What's good y'all? This is Cordit. I'm James Gono. My name is Martin. I'm the group leader. This is Songyan. This is Juhun. We're at Amoeba. I'm doing what's in my bag. I'll start with my favorite album that I always, you know, get back to. This is like an album that I listen to. Like when I feel like I need to breathe. When I need to like, you know, sit back and kind of like take a little break. One of my favorite songs is Nutshow. And um I stay away and no excuses. Lane Staley has been my biggest role model of all time. So I relate to him a lot. I resonate with him a lot. How he just, you know, always stays positive, but also has this like you know deep side of him. And his music really makes me feel alive.

SPEAKER_08

I found this LP is called Sunburn by Dominic Fike.

SPEAKER_02

She said I will find out.

SPEAKER_08

Every time I come to LA, I listen to this whole album again and again. Every time I go to um other countries, I listen to this album set to set the mood.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

Yeah. I love this album and I love all the tracks. I'm a big fan of Dominic Fight.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah.

SPEAKER_08

He's a big fan.

SPEAKER_02

I'm not a promo.

SPEAKER_07

Future. Mixtape Pluto.

SPEAKER_06

Send flight through the city, got a burview. Get turned again, lady with the young crew. Got shots in the wall of the ball.

SPEAKER_07

You can never get something that is not exciting from the future, basically. His longevity is crazy. He's like the LeBron James of music, basically. And um, I love this mixtape. Personally, I listen to it a lot whilst just exercising. Just it's a good time. And you know, you feel like you know, you feel the confidence when you listen to it.

SPEAKER_09

I'll talk about this album.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, what became of the likely light.

SPEAKER_09

What be came The reason I found out this album is I was watching Pinterest. Like while watching Pinterest, I found a guy named Pete Dualhardi. I really liked his vibe and style so that I looked up and I found this band, The Libertins, and I found this album. I like it. I like this album.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, you can stamina.

SPEAKER_10

This is the Beatles album 1967 to 1970.

SPEAKER_02

Listen the sky with them.

SPEAKER_10

Recently I'm kinda into the Beatles. Recently? Recently. Okay. And I felt like the Beatles got the natural vibe, you know? Yeah. They got some a little bit of country vibe. Yeah. And also a little bit of punk vibe. Also kind of pop and also kind of indie too. So I think they got the good balance between that and the very first track of this album. The Strawberry Feels Forever. That's my morning routine. So when I woke up, I always start my day with a song. And like it kind of refreshes my mind every time I listen to it.

SPEAKER_05

Let me take you down, cuz I'm going to Strawberry Fields.

SPEAKER_11

Talking about Lane Staley, I would like to talk about this album, Mad Season.

SPEAKER_05

Wake up, young man. Wake up.

SPEAKER_11

It's an album called Above. And one of my favorite songs in it is, you know, The River of Deceit. The lyrics is just so much relating. My pain is self-chosen. Sometimes you just, you know. Oh, that song. Yeah, yeah. Sometimes you just choose your own pain and sometimes you make mistakes.

SPEAKER_09

My pain is self-chosing.

SPEAKER_08

Two-star in the Dream Police by Mickey.

SPEAKER_01

And if she's looking hard, she's gonna find it.

SPEAKER_08

It's very iconic and I never get tired of listening to this album. I think I first listened to this album in LA actually while like making songs and this is my favorite album.

SPEAKER_07

Songs in the key of life Stevie Wonder. This is a very meaningful record because my parents like had this song, had um Isn't she lovely on their wedding? So it's a very meaningful record and it's still a great song. Isn't she she lovely? It's still a great song. That's that really stood the test of time.

SPEAKER_09

Oasis. Oh nice. Yeah, the morning glory. Actually, our members really love this album and we all do. Yeah. Yeah, we all do. So that's why I started to like listen listen to it. I really love the song called Champion Supernova. Yeah. It's really great. I'm learning the guitar for that song.

SPEAKER_11

Oh, for real. Yeah. I know how to play Wonder Wall and Don't Look Back at Inger, but I don't know how to play Santa Fe. Which is one of my favorite songs too.

SPEAKER_03

Would you ever cover that song?

SPEAKER_11

We don't know in due time.

SPEAKER_10

This is my next album. Oh boy. Yes. This is like what of one of my like the greatest of all time album. Oh really? Yeah. I mean, like since I kind of learned how to like produce and make some make a beat and stuff. You know, like listening to this album felt like a whole different experience. I've been listening to this album even before I started music. Learning music and how to make beats, like this album kind of felt different, and like you know, his production and everything. It feels it feels like he's a genius.

SPEAKER_11

The Pixies. Pixies. Yeah. Two of my favorite albums. One is their first studio album, one is their second studio album. This is the one with the baser and hey in it. Um, and Here Comes Your Man. I've been listening to this in the plane actually, uh, on the way to LA. Um The Baser, you know, Francis just got great a great voice. Their music is so alternative and coloring outside the lines, which is what we're trying to do too. So great, great album. Great freaking album. I love them.

SPEAKER_08

Oasis. Definitely maybe.

SPEAKER_03

The other half. They said wait and see. Would you ever want to do that?

SPEAKER_07

The thing is, I'm more of a blur guy. This one is also a very meaningful record because Elvis. My grandpa is a huge, huge, huge fan of Elvis.

SPEAKER_05

If you're a Babylonian, you gotta tell the tail or just take a wall down on the street to Heartbreak Hotel.

SPEAKER_07

Whenever in a car, it would be rather like blue suede shoes or you know Heartbreak Hotel. Sometimes I just revisit some of his greatest hits to just remind remind me of when I was like a little, little, little kid.

SPEAKER_09

This is uh Chet Baker sings. And actually, last year I bought this LP from here, but I I didn't like open it yet. But yeah, I love this album and yeah, what I mean like we don't have like LP the we have a player, but not in our dorm. But at our studio, not yeah, that's true. I love jazz and Chip Baker is a really great artist.

SPEAKER_10

Before trilogy, trilogy, yeah. Um it's the series of this before sunrise, before sunset, before midnight.

SPEAKER_04

If there's any kind of magic in this world, it must be in the attempt of understanding someone sharing something.

SPEAKER_10

I feel like this movie is very beautiful, and I like how the actors get old as the series goes by. At first they were kind of like young lovers, very like passionate, and as and as the series go by, they kind of get like you know, mature.

SPEAKER_04

I guess when you're young, you just believe there'll be many people with whom you connect with, and later in life you realize it only happens a few times.

SPEAKER_10

Yeah, you can screw it up, and like their love also gets mature, and and I kind of feel like this is what we leave for, you know, it's all about love.

SPEAKER_01

Still there. Still there.

SPEAKER_11

I got jackassed the seven movie collection. I watched the one in the cart, but I didn't watch the rest. I feel like Jack S is just so us. Um we just fool around too much and we you know we're too silly. I think on camera we look pretty alright, but off camera it's kind of chaotic, so I wanna talk about this movie.

SPEAKER_08

It's called Funny Less Guy. Do you wanna hear Jeff Buckley or Vicky Carr?

SPEAKER_10

Jeff Buckley or Vicky Carr. Both simultaneously.

SPEAKER_08

I love all these photos and I love the color grading and the story. I love everything of about this movie. Yeah, he's handsome. Tom Cruise.

SPEAKER_07

Yeah, yeah, he's handsome.

SPEAKER_10

Dude, fix your fucking face.

SPEAKER_07

I got lock stock and two smoking barrels.

SPEAKER_00

This is one of them eye power jobs, isn't it? Some bad news for you, John. What the fuck? Mind your language in front of the boy. Jesus Christ!

SPEAKER_07

I really like this director a lot. Guy Richie. Guy Richie. Um Snatch Snatch. Snatch is a great one. I love Snatch.

SPEAKER_00

Caravan!

SPEAKER_09

Anyway, what's wrong with this one? It's not for me.

SPEAKER_07

Lockstock and Two Smoking Barrels is one of those movies where it's very humorous, but also the editing is very nice. It's kind of rough in a certain sense, but also it's unique. I think it in this movie influenced us a lot uh while making different self-made music video or just editing wise, we kind of reference guy rich movies a lot.

SPEAKER_03

Thank you so much, guys.

SPEAKER_07

Thank you so much. It was a great time.
