On this weeks episode we started with news from around the footballing world which included the passing of footballing icon Franco Baresi. We then touched on a few transfers before the lads dissected Man Uniteds lack of transfer business this summer. We then answered some questions from the listeners.

SPEAKER_02

Welcome back everyone, lads on the Sideline Podcast, episode number forty-eight. It's me, Connor, joined by me brother Sean, as always. Hope everybody's well. Welcome back.

SPEAKER_01

Vinno is sitting there in his lead jersey. How do you feel, Vin? Ah, epoxy. It's a blue one and not a white was on with it and a little bit not as bad, you know what I mean? But I never thought I'd never see the deck, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_02

Oh he looked out, you know. The only good thing you got from it was you said months ago, after I lose the foot in a Lady jersey on each day live up hill. Yeah, you horse. Foot.

SPEAKER_01

I'd walk out. No, I do. If I had to live jersey, I'd fold and put on my head in the same way, hadn't I? It's on my head, we would be wearing it on my head. Yeah, Age of Big Rivals, like yeah. But look here it is where it is. Like we just that's the forfeit, and just where we're doing the podcast was for a bit and laugh, and this is a big fucking laugh.

SPEAKER_02

Photographic evidence is to follow this podcast and worry about we had to uh get cross out on the the holy water to put in that force in the flames.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, it's like a woman like the wizard of oz. Fucking melt.

SPEAKER_02

Mark actually asked the question, may as well put it now. He said uh where's the where's the photo of the jersey, even up? That's answers that question for you, Mark.

SPEAKER_01

Well, can't call it on Insta I won't be looking at it on Instagram.

SPEAKER_02

You're gonna say it out on Instagram, but uh yeah no.

SPEAKER_01

So them thousands of people that are following us on YouTube will be able to see that all the all the millions, yeah, millions and billions of people will be able to see it. Well, like the money to go out, doesn't all have the opposite united. Millions and billions. Yeah, millions and trillions, yeah. Uh yeah, no, welcome back, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Episode 48. We could be back last week, wasn't it? In fairness. Yeah, it was very good. Nice to see a couple more people from different countries and stuff. So thanks very much for listening.

SPEAKER_01

Well, it's great, great feedback. Yeah, Sean, you're the same questions. You're the good great feedback as well, don't you? That's brilliant.

SPEAKER_02

It's much appreciated. Yeah, so absolutely.

SPEAKER_01

You know what? We're just ready to ready to go again with the new season, isn't it?

SPEAKER_02

The week's going quick, yeah. Yeah, it flies in, doesn't it? Well, we are only talking we're going to the the Unite again next Wednesday, aren't we? We can't slate. Sure, we are only speaking. That'll probably February or March, wouldn't we? Saying, oh, that'll come around quick enough. I'm sure it's eight days away.

SPEAKER_01

Time flies in. It doesn't matter uh to know what time it just flies in because you're looking now like we're all working and you're just looking forward to your next thing and next break. If you're decently output to revel it at like anyway, you just wish the life away. Actually, you should just be looking forward to waking up and just enjoying the day as it is, but it's just it's in people's day and a night, isn't it? Just have to have something to look forward to. Down the road, you just wait for that then you say fucking it doesn't have six months, can't yeah, for real.

SPEAKER_02

But uh yeah, so for people that aren't doing this and just to explain the lead jersey. We sort of did a bit last week, didn't we? But it was we did a predictions table at the start of the year, and then every week we gave out our results for the the league, and then we'll kind of toured out the three of us. So we'll take the picture up um on Instagram. So we're gonna do the same again this year. Uh over the next week or so, we'll put up our predictions for the season. And then every weekend then we'll give out our results and hopefully mean you can catch Sean this year. Shot him on easy last year in the end, isn't he?

SPEAKER_01

So yeah, well you nobody winning this season this year. Same as fantasy football.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well that's what we're saying. Sean's a fantasy football man, isn't he? So if we're gonna set one up for the for the podcast and we'll stick the password up on Instagram and whatnot, and yeah, we've got people that are people to anybody's more than welcome. Actually, Glenn wrote into us that he's gonna do fantasy football this year, so that answers another question while we're here. Yeah, yeah. So uh yeah, no, we do it. It's a bit live, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so if you can stick it out though. Yeah, but Connor once you miss too much.

SPEAKER_02

I know if you give up playing Antichrist or something.

SPEAKER_01

Only for that reason. That like like see what your predictions are like, but just really because like if there's other games that's near the bottom, that look it's not interested in every game, but we are because we're doing a podcast. But like when you're into fantasy football, it just gets you into games like that. Well, it makes you watch them more as well, doesn't it?

SPEAKER_02

If you don't, cannot you know, keep up right, even try. You're ready to go once he's putting on, he's gonna sing you'll never walk along. He's researching it already. Wait, what's that?

SPEAKER_01

Is that a song? We'll never hear that song.

SPEAKER_02

You might borrow some different quickly moving on. Yeah, so look at we didn't get straight into it. A bit more of a relaxed podcast this week, a bit longer last week because it was a fourth one for a few weeks, but uh we jumped into our news. Again, not tons of news this week. We had loads of news and transfer news last week, but not tons of either this week. Um we started off with two managerial pieces of news. One came out of play, wasn't it? Anyhow. Yeah. Gone from Newcastle. Um was he sacked or was that um moved from?

SPEAKER_01

No, he left, I think. Yeah, I think he left because I left backing him like he's I think he's just selling all his best players, fair enough. Yeah, true, yeah. And like he's a very good manager, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

So there's only so much you can do or take when you're losing all them players. Gilma Rise, we're gonna have a minute.

SPEAKER_01

It looks like he'll nail on to be arsenal. And then even last year, right? He was a big player to be to lose. Like, I mean, it's do you know what they're selling closer, wouldn't you?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. Or did he think he'd be just like a man city bringing in the owner? Yeah, he came in at the wrong time with that kind of money, didn't he? Yeah, to do it just didn't walk out and was hollow, isn't it? Man city are massive. Plus, they've been successful, so that helps. Yeah. And they get away with it, even though they didn't get away with it. Is that a suspended band? Suspended, yeah. What's that then? Oh, they slip up once more going with it. They're just not gonna do it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, she should have punished them. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

That's not a punishment.

SPEAKER_01

No, she should have deducted them the points that other teams got deducted for. Exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Forrest got deducted points, didn't he? And Everton.

SPEAKER_01

Leicester. Yeah. So Hampton. Yeah. Sheffield United, was it?

SPEAKER_02

But the Chelsea's and the Cities have way more money at stake than what's happening to them. As such, 10 million. It's fine and ten million. Sure, that's Enzo Fernandez's wages with the locked over.

SPEAKER_01

That's like you're dropping a euro or someone just saying nothing pickle up some water. Exactly. You know what I mean? Like you just say, what's the point?

SPEAKER_02

That's a little better than we'll you were. Yeah, they woke up the bell for us in there.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we were fans, I guess.

SPEAKER_02

Pay for a holiday, you know. Yeah. We're going all inclusive to the bananas we are down here.

SPEAKER_01

Well, we're going all inclusive over to um to Chantan Racing in October.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, that was a bit strange in fairness. What's the the other chap saying that they got in?

SPEAKER_01

You can league, isn't he? What's that? It's the Saudi Pro League. Like, actually you won two leagues with them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we don't know much about them. Al Al or whatever, whatever it is, but but I mean it's been a man's team, was it? Like you won two leagues, like uh Matthew Giselle is his name, just say he's a German and he's 38. So he's young.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, two years.

SPEAKER_02

So again, he's supposed to be and I'll give it to him a fairness to some of the German managers who have decent in the Premier League, don't you? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, they do like up and took and yeah, Matt or Brighton. To match it, like you know, it's a it's a hard league. And I give it to him as well, like uh they'd probably air more and Saudi Ray, but you would have had to deal with big personalities over there and big wages and all.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, challenge yourself again definitely. Look, you'd be challenged now at Newcastle with them all losing all the players. But I mean they're spending money too, like Newcastle, you know what I mean? Like they'll they'll get players in. They're still a big club, but they're not but they're more of a selling club, isn't it? Because as you said, that Saudi club money that comes in all the time, they can't spend it like just willy-nilly on anybody just say, so it's it's money that you do came from revenue and on and sales and they're not really a big commercial club, are they? No, I think they're big in Newcastle, isn't it? Yeah, yeah. I'll have massive in it. Oh, but look, commercial and it's great, it's a one a one town, one club, like in a Newcastle, and that's it. Yeah, yeah. But like around the world, like they wouldn't be a huge club. So commercially you did not bring in like hundreds of millions like United and all. That's why like and Eddie Hell.

SPEAKER_02

Well didn't really do if like you said they got what's your man's name, Voltemar and Vissa, like they didn't walk out. No, so he's acting like so. So it was a waste of money, you wouldn't like her. Like Newcastle, alright, the two lads are gone in the middle. They should be trying to go out and get Walton now, shouldn't they? For Palace or a big name, someone who's yeah, like these had the players like to come in and alright. You thought maybe he could have gone to one of the bigger clubs, but they should be going in and trying to nip in their games.

SPEAKER_01

Well, look at me, if you live in Crystal Palace and you're going to Newcastle, you're stepping up as a club. Yeah. So I mean, and and then if you do well, then you're going to be pretty nidalised by the fans because I mean they're good fans in Newcastle and passionate about a club.

SPEAKER_02

It's weird that no one's not been in for him. His name is bounced around a little bit, but not actually serious to the point where like they're talking about.

SPEAKER_01

You never lose the ball.

SPEAKER_02

No, no.

SPEAKER_01

Never good left footed player, like real real steady on the ball, just saying he's like a good player.

SPEAKER_02

He reminds me of sort of now obviously the levels have dropped big time. I know all the midfielders years ago, were like sort of big and physical and all, and then you had Skulls, who was more of a Spanish sort of midfielder. Wharton reminds me of that. We have like Tanali and Fernandez and all these lads that sort of quick and strong and a bit physical. But he's probably the better footballer out of the world. Yeah, he knits all together.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he knits all together. He sees the he never loses the ball, does he?

SPEAKER_02

I think though, looking at the rest of the prices, why wouldn't Crystal Palace I don't know what's left in his contract, but why wouldn't Crystal Palace with a hundred million? Yeah. But he was talking about 70. They'd be right to do that. They'd be right to do so, yeah. Or if you don't, then you keep them. Yeah, that's it. You don't need money, Palace. But they've sold all them players SAs and Lisa's and all throughout the years. So what did you want for free? No. Elise? No, I don't know what boy and buy him from. Was it 50 million or something? But they have money through transfers.

SPEAKER_01

I paid nearly 50 million for him. See, the thing about Crystal Palace is to get the recruitment right as a guy. You look at the way United sell bleeding players, too. Useless, isn't he?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Useless are selling players and taking them off the books. And you look at Crystal Palace like I know they have to be a seller, but you do a great job. There's a lot more better clothes than United that doesn't, isn't it?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Useless.

SPEAKER_01

I mean, yeah, it's talking about the difference in Crystal Palace and then you're going up to United. You know they should have the best in class with you, but you don't. They think they do, but they don't say the words, it doesn't make sense. No, they're talking to their ass. That's it.

SPEAKER_02

That all links into the second managerial thing was because your man Mark Skinner now, who was United's women's football manager, left. Because like you said earlier, he's just not getting backed. Not getting backed. They're not putting the money into the women's football. And they lost a few players as well. Yeah. There's your woman at Arsenal last year, didn't she? What's her name of it? Yeah. Whatever her name is, and just how a woman at L T home leaving and she's born in Manchester and the United States and all this.

SPEAKER_01

If they're not going to show ambition to win that and like they won it, they got to the final. Did he win the FA Cup two years ago, maybe they got them a couple of finals, like so, but they're not going to be showing any ambition for the league, which everybody wants to win the league. We always say this not me anything. That's the goal. Anything can win the cup, as you say, because you can win you can you you can win a cup on Pennsylvania every match and win the final on Pennsylvania and crap, but still win. The league is up and butter, isn't it? Yeah. And they don't seem to be showing any ambition either for the women's team. They seem to just want to buy young players and youth to build the academy for the future. That's not good to us as fans, like to say that now imagine it'd be good now another seven years down the road because you've graced 16 and 17 and 18 and all.

SPEAKER_02

That's why wokes. We think City and Arsenal and Liverpool are all sitting on their arsenal. We're buying these players. They're buying the exact same players. Do you see the players? And 100 million pound players into the bargain. You see the money City's Academy has made over the last couple of years. See all the players that they had, like the likes of the Lap, Morgan Rodrígues from there, so Cole Parmer. Like they've probably brought a few more players than what United have been. Yeah, you still followed them down, but they kept on to him of the players. And United We always say a last week, United could have a whole academy sort of five or the front six with Rasher and Greenwood and Garnaccio and all these players and Maine and Pogba. But they all just somehow they all fall by the wayside, don't they? So now it must be a personality thing amongst them. But surely the club aren't helping that as well. Like surely there's something wrong at the football club where all these players fall off the bandwagon.

SPEAKER_01

Like and do well in other places now, like not them all, but do you know what I mean? Like but there's good talent in them all that was noted properly, like to get them all wrong. How do you get all that talent wrong? No, you can't.

SPEAKER_02

The force thing they don't get rid of all them players, more or less. Which was good, but and they do keep their cars close in their chest in terms of transfers, but it's a bit too close.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, do you know what? Do you tell you look, do you know what and I went to the hearts? I don't know whether it was yesterday or the day before, and they're saying now they can get rid of this playing, or they're not interested in this playing and they're not interested they tell you all this well now and tell you the players that interest us and go out and get them.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I mean? Like they spin it around like another way to think that they're doing a great job, like, because we're not interested in them. Oh, we're never interested in them, we're never in. Don't be tennis when they're interested in. Tell us who you are interested and go and get them.

SPEAKER_02

They're very good at doing that, actually, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Spinning the books, yeah, kicking the can down the road. Yeah, and then fucking depressing us. Week to week, like the weeks are flying, there's another week on now and they do nothing.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Talk, talk, bleeding, talk, they're like tea bags, they're fucking dead, these are just keep talk. Do no no action. No, there's another week on now, and we were talking about this last week. Hopefully, you have a bit more information next week. You fucking know.

SPEAKER_02

No lead, no one leading, no one sold, no one bought. No, if anything, it's worse. And before we go on to the transfers, I'll say the last bit of now. So Finn over to you again. You're the you're the man when it comes to uh paying or commiserations to people, you would have known them more than we would have.

SPEAKER_01

That's the difference, isn't it? I know Kevin Keegan obviously died last week, and then his funeral probably be a couple of weeks down the road. So if you're not being last week, yeah. But um Franco Berezzi's only died the other day now, but it's like here, isn't it? Like a couple of days ago, Catholic country just saying, I'm not saying it, but the looking things are done, then yeah. It's just you go to say, right? But I believe now we didn't say obviously just there, but I believe the fans left and the thousands and thousands for uh all the IC1 fans. Because when he was there for 20 years, as I said last year, he got relegated a couple of times with them and won everything with them, and he was just a brilliant player. Brilliant centre half. You know what I mean? Like one of the best ever. Like if you Google him now when you didn't have much about him and you did he's a he's up there with anybody that would be classed as one of the best centre halves ever. Oh, yeah, 100%. Oh, he's small, is he? Small, yeah, and play centre half, but what a player like Red again, well, great on the ball, just say the reader of the game to say like you don't have to be fast, but he was fast, he was good in the air, he had everything. But like he was just when he's not there, he's a loss. You know when you know when your players would say like Roy Kane, if he's not there for your night, just say they put Nicky Board in, who's good as Nicky Boot was, just say right as well to say like he's not Roy Kane. Yeah. Do you know what I mean? Like, where like if you have a player that's so good, target replace, but he was right there as the centre half. Do you know what I mean? He was in a World Cup, did he?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he won a World Cup with that, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

So great, great player he was. Yeah, so I think he won a World Cup, came second in the World Cup and then came third in the World Cup. I'm not I think he's probably the only player that ever did it. Yeah, because you don't even got a goal and silver in the pond. You got injured in a World Cup or something, and final or something. He got injured early in the stage, early stages of the World Cup, but he's I don't know whether he was nearly sank or not, but it's a it's a it's supposed to be I can't even remember it's that far back right now. Like we would only thought of this and this just reminded me of it. But I couldn't even looked her up to say, but you're only throwing it to me now, kind of like that we're talking about it. And um you're supposed to be out right for probably eight to ten weeks. And he came back and played in the final, played all the final, and he lost, he missed his panel in the final, and now that just said you lost your say, but he was on his knees, he played the whole extra time, and he wouldn't put you back for months. That's the type of player he was, he's just rare. Like, you don't get them now, too. People are going down on the ground now and believe not, just blowing at you.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I mean? Like sure. He got cropped and he did his best to try and make it back to the into the play, you know what I mean? And he did, but yeah, Jake McDonald's goes out with his family because I tell you one thing, and all the Ace Man fans could, but they get relegated and be such a good player and twice and just to stay with the woncal for twenty years, it's great.

SPEAKER_02

I was gonna say to you, but remember we used what did we used to watch years ago? We used to have like a reading in the years version of football. I remember Franz Beckenbauer, remember we watched it, and he he just did he dislocate his shoulder in the World Cup final, and he came on and just wrapped his arm around his body playing the rest of the match.

SPEAKER_01

And and now you probably wouldn't be allowed, obviously, you know, like health and saves and all now the way things are now. But but that's the way people were years ago. You know, stitches, don't be stitches, put a band around my head and let me play on.

SPEAKER_02

Fair enough.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, look at rest in peace to him.

SPEAKER_02

And yeah, come here, like I'm sure there'll be a statue building him at some stage. So you're getting a new stage around you think yeah, fair enough that you might I might even name it a stand after.

SPEAKER_01

I'm sure he will.

SPEAKER_02

A hundred percent, I guarantee he'd probably be able to have um, he wouldn't run in charge, I don't think. What's that? What Saturday week? Yeah. I'll be facing full team on batteries. Yeah. Yeah, unleashed Rashford on them.

SPEAKER_01

You never know. You might take Rashford, they could be playing against tonight. He hated he got rid of them. There's a bit of a rumour of him going to Fen Apache, wasn't there? So yeah, well hopefully goes for the few minutes.

SPEAKER_02

No top club's gonna do it. Simple as that.

SPEAKER_01

But you know what? Would you would you leave United to go to Barcelona or Aston Villa first and then Barcelona, then to go to Fern Apache? You know what I mean? Like if they're gonna pay his money, maybe, but he's fucking going downhill, isn't he? We don't want them, we don't care what he does, we don't want the back United. No, you can't really believe it. Don't care if we go to Fern Apache.

SPEAKER_02

Too much of a risk. Imagine he has two or three bad games in a row and it looks like he has a bit of a bad attitude, it's just being a toxic environment, straight back. Too much of a risk. Risk reward ratio, which is just too far in the face.

SPEAKER_01

No, and what does he do when he walks into the dressing room? Connor said that actually the beat before, so his jersey's gone, his fucking seat is gone. I mean you put your jersey number ten down beside your seat, so where do you go? Do you sit out there at C7's fucking six? Because if you're telling you I rather sit in his never gonna be a ballboard, no, we'll never be the same.

SPEAKER_02

No, he has the tattoo of his arm or his leg or something, the number ten jersey for Unitedly. So yeah. If he says, even if he says it and tries to make himself believe it, and Cunny could be nice enough to give it a jersey back, that's just kind of creating. We've taken so long to get rid of that environment. No, we can't have him back. You can't think it's too much of a risk.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and Carrick and all you like be saying like that he like he could re reinstate into the team and he has a play somehow. He doesn't wake up, Carrick, fucking grow a pair of balls, starting to do it. Start challenging them, and not being no yes, man. Don't want rational being.

SPEAKER_02

I mean, if he said that we're gonna win the United win the league. Well, I hope so. So he said not because he played for them, because he said Carig knows football, knows how to win, he's he's calm, he's all the shouting and things doesn't work with top personality. So you don't need to do it. In May, now he said, think back to this interview, think back to the awards that we said.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I hope he's right.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, fingers crossed. Yeah. So it sort of brings us up to a bit more transfer news. Again, it's sort of the only the only bit of United transfer news because the rest is just nothing. Initially nothing. Uh the Athletic are reporting that before the start of the season United wanted to get three midfielders. But now they're sort of rethinking their plans. And you don't know whether to put that money elsewhere into the team, but like how how do you do that? It's a joke. Like you needed an extra midfielder last year. Yeah, yeah. You bought two, one is gone, one is injured, yeah, and we got two, surely we need another one. Yeah, but definitely 100%. But Mason Mount, they're saying it could be the extra midfiller. There's a question as well. I'm gonna just share it with somebody's questions as I'm going along, so they're coming back to them and repeating the topic. Yeah. So uh Shane fitz's name as he wrote into us. Mason Mount as the extra midfiller is a disgrace. Would you agree? Yeah. That there is talk of it. Like Carrie Really takes a disgrace for the disgrace. I think that is if that happens. This fella can't stay fit. Yeah. I don't care how good he looks in preseason, he's not gonna stay fit. What happens then when the transfer window's closed and you're playing the when the Fletcher brothers in there?

SPEAKER_01

I'd rather bring Boy Adair back and and and as a goalkeeper and play in the middle of the panel. Yeah, that's So it makes the mountain that he's nearly had to miss as as many games as he's played. He's only played like seventy odds.

SPEAKER_02

And he's not a central midfielder.

SPEAKER_01

No, it's brilliant.

SPEAKER_02

He looked great against a a a a b a C team of Let's go Madrid. Oh yeah. Whooped he whooped brilliant. And Rob look good against them, probably ACL twice.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what you know what? He he's not even he missed like four hundred bleeding days. He missed in his three years. And he he's played like 72 games all the 54 Premier League games all he played united in three years. Jesus Christ. 54 in three years. Most of the benches. But you know what? It's not and do you know what? It's not even that. As you just said a second uh Sean, it's just too fucking brittle. Yeah. You just you just you just can't rely on. Do you know it's like I was just thinking about like the other players who who who was the worst for injuries that you're trying to get rid of all through the years to say, right? Um and you just held on to them, held on to held on to them, and then you just end up going, and here I was trying to think right, and it was like fucking Phil Jones, wasn't it? Yeah. Wasn't it? Yeah. They couldn't get rid of him. He used to bleed and say him. Can't be putting Phil Jones back as a centre half.

SPEAKER_02

No.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what I mean? Like all the injuries. He's as sprit as a fucking fizzle stick. He was not the edge of the heck of a fucking fizzle stick years ago, and it's as fucking sweet as years ago, but he's useless, I tell you. No way, he's too brittle.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. It's a shame, but again, he's not a centre-mid failure. I think if he was fully fit and everything, he'd be able to not challenge Bruno, but like that he'd be a number ten more so, I think. Oh, he's put him on the wing or something. Yeah, a little bit tricky and sort of, but he's traditionally a number ten. He gets great. He's not a centrum and failer. No. Jesus Christ. He'll go in and do a shift, then sure he's a good character and he's supposed to be really a good professional and all that. Yeah. But he just keeps getting injured. Yeah. And I heard So no. Supposing whatever injury he had, he could have got an operation. But United said no to the operation. Because at the time he would have been out of like six weeks or something. I'm sure he's been out for a little longer than that. It's on whether I don't know whether it was it was an Achilles or like a hip or something a bit different. Yeah. Where it's not like a crucial, it's something that you could have sorted with an operation out or six weeks back what he said now.

SPEAKER_01

That's their own fault.

SPEAKER_02

For putting up a delicate shocking, isn't it? But like we could like you said last week, like Shaw, Martinez, Mason Mount could all play. And they're all injury prone. You can't have three players starting a match that are all injury prone. As soon as that window closes, the next day someone's gonna get injured. You can see it. It's happened so many times. They need to get their fucking head out of the gutter. If you start signing players and do it now, the league is two weeks away.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like if you if you're saying you're planning playing one game a week and most of his fucking injuries is in training on how's he going to manage two games a week? Oh yeah, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Back in the midfield is in the most demanding league in the world, in the most demanding position in the world. Oh yeah, that he's never gonna get injured. Yeah, fuck off. No, no, you see it happening. Patty Power wouldn't even take a bet on that.

SPEAKER_01

No, he got money, you're definitely gonna win. Yeah, do you know what? We said, and every man United fans says it, like uh for this for this season alone, just say right, do you needed a big huge overhaul in the middle? And then we've we've got uh our seventh tier player and our eighth tier player, and we didn't get any of the four six. Do you have to get a midfielder that's above them two uh to replace Casemiro still? And if it's Mason Mount, well, do you know what? Well, not that I'd be making me fucking self-head, but if I could I would. I'd be shouting on the fucking highest three. As a group, I think we all have because it's Manchester United here and their net spend is 40 bleed million pounds a year, fucking Ipswitch and all, and Coventry's as net spend is £36 bleed million. Do you know what I mean, Like? They're about eight or ten so far spending money.

SPEAKER_02

No the gas uses the air where's the money they have where's the 70 odd million or or 50 odd million they're gonna be sorry, 50 odd million they were gonna give to for Belab last summer after they bought everybody else? Yeah. And where was the 65 million they're gonna give for semen or uh Semenio? In in January. Yeah. Where's that hundred and fucking odd million gonna get?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the ninety million come here if you're gonna go down that road as well, right? What about the ninety million they get from Adidas? What about the sixty million they get from Snapdragon? What about the twenty million that they sign it the other day now, like from Bethway or something? Is there a super group wherever just say, Where's all that money gone? Where's the hundred million gone that you're supposed to be getting for the Champions League?

SPEAKER_02

In their pocket. Or the or the even closer to home, the 85 they're gonna give to Fernandez. The reason he went to Sports is because Spores paid more money up front. United wanted to give 70 and then 15 million at all, whereas Sports gave 80 and 5 million. That's the only reason. But we got higher ways, yeah. So they had they were there to pay that money, like so and you still have it. Yeah, so I think it's a three out of ten this winter. So far. Closer to a two. Honestly, for me, that might sound negative, and now people are gonna have a go at me. But some people have said I've been taunted, they've been saying, Oh, wait till you said have loads of time. They went, No, we don't think you can start two weeks from now. Yeah, you need to integrate these players in, and what happens if you don't get someone? Then I'm calling it out now. If they go out and spend and let's say somehow they get a big centre midfielder and they buy a good strike we're happy with and get Lewis Hall, and then I say, right, firm, it's gonna go to a six or seven now. But right as it is right now, Danafin is full of confidence. It's a two, it's a three out then.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they're leaving it too late. These fell should have been in already integrated into the team. What are you waiting for?

SPEAKER_02

Everybody's back. Bruno's back in training today. Yeah, and like where you said earlier, with Crystal Palace selling players. Have you ever United sold? No one, like Xerxes should be gone. Note should be gone. Like the these players should be all gone now, they go about it. The Highland money came through this year, didn't they? And we got 10 million from Greenwood as well.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So this was the thing. So they spent 85 million, right? So if you take the Highland money that they got whatever it was 38 million to say, right? If you get the money that they had to get in for Famace amount to Seri, and the stuff to savers of the money from the license Sancho and the Casemiras wage that gone down to Sarah, that's accumulated to 40 odd million to say. So the net spend is only 40 odd million. Jesus Christ, yeah. That's all.

SPEAKER_02

And he spent a lot more money last summer when there was less money coming in. That doesn't make any sense.

SPEAKER_01

With a new manager, that's own that's that's a yes man. That's no proof of how good he's going to be. No hope he's going to be good. Now we did well just going because he's the manager, we'll back him. But we hasn't proved that yet. Like, so there's Will Cox and Barad and all and and and all that. You still haven't proved that yet. He saved money on Amron as well.

SPEAKER_02

Because I mean he's been he signed. Because you took the saved another ten million. They weren't paying him like when people forget, they thought, oh no, they paid him out, they didn't. They were paying him his weekly wage or monthly wage to the end of his contract, which would have taken two years. But because he signed halfway through it, wherever he was due between he signed the contract with AC Milan to the end, that's just that's just dead money. Yeah, you forfeited it in the case. Whatever, I don't care. Maybe they paid him that AC Milan go, fuck, he's gone. Yeah. And that's more money they saved that you were expecting to pay. Exactly. And you just take the blame, then you'll you'll see anyhow or an inexperienced manager, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

An inexperienced manager, and uh and uh it's the worst window that any manager came in. And if you look at all the other managers that came in, like uh like before that, with the likes of Amaron just a right. He proved he was a good manager say Overland Parta, just say right. Amaron just say, right, and then you obviously you like you 10 Hag, and then you had Mourinho and all that. They all got backed. It mightn't have been the brilliant backing, just say right, but Carig over all the managers, just the worst window I can remember for a summer window.

SPEAKER_02

Especially like Carig doesn't look like he's stupid, like he looks like he has a bit of a head on his shoulders, and he's a fucking midfielder. Yeah, no, it's not as if they can pull the wool over his eyes as if to say, ah, these two midfielders are some of the best out there. Yeah, he's no haven't replaced him.

SPEAKER_01

The crack is, yeah. I know, yeah. You haven't replaced Ray Ken, and I don't think he ever will. But like he knows what the midfielders look before Man United, so he knows what he wants. He should be screaming from the bleeding rooftops together. Maybe he is.

SPEAKER_02

Three more bits of transfer now. Again, Man City hasn't officially signed yet, but the trap that's from Morocco, the midfielder, the young fella, Booodi, I think 70 to 80 million euro. The hair sort of hair, yeah. Yeah, signing like 18 or 90. Yeah, he's a good player, yeah. Uh I think Leo wants a back alone, so they're trying to walk that out. That's that'll be two midfielders now that they'll sign by 700 million. So I guess that's Roger how do you replace out the next 10 years? Yeah, look at that's the ambition there, isn't it? I might see each other plays absolutely advancements, yeah. Exactly. Ernot midfielder then gone to Everton. Could be a bit of a threw, Norgard. From Arsenal, yeah. Nothing you kicked the ball from Arsenal. No, yeah. No, seven million. He's gone to Everton, so that's a good sign of Everton. Yeah, yeah, I have to say. He's a good player, he just couldn't get in on that team. All the games we were playing, but like that's how stacked Arsenal are. I won't get into them, but I'll give them a little a little bit of a complimentary. Yeah, Lucky got seven million for the won the league, no matter how not getting into the details again. People are probably sick of hearing me say that. And he got to the Champions League final, and you're on for the double quadruple. Why? Because he had depth in squad. Yeah, yeah, which is not terrible tactics, but listen, it worked. Yeah, exactly. Last one then, just sort of because he played at Spores, um, and Spores are trying to get him back. Carlo Moani is on his way to Uventus 45 million euro to sign him from for PSG, I think it was, isn't it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. So we'd be still stuck with him. Yeah. Fucking useless meister.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so that's all the news. Uh transfer news. You watched the game the other day, didn't you? Atletico to Friendlies. Yeah, they're getting a bit better and a bit sharper united, but it's still hard as hell, isn't it? Like, it's too early and friendly to you. Lazy though good, and he's obviously excited now because you're not playing atletico, but it's not really like you know only two or three four.

SPEAKER_01

You can see him not going into full tackles and all the friendlies, the friendlies are probably told, look at it, we know with any injuries and you do get them, don't get me wrong. But um you could see that it wasn't fairly easy, he flew in ones, didn't he? Yeah. Good.

SPEAKER_02

But look at Camera, I know what you mean though. But look at you I can't look forward to the seasons at all. Unless they get their fucking finger on. Like I know they're not thinking finishing last tour last year, you think already push on now, but they've done nothing. And everybody else is doing stuff, and you're like, you know what, we're just gonna finish eight again. Yeah, we'll never get close to winning the league. Nothing really 20 owners. Whenever they have a chance to capitalise on a half decent season, they never do. No, they never do.

SPEAKER_01

This was a great opportunity, wasn't it? It was shot at the midfield, struggled in the league last year, it wasn't a great league. Go out and get a couple of players in the midfield and push on.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Not in the league, but no, but push on.

SPEAKER_02

You won't do one if you don't have depth of squad, it's just simple. Especially with the players we have. Bruno can play every single game, and many players like him though. And yet the Litz, he's not bad. Martinez, he's gonna get injured again with his back. Exactly. You can't rely on Helen and Yorry yak because they're still only young. Yeah, the law of Majori, Majeri gets injured a lot as well. Yeah. You think about it. It could be only a couple of matches here and there, but he does. Yeah. Tesco's he's still on the horse than an injury. He's he's waiting as well. Only a year, he's injured twice. That's you know what I mean. You know, he's done very well actually, don't get me wrong. But where's the centre forward, lads? I know, yeah. He's got forward up front and all like he's like he's he has moments, but he's never he should be playing for Torino or something. Yeah. So I think he's he's a he should be playing in Serie A that type or the Bundesliga for someone. He's a professional footballer, but he's not going to be. Well, we've gone from having four. I mean we have Jerksy's not even a centre football.

SPEAKER_01

He had Cowell York, Sheringham, and Solskjaer.

SPEAKER_02

And then when one left he replaced him with Van Nissen Roy. Yeah. When one leaves replaced him with Tedez and Ronaldo, and he left Van Percy came in and Chicorito.

SPEAKER_01

That's like we say you need four midfielders because it's like all the he always said you need four centre forwards, there you go, we've won. And then you get other players that were that brought in to play as wingers, that if he's injured, he'd put them in there, but they're not centre forwards. So you put him Braymore in there and then you'll do a job for the bridge. That's all you do, he's not a centre forward. Cunha's not a centre forward.

SPEAKER_02

Don't be surprised. If the boy only has four goals in 12 games, if you have to play and 10 of them up front, he's not fucking forward. Yeah, and that's it. Like we were watching the game the other day before we go on to show the questions. And he got the ball out wide a good bit. But you can't cross the ball into the box because the bemo's in there, and he's like five for nothing. No, and that's it. I mean, like when if Cesco's not playing, that's where you have your Watkins or something more. Yeah. And you can't do the Xerxy because he's the weakest, tallest fellow that's in me life. Too casual. Yeah. That brings it nicely into the questions. Yeah, for it well, yeah. Um it does, yeah, it does force one anyway. No, this is sending from Darren again. He wrote into Have we noticed any different tactics from Carrick so far in preseason? Um he pressing a bit more, or is that just the games that they were? I say it's you during the day then, didn't I? Sometimes the odd presses the team and it's well. But then sometimes it won't press us, and he looks back and they're lol like 20 yards behind and they're like, come on. And then sometimes they're trying to play good football and you do little good bits of movement, and then the next time McGuire still has it and he's walking on the wall, walking on it, you know, and kicks out for a touch.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, do you know what I think he just sticks really he likes the system, doesn't he, of um a 4-2, 3-1, doesn't he? And then that system doesn't allow you really to be pouncing on bleeding, the goalkeeper passing the ball out to the fullback or the centre-half, and they all retreat and just say to the halfway line, and then that's where they just de-block her all off then and they don't want the ball going through the middle. So if the ball is last on the ring, and then they can counter-attack quick. But like that's all right to say right on the work last year. But I thought they got better players in that maybe even improving that this year, but as regards to like I haven't it's hard to judge a couple of friendlies, but like we just thought, like, if you they got um there's still three weeks of inter left, and I'm not even saying you have to be patient because we're fucking patient for 13 years, so we were trying to argue being fucking patient. We shouldn't have to be patient. You should this year they should have the players in early, and that's it. If they were going to go for Chimamania and he was going to come in, or you had to wait for after the World Cup, but well and good the World Cup was on. But those players said they could have got, they could have got fucking Tanali. He was he was free, just not free, but the guy we wanted to leave you put in transfer. Could have got Lewis Hall, they're still looking for him.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Do you know what I mean, like? So they're just stupid and slowed by the other thing. So if if he'd have had these players in, you could have said, like, or if you'd have had more of his players back, like Bruno Fernandez and fucking Delone on talking about them to say. But if you'd have had it, you could probably answer you'd probably answer that question better after the four games of the Premier League.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah. You know what I mean? Like, I know what you mean, so like you know, yeah. Well, they watch the last the fourth game or the last game.

SPEAKER_01

Well no, and fairness, they would like to the question, just say, right? Now when I know they're only friendlies to say, and you can't we can't be given eight and nines out of tens and friendlies, just say, but the younger Santos Zigaroff Chelsea looks like a half-decent player. Yeah, I give him that to say. So I mean like now he'd be the only one I'd pick out because I wouldn't be mentioning, as you said, Mason Mount. Do you know what I mean? Like, um, Yoru looks fit and looks alright, and he played his three games, so it looks like he'll start to say, but we know him. Yeah, so I mean like so the only one we don't really know about was the was the younger and software is the only one, but you really can't pick because they're only friendly.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not playing PHG on Saturday, aren't they? Yeah, you know what I mean?

SPEAKER_01

He looks good. Now he looks very good. Now like he had a great game the other day now, and he's tricky and he can go right or left as well, so he's good now. So he's he and and and uh he's a good prospect that's had to come over the academy as well. Yeah, so like which we always throw in like the lights that you're saying, like the lights of May and all, they just say right, and Rashford and all like through the years and all that. He definitely looks like a good prospect. JJ again, isn't he? 15 year old and 15 years.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, Yamanda plays in the middle. He's most great, isn't he? Yeah, yeah. Yeah, you see him taking three kickers. A bit like James More Provide, he does when he's hitting them. Yeah, as I always say, these are the fourth group now, like we were saying earlier, Rashford and all these sort of good players, but the club let them down as much as they did themselves now. So these we'll see how these get on over the next or four years. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Weighed them in a little bit like a COD ground, like yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, exactly. Um so this sentence from a new listener, Kenneth said as a Newcastle fan, should we be worried about dropping way down the table as we're selling all of our starting eleven? Yeah, that was it's the other fans. Yeah, but look what we thought about earlier on, didn't we? Like I know you touched on it earlier on, but they're a selling club. Yeah, like in Eddie Hell. I think if I was used, I'd be worried, yeah, to be honest. Yeah, yeah, I would be.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like in Eddie Hell, like Khmer, like he was a good manager. Yeah. Like you come here they won the cup in 2023, didn't he? Carbo Cup, 421 in 70 years.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, yeah, no, they were a team that was very hard to beat. Yeah. But they were definitely a team you'd look at thought, just say two years, Jesus, they could stay in the top four. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But I'm sure there's some of their fans probably looked at and thought, Jesus, in three or four years, we might even channel for a league. Yeah. Well, you didn't think all the best fans with him. Wherever there's five of our starting eleven gone in the last two. And the manager. Yeah. I know they got the money now, but like and the manager, yeah. Even the license trip year is gone as an experience there now, what right back like so I mean. Not last season, the season before. He was I had many fancy football every week.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, like you said even he just even mentioned him, kind of. How good would he be in the dressing room and then? Yeah. Sh like like he might have got a bit slower than whatever can be, but you can't beat that experience.

SPEAKER_02

No, he's been around. So I mean, like, you really can't. And it's like you said, it's massive. Like, midfield is such a vital role. The most important them to pair in the middle and Joey Linton were a nightmare to play against, weren't they? Yeah, they're now gone. Like you'd nearly be saying Gilmar Rice and Timani was nearly the best two midfields in the league. Any team to take down to any team, I think, would swap out their midfield friends. And he couldn't argue. So Natalie Gordon, yeah, that's what I was going to say. That's the two midfield partnership gone. And then your whole left-hand side could be wiped out as well if Lewis Holly goals as well. Natalie Gordon. And then your centre board last year. So he got a couple of goals, but like what he finished by about twelve, did he?

SPEAKER_01

I think so, did he? So I think it was about twelve, I think. Like this year, wasn't it? No, I think it was about twelve. Do you know what I mean? So they really really went backwards. So even the last season just proves it to that candidate. Yeah. Like that they are going backwards to say as a club to say, right? And then the manager now, like, is it nine of the coffin there? Like, so it'll take them a couple of years now to I think they go back up again. Yeah. No, look, if you have this new manager in he's only 28 from JM, you know. So don't know. See how we get to it. I don't mind new casting, like as you say, goes like no harms about or quarns about telling United and that like good games between the town, but like the fans, like, and the fans like they don't hate each other. There's not like a leads or Liverpool or C that like so they're they're a decent club, you know what I mean? Like an open class town.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I think they're in big trouble. But answer the question, yeah. I think yeah, they're made trouble. They bought a goalkeeper into him, I don't know, maybe one or two others that we haven't really heard. But unless these are gonna turn out to be little diamonds, but they'll only be careful. Like Lewis Holden all the time, they might obviously they won't want to sell him because Bruno Gemmeris is gone now. But he wasn't playing last year, really, anyway.

SPEAKER_01

He was a bit past player only, so I don't know anyhow's gone, you might put the you put Dan Bone in and then Dan Boone got the spot in the World Cup. That's crazy.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, crazy.

SPEAKER_01

You know what I mean? Like and he only young now he's only younger, probably toppy top, whatever just say we'll just like it's gonna be mad money for him, but like can't see him on the stage.

SPEAKER_02

Wham Basaka went for 50 million, yeah. A couple of five years ago. Yeah, so sure these 21 year old Lewis Hall should be that's still crazy. 50 million was crazy, but 75 was 70 years.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you know, so yeah, I think it's probably 67, but then you have to put it in transfer because do you know what you were on you the same day Sean yesterday was saying? Do you won't let them go draft and too many players go? She'll probably tell them, look, you're not gone. And that's it. See out your contract, you might have two years after three years, and they said you might go in and say no. You're not gonna play ahead and that's it, and then that's it. That's the end of it.

SPEAKER_02

You know, Aaron wrote in this as well saying, um, what do you think of all the Liverpool fans all over Ariola already? Do you see if I'm gonna get hammered to four or two with it?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but you know what? Do you know what? Jeez, I got slated. No, we know United fans are fucking impatient, but that's what I thought exactly what I was thinking when I was reading them.

SPEAKER_02

There's so many comments. There's some people in there winding people up and all, but it's probably going to the page of proper Liverpool fans. I think you see them on the stadium than that. Bots, if you want to call it. I think that's the word I'm gonna use, but I think you just need to relax. Give the fan a chance, I guess.

SPEAKER_01

I know Leeds beach is for two and I could have been already here, but it's sure, hopefully, everybody's back. And do you know what? Now I didn't see the game obviously does every level, but I'm sure he changed those on half time as well. I'm sure it was a he couldn't see the goals in the second half, did he?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, like 25 minutes or something.

SPEAKER_01

Right, so I'm sure it was a whole different thing than the second half in the first half, and didn't the people like give give him a chance, do you know what I mean like? But he now fans, I hope he's fucking shy. I hope he's brutal, I hope he's worth them slot. Do you know what I mean? Like, and I hope they do, Grandma, they hope you get sacked, and I hope you have shite like United have our years. Yeah, don't get me wrong, and hate them about Pills. But look, like Carlis Bay is fair, like he's he's a manager on a new job, just say, right, give him a chance. Three games into it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, and friendly like we obviously give it with United and not get backed. Has he really got backed to you? Like you bought the Spanish umflet as a winger who no one knows just saying no, he hasn't been back. But they lost Robison and they lost um Kanate.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Have they replaced any? No, well see if you bought two youngers at centre half last year. But they've been like heaven and Europe. You could have million them now. Oh jeez. Van Dyke is going to be another year older. Like they needed to they needed a centre half and a midfielder. If you needed to go out, no, obviously there's still time. And a right back as well, because obviously Trent left.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

But Bradley went. Remember he got injured against Arsenal that time as well. Friend Pong's just he's not he's not good. No tolerant. He's not a good defender.

SPEAKER_01

He should have bought him as a winger.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Salah still hasn't replaced. I know Bark Howler is the one that they're talking about, but they won't make events about him, eh? I really know. Another hundred million as well. Is that that's what you have over here? Take the chance there too, wouldn't he? A bit like Kyle Walker for me. If he wasn't as quick as what he was, yeah, I don't think he'd be the level that you'd be at now.

SPEAKER_01

He's pace is just adding another 50 million on. Yeah, that's the way it works out, isn't it?

SPEAKER_02

Well, yeah, like he says give the fella a chance.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I mean he's a skin magic. He has a big job in there, it's fine and changed. But we did we did say it. You said it kind of last year when you get a manager that's managing like the lights of Barman or a team that's lower down in the lake, and you do jump up or walk. It's hard, it's hard to get the walk.

SPEAKER_02

I know we touched on this earlier on, so we won't take much about Lucas. He wrote in this couple of times, so I haven't read his last couple of questions out. They were similar to other ones. I've text them back anyway. So you said uh this is Lucas. Why are so many United fans not more upset with this window, or is it just me?

SPEAKER_01

No, we are upset. Yeah. Fuck it, there should be more of the ones, are the things.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, there should be there should be more. Like the proper man United fans are find the old ones stay on defence, though. Yes, they are. Oh um certainly. Oh, it's uh Arsenal haven't signed that many players. Liverpool haven't signed. Fuck Arsenal, Liverpool. But they're so that too, but they're so far ahead of us in the development. Like they only need to buy two or three players. Arsenal in particular. Yeah. How can you compare it? We're miles behind us, we're building and we're not building quick enough. The fact that we're only that the team that is miles ahead of us is still doing the same business just proves the difference in the squad. Yeah, and he couldn't understand what I was saying.

SPEAKER_01

Stupid. They are ridiculous. They'll tell you, I'd certainly wouldn't be happy as you said a second, but two or three at the most, and that's it. Now you need to get the players now and you get the men and this and and you only integrate them into the league like Casimir last year, wherever it was, a couple of years ago, not last year, could you brought them in the last bleeding men at the windows and say, right? And all that just be done already.

SPEAKER_02

And all the cars are a certain price and you need a car. I know, I don't I don't want to pay that for a car. So you go you have to. Simple as that. That's what you want. Do you know what I mean? Like there's no alternatives here, like you're not gonna get one for cheaper. And if you do, it's gonna be worse. Exactly. Like, you have to pay the fucking money. It's gonna break down with no use.

SPEAKER_01

We haven't paid over 100 for a fair, yeah. You like what he says, right? If you like going to Brown Thomas and said a short tennis, I look all around the place and see if we can get a short tenner of Brown Thomas. No, you can go into Brown Thomas for a short of 200. Do you know what I mean like go in and fucking pay for what you want? That's the thing. Geez, they're feeling miserable, isn't he?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, they are. Um Martin wrote into us, will you get over to any games next season? Uh yeah, hopefully. Yeah, yeah, we'll show you. A couple of months coming up every month there seems to be something in Christmas and January, but from January onwards, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

We'll always try to be on the house.

SPEAKER_02

Every week there seems to be something, like you said, doesn't it? Yeah, and we got over in October, yeah. Direction playing Alan De Barber that weekend, didn't he? So that could have been a game he could have gone to, but lead you nicely into November, December then, Christmas and that's something. Yeah, trying to lead in games too. Like, yeah. But yeah, we'll definitely try.

SPEAKER_01

We'll definitely get to one, whether it's more than one, then we'll after Christmas, I'm sure we'll be squeezing somewhere along the way. We always see when I like it.

SPEAKER_02

Trying to grab as much as you can, but it's just hard. Life, you know what?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um yeah, so I think um the rest of the questions, yeah, they're all similar enough to ask everybody back anyway, so you think so. Yeah, there's um I think a fella won uh uh a fella near me. A fella I know. Um there's some coming in. Uh just into walker to have the abroad. Um his name, hang on, I'm just gonna go back through my list here. Yeah, no worries, yeah. You take yourself in there, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Just relax, shit. Dennis, Dennis. Just take this jersey off, and shite on it. I hope to smell the sweat off me. I've emptied 600 bins today, slept a lot of shite, and I didn't have a wash. Put your late jersey on. Make some worse after that. And I give it, I'll give it back to tomorrow with much sleeping.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Dennis wrote in um wrote it right into us and I talked on just himself. So we should do a keep or sell list. So I'm gonna go through United's team and keep them or sell them. Okay. Alright. Fair enough. Michael Carrick. Keep we'd have to keep he's the manager for two years, but at the moment we'd keep he has to wrap them up. By in there, go lemon's keep.

SPEAKER_01

You'll go one for each, yeah. Might as well. Barry disagree with it, but probably won't.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not gonna decide to do like the man Carl Darlow, he's only new, so I'm not gonna talk about the young lads either. No. Um Tom Heaton is still there, yeah. Vitek, actually I go keep a Vitech. He probably will go all the time. You probably have to, yeah, he's good enough to start, so he's just not gonna get into that team, so you may as well get some money from err Delow. Oh, yeah, fuck you have to be realistic in Keaton, don't you?

SPEAKER_01

Like if it was perfect transfer window, he'd be gone because it's not good enough, but yeah, there's other positions that you need to fulfil more than him, so you wouldn't even be looking at it. Harry Amass.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, he's 19, isn't he? Luke Shaw. Gone. Yeah. Sandra Martinez.

SPEAKER_01

I'd sell him as well.

SPEAKER_02

I'd sell him.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, I would sell him if you knew you could get another minute a center half of six.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, see, it's reliability. You can't have him there for ten games, he's gone for ten, there but ten gone. You have to do that. You can't build any momentum and get to where you want to be with players like the biggest shame while I'm exactly looking for Anne.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. And that's it. He's deadly when he's playing. You were the manager in your job, right? Yeah. Right. And you run your place over there, just say, right? And you were personally work three times a week. He's supposed to be in five, but he's brilliant the three days he comes in. Oh, yeah. Somebody comes in every day that gives you a steady fucking six and a half hour with ten every day.

SPEAKER_02

I'll take them the six and a half.

SPEAKER_01

You want reliability, don't you? Every day we need it's small. If they're not there, they're no good. No, I think simple.

SPEAKER_02

Uh Patrick Dorgo. Keep keep, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Next garret bail.

SPEAKER_02

Raspberry. Keep. Yeah. No choice. Ernie McGuire. Oh, you signed up a contract, but you had to pull the plug.

SPEAKER_01

But if you could get a 20% a half from selling them, yeah, it'd be gone five years ago. Never mind now. Lenny Euro. Yeah, keep it. Keep it. I think it's the lit. Gone. Oh no, he's he's a class back in, isn't he?

SPEAKER_02

Obviously, I think we're not going to keep him. O'Garty, like anybody knows listen to this. Just clean the fucking boots. Yeah, Tillemans, he's only new. Yeah. Fletcher Brothers is still too. I don't see much from them to be honest, but just is still too too early. You think Bruno Fernandez? Keep, yeah. Toby Mail. Yeah. Mason Mount. Gone. Get rid of him. Santos is no point. Toby Collier, I think you need to get a couple of million for him and say goodbye. I'm playing by him and Dan Gore. Just because get a couple of millions. If these youngers aren't made after a year or two, then you can't get a little bit more than you get a million or two from them and they can just trade them there, you can get you a six, seven, eight million just.

SPEAKER_01

No, and if they went with these players to come through and all that's about a year. Because we should be going out and buying the players that we want.

SPEAKER_02

Keep Brian and Boomer. Keep Marcus Rashford.

SPEAKER_01

Goal. Shouldn't anywhere near the club. Get rid of them, yeah. And what's he uh when is supposed to be back training? You shouldn't even walk back into League Carton. Trasher Azerxy.

SPEAKER_02

Cisco. Keep. Two other long lads there. Um I allo. Keep. Yeah. I don't know about him if they're a good enough offer came in like Sam.

SPEAKER_01

No, but you it's it's too late to win. If you're going to replace him with him just to continue, really. But you need him as well.

SPEAKER_02

He still looks like a boy, doesn't he? He hasn't never matured into it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but Amad gets a couple of injuries too. You still need you still need a big squad.

SPEAKER_02

You have to get no, that's um I meant to do that last week.

SPEAKER_01

But we've solved none of it then. No, exactly.

SPEAKER_02

Thanks for writing all the questions in that. Yeah, absolutely, yeah. So erm, yeah, that's it for this week, isn't it? Definitely shorter than last week, thank you. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Sales had gone last night, didn't he? But we don't really get much into the Scottish League, didn't show it. Oh, the same Abbott. Now we're only seeing on the neutral the Aberdeen and Hearts do we can see that? That was it, yeah. It's hard after. Saturday was it? Saturday, Sunday, I think. Hearts are winning on the L. And you were up near the end it would have been a good start of the season. See the two goals in injury times. Oh yeah. Jesus. And we'll tell you the the flag was on the flags and the screen wasn't on and the whole lot. It was a good atmosphere. The first league match of the season.

SPEAKER_02

Aberdeen at Burley, like the Toddry is a hearts, is it a fight?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, and then he did to come back and get two goals in injury time.

SPEAKER_02

I could certainly last during the last game of the season didn't go well by hearts. No, they exactly didn't start that well this year with the weather, has it?

SPEAKER_01

To force.

SPEAKER_02

Our team playing Shells are playing Ojax.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, Rovers are nine tonight, I think, isn't it as well?

SPEAKER_02

Shell Bournemouth are playing Ajax in Amsterdam, I think, on towards I think. Fourth leg of their Europa League for them. Yeah. So the English the Irish team is best of luck like.

SPEAKER_01

Now it's all with two legs. Do you win that with two legs to lead to league fails? It's money.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, absolutely. Oh yeah, best of luck to them all, anyway. A bit of luck. We will be back next week, Tuesday. The podcast will be out on the Wednesday, which would be onto the Leeds game, so people can either listen to that before the match if you wanted to.

SPEAKER_01

Tomorrow Instagram. Can you put it up and the leads after 24 hours? No. Put it on that as well. This is up for life.

SPEAKER_02

Donald Trump be able to see this and everything. But yeah, that's it. So yeah, thanks for everyone that's listened. Donald Trump might actually listen.

SPEAKER_01

Have a heart attack looking at me in my late years, so it could be new to World of Ebo.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, so we'll be back next week and thanks for listening.

SPEAKER_01

Thanks very much. Oh yeah, thank you. Thanks for listening.
