So welcome to uh tonight's live recording of Ready to Connect. I'm Ryan. I'm Heather, and I'm Lisa. And uh tonight uh we ask one of humanity's oldest questions. Were fairies ever real? Not the glitter-winged cartoon kind living rent-free in a teacup. Uh we mean the ancient beings whispered about in forests, rivers, gardens, mountains, and firelight. Across cultures, people believed nature was alive. Trees had spirits, rivers had moods, and mountains remembered. But before we get into that, I'm interested in knowing about what you both have been up to. So who wants to go first? Any stories to share?

So happy May the 4th be with you people. It is a Star Wars holiday. I live all year for this day. Back in 1977 when some of you probably weren't born. I was wondering. This 13-year-old went to the movie theater and saw Star Wars for the first time and watched and went back 13 more times to see it by myself. Um and my whole family, my husband can attest, my whole family are big Star Wars fans. We send the May the 4th greetings to each other. Um, I mean, I have a bona fide lightsaber that I've been yes inducted to the Jedi forum. I know I sound very nerdy, but that's who I am. So I wore my Tatooine t-shirt, I've got my Grogu sweatshirt, I brought my Grogu and my R2 D2 stuffies, and I couldn't find my hat, which really made me upset. But it's a Star Wars holiday, and I'm happy to be sharing it here on the podcast. Are you guys Star Wars fans? Please say you've seen Star Wars. You know. Oh my god.

I have to see the movie. Yes, just for a little bit. You know, I'll share a story about my uh son-in-law now. But when he was dating my daughter and he was introduced to the family, he came to a barbecue, and we were sitting around the picnic table, and we started talking, and we asked him, Have you ever seen Star Wars? And he went, I've never seen Star Wars. And the whole family went, Oh the audible gasp you could hear, and he was just like, Oh my gosh. So he went back and he's now a Star Wars Star Wars convert. He was the first to wish me happy May the 4th. So there you go. Um I've already watched the original Star Wars movie. Two episodes of various different things. Uh it's my thing. So um, but what I've been up to this past weekend, I did go to Arizona. I went to Tucson to see a dear friend that I haven't seen for four years. She was running a Kentucky Derby party out in Tucson. Oh, wow. And so my husband and I went just to see them and go to this party. It happens to be the anniversary, I think, of their first date, which is kind of fun. Um and we did, we bet on horses, and I won $11. Nice!

Okay, so my neighbor Lisa, who's out in the audience, um, we had an experience last week. It was the crows come to Lisa and I every week. They come every day. They let us know they're coming, they let us know when they're in the yard, they let us know when they're hungry, which seems to be all the time. Um, but uh they were going, they were making this shrill. I I don't even know how else to say it. It was like this drill, and they were hopping across the treetops and they were sending out this signal, and then no sooner than I realized that the crows were making these horrific noises, I get a text from my neighbor and she says, Go look outside, there's a bobcat in the woods. And I was like, So I'm trying to peek out the door. I'm like, what am I doing? And by then the thing was long gone, right? So, like, how cool is that? Is that nature sends out these warning systems of there's something really dangerous in the area, and they were really loud, like all the windows were closed because you know the heat's still kicking on and it's May. Um, welcome to New England, right? Cold in the morning and air conditioning at night. Um, and uh, so that was really interesting. I've never seen the crows do that before. Um, because last summer, Kyle and I had an experience where uh we were sitting and watching TV and the you know the screen door was open and we heard this, this growl. And I looked at him and I was like, not today, buddy. And he was like, What? And he was like, I heard it too, and I was like, okay, which it was a bobcat walking across the front porch, and uh so yeah, thankfully, I know the screen door will never save us from a bobcat, but it is uh it's hungry, and I'm I don't know if it's a male or female. Do you know if it's a male or a female?

I mean, for it to be out during the day, it must be a female, probably getting food for its cubs. Um, so it's really cool that it and he's a big dude. He's he's bigger than a lab. He's he's pretty long and he's pretty chunky. If it's a girl or a guy, whatever it is, it's a big, it's a big one. Um, so yeah, we're don't let your cats out in the neighborhood of Avery Shores. True. Don't know. Yeah. So how about you? How's Mr. Watson?

Yeah, well, I didn't do too much this week other than I was cleaning. Uh yeah, but uh so the the dog that lives with me, his name is Watson, he's my roommate's dog. Um he he just loves to follow me around whatever I'm doing, and so I was cleaning, and he decided to clean after me. So I'm cleaning, then he starts licking wherever I'm cleaning, and I'm like, buddy, this is just too much. So finally I I told my roommate, I'm like, you know, we have to find a way to keep him occupied. So she got like those mats that you can like put peanut butter on or something, and now it's his favorite toy because he thinks he's cleaning, and it just it makes everyone happy. So at least we learned that. Um he's being helpful. He is very helpful, yes. Not really, but service dog, yeah, yeah. Giving you a health cleaning service.

There we go. Well, why don't we jump right into our topic today, which is we're gonna talk a little bit about uh fairies and elemental energy. We just thought it would be a fun light topic to kind of do as a live broadcast. But before we really kind of delve into the different types of fairies and elementals that are out there, it's a little um little bit of knowledge base. A lot of stories about elemental beings and fairies come from whether it's folklore, which are stories that are passed through communities that are created to explain different mysteries or the unseen, maybe even dangers that are happening. Then there's also stories that come from mythology, where these beings are sacred symbols, so to speak, um, that involve, you know, God's spirit's creation. Um and then, of course, there's a supernatural explanation to fairies, um the belief or experiences that involve anything that's beyond our ordinary science can explain. Um, so we're gonna kind of look at fairies from all aspects today and hopefully get some of your input. And one of the first questions we're gonna ask is how many of you believe something unseen exists out there? Let the record show pretty much every hand went up and on it. Yeah. Yeah, I think it's you know, a lot of science-based people, and we know that I function as much on the science part of my brain as I do the other part, we really like that evidence-based, right, and research to understand what's happening in our world. But even scientists will have to give it up to some things you just don't have an explanation for yet, right? And I think that's where um and the yet is what scares me, right?

And it scares all of us because if they were to actually capture a fairy, what would they do to that poor thing? Or a Bigfoot or an alien or any of that, right? What what would our government do to that? And then it'd be a science project. So maybe some things are left to be mystical, maybe. I don't know. That's kind of how I feel. Like I would love to explore it, but I don't want it to actually be proven because I don't want it to be a poor science science experiment.

I think there's ways so that you could find evidence of that without it being a science experiment. I mean collecting evidence, footage, whatever. Of course, in today's society with AI, everything is now questioned whether it's real or AI, right? It would be hard for someone who actually captured a real bona fide picture like I did in Ireland of whatever that was, and someone say, well, now that's an AI picture. Well, no, it wasn't. I took it. And I know I first of all, I don't know how to do AI. If I did, I'd be uh have a lot more money in my pocket. But um, yeah, so I don't know. It I get it's hard, right? It's hard then to really get the evidence.

Definitely, you know? So how many out there in the audience have ever felt watched in the woods when you're walking and hiking, sense something strange, right? Peeking at you, it's out of place. Yeah. Yeah, definitely someone watching, and then you're not sure if it's fairies or the Native Americans, right? Or different spirits depending on where you are.

But I love when you do go out into the woods or you take a walk, right? There's always some kind of sign you can find. How many of you have found a feather or found something that resembles, you know, a fairy stone or a hagstone, or um just the different different symbolisms that are out there, right? The perfect branch, the perfect knot in the tree. Um, the bird lands on the branch right in front of you and looks right at you and claws at you, or right? Absolutely. Or the water splashing at you, and you you have no, you know, there's no reason for the water to splash at you. There's all kinds of ways that we can have a perfect moment. And you know, I chalk that up to soup, you know, the supernatural, the fun supernatural. We're not doing any doom and gloom, like killing the fairies in the teacups kind of stuff. But how many of you know that Tinkerbell was completely rewritten from folklore from Disney? Yes. Yes. Definitely. She was made to be cute and sweet and spicy, right? And history says that fairies are not cute and sweet and spicy, but they are spicy.

Yeah, I think a lot of well, first of all, you get you get folklore from fairies from all over the places. I mean, England, Ireland, and Scotland, I I think are probably the top three, but you get them from everywhere. You can get them from um well Germany has their own little like elf elfin fairies and things like that. Um so if you have Germany, then you have Norway too. Right. Um all those things. And I think those fork the folklore came about, and correct me if I'm wrong, to explain certain things that were happening, right?

Sure. They were well, they were having um spiritual moments.

Yeah, things go missing. Oh, it must be the fairies, too. Bad luck must be the fairies. Yeah, good luck the fairies are granting you strange lights out in the woods, those are the fairies playing, right? Um crops are doing well, fairies are great.

They're happy and fed, yes. But it there's folklore all around the world. The Hindus speak of fairies, the Buddhists, that all different cultures speak of the phase and um how they will interact with you, and I suppose some will interact with you in a positive way if you're asking for it, and I is good. I think it's also emotional and environmental too. If you're poisoning the soil, the fairies are probably gonna give you, you know, they're gonna give you a hard time because you're not doing what's right by it. You're not doing what's right by the land, which they live off of, right? But um they want their respect just as much as we do. Except they're little brats.

Well, I guess we can be bratty too, so I have a a fairy star that sits where my healing grids are for Reiki. And I have crystals on there and I put things on there, and I always ask the fairies, the house fairies that we might have to be kind and not hide my stuff all the time. Because I can't tell you how many times things are hidden in our house that we go looking for. Usually it's my keys or my glasses, but sometimes it's not always my stuff, sometimes it's my husband's stuff. Um, you know, so I always it's a fairies. Taken in for sure. Yeah, taken up for sure. Now today in modern times, we we see mostly fairies and gardens. How many of you have seen fairy gardens out there? How many of you created a fairy garden? How many of you have a fairy garden? Yeah, right? They sell those fairy houses, you put them out, you can put little sparkly, glittery things in your gardens. Our neighbor across the street has an extensive fairy garden. All kinds of things for fairies to do, you know? It's now kind of more commercialized, I suppose, than anything else. Yeah.

And does the does the glitter attract them more? Like does it make them more enticing?

Maybe.

Shiny objects, right? I I mean, I can be kind of a fairy. You show me a shiny object and I'm flitting around. Shiny objects! Stop in the middle of a conversation, shiny objects!

And when we when we did um when we did our one of our psychic circles, oh god, years ago, pre-pandemic psychic circles, um, we did a a a thing on fairies, and we made things to go in a fairy garden, and they were all things that were shiny because the research says that they are attracted to shiny things. So, um and trinkets, you know. And when we were in Ireland, they said to leave sugar cubes for fairies, so we would leave sugar cubes around. Um at the fairy hills that they would bring us to. Um so I would think sweet, candy, and um shiny. Yeah.

Far enough away from the house so it doesn't attract the ants. Yeah. Oh, yeah, that's a good point. Yeah. So how many of you have ever seen a fairy? Or a flicker of a light of a fairy? One person, too. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. So out by the woods next to my house and my neighbor's house, we have lots of a wooded area that has lots of ferns and it's all over kind of overgrown and full of leaves, you know, trees and whatnot. And in the summertime, when it gets warm enough, you'll see little lights jumping out of the fair out of the ferns. And it's not, I swear, it's not, I'm not stoned, I'm not drunk, I promise. No, no altering substances, you know, involved. And you will see the little lights jumping out of the woods in where the ferns are, and they're slightly bigger than a firefly. And several times people have come inside the house and said, Are you sure the fireflies aren't out yet? I I know the fireflies aren't out yet because they don't come, what, till June, right? Warm weather. And they're big, they're big bright lights that'll fly, you know, jump up and show themselves to you. So it's really, it's really fascinating to see them interact with you. Again, they need to stay over there because I don't need any mischievous in my house. And I got enough going on.

So let's talk about the earth fairies. Well, there's there's they're called elementals for a reason, right? And it I went looking and as did Heather, uh, some research on um the four things. I found out there was a Renaissance man, a Swiss alchemist, his name was Paracelsus. Paracelsus. And he actually organized the fairies in the elements, and that's where the elementals came from. His work as an alchemist back in the 16th century. I thought that was really kind of interesting. But yes, there are earth fairies, air fairies, fire fairies, and water fairies. They're all very different. And by far the most type of fairy there are are the earth fairies.

But if we keep knocking down all the woods, I don't know if there's gonna be a lot of earth fairies left.

And they're all about stones, caves, forests, treasure, stability, right? Yeah. And one of these types of earth fairies lives over my head.

They do. Mr. Gnome. Mr. Gnome, whose name is Mike. We call him Mike. I don't think his name's really Mike, but I can't say his name because my psychic years, as being a Claire audience, um, all I can capture is Mike out of that. So he does. And I first I thought, well, recently I thought he was attached to my daughter because he was very prevalent in my home when I first moved there. And he would show up all the time. He would come right in the door, and you could feel his little little presence just kind of standing there looking at you. He doesn't have the hat, like you know, all the ones at you know, ocean state jobla and the beard, but like he doesn't have a big nose like the ones at the ocean state jobla, but um, he's just a jolly little you know creature. And then when my daughter moved out, he kind of laughed. And I was like, oh no. So I figured it was attached to my daughter because she's very Irish. Um, see she didn't get any Italian, not at all. Just her name, unfortunately. She's very Irish, and um, but what I realized was I was sitting on the porch. What was it? When did I tell you, Lisa? Two weeks ago, three weeks ago? You told us on the podcast on the podcast a couple weeks ago. I was sitting on the porch and I was looking over to the side yard, and I noticed there's a door, and it was also pointed out to me by some other friends that come over, and they were like, I think that's a door. And so, but there was a whole bunch of brush in front of the tree. So it was kind of blocking it. So I went over there and I moved the brush out of the way, and lo and behold, that evening, here comes Mike walking right in the door, and I was like, Oh my god, hi! And he looked at me and he was like, You blocked my door. And I was like, Oh, well, that's why you haven't been here in like five years. Okay, my bad. I promise I will not do that again to you. So he's he he has wisdom, he moves things in the house too. Every now and then a shoe goes missing, and you know, you're just like, okay, you gotta put it back because I gotta get out of here. But what I realize is when things go missing in the house, it's because I'm going too fast. And it means slow down. You're gonna be five minutes late, you're gonna be five minutes late. And there's a reason for that, right? Slow down, pay attention, you'll get there safely if you just take a minute. So it's really cool the way he shows up and you know, kind of does his thing. But he does, he comes through. I do believe that this tree is providing some form of energy for him to appear and disappear, I guess, is the best way. Um coming back and forth. Have you ever had an experience with a gnome?

I know, it doesn't whenever I sent a gnome, it was always coming from the shed, and I could just feel like he was very mumbly. I don't think he was not very he was mumbling.

Yeah. Mumbled? Yeah, mumbled. Because somebody didn't do the Yard work? Probably.

But that was years ago. That was way, that was like, I don't know, eight years ago or so.

A while ago. A while ago. Yeah. But there's a lot of other different types of earth fairies. There's dwarves. And they, you know, um, they're dwarves are known to create magical objects from North myth, type of mythology. They're known as Master Smiths. Anybody ever see a dwarf?

Anybody go to Norway? I guess they're prevalent in Norway. They might be prevalent in Ireland as well. Anybody go to Ireland and see a dwarf? I've never seen one in Ireland. No.

Well, unless what I caught on that picture is a dwarf, but it I don't think.

I do believe that's a true spirit, yeah.

So if you're wondering about the picture I caught of some elemental I know I t I posted it on our social media for Ready to Connect, but I can um repost it maybe. Um and it's a a picture, I do believe it's some sort of earth fairy. Um it was captured when we were at Killarney National Park. We were taking a walk through the park, and a small group of us um also had uh the uh musician with us, the fiddle player was with us, and he was carrying his fiddle on his back, and we were walking, and I felt this energy following us, and I told the group, I told my husband, just keep going, had I'm gonna stay back. And once they left, I said, Okay, show yourself. I know you're there, I can feel you, and nothing happened. So I just started taking photographs, and I found a picture, and there he was peeking out from the bush, looking at me. Um, but I did get a sense when he didn't come out, he he did give me the sense that he was more interested in the musician and what he was carrying on his back, like something about the music, and he was trying to follow that.

Well, music fuels the soul, right? Yeah. Give anybody in this room a good song, right? And it'll it'll lift your whole day up or it'll take you down, depending on the song, right? Yeah.

So when it comes to like earth fairies, like I don't know what that that energy was. I mean, it looked like it could have been an elf, maybe, I don't know, or a wood nymph, whatever those are. Um, I know dryads are supposed to be your tree spirits, and I saw plenty of those and took pictures of those in in in Ireland. I know that when you sense a tree spirit, um, you're supposed to ask permission to take their photo. Don't just assume you can. It's just like anyone else, when you walk up to them, you just don't just snap photos. Um you ask. And um, I remember in Ireland I went, there was this glorious huge tree, and it had you could see the face right in there. And I said, Can I take your picture? And he just said, No, I'm busy. Okay. And uh he was guarding the way to the waterfall. Oh wow. So he was busy. Okay. Your friends let me take their picture. All right.

All right. That's what we call it in America. You're being a jerk. Of course, the one I'm excited for is flower fairies. You know, love that all our spring flowers are coming up and our allergies are all, you know, interacting with us. It's fun. Um, but yeah, I can't wait for the flower, you know, all the flower fairies and the fee to start twitter painting around.

That are, you know, that you see popping around.

How many of you are gonna go home and plant a fairy garden so that you can see if you can find fairies? That way you can all discredit that we're not crazy.

At the very for your earth fairies, for your earth fairies, at the very least, put like a little circle of stones, and in the middle put something shiny, like pretty something shiny, sequence or something, and a little sugar cube. Do that.

Half the battle, right? Yeah, yeah. So and then there's the pixies. Pixies, and actually Walt Disney mirrored Tinkerbell off of a Pixie, and those are the ones that you really need to have reverence for. I've never seen a Pixie here in the United States. I don't know. Have you seen a Pixie? They're very mischievous.

Yeah. Yeah. They're gonna they're gonna lead you astray, they're gonna tell you the wrong directions, they're gonna, you know.

Anybody have any folklore in their family about pixies or fairies or that they've had passed down and like storytelling? Did your parents ever tell you like, you know, fun elemental stories as children? Probably not. They didn't want to scare you right out of your bed, I guess.

So I grew up in Newfoundland and and I don't really have a story, but it was a common um adult to a child, don't do that or the fairies will get you. Oh, a common statement.

And who started that in your family?

I have no idea, but it's not just my family. I think it was a common Newfoundland that are all Irish, mostly Irish.

Oh, okay. Yeah, because fairies were known to be, you know, little pieces of PG-13. PG-13! We found out our podcast was rated PG-13, and Ryan's like, I don't know why.

My wife grew up in Belgium, not far from uh a canal system. And uh and one day she saw what she thought in the beginning was rats dressed in people's clothing. Okay, running along the canal. But I think, you know, as she's thought about it over the years, I think they're not so convinced they were rats, and even if they look like rats, most likely we're faith.

Yeah, definitely messing around with people. I have a question though for you, Mike, um, so you know you're here. Uh in Native American folklore, uh do they have the Fay stories? Do they have a gnome story? Do they have a pixie story?

Yeah, we do. Like around here, they're either called Pajing Squis or Pogwegis.

Uh my own people call them Jagoe. And uh they're the little people.

And they can be um invisible and form human as they might need to, but they are usually invisible spirits um of the air. And they govern weather, wind, ideas, messages, thoughts, that kind of stuff is all about. Even just kind of movement in your own body where it changes. That's what I call it when I breath, you know, your breath is something that's air fairy, you know, that kind of thing. Inspiration, that kind of stuff.

You know, they weren't like just a, you know, chicken, no offense, chickens, but it wasn't just a chicken feather. Yeah, so it was but it was through your class.

Oh, um, it's not collecting the feathers, but I had an experience with my fiance who has been has passed since. But we would sit outside on the back deck, he had cancer, and we there was a white dove on the roof of the house. And this dove it didn't go anywhere, it just sat there. And every day when we went out on the deck, we would look for it, and sometimes it was over by one of my bird feeders walking around. And this wasn't a small dove, it was a good size dove. And of course, to me it was like it was a sign that things were happening. happening and I mean it just just to see that you're like oh my gosh you know and I look at Frank and you know and he's like and I'm like oh time is coming and I have to prepare myself but and then afterwards the dove left and we never saw it again until until after he passed and then you know people say that when a person passes you're gonna see a bright light and I did and that was really weird. And I was just like oh my gosh. And then the dove came back and the yeah and the dove did come back for a little bit and uh yeah I mean it was just like such a great moment. We took a few pictures of it. I mean it just I had no care in the world just sat there up on the roof where we could just sit there and look at it and hopefully one of the cats wouldn't get it. Because we had one cat that would jump on the bird feeders because we had it so low to the ground and you'd catch the bird um and walk away with it and it's like but it that was just such a unique experience to to have to see that.

Yeah it was just such an awesome I can anybody else have an experience like that where I don't have jars of feathers actually I this is the one feather that I did get and it was oh it was the one feather that I did get that was hugely symbolic to me. My daughter was going through IVF and having a really hard time and I had had a moment in the shower going you know what's going on I need to have a sign something it's just the whole family was just waiting for something and and I'm close to my dad who has passed and he comes to me and he gives me signs. And he comes to me as a hawk. So I see a hawk all the time and tell my dad show me a sign. Got some news when I was leaving work that was like I don't know if I like this news went to the car and there was a hawk feather placed perfectly right in front of my car door. Wow I got home that day and my daughter had called and said I'm pregnant. And I have my grandson. So to me that feather I've kept that feather but I don't I see birds as signs all the time I just don't get their feathers but this is the one feather that I think you don't have to have an actual collective feather.

Anyone else want to share a feather story? So just know when those feathers come like that, particularly for you that's that message is being given through the air fairy to drop that feather for you. Fire fire fairies the other element of fire of course the element of fire is all about transformation right things burn and get transformed into something new.

Fire can be bringing passion bring our power up right sometimes we have to find the courage and that fire burns inside us to pull that courage forward. You know it's all about illumination and transformation. If you do any kind of prayer work or mantra work you can write that down and manifest and put that into the fire and give it to the ethers and let the universe watch over you and bring that to fruition it's really it's really powerful. And but you gotta be able to be able to get burned when you work with fire. If you don't work with it correctly you will feel burned or burnt out or burned at the stake so to speak because it didn't work out the way you wanted it to either so um but when fires fairies do or the jinn right the genes one of them which are genies.

That's right I think that's and I think that's where that bad rap comes from um of course the guy that we talked about before that um alchemist Per Celsius um said that the fire fairies are known as salamanders too and he named them salamanders I think it's because um salamanders a real salamander can't just go into a fire and not get burned but um if you've ever thrown logs onto a fire to start it burning and there's salamander they can run out and be not be unscathed I guess is what I'm saying and so he thought salamanders was a good name for them I guess but they are described as being like lizard like creatures that um can be in hot flames too these fairies so you see them in the flame you know if you see anybody seen a fire fairy how many of you stare into fire a bonfire a fireplace a candlelight so when you're staring into the fire do you see anything? Do you notice any kind of pictures? Sometimes you could see pictures of dragons or so we get hypnotized and hypnotizing most people probably get fall into a meditative state more than anything else. I could see that yeah yeah but every now and then all right so here's the challenge we're coming up into bonfire season right so sitting outside with your fire stare at it and take a picture if you happen to take pictures and then look back at those pictures and see if you can look into the flame and see a fire fairy.

I of course always been fascinated with mermaids that's always been my thing um oh sorry I'm touching my mic sorry Chris um you're gonna get yelled I know Chris is gonna yell at me for touch my mic um yeah so I mean you've all heard of mermaids right more than just a Disney little mermaid yeah so mermaids I think is scientifically if you were to actually have a mermaid they would look nothing like um the mermaids that are drawn for Disney or they would be that just mythology don't they yeah they do another just like dragons the mermaids go back way back into you know the time of the earth now and the time of the earth before you know and absolutely mermaids have been and and what's the other one um nymphs are another one that are throughout folklore you know or the sirens that come up to the boat and take off you know the the sailors right and yeah they would you know that comes from the um odyssey and Homer's writing of the Odyssey the sirens were in that particular piece of writing but it comes from old mythology of sirens that scene right yeah but the the mermaids if you were to actually I I watched this on a I don't know what show Unsolved Mysteries no probably one of those shows but um if you were to actually if there was an actual mermaid it would look nothing like that they would be much larger they would be probably pretty ugly very bloated gray um it would look actually very similar right except maybe a little more human looking face but yeah they need that to keep them they would need all that blubber to keep them warm yeah so it was just really kind of interesting I'm like oh man but I love my cute little mermaids.

It's a way of control I think I I blame well we do attend anybody I blame organized religion quite a bit and not just one most of the people don't want you to be aware of this stuff so they can tell you all about it and tell you what to do.

Right. And that's very much so about our myth mythology our folklore our spirituality right that it's all been tamped down so that they could rewrite the story. Right. I mean you look at you look at the original paganism that the earth used you know that we used to have and you look at Easter now it's completely twisted from what it was right about the had to take it over so that they could control the correct so there is that there is that element to the like bunnies and eggs have nothing to do with Christ right yes that's a whole other podcast right when I worked with uh with Swami Jagavita he was always saying if if you ask for good you're gonna receive good and he said in Hinduism they believe if you ring a bell three times you can invite that positive energy like the fairies and the you know any elemental in um and I think there's lore out there about ringing the bells for the fairies right and building little fairy rings and whatnot and inviting them in but if you don't do that you're not gonna see them and we've become very blinded and oblivious to it spiritually which is sad. It's very sad.

But it's all teaching stones right if we all start talking about that and bringing it back and you know talking to our children and grandchildren and whatnot then that supernatural or mythology or folklore can come back into honoring right and like tonight you guys can all go home and do something to bring in that energy if you want to do well maybe not the pixies leave them alone um but you know I think if you approach any of this spiritually humbly you'll be rewarded right sure completely yeah so we have our folklore these are stories that teach us things tell us to respect nature um we have our mythology these beings get um personified um natural forces and human psychology is all part of that mythology supernatural they believe in real um supernatural says that these are real intelligence encounters um and dreams maybe they're altered states meditation um but these are real things that are out there and then science says that these experiences come from pattern recognition maybe suggestion maybe stress maybe nobody has stress in here I I want to know why can't it be all of it why can't having a stress cause a sleep state that allows me to be more open to receive something supernatural. I don't think it has to be one or the other but curious to know when it comes to fairies do you think it's more folklore mythology supernatural?

Yeah um I mean they were phenomenal teachers I'm not just saying that's good because I'm so I kind of have an obligation to say that they're awesome teachers but I'm just gonna um no it was it was great because um I I always knew growing up that I had a sense of um knowing like when spirits were there or or just that something else was there. But I didn't know how to harness that or um how to figure out well who is it you know what's the message um but then once I took I took the first class and that was just like diving deep like an overview and then I took the one-on-one class um afterwards and it was nice because I learned so many skills of how to hone in you know asking the right well not maybe not the right questions but asking questions as to like who is this person um what's the message and just different techniques of of how to get that information. So yeah I highly recommend it. I'm not just saying that's a great question.

I see the number 1111 all the time. And it wasn't always this way but I would say probably the last three or four years I see it at least once a week if not more. And it'll be day it'll be night it'll be you know it's not like one time a day oh I just have a like you could say if I start in the morning all the time oh I have a certain routine so I'm seeing it it's like I'll just look at my phone and it's like now it's uh I'm at the point where it's like oh there we go again. 111 1111 and I have a friend that knows a lot about the number stuff he sent me things about it but I know it's like about transformation or change coming or about spiritual awakening. Yeah and yet my question this has been going on for years and it's like so how do I get to that next level to figure out what are they trying to tell me?

Well not only that do you think that maybe you need to sit with the number just for a minute when you have the time and see if it correlates with um maybe someone who's a loved one who has passed and they're letting you know they're watching over you. Like does that ever resonate with you when you see the number like you know thank you whoever it could be something like that or it could be like at 1111 you just need to hear that pep talk right and you just happen to catch it. I mean there's there's so many variations we could sit up here and give to you it's about really digging into it and doing some soul talk and you know spirit talk and obviously Lisa Ryan and myself we're we're happy to walk through that with you because it sounds like it's not just showing up for just for protection right it sounds like it's correlating with something very important in your life and they're trying to show you I'm walking with you or I'm here or maybe that's the time your blood sugar drops and you need to go have a you know a piece of chocolate or something. You don't know right it could be anything all over the board with that one. For me it's 444 and that has been symbolic for a number of years at this point. So and it's tied to my grandfather.

Make a wish all right there you go one of the episodes that went off since everybody's staff I have to make my wish world piece or whatever there you go that's your 1111 you see it that's your time make your wishes another question what do you got I have a question um I was thinking about it when you were talking about um the elemental and the fairies and whatnot I see occasionally um and it's kind of hard to explain but I I I think it's weird I think of it as like a lightning bolt but it's like a rectangle and it comes down like from the top to the bottom and it's probably I don't know how to explain it because I don't see it straight on but they're like little shoots like rectangle sheets that come down all the time. And I don't know necessarily what it is I do know that I feel like there's a spirit there and my daughter sees that as well. So it's a rectangle it's very very thin it's like like you would like see like a lightning bolt like if you had a lightning bolt that went like this except it goes like this.

And it was it wasn't all the time but it was definitely something that made us both stop.

I'm gonna definitely say it's one of your ancestors coming to visit it's coming through almost like you'd see orbs but this is coming through it's coming down it's coming down like this and they're just dropping in that's what I would take it as. Okay I wouldn't take it as something scary. No I don't think of it as scary I don't think anything in this purple is really scary but I would take that as if if stop and notice when that's happening are you questioning something or are you needing a little support or a little whatever and is that where they are or are you doing something where one of your loved ones who's past would want to be a part of you know and they're just dropping in because they're gonna be there. You know that's what I would take it is if you're seeing it as light, I mean because I I I hearken back to orbs, right? Which is spiritual light um and sometimes our loved ones they manifest as orbs. Now I'm not clairvoyant so I you know I can't really speak if that's for sure but out of the periphery that's where our eyes can see things more clearly if you're not clairvoyant straight on. So um yeah I mean and if you see a flash like that and you're seeing it more than once and your eyes are fine for that and someone else is seeing it the same way in your house. And is it always in the same is it always in the same spot?

What you got my question is is I've experienced a lot of grief over the last 40 days. I had two losses in less than two weeks. So I was my heart dog and I've been getting what I think are signs from her. I keep seeing hearts and finding poorly flovers and she used to help me find poorly flovers all the time. So I'm kind of leaning towards okay I'm not crazy I'm getting signs specifically when I ask them but after the loss of my brother just only 13 days later I've been seeing him surrounded by lunar moths and I had a dream about a luna moth before he passed and it was during a full moon the lunar moth came through a screen and landed on my finger. Oh wow and so I was told the lunar moth were the big ones right and they glow and I keep staring at your fingernails because it's the same color as the lunar moth. But so I keep getting like hints of lunar moths all throughout different things whenever I'm thinking about my brother and it's like I how do you know you're not just making things up how do you know if it's real this is exactly how you know it's real because your left brain is trying to tell you it's not happening.

And that's that's the first thing we talk about in psychic work is when your left brain kicks in it's gonna constantly try to correct what you're seeing because it's not making any sense and you don't have anything tied to a memory of it. You don't have any knowledge of it and so your left brain is saying nope that didn't happen no no no no no nope but it really did happen and that's when you know it's a true sign. If you can even stay in the left brain with that though how often do you see a lunar moth?

Well I haven't seen them since I was a little kid where we used to live we used to have them all and my brother he's significantly younger than I am he was only 24 when he passed and I wasn't close to him so I don't know if there's a connection to lunomoths with him but is whenever I think of him I start seeing lunomoths flying around him.

Perfect that I've only seen a lunar moth once I was blessed it showed up on the screen of our um of our um kitchen no of the healing room that we have um I had a uh someone over uh for the weekend when I was back before back when we were starting our business and I had um another Lisa at my house and all of a sudden on the screen was this huge luna moth never seen one before they're beautiful and you're right this is the color of them yeah um and I've never seen it again. So the left brain the left brain will tell you it's not common to see lunar moths.

And so if it shows up there's a reason. There's a reason for it. And when I think back to the lunar moth if it's showing up as a sign or a symbol of someone I'm gonna look up the symbolism of lunar moth while we're interested um but if it's a sign or a symbol of someone who's passed showing up right around the time was when my father-in-law had passed away as well as my mother was ill and and she might have already passed away actually then too. So you know so even the left brain will say that's not normal.

How many of you in uh in the room have seen a lunomoth in your lifetime they're gorgeous yeah they're gorgeous but it's pretty rare yeah it's a spiritual symbol of transformation rebirth and ephemeral beauty often representing a profound sometimes painful metamorphosis or the end of a life phase and he actually died from a very rare disease where there was only 80 people documented worldwide and then another one that he developed during it there was only one other documented case worldwide.

I think maybe I mean we've heard several things come out in this podcast tonight where maybe we do leave a bowl of sugar out maybe we do leave our honey our honey right or peanut butter and you do little honorings for them and you just tell them you know that you welcome them here right and uh there's all sorts of different ways that we can honor them. Maybe you leave some shiny objects and then make a little fairy ring or um I don't know like that's a really open-ended question. Like I think your intentions invite them as long as you're going in with it with positive intention and you're asking for the highest good whatever you do to bring them back or to honor them is gonna be is going to be an honor. Like it doesn't necessarily have to be the sugar cook cubes maybe it is the honey or maybe they like banana peels you know whatever your intention is like doing healing work right your intention is for the highest good to honor that and I think I think you do whatever sparks your interest and you don't have to make it commercialized.
