Hey there! So you know why I created the membership model, but what does it actually look like? Today, we are breaking down the first two tiers of our Integrative Concierge clinic so you can see which path aligns with your health goals.
- The Basic Membership: This is the entry-level concierge tier. It's designed for generally healthy individuals who want an annual exam, understanding of their body, and direct access to you for non-emergency acute issues (like a sprained ankle) without going to the ER.
- The Wellness Membership:This tier is a step up, perfect for athletes or those dealing with acute issues or mild weight/allergy concerns.
- Wellness Features: This tier includes genetic testing, a functional lab panel, and genetic-specific meal plans.
- The Education Portal: The educational program is included in the Wellness tier, featuring videos and handouts to teach patients how their specific organs, sleep, and digestion systems are supposed to work.

Subject: Question for PODCAST
Hello and welcome to the Learning Corner. Your host today, me, Dr. Nicole. Hopefully, you're finding your day well. Today we are going to be talking about episode 8, Finding Your Fit, The Basic and Wellness Tiers. So up until this point, we're talking about how I was a patient, how I am a patient, how that brought me into becoming a practitioner, and what that um what that drive really in ensues upon. So why I became the practitioner I am today, why as a patient I had certain questions and they never got answered, or I didn't feel they were answered sufficiently. So please listen back on our first um seven to go through more of my health history. Um what brought me into creating more of a concierge model or more of a membership model is because as a patient, it's really hard to navigate and learn all these new things, right? So um why why I did this as a as a patient, I really struggled to harness the why behind somebody telling me, hey, you need to do this, like that chiropractor, for example. They had a really good business model and they re had a really good backing to why you know you eat a certain way, but they didn't have a system for me to really help. They had a book, they had um our in-office visits that were very short, but there was no monthly touch-in or reason to why or expectations or the availability for me to even have that, like a coach all in one. So for me as a patient, I've been struggling to help myself until I came up with, well, what worked for me, what didn't work for me, what would have been better for me if I had known um all of these things. And and that's where helping to find your fit was geared upon, well, me as a patient, but then as a doctor for the past, well, since 2015, so 11 years, and then being a massage therapist since 2004, 2005, whenever that was, um, many, many two decades ago, um, I've seen patterns with patients. I've seen patterns where, well, if I would have had commitment, then I would have been able to help a patient, meaning patients can come and go, and you guys, even myself as a patient, coming in and seeing a practitioner and scheduling appointments because oh, well, you know, I feel like my bone is out, so I should get adjustment. I feel like my muscles are kind of twinged, so I get get a massage. I feel like I have a lot of pain right now. I need to go to a doctor and figure out why. So all of those things are great, but when you get older and you start having chronic diseases, chronic pain, chronic IBS, chronic, right, whatever that is, you're having this habitual, this thing that comes back over and over and over again, and the same things don't work. Those are the patients that I'm talking about. So someone who can't find resolution or a way of life or a lifestyle to help gain what they need. That's why I came up with a membership model. That's the patient that I want to help. The athlete who can't hit their gains, right? So I used to work with um heavy lifters back in my early days. Not a ton of them, but enough. There was a few. So if you're listening to this podcast, you know who you are. Um, there was a few who would come to my office and they would be like, man, if I could just lift five, 10% more, I'd be so over the moon. I could hit my goals, I could, you know, make records, all these things. And I'm like, okay, well, let's just try something. Why don't you work with me and we will assess your body and we'll see, okay, what is your what is your body telling you? Like, how are your knees? How are your ankles? How is everything aligned? Where do you feel weak? Where do you feel strong? Right? You go through the whole body and you assess grip, all that stuff. And you say, okay, so our goal is to increase your lifting amount by 10%. That's our goal. And if we can do that in two months, that would be fantastic, right? Right. Okay, shake on it, let's do this. Here's what I recommend. So I gave, for instance, is when you're at the gym and you're lifting like this, you need to work with your coach and watch very carefully that your body does this and not what it's used to, because I feel that's a deficit for you. And they're like, great, I will do that. So you gain a couple percent. Then I'm like, okay, now that your body's getting used to the way you stand, now let's look at um which muscles are tight, which muscles are not firing, and get those involved. So we did that with massage and then different techniques for the neurology before I even knew the neurology um existed. And within, I think it was like, I can't remember if it was a month and a half or two months, within a short period of time, like we talked about, they had made their gains. And both of us were like, wow, that's really cool. He followed what he needed, I followed what I thought was right, uh, based upon what I knew, and it worked out really well. So I started doing that with more and more patients, right? Some people wanted flexibility, some people wanted endurance, so it looked similar. We corrected things, we worked together, and then they did their part. It was great. So those are the best patients. So athletes out there, I love working with you. Um, we definitely can make your games, and in 20 years, guess what? Now we have genetics on our side. So there's genetic components that say, hey, here's your strength. You are an endurance athlete, or you are a power athlete, or you're a hybrid, right? And it'll say you need to work into your strengths and then you need to build up your weaknesses and work on your weaknesses, right? So you play to your strength and you work on your weaknesses. Anyways, fast forward, and you look at chronicity, right? You have the chronic patient who just can't get a handle on things, who literally either has had bad information or never really wanted to address things because they had kids and they had work and they had so many other things going on that they needed to address at the time. Or you have the elite athlete, right? Somebody who is going balls to the walls, and you're just gonna do it, and this is your achievement, and this is your goal, and this is what you're you're not gonna, you know, you're not gonna stop short. And then you have like the high achievers, right? So the CEOs and and and the people who are the influencers, and all the people who are very regimented, and they're up at five, and right, so all these types of people need somebody on their side. They need somebody to say, Hey, here's why, here's what your information says, here's what you need to do. And each patient, each of you guys, will either run with it, need more information, and kind of run with it, or need changes, and then some will say, Hey, you need to hold my hand. And that's what we're gonna talk about today: the membership model. So all of us can use a coach, a doctor, somebody on our side to really push us into our goals and to help us understand what we may not understand. And that is why I created the membership model. It's obviously not my creation, that's why I created it the way I did in my clinic. So, what does it include? Today we're gonna talk about the first two tiers. There are four tiers in my model, and today we're gonna talk about the basic and the wellness tiers, and those are the first two. Um, I uh I do run a private clinic here, Integrative Concierge. So, if you're interested in looking at what exactly it is, you can go to our website, ptbodytherapy.com. I'll link it down below. Um, definitely check it out under memberships. You can look at specifics there, but I'm gonna talk about basic membership. Let's just go through from the top, right? So, basic membership is basically the entry level. This is designed for you know somebody who is healthy, maybe in their 20s and 30s, who wants an annual visit and an understanding of their body, with directs direct access to me, your doctor, and your coach for non-emergency acute issues, maybe like a sprained ankle to avoid the ER. Um, also for some of those, like, hey, I went to the gym today and I could really use a massage. That's also how that can be used, or an adjustment as your chiropractor. That's where we talk about, you know, the the three um the three things that I do basically, right? So it's um body, so we have soft tissue and chiropractic care, and then it's neurology, right? So we have that portion of it, and then it goes into the biochemistry, which is like the genetic testing and all the food, nutrient supplements, stuff like that. So when you look at the basic membership, it's somebody who goes, Hey, I pretty much have a handle on what I want to do, but I need some guidance. I would really like to look into this so I know how to prevent in my 40s and 50s XYZ because my mom or dad or grandma and grandpa had Alzheimer's or cardiac issues, right? So they have heart attacks or strokes or maybe diabetes. Those are very common reasons why somebody would join for the basic membership. Um, then the wellness membership that's one tier above. This is kind of just a step up, but it's perfect for people who need to have monthly check-ins that want to, you know, like the athlete who wants to increase their performance, or somebody dealing with like weight issues or allergies. This is gonna be kind of that um, hey, I don't have major things going on, but I can tell my body's just not right. Or, hey, I really have goals I want to achieve this year, and I really want to optimize that. That's gonna be the wellness membership. Um, that's gonna add a monthly visit, like I talked about. That's gonna add more testing. So the basic membership has basic testing. It has um basically uh looking at your comprehensive labs, doing a screen of your whole body. Um, you can add on your genetic testing, you can add on your micronutrient testing, you can add on things like the education program, you can add on. Um, there's so much you can add on. The basic is kind of the here's you get started, and you're like, well, maybe I would rather have genetic testing or and genetic testing because I want to see maybe my family, we have hemochromatosis, and do I carry that gene? Or hey, how do I um how much time do I spend actually focusing on my sleep? You know, you look at your genetic component and say, actually, that's really helpful for you. Or nope, you don't carry that variant, so it's not as helpful to to worry or concern and prioritize sleep. So those are the things for the membership that for the basic members, it gets you in the door and it gives you a whole lot of information. So you sit down, you do the health intake, and then you look at um the whole body. So you come in and do an exam with me, and we go through everything. I look at your neuro and your ortho and all of the things. Are you working right? What's you know what needs to be looked at, um, maybe in a different light than what you're used to. And that includes the treatment plan and then basic meal planning, um, all at your fingertips. And then you jump into the wellness membership, and that's where you get all those tests included. Um, and when, like I said, if you look online, you're gonna see exactly how it's laid out. Um, but this is gonna be really, really helpful for those who are like, hey, you know, I want to get serious and I want to do um meal planning and I want to do it for my genetics. A lot of people use that. People are gonna find out, hey, my weight, it's a side effect. My allergies are side effects. What are they side effects too? And that's where we're gonna deep dive into that. Um, wellness features, basically, this tier adds genetic testing, pharmacogenetic testing for some of my patients who are on drugs, um, prescription drugs, and want to know are they good, are they bad, should I try to get off of them? Like I said, full disclaimer, I am not a medical doctor. Prescription drugs are not in my scope of practice. I do not recommend taking, not taking, and and anything about prescription drugs here in my office. But what I can do is the pharmacogenetic testing, which allows to see the drug reactivity in your body, and you can do with it what you choose, aka bring it to your medical doctor, switch off medications with them, with their advice. They'll probably be like, oh, thanks. That's very helpful. Um, this also then includes functional lab panel and genetic-specific meal plans. So when you look at the difference between basic and wellness, as you step up in the program, it's basically more time with me, more time with your coach, with your doctor, more testing to get more data, to get more directives on exactly how living your life is supposed to look to have more longevity, to lose the weight, to decrease the allergies, um, to really hit your goals when you're an athlete. Like, hey, I would really like to do the Iron Man, or I don't know, there's so many different um things that athletes do these days that I'm like, I'm old. Any athletes out there that are competing, I would love to have you on my podcast. Just a little shout out. So if you're if you're an athlete and want to talk about different sports competitions and just the whole overall athletic things going on here in Southwest Florida, I would love to have you on my show. Anyways, okay, so the education port port portal, this is a big component for me and why I created it was simply because every time I would see a patient, I'm reiter reiterating and teaching the same thing over and over. And not because it bored me or not because I didn't want to do it, but I feel that my patients, that that everybody who gets this education, it would be better at your fingertips. So I actually put all what I what I educate on for the body, starting with um smelling food and and our mouths and our digestion, right? Um, all the way to the toilet, table, the toilet. I have a piece on that. Um, but everything, the eleven, the 11 organ systems, I took everything that I teach on to help patients over the years get better and stay better, and then realize, hey, and now I can fish for myself when this happens and I need to do this sort of thing. Um, I put all of that into a bite-sized video, audio, and also like handouts onto an education program that goes bite-sized along with what I will be teaching you about your body in the clinic, um, prioritizing what needs to be worked on first, um, which is the foundations of our body, and then lastly, like things like fertility will come into focus. So we do have a hierarchy of our body, and our body says, if you don't have oxygen and you don't have activation and you don't have nutrients, I'm not gonna do anything else for you. I'm not gonna heal your wounds, I'm not gonna get pregnant, I'm not gonna, right? It just starts going, I'm gonna keep gaining weight, I don't care, I'm gonna have acne. I'm gonna have IBS because if I can't breathe, if I can't be activated, and if I can't get the right nutrients, I can't survive. So that's the foundation. And the educational portal is at your fingertips. It is right there on the Practice Better app. Um, it is set up to have um videos right there. Everything is reminding you there and saying, hey, look at this. Have you thought about this? Here's the education piece on this. Um, and it really goes through every area of our organ systems in our body, right? Digestion, sleep, the nervous system, how it's supposed to work, how to know when it's working, but it's not at a level of graduate school. You don't, it's it's mindless reading tidbits that will allow you to apply to everyday life. And that's the important tool that I really want to explain differentiates between the basic membership and the wellness membership is you have monthly check-ins, you have the educational program and portal right at your fingertips, which instills that coaching side, which walks you through and helps you gain all the knowledge that you're gonna need in that year to really do the do the things on your own. Not saying I'm gonna kick you out, but my goal is you know, we'll talk about this next time for the other tiers. The exclusive plan, if you're starting on that, you're gonna be more of the you know, the chronic pain, the um two illnesses that you have, I don't know, autoimmunity and Alzheimer's, I don't know, you know, you can list it, or the really, really high-functioning CEO who says, I need to be regimented, I need a complete overhaul of my life. And so eventually, what I want to happen in my goals for setting up the memberships is when you start on an exclusive level, then after a year, maybe you stay on it, but maybe the next year you go to a wellness because you've gotten all the basics down, you've gotten what you needed to, your symptoms are going away, but you still need a little bit more help. You still need time with me. So then you can stay on the exclusive or the wellness. And then once you stay on that for a little bit, then I'd like to graduate every person to the basic membership because eventually I just won't see you in my clinic unless you have a membership because I only want to see the 50 patients. I I want to have direct access as you will to me. I want to have direct access to you to really do the best job that I can for you. Getting to know you, getting to know your body, getting the information over to you that makes sense in real time and real life to get you better is the only way to instill lifestyle change. And that was my heart at doing this membership program, this annual membership program. I know it takes time, it takes commitment, and it takes it takes a team. And so when we get to dive into that, it's so great because I get to partner with you, I get to help guide you and understand who you are, where you came from, and where you're going. And I get to be that helper in that season for you. So um, the wellness tier is amazing for guidance, but what if you need more than just guidance? What if you're fighting chronic illness and need a serious health partner? We'll cover our top two tiers next episode. So, next time we are gonna talk about the exclusive and private tiers. I can't wait to have you join us then. Until then, signing off. It's been real. Have a great day. Until next time.
