Bro. David Webb preaching here at MTHC on Wednesday night Convention 2026

SPEAKER_02

Praise the Lord, it's time to give service tonight. Amen. Thank the Lord for the privilege to meet and mention. I'm so glad to see everybody here in service. For the Lord just to have his way in this service tonight. And uh we're so happy to have all our ministers with us in the special man, those with us. Look forward to their ministry. Everybody else is here. God bless you. I pray that the Lord just had his way in this service tonight and in each and every service. And that the Lord just touch us with his word. Can we stand up in the service for prayer? Ask the Lord to bless and have his way tonight. Heavenly Father, we thank you for the privilege to come to church tonight. We thank you, Lord, for the privilege to gather in your name. Thank you, Lord, for the privilege to worship you and to know you. I pray, God, that you'll have your way in this service tonight for your glory. Touch each and every heart, Lord. God, I pray. Pray, Lord, that you'll bless us to uh worship you in spirit and in truth. You know, every need that was grown in here tonight. I pray that you'll help us to leave it at the altar. Not carry it back out, Lord, but to leave your chains, Lord. I pray. Oh God, help us tonight. Let everything we do bring glory to your name. Thank you for it, Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord.

unknown

Jesus Christ. We'll take the Lord each day to die. All songs will be as eternal joy as Jesus Christ in the light. Praise God.

SPEAKER_08

The same page number one eighty. Everybody will be happy with everyone.

SPEAKER_09

Oh, there's a happy land of promise. For in the drifty eye, and the same words out soon, the glory shed. For the souls of being shall enter and wall forevermore.

unknown

Everybody will be happy over there. Will I go for me?

SPEAKER_03

Will be happy for that. Well we want to fight.

SPEAKER_05

And they tore off the roof and they rolled it down. I walked to the house and wondered if somebody could come to the house and make up their mind that I'm going to do whatever I need to do to get touched in the world tonight. No matter who's there, who is there.

SPEAKER_06

No matter what your God is.

SPEAKER_05

Well, put your hand in his hand. Put your hand in his hand. Put your hand in his hand and don't let go.

unknown

I got my hand in his hand. And I feel it's not his hand.

SPEAKER_06

I'm the whole save. Put your hand in his hand.

unknown

Put your hand in your hand. Put your hand in your save and don't let go. I got my hand in this hand. And I feel it's not a time. I'm the whole thing hold the time.

SPEAKER_03

I still all over the store.

SPEAKER_06

We don't trade the turn.

unknown

Well, put your hand in the bed. Put your hand in the bed, put your hand, in your stay on the book. I don't know how you want to.

SPEAKER_03

I hold it to the flood.

unknown

I hold it to the bed. I got that. I got the bad. I got the track. I don't know.

SPEAKER_03

I've got the bullet for the back.

unknown

I've got this.

SPEAKER_08

Tonight we don't have any of our kids with us. Because we're both grandfathers now. And uh so it's it's really awesome to get to preach with brother and sister. We love him. So very much it's so well because no talking about, and he hopes the altar service goes good. And uh reference David said, Well, no pressure. And really, there's no pressure on him. If the altar service is going to go good, it's gonna be up to you. A lot of times we pray, Well, I hope the Lord anoints that preacher.

unknown

You know what? I've been praying a lot lately in my church. I hope the Lord anoints the congregation.

SPEAKER_08

Because I said this often in our church and around that we we we like to label what the most important parts of the service is. We'll say, some will say it's the sin. You know, it ushers us into the presence of God. Others have an opinion that it's the preaching. Oh, the preaching. You know, how shall they do without a preacher? Others, most will say it's the altar service. I say it's your response. Because if you don't respond, it don't matter how good they sing, how good they preach, what the altar service is like, we have got to respond to the Holy Ghost. Amen. And I don't want to take too much time here saying I'll have my wife's with us, and we don't maybe we ought to form a quartet here because we're both used to having our kids with us. But you know, we just came through Easter, and I trust you had a wonderful Easter service, and uh, I was looking at the Easter text and I didn't even preach because I was going through Sunday night and we didn't get to preach, but uh, you know, we talk about the empty tomb as being a wonderful, you know, proof of resurrection, and that is an empty cross. But you know what? If you feel, I think it's John 20 with those disciples that was locked behind closed doors. And while I've often preached, you know, he can come in your closed doors, you can isolate yourself, and he can walk through those closed doors, and that's good preaching too. How many knows what he did when he came in there? The Bible said he breathed on them. And can I tell you, I believe, in my opinion, that's one of the greatest proofs of resurrection to those group of people who was locked behind, because up until that point, all they had was hearsay. Well, Peter's saying he's alive. Mary's saying they're saying he's alive, but when he walked in those doors and he breathed on them, now it's no longer hearsay. I feel him. Amen. How many knows that God can walk in this building right now and breathe on us? But when the Holy Ghost falls into service, it's proof he's still alive. It's proof he's still alive. I can see the resurrected Savior over here tonight. I feel in this house, don't you?

SPEAKER_03

I tell you what I do. I think that was the working on the working on the preacher. I tell you what I do, I want to show up in our own.

SPEAKER_07

And uh love your family, love the church here. Appreciate the love, so we honored the meeting, looking forward to hearing you preach and uh we've been friends a long time, and uh we just about decided. Totally decided we'll be friends forever. Amen. Amen. I was noticing around to hear some of these folks that were uh shouting and running out. I think on the first this this meeting is only five services if I've got it right. We this is twenty percent of it tonight. All right, right. I'm from Kentucky, but I think I'm right on that percentage. Twenty percent of it's over tonight. We can't just have a warm-up service.

unknown

You guys have to like to see him come down in the house.

SPEAKER_07

I'd like to see them wear them out drunk under the power of the neighbors are saying, Oh, I think they've been into something over there. Maybe that can be a spirit over there. Because they're grabbing a bunch of drugs out. These men are not drunk, as he's supposed to see it in his butt. 10 o'clock at night, but this is that. Oh God, do it in this name. Hallelujah, praise God.

unknown

Let me hear Jesus do it.

SPEAKER_07

We're like a lamb led to the slaughter. Jesus never opened his mouth from the crown to the crucifixion, to the grave was laid out.

SPEAKER_03

As the light of mine became the bucket, there's some before the mouth, set the cow three cards, you don't have to break one thing, the line, the rubber, stay in the sun, we have the cow three cuts, you don't have to fruit one day, the teasers like this litter, telephone I both see what's rejected, I'm gonna make a sugar roach in the back of two things, okay, the light, what's like that, oh my god, you can see that we got to be the last week.

SPEAKER_07

He's alive.

unknown

He's alive for everyone. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_07

I'm feeling in this house tonight.

unknown

Praise God. Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_07

First John, chapter number two tonight. Look at first John, chapter number two. Praise God. Hallelujah.

unknown

Praise God.

SPEAKER_08

Praise God. Praise God.

SPEAKER_07

We have, if you will, please stand with us and we're able for the reverence. Praise God. 1 John 2, beginning in verse 27. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you. Somebody say in you. And ye need not that any man teach you, but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things that is truth and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

unknown

Somebody say in him. And now, little children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

SPEAKER_07

If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that everyone that doeth righteousness is born of him. Hallelujah. Verse 27, let's revisit it one more time. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you. I'd like to preach tonight on operating in the anointing. Would you lift your hands and ask God to help us? Lord, this is what you've laid on me for this first night. I pray that the power of the Holy Ghost will let me preach in the anointing. God, I pray that there would be a deep move of the Holy Ghost that would move through this house. For Sunday school teachers, for choir members, for singers, for instrument players, for lay ministers, for preachers' wives, God, for pastors, and everybody in between. Let the anointing of the Holy Ghost flow through this place and work your work in Jesus' name. Amen and amen. You may be seated in the presence of the Lord tonight. Amen. There are a lot of things that people operate in. Some operate in the flesh. They are driven by impulse and self. Some operate in man's wisdom, operating with limited human understanding. Some people operate in anger. They are reacting from emotion rather than discernment. Some operate in talent and they are relying on ability without dependence upon the Holy Ghost. And so it seems that there's been a generation that has been produced that if we sing good enough, if we play well enough, if we preach polished enough, if we teach educated enough, if we dress conservative enough, if we shout enough, that we certainly declare that we are operating in the anointing. But if I could say frankly tonight, if there are religious rituals with no results, then there is no anointing. If there are standards but no work of sanctification by the power of the Holy Ghost, then there is no anointing. Muslims have standards, but they're not anointed. Amen. If there is a form of godliness but no power thereof, there is no anointing. If there is emotionalism, but no yokes are being destroyed, then there is no anointing. Now I am not of the persuasion that there is a movement that is afoot that is trumpeting, that the folks in our churches never get anointed, and that it's all hype. I don't come from that persuasion. I've been around long enough, including in this service tonight, to see the anointing of the Holy Ghost on people's life. And we know that this is not true because we have all witnessed the true anointing of God on this day in our services. However, it is becoming more common, and many have adopted the policy to operate under the anointing and not in the anointing. And let me explain to you tonight the burden of my heart. There is the Samson anointing. We find in Judges 13 and 25, the Bible said, and the spirit of the Lord began to move him at times in the camp of Dan between Zorah and Estali. At times. He got under the anointing, but he didn't stay in the anointing. But there's a David anointing that we find in 1 Samuel chapter number 16 and verse 13. The Bible said, then Samuel took the horn of all and anointed him in the midst of his brethren. And the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward. Hallelujah. Oh God, we need more than just to be have a touch of the anointing of the Holy Ghost and just to get under the anointing. But we need to be full of the anointing of the Holy Ghost in this last hour. Is it alright if I preach to you for a few minutes tonight? Some seem to get anointed when there's a mic in their hands. But a lazy spirit overtakes them when the pastor's wife puts a mop in their hands. They're anointed at times. They seem to get anointed when they're asked to preach. But when it's somebody else's preaching, they're setting back and dressing down and beefing off with their buddies. They're just anointed at times. Amen. They seem to get anointed when they're singing a solo in the choir, but don't much feel like it when the pastor is preaching holiness. And so they head back to the facility and get their phone out and check their fantasy football because they're just anointed at times. Hallelujah. But I'd like to get more than anointed at times. I'd like for a group of holiness people to walk in the spirit of God. Hallelujah, no matter where we're at, the anointing is flowing through our lives. There is a big difference between being under the anointing at times and operating in the anointing at all times. The church was never intended to walk in our own power. But we were called to operate in the power of the Holy Ghost. Woo! Hallelujah. I'm feeling a little bit better right now. Hallelujah. Paul said to the Corinthian church in 1 Corinthians chapter 2 and verse number 4. And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the spirit and of power. I don't know about you, but I'm going to take tonight. I didn't come home with any fancy sermons and tickle your ears. And Renamadow didn't drive from Oklahoma for us to all say, wow, what a great sermon.

SPEAKER_03

But we came on business to see the anointing power of the Holy Ghost sent to the river people in the peels of what's breaking them.

SPEAKER_07

When the church was in its infancy, it was living bold. It was living dangerous. It was living persecuted. They risk it all in the name of Christ. And now everything's about being safe. In the middle, it seemed like after COVID. Amen. I had a deacon and his wife. Notice I say hey. They ain't there no more. They got upset when I had the communion cups handed out. Now I didn't have this one cup and everybody drunk out of it. Amen. I'm not that silly. I had the pre-packaged cups. I didn't touch the juice. I didn't touch the wafer. And they got mad because our democratic governor had said, churches, you can have church in your parking lot. But you better not take the Lord's Supper. When is the last time, amen, that the church started taking orders from the world? Hallelujah. Oh, we didn't feel very anointed at that point. I looked at my wife and said, if they don't want to partake of it, we're doing it anyway.

SPEAKER_03

If they be feeling anointed, to recognize, amen, the price that Jesus paid on Calvary, we're taking it anyway.

SPEAKER_07

Hallelujah. I'm telling you right now, the church was never built to play it safe. We were playing, hallelujah. We were equipped to be anointed by the power of the Holy Ghost. Oh, yes. In conversations, we hear phrases like, be safe, or stay safe. Amen. That's kind of become part of what we say, or travel safe, or shelter safe. Seems like after COVID, it's just about being safe. You can't say anything to anybody. I mean, you feel uh like if people miss church because they got a ruddy nose, and if you say anything to them, they'll say, Well, I'm just trying not to pass it around. But there it stands the next morning. Come on, reach, reach, come on. Well, I got a ingrown thumbnail, you know, Pastor. And I just don't want anybody to catch it. Oh, come on, somebody. I'm talking about playing it safe. Hallelujah. And because of this, we have lost our spirit to stand up because we want to be safe. We don't want to break anything, we don't want to offend anybody, we don't want to hurt anybody's feelings. We want everybody to have that sweet, cozy, comfy Sunday morning mocha latte experience. Smooth and sweet. I'm telling you, I've been praying. Oh God, I'm sick of smooth and sweet.

SPEAKER_03

Come on, let the anointing power of the Holy Ghost spirit of the church hands. Oh God, let us operate in the anointing of the Holy Ghost. I don't know about you.

SPEAKER_07

I don't want to do anything without him. Hallelujah. We want everything to be safe at church. Amen. But sin should not be safe at church. Rebellion should not be safe at church. Gossip and backbiting should not be safe at church. Hallelujah. Shacking up.

unknown

That's what we call it in Kentucky.

SPEAKER_07

Listen together. Fornicating, whatever you want to call it. Should not be safe in church. Unfaithfulness and carnality shouldn't be safe in church. Hallelujah. Oh yes. The church should be more worried about being saved than worried about being safe. I hope this is not a rabbit trail. But this came to me, and since Brother Snow said, say whatever you have on your heart, I'm going to go ahead and say it. I've been a few places and wondered God that folks are appointed that are the most unannointed people as security officers and PA runners. Go ahead and laugh. I know we want to. Thank God it's not that way tonight. I see Brother Double's got the eye. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. I want the guy sitting in the back that's packing the heat. I want a guy in the pulpit that's anointed. I want a guy at the back door that has the power of the Holy Ghost. Not just some reject. Amen that can hold any other position. Hallelujah. What am I telling you? I'm telling you, we need our security officers to be operating the power of the Holy House. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Brother, I'm not preaching at you. I'm preaching for you. I'm praying on you. Amen. You've preached enough to know that a guy on the PA system that is not full of the Holy Ghost and operating the Holy Ghost cannot kill the preacher. Amen cannot kill the preacher, right, Brother Snow, I'll tell you right. But if you've got somebody on the other end that knows how to give another deal with the preaching, you're preaching to Peter.

SPEAKER_03

You're putting it up there. Hallelujah. Operating the Holy Ghost. And the church rises and chats. Hallelujah. And the concept of the glory of God. It's a saturated run through the building. Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_07

Because people are operating in the Holy Ghost. Hallelujah. Oh, we need everybody operating in the Holy Ghost. After 9-11, fear was real. It was widespread. And our great Congress passed the Patriot Act. They passed it very quickly. The argument was safety first. But the trade-off was significant. They expanded wiretaps and broader surveillance. They increased government monitoring. They began to listen more than they ever listened. And we gave up our freedom in the name of safety. And I want to warn a generation of young people that's getting ready to take the reins of the Pentecostal movement. Don't give up.

unknown

Amen.

SPEAKER_07

The freedom to worship the Lord in the name of Satan. They'll say, don't take the, don't you get a 15-fassenger man? Because if that thing flips over on the way to Youth Camp, they'll sue you and sue the church in oblivion. And we'll sit at home in our little churches because we're afraid of the liability. But somebody got on a man for me.

SPEAKER_03

And somebody dropped me to youth camp. And somebody took me to practice in the world. Don't let the devil intimidate you and say, hey, the days of heaven and a vision are over. If you just walk in the spirit and make that kind of holy ghost, he'll take care of the rest of it.

SPEAKER_07

Oh, glory to God. Inconvenience is preferred over commitment. And social gatherings is preferred over the spirit of God. And passive positions take priority over principles of purity. We will no longer be able to operate in the anointing. But we will then become a religious club. And we'll be no different than the Masons or the Kowanas or the Fellowship of Christian athletes. Amen. Or the first church of Harper Ferry Sewing Club won't be any different. I said it won't be any different. If we embrace convenience and social gatherings and passive positions, but I'd like to embrace commitment and the Spirit of God and the principles of charity so that the Holy Ghost can flow through me. I don't want to just have it at times. I want it flowing through me. Listen to a generation who is getting in it at Winter Rally, who's getting in it at Winter Fest, who's getting in it at March Meeting in South Georgia, who's getting in it at PFYC at Pigeon Forge. Who's getting into it at man at Granite City? Who's getting into it at E Town? And you're feeling the touch. Hey man, you need more than just highs and lows. You need to get in there where you're just living in it. Hallelujah. It's just getting hoping. You're not just gonna touch here and there. And we're gonna shout a little.

SPEAKER_03

And you come in all the wings and you look at them on the face and say, if that's God's core chuck, I want to have a church in the way. Because I've been praying for prayer causes. Walking in the spirit.

SPEAKER_07

When the church becomes religious recreation centers and spiritual lazy boys, we're trading Pentecostal power to become a social club. Oh God! Hallelujah! How do I lose this thing in 2026? And I may not jump as high or run as fast, but I'm still jumping, and I'm still running, and I ain't playing on quickly until I get to the other side. 418 years ago, May 14th, 1607, our forefathers didn't come to America for safety. They came here for freedom. They were living dangerous. They braved the oceans and the storms in a wooden boat. They faced Indian raiding parties. They faced low food supplies, brother Melania. They faced raging diseases such as scurvy and other diseases. They faced intense weather conditions. It was a new land with no army, with no police, with no sheriff's department, with no security cameras. But they weren't worried about safety. They were worried about freedom. And I'm telling you, the church better get its eyes off trying to stay safe and start worrying about taking ground and walking in the power of the Holy Ghost and when the dangerous again. Worried about staying safe. They were just worried about walking in the power of the Holy Ghost. And what happened, Brother Marquis? Did they all, amen, have some kind of pity party? When they came out, Peter, rising up of the 11th, stood up and said, These men are not drunk as you suppose. Seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But this is that which was spoken of by the prophet Joel. In the last thing saith God, I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh.

SPEAKER_03

Some pigger orders shall prophesy. And three thousand souls say that church decided. Hallelujah that we're going to live dangerous.

SPEAKER_07

And it's been ringed like a bell in my heart. And it's time for the church to quit word about what people think about us. And just get back out to the power of God. It was 1920. It was a 22-year-old man. His name was Brother Swells, and his wife was Sister Swells. She had a pastor, some of you might know, of you. His name was Miss Willsworth. She had received the baptism of the Holy Ghost under Brother Widowsworth's ministry. And so when she came to Hodginville, and Brother Swells was in Hodginville. Amen. They started turning the community upside down. If any of you have ever been there, you probably saw it, Brother Snow. I know you have. I know you saw it too, Brother Marquis. But if you've ever saw that little church, it's a small church. Maybe the CD is about half the size of this. They would throw the windows open, throw the back doors open, and the people would stand ten deep around the power of the Holy Ghost would search through that place. One night there was a young lady who was in her mid-30s, Brother Nathan, and she had a hole in her side. They said that you can put a football into where cancer had eaten it away. And so she was standing up in the front. And Brother Swells came over there and he laid his hand on Sister Oaks and said, In the name of Jesus, I command this hole to close up. And he said, when he laid his hand on her, she began to take her fingers, and I heard her tell this, she told this to me. She began to poke at her side. This was, she was an old woman at this time, in her 87, I think what she told me. And she said, I felt there was no pain anymore, and I couldn't put my hand in that hole. She said, I went to a Sunday school right now, Sister Swells, to come with me. And she said, I looked, and it looked like God had put fresh babies in that hole that completely closed up. It spread like wildfire through Hodgeville. And they began to gather it around that church. And they began to search the power and the anointing of God doing again for us now. And so they began to sing and worship. They began to shout. There were people kin-deep around the church that began to shout under the power of the Holy Ghost. Some of one of the old cranky farmers in the area, he went down and got the sheriff. And the sheriff came up and slapped the cuffs on the pastor and the first lady and brother Farmy, the head deacon, and let them out the back door. They walked out the back door, walked down the church steps, and walked a half a mile down Maple and then down Maine and locked them up in the prison. You know what the church did? They didn't pout, they didn't go eat cheeseburgers, they didn't write, they didn't melody in and say, we're done. Brother Middle, you may have heard this, I don't know. But what they did is they just followed them right down there. And there was 200 freshly baptized in the Holy Ghost Pentecostals that fell on their knees and were at jail.

SPEAKER_03

And they prayed and they prayed until an hour later, the jailer came out and said, He was a preacher in his mind. Don't get out of here.

SPEAKER_07

We just don't want to offend anybody. We don't want to raise our voices against sin. Preacher, raise your voice against sin. It's still sin. We don't want to ruffle feathers overworldliness. We don't want karma lifestyles to be addressed because we don't want the kickback that it gives us. We don't want to make the front page of the bitter bloggers blaspheming. But I'm telling you, if I've got to be on the front page of the report every week, amen. I just want to make dangers for God. Amen.

SPEAKER_03

Oh my God. I want the devil.

unknown

I want the devil to go. Next thing's a preacher.

SPEAKER_07

If somebody preaches about kids' respect and authority, and being quiet. If somebody preaches about discipline your children, I'm not talking about amen. Abusing. I'm talking about just good, solid corporal punishment. Okay, guess what? Because there are some people that are now in the house at a different time. Listen, if you believe John 3.16 is for now, you've got to believe all the rest of it. If I seem smart like I'm sorry, I probably does. Because it's just a little bit idiot. Sorry, sorry, sorry. Amen. Brother, brother Meadows report the bowl, eat to our eat. Hallelujah. Amen. And we don't want to mention homosexuality or against bondage. Enter relationships before marriage or against both. We don't want to mention organized sports. Because somebody in the church has got money and their kids is in it. They don't want to cross no wires and lose their tithe. Listen, I'm telling you, God don't need that.

unknown

Hallelujah.

SPEAKER_07

Hallelujah. You start talking about paying tithe and it gets quiet. Amen. But if you were to preach on neck as the same people, they'd shout to you the floor. Oh, God, help us. Hallelujah. You talk about how we're adoring and it gets quiet. You talk about men dressing like men and women like women and it gets quiet. You mentioned social media and its dangers. And it gets quiet. Amen. But I mention it tonight because I'm feeling dangerous. Oh, hallelujah. When you tell people their kids don't need a cell phone at 11 years old, they just won't. Well now I know that the deacons and the pastors' kids, they don't need a cell phone at 11 days. But my little Susie, she's mature. You know what Paul said? Oh Jesus, help me more Jesus. He said, I have no confidence in the flesh. Somebody said, Do you trust my kids? I said, Absolutely no, I don't. Because I don't trust my kids. And they're saying to five holidays, I don't trust them because I have no confidence in the flesh. The only confidence I have in the middle is if they're walking in the spirit. Hallelujah. Glory to God. Oh yes. The church doesn't need to get quiet. We need to get anointed. Because when you preach on sin and you know things of your anointing, it hits the spine and a work of sanctification happens. If you're just blasting and nailing everybody and pinning everybody's eye to the wall, it ain't going to help nobody. But when the Holy Ghost anointing gets a state of approval and touching, a work of sanctification begins to happen in the world. Galatians 5 and 16, I think may be the theme of the hour for this generation. This I'll say then. Walk in the spirit. Somebody say walk. Somebody say walk. Somebody say walk. He didn't say run. The I was in the spirit. We hope you're doing that when we're running. Right, brother? We're running, you running twice, didn't I hit you? Woo! We're running in the spirit. He didn't say play the keyboard in the spirit, although you should. He said you just walk in the spirit. All you gotta do is walk. You ain't gotta be jumping. You ain't gotta be running pins. All you gotta do is be a walking.

SPEAKER_03

If you're walking in the spirit, it will not fulfill the masters. I just want to walk in the spirit. Notice it's not the spirit walking on you. It's you walking in the spirit. I'm in the vein. Hallelujah. I'm right there in the middle of the presence of the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_07

I'm staying where he's at. Hallelujah. We don't need to tiptoe around people's feelings. We need to see the yoke destroyed. We don't need to hold back and act refined and reserved when we have new people visit our church. If they wanted six-foot icicles to entertain them, they would have gone down to the first Baptist church.

SPEAKER_03

But they came to the Holy Church because they didn't want to see what they didn't want to see. That's my preacher. And preacher holding it.

SPEAKER_07

I gotta wrap it up. We need to get to some hot dogs. Hallelujah. Praise God. We all need to be operating in the anointing. Laity? Laity, you need to be anointed. Musicians, you need to be in the anointing. Custodians, you need to be in the anointing. Because Brother Snow is gone. And Sister Snow's in the fellowship hall, making food for a read in the middle. And you're in here sweeping the floor. And some drug kid comes through the back door, and there ain't nobody here but you, custodian. If you're walking in the spirit, you can cast the devil out of them and pray for their salvation and send them all their way. Because custodian, yes, walking in the spirit. Sunday school teachers, amen. You need to walk in the spirit more than just one hour. Amen on a Sunday morning. But get in the presence of the Holy Ghost and see if God won't save some child in your Sunday school classroom. Hallelujah. Youth group, walk in the spirit. Choir, walk in the spirit. Preachers and preachers' wives, walk in the spirit. Assistant pastor and your wife. Whoever takes care of the church, walk really skull's gone. Even if you got a title or not, walk in the spirit when they're here or when they're not here.

unknown

Pastor, we have to walk in the spirit. We gotta stay in the spirit. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Aren't you glad you got a pastor and pastor's wife? That's in the spirit. Walking in the spirit. Don't you know we have a team tonight that's walking in the spirit? Do we have a security team here tonight?

SPEAKER_07

Everybody in West Virginia is a security team. I like it. Then that means that before we go get a cheeseburger, everyone, you need to be up here getting full of the Holy Ghost. Before all the security clubs, begin filled with the power of the Holy Ghost, the Spirit of God. Feel this house tonight with your privilege. Glory to God. Hallelujah. We always say, amen. We all when he said this. It's the anointing that breaks the yoke. Have you ever heard that? It's the anointing that breaks the yoke. But that's not what the Bible says. I think the intent is correct. And I don't really think it's doing damage to the text. But the Bible said the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing. Not just rogue. Brother TJ. CJ, what is it? CJ TJ. CJ. Brother CJ, when you break something, go get some super glue and glue it back together. When you break something, go to Minards and get some liquid nails and put it back together. But when you destroy something, they're putting it back together.

unknown

And when the church is operating in the anointing, and the turn comes to the altar. The Holy Ghost don't just break that yoke. It destroys a yoke.

SPEAKER_03

And when the people's voice always in the bad magazines and comes to the altar, the Holy Ghost don't just break that yoke. And when the devil put the back together, don't let me go stop and destroy that yoke.

SPEAKER_07

Hallelujah. Get ready to come, Saviors, if you will. If you have a shepherd boy operating in the anointing, giants come down. If you have a fisherman operating in the anointing, he can walk on the water. If you have an obscure Jewish girl operating up in the anointing for such a time as this, a whole race of people will say it. If you have a preacher on the run from Jezebel, when he gets anointed, he can outrun 450 prophets of Bill and can sure outpray them until the fire of God falls. If you've got a backslid disciple that prays through and starts operating under the anointing, he'll preach and 3,000 souls will get saved. I'm telling you, operating under the anointing makes all the difference. Somebody said, Well, you know, brother Ellie Savage had an amazing time with the Holy Ghost in his life. You're right in the amazing man. Somebody said, Brother Belance, brother Coral. And the Pentecost man is all here. Indiana. Hebrews with Claude Hill. Boy, they have an awesome experience in the Holy Ghost. That's amazing. That is great. But the same Holy Ghost that's in them, the Holy Ghost, it's in you. And the Holy Ghost don't get smaller because it's in a smaller vessel. I'm going to tell a generation here tonight. Amen. Don't don't don't don't don't discount what God can do. Can you sing that?

SPEAKER_01

I'll stomp on the devil's head while I'm wearing my shouting shoes.

unknown

Guess what, brother? You are a holy ghost still.

SPEAKER_07

So what do you say you do? I'll stomp on the devil's head while wear my shout shoes.

unknown

Hallelujah. Holy God!

SPEAKER_07

Only got three eyes. Hallelujah. I'm closing it. In 1900, there was a skeptic that was trying to confuse a young black man about the experience of the Holy Ghost. This critic said to this young man, how can it be that we can be in the Spirit and the Spirit in us? Trying to confuse him. But he readily answered and he said, There is no puzzle about that. It's like that poker by the fire over there. There's a fireplace over there. He said, I put the poker in the fire till it gets red hot. Then the poker's in the fire, and the fire is in the poker. That's just more than got the wild poker.

SPEAKER_03

But we can get the poker in the fire. Hallelujah! Oh God! More than all this!

SPEAKER_07

Stand to your feet on the closest building. I wonder if there'd be a fresh and then rush to this altar tonight. Put people's hands raised toward heaven and say, Oh God, I wanted the Holy Ghost in me.

SPEAKER_03

I want the dangerous for you. I want the anoria God in my life. I want the spirit of the Holy God.

SPEAKER_07

Oh no, please heavy. Let me help you. Can I help you? I'm gonna pass the right here. That's the cue. I preach this hard, don't preach for 30 minutes.

SPEAKER_03

It's time to get out of your seats and come to the front and throw your hands and the head and say, Oh God.

unknown

Let me fall down.

SPEAKER_07

I feel the link dangerous. I feel like the morning power of the Holy Ghost.

SPEAKER_03

Fire and let's have a free tonight.

SPEAKER_02

Hallelujah. That's the thing. Very thing. Amen. I thank the Lord for speaking to us tonight on this first round of convention. Amen. Appreciate the Spirit of God moving for us. Amen. Amen. It changes every aspect of our life. It'll change every aspect of our life.

unknown
