The SOURCE: What is GOD?
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
What if the Divine you’re chasing is the you that’s doing the chasing? We open a candid, soulful journey from the “Throne God” image many of us inherited to a living experience of The SOURCE as the quiet, steady I AM within. No debates, no dogma - just a clear path through stories, practice, and a poetic lens that makes the ineffable feel near.
We trace the search across religions, scriptures, ancient writings, and everyday faces, showing how the same current flows beneath different names: God, Allah, Olodumare, Yahweh, Gaia. Rather than argue labels, we explore the ESSENCE - how the formless plays as form, how Yin and Yang complete a circuit, and why reducing the Divine to a single - distant figure leaves us spiritually lopsided. You’ll hear a moving prose meditation on I Am that reframes separation, then we bring it down to earth with practical tools that make awareness tangible.
If this resonates, follow the show, share it with someone who’s searching, and leave a review with your biggest insight. Thank you, my BeLoveds!!!
Think deeply, SEE clearly, and Journey Well!
Setting The Quest For Source
SPEAKER_00Welcome, welcome, my beloved, to the Sears site. I am your host, Oman Inaji. And just getting right into it, in the last episode, um, I introduced you to the spirit world and said that in the upcoming episodes we would discuss the inhabitants of the spirit world. And so in this episode, we are going to start at the top with the source of all that is. And I want to make this invitation to every human. This has nothing to do with whether you're a seer or not. This is one of the age-old questions that most humans have faced. What is the source? Where is the source? And particularly those who are, you know, impasse mystics and ministers and religious folks and pagans and all this kind of stuff. And the reason I say that is because I've traveled all these paths and they each led to the same answer. And so this invitation isn't necessarily a revelation or revealing, but a remembrance and a reflecting of the source. Now, whether you call it God, Allah, Olodumare, Yahweh, Gaia, it doesn't matter. The great spirit, the great mystery. It doesn't matter what you call it. I mean, we could have a whole episode just on the labels that we call the source of all things. And so today that's why I'm just going to call it source and not something else. And I'm not talking about a particular being of any one name, but the essence that carries them all. You feel me? So we're not just talking and limiting it to one type of thing. I'm talking about what is behind it all, the source. Now, if you saw my other episodes, you understand where my journey began. Uh searching for God. And by the end of this, you'll understand why I don't use the word God. And it's a very easy reason. And then again, I'm not here to prove to you anything. Simply hear me out. Particularly as one who has walked many of the paths of those who are listening. So I started asking questions at 16 years old when I was basically told God was killing men, women, babies, children, all this other stuff, and that anyone who didn't know about God before Jesus was automatically hellbound. And so this is what started my search. And I thought either God is a dick or our picture, our mindset of God was incorrect. And it couldn't be both in my mindset as a 16-year-old. And so I went searching. And I have searched far and wide through many paths, through many religions. Um, and just as a caveat, being born and raised into the Pentecostal uh religion, I had this mindset of what I call the throne God mentality. That God was some type of figure or effigy that was sitting on the throne, or left seat because his son was sitting beside him, and that they had some dove above them that depicted the Holy Spirit. And so I was born and raised with this image of God, and so I went out asking, who is God? Which was kind of annoying to me. A question that led me around the long way to finding an answer. I should have been asking myself, what is God? And don't get me wrong, I found who is God after I found what is God. And so again, I searched long and hard, far and ride, um, the things I study in this life, plus the things I researched and remembered from many of my other past lives. And as some of you may know, I have a lot of memories of many of my and your past lives. And so I went searching, I mean god, I went searching. It's been years upon years, and everywhere I searched, everywhere you have searched, it was there, obscured in plain sight. And I can't say it obscured itself, we obscured it in plain sight. I ended up finding it in the very scriptures I ran from, in ancient writings, in different practices and different cultures, different tribes and different religions. I found it in nature. But where I found it the most and where it was the most beautiful was in your faces, in the many faces of those I've come across in this life thus far. And so with that, I went to share my discovery, what I personally discovered over this journey. And once I found it, and once I decided, and I can't even say I decided to share this, uh, but I need to figure the best way to present it so that it was understandable with every person, with every listener, with every human that listens to this. And so I had to consult my spirit guides in the spirit world again. For some reason, I'm in constant contact with the other side, and I consulted them. How do I deliver what I found to the listener uh without it sounding religious or far-fetched or based in stupidity or ignorance or fear, because the God I was raised with is a God of fear. You know, that's what causes many people to run because they don't understand what God is in particular religions. And so I would like to share what I found, what was revealed behind the nameless. And so I wrote this uh poetic prose. It's not really a poem. I'm a poet, but this isn't really a poem, just a prose. Uh, and I hope you don't mind that I read it just straight off. But this is what I found: God, the great spirit, Allah, um, the source, the sacred to be. And again, I am not here to change your beliefs, I am not here to prove anything to you. I just simply want to share my journey that I feel involves you. And so, after consulting the spirit world, this is what I came up with. And just lo and behold, the words I am going to use were in the very context that I was raised in, but ran from, but returned to, but not in a religious soul. And so for the best way and the best two words to describe the source is I am. And so here's what I found. I am Yin Yang, Alpha, Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. I am the past, the present, and the future twirling in endless spirals. I am time intertwining with space. I am the infinite passing through the finite. I am the eternal animating through the temporal. I am the universal manifesting as the individual. I am the one prancing as the many. I am formless, expressing through limitless forms. I am the stillness emerging as movement. I am nameless, bearing countless names, bearing your name. I am nothing, something, and the everything, emanating as light and dark, sun, moon, star, and organism. I am the above, the below. I am earth, air, fire, and water. I am a mystery camouflaged within revelation. I am evolution blooming through endless creations, the immaterial weaving within the material. I am the internal choreographing the external. I am spirit, I am nature, I am mind, I am body, I am the inhale and the exhale. I am the cause and the effect. And though I may be colorless, I am yet radiant in every hue. I may be odorless, yet I am fragrant in a myriad of aromas. Though I may seem empty, I am full of wonders. And though I am silence, I sing infinite melodies. I am life and death. I am ageless, ever birthing and decaying, building and destroying. I am immortal, residing as earthen vessels. I am giver, receiver, masculine, feminine, father, mother. I am the ancestor, the grandparent, the parent, the child, and the ancestor again, encompassing the endless circles of life. I am the two-legged, the four-legged, the winged, the finned, the creeping and the crawling thing. I am flawlessness guised as imperfection. I am the wisdom amongst simplicity. I am everything existing in everything, originating as everything. I am the pause behind, with and as your heartbeat. I am the quiet knowing behind your eyes. I am the whispers within your soul. I am love, but I am also the lover and that which embraces love, as love is the clearest lens in which to observe me. I am but the seeker within you seeking me. What you see, what is seen, and that which sees. That is what I am. Great is my mystery? No. I am but an eternal pool of reflections, and you, my beauties, are simply my reflection. For I am you, and you am I, and I am the I within the I. The I and I, the I within you. So come, come, dance with me, dance within me, dance as me. For I am that which dances as thee. And to find me, simply see your self. Know ye not that ye are gods? And so again, I rediscovered this truth on every path I traveled, in every religion I practiced, in every scripture and ancient text I'd read, in every practice that I experimented with. But more importantly, I saw it in all of you. I see it in all of you. And once you see it, you can't unsee it. This is part of why it has become easy for me to love unconditionally, and and it and it comes back to this ancient philosophy of knowing thyself. And I'm gonna here's here's a quick review or a summary on how well you know yourself. If in that poetic prose you took that in the first person concept, then blessings to you. You are closer to seeing source than most ever attempt to. However, if you read it in the third person as a separate entity, and I'm not judging you, I was there, I get it, I understand it, but this is that that throne God mentality I was speaking of. And yet the very God of the people who think in this manner said, I am. So simply speak it as though it's you. You are the light, you are the dark, you are left, you are right, your sinner. You are the very reflection of your God in a bigger way than you ever may have realized. Now, to those who have this throne God mentality, and I completely understand that as my search began from Genesis, the the scripture that said, Let us, let us make man in our image, I had to start there. And as someone who used to preach the oneness Pentecostal doctrine, I had to force that language into a singularity. But for those who want to research deeper, I'm just gonna point the direction. This may be a subject we cover later in another podcast. It is a huge subject. I'm just gonna point you in a direction for you to study to show thy own self-approved. Research the book of Enoch, the book that they refuse to put in your Bible, and yet is referenced in your Bible in numerous times. The children of Anak in what numbers numbers 13, the children of Enoch. Um all these things will show you things like the watchers, the Anunnaki, the identity of the angels, or the Elohim, Elohim, the Elves, Mikai El, Gabriel, Raphael, the Els, the Elohim. And I used to preach Elohim was a singular. That's not the case. And to those I taught that to, I'm sorry I spoke that in ignorance. But look into those things. You know, it also said male and female. You know, let us make man in our image, male and female. And this is why I no longer use the word God, because it's only half the equation. Yin, yang, God, God is left right. This is why, and I hate, I hate to be the bearer of bad news. This is why Christianity is incomplete, a patriarchal stupidity. And so, but remember this: you are source. Jesus, Siddhartha, all the sages saying, look within yourself, you are the source. You are source. Beloved, my brothers, my sisters, my grandparents, my uncles and aunts, my children, my babies, nieces, nephews, all my family, all my relations. You are all my relations. The source is not separate from you. It never was. It's not high above or far beyond, it's not separate. It is you. The infinite. You are merely the infinite identifying itself as you. You are a masterpiece, simply a masterpiece of cosmic celestial art. It's that simple. In fact, when it comes to spirituality, you're not just a human, your spirit having a human experience. That's what this whole matrix is. Yes, that's what this whole matrix is. Simply your soul having a human experience. And when you're done, when we're done, we return to once we came. That's why there is nothing to fear on the other side in the spirit world. In love, love, love, we have to talk about love. A term that we and many humans have bastardized. Love is the clearest path to see your essence, your godliness, for lack of a better word. And not just any love, self-love. Love thyself. Self-love. And look, being one that has traveled that path, I know that self-love is extremely difficult in atmospheres of judgment, whether self-judgment or judging others, because when you judge others, you are judging yourself. Get out of those places of judgment. That's why the sages tell you, judge not, judge not, because that is your chain. And so step out of those atmospheres where there is judgment. I'm not saying don't self-reflect. I'm not saying don't look within yourself. But in an environment of destructive judgment, it is hard to clear the shine on that piece of the mirror that you are. Remember that analogy? It's like God was a the source was a mirror that shattered, and we are each pieces of that mirror, each a reflection of that essence. That's all. It's that simple. And so to see or experience that source, to experience that essence, to experience God, it's so, so easy, so easy. And it takes but one thing. Something that all the sages have done. Meditate. Does it meditate? I'm not talking about becoming some friggin' monk. In fact, I would teach you a very, very easy meditation. And it may shock you. And it's just a start. And I'm not even telling you to clear your mind or anything like that. And I'll tell you why I suggest meditation. When I was growing up, um, I started taking martial arts, you know, Gung Fu, Judo, Taekwondo, things like that at a very young age. And in order to do that, I asked my dad, hey, can I take these martial arts? And he said, Yes, on one condition, you cannot meditate. And at the time I didn't even know what it was, but I asked why. And he said, Because when you meditate, you empty your mind. And when you empty your mind, you allow Satan to come through. So I was raised with a healthy fear of meditation. And then my spirit guide starts showing me things. You think Jesus was out in the wilderness talking to the air? No, he was meditating. You think John the Baptist was out there just screaming in the wilderness? No. They meditated because it is the only way to see oneself. And so let me just suggest this. Sit in a comfortable position and simply take four breaths. Four. That's it. And the way someone taught me in the beginning was seven second inhale, seven second exhale, or inhale, God, Goddess. Inhale. Yang Yin. That's all it is. That's all it is. And you can't have one without the other. There is no God without a goddess. So honor the divine masculine and feminine, the yin and the yang that is within everyone. Because yin and yang is the essence of all that is. Simple. And you, my beloveds, just see yourselves as the reflection of all of that. You are the source. And I didn't mean to go into this mystical stuff, but in breathing, what I have found is that the breath, your breathing is the communication of the soul. That's it. It is the communication and the response that the soul has to life. For instance, when you get angry, what changes first? Your breathing. When you see that love interest, start to breathe different. When you're stressed, you breathe different. I've noticed patterns throughout life. So if you're an empath, start reading people's breaths the way they breathe. And that's why controlling your breath controls your emotions so that you can use it to alchemize energies. Another podcast. But just breathe. Inhale, male, exhale, female. You are yin. You are yang. You are source. You are a friggin, cosmic, divine, celestial masterpiece. Dancing in flesh. Nothing more, nothing less. And so in our next episode, we cover the essence, the source here. Our next episode will start with the spirit beings. Your spirit guide, your guardian spirit, the multidimensional beings, your spirit animals, and how they want you to interact with them. Because for many, they're just sitting around the water cooler waiting for you to say, okay, I need help. That's it. But in closing, remember this: you are the source. You are a but. You are but the I am dancing as art. Know ye not. Know ye not that ye are gods. And until next time think deeply, see clearly. And journey well. I love you. I truly love you.
