Praise the Lord. It's time to give service tonight. Thank the Lord for the privilege to be in church and thank God for all of you being here. And we love the Lord tonight. And I know that you've come to bless his holy name, to worship God, and I want us just to get in and worship him tonight. The Bible says worship him in the spirit and in truth. John chapter 4 said God is the Spirit, and they that worship Him must worship Him in the Spirit and in truth. Amen. Thank God for the privilege to know the Lord. And the privilege to come to church and together together with people of the same faith, amen, have the same desire to see God. And that's a great privilege. Amen. You know, when Peter said our Christ, the Son of the Living God, in Matthew 16, Jesus said, Flesh and blood have not revealed this unto me, but my Father which is in heaven. Hallelujah. Amen. And on this rock I will build my church. And the gates of hell shall not prevail against you. He said, I give unto thee the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Hallelujah. Can you just imagine that? Amen. Having the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Amen. And uh, whatsoever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven. Whatsoever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Hallelujah. On that one statement, thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. Hallelujah. Praise God. Amen. Let's stand and ask the Lord to have his way in this service tonight. Lord, we thank you for the privilege to be in church. We thank you, Lord, for the privilege to be in the sanctuary tonight.

I was sometime back in uh Houston, Texas, at a uh Pentecostal church of God, and they opened up every service in that meeting with uh singing that song. And uh I remember my dad used to sing songs, and uh recently uh when I was down there, I said, I want y'all to write down, I told my mom and dad, I said, I want y'all to write down all those songs uh that you sing. And uh so I've got a whole list out, and I ain't no way I would torment you and I'm trying to sing something. But uh I said, no better now. I said, tell me how in Solid uh my mom got down in the piano or sat down in the piano in our in our home, and uh I videoed them singing in a song. Psalms. Well, there's one song that uh my dad said, now when you sing this one, you have to jump. And I said, What? And then I remember as a kid that in uh in Psalm 68 it said, Excell him that rides upon the heavens by his name, and uh and they go through that and then it said, by his name, and then it's it's uh J-A-H uh Ja, and then which would be Yah, really, uh, that the Hebrews would say. And he said, uh, I guess he figured out and then when they would they would jump just late. And so I've got a video of my dad and uh my brother and sisters are asking, come on, go to jumping, praise God, and so they're just the jumping, hallelujah, amen. Well, I'm glad we got something to rejoice about tonight. I'm glad we got something to praise God about tonight.

Uh I want to say some of you may know that Brother David Well uh had a uh grand child born unexpectedly this afternoon. And uh he let me know when he came into service this morning that there was a high uh uh I guess it's a chance. I'm trying to find a better word. Uh not that it had a chance, I just I don't I guess I don't like that word, but a opportunity or what? Possibility, thank you. It was a high possibility that he was fixing to shoot out of here. Well, as soon as church was over, they had it out. They didn't make it very far down the road, and their uh grandbaby was born, and it was a little bit unexpected as far as I'm sure they was expecting the baby, but it wasn't supposed to come today. But uh everything is great. But so Brother Douglas is going to give us a double ready. This is like Sunday morning and Sunday night right here. And uh as pastors, uh you know how it is, preach Sunday morning and Sunday night. Amen. But I appreciate him uh preaching for us tonight, and also uh be preaching for us tomorrow night. I also want to thank him and Sister Cecily for changing their flight for Saturday so he can preach uh to us uh tomorrow night as well. And uh so looking for the Lord to bless the service of their ministry, and I appreciate being in the service this morning, and also Brother Kurt preaching to us this morning, and Brother Kurt's gonna stay around and preach to us in the morning. Amen. So looking forward to that as well. Praise God. Amen. But uh God, uh there's no surprises with the Lord. Amen. God knows all things. Hallelujah. Amen. You know, in Ruth, uh, and we're gonna sing and I got you standing, but in Ruth, there's a word uh it's the only time the translators used it, and it's called hat. H-A-P. And it said that when Ruth went on Boaz's field, her hat was to go on uh Boaz's field. Now the original word is used more in scripture, but it's not, they never translated to that old English word hat, which was what we would say happened, you know, happened, and there's it is happening chance. But there's no happen chance with God. If you know the story of Ruth, it wasn't just a happen chance for her to stumble on. Amen. Uh Boaz is field. It was God's divine order all the way down to Moab. Amen. All the way down to Christ birth. Hallelujah. Amen. So it's not a happen chance tonight. It's not a happening. Amen. But God knew we just didn't know it, and I'm thankful. Amen. That God, amen, is able to meet with us tonight. Amen. All right, brother God's leaders and singing. Everybody grab a song book and sing for the glory of God. Praise God.

So there's nothing that I got to. And I believe those words are true. There's been so much easier on me through. There's another truth I work. Which makes a limitation's place. Even on his amazing grace. There's some things he's bound himself to ever do. He cannot break anything. He cannot be deceived at all. He cannot leave you in your doubt. He always tears you when you go. He cannot feel even like.

God is a God that doesn't ever change. And we can read stories in the Old Testament about God doing. And we can hear the stories from our grandparents about God knew. And we can hear stories from our parents of how God knew. Amen. But I'm looking for some stories about how God knew. Amen. I've got some things right now as we speak that I'd like to see God move in. I've got some things now that I've got some questions that I'd like to have answered. I've got some miracles that I'd like to see done. Amen. I've got some prayers that I would like to see answered. Amen. And uh, you know, there was a there was a lady in the in the in the New Testament that uh all she was trying to do was reach out and just get just get close enough where she could touch the hem and his garment. I've been studying on that a little bit. Amen. There's a few people from Millville here, so I'm not going to give you the whole thing tonight. Praise the Lord, because you might hear some of this a little bit later on. Amen. But uh, but but all she was trying to do was get close enough to where she can touch the hem of his garment. Because she knew that if I could just get in proximity to Jesus, amen. Well, Jesus said, where two or three are gathered together in my name, I'll be there. So it's not about what we can do to him, but I believe that God has come down right before into the house of God tonight. I believe that he's here. And you don't really know, you don't know how long you can bring up, you don't know how long it's gonna be before you. I believe God has nothing.

I said, listen, we're gonna take up a special offer for somebody that needs some help right now. We're gonna continue praying until they pass the plate. And we kept on praying for people. She said, Daddy, she said, I walked over and I got all the money that I had in my wallet. She said, I put it in the plate. She said, When I put it in the plate and I was walking over to the side, she said, I feel the king go down the hall.

And you know what? I believe you can get in this and stay in this. One of the greatest struggles we need saved from is the struggle of staying saved. Seems like there's a lot of people that just in and out, in and out. And I appreciate those who just get in and they stay in. And I appreciate consistency, don't you? You know, it's kind of disappointing to see some folks, you know, two or three years down again, see them in two or three years, and they're changed. They're different. But it's always encouraging to see someone who's just been steady and just stay the course. And uh I appreciate that, don't you? How many please how many can testify to the young folks that you can just stay the same? I'm not talking about if you're worldly or if you're a compromiser to stay that same. I'm talking about just stay the same when it comes to biblical holiness, when it comes to being a worshiper, that's God. And then I always scratch my head at those who are shouting one revival and they're they're pouting the next. You're like, what in the world's happened there? I understand life does this. We have our ups and our downs. And it's okay. I it's okay to do this, right? But it's not okay to do this. All right, praise God. Let's have church tonight in honor of Brother Snow and thank you for allowing us to stay over and just uh be a blessing and to try to help you tonight, and that's what we want to do. And uh I'll just be honest tonight. I just uh I'm gonna treat this uh like like just a revival service. Is that all right? Because that's what I we just want to move on. You know, some folks say well, I can't leave the message. Well, I I don't have any of those. I just want to I just want to obey the Lord and uh just have a great altar service. I believe a good service is one that's crowned with a great altar service. Praise God. So let's get in here and let's push for that tonight. Psalms chapter number 85. Psalms chapter number 85. Give honor to all the ministry that's here tonight, and uh, we appreciate you being here. Amen. Psalms chapter 85, and if you have that, would you stand for the reverence of God's word tonight? Psalms 85, and I just want to borrow the phrase here and uh talk about this tonight and get us to an altar. If you have Psalms 85, would you say amen? Slide down to verse number six, and let's read that first phrase. Wilt thou not revive us again? Will that he'll do it, won't we? Amen. I just want to talk to you about uh what what revival really is. What revival really is. Let's pray. Father, thank you so much, Lord, for this service, this great congregation.

You know, too many times we have, when it comes to this word revival, really, I just, that's one word I just have on my heart, revival. And when it comes to that word revival, we have we have a big misconception about what revival really is. We think revival is when you have a consecutive number of services. Maybe a guest preacher comes to town, or or maybe, maybe it's three nights of convention where there's a lot of running and shouting and singing, you know, louder than we normally sing, or something like that. But how many knows revival is none of those things? Y'all know that? Revival is not a date on a calendar. Revival is not a series of services. Revival is more than just songs that are sung. Revival is more than just shouting and running and hooping. And I like all of that, okay? Listen, I I'll shout, I try to make it a purpose in my heart to shout every service I can at my home church. Praise God. I believe in shouting and running. But really, those are just results of revival. Praise God. I read a few quotes about what revival is, and I want to share them with you, and I'll let you make your own determination as to which one you think revival is. One man said revival is when God interrupts the ordinary with the extraordinary. I think that's a good uh definition, don't you? One man said revival is when heaven collides with earth. Praise God. I think that's a good definition of revival. One man said that revival is doing, is God doing only what God can do. Praise God. I think all of those are great definitions of revival. I looked up the definition of revival, and it simply says an improvement in the condition or the strength of something. Praise God. How many know it's revival? It's not an event. Revival is an experience, praise God. Revival is not what happens around you. But I believe revival is what happens inside of you. Here's what revival is: revival is dry bones rattling in Ezekiel's valley until an army stands up where a graveyard used to be. Revival is weary hearts being revived, like those two disciples on the road to Emmaus, who said, Can not our hearts burn within us? Revival is a church that's catching on fire, like they did in Acts chapter 2 when the Holy Ghost fell in that upper room. Revival is people crying out like blind Bartimaeus did, who refused to be silent until Jesus stopped and opened his blinded eyes. Revival is prison doors flying open at midnight when praise shook the jailhouse and the chains felt. Come on, how many spanking? You know what revival is? Revival is the prodigal son getting up out of the pig pit and running back home. Revival is a woman at the well leaving her water pot and saying, Come see a man. They told me everything I ever. Revival is fire, falling on Mount Carmel with Elijah. Revival's men of a repentance. I'm telling in time. What are you saying? I'm saying revival is when God steps in to a death situation and he proves there's nothing too hard for God to do. Amen. That's what revival is. Revival is doing only what God can do. Can I tell you what revival is? Revival is when joy comes back into our hearts. Revival is hope coming back into our spirit. Revival is life coming back into our dead situation. And can I tell you as a pastor of a church and as the preacher of this service, I can't think of anything else we need anymore than an old-fashioned heaven shield and Holy Ghost revived. We need God to breathe on us. We need discouraged saints who've lost their fire to get stirred one more time. We need saints who are spiritually asleep to wake up in these last days. We need people who've been stuck for years to get unstuck. We need hope to rise again. We need dead dreams to come to life again. We need dead homes and dead marriages and dead relationships to come back to God. Life again. I just come to tell you tonight. We need revival. I say we need revival. We don't need it tomorrow. We don't need it next week. We don't need it next month. We need revival on the first tonight in here. We don't revive there's no power. We don't revive when there's no future. Without revival on worship, we'll become hollow. Without revival, our preacher will become powerless. Without repouring marriages, we fall apart. Without revival on children, we walk away from holiness. Any child care we need and improvement. In the case, every hollow, every person, every child.

You know why we need revival? It's right there in the text. Wilt thou not revive us again? That thy people may rejoice in thee. Can I tell you? Without revival, we have nothing to rejoice about. Come on, I'm not coming on. I've already told you. I'm not talking about a series of services. I'm talking about an improvement in the conditions of our lives. Without revival, there's no gladness in the house of God. Without no revival, there's no shout in the sanctuary. Without revival, the songs we sing are empty, and the sermons we preach are dry. He said, Lord, wilt thou not revive us again? Hallelujah, that thy people may rejoice. That word rejoice means delete. That was dropped. You know what he said, Lord? If we don't have revival, there's not any joy in the house. If we don't have revival, there's not any victory in the house. I've got the preacher somebody. You're lifeless. And it feels like you're hanging by a friend. I've got to cheer for you tonight. You need revival. Hallelujah. There's some folks in this house. You're showing up to church, but you're not really at church. You're here, but you're not really here. You're singing, but you're really not singing. It's hollow. It's empty. Hallelujah. You're a worshipist all quiet. Listen to me. I feel very impressed by the Holy Ghost that some of you are barely hanging by threat. There's no joy in serving God. There's no joy in coming to church. You clap out routine. You sing out of duty. There's no melody in your heart. You're going through the motions. You're breathing. But you're really not alive. I've come to tell you tonight if that's where you're at. You don't need another vacation. You don't need a sabbatical.

God is in this house to improve the condition of some cold heart in this house tonight. I know it's a small word, and I'm not going to preach long. But I just want to break it down to you tonight. Revive all. Can I preach it to you? Give me about 15 minutes. Hallelujah. Word re means again. He said, Wilt thou not revive us? Come on, the demon stop there. He said, Wilt thou not revive us again? Can I take a revival? It's not God doing something new. Revival's God doing something that he's already done. Come on, somebody. So you need to remember the last time you prayed at an altar until hot sulfy tears come down your face. So you need to remember. The last time you prayed at an altar until the Holy Ghost split your soul and you begin to talk in another language. Can I tell you?

What you need is for the same God to do what's all good. Hallelujah. You know what the Bible is? I said today the Bible is God pressing the repeat button. You say, Well, I prayed through six months ago. Can I tell you if God wants to do it again? You said, Well, I saw it a long time ago.

Re again, vibe, which means to live, to break. Come on, this is elementary. I don't know this is simple, but if some of you had grabbed a hold of this, it would change your home. It would change your kids. They need you to be retired. Come on, so I will come up when the Tsar was praying his prayer. He wasn't on the mountaintop, that wasn't living in ease, that was right in the midst of trouble, that was hemmed in, that was pressed in, that was surrounded, that was under pressure, and right in the middle of their distress. He said, Oh God, will you reply me again? Will you breathe into me again? Amen. There's somebody in this house. Amen. You feel healed me. You feel pressed down. Amen. Amen.

You don't need a divorce. You don't need a separation? Come on. You don't need a courthouse. Come on. What you mean? The throne room of grace. That's what you need. God could revise some relationships. Come on, man. I'm gonna be very careful, but I I understand that I'm live somewhere. Somebody text me and said they heard me preach, so I know I'm live somewhere, so I'll be I'll be careful. Hallelujah. But it wasn't but about two months ago when me and my wife was driving down the road. We were dealing with a certain situation that looked hopeless. Matter of fact, we had pretty much, I hate to admit this, I really knew. It was driving down the road, Brother Noel. I looked at her after a certain something had happened and I said, that will never change. Hallelujah. That's what I told her. And can I tell you the longer I drove? We were coming back from Minister's Conference, and my dad made a statement while he was preaching. He said, he said, offense is an event. Being offended is a choice. And I looked at her, little Johnny, and I said, that will never change until we kept driving. And I said, you know what? We got a choice to make. Either we're gonna live like this for the rest of our lives, or we're gonna do something about this. But can I just tell you this? Hallelujah, within 24 hours. Hallelujah, God had turned that situation around. It was a relationship that we thought would never get worked out.

Come on, I'm gonna tell you, when we talk about Jesus being a miracle man, that's just not talking about physical humans. And I thank God that he is a miracle of physical illness. But you hear me and hear me well. He is also a healer of relationships. Yeah, come on. Come on, wait a call. We want all that revival stuff. Can I tell you what revival is? Sermon, I was preaching about the colour of the Lord with a quarter where you preach from. And I got over there in Matthew 24, where God are talking about, and many shall be offended before somebody. And can I tell you in a home in this church, in the middle of my preaching, hallelujah? A young daughter got up from her seat over there, walked to her parents over there, and hugged her and said, Will you forgive me?

God wants to do it tonight. This is really simple. Agree to do it again. To bring to life. Notice what he said. We don't fell not revive us. I am so done with division. I am so done with schisms. I am so done with all this segregation. You know who God wants to revive? Come on, Sam. Everybody. You don't want to just revive your family. Maybe you pass your church, right?
