WOW y'all, this one might be one of our best episodes yet! We discuss an all-time favorite and extremely cursed 1980s children's fantasy film-The Neverending Story! We delve deep into Melanie's fear and hatred of puppetry, the stoicism of German culture, the inherent queerness of fae creatures, and gender roles in the 1980s. This one is one of Saysha's all-time favorites, so the reaction to this one was HEARTBREAKING to say the very least!
Just a quick note: Around 25:28 Melanie's mic gets a little choppy so you can't quite hear, but she DOES say that Artax's death scene is "fucked up" and "sad" :(
