It runs June 27 to July 3, 2026 in Northumberland!

SPEAKER_00

Hey, it's Matt from Gunt Rocks PA, and I'm here with Amanda Coleman here to talk about Pine Nutter Days that is coming up real real soon, right?

SPEAKER_01

It is, yes. It's June 27th through July 3rd in King Street Park in Northumberland.

SPEAKER_00

So uh it's this Saturday. Yeah. Is that the 27th already? It is. Okay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we kick off with a soapbox race on Saturday, and then Sunday is the pine mutter for kids ages five and up, and then the community church service, and then Monday through Friday kicks off all of the other fun.

SPEAKER_00

And uh I I hear there's lots of food there. So we were talking with we had our uh intern Eden in here the other day, and she brought up somebody that was gonna be there. Um something about dips?

SPEAKER_01

Dips sips and more, I think. Yes, I think that was the one.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so uh we definitely want to go out and check that out, but there's more than just that.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, there's way more. My favorite is Mr. Stickies and the milkshake. I get one every night. I get both of them every night. Then I wonder why my stomach hurts, but so much good food. They got fish sandwiches from the number ones and Nori. We got Shake Your Buns and Do the Twist, just all kinds of food, and of course, ice cream. Gotta love ice cream.

SPEAKER_00

Gotta love ice, especially this time of year.

SPEAKER_01

Yes.

SPEAKER_00

So uh what else you got going on there?

SPEAKER_01

Um, so on Monday we're gonna give the Pie Notter of the Year award, and then we also have nightly entertainment thanks to our generous sponsors. So we have Nick Ferraro and the All-Stars, the Moore Brothers, Train Wreck Survivors, Memory Lane, and Lucky Afternoon Band. And then Thursday is our car show, which is really popular. Um, we line the streets with all kinds of really cool cars. It's really fun to just walk around and look at them. And then Friday is our craft show, which we fill the park and surrounding streets with all kinds of fun vendors.

SPEAKER_00

So this is a full week of fun, entertainment. You got the car show. What is that an all-day thing or when does that kick off?

SPEAKER_01

So that's Thursday night from 6 to 9 p.m.

SPEAKER_00

Okay. And this isn't all fun and games, though. We were talking a little bit about this before that you guys uh actually are doing this for a cause.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, so Pinotter Days gives back to the community. We're really about supporting our neighbors and friends. So we um donate to the library, we give scholarships to students, and we also replace the flags on the bridges. Um, of course, we donate to our fire police and the fire companies in the area.

SPEAKER_00

So by coming out and having fun at Pie Notter Days, you're also giving back to the community. Correct.

SPEAKER_01

So come on out, have a good time, sit down, watch some entertainment, grab some food, and and have fun.

SPEAKER_00

Amanda, thanks for coming by today. Nice to meet you. Yes, thank you. And I'll see you at Pie Notter Days next week.
