he was everybody around was celebrating, he's hard to put his head in his hands, yeah. What's going on here? Like, and then all of a sudden it gets overturned then and him there looking him talking to your man in the stand there, we smiling his face. Yeah, no, yeah. Yeah, yeah. It is mad. Look anything I can do though. That's the problem. No, no, no, you know it's it's happening inwards. No, we won't, no, not at all. Uh that's all the news. So we move on to our transfer news. We had a bit of a rant last week about United's transfer, so you didn't get any better, did it? No, and I'll quickly just mention United's because there's a few that were other teams. Um Somerville, Andre Santos are the two names that have been linked the last week. Now, supposedly I've seen a lot of Chelsea fans on Instagram saying that we can't let this happen. So I don't know, maybe it's better than what we think. That's a bluff. Yeah. That's bluff us. Is it trying to spin us? You just want the garnantal money back, that's all they want. Well, it was led to believe like what you read about he's leaving Chelsea to Otto Man United for more minutes. That's what I read somewhere. You do that when you're going to Everton, are you when you're going to Fulham? Yeah, not in the Full. Well that's where we are, are we? Yeah. Shouldn't we? No, well do I That's a statement that's a good thing. Yeah, definitely. I read that. And then I think the force years ago you you'd be leaving clubs to go to Man United to and the force and coming in and to win trophies, win the premiership, win the Champions League, not to get more minutes on the pitch. Well in fairness, and Sanders probably said themselves right, United have one midfielder, chances of getting in here are fairly high. Wonderful. One midfielder they have. So they blame that. Yeah, but look for going from Anderson to Fernandez to Tanale to Goomer Ryers, just say as all of them, and now they're talking about Tiomini just as well then put in this sort of most conquest talk about him, Santos from Shelby. Come on, we're better than that. No, no, yeah. Jesus said, we're better than that. Yeah. The only sort of thing you could hope for if is if it did happen, is that he slips through the cracks like De Brian did or the cake or something. Oh that's sort of clutch enough in the straws that is like. But like if you sign too many you sign Scott and then you no one else was sort of uh available and you picked him up, then I'd probably get on board. Yeah, fair enough. But he can't be Oh you'd have got him and said Edison. But you had to show you the dimension. Yeah, like that's not the market. Like that's ridiculous, no. No. Absolutely not. So do you know that lad then that if you mentioned a Somerville saying United are kind of starting again, I saw it like three or four days ago to kind of start contact with West Ham and this, that, and the other. He's knocked out of the World Cup. West Hammer there to be spoken to, maybe they are at all, maybe they're not, but I don't know. I don't know. Again, to be honest with you. Depends on all the price and all again, isn't it? Like you can't be paying 70 million, but he 40 million. You'd be like okay. They look for 50, I'd say. Like he's not as good as Cunye. Or he's not as well known as him or like a memo. They both scored like double figure goals before United. Well Janny's a different player. He's a prospect, yeah. He's a different player to Cunha. Ah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, Cunny would be Marvel number 10. So and we don't have him. So I mean like why is no one else in from if he's that good at that age? I don't know. Well, how do you know? Maybe they are. You know, like it's just we're listening to the main unit and it was just like the main unit knows. And then the last bit then, again, so today and yesterday, whether you want to believe it or not, is that they're gonna go all out for Tuomini. But they're gonna make it clear that he has to drop his way just. That's what I'm saying. So that's shite. Yeah. So I think it's the last big contract of his career, I'm gonna take less money. Would he get it, man? Yeah, I don't know. Yeah, and then they have to they have to come out and say that it is up for sale. 100 million is gonna cost. Yeah, that's what it's gonna cost. 100 million euros, that's what I said, 88 million pounds. That's what's gonna happen. Give him 250,000 a week. I think he's on 220 now, 215. You can't turn around and say if he's on 220, 2020, you might take 200 and just say, right, you couldn't go on any less than that, because they give him believes in looks and make some mount 250,000. He doesn't get bleeding getting he's gonna accept that. But no, I'm saying it's hell. If he wants if it's his last contract and he's on 220 and he's looking for 250, give him 250. Yeah, that's rule. That's what I'm saying. Because you've made some out on two fifty and he's on your bleeding sub. Yeah, can we give him two? That's mental. If you want them, pay the money. Before he disappears or signs a new contract at Real Madrid. There's only two years left in his deal. Yeah, I don't know. They could be using the United States. T agents could be saying that I mean Mourinho might want them. He's a big fucking unit, big player. That's a marriage, he's a Mourinho type player. Perfect Mourinho player, yeah. Yeah, so you might want to keep and we'd below the shite. And United come out and say, look, we did have Esther John Galen and we had a but fucking Scotland Belabre or something. Jesus Christ. You know what I mean? That's desperate. Like a run there's options. If two hand goes, it's no one else. Santos and Belabre. Because Barman probably won't let Alex Shot go either. No, it's not. Mad money anyway. Well no. Like it'll be mad money by the time he's gone, like er right, move on then. Tanali's officially gone to sports. Yeah. But what to say? Can we have a hundred million? It's crazy money. I know that that's the way it is. That's the way it's gone. Well, they're ambition. They're shown ambition. Well that's that yeah, exactly. They're not gonna care about everyone else. No. They don't care now that Scott six was sixty million. You know, if they buy him, he's gonna have to pay eighty, that's their fault. It's crazy, but that's the that's the money, lads. You have to go out and play. Simple. The two midfielders to defender and Yamandi got off Barman for was it Barman? Some surrender, what was his name? Bunzy. Sandy. Roberts at the back, yeah. Shit. No, yeah, ridiculous. They've added four starting eleven players. Yeah. Four or five? Yeah, well, that depends, I guess. Everton, then your man George that was on loan with him from Chelsea, the black fella. Yeah. He signed him for 24 million. He's not bad, him on fan, isn't it? He's not the worst in the world to meet him. He's not the worst in the world. We watched him last year, but he's brutal. I never heard of him. I'm trying to give you diplomatic, yeah. No, yeah, no, he's not great at all, is he? But 24 million is the gone right nowadays, isn't it? For a crap club, yeah. It is, isn't it? 25 to 40 million. We got Van Persey for 20 back in the day. Yeah. He was signed uh Nathan Ake's gone to Fernabachay. Yeah. On the free, I think it was like yeah, yeah. Oh no, seven million, I think he's gone to them. He's after getting rid of a load of players, isn't he? Yeah. Fairness, like stones and all gone. Bernardo Silva to go. Rodrigo could go like they're definitely an overhaul, haven't he? Rodrigo's gone, like he go to Madrid. Yeah, but he was saying like he was paying the other day, he was paying to say, and he's still the main man in the middle of the park, isn't it? Yeah, he bullied Fernandez around the basics. Doesn't he? He just does the job there, like dictates the game and he makes it simple to say, like you could just see him sitting in the middle of. That's the only way not the only way we're going to get it. Oh, they'll have to read it. But don't you think you can put it 29? Yeah, so we do say it as well, don't we? Like with Mourinho, he gets you in for three years, and 29 is a perfect gauge for him, isn't it? Like for Mourinho. Yeah, it is, yeah. Newcastle dirt trying to spend some of the money they got in, so they're signing the chap from the ivory coast, I can't remember his name, as a winger. And then assigning some other young flip from IAX was supposed to be very good. I think it was like 20 odd million or something. So he did it last year when he sold Isaac, didn't he? We'd say now all the players are trying to sign a big hole in the midfield there. And that's if nobody else leaves it. Yeah, the chances of somebody else leave. Two more ice and the hall leaves. They be money rich, but to be quite poor. So they've got visiting last year from Brantford to the only place you had a lot of good season of Halloween. And you sound so uh Trossard, this is a surprise, and he best him err and position going to be chictas. I think down and Arsenal have agreed a fee, so it's just between him. He's not a bad fan. Oh yeah. Do you pay well in Tokyo, don't you? Yeah. Yeah. Maybe that's where Garanacho go. Shelting him out then saying that he's for sale. How long is he there? Eighteen months or something? So now I'd be lucky to get twenty million. Do you get the sandwich man George? Do you get twenty-five million for him or say? And it'd be a waste of money as well, because he's he's just going backwards, isn't he? But you'll pay it in Tokyo. Do you know what I mean? Like if you say you go over there to fair the patches up and go over there and you tell the Pigas up and then. He's playing football in the pit one of the videos, he's playing football in his garden as a young lad. He's wearing these big shouta slippers and all these glasses. He looks like a dope, to be honest. So that's what I'm trying to think. He do what he wants in his own house and playing football with his lads. That's you're off the back of an awful season. You had one of the best prospects in the world a couple of years ago. You put your head down, put videos out of your training, put videos out of your if you want to pick a video of your family going holiday and just who's his PR team? He has to be down himself. It's bad as we hate Pity at the highest level, and he'll never ever make it back. No, do you know what? It's bad as we all hate Ratchet's what he did, and I'll just say, right. But when he did go to Barcelona and he was uh in just royal interview, yes, he put pictures in the Instagram and worked really hard. Exactly. And trying to promote himself that he's getting back into it a little bit. As you said, totally the opposite. That's what I think. If you're retired and you've won the game, done the game and you played and won all the trophies, do what you want. But yeah, this is a picture that this fellow's trying to put out. And he's only his career's only standing, not too much. It's true. Just go down as one of the biggest waste. Like Sancho. He's not different to Sancho. Yeah, you know, you got both of them. You did bag for 40 minutes with him, actually. Well, the name of Jason get 40 minutes by him. Yeah, no, yeah. We're paid the favour for amazing milk. We had both of them. He's a better attitude, but still Chelsea had both of them. Fucking promoker, really are. Wherever his Sanders or whatever. Don't be doing business with leading Chelsea, never works. Oh yeah. Last transfer news, then Callum Wilson is gone to Brentford for he signed a one-year contract from West Ham. He's left then for for I think it was for free. He's getting a one-year contract from him. He did alright last year, like in fans. Like he's doing all right with Brentford. Yeah, he should go in. He'd probably go shifting with them for a year. Oh look, it keeps you busy like you've got to defend it now, do you know what I mean? Yeah, I don't even know what age he is. 40 yard, I think, but like you said, you know, there was a backup to Tiago with Tiago to stay with him. So definitely Yeah, right then. We move on to the World Cup. The round of 16. Started you today. Morocco beat Canada pretty straightforwardly. We actually did Canada actually let us down that day. It's the only team you didn't score. Anything else and came up in the end. Morocco are a decent side, isn't he? They're a good side, yeah. They're playing France now. France beat Paraguay will nil now. They were kicked around the place, wouldn't he? Yeah. Not a single yellow card given to Paraguay. Doesn't it? No, not a single, but goal. Yeah, no, that would be easy for France, would it?

unknown

No.

SPEAKER_00

Tricky old game. No, do you know what? Like like when when you look at it to be a lot from from Moroccans live in France, and you know, like they're sort of combined countries that were really like some of them speak a lot of French and all, don't you? Like Morocco and be looking derby game, yeah. What's it? One or two are born in France. That's the same. Closer than you think. It'd be like Portugal playing against um Spain, really. It'd be Derby game. Oh yeah. Like Ireland and England and all like that. Oh yeah, absolutely. And that's clear, it's not going to be as simple as that France is going to win. No, and if they do them in two or three-nil, then you'd be like, alright, fair enough to stay in the room to France. Well, look, it's a quarter final, so like to get to the quarterfinals, you'd and you're looking at you said, look, you can't take it away from Morocco World, they should look at look at Larshi and the African Nations Cup. Yeah. So I mean the last four years they got to this they got to the semi-finals as well, the World Cup. So they're not a fluky team. No, no. They're definitely the best African team, isn't it? Definitely, yeah. Then uh Sunday, then can I say I got this right with Brazil then the flats? Getting laughed. Yeah, I think so. I think so. Yeah, yeah, no, something there's some good results in the pure, wouldn't it? That's me phone on the ground. I thought that was a Yodio Jump. Yeah, like did you just about beat Japan? And then geez, we're poor against always well, yeah. We controlled the whole game. It looked as if normally we're just playing for a draw, but Jesus Christ, Brazil, I'm muck. I know it's fine. I might watch Brazil a lot more than you, just saying, but not this team, but obviously all the World Cups like from from just say not 1970, but I obviously look at clips back at that because obviously it was only playing five, just say right. But after that, just like I think that's the worst Brazil team I ever seen this year. Yeah. And all the World Cups that I've ever watched, now now they haven't won it in 20 odd years, and it's only another 24 years, wherever it is now to be another four gang on top of that now, like but that's the worst Brazil team um I can say I ever seen. Yeah. Are any of them you know live up to the Brazil hype? Well not even close to that. Are any of them typical Brazil players? No, I didn't see a step over once. No. You play like a European team, yeah, but a bad one. Yeah. Yeah. Don't he? So taking a funnel Brazilian football. Yeah, yeah. Like even Vinicius and all, he's not as good as he's uh people like to be like he makes those, he gives the ball away a lot. And you know what? He's greedy with the ball as well. Like sometimes he he likes to be the player that wants to be some you put in the top corner when there's a simpler pass on somewhere else. Yeah, he's looking at it, isn't he? He's not taking it forward, like he's not called really. I don't know. I see if he was, yeah. And as much as we obviously like him because he's closely united and all like you said, he can't be the main man, and then the backup can't be Thiago from Brentford. No, sure, from where some world class players Ronaldo or nine. I know it was back in the day. Yeah. Rivaldo. They caught the gun ya. Yeah. But flick flicking the ball here, passing the ball there, hitting on their shoulder there, making the game look so easy, like the fucking hand road trotters and all for the sport and all they say, and to this. Well, there's an example. People are thinking now and say to me, like guys are very harsh on today's football. I'll be able to say it's not as good. Yeah. There's a prime example. Yeah. There's it's it's in blue, probably. It's in yellow and green. Look at the difference in the I don't think any of them players bar prime neymar into that World Cup squad in 2021. Right. It's mad. No, that's the same. Neymar probably in his day because he was I put Neymar just behind Messi Ronaldo when he was in his hay, and he's obviously injuries and his lifestyle and all round there. Anyway, not one other player get there. Gabriel at the back, not a hope, Konya, Gumerais in the middle, all good players at this day and age. But you're absolutely no not a pick compared to what they are today. But you know what? They'll ask you look at Norway just say Norway beating just say right, and you would expect Brazil to have better players if you went through the two teams that were to look at. But it's it's like with two because we're England, isn't it? Um you spend the squad like that'll play as a team. And Brazil ain't even a team, really. Even if you don't even play like you've put that you've put that teams out there that have and not as good on paper where just say the fourth eleven, but you play as a team. Yeah. No, we played as a team, didn't he? Like Brazil, that's the they're a bad team, isn't it? Bad team. Brutal. Yeah, very bad. Fucking no. Do you know what? Like and you look forward to the World Cup of the watch at least today's team. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, who is look at Pal again. Yeah. A second goal was a Prazo proper for this. It looked like from the force when you hear it, oh, the keeper should do better, but it's right into the corner. It's Allison in goal in fairness. He's Gabriel for the black as if he's up against Shoy players like that. No, this is what I'm saying, like and and look at him again playing mark each other every day of the week and trying to be playing against each other now when when when to play each other's now we know, like so they bully each other. That would be neat again for England, either. Bully Gabrielle. Oh, the Marquinha sort of, yeah. Everything went forward, he's just bouncing off them, isn't he? And just causing havoc. Like they're not about side. Oh, the guard is not bad as well, like he like when you're gonna be able to get away. He's a tidy player, we always said he's a nice player to watch. Sander Berg in the middle just keeps it going and the man on the wing, newsray, or noose, or they're not gonna set the word like Barry Man in front. But you keep the ball very well. You're right, I was gonna say that you keep the ball because he plays the team, yeah. And then when you have him in front, he scores seven goals from no way in the World Cup. No, it's mad, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. And the whole thing with the the bleeding drum at the end is pretty good as well, isn't it? I'd look on the winner. Yeah, that'd be great to see you. My team's gone now, of course. But anyway, so yeah, yeah. Look at you say something different, like that's it. Uh now I didn't see this game because it's one o'clock in the morning. But England and Mexico supposedly is supposed to be one of the best games of the tournament. Yeah. Look at the highlights look too good. Yeah, but look at you did it. I didn't watch it myself. None of us like England, don't get me wrong, we don't hope they get knocked out because bad, right? But they got down to ten players. Yeah. Now they got a panel, didn't they, or something, made a 3-1, but then they scored a goal and made a 3-2. You hung on for like 25 minutes. So you did well in the fan. I believe they were got batted like like to the goal, but you hung on, it was a good win. It's the only goal in Mexico. It was a great win, so and only probably three or four times you lost in Donkey's years, like 90 games or something you played there in the young boss like three games. You said an ass week then the big players are stepping up this room. Good player. Even the Cain's Penn was a really good one. Yeah. Well, there you go. You talk you you too, simple as that to say, right? You talk about that in Cain's Penn. There's messy now, and and and he can take a free kick from outside the box, right? And he hit the bar like today from 45 yards, and they will know what the goalkeeper letter goes there, right? But he gets up and takes the panel from twelve and takes it's bleeding brutal. What happens if I just didn't get another pen? Do you think you'll take it? Oh, he's not the missing two. That's what I'm saying. But you said we've talked about Cain. Cain gets just buried some. And he went the right way and all these. That was like he misses fourth, remember? Yeah. He just didn't make any. He sends his bump stop injury. No, and in fairness, that's a result that you'd look at England and think, geez, maybe they could go before. Like some players, again for this day and age, really like Bellingham, Kane. You know, I know we've like cycling, he's still a good player, don't get me wrong. And when he start look at what happens when he attacks and takes on defenders. Mine that's what happens. You know, when you've uh uh Declan Rice and there forget about him. He's really good players. Anderson, yeah, Jesus and Morani at the back. Jordan Picker's a lunatic, but he's a good one. He did a great set. Sorry. I was just about to mention him here at the same time. And Pickford were always getting about him and go because he's really united. When he's playing with Evan and all this in the premise, which is like but he had a great game the other day, like Brooklyn Holy had some great set. Yeah, that was a great set about their post for the header. Do you know what I mean? So they had they're playing with it, they were a good team. Yeah. I mean like Tilka was right when you said what he did. Like Barley went away the question last week with folding and and um I keep and Carl Palmer to say, right, um, that if they didn't win it, that might be the trick that you didn't win. But do you have a good team? Do you have a good team? I still think they're a level below what France and Spain are like. But they're they're over, you decided to draw, so do you have a big chance to get to the final? Yeah, no, and you mean France and Spain in the final? Yeah. Then on to Spain, they knocked out Portugal. That was the fourth sort of big, big game of the tournament. Yeah, so I was looking at some of the analysis after it. And like you said, some people are saying it wasn't great, this, that, the other. So I sort of tried to look at it from a different angle as if to say, were they ever gonna go gun-ho against each other? No. Because imagine Spain with full attack. And then you can't get Portugal's counter-attack, like what I mean, and then vice versa. Like if Portugal, like come on, we take the game to Spain and then just leave them a man. No, Spain missing a centre forward, Spain. Yeah, stop you. I text you that, yes. If he had a first striker, he would have won that game for anything, guessing, wouldn't he? Yeah, yeah. Badly missing a good good centre forward, didn't he? But you're right, like if you do that, then the games are in the five-forward now. Like you said, Argentina there. When you have to do it. No, and and and the thing about it is like just say he would do it to Argentina. Ghost shouldn't do what teams team can do when they put up against it. Yeah. Do you have to come out and do it? So like if Spain would have been winning 1-0, just say with 20 minutes to go, well the party wouldn't have to come out or vice versa. Yeah, it's just the goal was so late. Yeah, no one wanted to lose the game, did he win into an injury to him? Substitution's made a difference, didn't he? All three of them are involved in the goal. And making the evening forward made a difference. He came on just like a madman, wasn't he? Yeah. What was he up to slamming the people on? Yeah. How about the fight with Roger and everything? Yeah, like what's he up to? Dragon Ronaldo, I think. He was putting Ronaldo back a little bit with a couple of folk were asking there. Looks like it. But less like that free kick today was less contact with Ronaldo. I see Roger Dragon Ronaldo. Yeah, yeah. He wasn't looking at it. He'd be signing for Arsenal next season. Not even looking at the ball. Yeah. Dragon album. But he was clever the way he didn't. Because he went on and off, on and off, you know. Yeah, yeah, for real. Yeah. Well. Still haven't conceded either. The conceded. Five or six. No, look at their in now. They're playing against who are they playing next? Belgium. Who beat America. Yeah. Far one. Like I said, I'd say I think the whole world are kind of just after what happened. Glad. I think you were glad. Yeah, happy. Like, yeah. Yeah. And even both of them. And even the Americans themselves say, you know what, like as much as you want their own team to win. When you're slaughtered and it's all one way and it's not close, then you say fucking hell it's close, then but when you got a bad beating that to Robbie Samuel, you know what they deserve it, but what was that to happen there? That was game over. That was 58 minutes. Yeah, I think was it? Yeah, really. It was early in the game. That's getting over, then definitely. He's obviously touched on Argentina there. They beat Egypt um earlier on as they're doing this, and then Switzerland and Columbia is later. Which I'd say be a good game. Maybe we'll get it. Yeah, maybe a good game. Columbia could game football now. Yeah, yeah, sometimes you don't expect some games to be good, but that definitely look it's a quite it's a it's an last sixteen of the World Cup. Yeah, Louis Diaz plays for Columbia, so they might have won. He could have does a couple of players playing for Columbia now, you're like, oh yeah, I forgot he played for somebody else at front plays him as well. That was decent, so he's all two years. I don't know if James Rodriguez still plays him and that's looking at him. I think if him and Fal Cow he was going to use a sense yeah does he have a leader? I think he might a couple of players like a Chelsea, I think, doesn't he? He was on Chelsea, yeah. Two Brighton or something, but he's with Strasbourg now, Chelsea on him or something mad like that. No, no, no, bad time. Is it nine o'clock kickoff? Nine o'clock, yeah. That's what I'm saying. They're they're sleeping now, like they're doing the maximum at the time, isn't it? Yeah. I saw I was looking during the week, there's one of them on the two in the morning, but other than that, no, they're all grand like erm. But yeah, that's the last sixteen. Looking forward to the quarterfinal, I think. Yeah. Some old fixtures like so. Yeah. Like I said, Spain, Belgium, Morocco. And every week every week I was playing is a week near the compremation kind of starting to remember. Tell a lie, James I think is is he in the squad? Sorry, hang on. Maybe he is, is he? That's just predicted line of like that. David look at the team, wouldn't he? Yeah, you David Igna could be a good team. Yeah. I don't know what I don't know what I said last week. Dave players that just have plays in the middle package. Yeah, and you made a bowl of he was playing, isn't he? Yeah, he's quick as well. He's yeah, yeah. And Sharon I think plays at the back of the man that plays at Newcastle summer and goal for into Milan, that goalkeeper. Like Munas played off um McMinos. Oh yeah, yeah, from Palace. Yeah, that's it. Yeah, Jack's gonna be a good one. Yeah, man. Um Jock Rez up front for uh Lisbon, he's put banging loads of goals. I said he's up front for Columbia. Yeah, very good, yeah. Diaz there and Lemon. It'd be a good look at you. Two good times by the sounds of it. Yeah, don't do two like it's two good times. Yeah, look at him. Yeah, the air, yeah. But uh yeah, look at we'll move on now to uh try and got a couple of questions in, didn't we? So I felt like I know James, he wrote into us James Gannon, so tomorrow we'll rant. So he says a little rant here. Um Ineas have made Nice plummet as a club. The Glazers have sank Argully, the biggest team in world football over the last 14 years, being Man United. How on earth does any Man United fan have faith in them? They haven't a clue how to build a club and it's a recipe for disaster. The writing is on the wall, lads. We will be a seesaw club until they piss off. What do you think? I agree with everything he says. Yeah, same. I wouldn't disagree with anything since the Glacier came in 2005. Um I always remember that they they came in and took over the club in 2005. Because it was on your party, Sean. Oh god, thanks. Yeah, it's all your fault, yeah. Um kick them out 28th of June. Um and since then buying the club and putting them into debt straight away almost. Straight away, like like 650 million. Now now they put a couple of hundred million in it at their own money, you just say, but it's the last time you probably put money in on the first time. Ever since now they're they'll take they're just taking money out, and any player they buy or anything that happens to the club, it's all generated from the club themselves. Because I keep saying they're a hungry shower. I was gonna say it, they're a hungry shower of bastards. You need to go out of the club. And like I think it's right, who sent that in? James Cannon is the job. Right, he's right. And the Indians came in to debate them and just saying now he put a few baby in himself, just rat, they'll just say, right? Um but he more likely to carry them up and he did a bit of the stadium up and all that. Like, like they're still only wanting players now like that, or we'll we want to sign a bit more like go out and get players and talk players into sign. Yeah, but not a Mickey Mouse club there, put the money into the team. I keep saying it. The fucking Glaives. So the Glaives was uh from 2012 to 2024, sold shares for about 500 million, and now with the 500 million, they kept 450 million for the fucking family.

Jesus Christ.

SPEAKER_00

Johnny, if that's all you do is just take this off. Like uh players want to come to us, that's who we're only going for. We're not gonna pay the big wages. What happened? Where's the success? Example of this example of success. Where's the cost of work? Or oh well. That's what you have to do. Exactly. Remember Van Persian signed United? No, I think he wanted to know, but Ferguson had channeled. He just wanted to go to Man C. Yeah, because that was a big possibility, but you know, and Ferguson talking now and or whatever else, talking, whatever else the package was not. For the best fabs ever came to United. What do you mean? Fucking right cane. Two days went to swim with Blackburn. Fucking Alex Sherman took to be splitting gaff. Now boom boom bows your uncle before you know he's at the Sunday night, he's the best captain night I've ever had. Yeah, it's ridiculous. Will Cox and Favel with everyone do your job. Yeah. A couple of players people brought into us as well, uh, about similar situations. Everyone's pissed off. But there is United fans out there who think this I'll still trust the process. No, it's 14 and V years this process going on. Trust the process, trust the process, but get to give us something. If they if we already had um Fernandez in the bag and they were going over Tremini now or something, right? There's a little bit here, but we're running out of options, and our midfield has to be overhauled this year, and there's only one or two major options left. But if they're gone or they're off the table, we're in trouble. I'm gonna bit we're gonna buy another Anthony for midfield, and it's gonna be a waste of money just to keep the fans happy. Yeah, then we're gonna go back to the cross. And I know what they'll do, and they'll spin it at the start of the season, because you have a couple of not handy fixtures, but you should have really good re thought about them and just say like the hole and all nitroge in the first couple of games and all this are right, and you might get a good start to the season and say, Alright, look, it's going great. It's not going to be going great when it comes January and they're playing two games a week and they're stuck with a midfield, that's fucking shy. Yeah. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? We will get to get the players for the whole season. Well, they need to be putting them in now because like if you do sign Giovanni and Scott, they're the two biggest ones, right? Yeah. And this brings me nicely on the Trevor's question now. Giomini and Scott. Scott, he could be bought now on his holidays and be a part of the full preseason. Do you mean he won't play till the tour game of the season? You know, so he could be able to sign him. He's the only one left. Yeah. That's what they're saying to him if they do with Casemiro, don't he? They just don't want to pay his wages now. Yeah. Wait for four or two games and then get him in. That's if Raymond didn't want to sell him. He's still in the World Cup. That's what I heard today's about. Oh, he's still in the World Cup because Anderson not still in the World Cup? Did he not just sign my man singing a record fee? Fuck off. They're waiting for Raymond to say we're going to sell them. But just say if you don't even sell them, they'll say the point out now that they're gonna go all gun ho into blazers, give them a hundred million to say and cook them out like the summer about the wages, they give the wages. Come on, because we did our best again. Look at where we're at them months when they get them and we couldn't get them. So they're the legs. The legs went there outside the door praying, don't sign Chewmany. I'll take a page and still waiting here. I'll play because fuck and nothing. No, we don't want him. Go down and get bleeding Qomini and and and and get him. I'll get the best that's available like the slap because it doesn't mean the balls were so far as it is now the four spark five go. Yeah. That's what Trevor wrote into us sort of two statements sort of here. Like so if we can't outbid sports for play for players, what hope have we got if the likes of Arsenal come up for players that we want, i.e. two meaning Scott? Then what do we do? That's what we do. I think we just touched on that. They'll just walk away. What do you think who would be Biden? I don't know about there's no there's no point in us getting any hope whatsoever. We have one midfielder now. Like I said, they'll sign on Edison, they'll sign somebody else for a stuper fee, and they'll I said to the last week, they'll try and bring your man Fletcher in as the forter. Well they should be protesting, they'll do something stupid like that, right? Like all the groups should get together. It's like one step forward to get back to toward and be like four steps. Now I believe the rest of the guys are familiar the money, they were all the time trying to sell as well, isn't it? And their shares as well, like if you would just hope eventually they will. You'll just hope that like eventually, but the protests like like if if if they don't book up the midfield and and and even if they do start winning, it's a bad midfield, it's a bad overhaul. The protests just start from fucking the food. They want to do it cheaply. Like even the protests, they do anything. Yeah, well, they're doing old. They won't care about 20,000 pro people protesting outside the stage. I'm like, do you know what I mean? Like I said last week, something has to happen to one of them. Seriously, like yeah, like this it's physically one of them situation. Yeah, it's a football club, Donald Naruto. Don't you think you can bring politics into it that way then? Give Donald Trump a call, for God's sake. Jesus Trevor again, so he was like, he's right. He said we knew Ugarte and Casimira were gone a year ago. We have how have we let uh three targets just walk away? And it's probably Tanali as well. Uh it's always the cheap way, and even the manager was the cheapest option. When will it change? It won't change until the won't change until the owners change. Yeah, yeah. He's right though. This is the that feeds back into the force point. Yeah, those yeah, yeah. Or or because uh because I tell you, Bernard and Favelle, and like just say they're like they're the main people to be doing business, they're the buying and selling players, they're the they're that's your recruitment there, right? Just say Favel just saying we'll touch, right? Put them two out there to say, right? Haven't proven that you know haven't proven, haven't you? Go out and do it, you're supposed to be good at your job, let them do it. They fail miserably so far. Alright, we make so much money. But what if we won everything? We'd make even more money. Exactly. Surely that's the way you make the most money. I just don't think they want to. Like you don't buy a house and oh we'll do the the sitting room up this year and then we'll do the bedroom up next year, but uh instead of getting a double bed, we'll just get a single because it's cheaper, we'll squeeze into it instead. Oh, do alright. Like the opposite still property, like alright, it'll short term pain, but it's long-term gain, exactly. Yeah, and it and the gas and where they just say and you're not even talking with some of you know you're talking about a house, Conoran. So you're not even talking about some of you that that just has like 500,000 to buy a house, and the house looks a mackle, and you're inside that you say telling you how many chairs are sitting on the side. It's not a Manchester United football club. It's worth billions. The Glazers are worth billions, Ratcliffe is worth billions. The money they saved up last year. It's not about billionaires there. The money that they shouldn't have to pay the news. Oh yeah. Shout out, Mike. The new set for as well, won't they? Of course they will, that's what I'm saying. It's a penny pinch, and that's all they do. We said it last week, they're miserable. Get out rare club and that's it. Exactly. Fucking hell, get out of air club. And then saying air club as I'm a part of that club because I'm a fan and and and I'm subscribed to them all, and and and and that's who I am, I'm a fan of all my life. And the football, the fans are on my United, not anybody else. So get out of Rare Club and that's it. Yeah, exactly. Um Glenn Kelland does, how did we miss a trick on Norway for the Dark Horse? I don't know, we didn't know how to build him. I didn't think he's an animal score, I mean he just proved it. He's more goals than games for Norway. See, my dark horse was Japan, so I just thought they'd beat Brazil and then beat Norway and go that way. Like it'd just be too quick for them speedy for them. I thought I said that as well, I picked Japan as well, actually. Yeah. Once you have him with front, I mean it just scores goals, isn't it? It does nothing else. But in the World Cup, you would you know what if it was the European champions just say, right? You'd say, alright, you wouldn't have still picked them with the lots of France and Spain and Portugal and England and all you wouldn't have and Holland and all, just say, right? You definitely wouldn't have. But the fact that it was the World Cup, you have all the South American teams coming over. You you have like Japan and all coming over to say, but then you've all the African teams and all, you wouldn't have gave them much of a hope, really. But you have to do brilliantly to get down to the quarter of finals, let me tell you. They really have. Yeah, if you have, yeah. Good question. Um just it depends on what like like I I in my little prediction thing, I put them down to play against the Ivy Coast and the force knockout round and stuff. And so it depended on what way the groups went and all that, didn't it? Come here. Look, it's probably the forties you ever made, and then you're gonna can't ever remember and get into another quarterfinal before now. It's probably the fourths you ever made. As long as I can remember like the World Cup, that that's probably the fores. I don't mind saying that as a just they could talk about them. So they're doing amazing to get to the quarterfinals of the World Cup. Uh Peter H is right in this. Will Messi win the Ballon d'Ar if the if he wins the World Cup? No, no. He shouldn't. No, he can't. I wouldn't win America. No, no one that no do you know what? No one that's no one that's playing in um and if Ronaldo would have won the World Cup with Particular to say he shouldn't have got it either. No one that's playing in Saudi Arabia, no one that's playing in America should have winning the Ballon d'Ar. Play in Europe when you're when you're playing in the proper league. Do you know what I mean, like? Yeah. Like if France winning, like you can only see just saying Bappi getting it or easy. If England winning, obviously we said it's Asian can get it. And and anyway, even if England didn't win it, Kane should nearly get the goals that score in this year, and he's even had the good World Cup. Yeah, like like without winning anything now, but how it has to be in the repping for the World for the Banner at all. 70 odd goals. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Messi's the only one that's ever scored more in this year or something like that. That's what I'm saying. So it shouldn't, but you know what? I wouldn't be surprised if I just think about the win the World Cup that you give it to him. Because that's the way infantine on all, that's like that's the corruption of the game, and that's the way it goes. As much as we hate England, uh Hardy Kane is is is a better player now than than than Messi, yeah, and that's having a better season and playing the better later better lake. Yeah, so you you can't like as much as as I say we we don't like England, like we we always give the juice to the footballers just say, right? And Hardy Kane's had to have an amazing season. Yeah, France had a good World Cup. You can see Elise winning it. Yeah, yeah, that's the only thing. Or in Bat Bay, yeah, like if he scores a couple of goals, like if you look at the goals, he's had to do it as well, like well if he could be up there and he scores another three or four goals and wins the club. He probably shouldn't because they'd won that now um club level. He'd have to give it to him at least, but he could, you can understand. Yeah, you can understand and he was at he'd be getting it. Then you'd have to throw their belly into the mix, couldn't he? Well, I suppose you could as well, he could win the Champions League on a woke up. You might score another two or three goals as well. Get six or seven the goals. There's a few people out there, isn't it? Yeah, true, yeah. Remember the days of messing around though. But which one's gonna win? It doesn't matter how many goals you score. Especially whoever won the most, wasn't it? That's what should have won it before, I remember the it was a big injustice. Yeah, yeah, yeah. True, score a lot of goals. Yeah, so you might, you never know. Hopefully not. So uh this robot was from Sam, the name is um what's bigger, the Super Bowl or the World Cup? World Cup. Two World Cup, 100% bigger. Well that's yeah, the World Cup. He might be American throughout. Well, look if he's an American i if if he's American, he might think the the the like the the the Super Bowl is bigger, just say right. Because that was the Super Bowl in America is bigger than the football in America. But football in general is a global sport, isn't it? Yeah. And it's watched by billions of people. The Super Bowl might have a couple of hundred million, I don't know. That's what I do a bit of research on that. It might be exaggerating, it's probably a hundred million now, though. Some of them are different, some of them are not, but it's like I'd say 200 million. What did the Super Bowl get this this year? Do you know what? I'm gonna split the difference. I'm gonna say 150 million. I'd say 230. Very close. 215 million. Yeah, but what they're saying is the what they were saying, 220, 210, 215 is the average. The World Cup final has to be over a billion. Yeah. Sure. Yeah, what would you say that the opening game of this World Cup got? The opening game of the World Cup. Yeah, 970 million in the in the whole world, like many viewers they got, yeah. But the Super Bowl didn't just get 250 million. The Super Bowl didn't get just 215 million from Americans. The what gets watched in England or that's world that's global. So what did the fourth round the fourth match of the World Cup get? Billion. Right, 2.1 close. I think it was 1.2 billion. The opening game. That's what I'm saying. So that's the sense. Look at the guy. If you would just say I don't know much about it, but just say the San Francisco 49ers. Yeah. So they're a good side, right? Yeah. They say they're going to win the Super Bowl to say, right? But their fans will say they're the best team of the world. Yeah. Rugby team. Because that's the way they look, really, isn't it? In America. They're saying the only people that play that sport though is in America. So they're saying we're the best team. So that's it's a different that's the way the Americans look at that sport, doesn't it? Yeah, yeah. That's their World Cup more so than soccer, just say, right? But as it as answer the question, there's nothing going to be. There's enough people in America to make it massive, isn't it? And I believe the views in America now, as you said, even for this World Cup now, I suppose the astronomical, like compared to like Qatar and even five years ago, just say like fairness you said last week, they're all full savings and fairness. They're not fair, but they're prices of some of the tickets and all. There's a lot of good World Cup events. Like some of the tickets people were buying them like in advance off like ticket master and proper websites for like five and six hundred dollars and all. For like I don't know, Holland against Iran or something where these teams like so gods. But the coach you talk about we just come because we were saying last week, we were saying like what was the thing of the World Cup and you were saying like the surprise you were saying the best surprise for it was the way it was run and the three table. Oh yeah, the three nations. I didn't say last week we were on it. One week on they're all knocked out. Look at that football. I think I took its course, I think. So week to week, isn't it? That's it. Yeah, but uh no, yeah, that's it for this week, isn't it? Yeah, so 46, done and dusted. Right, we'll have to be a little announcement. So we we're gonna take a break now for two weeks. These fair are focusing out on the holidays. So uh to be back then, when you just be back to 28. 28 to be the next one. Tuesday the twenty-eight. So then the twenty-nint then'll be the the next one now. Episode 47 will be out then. So I'll use the ego listeners will be waiting to get to the next one. 47 minutes in the next one. Yeah, 27 minutes. Hopefully, you'll have to wait. Well, hopefully, man United have a few signs by then. And the war could be over by then, so we'll be able to look at it older than Dublin winning the All Ireland under 26. Yeah, yeah. Or whatever it is. This week isn't my candidate. Yeah, um yeah, look, just thanks for having that listened the last 46 weeks. Yeah, it's been a long 46 week. No, it's been great. Very enjoyable. Thanks for everybody the interaction. That's great. Thanks for all the questions. Remember, we just send Sean in questions on Instagram or gone or whatever. Thanks very much for all the questions and the interaction is really good. Yeah. Yeah, and look at if you have any uh Antonio you want us to do when we do come back, send around me of two weeks to obviously look over and make a few decisions and whatnot and have a board meeting, you know. Yeah, like here, yeah. Yeah. Have a board meeting in the pub, yeah. And forget it all by the end of the night. Forget what you're talking about. But uh yeah, no, look, thanks for listening over the last nearly year. We'll take our two week break now and then we'll come back next year and we'll do it all over again. Yeah, and that's it. It's only two weeks, then you so it's not long to wait. No, yeah. All you ego listeners out there that are giving out now because you're here and we have to give it for two weeks. Enjoy the World Cup final and enjoy any other sporting events that you're into. Stay healthy and you'll hear from us in a couple of weeks. Thanks very much for listening. Appreciate it. Thank you. Bye bye.
