SPEAKER_01

Welcome back to Ready to Connect. I'm Ryan. I'm Lisa. I'm Allah. And today we have the start of an awesome series. So we reached out to listeners to share their stories. And here are the stories that we wanted to share. So to start off with, we have Lisa Pru. So Lisa, welcome to the show. And can't wait to hear your stories.

SPEAKER_05

Okay, thank you. Thanks for having me. Before you start your story, who is this? Um Mrs. Archie. Archie, what a beautiful story. And he just came in to say hello. So tell our listeners what Archie is.

SPEAKER_04

Archie is a rescue from Applington, Georgia. And he is, we're pretty sure Weimar Honor Great Dane stuff, a myth. And he's very, very connected to me. He's yeah, he's one of three. We lost our older pup last week, but yeah, now we have two. All right, let's see the story. Okay, so my daughter recently had our first granddaughter. Congratulations. She lives down in Austin, Texas, and picture perfect pregnancy, great delivery, was two two weeks early, and then baby had uh a little bit of jaundice, lost some weight. So the hospital, her having a new graduated pediatrician wanted to do everything by the book. So the baby stayed in the hospital for four days. But apparently, once mom gets discharged, they no longer take care of the mom. It's all about the baby. So she wasn't drinking, she wasn't eating, she wasn't doing any of that, but they were asking her to um do uh triple feeding, something like that. So that's just a brief synopsis of she got physically in trouble. Yeah, yeah. She just so she needed my help when she got home. She she was too weak to like take it all, and it was just overwhelming. So off I went to help her. She is extremely connected to spirit, etc. Besides her full-time job, she does a um, she has a tarot business. She does, she's a Reiki master and she teaches yoga. Beautiful. So she's yeah, she's pretty into a lot of stuff. So that being said, it all seemed to come into her house once I got there, like a lot of synchronicities we were having together. Um, and then we were visited by a spirit that hadn't been there before, which was a little scary, but I can go into that as well. But it was interesting that when I first arrived, like once I got into the house, she was like a little bit anxious, and she said that her bathroom, which is off of her bedroom, was causing her high anxiety. She said, It smells like the hospital, there's something in there. It she said, I have a really bad vibe in there, and I can't go in there. So I'm just saying I'm gonna be using the other bathroom we're gonna be sharing. I said, Oh, fine. And it, you know, it was just like a little bit weird for that to be the first thing to be said. So as things went along, um, we were noticing like different colors being like more apparent, more visible than normally. Like it wasn't like, oh, you know, that's just certain color. They were like in our face, like different colors. Are you talking about like lights or orbs? Or both of us were just like super focused on these colors that were presenting themselves. Like, I don't know, when like whenever I have like a Reiki session with you, Lisa, I always see colors, right? Like when I close my eyes, I always see like a color, you know, in certain stages. It was kind of like that, but it was objects that were showing their colors. Like they were just standing out. Okay, so it started with red, and uh like she was still opening gifts, and the first gift she opened was like a bar of soap that was bright red. She opened a couple other gifts, and and she was like putting them to the side, like not knowing she was actually doing that, and then she got a candle with a St. Michael candle also red. Uh, we were making a grocery list as we were doing stuff, and everything I put on the list was red. I had beets, I had cranberry juice, I had um strawberries, cherries, like everything red. So then she's decided, like, well, I must be in like my root chakra, must be get needing attention. And having just given birth, probably, you know, that's so then it was moving on to orange, like everything was orange focused. Okay. And so then she's like moving up her chakras, like trying to get into line. It was funny because her whole pregnancy, she would when she would take a shower, she would take an orange in with her and peel the orange to get the the orange scent, plus you know, snack, whatever, in there. And all of a sudden, when she took her shower with her orange, the orange was burning her hand. She got like burns from the orange peels.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, like a really bad rash, a bubbly rash that looked like the beginning of poison ivy, but it was super painful.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

And then we also then moved into yellow yellow, so we're going up the chakra scale.

SPEAKER_05

And let's just take a moment and pause there a second for our listeners. Chakras are part of the energy body, they're energy centers. And what Lisa's talking about is that there's seven main ones that lay along the spine, and they start at the bottom of the spine with the root chakra, and they follow the colors of the rainbow. So red, orange, and now she's moving up to yellow. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and she was like um deciding that the yellow, you know, how the confidence from the yellow and the solar um plexus chakra was like her healing. And healing kept coming into like all of our feelings and stuff. So then um going back to the, you know, we just were going along with that. Like we changed, we changed her altar from her pregnancy altar to altar to now like a spring healing kind of altar, which incorporated all the colors that we had just seen, which and we had everything to do it. We didn't even have to like go out and get it. It was already there, like, which was a little bit weird. But anyway, so back to the the anxiety in the bathroom. I had been there a couple of days, and she woke up one morning and she's like, She's in the bathroom. This is where it gets a little heavy. And I'm like, who? She says, the spirit. She's in the bathroom, she's been in there for since I came home from the hospital, and that's why I can't go in there. And I said, Well, is she bad? And she said, No, she's there for me to heal, and she wants to stay, but we need to change it, and we need to change it to a healing vibe, and she's in there to eat all my pain and the stuff in there that's rotting, which without having a better way to say it, like all her maternity garbage, if you know what I'm saying. That kind of stuff. She said that's why she's in there, she's living on that, and she likes it in there, she likes the vibe, but she wants it to be more of a healing vibe, but she wants to stay, she needs it changed. So we started like changing, you know. I went in there, she couldn't do it because she couldn't stand it in there. And I mean, the the spirit had given she had a name, I could feel her like when she was, and she would keep coming in and out, like she was talking to Shelby, but when she was with me, it was total body chill.

SPEAKER_05

Well, that's how you knew she was with you. That was my question. Like you said, I could feel her. How did you feel her?

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, she I could feel her through being extremely cold, and then Shelby, she Shelby could hear her. Okay. But and it was when I got home, she was in my bathroom here. Oh, oh my. So I changed the bathroom here as well, and she goes away. It sounded like she was a healer of some kind, no? She was a healer, but when we looked her up, um, she kind of had a bad vibe around her, like a bad description. She was like strange in that she was eating, she was all about decay and rotting and compost and that kind, she was all about that. Like she wanted like when you when she was around, you could it smelled like you were in the forest and it just rained. Okay. So and her name was Aleph L A L E P H. So I don't know. That was her, but we made her happy. Okay. And she also um was Shelby's um very best bathroom at the same time, like she could feel it over there at her house.

SPEAKER_02

Really?

SPEAKER_04

So wow, so that was that was interesting. But we we took care of her and then uh Shelby was noticing my fatigue, so she made me a spa day, and she said, I want you to, I'm gonna set you up this nice tray. You're gonna lock yourself in the bathroom. She has a big soaking tub, and you're just gonna relax. So I set myself up for that, and she gave me this beautiful like TV tray on it. Was she had a cup of tea, there was a bath bomb in there. Um, uh, there was a spell candle and a little journal I could write stuff on. And one of Shelby's um spirit guides is a Tsunon, or he's a genie, I guess is a better, and his name is Um Tutak. He says it really fast, and he's extremely not shy, he's very confident, he has no boundaries, and he likes to be very close, like like he likes to be like super close.

SPEAKER_05

Did he join you in the GitHub or something?

SPEAKER_04

He did. So I had never actually seen him, but Shelby had you know told me all about him. So when he showed up, I knew it was him. And I had got Shelby in a thrift shop, this cool um, she was some kind of goddess that Shelby has on her altar. I got it in a thrift shop, and the day I got it, I also bought this little um genie that I found in the store, just like laying on a shelf. I was like, oh, it's a genie. I'm gonna send that to Shelby because of two talk. I had forgot to send that to her when I sent her the goddess statue, but I brought it on this trip to Austin. So she put the genie on my tray to bring in the bathroom, you know, to do my spa day. It's like an invitation for him to join you. I yes, I think so. So anyway, I I did the um got in the tub, this bath bomb, it was like all bubbly, and I was just starting to reflect, and um the baby's due date was February 9th, which was the day I was there and in the tub. And I don't know if it was too tutok or who said it to me, but I heard them say that this wasn't the baby's birth date, this was my birth date, and I was being born right then in the tub.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

And that I was to celebrate this birthday until my next death, which at that time I won't be as scared as I was in the last one.

SPEAKER_05

Wow.

SPEAKER_04

Right? Yeah, which also made sense to me. Okay, which I probably won't have time to go into, but anyway, there was that. So um and then I just yeah, very powerful, and then um all of a sudden there again the color was in my face, but it was like I couldn't see anything else, and it was yellow, and it was like wrinkly satin, and that's what Tukak wears is a satin outfit, yellow. So he was in standing too close to me, basically. So, anyway, I've I finished out my um bath and I had lit the candle and everything, and I was drying myself off, and I was looking at the candle and I was like, I don't have a snuffer to put that candle out. And I know you're not supposed to blow the candle out because then the spirit will go away. So I'm like, how am I gonna put the candle out? So I bent over to like dry my feet off, and this drip came from I don't know, my face or and it went directly on the flame and put the flame out. I was like, all right, that that problem's taken care of. So that was that was kind of cool. And then the um the bath bomb, I don't know, the ones that I've ever seen like completely dissolve when I have them here at home, but this one was like in a little piece of which I didn't notice ahead of time, was in like a piece of cheesecloth and it had like flower petals and like herbs and stuff in it. And so I was like, I don't know if I'm supposed to throw that away or what. So I picked it up and I squeezed it out, and then I they said, um, that's the placenta from your birth. Yeah, and I was like, okay. I what'd you make of that?

SPEAKER_05

What did you make of that when you heard that?

SPEAKER_04

I just accepted it. I was like, yeah, okay. So then I didn't like throw it in the garbage. I gave it, I said to Shelby, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do with this. And she said, we'll put it on the altar.

SPEAKER_05

So it's like a bunch of of flowers and herbs that were part of your bath.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, and it was like wrapped in cheesecloth, but when you um when I squished it down, it kind of did look like a human, like a body part.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

It was a little odd.

SPEAKER_05

Well, it's interesting. You're taking this bath and these herbs and stuff, and you're told you're being reborn or this is your birthday starting from. And is what gives us our life, right? From the mother. Yeah. And so filled with herbs and natural elements, your your life is being given to you from nature, I suppose. Right. And I know this about you. You enjoy your nature and your animals.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And the interesting thing as well was my daughter has never in her entire life asked for help. That's why I knew that she needed it. It was kind of a new beginning for our relationship because she got a shift in her perspective of what being a mom actually is. Like she had a shift. So, which is another thing that came on a card that we pulled, which I'll get to in one second. But with the bath being over and my candle put out, they told me to back out of the go out of the door backwards with the tray and close the door. And that and then then that was the end. And I felt like a different person after that. I mean, I didn't feel bad going in, but I felt fantastic coming out. Sure. So there was that. So then I was, you know, I was all excited about that. And then um I went and sat, she has a meditation room, and I went and sat in there, and I had gone to thistle glass on your guys' um advice, and I got a bunch of crystals for her for her pregnancy and and the birth and all that. And Mary, as you said, she gives you, she keeps giving you stuff. I came out of there with like a basket of stuff. But she had given me this pendant that she made with all little crystal balls in it for protection that I wore like down to Shelby's. And when I was sitting in the meditation room, Shelby came in and she said, Mom, I bought this pendant, she said, like a year ago, and she said, I don't know why I bought it, but I feel like I need to give it to you now. This is for you. And it was Maiden Mother Crone pendant. And she said, I need a new necklace too. And right when she said that protection necklace that Mary made, the chain broke or disconnected. So I was like, Well, I guess this is yours now, and we'll just switch. So I put the pendant that she gave me, and then she took the other pendant and wore it. So I was like, now I pass it on to you. And at the same time, her husband came in and he said, This is weird. He said, I was working in the office and he said there was something under my foot, and I picked it up, and he says, I need to give it to you. And he gave it to me. It was a pendulum with no chain, with no string. It was just the pendulum. And he said, I've never seen this in my life, and neither had Shelby. And he said, But you need a you need something to hang it on. And when I looked at the necklace that had broken off, there was like a little piece of chain left. You know how you can like have an extension on the to make the necklace longer? That was separate from the pendant that broke, and it was perfect for the pendulum. Wow. So I put that on there. So it was like everybody was like working together. And and then sorry, this is like the airplane crit I caught because we were just down there again this past weekend. So anyway, we then she had said for me to pull a card from her tarot deck, and which she has, I don't know how many 20, 20 or whatever of them. And she's and I said, This one right here on the table, she says, Yeah, that one's good. And there was a candle on top of it lit. It was a karma candle. And when I moved the candle to open the deck, there was a card stuck to the bottom of the candle. So I was like, Well, that you know, is obviously something. And when I looked at it, it was a dead fox. And I was like, you know, I just looked at it like this is kind of a strange thing for whatever. So when we looked at the meaning of it, it meant that it was the end of a cycle and uh new birth, which I had just been born like the day before, and then she had her new baby. And it said it was uh um the fox represented a necessity of letting go. So I was we were letting go of like how Shelby was now going to be able to ask me for help. It was like that we came we became much closer on that visit. And it was also a um represented a bridge uh to new beginnings, which was that was what it was all about, also a shift in perspective, which we decided was um because Shelby became a new realization of what moms actually go through. And she never appreciated it. So she was like, I have to thank you, I have to thank your mom, I have to thank all the moms, because this is like not easy. So that's like pretty much how it ended. Like everybody was changed and better.

SPEAKER_05

So this is interesting, Lisa. I looked up um the spirit of Aleph, L-E-P-R-H, and what it means. Well, it's the first letter of the Hebrew alphabet, but it embodies the essence of beginnings, strength, divine breath, and unity.

SPEAKER_04

That's what it was.

SPEAKER_05

That's what it was.

SPEAKER_01

Wow.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. So she was probably taking all the stuff that was there rotting, spiritually rotting, away. That's a new beginning. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. Because the just I'll I'll say it really shortly, like my first death, you know, that they said that this was a new birth after my death from before, which was, I don't I know you could not you, Ryan, but I know Heather and Lisa both have kids. When they when sometimes you I don't know if you've gone through the conversation of how you could have been a better mom. I don't know if you've had that conversation. And it was pretty shocking to me what she said. And it kind of made like part of you die inside a little bit. And that went away. That completely changed with that whole like I don't know. I I felt like I had a dagger in me, like after she said that, which was a couple years ago, but it's gone now since that whole experience, our time together at this point. So that to me was like beautiful. What an experience. Yeah. And it hasn't gone away. That hasn't gone away. It's just gotten better. It definitely seems like I was like, I have to share this with somebody.

SPEAKER_01

Absolutely. Yeah. Thank you for sharing that story. Definitely seems like certainly a time of, as you said, rebirth and also healing just all around. Yeah. So that's that's incredible.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I know there's heavy parts of it, but I mean that's that's how it was.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

So that was cool.

SPEAKER_03

Did you, Lisa, did you recognize that you had a spiritual dagger with you know, still kind of in place until uh throughout the last couple years? And then you didn't you didn't realize something was there. What what area of the body was the dagger affecting you?

SPEAKER_04

Um I want to say like my adrenals, like in the back here, yeah, like heart space, low backside heart space.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah. Yeah. And then when you had this birthing moment when that dagger was removed, did you have something visceral happen for you? Like, did you take a really deep breath as that dagger was pulled out, or did it feel like it just slipped out and fell to the bottom of the tub? Like, what was your experience of now recognizing that dagger was removed?

SPEAKER_04

That happened right when they said, um, this is this is not Ren's birth date, this is your birth date. And then I was like so focused on okay, what's coming next? And when they said for you to celebrate until your next death, which won't be as terrifying. And I just felt like this, like a lighterness, like a like something was just like left. It wasn't a like like a pain that that left, it was just like a feeling like you're I'm so much more myself now, like I can like take a step again.

SPEAKER_03

And Lisa, if you were able to sit down um and sketch something, even if you're not an artist, can you see the dagger that came spiritually was removed from you? Yeah, yeah, okay. So in pagan traditions, we use the film to open the directions. So maybe there's a way for you to sketch your dagger and create a film from it. Or you just use the, if you can't create the actual, you know, a film with it, you can just use the spiritualization of the picture you draw, and then that is your calling to use that now in a film instead of just being a dagger to open, you know, ceremony for yourself or meditation for yourself or cutting cords away from you know, so that you can heal or other people can heal. So it's an open doorway for uh exploring the even deeper roots of paganism, too, because we take the daggers and we turn them into positives.

SPEAKER_04

Okay. So how should I how should I like just keep a picture of of it or just in my mind?

SPEAKER_03

So yeah, I would take the picture and if you do your best to get it onto the paper, maybe you can find on the internet a dagger or an athone that might map oh, you do have it, see? I do it. Okay. So maybe try to find um an a theme on you know on the internet so that you can um purchase it and this becomes part of magical healing practice for you when we can take a negative dagger and turn it into a positive theme to open up direction so that you have constant connection spiritually. Thank you. I love that. I definitely do that. Well, it's important to make a negative and make a positive, right? Absolutely, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I love this experience and I love it for you too, Lisa. Yeah, yeah, it's been it's been amazing.

SPEAKER_04

So tell us now about your mule. Okay, so I had a mule, Shasta was her name, and I got her when she was two years old, and I had her for 31 years. And I yeah, and she was like, she was the best. Like she never ever didn't do something I asked her to do. Like she we used to do, um, we used to do demonstrations at Yukon Symposium, at Quina Fair up in um Springfield. She just did everything. You could ride her, you could drive her. I used to do plow matches with her. She her favorite thing was to do trail riding, which I live right on top river, the Greenway Trail, so we used to ride there all the time. This is a mule.

SPEAKER_05

This is a mule, not a donkey. Yeah. So aren't mules supposed to be stubborn, but she did everything you need? No, they're self-preservative. I'm just I'm just kidding. Go ahead, keep going.

SPEAKER_04

But yes, they do have that wrap, but the problem is they're too smart for their own good, and they will not put themselves in danger, unlike a horse. A horse is like will flee away from something they're frightened of. A mule mule will stand there and figure it out until they can progress. And I still we still have a mule. Um, my husband's mule, Jerry, he's still here. But um, I'm looking at him out the window. But yeah, so she has to she did everything I asked her to do. She did not like any kind of driving, like she hated the plow matches, she hated pulling the uh wagon I had. So it was funny. If I got the harness out, she would run and stand behind a tree, like you can't see her. I mean, she was a 1200-pound animal trying to hide behind a tree because she didn't want to pull something, and but she would love to go for rides in the trailer and also to go trail riding. So she was more.

SPEAKER_03

Lisa was was she more more horse than donkey? Was she more mare than donkey? She wasn't mare at all. So she was more donkey, yeah. She was just like super smart, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

She was super smart. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah, and she was so cute. She was little, she was like, they used to um call her the yellow mule because she was like a palomino color but super light colored. Okay. Um, so sometimes she looked white, sometimes she looked yellow. Yeah. Well, anyway, she was 31 years old, and I went out to feed her one morning, like in in August, two years ago, and the other mule was screaming, and he came charging up to the gate, and I was like, something's up. And when I went in the barn, I didn't see her standing there, and she was laying in a stall like she went to sleep. There was no thrashing, there was nothing like she had any kind of issue. It just looked like she went down, she laid down and went to sleep. And she was gone. So I called my husband, told him, and he was came home from work, and we decided we're gonna just do everything here and we're gonna do it alone. So we she was in the stall, so we had to take her out of the barn, uh, obviously, which was a feat in itself, because she was 1200 pounds. But right when we got her out of the barn onto the grass in front of the barn, I'm a crow person. We have three crows that come here like religiously, and one flew directly, like couldn't have been straighter than arrow directly over me and her as she was laying on the ground. It was just like, and he was so low, and he just like completely flew straight across over us, and then I turned around, and there were three female cardinals on the fence on one side, which I never saw three cardinals sitting together, females, and then directly across there was one male on the post, and she was laying on the ground between them. It was just like that's pretty cool. And then that night we were watching some something on TV. I wasn't really watching, I was just like in a daze, and across the bottom of the TV screen, you know how in um like uh cities, um, like in New Orleans, they have the mules pulling the wagons down in the corner of the screen. I saw a white mule pulling a white carriage, and it just went across the bottom of the screen on a TV screen. Wow. And I said to my husband, Did you see that? And he's like, I think so. But it was like, it was just like that was crazy bizarre.

SPEAKER_01

Right.

SPEAKER_04

And then um, you know, I kept looking for signs, and there was a soaring um yellow, like pale yellow butterfly that was like the size of my hand that flew past me. It almost hit me in the face out in the yard when I was coming back in from the barn, which I I, you know, took as being her. And then um I work at a horse farm in town, and I went like a couple days later, and there was um two morning doves calling, and it sounded like surround sound, and I had also heard that at home. But when I went to um feed the horses over there, they had their little feed thing on the ground. There was three morning doves sitting on top of that feed bin, and I only ever saw two before, but there were three of them sitting there, and they were just on the ground, like looking at me. So I took that as her as well. And she had this habit of on my right shoulder, she would rub her forehead, like, and she'd rub so hard that I would have to brace myself against a tree or a fence post or something, so that she wouldn't knock me down. But she always did that, and always on my right shoulder. And when I turned one of the horses out that that morning, and this horse has never made contact with me before, she did that same thing on my right shoulder, which I thought was pretty, pretty cool. And then I saw um a blue, blue butterfly here at home as well. I see a lot of butterflies like around that time, but the really bizarre thing was I was going into work that morning, and I said, please give me a sign shasta. And I was like going on the road behind my house, and the sun got so bright that I I like had to like like squint my eyes. It was so bright, like there was a reflection coming back, and the house behind us that connects to the field where the mules hang out, like when they're outside, there was a camper that had never been there before, parked in the driveway, and it had a metal um like hood over the window awning, I guess you call it, and it's it was a Shasta trailer. Oh wow, and it was the sun hitting the the icon, what do you call it? Icon logo emblem that says Shasta beaming like in my face to where I couldn't even like drive. It was so bright. And then such a sign, and then the last sign, which was this probably the strongest and the most bizarre, was I drive a FJ Cruiser, which is a discontinued car that I refused to give up. And we were going to Colchester to get a load of hay, me and my husband in the truck, and out of nowhere, this blue FJ Cruiser pulls like almost cuts us off, like came out of nowhere. And it was pulling a little vintage camper trailer, which I love little vintage camper trailers. It was a shasta, and I said, I want to know if this guy's redoing this trailer, if he's gonna sell it, let's see where he drives to because I want to like stock this trailer. I want this trailer, so we're you know, watching it, watching, we were following it. We're going to Colchester, and then all of a sudden we both realized that it was no longer in front of us, and we don't know where it turned off, it just like disappeared.

SPEAKER_03

Wow. So not meant for you to purchase it, definitely. Just a good reminder.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so that was that. That's my story, and it was all it was all good. That's why I said that the Shafta story was a little bit lighter, but she also comes back, you know, every once in a while. Like I know she's been around.

SPEAKER_05

I think it's a great story for our listeners to kind of really I mean, you're in tune, you're aware, Lisa, so you see the signs when they're there, and I think it's just a great story for our listeners to hear again, because we've talked about this before on the podcast. It's just about opening up your awareness because there's signs are all around you all the time, not even when you ask for them, they're there, right?

SPEAKER_04

And your podcast actually like brought me back to that bringing it back to the surface, like not just taking it for granted. It's like, oh no, I should be paying attention to that, and it's because of like what you guys are saying in your podcast, like to be aware of this kind of stuff, it's there, just see it.

SPEAKER_03

Tap into it, maybe not see it, maybe hear it or feel it, right? Right, yeah, it's just right, absolutely, because I think I think we're so instantaneous in our society that we're just not listening to the we're not looking, right? We don't listen to the topic sometimes, we're not listening or look whatever. Um when we can be present, it's it's it's just like little miracles throughout the day, right?

SPEAKER_04

And those are exactly and I I met I met this old cowboy guy years ago, and he said, Don't just look, but actually see, which you have to really like deeply think into what that actually means. But there is a difference between looking and seeing, and then he said it's the same with listening. He says, Don't just listen, you have to actually hear, and that goes over and over in my head a lot, and I try to like tell people that because there is a difference, very much so, yeah, and and not everything is all tangled up, you get tangled up in your life, and you don't you lose that connection bit of an edge that actually hear, don't just listen or just actually see, don't just look. And it's not that hard, and it's such a good thing to do, like it it changes your day, or it changes your everything. It's very cool.

SPEAKER_03

And and when you utilize what you're saying, you because not everything's a sign, you know, you could be driving down the road and the hawk just flies over you. Okay, I saw it. But when that hawk is flying in front of you and looks right at you and then continues, now you really need to look at that, right? Exactly. Yes, right. Or when you hear something, sometimes we just hear things, but then there's times where we hear things, and we know that changes the trajectory of whatever's happening in that moment. So again, it is you're absolutely right, and he's absolutely right. We we take all of it for granted, we just get used to, you know, the mundane, um, you know, everyday ritual we do. We get up, we have coffee, we put our pants down, we go to work, right? Yeah. This reminds us to be mindful, right? That that whole word that's always over the internet everywhere. What is mindfulness? Well, that's mindfulness.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. And it is it's work. It's not just superficial, it's it's work, but it's it's such um necessary to do that. And that that cowboy that he he showed me that by pick picking a leaf off of a tree. And he says, look at this, tell me what you see. And I, you know, superficial. And he says, now see it and tell me what you see. And it was completely different, right?

SPEAKER_03

Because you can see a leaf, but when you look at a leaf, it has veins, it has texture, it has color, and right, yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Two different sides are completely different, like and this the stem and how it sits on the branch and how the different leaves grow on different branches, and it's you know, it's it's just a little thing, but it sure sure can change the way you see things everywhere.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I I can I just go back to the Shasta story for a minute. I have a question for you, horse ladies. Okay. Is it likely for a mule to channel through a horse like that? Like like I know I channel spirit, right? For people when they come for readings. You do too, Heather. Do horses do that? Oh yeah. Like, is it hard for an animal spirit? Because I don't do a lot of the animal communication, not like you do, Heather or Brian. You're definitely more of an animal communicator than I might be, but um does it that does the spirit of Shasta have to work hard to do that to get into the horse, to nudge her like that?

SPEAKER_04

I I don't I felt like I was asking for it.

SPEAKER_05

Right, like that horse maybe needed like I asked her to do that for me. I mean, would a horse hear Shasta saying, go nudge my mommy?

SPEAKER_04

I don't know, because I actually I was concerned about Jerry, which is our other mule, and he never had been without her. I mean, that and we got him when he was six months old. So I was like, do I quickly get another mule? Do I quickly get another horse? Do I get a goat? Like, what is but he went through the whole process, including like she's buried here, and he he stands there and he walks in circles, like even when it snowed this winter, you could see where he walk in circles, like right where she is, and he lays there, and so he knows that she's there, but I had um talked to um an animal communicator, and I said, Can you ask him like how to help him through this? And it was soon after she she passed away, and he said that it would be he would like to have a horse friend to gel with, and I was like, that's totally what he would say because he's like a hippie, and he also asked for her blue blanket, which she wear, it was like a fleece that she wears were like if it was chilly out in the barn. He wanted that in his stall, and there was like a gate. Um, so I hung it on his stall. He wanted that, and I was like, he's telling that, he's telling her that. he wants that. And um, but he he's done well. And I don't know, he's he just asked for us to continue to um rub his eyelashes because he likes when we do that. So I don't know. She, you know, there was a little there was communication from him through her, but and I I haven't had the strength yet to ask her what happened because I don't really know if I need to know because it was peaceful.

SPEAKER_03

So but he's your what is your heart space you know what is your heart say Lisa like that that's that's your answer right yeah I feel like she couldn't have done it easier for me I didn't have to make any decision.

SPEAKER_04

She did it on her own terms. She did it on her own. Yeah and she went to sleep. She went to sleep and she was so peaceful.

SPEAKER_03

I mean there was nothing about her that looked stressed yeah yeah she went to sleep she went to sleep I think most people when they think about death whether it's a person or an animal like most people would say I would just rather just go to sleep and that'll be it right no suffering no no whatever yeah so she and she was five she was fine the night before I went out there at night check like nine o'clock and she's standing there eating her hay like every other night of her 31 years here and then she wasn't in the morning she went to sleep yep so yeah and she was and she was in the other stall she was in Jerry's stall she wasn't even in her own stall which actually made it easier because it was closer to the door when we had to bring her outside but and she knew that she was she was conscientious yeah absolutely and then she went to sleep and yeah yeah she knew she did it on her terms you know and but she positioned herself so that she knew you could take care of her a little easier right and and this may be why you know Jerry's not having such issues with it because he was part of he was privy to her being there right and he was he was probably there for the whole process.

SPEAKER_04

Oh absolutely yeah because they shared they had they shared the whole area together they had their option of which stall they wanted to go in and they had set up we had opened up the two stalls together um like in the past probably four years they usually had separate stalls but without you know without run with runouts to the outside so they can go in and out as they please but um yeah he she was in his stall and like I said he met me um he screamed and ran to the gate that morning and then all the other attention yeah in the grass as I was walking up there was a um circle in the grass of um little mushrooms like a complete big circle I was like yeah something something's up well they say when you find the mushroom ring that it's the fairies right the Faye folks that's what I yeah that's how I took it as well yeah the Fays their little hobbit area right their little area and then and we have a little um behind the barn we have like a woodland forest I have one that I hope that fairies come to I I think they come there. I mean that's the that's why it's there.

SPEAKER_03

Well they like shiny objects so you can put trinkets out there or like go get go to the Dollar Tree or you know whatever the bucket quarter store and get a little bag of beads that are sparkly. Yeah kind of sprinkle them in where you where you think the the fee are yeah I will do that. Here where I live they live in the side lot where all the ferns come up and you can see them they look like they look like super giant fireflies and you can see them just sprout you know just fly fluttering around. Oh that's fun. Yeah I would do that in fact the other evening I had a guest over and um this person not quite on the same page as we are um comes running in and he's like fireflies and I was like oh no it's way too early for fireflies it is um going crazy I'm like you're not crazy I was like you know you're you're by a lake we're in the woods like what did you see and he was like I saw a firefly on steroids and I was like I love it oh my gosh so is it this big this big he was like no no no steroids oh my goodness so the Fayar awakening was as spring although you wouldn't know it last night because it was only 20 degrees here last night. I know the Fayar um awakening for spring so you keep your eyes open okay I'm gonna do that.

SPEAKER_04

Well they used to be here when my other daughter was little because we used we um I used to find like these sticks in the yard with like a little string tied to it. And I was like what is that? Oh that's where they um dry their clothes out the fairies and then we had a wedding and where my husband and I actually had to like sit in chairs out there and we had to wait because the bride um came to the altar but she had to ride in on one of our chickens and it was a little bit hard to get the chicken to come to the altar. But she what okay all right uh the bride ran rode in on the chicken to to get married and so we had the fairy wedding in the yard and then like a month later I was like so how I can't remember their names but I said so how are they doing she said oh they they went to Florida they're not together anymore but they're still best friends that's quite a story about the fairies that live there well that was from my other my youngest daughter that was her that was a big deal yeah thank you so much for sharing your stories with us here on Ready to Connect we really do all of them well thank you so much for joining us today for having me yeah it was great to see you and talk to you great to see you guys too yeah sorry I missed your fair that's all right come see us on the fourth I will yeah I we were back down in Austin so um when you guys had your fair but I had planned on going but I'll I'll find you I'll catch up to you all right perfect thanks again all right you guys have a great day thank you too thank you for connecting with us thank you keep up the good work I love it thank you thank you thank you for tuning in to Ready to Connect if you're interested in exclusive behind the scenes content be sure to like share and follow us on social media by searching for Ready to Connect podcast on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
